fi looked up when she heard a very familiar voice speaking. "sammy." she said quietly, eyeing the other for a moment because it had definitely come as a surprise to see the other in the bathroom of a restaurant in huntsville. "are you okay?" she asked kindly to the other. something didn't seem right so fi was going to be kind and ask.

Standing outside the restrooms, Sammy couldn’t help but pause to look herself over in the mirror. Running a hand along the black dress, perfectly snug against her body as the questions ate away at her. What was she doing wrong? Was it her? Shaking a head, a heavy sigh escape as a couple tears trickled down her cheek. “Shit,” she muttered under her breath as she heard the door to one of the restrooms open, quickly wiping away the tears. “Just managed to get something in my eye,” she quickly spoke out, despite knowing how ridiculous it sounded.

However she was a happy little missy living at the outskirts of town tending to her bees. That's something she misses living on a ship now... besides grass and flowers and trees... she misses her bees and the fresh honey she would make.

so. justice!!!!! they're a french electronic band consisting of gaspard auge (left) & xavier de rosnay (right)!

they first started making music together in 2006 and released "we are your friends", a remix of "never be alone" by simian, and went on to release "waters of nazareth" - which was included on their debut album "†" in 2007!!!

after that they've released two other albums, "Audio, Video, Disco." in 2012 and "Woman" in 2016!! they've done live albums too but. i don't know all that much about them jwheebhshehshr

ANYWAYS they're coming back with an album & tour next year so im really really really really really really excited about it!!!!!!

but the guy had been pissing him off the entire night. bothering girls and just being a general asshole. he'd had enough and hell, he wasn't one to pass up on an opportunity. how ophelia even knew where he was is a mystery. maybe she knew his patterns now . . . knew that he'd eventually come home. somehow she'd known and when he'd seen her come running he wondered if he was dreaming. but the pain had snapped him from that thought. no, he was very much awake. her arms wrap around his larger frame, helping him keep on his feet. ' why did you come ? ' her words came so easily, like she didn't even need to think about it. and for the first time in a long time, something scares him.

his pained expression flashes away for just a brief moment, revealing surprise. but it lasts all but a millisecond. ❛ tch. ❜ he tries not to lean his entire weight against her, knowing she wouldn't be able to carry him . . . but her presence is helpful nonetheless. ❛ just get me back to the apartment. i can take of myself from there. ❜

Mitama laughs, raising her arm to hide it behind her sleeve. It has been enough time that she forgot how endearing it was to hear Ophelia talk of fate as if it was not a horrid burden. "I can only imagine what machinations the fates might weave to transpire tonight to push your star even higher into the sky."

Mitama lowers her arm, humming thoughtfully to herself. She spins the glass by its stem and watches how the movement causes the drink to bubble and hiss. "My night has certainly been..." filled with things she would rather avoid. "eventful thus far. I would not say no to a little more peace."

She takes a sip of the drink and only wrinkles her nose a little when it fizzes under her nose. She takes her friend's brooch and takes a second to admire it (so that Ophelia does not assume she does not appreciate it's splendor) before tucking it away. "Well, why must you part from it so soon, then?"

Mitama hooks an arm around Ophelia's and giggles. "Fate need learn patience / for I am claiming up time / a dance, if you will? After the drinks, of course."

"Flight test number 27 is arguably, a success!" The excitement radiating off of the mechanic was perhaps a bit much considering their current prototype was lying in a slightly smoldering crumple of metal and gears still trying to function properly, but failing. Even the mint green seelie hovering by them seemed to think so with how it circled Ophelia's head before hovering over the mess.

"The flight was successful! It's just...the landing that needs some work. I think if I change the angle of the engines that could help." Looking over their shoulder as the seelie bounced around energetically, the gasp that left Ophelia was almost a minor shriek. "Oh! I'm so sorry! I didn't realize someone else would be out here! Are you okay? No sparks or metal hit you...right?"

The night sky always looked more impressive at sea. It was the sky Ràn knew best, the one she had seen all her life. Dark as ink, twirling strangely into the water as if the earth and the sky was only one. The stars were reflected in the waves, like little lights floating in the depth. 

She always had a soft spot for pirates, and she had the softest spot for Captain Redd. Maybe that was why she cupped her chin in her hand, and pressed a kiss on her lips. Sailors were strange creatures, they loved her despite her anger and her violence, they kept returning through storms and whirlpool. How strange indeed, but how beautiful too. The kind of devotion only a Goddess could truly appreciate, and reward with a rare, precious gift like this.

97 - How good is your characters sense of direction? Do they oftentimes get lost or are they good at finding their way around?

jude - he's defintely the kind of guy to get lost. he'd be too lazy to open up maps and would just guess, but in a confident kind of way that makes you believe he knows where he's going... that is, until you have been lost for 20 minutes and still not at the destination 💀

lyra - terrible sense of direction! never pays attention to where she is going, but she relies on google maps religiously so ultimately she never actually DOES get lost. until her phone runs out of battery ofc!

ophelia - they find the world confusing so get lost easily JBGDJKDG she will turn one corner and completely forget the direction that she came from. usually she leaves the directions to lyra.

ren - he's got a super good sense of direction!!! he's very observant so he easily spots landmarks or 'breadcrumbs' so to speak so even without his phone he can find his way around (although phone is preferred of course) 😎
