Percy really just has never been allowed to mourn. Anything or anyone. Hopefully now he has but it's just so fucked up that he spent all his childhood being forced to move on quickly every time the things he held dear were taken from him, and then to have the adults in his life treat him as selfish when his mind reacted to it.

so the Titan's Curse was always my favourite book in the PJO series. so many of my favourite characters were introduced, more in-depth Thalia content, Zoë, the Di Angelos, Rachel...man, I have so many feelings.

I cried for Bianca, I knew it was coming but it still hit so hard to read it again. and I'm currently trying not to sob in the living room in front of my roommates for Zoë :'))

I can't wait to continue this saga and read the new book. my heart is as full as it is hurting for these wonderful characters, and younger me is happy to be back in this little word-world. so very excited for the series ₊˚⊹
