The Dental Roots offers the newest and most advanced mini-dental implant techniques and dental implant procedures for your replacement in Delhi, Gurgaon, India. Replace a small tooth using mini dental implants. If your mini dental implant is being used to restore a small front tooth, you will be provided with a temporary tooth and eventually an implant crown once the front tooth implant has fully healed. A painless mini dental implant procedure looks feels and functions like your natural teeth.
Mini dental implants are smaller and narrower than traditional dental implants, typically ranging in diameter from 1.8mm to 3.0mm. They are designed to be used in situations where a traditional dental implant may not be appropriate, such as in patients with limited jawbone density or in areas with limited space. Mini dental implants can be used to support a variety of dental restorations, including crowns, bridges, and dentures. They can also be used to replace a single tooth or multiple teeth. One of the benefits of mini dental implants is that they typically require less invasive surgery than traditional implants, which can result in a shorter recovery time and less discomfort for the patient. They can also be less expensive than traditional implants.
However, it is important to note that mini dental implants may not be suitable for all patients, and the decision to use them should be made on a case-by-case basis by a qualified dental professional. Additionally, while mini dental implants can be effective for many patients, traditional dental implants may still be the preferred option in certain cases.

Hi so your post about losing adult teeth popped up and if you don't mind giving advice please say, when I was told I needed one pulled my first reaction was people will be revolted when they kiss me idk maybe at least rambling will help even if it's a void
Hey there!
So like. I'm kind of the worst person to go to for advice. But I'ma keep it real with you anon. The people who are worth kissing? They won't give a shit that you're missing a tooth. If they do they aren't worth the energy.
When I lost two of my teeth I was so embarrassed and felt hideous I'm not gonna lie. Everyone loves straight white teeth, and here I am with a mouthful of ugly. It felt like a personal failure, like it was physical proof of incompetence and letting my mental illness win. But u know what? We just keep trying. Best time to start brushing your teeth consistently was 10 years ago. Second best time is today.
I promise you, you aren't less of a person if you're missing teeth. Your smile is beautiful because it comes from happiness. Be gentle with yourself. Keep smiling, bc ain't anyone else got your unique smile. And if anyone gives you shit for missing a tooth, that's their rudeness to unlearn and it isn't your problem. No one naturally has perfect teeth. Don't stretch for the unattainable. Just do your best until it becomes your normal.
#i hope this was helpful#im very shy about my smile bc im missing teeth#but we stay silly and we forgive ourselves and try to do better#i cant regrow my lost teeth and replacing them is very expensive#but i can be kind to myself as i get back into consistent hygiene

My brain has decided not to let me think too hard about baby Calico Jack spending 12 hours a day at brothel daycare lest we start psychoanalyzing or God forbid having emotions about the frat boy pirate
#i tried to picture like. 8 year old Jack with half his teeth missing and his knees scraped up#and the image lasted for like 3 seconds before being forcibly replaced by static#hes not allowed to be any younger than 22 ever actually#2pm in the morning

Do u have a knives tag/post? Woulf like to c urs:3
not of my personal collection! frankly they're mostly nothing special they're almost all wusthof brand from the kit I bought when I started culinary school last year. my roll that I take places with me is green waxed canvas w brown leather it was a birthday gift from my sister it's very pretty from here. I have an 8" French knife/chefs knife, a 4" paring knife, a 6" prep knife, a very small tourne/birds beak knife (maybe 3"?), and a bunch of other miscellaneous tools in there (microplaner, measuring spoons, melon ballers, honing rod, offset spatula etc) PLUS. my baby my pride and joy my custom birthday knife kindly funded by my grandmother
of them all I would say the tourne knife was the most unexpectedly useful? If you're blanching and peeling tomatoes or other fruits or trying to take bruises or eyes out of potatoes or do other small fiddly tasks that require a certain amount or torque. I would look into one. plus they're silly little guys
#odhran.txt#i mostly really didnt want to lose the roll and my two soecial knives (the custom one and my 6 in prep knife#HIGHLY recommend btw.#the rest of it would be a kick in the fucking teeth but i could replace it. it would just be $1000#maybe ill post a kit tour sometime!!!#again its nothing special they're nearly all basic kitchen tools#but i do love my kit dearly#I'm missing a couple pieces like my tiny offset spatula. i should get s new one. and make sure the big carving knife gets back in there#before i start meat fab this fall#anyway. sorry for rambling its 4:46 am and i love my knives#odhran gets mail#anon#blades

Just sending love you way because you're an awesome artist and it's amazing how you're trying to think through how the wastelands au would work. <3<3<3<3<3<3<3
THANK YOU SO MUCH !!!!!! honestly i love researching for aspects of this au !! i spent an entire shift at work looking up the old west frontier and agriculture and trains and mechanics and cowboys. i briefly considered emailing the staff from rdr2 on how they did their research. i still might. is playing rdr2 a viable source of research for the wild west 1860-1900
if i genuinely get into mechanics/robots i think this may be a little unhealthy.
#if you guys wanna see some cool stuff (body horror/injury warning):#harold gillies was the ”father“ of modern plastic surgery and used it for soldiers who were mutilated by war#he managed to recreate an entire missing jaw!! its very impressive!!#i couldnt find out if that soldier could still speak. or if the replacement jaw had teeth. but its very nifty to see

//i watched "the list" last night and cartman says craig has fucked up teeth, and i know cartman says a lot of nasty things that aren't really accurate, but my lil fucked-up-teeth-having-and-loving ass wants so badly for that one thing in particular to be true 💙
#misc :: ( ooc )#//''can't he get braces?''#//spoken as someone whose mom always pressured him to take better care of his teeth so he could get braces#//but who did not want them at all and has never gotten them in all 27 years of his life... NO!!! 😊#//if you can't handle craig at his snaggle-toothed overbite you don't deserve him at his piercing blue eyes#//i just LOVE characters with imperfections especially when it comes to dental stuff#//tweek in his older verses is missing a few teeth due to his meth mouth#//he never gets them replaced either bc he embraces his imperfections and the signs that his body has been lived in#//similarly he never gets tattoos to cover up his various scars#//characters who don't just embrace but ADORE their imperfections got me frothing at the mouth t b f h

.....nahhhhh you could totally lose your palatine bone, your hyoid (technically classed as a head/neck bone, and so long as the bone loss is atraumatic....), your inferior nasal conchae, your nasal bones, your vomer, and your zygomatic bones and lacrimal bones without instantly dying? Even your maxilla! Those are just your facial bones; they don't form the neurocranium. Losing one ain't gonna kill you. Life's gonna be a bit different - you might lose an eye! - but it'll probably suck less than losing your mandible?
Even in the neurocranium, your parietal bones don't make up the base of your skull. I.e., your brain wouldn't herniate downwards under the influence of gravity and kill you. If you had quick access to medical care and were VERY careful, you could probably survive losing a whole parietal bone? Like, craniotomies and cranioplasty are a thing! You don't insta-die just because you lose a piece of your skull! Especially if all the skin remained magically sealed and there was no risk of infection! If necessary, we'll just stick a replacement skull plate/transplanted bit of bone in nowadays to fully protect your squishy bits!
And if we're classing the skull as multiple bones, the pelvis should be classed likewise. Plenty of people survive losing an inferior pubic rami or even an entire hemipelvectomy!
...I got the occiput so yeah my brain's herniating and I'm dying but. regardless.
I saw this question posed on tiktok, but I think Tumblr would really enjoy it too.
If a fae creature offered to give one million dollars for a bone chosen at random, how many bones would you allow them to take?
Light clarifications; The fae is not the one choosing the bones. The bone is taken at random. Each bone, no matter the size or importance, is worth a full million dollars. You must also declare the exact number first, you can't go bone-by-bone. You either say 2 or you say 10, you can't work your way up to a higher number. The bones are removed instantaneously, and the money is given immediately as well. You will not get in government trouble for acquiring the money.
Tell me in the tags/replies how many bones you'd let the fae take. And as always, reblog for bigger sample size.
#sadly for people wondering in the notes#no your teeth are NOT bones#sorry to disappoint#but uhhh. folks can and do live without particular facial bones and skull bones?#cancer can eat right through that shit!!#you don't just drop dead from losing idk. your hard palate sdfglsdlfgjhsdfgklj#and I'm sorry but losing a vertebrae would not kill you.... especially lumbar!#a Not Insignificant number of folks are out there missing a vertebrae due again to cancer#it's a surgery with high morbidity (i.e. paralsysis/nerve problems/etc) but it's getting better#or sacrectomy! We whip out the whole sacrum if there's chordoma!#most sacrectomy patients retain the ability to walk! so like yeah you wanna get to the hospital quick if you don't want shit to go wrong#but you definitely got a chance!!#even without an immediate surgical replacement like. you might have a total or partial SCI as a result but that's... survivable?
