What you want is just as important as what she wants. I won't tell you how to start or what a good point to start at is, because she probably has her own ideas and wants already. Sunday July 2nd | Airkewld HQ | 1958 Classic VW Beetle Chassis Air Ride Mock Up

Working on a 1958 Ragtop Beetle Chassis from an amazing friend, DJTonyG. The PRO’s are installing a Complete PRObuilt Air Ride Kit - 1050 on it which comes with a Stage 2 PRObuilt Beam that is narrowed 4” and has our PRObuilt steering system on it. They installed a set of GEN 2 BAD Series Brakes in Wide 5 to get some rollers on the repanned chassis.

A PRObuilt Performance Transaxle with short axles was used in the back, also with GEN 2 disc brakes and solid mounts. Sometime in this chassis life, someone updated the nose cone mount, which caught me off guard. Takes a totally different nose cone and trans mount. But we got it figured out.

The Classic VW rear swing axle rear air ride kit is be utilized as we bolted the shorter shocks on with our stainless shocks bolts. They used stainless hardware to affix the trans to the spring plates for the exact fit we were after.

GX Finalized-Subs!102 (WIP): With Heart and Soul

Getting some work started on 102-104, and I thought I'd try applying a translation to the... staff? (not quite sure what it's called) Manjoume carries here which spells out 一意専心/"ichiisenshin"/"with [one's] heart and soul." Do we think this looks good here? I cut out each individual kanji into their own layer that I then used to align the text with as much as I could, then applied a little gaussian blur and noise for blending; figured with this being a cultural reference (apparently the Thunder banners everyone's carrying can also be taken to be a slight reference to the heavy mikoshi used during Shinto festivals in Japan [and with Manjoume seeming like a god here to the Blues, I guess it fits lol]), I'd keep the Japanese and layer the translation on top, just making it so rather than being read right/down/left it's left/down/right (I also slightly moved the 一 kanji up to that end since it was lightly off-center). The font calls back to the old edit done for the Fighting Spirit banner in episode 9 (thanks to Kay again for helping out with that!), since I thought it'd also fit here.

Did think to see how it looked without the kanji there, too...

...but I do think the former looks better--think it carries a bit more oomph to it as something he's bringing into this fight than the staff just having the English on it, lol.

Hoping it does look good; will now probably crop it out for manipulation in AfterEffects to get the angle/zoom looking good as he walks up with it and repan this frame along the rest of this shot, then I'll work it into the other two shots it's in.

Ida Mahendra Jaya melanjutkan program Tim Penggerak PKK yang berfokus melakukan pengentasan terhadap angka stunting dan kemiskinan ekstrem. Bersinergi dengan instansi terkait, Pj Ketua TP PKK Provinsi Bali melaksanakan kegiatan "Berkunjung dan Berbagi TP PKK Provinsi Bali", di Wantilan Pura Gunung Raung, Desa Taro, Kecamatan Tegallalang, Gianyar, Jumat (3/11/2023). Pada kesempatan ini, Ny. drg. Ida Mahendra Jaya dalam sambutannya memaparkan, bahwa stunting sangat terkait dengan tumbuh kembang anak. "Saya mengapresiasi ibu-ibu yang sudah merawat anaknya dengan baik. Kami hadir disini untuk melihat langsung kondisi balita dan Tim Pendamping Keluarga. Dengan kekompakan ini, persoalan-persoalan stunting yang ada dapat terselesaikan,” ungkapnya. Lebih lanjut disampaikannya, bahwa hal ini dilakukan karena tidak ingin anak-anak penerus bangsa khususnya di Bali memiliki masa depan yang tidak pasti akibat gangguan tumbuh kembang pada fisik dan mentalnya, yang mengakibatkan mereka tidak dapat berkompetisi dan hidup layak seperti anak-anak lainnya. "Saya titip tolong dijaga dan dirawat dengan baik anak-anak generasi penerus kita, agar tidak stunting. Oleh sebab itu perlu dilakukan sosialisasi tentang "Porsi Isi Piringku" yang terdiri dari makanan pokok, yakni sumber karbohidrat dengan porsi 2/3 dari 1/2 piring, lalu di lengkapi dengan lauk pauk 1/3 dari 1/2 piring, sedangkan untuk setengah piring lainnya diisi dengan proporsi sayur-sayuran 2/3 dan buah-buahan 1/3," ungkapnya. "Untuk anak-anak yang berpotensi stunting dan sudah stunting, penanganannya dilakukan melalui intervensi gizi spesifik untuk mengatasi penyebab langsung dan intervensi gizi sensitif untuk mengatasi penyebab tidak langsung. Karenanya pada kesempatan ini, kami hadir disini lengkap, dari kesehatan, ketahanan pangan, pemberdayaan masyarakat desa, kelautan/perikanan, dan pengurus PKK. Pada kesempatan ini, Tim Penggerak PKK Provinsi Bali menyerahkan bantuan kepada lima puluh (50) balita berisiko stunting yang berasal dari Banjar Pakuseba, Banjar Puakan, Banjar Taro Kaja, Banjir Taro Kelod dan Banjar Ked di Desa Taro, Tegallalang, Gianyar. Bantuan yang diserahkan hari ini berupa telur 500 butir, bibit ayam kampung 50 ekor dan bibit cabe 500 pohon oleh Kepala Dinas Pertanian dan Ketahanan Pangan Provinsi Bali kepada Penjabat Ketua Tim Penggerak PKK Kabupaten Gianyar, paket yang berisi sarden ABC (3 kaleng), ikan tuna 500 gram, ikan tongkol 1 kg, ikan layang 500 gram dan susu 1 liter yang diserahkan oleh Kepala Dinas Kelautan dan Perikanan Provinsi Bali, serta paket bantuan yang berisi beras 5 kg, telur 1 krat, susu 6 kotak dan sikat beserta pasta gigi yang diserahkan oleh Penjabat Ketua Tim Penggerak PKK Provinsi Bali kepada warga yang berhak menerima. Setelah menyerahkan bantuan kepada 47 anak berpotensi stunting di Wantilan, Pj Ketua TP PKK Bali, Ny. drg. Ida Mahendra Jaya didampingi pengurus TP PKK Provinsi Bali dan Kabupaten Gianyar melanjutkan kunjungan kepada 2 balita yakni I Wayan Repan Pratama (2 tahun) dan Wayan Palguna (1 tahun 6 bulan) dengan kondisi berat badan dan tinggi badan yang tidak sesuai (berisiko stunting) dan 1 balita stunting. Hi there. My name's Ash and I like to make fun little eyeshadow palettes in my limited free time. I made this one at 11:30 PM, after deciding that I could be more productive while avoiding going to bed (as opposed to simply doom scrolling through YouTube shorts).

One of my favorite things about color is how some contrast, yet compliment one another, and finding ways to bring those contrasting colors together in one palette. In this case, pastel green and bubblegum pink. Both are soft, bright colors at opposite sides of the color wheel. The somewhat muted, indigo-leaning blues sit in between pink and green, which I thought gave them an interesting way to connect.

And, yes, I could have used yellow. I tried putting yellow in, but it began to feel to close to a rainbow palette, so I instead opted for a matte white and an iridescent glitter with a white/clear base color. The matte white felt more versatile and, I feel, highlights the colors around it, instead of competing with them like the yellow did.

As for the metallics, I decided to go with a light green duochrome metallic that has a more subtle pink shift, a white duochrome with a really strong pink shift (also, the base color essentially disappears when applied, so it comes off more like a sheer metallic pink), and a multichrome that shifts pink, purple, blue, and green. In retrospect, the multichrome and green duochrome are probably too similar to warrant them being in the same palette, especially with how small it is, but I liked having a metallic with some blue in it without being a blue metallic. The glitter also adds an extra hint of blue.

(I have a slight tremor in my hands, and it apparently didn't like how I was trying to get a straight on picture of the palette. Apologies for the blurriness.)

She’d always thought she’d be a forever home for someone. Someone who would fill the larder, put up cheerful curtains, hoe out a proper kitchen garden, and set a rocking chair or two on the screened porch. But it wasn’t to be. Again and again. Then she thought that perhaps, just perhaps, she could settle for being a boarding-house. People who would light her hearths and sit by the fire, sharing stories and their warmth for a spell. Perhaps some would even have children who would play hide and seek in her nooks and crannies. In the end, it turned out people didn’t see her that way. They came and went, came and went, some more slowly than the others, but ultimately they always left, taking pieces of her with them. It wasn’t intentional, perhaps, but people never realized what it cost a place to shelter them, to painstakingly eke out sustenance to feed them, the harrowing process of condensing potable water for their use, and even without all that… People didn’t think about water marks on wood, or rough-soled shoes on her floors or even the mud and grit they tracked in and dabbled all over her lovely linens. Serai was born with magic. Weren’t they all? But a place once a place and no longer, say, a forest glade, only had as much magic as their caretakers gifted them. And it’d been a long time since a person had given her enough magic. She didn’t ask for much. Just enough to patch the roof. Or repane the windows. But it wasn’t to be and she found herself sinking into sleep more and more frequently. She kept her door unlocked. Because what if.
