So Kaos was cancelled....yk, one of the best shows Netflix has put out in years.

Fans are rallying to get it renewed via change.org, we'd really appreciate it more people signed the petition! Even if you haven't watched it..please sign 🥺

It's one of the most accurate Greek mythology adaptations I've seen in years - I've described it to various people that it's like if Percy Jackson grew up.. or Neon Gods, PJO and the Apprentice of Anubis series had a mashup series. Greek gods running around modern society and causing ....kaos.

i know it's kinda mean of me but i hope seeing so many queer shows fall like dominoes is waking people up to the fact representation is vanishing fast. and there's a reason, more than any one studio or one showrunner.

like kaos does look really great i fucking love mythology and i will probably watch it eventually!! this is annoyance at netflix not kaos as a show, it's just pissing me off a bit that they're giving this show SO much more attention and promotion than dead boy detectives got when they seem to have somewhat similar themes and target audiences

I think it was such an interesting choice to take Caeneus (a warrior with invulnerable skin) and make him a character whose kindness and vulnerability are his emotional strength in Kaos. Very tasty thematic subversion.

Hadn't been on the hellscape that is twitter/x since 2019. But Netflix is cancelling such interesting shows and it's actually getting a bit concerning how quickly they do it now. I've genuinely not had time to watch Kaos and I already hear it's cancelled 🙄

If they add more of the Pantheon into the next season and don’t include Artemis being a badass ace lesbian with her girl gang of nymphs, I don’t want it. I want to see them teaming up with the furies to deliver a swift beating to rapists and other assorted shitheels before the furies do their thing. Dionysus keeps her informed on any shady shit happening in the clubs. Apollo is definitely running recon at any concerts he attends/participates in. Hermes passes the information along, but only after he finds whatever fuckface he’s snitching on to his crazy-ass sister and steals their phone, keys, and wallet (possibly also their flask 👀 and any other ✨assorted substances✨). Athena is very proud

at some point, creators are just going to stop pitching their show ideas to Netflix (or other streaming platforms), right? like if they want multiple seasons, if they want to tell a story in more than eight episodes, they're just going to go elsewhere. And then this cycle will end and we will all be free.
