guys I’m honestly happy that klance didn’t become canon because I love how as a collective group of people we utilize our right to explore what could have been and create the most smoking hot scenarios ever and yes I obviously wanted more of their friendship growing into this bond stronger than anything else in the universe especially since Voltron has teamwork and family as one of their main lessons but that’s more of a development issue all around…ok besides that there’s something about klance where it provides this PERFECT environment for shippers to inhabit and FEAST upon. With klance, there’s a solid, engaging dynamic between the two set up, which is this weird one-sided rivalry that stems from Lance’s insecurity and his need to prove himself of his worth and Keith literally being one of the best pilots for his age but since they’re flung into space and chosen to become child soldiers in this 10,000 year old intergalactic war so they have to work as a team which surprise surprise forces them to put aside their differences and work as a team which is shown a bunch when Keith needs to become a leader and Lance steps up as his right hand and and they have some kinda tender moments that won’t definitely drive shippers into a shipping craze (or worse) SO YEAH you could see why people loved it with all the classic tropes and mutual growth all that schmooze (ALSO THEY KNEW EACHOTHER BEFORE THE MAIN PLOT??? Well maybe not like friends or even acquaintances probably BUT HELLO?????? EVEN MORE SHIT TO EXPAND ON????), and they share multiple scenes that could be interpreted as romantic but there’s no explicit romance. This environment is fucking dripping drenched flash flooded cornered by 1000ft tsunamis in all directions with potential for shipping, so when people saw this relationship between two bros with this sort of homoerotic (IM JOKING. Kinda.) unresolved tension towards each other and the POTENTIAL for a good slow burn rivals to friends to lovers, it was to no one’s surprise that they went APESHIT. Klancers made countless different ways where they get together whether it be pre-Kerberos, post-gettingthefuckoutofearth, the start of the show, the end of the show, after the end of the show, right smack in the middle, anywhere, anytime, for who the fuck knows why just ANY REASON DAMN IT it doesn’t really matter because people were pumping out fanfiction or fan art or any fan media of klance faster than I spit out a raw baby carrot after chewing it for one second and now we’re all wallowing about how it should have been KICK but the thing is that if VLD did KICK all the way to Altea, the production of these beautiful stories that so many people have and still are coming up with about klance kissing in midst of a battle, helping each other with their crippling nightmares, smiling for the stars or some other sad premise, and whatever is nestled in his pulse…just like uhhh the amount of fics like these that go into great detail about Keith and Lance in these random situations that end up with them getting together being produced would go down to some degree because of the fact that if the people’s beloved sharpshooter and samurai had ended up together like we had wanted, and the majority was satisfied with the ending the creators had given, people would have shifted from writing about “How could Lance and Keith get together?” to writing about “What could Lance and Keith do now that they’re together?” And like. There’s nothing wrong with that honestly I would be HYPED if klance was ever canon but there is profound beauty in the way the community is able to create more from less and turn a show that went to shit in the last few seasons shine even brighter than it did at its prime. if you cannot tolerate the idea of Scammers and it is so serious that it stops you from donating, donate to charitable organizations. There are no shortage of reputable organizations to pick from.

If you are super concerned about your payment information being stolen, you should probably relax, because if you're donating directly to almost anyone you're using either Venmo or GoFundMe and the purpose of both platforms is at least in part so that you aren't handing your actual credit card information to anyone but the processing platform, who does not share it with anyone else. I've seen people talking about how they got their CC info stolen by donating to gofundmes. This is not how it happened and at best they are drawing false conclusions.

if you are particularly concerned that your donation won't be used because you're going to donate it to someone who may die suddenly... haven't got great advice for you, but the money will be useful if they don't. if it's that stressful for you, donate to charitable organizations or fundaisers for large groups of people, like families. if someone else is organizing the fundraiser, that also means they can (god forbid) put the money towards helping other people or funeral costs if the person or people they were fundraising for are killed.

What I mean is, Marius was sexually assaulted by The Duchess. That much is obvious. And based on what little we do know of Marius’ life before meeting The Duchess, I imagine that was his first ever “romantic” endeavor. Before Lethica, at least. And like, he loves Lethica. I’m not saying him biting Lethica is the same as sexual assault. Not even remotely. But think of it more as if a stranger walked up to you and kissed you. Yamako: The President is the only person with whom the two of them can be selfish without having to act cool, isn’t she?

Their Fans

Yamako: Yujiro and Aizo, as seen through the filtered lens of Chuutan, are truly the epitome of “perfect idols”. I tried to be extremely conscious of this when I was drawing her MV in order to portray them as perfectly cool as she sees them.

shito: However, from the perspective of Yujiro and Aizo, Chuutan is just one of their many fans. Aizo doesn’t like women, so if she got too close to him, he would inevitably grow to dislike her. Their relationship will not go anywhere, no matter what she does.

Yamako: Yujiro and Aizo put on an act even when they are at school, despite being off work. They are not truly off work when they’re attending school, having to play the role of “idols during their downtime” so that they do not disappoint the fans around them.

shito: That’s probably why Chuutan views them as “perfect idols”, huh? She doesn’t know what they’re truly like, after all.

Their Family (Brothers)

shito: They don’t pay much attention to their family so they don’t take the initiative to converse with their brothers all that often. However, the two of them do trust their brothers from the bottom of their hearts. I guess it’s something like that sense of distance that can be found between family members in general.

Yamako: They have a realistic sense of distance with their families. They don’t encourage each other with simple words, but I think a bond that can be conveyed through the atmosphere, like the one they have, can only be found in families that trust each other. And I’m sure that there is love at the root of the bonds that the two of them have with their families.

Yamako: For Hiyori, oh gosh… (laughs) They don’t express their gratitude nor consolation directly to her, with their intentions peeking out through their not-so-honest sides. For Nagisa, they have shown a tiny glimpse of jealousy with regards to him. For instance, in the anime, when their manager asked Nagisa “Would you like to be an idol?”, this very feeling of theirs surfaced in their response to her of “Why are you scouting a guy like that? Yamako: Minami is mainly an entertainer, so he is not a rival to Yujiro and Aizo, who are both idols. As such, I get the impression that they get along as pure boy friends. shito: From the perspective of Yujiro and Aizo, mona is just like any other idol. mona is trying to catch up to them, but it seems like they don’t see her as a worthy opponent yet.

shito: Despite being respectful to FT4 because they are their seniors, the two of them are eagerly awaiting their chance to surpass them, like “One of these days, we’ll really let you have it!”...

Yamako: FT4 and LIPxLIP sing together in Shin Jidai, though that song itself is close to the settings that FT4 are familiar with. I think LIPxLIP were cool when they were desperately trying to break out of their norm to keep up with FT4. It was nice to see a different side from the usual LIPxLIP.

yknow. 3.2 does imply that had mydei wanted to, he could still just. die. so does that mean hitting his weak spot makes sure he won't be able to come back? and, does it mean if he gets corrupted by the black tide his very soul will also lose its sanity - but not enough to forget to climb out of the river of souls - which is why he needs phainon to kill it for good?

also, does his soul return to his body? what if his body gets blown into smithereens or completely crushed and there's nothing to return to (i mean. one could argue such a case hits his weak spot probably lol)?

how long does this process take? because, 3.2 also made it seem like it takes awhile, but since he managed to fend off nikador for like, days, and he surely must've died a few times during that battle, it implies he fought them nonstop, aka he came back to life instantly. does that mean time doesn't matter in the river of souls? that it can feel like days or years but no time has passed in the real world at all?

what does that project onto the implications that time in amphoreus is generally weird and the flame reaver (most likely) experienced the past and the future at the same time (for lack of better quick way to descibe it)? it seems the nether realm is at least separated from the loop process, given that polyxia remembers her past while calypso (and probably gnaeus) didn't? does that apply to the river as well? if so, has mydei unknowingly met people from previous loops? are the people of styxia even from the loop we're currently going through, or could they be there since the last one?

and that also raises a question I've been wondering about. are there even more than 2 existing loops? let's refer to them as the calypso loop for the previous one and the anaxa loop for our current one. if time is indeed frozen in the nether realm, then did polyxia kill the previous incarnation of thanatos back in the calypso loop? or did that version of thanatos just disappear on their own? she's the only one in the nether world when cas gets there, after all. but we see that castorice didn't need to kill her sister in order to inherit the coreflame. and their conversation - polyxia asking that castorice won't forget her in the next loop - implies that at least those 2 will exist in each one regardless, so at least thanatos's cycle repeats those same 2 loops each time which. given the frozen time implications. is a bit odd, isn't it?

as mentioned polyxia does remember her past life so this implies that at least those two loops are connected, but her fearing that cas will forget her implies that they don't go both ways, if that makes sense? as in, from what we currently know at least, there's a calypso loop -> anaxa loop data retention, but not an anaxa loop -> calypso loop one (or maybe polyxia just said it due to being emotional in that scene. that also makes sense lmao. but bear with me here)

sooooo essentially i think it's less a separate calypso loop and anaxa loop, but combined into the same run. if flame reaver is indeed phainon (and not khaos, which, given that he showed anaxa his memories, means he's probably still kephale in some way) that means he did come from a different run. which means that other characters in the anaxa loop existed in previous runs, but possibly not in the same the way the twins did (as in, they simply didn't have the roles they do now, for some reason. dw i'll get to that). so. i don't think amphoreus resets whenever all coreflames are returned and the demigods befome the new titans. i think it resets after it happens more than once - after the anaxa loop, where phainon, the flame reaver, comes from.

i don't think our anaxa loop chrysos heirs end up becoming the titans - i don't think they existed in the calypso loop at all (aside from castorice of course). the fact the titans still keep the same names through every loop (as we see calypso and polyxia refer to cerces and thanatos by name and separate from themselves) despite it supposedly resetting implies that they are a fixed being, almost like a class in an rpg rather than an actual character, except only one person can equip it at a time which is why you have to kill the previous one in order to become it yourself.

if amphoreus is some kind of experiment, to see if you can recreate a world from memories, then. maybe the creators of this experiment (the organization black swan mentioned...?) simply couldn't extract the right memories from flame reaver!phainon. our current phainon seems to doubt his memories, after all. maybe the black tide is actually a corruption of memories that came from him, as he said (tho not in those words 😩), memories can't create a perfect replication of a whole world. maybe the black tide overtook everywhere else in amphoreus because a previous phainon only got to see okhema. maybe aedes elysiae was a new addition made by the creators of the experiment for the current run, and it got overtaken by the black tide bc it didn't have memories from phainon to back its data up (maybe the flame reaver broke from it bc it was simply a weak spot in the system that he could break through).

is kephale means "head". and kephale essentially holds the memory of the entire world, then. yeah that name makes sense. "khaos" being the name of the previous incarnation of them is very interesting tho, since it means void or chasm, nothingness etc. which can connect to march's current state somehow, too, as black swan described it as nothingness. I've seen ppl say she's cyrene, or that she'll inherit oronyx's coreflame instead of tb, but what if she's related to khaos somehow? (i don't think she IS khaos since iirc the others referred to him with he/him lol but maybe, if i'm wrong abt the 2 loops thing and there ARE more, maybe she was kephale before him...? maybe the messenger had to block her memories because they literally contain an entire world and who knows how that'd affect someone outside the experiment) or what if the hijacking of her mind is like the black tide? if we go by the idea that the black tide is created by gaps in memory, and we know that it can spread and overtake other things, maybe that's simply what is currently happening to her? the mark of kephale is what's used to purify it, too... hmm.
