Not much of a question, but i really enjoy the format of your posts. Short, objective reviews of semi-obscure games. keep it up! could you post video as well maybe? that'd be nice.

Thanks for the compliment! Reviews/write-ups are a big part of what I do here, but I do try to cover well-known games as well as the obscure. My method for arcade games is essentially go alphabetically down the list of whatever games I have available to me, year by year. If a game has something that I think can be of interest, I'll do something with it--whether it's throwing some graphics out there or even writing about it. It just so happens that there are a lot of games out there that never achieved widestream attention.

I'm unlikely to ever do videos, and there are a couple reasons for that. The biggest is time. To do videos, I would have to record videos, and not every emulation program can do that (I have no special hardware for recording here); then there's the matter of editing--because if you want to watch a whole game in action, there are lots of options on YouTube. The amount of time for those two is pretty prohibitive in my current position where I do all this in my downtime from a regular job. Still working on that whole lottery thing, though...

ok i'm looking at the synopsis of the 1989 version and haha it totally matches up, everything is coming back to me. i definitely saw it younger than i initially thought

i think this movie was one of my first exposures to like the concept of racism. like for my conscious life up until then i had lived in tiny unincorporated villages (like most of them weren't even on maps) in central wisconsin with no one who wasn't white and i don't remember hearing someone say anything directed at a race or ethnicity so someone saying someone was a devil cause of the color of their skin was genuinely baffling to 7 y.o. me
