Night over the plains of Angband. Maedhros, in a cloak stained with dust and blood, creeps toward Eonwë's camp. Madness burns in his eyes: he has come for the last Silmarils. A sword is at his belt, a dagger in his hands. But as he steps to the center of the camp, he finds Maglor before him, wounded and barely standing.
Maedhros: (anxious, but filled with fury) Step aside, brother! One more step, and the Silmaril will be ours! We’ll end this!
Maglor: (swaying but unyielding) No, Maedhros. We’ll end this here and now. But not as you want.
Maedhros steps forward, gripping his dagger, but Maglor blocks his path. Seeing that his brother won’t yield, Maedhros lunges forward, but Maglor draws his sword and parries the blow. Steel rings out.
Maedhros: (angry, shouting in desperation) You don’t understand! We swore an oath, Maglor! If we don’t fulfill it, it will consume us!
Maglor: (rasping with pain, but firm) The oath has already destroyed us. But there will be no more blood for these cursed stones! No more…
Maedhros freezes, seeing his brother, weakened and wounded, barely able to stand. Maglor’s sword trembles in his hand, but iron determination shines in his eyes.
Maedhros: (almost whispering, in disbelief) Why are you doing this?
Maglor: (closing his eyes in pain) Because I love you, brother. And because we deserve peace… some kind of peace.
Maedhros lowers his weapon, unable to resist any longer. He stands, broken, while Eonwë’s guards lift Maglor, taking him away for treatment. Maedhros remains alone amid the darkness of the battlefield.
---
Maglor spends a long time recovering in Eonwë's camp. When his wounds finally heal, he is sent west to the judgment of the Valar. There, Manwë awaits him. The Valar deliberate for a long time before passing judgment.
Manwë: Maglor, son of Fëanor, your repentance is accepted, yet the oath you swore and the blood spilled by your hands cannot be forgotten. There is no place for you among the immortal in Aman. But your exile will not be eternal: you will remain in Númenor until the end of the next age.
Manwë’s voice is gentle, yet unyielding.
Manwë: You shall not return to Middle-earth until its fate is decided. This is the price of your forgiveness.
Maglor nods silently, accepting his sentence. He understands that the Valar have granted him a chance at redemption, though they have taken away his ability to return to the lands he once knew and loved.
---
Númenor, a golden morning. On a shore where the crash of the waves mingles with the sounds of city streets, Maglor stands, gazing at the horizon. He has heard that Maedhros, too, has found his way to these lands and has now come to see him.
Footsteps sound behind him. Maglor turns and sees Maedhros, aged by sorrow but calm. There is none of the madness that was once there.
Maedhros: (with a gentle smile) You were always stronger than I thought, brother.
Maglor: (smiling back, though a shadow of sadness lingers in his eyes) And you were always more stubborn than I could ever imagine.
The brothers embrace in silence, finding comfort in the quiet gesture. Now, they are two exiles, having survived it all: the oath, Morgoth's fall, their pain and their mistakes. And though the way home is closed to them, they still have time. And they have each other.
Maedhros: (softly) What now?
Maglor: (gazing out at the sea) Now? We live as long as we can. And we find meaning in every day we are given.
The brothers remain standing on the shore, looking into the distance. The sea breeze brings the scent of saltwater, and for a moment, it feels as though the future is yet undecided. For both of them, there remains hope—a hope for peace and redemption.

Can I ask a question? I'm like that capslock anon who FELT VERY BAD AND WAS SAD about the Skylar thing 😂 even though to me the many chapters leading up to it were even more distressing than the act. I was experiencing the same anxiety as in a horror movie chase, seeing him undecided and thinking he would do one thing, then another, then asking others, then back to undecided, while just hoping he wouldnt do anything and that someone would interrupt or tell him that's not like him, or, more than anything, that time would run out while he was undecided and that Skylar would just finally leave forever in the meantime 🤣🤣 it was truly terrifying chapters of the wait and those chapters, getting her off and Lily's devastating heartbreak were distressing beyond words, though thankfully the kiss itself turned out like ripping the bandaid.
But I just read how you said that you wouldn't have qualms about having them have sex and as someone for whom this is a simply incomprehensible stance in the middle of romance with characters already pining for each other 😂, I was wondering how that worked on the other side for those not like me, how would you see them coming back from that? Because I don't think they would be where they are when they are right now and it's hard to imagine for me on my own 🤣
If James had slept with Skylar he and Lily would have gotten past it in the exact same way they just did. Casual sexual encounters are what they are, you know? They don't necessarily have to mean anything or carry any weight. Sure, Lily had every right to feel her feelings when she found out about it because she's only human, but she would be the one in the wrong if she continued to hold it against him, and she's too reasonable a person for that. He's single, and he didn't owe her any fidelity, and at the end of the day no real infraction was committed against her. I know you said you find the fingering gross and hard to forgive, and that's fair, but James had really convinced himself that Lily didn't return his feelings. By that logic, is it fair to expect him to never hook up with anyone else?
One other thing I would like to clear up, though, is that in your last anon you said that James "went to aggressively flirting basically just days after doing that to Skylar" and that this had upset you, which again is fair and how you feel, but in the interest of defending my boy I do just want to point out that it took two weeks/14 chapters for him to start flirting with her proper, and that was because Lily basically seduced him on webcam, so I'd say it was an appropriate response, no? Wouldn't it have been worse if he rejected her advance because he felt like he needed a longer period of repentance (for something he shouldn't have to feel sorry about)? If he should feel guilty about anything at all, it should be about letting Skylar believe that she and him were bezzie mates when she really isn't someone he'd want to be friends with.

As above, so below
@luckycavy117 @mothnem @ghost-mantis @kanohivolitakk
“The stars say that in creation, there is destruction. In destruction, there is rebirth. There is no such thing as void; all things are in flux. As above, so below…” Nuju murmured as he gently examined the words that were carved into the walls of the cell with is fingertips. “What ever could that mean?”
“Who cares! It’s not getting us out of here.” Toa Onewa grumbled at his icy cellmate while crossing his arms.
“It’s essentially a message from the past. Whoever was held here before us and carved it felt it was important enough to document while being imprisoned here!” Toa Whenua said excitedly.
“An unknown piece of documentation, almost lost to time. And we are the first to see it in who-even-knows how long!”
“I care.” Nuju said with an exasperated sigh.
Nuju turned to look at Whenua, a look of mild confusion on his face.
“…So does this make you happy?” he asked with a tilt of his head.
“Finding some dusty old writing in a cell?”
“I might be a Toa now, but I will still forever be an archivist at heart.” Whenua chuckled.
“I love this stuff. Graffiti can tell you a lot about a person from a past day and age. Sometimes it could be as simple as ‘remember me, for I was here’ to some ancient helpful piece of advice on how to do a task.”
Nuju nodded, though he didn’t seem nearly as interested as Whenua was.
“…You are weird.” he said with a shake of his head. “So, this writing here, do you actually think it means anything, or is it just nonsense?”
“Well, my theory is that the writer was talking about how a bit of something old can be made into a new object. It might be literal, might be philosophical.” Whenua explained while pointing at the glyphs.
“Maybe musing on their repentance of a past crime?”
“Pfft! Or they were like us and framed by a tyrannical Turaga.” Onewa snickered bitterly. “What a load of good that did them.”
“Hm.” was all Nuju had to say to that.
“But, then why the whole ‘above so below’? Who wrote this, a prophet?”
Nuju shifted around the bars of his cell, trying to get comfortable.
“It all just seems… very philosophical and esoteric for someone who is imprisoned.”
“The phrase ‘as above, so below’ is an ancient quote to describe the idea that what happens in a higher realm or plane of existence either always and or occasionally also happens in a lower realm.“ Whenua answered.
“So they believed in Great Being nonsense.” Onewa sighed. “That poor crazy bastard.”
Nuju listened thoughtfully before shrugging with a slight frown.
“That really doesn’t seem like an important thing to say,” he finally spoke.
After a moment of contemplating the odd writing, Nuju turned to face Whenua.
“So, what about these Great Beings? You don’t actually believe that nonsense, do you?”
“I believe that the ancients believed that they existed. Anything else about the great beings? There’s no documented proof.” Whenua replied while shrugging.
“…And what if Great Beings existed?” Nuju asked, raising an eyebrow in curiosity.
An idea seem to cross Nuju’s mind, but he seemed reluctant to speak, perhaps afraid that Whenua might think him mad.
“Then I owe Nokama 100 widgets.” Whenua chuckled. “She and I got into a debate where I played devils advocate. Then it turned into a bet. In all truth I’m currently undecided on which side to take.”
“I still think the idea of them is stupid. If they were real- why haven’t they bothered to help us?” Onewa snapped.
“Hmph… and here I thought Nokama was a reasonable person.” Nuju muttered with an amused grin.
He then looked at Onewa and sighed.
“If they were real… well, who knows why they haven’t helped us?” Nuju said with an exasperated shrug.
“Maybe they’re simply busy?”
Nuju sat down on the floor and pulled his knees up to his chest.
there was an awkward moment of silence as the Toa of ice let his question hang in the dusty air of the prison they were trapped in.
“Hey, I’m sure we’ll get out of here. It’ll… just take some figuring out.” Whenua softly reassured his fellow Toa brother as he knelt down next to him.
Nuju hummed softly while tracing the carving.
“…I honestly miss being a seer.” he muttered, speaking more to himself than to anyone else in particular.
He raised his head to stare at the carvings on the wall.
“I used to spend so much time studying and interpreting prophecy, and now… look at me.”
Nuju sighed defeatively.
“Uh guys? The Vahki guards are approaching the trapdoor.” Onewa pointed out, gesturing to the ceiling grate.
and just like that, the trapdoor opened-

God is keeping how things will 🧶 unwind, moving forward, close to HIS 🦺 vest.
Season 4 just wrapped up, and it is MUST-SEE 👀 TV.
2024 is a time of government sanctioned acts of 😈 evil.
Why is such treachery ⚖️⬆️, created behind closed doors, TOLERATED?
Conclave (scroll further down for MORE 🎬🍿coverage) was a powerful indictment about making shady, sinful deals behind closed doors, to acquire posts of authority.
ALL temporary holdings onto power are soon relinquished. Christ's return will turn the current "leadership" 🎪🎪 circus tents UPSIDE DOWN.
Scripture (1 Samuel 8) clearly states that it would be better NOT to have kings that reject God's ultimate Authority.
Samuel warned the Israelites that asking for a godless king is essentially rejecting God's rule, and would lead to oppression and injustice from the 👹👺 tyrants they choose; that having God as their leader is BETTER than having a human king that is arrogant towards God, like ALL the other nations did.

Resurrecting Prioritism, why?
I am really confused why in 2024, some people within the Lausanne Movement still write books, articles and blogs as if the movement is still undecided on the issue between 'prioritism' and integral mission. Consider the following:
The conversation, however, has progressed since the Lausanne Covenant of 1974. In 2010, at Cape Town in Africa, during Lausanne's 3rd global congress, the resulting document affirmed by the participants include the following lines on the section of mission:
"All our mission must therefore reflect the INTEGRATION of evangelism and committed engagement in the world, both being ordered and driven by the whole biblical revelation of the gospel of God. ‘Evangelism itself is the proclamation of the historical, biblical Christ as Saviour and Lord, with a view to persuading people to come to him personally and so be reconciled to God…The results of evangelism include obedience to Christ, incorporation into his Church and responsible service in the world… We affirm that evangelism and socio-political involvement are BOTH PART OF OUR CHRISTIAN DUTY. For both are necessary expressions of our doctrines of God and humankind, our love for our neighbour and our obedience to Jesus Christ… The salvation we proclaim should be transforming us in the totality of our personal and social responsibilities. Faith without works is dead.’ ‘INTEGRAL MISSION is the proclamation and demonstration of the gospel. It is not simply that evangelism and social involvement are to be done alongside each other. Rather, in integral mission our proclamation has social consequences as we call people to love and repentance in all areas of life. And our social involvement has evangelistic consequences as we bear witness to the transforming grace of Jesus Christ. If we ignore the world, we betray the Word of God which sends us out to serve the world. If we ignore the Word of God, we have nothing to bring to the world.’ We commit ourselves to the integral and dynamic exercise of ALL DIMENSIONS of mission to which God calls his Church. God commands us to make known to all nations the truth of God’s revelation and the gospel of God’s saving grace through Jesus Christ, calling all people to repentance, faith, baptism and obedient discipleship. God commands us to reflect his own character through compassionate care for the needy, and to demonstrate the values and the power of the kingdom of God in striving for JUSTICE and PEACE and in CARING FOR God’s CREATION."
Quoted in Cape Town Commitment, Part I, Section 10, B)
---------------------------------------
And so, the genius of this document is that it shifted from the 'either-or' hierarchical configuration to a 'both-and' spectrum. Why bring back the issue all over again to the dichotomous problematic of which is more important: evangelism or social concern?
A question of priority rooted in dualistic thinking that has been the parameter of much of the missiological discourse from the Western hemisphere. Chris Wright, in a recent Lausanne podcast, has this to say about this issue:
"Primacy of evangelism still tends to mean that evangelism is really the thing and everything else is not just secondary but somehow out there a little bit peripheral, the extra stuff that Christians are to do. Sadly that debate still goes on. I do from time to time just got a bit weary of being asked the same question that was being asked back in the 1970s and 1980s, 'which do you think is more important, evangelism or social action?' But which is more important, drinking or breathing? Well, you have to do both or you’ll die. They are different, distinct, but they are part of the integrated holistic system within the human body. In that complex system, you got multiple realities, but they are all essentials, all being held together. You don’t ask which is more important except in some circumstances. Say for example if somebody is bleeding on the street, you got to stop the bleeding, it is more important than giving them anything else. And so I get frustrated when people still keep coming back to this desire to taxonomize or prioritize and say what is more important."
Good thoughts as always. Which only add to my curiosity: why bring confusion, especially for the upcoming generation of the Lausanne Movement, to what the Majority World delegates of Lausanne in '74 strived so hard to make their friends from the Western world to come to understand as a fuller grasp of what it means to bear witness to the breadth and depth of the Gospel of Christ?
And also, if we are really affirming the contributions of the Majority World leaders in Lausanne, at the very least MENTION them, celebrate their contributions, even at the risk of admitting that their Western counterparts needed a bit more time to process the deficient missiology they thought was the fullness of the Gospel. Or just simply, why not include photos that show how Majority World voices were right at the center of the landmark development (read as change, shift, or even better repentance) in terms of evangelical missiology?

DA2 Act 2 Polls
Dragon Age 2 Polls
See quest and choice descriptions from Dragon Age Wiki/Keep below
The viscount tells Hawke that his son Saemus has decided to convert to the Qun and fears that this is being used to trigger a political crisis. Hawke goes to the Qunari compound to investigate, with the Arishok telling Hawke that Saemus has converted of his own volition, adding that a letter preceded them to arrange a meeting with Saemus. He suspects foul play from Petrice, so Hawke goes to the Chantry to find out.
At the Chantry, Hawke discovers that Saemus has been murdered. Depending on whether Hawke supported Ser Varnell or not, either Petrice may attempt to frame Hawke for the murder, resulting in a fight with her zealots, and Petrice being killed by the Qunari, or Hawke may help Petrice frame the Qunari, resulting in a fight with the Qunari.
Didn't side with Petrice
Petrice received no aid from Hawke in her plans to vilify the Qunari of Kirkwall.
If Hawke sides with the Qunari during Offered and Lost, Petrice is next seen in the quest Following the Qun. She murders Viscount Marlowe Dumar's son, Saemus Dumar, who has converted to the Qun. She claims that Saemus had repented and returned to the Maker when he was murdered. Petrice attempts to frame Hawke, but Elthina does not believe her. She says that her actions diminish the Maker, and that a Chantry council will determine her fate. However, moments later, Petrice is killed by a Qunari archer, an act of retaliation for killing Saemus.
2. Sided with Petrice
With Hawke's help, Petrice was able to blame the death of the Viscount's son on the Qunari.
If Hawke sides with Ser Varnell during Offered and Lost, there is an option to support Petrice and her zealots. Qunari attack the Kirkwall Chantry. Petrice survives and the murder of Saemus is pinned on the Qunari, but the Grand Cleric will strip Mother Petrice of her title, saying that she "failed to maintain the solemn dignity" of her position. After Hawke leaves the Chantry, Petrice tells Hawke that she will lend her aid when needed.
If Petrice survives the events of Act 2, Hawke can meet her in the chantry during Act 3. She tells Hawke that she no longer holds the title of Mother, and she is gathering support for a schism within the Chantry.

I cannot shake off feeling my parents, in StupidWays, are still trying 2 paint me as “the bad guy.” I feel somethings now telling them what’s wrong, whileThey nod heads 2moveOn, & in spirit of family counseling, complete apathy, cuz theyFeelJustified.-indicativeOfTroubledKidShow-
-I’m having trouble recalling/keeping track of things, simple as keeping phone on me, 2cover aVariable, b/c of brain hackers/meds. I feel like in aHaze. On an unrelated note, I feel grip of what’s like tentacles enveloping me/at veryLeast thought blocking me.(physical sensation)-
- when brain hackers do something “with me,” or we do something at same time, I cannot process what I’m doing and “visual” looking ocd symptoms occur because I don’t “know” not doubt, what I did the first time-
- I’m feeling someone’s tiredness, petty laughter, and gestures, for lack of a better word-
- I’ll try to keep iWatch on me to cover all variables. Maybe it has a mic that someone can listen into. Then I don’t have to get irritated for not having my phone on me during an inopportune and abrupt conversation where parents instigate.-
- Dad had phone in his master bathroom during 2:15 PM and 2:20 PM on 4/4/24. He claims I’m “accusing” him of things, a burst/eruption type/child whining reaction/, when I ask him where my tea set(for green tea, weirdos!-Japanese stone style).-
- my parents & troubled kids show are out to get me. They want to make me come off as a hoarder when I’m drugged 4 the truth & brain hacking is occurring. I buy things, usually innovative things that are always made in China, like a rotating swivel clamp on keyboard tray.-
- because they’re one of a kind and took a lot of searching to find, I’ll buy more than one if in case they never sell it again. Sometimes I buy things that look like a good idea.-
-Japanese stone green tea set, looked like good aesthetically stimulating way 2 drink tea insteadOfCoffee. A little bell & whistle 2 make tea more attractive. But then something happens like sedation, & I stop caring to pursuing interests or come down to Y bother w/tea?& forget.-
- then on a day like today, where I wasn’t being insomniac, I get “motivation” 2 take out tea set which I suddenly “remember” at a time when I cannot think/remember. I don’t get the methodology with this, or Y troubled kids show behaves secretly. They no they’re wrong&want2hide.-
-the next evolution of troubled kids show mentality is probably square out or clear out the kinks in the family and go “ta da” look what we did. You realize, after all this, it’s time for goodbyes all around?!-
- with the troubled kids show, This is like 18 yrs ago when I was innocent, and they undecided 2 show how good I am, and then plan2 tell me afterwards. The eyes of The God makes me see ur stupidity. When will you repent or acknowledge a method, tech, thinking that doesn’t work?!-
- U fools in orchestrators are so h*ll bent on making me in2 some1 who has 2B mind controlled 2 saying “I love you” or as a frustrated child who doesn’t laugh, u don’t realize I’m preoccupied w/ur stupidity. Now those on phone are asking it’s okay 2 laugh, right? EffectsOfLibel.-
- & then people investigating troublesome show keeps having me trip in2 a delusional state, where they’re talking 2 selves and gettting mad at me while I’m paralyzed. When the tentacles reach, I’m some1 else’s interpretation. Thanks mom/dad for letting USA harvest my organs.-
The thing astonishing me is my dad, after bathroom argument closes door & locks it when I leave him. He asks me if I’m accusing him (like we’re in court) 4 asking where’s my stone tea mugs. I ask my mom and she gets irritated. Not an ounce of remorse, just spite.
- when ur parents have nerve 2 say they feel worse than U, when U find urself in trouble, always know its a blatant lie. Its nastiest thing they can tell me, when I’m experiencing this nonsense w/ stalkers, the school, the growing strange Albany like youth, army, govmt…
-I’m receiving therapy/meds 4 talking about truth & b/c prissy Caucasian’s w/ sticks up a*ses, in coming up w/ protocols over simple action, want 2 do their side projects. While that, I’m hearing demonic songs in head. What kind of delusion is that? Let’s Make the ill sicker?-
- these retards have so much data to come up with random cr*p to spread their horny a*s ideas, their uncleanly ways (literally telling people it’s ok to be a slob getting poop on hands or scratching bulls because of random itch, which shouldn’t happen if u shower)- nasty retards-
- idiots in orchestrators no my respect, 4 not letting a rosary be thrown carelessly, or not letting a Bible hang from a table. 4 that, U want 2 use profanity 2 make it seem like I? Need 2 let loose & live a little? 4 this outright defiance, believe there is a h*ll.-
- my parents don’t know the depth to which this occurring and the troubled kids show and everyone else manipulates two immigrants for their side projects. You think this would happen with an adventurous British blonde or the stereotypical angry black woman? -
- & my parents are taking 2 selves, saying things that hint at or start off w/1 word like: how much more do we have to take?!(Dialect expressions) 1 word my dad slipped inReference, his hiding of face, snowballing of his forceful:then controlled movements, all indicate problems -
- the orchestrators hate God so much, after several opportunities 2 escape, they now want 2spread their lazy/excessively horny/unkempt , disrespectful to God & others type, behavior thru symbol of my face 4their antichrist. RestOf U Just looking4excusesToWatUConsiderLettingLoose.
------
retarded mom&dad start another nonsensical conversation from 7:50 pm or 8 pm, till 8:20 PM on 4/4/24. 1 of their wiseEndIdeas 2makeMeLookCrazy, or 2 doubt a troubled kids show theme, or promote the theme 2 make me come off delusional. Retards I wouldn’t hesitate 2throw inJail.
STUFF THAT WASN'T IN TWEETS. What that random argument was about? Nonsense. It's the kind of thing that happens to get me riled up, to justify someone else's instigation and my response to it. Over a teapot, who said what, what was said, and then however I will manage with the corner kitchen space to put two water heaters. Now what could you people be hearing and seeing. The angry shizo raising his voice while you're watching him in a delusional situation. Sick F*ks all around. But ur so sick, it's not going to sick in. Moving on, as this is no longer worth my time, that's the kind of thing that happens in my situation. Every day, every month, every year, year after year. America's problems are NOT my problems, when you couldn't respect my dignity - forget as a native citizen - as a human being. Never define/restrict my potential. Never charter my life, you sick demented f*ks making a delusional situation more delusional. Now I have to worry about watching tv and the individuals on the other end buying into propaganda/stupid ideas. Was the F* is it to you any of you whether I laugh or smile. Your planes are falling/bridges are collapsing, and this is why. Because of your h*rt feelings cr*p. Pull the d*mn plug on this nonsense. You make sh*t nice by wrapping it around in nice wrapping paper doesn't mean I want your sh*t. Move on with your lives, rip this d*mn thing off like a bandaid. Never bother me again. A bunch of weirdos see me naked in multiple ways, and you think I'm a prostitute to continue doing it after.
To the orchestrators: Take your illusion mind control cr*p, your fake thinking style, your hallucinations, your augmented reality cr*p, and never come near me again, not in 10 years, a century, a millennium, a millennia after. The amount of your controlling nature bull sh*t when I figure out ur crap in hours, days, or months. 18 years or more. godlike mental faculties, physical augmentations, such powers are not yours, but they are what they are. powers are powers. Integrity, or at this point, DIGNITY is priceless. Get lost. I waited quite a bit of time to say this objectively. What do you call that f*tards?! Cuz Oh I'm the guy who's been mistreated, and then mistreated for show, and now I need all your reassurance or approval. Just writing it sound like a b*tch. Go on with your lives. Try avoiding a day without shooting, then bother with tv camera people nonsense. Not another day. I don't want this to be fixed if it ever required fixing to begin with. I'm happy the way it is. Get lost, wipe my mind, do whatever. Never come near my family or me. Middle age and these retards think I want to hang out with old men, teenagers, and be a brother to a nation that F*ed me over. Is that better orchestrators? Did I...say what I really feel...deep down he hates us-no sh*t! Get lost! While you look at me with fake puzzled looks? What is my expression? Do I need to punch a wall to make a point? This endless "he doesn't mean it" "he's angry" , all to just drag this out one more day. Why the f* do I care if you say hello or look at me. Get lost! To a bunch of ... how do I say this nicely ... citizens of the um America's ideals...I don't want to encourage your random hype interest in me with forced smiles. Take a hike and turn th*s prostitution of a brown man off.

“Oh, there are plenty of people," the Duc used to observe, "who never misbehave save when passion spurs them to ill; later, the fire gone out of them, their now calm spirit peacefully returns to the path of virtue and, thus passing their life going from strife to error and from error to remorse, they end their days in such a way there is no telling just what roles they have enacted on earth.
Such persons," he would continue, "must surely be miserable: forever drifting, continually undecided, their entire life is spent detesting in the morning what they did the evening before. Certain to repent of the pleasures they taste, they take their delight in quaking, in such sort they become at once virtuous in crime and criminal in virtue.” ― Donatien Alphonse François de Sade, The 120 Days of Sodom

How would the captains react to catching their partner cheating on them? I’m feeling angst tonight
Finally some good fucking food. Angst; it’s what’s for dinner and I’m chowing down with you, anon.
Features: angst. Some violence and torture with Gin and Mayuri.
How The Original Captains React To Being Cheated On:
Genryusai Yamamoto:
There’s little to no reaction. You wouldn’t be the first and won’t be the last to use him for status or money or petty bragging rights. Just another day.
Quietly, behind closed doors, he does mourn. Not for the loss of you, but for the prospect of starting again. He caresses the pretty things he’s bought you, each touch a vote for or against bothering.
If you come to him, apologetic and willing to repent, he’ll look past the transgression. Less work for him to undertake, in the end, and the power of demanding this is that in the name of forgiveness suits him.
Shunsui Kyoraku:
He can’t help but laugh. All those years chasing girls and washing his hands of the consequences come to catch him now that he’s standing still with just one hand holding his.
Business goes on as usual, but he’s sloppier around the edges—spilling sake on paper work, falling asleep against Jushiro’s grave, and forsaking the frequent partying he’s known for in lieu of furiously scribbling down the perfect love story he didn’t get.
Honestly, he’s willing to forgive if it wasn’t done out of love for the other person and there’s a willingness to work on the relationship. Shunsui has played the unfaithful lover more times than he can remember; being black out drunk more often than sober will do that to you.
Soi Fon:
She can’t speak and doesn’t bother. Throat closed with anger, she lets her body tell you where your relationship lies—thrown off the bed and kicked outside.
There’s nothing but hatred for you and humiliation for herself. Not just personally, but professionally; a leader of the 2nd division being caught unawares is irony at the cost of her reputation.
People are always leaving her behind once she trusts them. After weeks, she’ll ask you why. Because that’s always the question burning in her chest. Why can’t she be a person someone stays for.
Gin Ichimaru:
Cute, how you think you can shuffle off and away from him after getting caught. He doesn’t flinch, talking with conversational tones. Hey, sweetie, who’s your little friend? Aww, they don’t talk or some thin’?
There’s two options; submit to grueling public humiliation or die. Gin loves to have fun, after all. And, isn’t it fun having to watch the person you cheated with get toyed with like a mouse under kitty claws? Aren’t you having fun kissing the corpse? Wasn’t your silly mistake worth it?
Gin has never forgiven, forgotten, or turned down an opportunity to make someone who cares about him regret feeling so. Your life is hell and the jailor can’t decide whether to keep your head under boiling water or kill you. Fun!
Retsu Unohana:
The impulse to leave as the only one alive is temptation incarnate. She is firm, restrained, and digs into her cheeks until her teeth pop through.
She keeps waiting to calm, for the situation to become objective instead of the turmoil in her gut. Retsu is especially brusque with everyone while working, making every stitch job a painful one. Why is there always something. Why can’t all the change finally stick; why is she still glad to feel the pain so she can inflict it back?
The betrayal was the end and there’s years of coping methods that keep you from spilling your guts on a sword, but it feels like a very near thing to her. Professionally, she’s less kind, and your next set of wounds healed by the 4th get infected. Poor thing.
Sosuke Aizen:
As far as you know, he’s stricken with heartbreak and disappointment. His voice is a touch too loud when telling you off—others hear. And disapprove greatly. He asks any bystanders for their discretion towards his privacy, adding a tear or two for effect.
Your relationship being over matters little; dime a dozen are the people who’ll fall over themselves to be his. The audacity of treating him, your better, with such unfairness? Affects him like an itch under skin.
Of course, he forgives you. He makes a show of it and the number of people out for your unhappiness grows. How could you cheat on such a gracious, loving man? You are punished with little action from himself, the many shinigami who view him with starry-eyes doing their work without needing explicit instruction.
Byakuya Kuchiki:
There’s little to say or do outside of making it clear he wants you gone in a permanent way. Reaction is the thief of dignity, so he saves any emotion for when he’s alone.
Self flagellation is his favorite dessert and he is convinced the bitter taste reflects his character somehow. In a way, it speaks to his lack of care and dignity as a clan leader; what fully aware man could let this happen?
For you, there aren’t any chances let alone forgiveness. You’ve stung his pride in multiple ways and only social norms keep you from dying in a duel over it. But as a shinigami—as a captain—he has avenues to vent his vindication until he feels the crime has been payed for. Too bad for you that pride is worth it’s weight in gold for a Kuchiki.
Sajin Komamura:
He runs away from the situation as soon as possible. Of course you cheated on him; how foolish to think anyone would not. At least he knows now and can get back to his normal.
Being alone isn’t all bad. There’s more time for his pets, his company, and his training. Comforting, familiar, he can pretend this is how it always was. Just him, alone.
His lack of self-esteem outweighs his want for justice. It was unfair to subject anyone to…himself, anyway. He can’t blame you for wanting someone untouched by the curse of the beast.
Kaname Tosen:
There’s more anger than even you expect. Injustice in anything, especially something so personal, enrages him. But he has the self control and sense to only send you packing.
Still, it’s all he can think about. Better to be consumed by this than the glacial pace his better world is taking. You’re one of the people holding that goal back, he’s sure. He insists on a talk that’s really just a long, painful lecture.
People like you, who disregard what’s right, don’t deserve forgiveness and the upset within him darkens. Maybe there is a way you can make things right. They’re so close to perfecting the Arrancar and he’d like to see how you’ve contributed once his eyes open, finally able to see.
Toshiro Hitsugaya:
There aren’t any dramatics or punishments or even words to give you other than ‘goodbye’. He sees the break and he cuts it cleanly. There’s no need for anything else.
Largely he copes by doing what he always does—working, training, meditating. There are a few sips of alcohol and punches to his pillow, but you’re no longer someone he cares about. The ice has holed over the spot you took just fine.
You don’t exist to him anymore. If you try to apologize, his eyes will pass over you and he’ll remind you once before ignoring you again: He’s a captain and he’s closed the conversation and now he’s getting back to work. Goodbye.
Kenpachi Zaraki:
So you’re fucking somebody. Is that a big deal or something? Should he be hurt? Because all he can muster is annoyance.
And then he thinks about it. He lets it sink in that somebody was touching you while you’re his. Kenpachi understands the want to play, but isn’t love when someone is the best in your heart and only them? Like, strength but more fucking confusing.
He’s still undecided if there’s anything to forgive. He tells you to give it another go with him in the mix and likes the feeling better than walking in uninvited. So maybe it was just play…and maybe he’s more rough with you two than intended. But he leaves more content than he came, so he figures everything’s fine. He can always kill somebody later, once he’s figured it out for good.
Mayuri Kurotsuchi:
You’re knocked unconscious and so is the person you were in bed with. That’s the last you see of them or the world beyond one lab room.
Congratulations, you are now confined to a pill that is swallowed by gigai after gigai designed in your likeness. Isn’t he generous, letting you take part in his research still? Don’t you feel honored to still feel any part of his touch as he takes you apart somehow more painfully than the time before?
Because it is just research. He didn’t care about you enough to still feel enraged about it. This is purely out of principle, a logical response to your base actions. Don’t worry, it’s just forever.
Jushiro Ukitake:
The discovery is emotional and he struggles keep his dignity, especially when a coughing fit starts soon after. He can’t even tell you off without sickness leaking into the moment.
The spiral begins. You’re awful one moment and justified the next. He’s the victim, then the one who should’ve known. There was no good reason and then he coughs again and there’s one.
He could forgive you if you’re genuine and forthright with a reason that isn’t the weight which holds him under blankets or pushes blood past his lips. As long as the illness isn’t what poisoned the relationship, he could forgive you.

jordan im sorry i squirted on one of the pews in the back of the temple. I swear ill pay whatever i have to to get it cleaned it was an accident
Oh was that what I stepped in earlier? I did think it smelled surprisingly like bodily fluids, but I had hoped it was just my senses playing tricks on me.
Now that the truth has come to light I must say I am mortified. Not as mortified as you might think, or want me to be, but mortified nonetheless.
Deviants like yourself are always breaking into the temple and defiling it in such a way. Last week I caught two individuals fornicating on one of the pews even. Truly disgusting.
Still at least you apologized and offered to pay. So have you pay I shall. 10 lashings and cleaning duty for a month ought to do.
What? You expected I would make you pay with money? Do not be ridiculous. Monetary lose is temporary, I want this experience to last your lifetime.

A Matter of Repentance
At the end of a hard day's work, a fella might want to just clean up and relax for a bit.
(Unbeta'd, unofficial sequel to A Matter of Humility by Ms_Adequate)
[HalduRomThemar, NSFW, AO3, Ko-fi]
——————————
Time had lost all meaning who knows how long ago. He barely notices that the steady steam of people has abated until the restraints release him, and he would have dropped to the floor like a rag doll had strong arms not caught him.
The pressure around his cock also vanishes, which the body part in question is undecided how to feel about. By the Sunwell, he needs to relieve himself. Swallowing, wincing at his chapped lips, he manages the first word he's spoken in, Light, hours of this:
"Tired."
It's weak, and hoarse enough to be near unintelligible, but whoever is releasing him only shushes him with a gentle stroke through is hair. It must be a mess, after all the grabbing and fluids. He must be a mess. He feels every single decade he's lived when he tries to stand, before blessed, soothing warmth suffuses him, easing his aches and even repairing his lips. It is unable to affect the bone-deep exhaustion he feels, and the relief confuses his addled mind and body enough that he has to clench down lest he piss on the floor.
Carefully and with help, he finds himself standing, if leaning heavily on someone, a man? A vaguely familiar musk, but too tiresome to place. He's smelled a lot of musk, these past... hours? Days? The blindfold is gone but even thinking about opening his eyes is extremely tiring, even as somebody uses the fabric to wipe some of the mess off his face – the stuff that hasn't dried, that is.
There's a low murmur of a whispered conversation happening to the side between a man and a woman, but Rommath pays it no mind. He could fall asleep standing up, but for the increasingly urgent demands of his bladder. His stomach, too, is making its displeasure known, but as another shoulder takes his free arm to support him, he decides he can worry about things when he's himself again. Right now, he will just go where he's led and hope for the best.
There's a portal, which should worry him, but exiting on the other side feels like sinking into a warm bath, his own wards welcoming him home. Well, his rooms at the Spire, so not home-home, but close enough and frankly preferable.
"Hold him, I'll get it." Lor'themar. There should maybe be resentment, but he can't muster any presently.
"I got him." Halduron. Rommath's brow furrows. Very well, maybe a little resentment can be spared after all. "Don't be like that."
Rommath manages what can generously be called a growl. He feels about as dangerous as a kitten after his ordeal, and he's sure he comes across about the same.
Once the door is open, his feet know the way, and he shuffles toward the bathroom on autopilot, loath to open his eyes until necessity demands it which isn't until he makes it inside. It is blessedly dark, and at a word dimly lit with candles only. The prospect of having to undress himself makes him want to cry. He briefly considers whether he's got enough of his mana back to simply incinerate the clothes off of his body – not like they won't need to be burned regardless – before gentle hands turn him around...

Probably spoilery question but how would the ROs act if MC was sent to Repentance Hall?
Before answering this question, I'll say first that there are two routes to which a romance with an RO can lead to. For example, based on your choices, Constantine can either remain loyal to the Baskerville Family in the end or rebel against them. That's why I'll include two reactions for some ROs here.
For the prefect ROs, I'm making it so that they heard about the decision to send the MC to Repentance Hall before MC was sent, so they have time to stop their punishment.
Also, I'm still undecided on the names of the routes of every RO, so you can expect some of them to change in time.
Freedom Barrett: When they heard that you were sent to Repentance Hall, they would cry and blame themselves for letting you get hurt. When you come back from your punishment, they would spoil you to bits and take care of your wounds. Even if you were to insist that you were fine, they would try to find a way for you to get out of Baskerville Academy since they worry for your safety now that they know you aren't invincible, despite your prefect status.
Repression Barrett: Same reaction as Freedom Barrett, although they wouldn't try to find a way for you to escape Baskerville Academy. They would just make you promise to them not to go against the rules anymore, citing that they wouldn't be able to bear seeing you wounded again.
Truth and Lie Marshall: While they know that a vice-prefect giving special treatment to a student, even if they are a prefect, is inappropriate, they would use their reputation to persuade the Elders into giving you a more lenient punishment. However, if they refuse, Marshall would either break the rules for you or frame some other student to accept your punishment.
Loyalty and Rebellion Constantine: Upon being the first to hear your punishment, they would freeze in an instant. Elder Maxim would ask what's wrong, and they would try to get you a more lenient punishment. Elder Maxim would laugh and question their loyalty to the Baskerville Family. Despite the risks, Constantine would exchange getting you out of your punishment with a favor from them. In the end, Elder Maxim accepts and you're free from your punishment.
Chaos Sharp: When they heard that you were sent to Repentance Hall, they would instantly try to get you out of Repentance Hall and even from Baskerville Academy itself. Once you are out of Baskerville Academy, they would stay together with Chambers in the academy to continue the mission and avenge you. Using Chambers's help, they would try to ascertain which rule you broke. If you got in a fight with someone, that someone would be beaten to pulp by nighttime. For the Elder/prefect that gave you that punishment, they would be buried deep underneath the ground.
Peace Sharp: They would be very angry and sad once they heard you were sent to Repentance Hall. They would make plans to get you out of Repentance Hall as soon as possible, but Chambers would remind them that they could only do it during nighttime where the possibility of being found out lessens. Once they get you out, they would cry at the sight of seeing you wounded and bloodied. They would hug you, treat your wounds, and get you out of Baskerville Academy at once.
Past and Present Chambers: When they heard that you were sent to Repentance Hall, their face would still be calm and collected, but their heart would be thrown into chaos. They worried for your safety, and immediately made preparations together with Sharp to get you out of Repentance Hall and from Baskerville Academy during nighttime. After they see your bloodied and wounded state, they would hesitate to hug or even touch you, treating your body like a China doll that could break at any point in time. They would only softly kiss your forehead and promise you that the pain would end soon.

QUESTIONS & ANSWERS: What are the Greatest Dangers and Pitfalls That a Believer Faces, and What Precautions Can Be Taken?
Humanity is being tested in this world. Life itself, from the beginning until the end, is full of tests that are different in shape and level of difficulty. It is mentioned the most dangerous six categories of these pitfalls and shown the safe paths that "brings to naught the six intrigues of human and Satanic devils and blocks up their routes of assaults."
Let us take a look at these six pitfalls:
1-Desire for Rank and Position; Ambition for fame and acclaim and self-advertisement
Nursi summarizes this feeling that is present in human beings in the following way: "Present in most people is the hypocritical desire to be seen by people and hold a position in the public view; this is the ambition for fame and acclaim and self-advertisement; this desire for rank and position is present to a lesser or greater extent in all those who seek this world. To accomplish this ambition, the desire for fame will drive a person to sacrifice even their life." If this desire is not satisfied through legitimate ways, it is almost certain that it will cause harm to those who have been captured by it and to the society they live in. Unfortunately, such harm, once it exists, cannot easily be removed.
2-A Sense of Fear
A person can tie down and enslave their freewill through the sense of fear. In today's world, those people who mislead us scheme to oppress people through this sense of fear. Nursi has defined this pitfall, in particular for the servants of truth, as: "One of the most important and fundamental emotions in human beings is the sense of fear. Scheming oppressors profit greatly from the vein of fear. They restrain those who are weak or undecided through fear. The agents of the worldly and those who spread the propaganda of misguidance take advantage of this vein in the common people and of religious scholars in particular. They frighten them and excite their groundless fears." A person who believes in God and the Truth can avoid this pitfall only by increasing awareness and faith and by thinking "If I have great honor, dignity, and pride, let them be sacrificed for my cause. Death is only in the hands of God." The way to fear nothing is to fear only that being that is worthy of fear, God Himself.
3-Greed
Greed means: "an excessive desire to acquire or possess more than what one needs or deserves." Prophet Muhammad has depicted how a greedy person is, saying: "If the son of Adam had two valleys full of gold, he would ask for the third. Only dirt will satisfy the greedy eyes. God will accept the repentance of those who are sincerely penitent." To avoid this pitfall is only possible if one is guided by the following verse:
O children of Adam! Whenever you rise to perform the Prayer, (be not naked, or wearing your night or working clothes; instead,) dress clean and beautifully; and, (without making unlawful the things God has made lawful to you,) eat and drink, but do not waste (by over-eating or consuming in unnecessary ways); assuredly, He does not love the wasteful," (7/31)
It is always possible that some ill-intentioned people may try to use believers for their evil purposes by luring them into the pitfall of greed. Nursi points out this danger:" Yes, 'the worldly,' in particular, the people of misguidance do not give away their money easily; they sell it at a high price. Sometimes something that may help a little towards a year of this worldly life can be the means of destroying infinite eternal life. And through that vile greed, a person draws Divine wrath on themselves and tries to attract the pleasure of those who mislead"
4-Nationalism
Nationalism started with Durkheim in Europe and has spread throughout the world from there. Islam opposes any nationalistic view that puts the nationality above religion, that is, a view that makes the nationality of a person more important than their faith. In Islam, it is the unity around faith that abolishes the clan and nationality-oriented concepts. It is clear that most of the companions were from different races, such as, Abu Bakr was an Arab, Bilal was African, Suhayb was from Byzantium, Salman was Persian. Despite the fact that they all were raised in different parts of the world among different nations, they all gathered around the unifying power of Islam and became brothers. The only means of superiority is defined in the verse:
O humankind! Surely We have created you from a single (pair of) male and female, and made you into tribes and families so that you may know one another (with the character and abilities of each to be able to build social relationships among you and help one another, not so that you may feel pride in your color and race and harbor enmity against one another). Surely the noblest and most honorable of you in God's sight is the one who is the most advanced of you in piety, righteousness, and reverence for God. Surely God is All-Knowing, All-Aware.(49/13)
Islam only supports the positive aspect of nationalism; lineage, clan, nationality are real phenomena and should be recognized. As stated in the above verse, people are put into nations and tribes so that they may become acquainted with one another. Said Nursi has stressed this positive understanding of nationalism in the third matter of the 26th Letter as: "This idea of positive nationalism must serve Islam, it must be its citadel and armor; it must not take the place of it. For there is a hundredfold brotherhood within the brotherhood of Islam which persists in the Intermediate Realm and World of Eternity. So however strong national brotherhood is, it may be like a veil to it. But to establish it in place of Islamic brotherhood is a foolish crime that is like throwing away the treasure of diamonds kept within the citadel and replacing them with the stones of the citadel."
5-Egotism
This is the weakest side of one's self and must be removed from the character at once; it is not possible for those unfortunate ones who are caught up in the egotistical tornado to see the truth and to head toward the target without falling off the path in if they have been blindfolded by the ego. Nursi has warned us about this danger in the 29th Letter: "My brothers! Beware, do not let them strike you with egotism; do not let them hunt you with it! You should know that this century the people of misguidance have mounted the ego and are galloping through the valleys of misguidance. The people of truth have to give up the ego if they are to serve the truth. Even if a person is justified in making use of the ego, since they will resemble the others and they too will suppose that they are self-seeking, it is an injustice to the service of the truth."
6-Laziness and the desire for physical comfort
The sincere, dedicated people who call others to truth and raise them to the true level of humanity, should never be entrapped by laziness, and should be ready to sacrifice their physical and spiritual comfort for divine purposes. The prophet Abraham had many flocks of sheep and he was one of the richest people of his time. Under the guidance of Gabriel, the angels disguised themselves as men and praised God with elegantly chosen words at a volume that Abraham could hear. Abraham was mesmerized by their beautiful praises. He did not hesitate to sacrifice his wealth, to make them repeat those lovely words. Gabriel then introduced himself to Abraham and noted that he did not need any of the wealth that Abraham had offered, and added that the Lord had wanted to show his loyalty to the angels and thus had sent them to test him. The voyagers of this pure path, without perishing in this pitfall, should walk only with the aim in their hearts that is "to please God."
In summary, in response to the infinite Mercy of God, one should never cease to hope and respect God, and our sight should always be turned toward Him; one should move on with the utmost care and respect. In this way, the spirit of action can be preserved; one will be able to avoid the six pitfalls, making it possible to be protected from the shame and discouraging effects of sins and to drink from the waters of the rivers of forgiveness, thus enabling one to reach the soothing and inspiring bounties of eternity.
