The Disney Afternoon’s’ programming block launched 34 years ago, September 10, 1990.
The block will turn 35 years in 2025, wishful thinking for a crossover series with all characters like Jellystone! from MAX getting ordered.
The 2010s and 2020s saw new interations of some shows of The Disney Afternoon block with DuckTales as reboot for Disney XD , Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers as a live action/cgi hybrid film for Disney+.

New interations of The Disney Afternoon shows are still being made with Darkwing Duck having a reboot in the works since 2020 and a TaleSpin reboot very early in development since 2023 both projects for Disney+ are being helm by Disney Television Animation, Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg and Point Grey Pictures. (Nickelodeon Animation Studios "Tales Of The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles") In October 2023, it was announced that Gargoyles was getting a live action reboot handled by Atomic Monster and Blumhouse Television, Gary Dauberman (Warner Bros “Anabelle” franchise), acts as showrunner with James Wan and Michael Clear (Universal Pictures “M3GAN”) as Executive Producers alongside Jason Blum (Universal Pictures "Five Nights At Freddy's").

One time I dreamt that...
I was chasing my dog down the beach and bumped into the cast of Critical Role. After apologizing, we hung out 'cause Matt, Ashley, and Marisha thought my dog was cute. I got to talk D&D with them and share cursed character ideas. It was nice

The closer we get to the boss battle on the moon and the end of C3 the more I am thinking about Matt saying
ALMOST
every champion of every god in the pantheon would be making their way to the moon. Aabria asking what champions were left. And Matt saying we would have to wait and see.
I haven’t forgotten Matthew! I know it was a comment in a cooldown 20 episodes ago! But I have not forgotten!!!!! I am going to hold you to that!!!!!

rescue mission - hedon || izak, sen, matt, elio
where: hedon with: @izakvoros ; @matthew-alexander ; @elio-del-vecchio
●・○・●・○ 𝙎𝙏𝘼𝙍𝙏.●・○・●・○ 𝗦𝗘𝗡 ●・○・●・○・●・○・●・○・●・○・●・○・●
Sen glanced down at his watch as the other two councilmen finished quick work of the door guards and made a note of their diminishing time. Whoever these goons had taken had made sure to make the rescue attempt as disastrous as possible for them as possible, and he should have known by the time the note’s content was read to him that it wouldn’t have been so simple as a blazing through with unmatched power than humans could never possess.
He sighed, nerves frayed by the torment he had felt for these misguided humans, and rushed past Matthew and Elio to slam open the doors. Even with his diminished abilities, he managed to surprise the final set of guards, and his skin erupted into bright, blinding light, akin to the sun, and he felt every inch of his body tense as if stuck with an electric prod, but it was the price to pay to save….
Izak?! The foul-mouthed, vicemonger who always reeked of lies and blood?
The vampire in the cage shielded his eyes, cursing loudly as if this move inconvenienced him, but he ripped his gaze away from the wretched man and counted the remaining humans. Three. Easier said than done, and as he held the light for a little bit longer, he prepped the next needle.
He stumbled over to the closest guard, snatching their hand firmly to inject the drug into her system through the vein. It wasn’t a proper way to administer, and he said a silent prayer as she cried out from the shock. At least if she died, she would die painlessly, but he must’ve waited too long and a shot rang out in their direction. A searing pain ate at his side, and he fell to the floor, his power dimming like a light switch flicking off. He hissed through a breath as he scrambled to safety underneath a large desk, but the blood trail left behind was sure to call attention to him.
𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗢 ●・○・●・○・●・○・●・○・●・○・●・○・●
Elio glanced down at a watch he had worn for the mission, lips pulled into a grim line when he saw how little time was left. He motioned for Matthew to stay back just as he could see light emitted from the open doorway ahead of them.
Sen.
Elio knew As soon as he saw the light what the other was doing, and moved quickly to strike while the guards would still be recovering.
Elio swiftly entered the room, using magic to fling the two guards nearing Sen against the far side walls. The movement was reflexive and hauntingly familiar, and for a second he almost wanted to check on them. Elio prayed they still breathed, fear clutching his heart for a moment as he thought of how easy it had been yet again to prioritize someone he cared for at the cost of numerous human lives.
It had taken Elio a moment to come back to his senses, only to be distracted yet again when he realized who stood in the cage. Voros?! His eyes narrowed in annoyance, wondering just how the elder had gotten captured.
The deity continued to find his attention pulled in one direction and then another however when he heard a shot ring out and saw Sen had been hit. His gaze immediately returned to the hunters, noting one was holding their weapon again, and he instantly regretted his own hesitance. Without a second thought Elio crushed each of the guns with what was left of his magic, exhausted but at least reassured they could no longer be used for harm.
𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗧 ●・○・●・○・●・○・●・○・●・○・●・○・●
Matthew could feel the wetness seeping through his fingers from where he had a hand pressed against the bullet wound in his stomach. It hurt and he hated that his body was unable to heal as it normally could. Bullets should mean nothing to a fallen deity like himself and yet here he was, gritting his teeth in the face of that pain after taking a damned bullet for Elio, of all people. He should have just let the deity get shot.
He made his way into the meeting room after hearing enough of a commotion to witness the aftermath of Sen and Elio's actions. The hunters were still fighting back despite being flung against the far wall. It was all a blurred flurry of motion out of the corners of his eyes when Matthew finally clocked exactly who was in that cage. It had to be Izak, of course, and Matthew stared in disbelief for a long moment before a shot rang out.
Sen getting shot pulled the fallen deity back to reality and he tore his eyes away from the ancient vampire. They needed to let Izak out. And not just to release him before midnight which was imperative, but also because Izak could help.
He made a move towards the cage and used what shadow magic he could muster to snake his darkness towards the lock, but was flung against the wall when a magic bomb took him by surprise. One of the hunters had lobbed one at him in a ditch effort at cutting him off. Matthew felt a cold wash of fear descend upon him when his grasp on his magic disappeared, leaving him defenceless as he fell to the ground.
"Open the cage!" he called out to Sen, to Elio, to whoever was closest to Izak's cage in that moment. If the deities were not going to properly take care of these humans then Matthew trusted Izak to do so.
𝗦𝗘𝗡 ●・○・●・○・●・○・●・○・●・○・●・○・●
Sen clutched the wound at his side, shutting his eyes tightly to brace himself. He was vulnerable, a small rabbit hiding in a foxhole, and he had never experienced a pain such as this. It tore across his body like fire, and he groaned as he kicked himself further under the table. He opened his eyes to see that the human he injected was beginning to experience the first effects. The fentanyl had made her vision glaze, her movements like treading through molasses. She would not be an issue for anyone soon, but even he couldn't count her completely out.
A flash of dark magic vibrated through his bones, and he shivered as he watched Matthew's attempt at freeing the vampire. Of course, it failed, as most of their strategies had, but with the time so close to midnight, he couldn't see their efforts wasted. Even if the effort was a being he avoided at all cost. Sen gritted his teeth and slipped out from under the desk, edging closer to the vampire prince who was darn near quivering with anticipation. Despite his destroyed and dethroned body, he could sense that the vampire wanted to be out for more reasons than just freedom, and as Elio and Matthew worked to keep the others at bay, Sen pulled himself up close to the cage and reached out toward the lock.
"Such a shame your kind can't bleed like that on a regular basis," Izak said to him, and Sen ignored him. The other's eyes were piercing and animalistic, and he wondered if Sen would be his first target. He didn't know what the others had done to him, and he wasn't sure how the vampire would mingle with the chaos in whichever haphazard way he pleased. His next words were cloying. "I could clean you up, doctor. Make you new."
"Do you want out of the cage or not, Vörös?" Izak snickered as Sen used whatever magic he could muster. He was exhausted, but he heard the lock click open. The door swung open, and he collapsed backward as Izak stepped out of the cage.
𝗜𝗭𝗔𝗞 ●・○・●・○・●・○・●・○・●・○・●・○・●
Blood. Blood. Blood.
Matthew's blood.
All of it called out to him like the songs of a thousand sirens, and he was but a lonely, stranded sailor. The scents were blurring together, saccharine and heady and euphoric. This is what it meant to be a vampire, and even an ancient relic like himself could spend six thousand years and never conquer the primal need for it. He was glad he gave in to the human's attack or he would have missed out on all this fun. Elio's face was scrunched beautifully as he played white knight. Sen at his feet was a delight he never thought he needed but wanted, and then Matthew.
His focus swiveled to the demon, and somewhere far, far away, he could have sworn he heard Etta James singing At Last. He had never seen the demon so…so destroyed. Vulnerable. Pained. Harrowed. He had tried to save him with his feebled magic, and Izak had gripped the bars of his cage in rapt interest as Matthew played hero. In another circumstance, he may have groveled at the other man's feet by now, caring for his wounds the best way he knew how.
But there was something offputting about this situation, and it namely meant that the humans had their fun turning Matthew into their personal pin cushion and not him! What the fuck!? He already had a score to settle with these insects, but the game only intensified. He licked at his lips and glanced down at Sen. What a pathetic deity this one was and always had been, and he reached down to grab the collar of his shirt to fling him aside and out of the way. It was unceremonious, maybe a bit harsh, but the better alternative was keeping him in range in case the humans decided to counterattack. He also took note that the magic of the place had severely lowered his strength, but compared to the others and the fact that these humans appeared unarmed, he supposed he wouldn't have much trouble.
He smiled wickedly toward Elio. "Matthew looks useless, so I suppose it's up to me to finish the job. How many are left?"
𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗢 ●・○・●・○・●・○・●・○・●・○・●・○・●
Elio’s eyes widened for a moment as he saw Sen flung off to the side, still processing that the deity had been shot and Matthew had set off a magical bomb of sorts. He could feel tunnel vision settling in, ears ringing as he found himself lost for a split second in the haunting familiarity of the situation.
Matthew and him were trying to escape… He had flung humans against a wall to protect their group... They had their metaphorical backs against a wall again, but this time Elio wasn’t even as useful. All of it was too similar to the alternative timeline when Elio had also assisted with a rescue mission— the very event that had been the catalyst in his fall.
The deity barely registered Izak was talking to him at first, giving the other a confused look that quickly morphed into defeat. Death was part of life, as much as the deity avoiding being involved himself. He refused to give an order to kill, but it still felt like one as he aggressively called back, “Stop fucking around and help,” while rushing to check on Matthew’s state before checking on Sen as well.
𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗧 ●・○・●・○・●・○・●・○・●・○・●・○・●
Izak was so utterly frustrating when he spoke. But Matthew still felt relief when the he stepped out of the cage because the vampire knew exactly what he had to do and there was still that small part of him that knew that he -- that they were safer now.
Blue eyes darted briefly to Sen before they shifted back to Elio and Izak. The deity looked lost for a moment, certainly because of everything around them, but they had more important things to worry about now. Matthew's eyes were fixed on Izak when Elio finally moved over to check on him and he swiftly dismissed the deity, not wanting to miss a moment of Izak's next move nor wanting to appear too vulnerable in front of everyone else in the room.
"Just kill them all," he rasped, making the order clear where Elio would not. "There are more outside."
𝗦𝗘𝗡 ●・○・●・○・●・○・●・○・●・○・●・○・●
Sen was spinning. The room around him felt dark and desolate, and a cold numbness ensnared his body. Was he dying? Is this how all those humans felt as they were slowly being eaten away by their wounds and illnesses? He expected it to be scarier, to have his heart race in his throat at impending death, but it was strangely freeing.
He closed his eyes when he saw Izak reach down toward him. He should have known that the vampire would not consider him a comrade, and if he so pleased, Izak could very well end everyone in this room. However, his shirt ripped and startled him, and the next thing he knew, he was free falling and landed with a heavy thud at the side of the room. Did…did Izak just toss him aside? Sen sighed, not bothering to open his eyes again, and just laid there. He wouldn’t be of any use anymore, even if he had the energy.
He felt Elio near him, and it was enough to let the darkness take over.
𝗜𝗭𝗔𝗞 ●・○・●・○・●・○・●・○・●・○・●・○・●
Stop fucking around. Kill them all.
Izak rolled his eyes playfully. “Would it kill you two to say please,” he joked. He laughed again, though he figured he would be the only one to do so. “Aww, I apologize. I didn’t mean to sound tactless. Rest, my saviors, and let me return my gratitude.”
He leapt into action, knocking into the first human that was struggling to get up. He pushed them back into the wall and dug his fangs into their jugular viciously, his hissing growls tuning out the weak cry as they bled out. He didn’t bother feeding from them despite their taste being sweet victory.
The second human was treated no better. He recognized his smell, remembered all the bullets to his leg, and Izak kicked them in the chest, dropping him to the floor. If he had his strength, it probably would have stopped his heart, and he grabbed the man by the arm and began to drag him to the cage. No amount of wiggling could make the vampire loosen his grip. He threw him in and shut the door. Turning to Elio, he smiled wickedly, and the blood that coated his face and neck only made it much more so. “I’ll return for him later.”
He finished off the one asleep with another slash to the throat, and on to the last ones. He hunted them down like rabbits, biting and scratching at their bodies like a wild beast. Their screams echoed through the destroyed building, and he replied to them with the deep, throaty chanting of his mother tongue. He drank in their life until it made him heavy, turned his eyes the brightest crimson, and by the time he returned to the room with the others, he was drenched in blood and seething with savagery. He wanted more. He wasn’t ready yet to stop fighting, and the pounding of his heart felt like a war drum.
He ran a hand over his face and then washed off the blood with a greedy tongue.
𝗘𝗟𝗜𝗢 ●・○・●・○・●・○・●・○・●・○・●・○・●
Elio had just finished checking on Matthew, not at all surprised to be brushed aside, when he realized Sen had slipped unconscious. The deity wasted no further time going to the other's side, worried he was not in much better shape than Matthew at that point. Between the two of them they were now both horribly injured and vulnerable, and Elio found himself feeling like an island-- hardly enough to protect them both. Even if he refused to admit it, it was somewhat of a relief that Izak could all but assure their smooth exit now.
All of this pain and suffering from both parties… All to save Izak Voros.
Elio truthfully had not minded the vampire and even had gotten along with him at times in the past. The other's recent lack of regard for civil order-- and the laws governing their community however had turned things sour. The cherry on top had been Izak and Matthew's own falling out as Izak left town. Elio knew he had a bias wanting to see Matthew experience a natural, healthy relationship-- and that the former deity was no doubt partially to blame for the issues the two individuals seemed to have… But he still couldn't help but think Izak had done Matthew dirty… That he deserved better. And perhaps they both did, if there was any shot the right person could keep someone as chaotic as Izak in line.
Elio's semi-recent car ride with the vampire came to mind and what Izak had revealed about his own mental health. The ironic similarities they shared and yet how they had both approached their parallel issues in entirely different manners… But it had sounded like Matthew had almost come close to being what Izak had needed. If that was still possible… Perhaps with time? Elio wasn't sure… But surely there had be someone who could keep Izak in line… His Sire couldn't have been the only one, could they?
𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗧 ●・○・●・○・●・○・●・○・●・○・●・○・●
It was easy to tell when Izak was finished because that was when the silence after the last bloodcurdling scream stretched out, letting them know that the ancient vampire was probably making his way back to the room they where they unleashed him. Matthew's eyes were following the two deities as Elio tended to the other and he made a ditch attempt at pushing himself up from the floor, even when he knew that it would be for naught.
He hated feeling so weak and helpless, and yet he was still too proud to accept aid. The fallen deity found himself slumping back down to the floor when Izak entered the room again, this time covered in blood and, oh, what a sight he was to behold. Matthew's eyes darted briefly towards Elio and by all accounts of logical thinking, even he could tell that he needed help and it only made sense that Izak would have to be the one to help him.
"Let's get out of here. The sooner we are rid of this place the better," he gritted out, his chest rising and falling as he tried to even out his breathing despite the pain.

Peter Montgomery at RWW:
If there’s anything the MAGA movement loves, it’s a rally with a bunch of speakers who can be counted on to blend “anti-wokeness,” conspiracy theories, Christian nationalism, and hero-worship of Donald Trump. The latest assemblage, traveling under the name of Rescue the Republic, will grace the National Mall in Washington, D.C. on Sunday, Sept. 29, with the stated mission of mobilizing Americans to save the republic and western civilization itself from “a conglomerate of industrial complexes.”
The speaker lineup includes Trump booster Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., Sen. Ron Johnson, Turning Point USA’s Charlie Kirk, Moms for Liberty’s Tiffany Justice, Pizzagate promoter Jack Posobiec, Former Rep. Tulsi Gabbard, anti-feminist public intellectual Jordan Peterson, anti-vaccine activist Del Bigtree, and journalist Matt Taibbi. Also speaking is #WalkAway founder Brandon Straka, who was sentenced to three years of probation for his role in inciting the mob that attacked the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6. [...] Rescue the Republic claims to represent a “rebel alliance” of people “of every culture, creed, and ideology” who “are putting politics aside” to “secure peace and freedom.” Libertarian Party chair Angela McArdle is listed as a founder of the group, the latest iteration of a coalition of “COVID-19 dissidents” that rallied against vaccine requirements as “Defeat the Mandates.” They later organized a right-left coalition against U.S. aid to Ukraine under the banner, “Rage Against the War Machine,” which is holding a rally on Saturday.
This weekend’s Rescue The Republic is a motley crew of far-right activists and anti-vaxxers.

I love the whole concept with Amelia/Amy Pond and relate to it so much.
First off, it does have a fairytale feel to it, and I just love that.
This odd funny man crashing into your backyard, running inside to eat all your food, looking around your room before promising to return and suddenly leaving.
And you sit out there, and you wait. Because he is going to come back for you, right?
Well, he doesn’t. And you just have to live with the fact you saw this madman and no one believes you. He’s never gonna come save you.
And I relate to that plot so much! When I was much younger, probably the same age as Amelia, I had watched maybe one or two episodes of Doctor Who(it was the tenth Doctor!) I didn’t understand any of it, all I knew was that this wonderful man traveled in a blue box and that he could’ve potentially saved me from the shitty life I was living.
I thought the Doctor was real and I waited for him to eventually appear in my fairytale backyard and save me. But he never did. And I eventually grew up and realized he was just some character in a TV show I never watched.
I don’t know what the point of this rant was. In conclusion I love Amy Pond.
