Bonjour, lovely!! I adore your fics, your choice of words are just *✧delectable✧* and I'm amazed at how you beautifully written Kaz. If you may, could you write a little fluff with the reader being a skilled painter/sculptor and she helps the crows in art forgery. (I personally love when there's a little angsty yearning in the mix but I trust you will blow it out of the waters). Mercii!!
Stolen hearts - Kaz Brekker x Reader
Prompt : As a crow who specializes in art, what happens when Kaz stumbles upon one of your personal sketchbooks and gets a little jealous? - Pairing : Kaz Brekker x Reader - Warnings : Jealous Kaz, Kaz being an idiot, he gets a bit upset but nothing too crazy :)
A/N : Hi my loves, this is a pretty long one but I ADORED this idea, and so I let myself run with it.This may just be one of my favourite things I have ever written so I really hope you enjoy it as much as I did writing this!! As always requests are open, and please check my list here for other characters I write for!!

(Also it seems as if we are getting closer to finding out if we are getting a SOC spin off!! After the writers strikes we should hopefully know, so lets try keep the Grishaverse fandom alive on here!! <3 )

"You want me to recreate that in two days? Kaz, the original is painted in oils, they don't even dry in that time!" You exclaimed, peering over the top of a stolen painting at your boss, his gaze hard yet not harsh.
"I am aware," Kaz began, "But that's why I hired you, isn't it? You have not missed a deadline once, and I know you won't miss it now," his firm voice rung out into the acoustics of his office.
And of course, he was right.
Although you would have to take a few shortcuts, you could feel your fingertips twitching against the oak frame of the piece, mind already composing each element of the scene. Tucking it beneath your arm, you let out a gentle sigh, nodding swiftly in his direction before departing from the room.
He had saved you, and this painting was only a fragment in your repayment of Kaz Brekker.
════ ∘◦ᵒ 𓅓 ᵒ◦∘ ════
A fire had swept through your village just beyond the confines of the Barrel, leaving you with nothing but your pouch, filled to the brim with pencils, inks, and as many types of paper as you had been able to salvage. The corners of your paintings began to singe as your home was engulfed, pain piercing your heart as you sprinted down the path to evade the impenetrable walls of flame.
Ketterdam beckoned you into her grip, as you ventured through the dim alleyways until shadow gave way to dazzling light displays. The Lid revealed itself to you, and with no other choice you slotted yourself in with the penniless street merchants that lined the alleys of Ketterdam.
For years, you offered sketches, portraits, and paintings to the rich tourists that marveled at Ketterdam's wonders. Although mere pennies were offered in exchange for your work, it was enough to renew your supplies and evade sleeping by the canal, or being trampled by tourists.
As time crawled along your skills blossomed, transforming your rough ideas into magnificent pieces, worthy of far more than a few kruge. Soon, you began to slip into galleries, memorizing each stroke until your mind could guide your hands without a single thought. Portraits that were worth thousands were then being passed into clueless pigeon's hands for only a few hundred kruge, as your skills were unmatched in the art of forgery.
Little did you know that you were being kept under the watchful eye of Kaz Brekker's wraith, your talents being thoroughly observed and reported back to the leader of the crows.
You were able to swindle the pigeons for a few months until the Watchstadt began to take note of the remarkable artistry of your paintings. Overnight, the tides of your fortune changed, awaking one evening to the thudding of leather against stone, inching closer to you as each moment passed.
In a desperate attempt to escape your fate, you clutched your belongings and shot down a back alley, shadows offering you a blanket of protection from the moon's shimmering light. However it seemed as if your luck had reached its limit, as several guards barreled out in front of you, as your other exits were swiftly stolen from you.
Tears began to blur your vision, lightheadedness overtaking your senses, the guard's words became muffled and distant, as panic overtook your being. You were barely aware of a gentle voice calling you from your terror, a soft hand wiping away the beads of pain falling from your eyes.
In the hours that followed, you scarcely registered anything but your gratitude towards Inej, and ultimately to Kaz who had been increasing the hours that his wraith was sent to protect you. In a few swift meetings, Kaz Brekker had settled a deal with you, sheltering you from the darkness of the Barrel, whilst securing a valuable new member of the crows.
════ ∘◦ᵒ 𓅓 ᵒ◦∘ ════
"Thank the saints that that is over," Jesper all but shouted, falling backwards onto the sofa in the common room of the slat. Placing yourself on a worn armchair opposite, you felt somewhat peaceful as your painting had been so seamless that the entire mission was cut short by a few hours.
After jobs, each crow fell into their own routines to unwind the tension that undeniably interwove into each of them. Kaz's cane thumped lightly against the creaking oak of the staircase, ascending to his room to continue plotting. Hushed whispers often omitted from Wylan and Jesper as they basked in each other's company.
Inej was usually missing, as she was now, exploring the endless expanses of rooftops whilst allowing the bitter air to cool her down. Taking in the couple across from you, and a now slumbering Nina beside you, you reached for the familiar leather binding of your sketchbook.
The glowing embers of the low-lit fire cast soft shadows on your friends, and the light washes of orange and red watercolour aided in your attempt to capture the peaceful scene unfolding before you. However, the absence of a certain presence pulled you from your portrait, thoughts straying to the man who undoubtedly was scheming once more in his office.
Since joining his crew, a small fondness for the "demjin" had harbored itself deep within your heart, impenetrable and unmoving. He treated you with a cold kindness, gifting you small tins of expensive paints, or the latest papers, completely dismissing the fact they were irrelevant to your job.
With a short shake of your head, the thoughts dispelled, returning your mind to the clarity it needed to produce your sketch, the flames from the fireplace dimming as the room began to fall into shadow. The peace that art instilled you with returned, as your heartbeat slowed and a sense of calm washed over you with each brushstroke.
════ ∘◦ᵒ 𓅓 ᵒ◦∘ ════
Settling into his chair, Kaz let out a short breath, tension easing slightly from his body as relief gripped him, all thanks to you. Your painting had exceeded his expectations, not a single person suspecting the image to have been forged, and the original stolen into the possession of the Dregs.
Few things could entrance Kaz Brekker, yet something about the way your colours melted into each other, or the clear emotion engrained into every miniscule detail of a painting pulled him in. Perhaps the depth of your sculptures, or the smooth yet carefully crafted edges of the clay coming to life in his imagination were to blame for his admiration for you.
Kaz's mind wandered as he thoughtlessly ridded his desk of it's papers, hastily stacking them into neat piles as he tried to shake his thoughts of you.
Suddenly, Kaz was startled from his inner battle, gloved fingers brushing against a foreign texture, a hard leather cover of, something? Curiosity urged him to retrieve the book from underneath the blueprints and paperwork, eyes scanning over the front in search of a clue as to what the binding held.
Carefully undoing a well tied string, the front page fell flat against his weathered desk, the candle beside him offering a gentle illumination. Kaz's breath caught in his throat as he recognized the contents of the book, the etches of the pencil being too precise to belong to any person, but you.
The charcoal marks formed on the fraying page to portray Jesper, content as he sat on a patterned bar stool in the Crow Club, eyes slightly creased in content. Thumbing to the next page, Kaz discovered another depiction of his sharpshooter, however this time he was polishing his guns. Unlike the previous image, Jesper was now depicted in a light wash of colour, bringing him seemingly to life.
Enchanted by your work, Kaz continued to marvel at each sketch and painting, however a sharp feeling grabbed at his chest as he came to a realization. Apart from a few pages here and there, the subject that lined the parchment was always Jesper. Turning the pages increasingly quicker, a feeling of dread seeped into his stomach, a twisting combination of jealousy and annoyance building within him.
A gentle knock broke him from these thoughts, as your voice called out in the hope you would be permitted entry. Carefully, Kaz slid your sketchbook to the opposite end of his desk, pretending to analyze a discarded stack of papers before allowing you in.
"Hey Kaz, I was just coming to check in on you, I didn't get to catch up with you after..." you began, speech diminishing as your eyes fell upon the bronzed edges of one of your sketchbooks. Your eyes lit up as you began to grin.
"You left it on my desk," Kaz stated, trying desperately to burry the knot in his stomach, as your expression brightened at the thought of finding the book full of Jesper. "I've been looking everywhere for this one, thank you Kaz," you respond, hastily reclaiming the book, folding it snuggly between your arms and your chest.
"It shouldn't be here," Kaz snapped, a sharp tone piercing the previously warm atmosphere, "It's your personal sketchbook, so it needs to stay personal. Understand?" Kaz bit out, stunning you into silence as you backed away towards the door.
"Oh," you began, "I didn't mean to leave it here," voice cracking as you battled through the shock of his manner, and the hurt of him snapping at you. "Make sure I don't see it again, although I'm sure Jesper would love to," Kaz concluded, practically spitting out your friend's name.
The dismay you felt began to ebb away as you took in your boss' expression more closely, your upset being replaced with something resembling humour. "Kaz," your voice quietly began, "You're not jealous, are you?" you question.
Although the room remained silent, his features spoke a thousand words to you, his eyes widening fractionally to reveal fright, face becoming tinged by a rosy blush. Before you could utter another word, Kaz had guided you to the arched doorway, pushed you through the threshold, and slammed the door before you could witness the tips of his ears turning crimson.
════ ∘◦ᵒ 𓅓 ᵒ◦∘ ════
Through the warped glass pane of his window, Kaz was stirred by the early rays of sunrise, face gently caressed by each stream of light that infiltrated the darkness. Despite the restless sleep he gained, the bastard was surprised he had managed to fall unconscious at all.
From the moment he had shut the door on you, feelings of jealousy and shame had consumed him. He swore he had heard a splinter echo throughout his chest as he recalled the hurt spreading across your face the previous evening.
Letting out a short breath of frustration, he slowly contorted his stiff limbs into a sitting position, and only then did his gaze cast onto the unfamiliar shade of leather perching on his nightstand. Unease began to spread through his body, fingertips sparking with anticipation as he reached over to retrieve the sketchbook.
Frustration began to wrestle with the discontent, as he unwound the ribbon binding the wrinkled pages together, yet the colour of the leather seemed to shift underneath his gaze. Unlike the book he had previously discovered, this one was made of a darker material which he could only liken to the darkness of midnight. As he angled the cover, flecks of gold appeared, the early sun dancing light off of each one, illuminating the leather as if it were a sky full of stars
Nimbly undoing the ribbon on the side, the first page fell open, and to his surprise, a neatly penned note fell out of the cover, revealing an image behind it that Kaz was sure he would have permanently engraved in his memory. A pair of sharp eyes met his own, and his breath caught in his throat as he questioned whether he was glimpsing into some sort of mirror.
With a desperation he himself could not even comprehend, Kaz began to flip through the pages, the guilt he had initially felt now burning him from the inside out, singeing at his chest. Each portrait captured his every emotion, each stroke precise and beautiful in a way he had never experienced before.
Gently unfolding the corners of the note, Kaz's gaze deepened with each curling letter of your short message -
Dear Mr Brekker,
After your discovery yesterday, I thought it only fair to also show you your notebook too. I have one for each of the crows, yourself included, and so I kindly ask you not to panic further about Jesper being the only muse of my pieces.
Love, your favourite artist
P.S ~ You also have a second book, if you are interested.
Kaz's breath hitched at the word 'love' before his mind could even comprehend it, head spiraling with thoughts of you as he pictured your gentle teasing laughter as you penned the note to him. The guilt and shame became so consuming in that second that his chest constricted, and he knew the only way he could alleviate the weight was by visiting you.
════ ∘◦ᵒ 𓅓 ᵒ◦∘ ════
A sharp knock pierced through the silence of your room, pen stopping mid point as you called a gentle welcome to the man behind the door. Kaz's figure slowly filled the doorframe, waistcoat slightly untucked, and hair somewhat out of place as if he had raced to see you.
A teasing grin began to illuminate your features, and the sunrise seeping through your window was more than bright enough to display Kaz's rose dusted cheeks as he averted his gaze. Without so much as a sound passing through his pursed lips, a gloved hand directed itself towards you, clutching onto the dark sketchbook.
You smile faltered, the glimmer seeping from your eyes as your lips fought to stay curved, as you questioned, "You didn't like it?" Kaz shifted his dark gaze to meet your own, brows lightly furrowing as he grumbled "I thought you might want it back."
Your gaze softened as the walls you had been beginning to construct around your heart crumbled, "Oh, I meant it more like a gift Kaz, plus I have several more books dedicated to you anyway," you uttered tenderly. The figure before you lowered his head towards the object in his hands, knuckles whitening beneath his leather gloves as his grip hardened.
After a fleeting moment of your boss' gaze sweeping over your features, he gave a swift nod in gratitude, the scent of ink and secrets trailing behind him as he ventured back to his office. Disappointment clung to your chest at his swift departure, hoping that he would have remained in your presence for a few moments more.
However, as your gaze travelled upwards to glimpse at his departing figure, you noticed how he had faltered in your doorway. His broad shoulders were facing you, allowing you to to observe every deep yet ragged breath that lifted his chest.
"I..." He began, voice so low that it was barely audible, "I'm sorry for last night, I shouldn't have said those things to you," Kaz almost spat out, the words tasting foreign on his lips as he attempted to quickly escape to the confines of his office.
"Kaz," you called out, hope unravelling the knots of anxiety from previously, leaving you with streams of a newfound confidence, "I just thought you should know you are my favourite subject. No one else in Ketterdam seems to have a better facial structure than yours."
Kaz could hear the thick inflections of your smirk within your words, ribbons of humour intertwining with each letter you spoke. Despite your teasing being met with a remarkably loud silence, your words had planted themselves deep inside Kaz's heart.
Racing back towards his office, the beat of his cane against the oak panels of the slat hastened by the second.
Yet not even they could match the pace at which Kaz's heart was beating, as his mind replayed your words over and over in his head until the way the word "favourite" was all he could hear.
Thinking back to your short note, Kaz's lips formed a ghost of a smile, since not only were you his favourite, but he was yours.

Harris also announced $175 million dollars of direct aid from the US to Guatemala at a meeting with Guatemalan President Bernardo Arévalo.
The Department of Energy announced a $1.5 billion dollar loan to help restart the Palisades Nuclear Plant. This would mark the first time a nuclear power plant was brought back online after being decommissioned. The hope is keep the plant running till 2051, this 100% green power source is projected to prevent 111 million tons of CO2 emissions in its new life time, the same as taking 100,000 cars off the road. Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer touted it as key for her state reaching its goal of 100% clean energy by 2040.
Vice President Harris launched a social media push to inform the public about the Biden-Harris Administration's SAVE Plan. The Saving on a Valuable Education (SAVE) Plan was launched last year as part of President Biden's efforts to bring student loan forgiveness to millions of borrowers. Currently 7.7 million people are enrolled in SAVE, under which anyone making $16 a hour or less has a monthly payment of $0 on their student loans. 4.5 million SAVE enrollees are making $0 a month payments and another 1 million pay less than $100 a month on their loan repayment, over 150,000 people so far have had their loans totally forgiven. Republicans are suing to try to shut down the SAVE Plan
President Biden took keep steps to ensure quality healthcare this week. Biden extended the window for low-income Americans to apply for Obamacare. The original deadline of July 31st has been pushed back to November 30th. Biden also rolled back Trump era rules that allowed subsidies for "Junk Health insurance" These plans offer very little coverage and often mislead consumers into believing they have insurance when they aren't covered. These short term plans also don't have meet Obamacare standards and can refuse coverage for preexisting conditions.
The EPA announced new regulations aimed at "turbocharging" the number of electric trucks on the road. The new rules aim to have 25% of new long-haul trucks, the heaviest often diesel trucks on the road, and 40% of medium-size trucks (box trucks and landscaping vehicles) be nonpolluting by 2032, currently just 2% are. The regulation would apply to more than 100 types of vehicles including tractor-trailers, ambulances, R.V.s, garbage trucks and moving vans. The new tailpipe limits are expected to prevent about a billion tons of greenhouse gas emissions by 2055.
the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services announced that thanks to President Biden's Inflation Reduction Act, 41 different drugs will coast those on Medicare Part B less money than it did last year. An estimated 763,700 people on Medicare use at least one of these drugs every year. Some enrollees will save as much as $3,575 per dose.
The Department of Energy announced $6 billion for an effort to decarbonize energy-intensive industries. The investment in 33 projects across 20 states will eliminate 14 million metric tons of CO2 emissions each year when finished. Each project is meant to be highly replicable and serve as a blueprint for future private sector ventures.
President Biden signed an Executive Order to Strengthen the Recognition of Women’s History. The Order will launch a review of all historic sites run by the National Parks Service to determine ways to better highlight the role of women, from all backgrounds, in American History.
The Senate Confirmed President Biden's nominees, Ernesto Gonzalez, and Leon Schydlower to federal judgeships in Texas. This brings the total number of federal judges appointed by President Biden to 190.

rio i miss and love you and your analysis posts. what are your thoughts on the clethubs dynamic this season (in anticipation of the new episode tmrw)
hi aleph thank you so much for giving me a green flag to just drop a 1000 word rant about clethubs also sorry i missed the deadline and also sorry about the length. anyways personally i think clethubs is what you get when you put 3 people who are burdened with Remembering in a world where no one else really seems to. like, of course the other players remember and make references to events of the past, but they don’t remember in the way these three do.
to me this is best explained through a breakdown of Trust and how it manifests between each of them indiviudally. etho, especially, is so distrusted by most of the server. he’s a schemer, he has a reputation of being really unreadable and also unpredictable, but if you actually try to understand him it’s really easy to see that he’s actually the most straightforward person alive. he operates purely on debts and repayments. not debts in a trade sense—those are a business transaction and subject to being logically dissected and exploited. but debts in an emotional sense. etho offered grian mercy in limited life because of the diamond sword in episode 1, which grian had forgotten about entirely all the while etho had been biding his time and waiting for a chance to repay it all season.
cleo is the only person on the server who seems to really understand this part of etho, and therefore is the only person who seems to be able to read his true intentions. not only that, but she's the only one who really seems to approach the concept of loyalty in the same way. in the life series, alliances are feeble and fleeting, and for the most past actions hold no bearing in the future. it doesn’t matter what happened 5 episodes ago—if you’re not on my side now, you’re against me. there’s no such thing for cleo—loyalty and betrayal are not just momentary states of being. if you took something dear from me 5 episodes ago, i will never fully allow myself to need you again. even if we're in the final five and our survival depends on each other.
cleo and etho were direct antagonists in the last season and have no reason to trust each other now, but they trust openly despite it because better than most they understand the burden of a debt unpaid, and the burden of remembering in a way that no one else seems to. to them, loyalty isn’t about who you arbitrarily align yourself with, it’s a gesture. it’s “you gave me an extra pair of diamond leggings 3 episodes ago for no reason when you could’ve given it to your allies and now you have no idea that youre in my good books forever.” you can be on opposites ends of a war from someone but if they extend you a moment of mercy, well, how are you supposed to forget that? how are you not supposed to spend the rest of your life repaying that? they both subconsciously keep lists, not just of people they want to kill (like so many other players seem to), but of people who have extended a hand to them in a time where it didn't really make sense to. of gestures that were silently meaningful towards people they care about. "i trust you because bdubs trusted you" etc etc.
it makes so much sense that cleo and etho would both go immediately to becoming sworn allies this season after being bitter enemies in the previous series. because they both understand that there’s no such thing as fleeting alliances, and when they've decided to choose each other, it’s more than just a shared base or a team name—it’s something unshakable. it’s a thousand debts you take turns repaying.
and then theres bdubs, where remembering takes a different form entirely. for him, remembering manifests as shared history. if i chose you before, really chose you, then i’m going to choose you again and again and again. i’m going to hover in your orbit even if you don’t choose me the next time, because you and i both know what we had, even if we’re not supposed to acknowledge it. “that was a different universe, this is a different world. you’re just cleo” but i’m going to spend the rest of the episode hovering longingly by your base anyways. “this is our old thing, if it comes down to it we don’t betray each other” because the loyalty created its roots years ago and has been growing out of control ever since. you ask bdubs where his team is and he shifts uncomfortably and refuses to explicitly call them his allies, insisting that they just showed up around him but he's not really sure.
and just like etho, the other players never fully trust bdubs. he’s fickle with his loyalty and seems to be a split decision away from turning on his friends at any second, but cleo and etho both know that’s not really true either. their trust towards him comes from that Remembering, that fundamental understanding of shared history.
for etho, it’s the push and pull. it’s the knowing that we go so far back that what happens in between never really matters. you got caught in an explosion or a trap that i set in your base? well, good thing we have a hundred more lives to play with so we can just laugh it off like we always do. a stray explosion or a firing squad aren’t an act of betrayal, any more than a mocking comment about your height or a casual threat of violence. and when it really matters, we both know we’d put down our swords.
for cleo, it’s something unshakeable. bdubs, the known traitor of 3rd life, was fiercely protective of her and her alone. so she’s never wary of him the same way anyone else is—she knows that when bdubs really chooses you, then you’re marked for life.
so yeah. clethubs is three guys who share the burden of remembering. and also have some kind of unspoken understanding of each others motives and intentions that no other player seems to have concretely picked up on. but in a way that ultimately just culminates in them acting like freaks around each other and not actually making any direct effort to team mostly because, as usual, etho and bdubs have no idea how to communicate their intentions directly and sincerely like normal people and instead opt to hover in the fringes of each others alliances and make really weird and loaded comments . Anyways
#um this is so long. and also so meandering and makes no sense probably#also realizing i kinda missed the point of ur question you said this season. i just made a general clethubs rant#i havent made an analysis post in like years but i hope this makes sense anyways. i think about them a lot#i have a fever sorry#also HI ALEPH I LOVE YOU AND MISS YOU TOO#clethubs

Trespass
She was used to seeing all manner of people fishing in grander folks’ purses. Her father had taught her to look the other way, and refresh her promise never to do it herself. “Never judge anyone you see doing it,” he told her over a campfire and a seething pan of trout. “You don’t know what might have brought them down. And for all blessed sake, never rat them out. But don’t ever let your own fingers get wandersome in somebody’s pocket. White bugs will bite them. And give you blood rot. You’ll never get your fingers back.”
“But what if something brought us down?” Noemie asked, holding the tip of a coppery hair from her own head close to the fire, just to watch it curl up and turn black.
“Nothing can bring us that far down,” her father said, staring into the bluest part of the fire. “You and I, we’re knights of the road. The difference between us and them is we know how to find our way onward, no matter how bleak it gets. So we’ll never have a need, and never an excuse.”
“But we slept in someone’s chicken coop last night,” she pointed out, throwing away the hair, which had melted into a tiny knot, “and you said a judge would call it burglary. And we just took this trout straight out of the king’s river.”
Her father took the whittled wooden spoon in hand. “The law has nothing to do with it. It’s about what’s right. Sleeping in a coop isn’t burglary. It’s trespass. And God never outlawed trespass. As for the trout,” (he flipped as much of the fish over with the spoon as didn’t stick,) “He made it, not man, and put it on this earth that anyone might have it.”
Noemie settled in for an argument of it, just for sport. “But he made the horse too - so it’s all right to just take a horse?”
Her father gave a long whistle. “Well, he did make it - but man did an awful lot more helping make the horse than the trout, so no.”
“Then it’s worse to steal a book than a horse?”
“Loads worse. That’s why no one ever does it.”
Something had changed in Noemie’s moral code that night. She had never even picked up a quarter penny from the road after that. It was why now, even with the prison’s looming deadline for debt repayment, and her father on the other side of those iron bars, she had never even considered pinching the last few coins to make up the sum.
He would find out if she did. He'd whittle the truth out of her. And she’d never have her fingers back.

"a-ajax, stop! we'll get noticed here for sure!"
"they'll only notice us if you're so loud, sweetface. shh and continue sucking."
the both of you were in the Golden House after dark. childe sneaked both of you inside when the guards were switching their patrols.
"we, we can still have a heated night inside my home! i can even wear that costume you want me to try on!" you pleaded to your lover who looked much too enthused with your words.
"babe, will you say our safe word?" he peered at you who was on their knees, lapping "reluctantly" over his rock-hard, damp dick.
"... no, but at the very least make the guards sleep or something!"
"no can do, where's the thrill in that?" he looked at you almost maniacally with desire near obsession, and even with rumors and facts about him being a murderer, you still crave him and his attention. well, look where you are now.
"hmm? my baby has something on their mind other than my cock?" he suddenly grabbed your head and pushed it towards his root making you choke.
"mrmh! ugh-uh!" you moaned through his stabs to your miserable mouth.
"ah~ ugh, babe, you're so good to me. ah, right there. graze your teeth, don't be shy. uh, ah-ah!" childe shamelessly moans, louder than your sloppy pussy being pounded by a materialized cock from his hydro vision.
"mmh! ugh, ugh-" you tried tapping his thighs but with your weakened body, it almost felt like you were provoking his weak points there.
"oh, naughty girl~ just hold still, 'm close- ah, ah, ah~♡" he started thrusting, almost shoving, almost going mad just from your mouth. you swirled your tongue all over his veins and grazed him with your teeth here and there.
he kept moaning where you were really worried that a guard will come in and investigate the slutty noises (not from you) coming out of this eminent building, currently being defiled by your and childe's fluids.
"ah! ah! ah~♡" he finally spurted out thick ropes of hot cum down your throat. the movements in your area also stopped when he saw you came, obvious from the considerable amount of liquid coming out and seeping on the already-wet floor.
"oh~ swallowing it? that was hot," he leaned down and kissed you on the cheek, then on your cum-stained lips. he has no care if your breath smells like his dick, it's another form of his marking anyway.
"ajax," you coughed, "are we done?"
"oh my sweet baby," he grabbed your face and kissed you, opting to not reply to your question. he made out with you for a bit, then opened your mouth with his tongue and proceeded to pour his saliva into yours, "better?"
"i honestly don't know if i was into that or not, but either way it did satiate the parchedness," you replied while breathing heavily while he touched your forehead with his own.
"that's good. then, my five minutes of showing you pity are over," he said.
you were confused when the hydro dick moved once more.
"wait, wait! i-i just came! ah! ahh~"
he just gazed at you fondly, caressing your alert nipples and clit at the same time, contrasting his power over the enlarged thing endlessly pushing inside your body.
"childe- ah!"
he slapped your asscheeks, making you grip his shoulders when you abruptly orgasmed. even when you came, his ministrations on your sensitive areas didn't stop.
"babe, i told you to call me by my real name, right? i gave you the honor of knowing and making you call me 'ajax,' and this is your repayment to me?" he brushed over your reddened cheeks to soothe the pain for more slaps later.
you cried from the pain, but it just sounded coquettishly to his ears, "i'm, 'm sorry. ajax, can you slow down at least? i can't! i-i'm coming again, ugh!"
you screamed, wrapping your limbs around him, not caring anymore about the guards outside, and squirted on childe's clothes. some even reaching his chin, giving rise to his ever-growing grin.
"oho~ that's the tenth time this week, no? my goal is to reach twenty until next month, but i guess i can move the deadline to tomorrow? maybe just later will suffice..."
"wha-" you didn't even get to finish your words when he yanked you close to him, pulled out the hydro dick, and pushed his own raging cock in you within one swoop.
you and him cried out, you in overstimulation and him happy just being wrapped by your hot walls. he moved his hips unendingly, biting all over your neck, chest, and even face.
"a-ajax! ah! ah! ahh!~♡"
"ah, baby! ugh, ugh!♡"
the both of you howled your moans and groans, battling the loud sounds coming from below. if the both of you were sane even just for a bit, you could have heard some movements outside the door.
"oh, babe! baby, i'm coming!" childe whimpered to your neck, feeling the overstimulation getting to him but he just can't stop jabbing his ruddy dick inside your abused hole.
"ah, ah~~~♡" you bit your lips to the point of blood coming out while tightening over the still-hard meat inside you.
gasps and heavy breaths came out the both of you, then childe clenched your cheeks and kissed you, making the both of you lose more oxygen.
you separated due to the extreme absence of oxygen in your body, but apparently, childe doesn't care as he still rushed to your luscious lips.
"oh, just wait a minute! rest for like, 30 seconds!" you breathed and childe just laughed at you.
"i'm not even the only one with you, yet your stamina is so weak! let's do marathon sex with me and-"
childe's words were cut off by the door opening, but mostly from the harsh clamping from your pussy to his dick.
"ah!" you unexpectedly squirted again, showcasing your lewd body to both men staring unabashedly.
"a marvelous spectacle along an enchanting sight too. what's the count this time?"
"eleventh, xiansheng. came to join the party?" childe laughed and set you down on the floor without pulling out from you. he started moving again in front of the other man.
"my, only eleven? i'll help you reach thirty by the time the guards wake up."
he strode to the coupling bodies in front of him with undisguised fervor, evident by the enormous tent in his trousers. you and childe were whimpering, though you were sobbing already when he kneeled on your side and let out his love instrument.
"open up for me, darling? get me moist and ready for your other hole."

Ritsu Sakuma x Reader
Note: OKAY an another Ritsu fic but this time, it's a songfic. Pls kill meheuheuehuehuheu
Okay lemme try writing for (!) era starting this year after writing a few fics that are in the (!!) timeline (Spoiler: Already did). Brainworms coming to rot my brain since I'm being productive af rn.
Translated lyrics here btw.
HEUEHUEHDHEUEHS anyways, why does the sakuma brothers have the most attractive voices I'm about to get an auralism atp. Herri not falling for the chara's voice challenge failed.
"(Name)? Why are you still... here...?" He yawned between his words. You just thought of the sleep expert you referred to and not even said his name.
Or so you thought when a sleepy, serene voice called you from the doorstep of the music room.
"Ritsu...? And why are you here...?" You asked him back and he answered, "I just woke up."
'Right... It's night time after all.'
He look at you with a questioning look. "I'll ask you again, what are you doing here?"
"I'm just... here to finish everything before the Repayment Fes." You tiredly answered. Ritsu looked at the stack of documents on your desk and wondering which are the ones you finished and are not. "That much? You'll lose yourself at this point, (Name)." He said and dragged you away from your seat. "I'll let you sleep on my coffin bed and rest. You're supposed to be with Knights by tomorrow."
Tired and sleepy, you yawned as the night arrived. How many paperworks have you done today? You've lost count. You could see the unfinished stack thanks to the moonlight's gentle glow entering the transparent glass from outside the window. Even though the unfinished ones seemed lesser than the ones you had done, you groaned in frustration and the deadline is a few days away— specifically a week before the said deadline.
An early passer you are seemed to be productive due to your insomnia. Oh how much you wanted to rest but the remaining energy and adrenaline is still coursing through every single fiber and cell of your being. As much as you wanted to get out of your overworking state weeks before the Repayment Fes, you couldn't.
"Ritsu... I'm almost done..." You tried to reach the desk but his strong grasp on you won't let you go. "Give me few more minutes... I'll be done after this..." Your body has not much strength remaining that you surrendered. "Fine... have it your way..." Ritsu grinned in victory.
He carried you on his back and brought you to his coffin bed in the music room. You somehow noticed that it was close to the piano in the room. You do know well that this is one of Ritsu's favorite napping place and the reason why the music room is one of his favorites it's because there's a piano. He placed you on the bed gently and remembered something he told you this afternoon.
"So, Ritsu, you said that you wanted to see me after Knight's live, right? But why bother seeing me to—" He immediatly laid on top of you and hugged you, making you cuddle with him.
"Good night."
That was the last thing you heard from him after he cuddled you and fell asleep on the coffin bed Rei made specifically for him. You on the other hand patted his head comfortably and lulled him to sleep.
He hugged you tightly as if he didn't want to let you go. His fear of being abandoned triggered in his sleep. He nuzzled closer and you could feel his warm breath fanning the crook of your neck. He is like a cat wanting your attention, from annoying you, interrupting your work, or cuddling you until he sleeps and never let you move as it's a golden rule for every cat owners known in the face of the earth— never move when a cat is on you.
Repayment fes is coming to a close and you've been overworking as usual. It's supposed to be special for the graduates of this year. It'll be the last time you'll get to see your senior in their green neck tie and their blue blazer. Especially Izumi and Leo, the only third years of Knights. Not to mention, you'll be the same as them next year, becoming a third year and graduate as a student of Yumenosaki Academy.
Ritsu knows you've been overworking a lot and it concerns him. He's grown attached to you ever since you became Knights' producer. Other than Mao, you were closest to him by bond that he's comfortable of sleeping with you near him. He felt safe ever since the first time he laid his head on you to rest.
The last thing Ritsu wanted is you abandoning him. He didn't want anyone to abandon him all alone when he needs you the most.
You could hear a faint humming, probably from Ritsu. You thought he's asleep but he is half-asleep. You felt your eyelids gettung heavier and closed tightly shut. Your breathing is light and slow. Your body finally felt rest after a few days of suffering from insomnia.
Your hand stop patting his head and he smiled. He didn't want you fainting in the middle of the day. Not to mention, he always want your blood fresh and sweet which it actually translates into "Go to sleep. You don't want to get an insomnia or die from blood loss." in Ritsu's language. He didn't want you to know what it actually means or he'll bite you without warning.
He continued to hum his own nocturne in midnight.
The next night, he caught you overworking again that he dragged your hand to the music room once again. Reason? It's because he wanted to show you something. That something he wanted to show you is sheets of papers, written in sloppy yet neat handwriting. Some of them are written in scribbles and random writings but most of them are understandable to read.
"Seriously?" You raised your brow. "Lyric and music sheets?" He hummed at your question. "Another Knights song? Did you steal this from Senior Tsukinaga?"
"More like I wrote that." He retorted and you chortled. You read the lyrics and let out a smug smirk. "This seemed like it's written for Isara. That dedicated?"
"I rather bite you than admitting for who I wrote the song for." He looked at you annoyed and you ignored it with a hum.
'Midnight Nocturne...' You read the name of the song written on the lyric sheet. You turned the page behind the lyric sheet and what was revealed to you is a music sheet for piano. 'I couldn't even read this...' You received a few lessons from Leo and tried to understand the music sheet from the genius but as a result, all of those went out of the window.
"I'm going to play." Ritsu said and sat on the piano stool. "If you fall asleep, I'll have you as my pillow until we graduate."
"Alright. I won't sleep. I promise." You hummed in response and ignored him. For sure you'll be punished by him if you provoked him too much. But Ritsu, this time, he'll let it slide.
He placed his fingers on the piano keys and pressed it with grace. A melody came out of the piano and it caught your attention. It sounded gentle and comfortable, just like the pianist.
You remembered him humming the same song before cuddling you to sleep every late nights. Somehow, it became your lullaby from him.
The moonlight shines upon my fingertips, the stave whirling into the night
Trapped in the forest of sleep, I think of you whom I can't be with
He can see himself in the middle of the forest, where the moonlight shined upon him. He can see himself reaching his hand to the gentle rays that peeked through the leaves of the trees and cupped it as if he held it like the knight he is.
His body asleep, yet his soul awake. He is trapped in there while you remained in his deepest thoughts in the midst of his sea of memories. The only thing he felt in his sleepy journey is your presence, where he can only feel even without you near him.
I feel you beside me, in this darkness where there is no one else
He pressed the keys, releasing a beautiful melody from the piano. All he could think of is you whenever he sang this song. You beside him, you sleeping with him, and him in your arms, where he felt safe from all of his worries in his sleep.
He sounded like he longed for someone, someone he couldn't see but he felt their presence. Though alone, he will always feel that someone is beside him.
Your beautiful smile, it's like it could melt into the sun
Ritsu can only think of your smile. Your smile brightened his sleepy nights. Whenever you wake him up, he only thought of your smile. He only search for your smile when he wakes up and it happened when you saw him awake from his slumber.
"Ritsu..." You quietly muttered his name. You are listening to... his song. A song made by him and him alone.
Even in a world where we cannot intermingle
I am not alone right now
Though close by distance, you are too far for him to reach. It's as if you're worlds apart.
In the dead of night, with my sleeping breath, Song for you
Because I'm singing a melody that brings us together
He glanced at you and the moment he was about to, you are sitting beside him and laid your head on his shoulder. He smiled at his own progress. He was far from ending it yet he knows it touched your heart. It's just like how Knights' songs touched heart
And how your presence touched his own.
His voice sounded like a lullaby, calm and gentle, like a mother lulling their baby to sleep. But him, it's in his quiet nature. It left you in a daze, letting you enter your own reverie.
Just my piano, the moon and you, in a transparent sky
You can imagine yourself leaning on the piano as he played it under the starry sky. The water rippling at your every movement and mirroring the sky. It feels like a dream. You held out your hand as if to reach the stars. You are on your toes, aiming higher to reach it. A shooting star showed up on your view and your eyes sparkled more than the starry sky.
They simply kept existing kindly in the depths of my heart
The way he saw your smile made his night even more beautiful. His serenade made you wander in his dreams. His nocturne made you dance as your feet on the water created ripples in its wake.
While the tedium persists, by letting my fingers dance
His fingers danced on the keys. It so graceful that it speaks out, "It's my music, my song, and my piano. A melody that I own alone."
I come to know a sadness that resembles feelings of unrequited love, but
A drop of water fell from the sky. You held out your hand and it became a light shower. You felt like rain existed in your imagination. It touched your heart. It felt that sorrow and loneliness embraced him and you.
Even in a world that we cannot share, I won't lose sight of you
You felt like your body was swayed by the wind. You realized that it's Ritsu dancing with you. He turned you for a spin and held you close to him.
His first dance is his last in your reverie, but it will remain as a memory.
No matter where you are, an unchanging Song for you
He cupped your cheek and held you tighter on his embrace, as if he didn't want to let you go. You held the hand that cupped your cheek and let out a sigh of content, which you let out in your dreams and in reality.
Because I'm singing an eternal promise
You felt your eyelids became heavy and your heart beating loudly, loud enough for him to hear. Your souls are dancing but you remained there right beside him, listening to his nocturne.
Even if you can't hear me, I'm right here
Because even if I can't reach you, we're always together
'I know, Ritsu...' You answered him in your thoughts, hoping that he knew the same.
The pale blue moon connects us
Now, close your eyes and let us sing
"Even in a world where we cannot intermingle," You sang while he continued to play the piano. He let out a smile and continued for you. "Once again, towards the night you see somewhere."
"In the dead of night, with my sleeping breath, Song for you," He heard you hum along as he sang. He could hear you sing clearly. You remembered the very last line that etched in your mind for this very moment.
"Because I'm singing a melody that brings us together..."
Ritsu let out a finishing set of notes and his hand left the piano keys. He heard light breathing from beside him. He turned his head to see you're sleeping on his shoulder with a smile.
He chuckled lightly and patted your head.
"Sweet dreams, (Name)."

Debt delinquency in Brazil rises in October driven by low-income households
High interest rates added strain to debt repayment for Brazilian lower-income households
The share of indebted Brazilians who reported missing payment deadlines increased from 29% to 29.3% between September and October, according to the Consumer Debt and Default Survey (PEIC), although this remains below the October 2023 level of 29.7%, according to data from the National Confederation of Commerce of Goods, Services, and Tourism (CNC), which released the survey on Tuesday (5). Meanwhile, the proportion of indebted families dropped slightly from 77.2% in September to 76.9% in October, the same level as in October 2023.
The CNC noted an uptick in the number of individuals who reported an inability to meet their financial obligations, with this figure rising from 12.4% to 12.6%, although still below the 13% share from October last year.
Low-income families were identified as the primary driver behind the increase in defaults last month. Among those with monthly incomes of up to three minimum wages, the percentage with overdue debt reached 37.7% in October, up from 37.2% in September and equal to October 2023.

Millions of Americans strapped with student loan debt are still not paying their bills after a three-year payment hiatus ended this fall.
Federal student loan payments restarted at the beginning of October after President Biden declined to extend the pandemic-era pause that first began in March 2020 under his predecessor, former President Trump.
However, 40% of the 22 million borrowers who had bills due failed to make a payment as of mid-November, according to a new report published by the Department of Education. That means about 9 million Americans who have payments due are not making them.
The figure does not include borrowers who are still in school or who recently left and do not yet owe payments, or whose payment deadlines were extended due to loan servicing errors.
"While most borrowers have already made their first payment, others will need more time," Education Department Under Secretary James Kvaal wrote in the report. "Some are confused or overwhelmed about their options. We want to make sure borrowers know that our top priority is to support student loan borrowers as they return to repayment."
Although payments did not officially restart until the beginning of October, interest began accruing again on Sept. 1. As a result, borrowers who do not make payments now will see their payments continue to grow.
MANY STUDENT LOAN BORROWERS UNSURE HOW THEY’LL RESTART PAYMENTS AFTER PAUSE ENDS, SURVEY SAYS
The average monthly bill hovers between $200 and $299 per person, although it is even higher for some borrowers, according to the most recent Federal Reserve data.
Collectively, borrowers resumed paying about $10 billion a month in October, according to a separate analysis from JPMorgan.
The resumption of student loan payments comes as consumers continue to face sky-high interest rates and chronic inflation, which has rapidly eroded their purchasing power. Experts say the addition of student loan payments could deliver a financial shock to millions of Americans – and hinder their ability to shop at big-name stores like Target, Nike, Under Armour and Gap.
Many borrowers hoped that their loans would be wiped out, but the Supreme Court earlier this year struck down Biden's student loan forgiveness plan that would have erased up to $20,000 in loans per borrower.
Since then, the White House has announced other efforts to reduce student loan debt, including erasing $127 billion of debt owed by about 3.6 million borrowers.

In today's fast-paced world, getting a short term loans UK has proven to be quite difficult for everyone. Many people lack any bank-related cards. If you are authorized for the loan and pass all of our credit checks, you might have access to same day loans UK in your bank on the same day that you apply. A Payday Quid loan might be an easy and quick option to receive the money you need to cover unforeseen expenses. We will always make responsible loans, and our interest rates are competitive. Does taking out a Short Term Loans improve my credit score?
Whether short term loans direct lenders are beneficial or bad for your credit rating is a topic that is frequently debated. On the surface, obtaining a loan and properly managing it—that is, making all of the repayments on time—should improve your credit score because it shows that you can handle your money and borrow responsibly.
However, a lot of other lenders (apart from short-term loans lenders) view the usage of short-term loans as an indication that you are not good with money and that you might be too risky to lend to.
We are aware that, even if a borrower has utilized payday loan or short-term loans in the past, mortgage lenders are especially wary of them. Before applying, you should consider the dangers associated with obtaining short term loans UK. If you plan to apply for a mortgage soon, you might want to consider your options first.
Applications for short term loans UK direct lender are typically sent directly to the lender; however you can expedite the process by utilizing our price comparison.
You may go straight to the lender's website and continue doing business with them after we compare all of the top lenders in the UK and determine which one is the cheapest for the loan you're searching for.

Job huuuuuunt / career feelings
I'm basically facing the inevitability that I really cannot afford to try and go full-time freelancing right now. Even if I miraculously made all the connections I need at PAX and other conventions (which is unrealistic, it takes time to build up that kind of network), having an irregular income would make it almost impossible to figure out a loan repayment system that makes sense for my student loans, and those things are gonna be hanging over my head forever at that rate because I went to an expensive art school, which makes a lot of things difficult down the line. Trying to swing this would be the most short-sighted approach, which to date is basically how I've lived my life (and frankly I have no regrets about any of it) but I'm thinking now might be the time to think a little farther ahead.
I am serious about starting my own game studio in like ~5-10 years (or however long it takes). I am serious about finishing an episode of Amadeus every year for the next 5 years so that in 5 years I will have shipped a whole and complete game all by myself. No matter what the fuck else is on my plate, I am dead serious about those two things.
HOWEVER, if I want to start my own game studio in like ~5-10 years, that is going to be basically impossible if I'm still paying off my student loans. How am I supposed to deal with paying other people and figuring out business expenses if I'm still in a shitload of debt because I've been kind of pretending it doesn't exist and paying the minimum for as long as I can get away with? So I figure... shit, maybe it actually makes sense to go back to IT, and while I'm still living with my mom and saving a shitload on rent, basically live as frugally as possible and try to pay off the loans as fast as possible. I just applied to a county job where I live, and I could actually pay off my kind of massive loans in like... 2 years if I spend like I'm unemployed and work full-time.
This wasn't my favorite option but I'm warming up to it. One reason I wanted to avoid it is that I've grown SO MUCH as an artist the past 2 years because I've been working full-time ON ART; whereas if I'm working full-time doing literally anything else, such as in IT, I'm afraid I'll lose the skills I've been working so hard on (and uhh paid out the ass for). But on the other hand... shit, if I were to get a full-time job at an indie game studio, wouldn't that kind of be the same shit? Sure it would be a creative job, but it would still be working 40 hours a week on someone else's project. I still would have to develop Amadeus exclusively in my spare time/off hours. Also, frankly, the game audio job market is absolute ass, and I'm jaded to fuck and back after 2 months of trying to land something despite being - if I may be honest - insanely fucking qualified.
This is only going to work, though, if I am REALLY REALLY DISCIPLINED about working on Amadeus in my spare time. I cannot have it be a "ohhh if I have energy for it today" thing or it will never get finished. I'm making a calendar of monthly benchmarks for the game to ship episode 1 next summer, and even if I am working full-time in an IT role, I need to make sure I meet those benchmarks. Because if I ONLY pay off my loans but DON'T WORK ON THIS GAME TOO, that will be a waste of my education. I need to keep this up, no matter what.
I actually think that I can, though. Like I think this is something I can do. I have the ability to see things through when I am really, really serious about them; and I am really, really serious about this. Like I can see myself calling in to work and staying home to work on Amadeus if I have a deadline I'm not on track for.
So basically.... I might be committing to working really hard for 2 years for the payoff of a) no student debt and b) 2/5 shipped episodes of Amadeus. That puts me in a way better position 2 years out to decide what I want to do. If I can stick it out for closer to 3 years, then on top of paying off my loans, I can start building savings... and then "someday starting a game studio" starts to look more and more like a possibility.
Amadeus is my passion project, something that means the entire world to me, something I need to finish for my own personal happiness. But I also think that if, by the time I've finished it, I also am completely debt free and perhaps even have savings.... then maybe it can also be my gateway to launch that studio.
I don't know. I'm really not good at planning for the future. A 5-year plan is brand new for me and the only reason I'm considering it is because I'm serious about this visual novel I'm making. But... I think I finally came to terms with the fact that, you know, it's okay if maybe my composition skills slide a little bit while I'm working IT full-time. Because: they can, and will, come back.
I'm currently in the best cello shape I have been in my entire life, after like 8 years of neglecting cello completely. All it took was regular practicing and now it's back and better than ever. The same will be true for composition. I'm sure if I work IT full-time I will lose it a little, even if I offset that loss by working on Amadeus (which will obviously need music). But once I've paid my loans, when I'm ready to dedicate myself to it again, it WILL come back. I took meticulous notes in grad school and saved all of my most valuable homework assignments. I can re-learn it. I'm only 30 and my life is only beginning.
It's okay if I lose it a little bit, so long as I make sure to get it back.

Damn… we could have written MTMTE better when it comes to aspects we didn’t like…
Well, to be fair, we don't have editors breathing down our necks, strict deadlines, and only 20-22 pages of comic to work with an issue.
On the flipside, JRo definitely should have been way more economical with his plots and subplots. Balancing 20+ main characters is extremely difficult even for the most advanced writers.
Everyone wants to have a Zuko redemption arc, but forget that it was very purposefully planned from the beginning that he would be redeemed. Also he was a child abused by his father and raised to be ignorant of how the rest of the world sees the Fire Nation. He wasn't the true antagonist of season 1. Admiral Zhao was.
I also feel like a genuine redemption requires a repayment of what was done. You say something mean that hurts someone's feelings? You tell them you're sorry, you were wrong to say that. You break someone's belongings? You say you're sorry and do what you can to replace it. So on and so on... But what do you do to repay a life that was lost? 10 lives? Thousands? Millions? How do you repay that? There's nothing you can do to bring them back, no amount of apologies or money can bring back that life.
It's one of the things I really appreciate about Pyra Magna in IDW2. She knows she cannot redeem herself for taking the lives she did, no matter how just she may have felt at the time. All she can do is move forward and, when someone comes calling to make her repay, accept judgment. (I also appreciate that she did not take Cyclonus not killing her as forgiveness, just that now would not be the right time.)
