🔬The fic you had to make the most research for?

Oh, Purpose of Heritage for sure. Collateral involved more canon research just because I had never written a Star Wars fic before and really only had movie knowledge (I swore I wasn't going to do a lot of canon research when I set out to write that story, but I can't quit looking things up even if I decide I'm not going to use it), but for PoH I've had to research some canon/planet stuff plus the effects of stimulant withdrawal, the order of military ranks, general first aid stuff, hypothermia treatment, "buddy" blood transfusions, terms for various parts of naval ships since those same terms are used for space ships in the Star Wars universe, what a bunk on a navy ship looks like, and I'm sure there'll be more in the future.

🌾 A fic you really want to write but you haven’t (yet)?

I've technically started this one, but it's way on the backburner so it has all of 600 words written and I'm not actively working on it. I had this AU idea about a universe in which Vader and Leia know how they're related starting when she's like 11. It's supposed to be pretty silly, but it's definitely going to be a multi-chapter, and I can't devote the time to it that I'd prefer to right now because I'm working on other stuff. So, it'll have to wait. But I do plan on writing it!

Also, I don't know if I'll ever do this because I don't really get into any time period past maybe half a decade after ROTJ, but I think the idea of Poe Dameron growing up with Kylo Ren Ben Solo as like the annoying younger honorary cousin he has to play with because he's Auntie Leia's kid and Shara is very insistent that he be nice to him even if the cape is a little off-putting makes their introduction in TFA infinitely funnier and I would love to write a one-shot around that concept.

Big Bang Theory DR 🔬

And yes, I did script Eddie into this DR, because… why not? ✨

This is one of my three Cozy DR’s, along with Community 📝 and Stardew Valley 🌾

I’ve scripted myself as Sheldon’s cousin. Growing up, my family would visit the Cooper’s in Texas a lot and occasionally they’d visit us in Ireland.

I eventually move over to America. Having done my A Levels back home, I got a scholarship opportunity to study abroad to pursue my Bachelor’s Degree, which eventually leads to a Master’s Degree. I’ll be studying Folklore and Mythology. My family feels more comfortable with me moving to Pasadena, because at least I know someone there… even if it is Sheldon 😂

I’ll be moving into apartment 5A instead of Alicia, if anyone remembers her.

Yeah, rival blonde girl. So she’s being scripted out completely. Instead it’ll be me in the apartment and instead of rivalling with Penny, we’re gonna quickly become friends.

For one, we’re both the only non-scientists in the group (at first) and that’s even before Bernadette and Amy come into the picture. But also we’re both creative and spiritual people. We’ll get to go to yoga and pilates together ✨

Now, how will Eddie fit into all this, you might ask? Well…

Since I am also a nerd, I join the guys in a lot of their activities from attending Comic Con’s and Ren Faire’s to playing D&D, gaming, etc. This also includes going to the Comic Book store. From this, I get to know Stuart quite well, to the point where we’ll chat when I’m in and he’ll hold things over for me. (I’ve scripted out his weird change of character, so he’ll actually talk to me and other women normally like he did when first introduced.)

On one of our trips there, he’ll inform us that his cousin is moving out here to pursue his music career with a friend (my darling Jeffrey ✨) and he’s gonna be working at the store for awhile until he gets settled. He also happens to be an excellent Dungeon Master, so he’ll be looking for players to start a campaign with when he’s here. Sheldon, being as intolerant of change as he is, initially rejects the idea, until everyone else says they’d be up for it (and receives a threatening glare from me), so he begrudgingly agrees.

And the rest is (will be) history ✨

Eddie and Jeff will both become permanent members of our friend group after that, so more non-scientists!

I’m very excited for this DR! This is one I have had for awhile now, but hadn’t felt the need to shift to for quite some time. That was until recently, my cat hadn’t been well and I was severely stressed and anxious from that. So I got back into it and watching it really helped a lot to distract me and take my mind off things. So, of course, the urge to shift there has sparked back up again as a result. Right now, my more action packed DR’s will take a backseat, I need good vibes and fun times ⚛️

Get to Know Norah Lee Part 3

🎂- When is your MCs birthday and why did you pick it?

Norah was born on January 17. You just do the math on the year. I picked the date mostly for Astrology reasons. I wanted her to be an Aquarius because a lot of people that I think are really cool, talented, and attractive (specifically Jaehyun of NCT, Ren Meguro, Ryo Yoshizawa, Freddy Carter) are all Aquariuses. So why not make Norah cool and attractive? LOL

🌈- What’s your MCs favorite color and why would they love it so much?

Norah loves green because it reminds her of her favorite dress when she was a child. It was an emerald green and the fact that she's always been told that she looks good in the color, while also coincidentally getting sorted into Slytherin, is another reason why she loves it.

🕰️- What’s your MCs backstory?

Norah is the daughter of squibs. Both parents are squibs, so naturally they thought their daughter is also a squib until her 15th birthday hit when the ancient magic abilities suddenly came in. The rest is history.

👨- What’s your MCs relationship with their father (if applicable)?

She has an okay relationship with her father, Makoto. Although she does resent him a little for not telling her all about his family and the kind of family she came from. It's also out of shame because Makoto is the only squib in his family of pureblooded wizards in Japan. But because Makoto is a prominent finance man in the muggle world, he doesn't get to spend time with her but he does support her in whatever she does.

👩- What’s your MCs relationship with their mother (if applicable)? 

Similar to her father, Norah has an okay relationship with her mother Judy. Judy isn't as ashamed of her being a squib, although there is some resentment there as well from both sides - Norah not knowing where she comes from, and Judy for not having a magical ability like her own daughter. Still, that doesn't stop Judy from expressing her support in whatever way she can. And because Judy also works in finance (this is a modern day HC), she also tries to spend time with Norah as much as she can despite her busy schedule.

👫- Does your MC have siblings and how do they get along?

Norah Lee is an only child. In recent years, when she meets Naru Hiiragi, who turns out to be her paternal cousin, he becomes somewhat of a sibling to her rather than just a relative. He teaches her protego diabolica after all.

🧓- What’s your MCs relationship with their grandparents (if applicable)?

I've kind of fleshed out Norah's relationship with her father's side in a post somewhere. But she doesn't have much of a relationship with them given that she's never met them until one time in her life, she's already married to Ominis, and they needed to go to Japan for a will reading.

🥰- Does your MC have a partner and if so what are they like together?

Norah's partner is none other than Ominis Gaunt himself. The two of them together are calm. Even when they have some disagreements, Norah and Ominis manage to never raise their voices at each other. But if you read Yule Balls and Old Foes, it took a helluva lot of time for them to become more than friends in a span of two years.

🫣- What is your MCs biggest regret?

Not protecting Lodgok and not saving Professor Fig when she could've easily summoned him away from the falling stone slabs.

👨‍⚖️- What is your MCs opinion on the Ministry?

She has a neutral opinion of the Ministry. She doesn't particularly like a certain sub-section of the Ministry a.k.a the police because of Officer Singer. But she also knows they exist for a good reason and that there are still good apples in the bunch.

🐉- Is your MC good with beasts?

She is. She's given human names to the beasts out of amusement. But she does call the Lord of the Shore, His Lordship. But don't count on Norah to be on a mission to solely save beasts, though.

🌾- Is your MC good at Herbology?

Norah's okay with Herbology.

📚- What is your MCs favorite subject?

Charms. She's always up for learning new spells. Potions comes a close second because Professor Sharp happened to teach her two most favorite spells when in combat.

🧑‍💼- What is your MCs adult job?

Spoiler ahead for Yule Balls!

Believe it or not, Norah has chosen to be a shop owner in Hogsmeade alongside Ominis. She knows Ominis has also wanted to work at a pub in Hogsmeade, but because he faked his death to live his life with Norah, he chose to help her and Penny run the shop. It's full of knick-knacks and she also supplies merchants and potioneers with acromantula and spider venom.

But she joins Caleb in his private investigator work from time to time.

She values her friendships as well as love. But most of all, she prioritizes the community that she found herself belonging in.

👯- In their group of friends, what role do they play in their lives? If not applicable, in general what role do they play around others?

I think Norah's the type to be like "you do you unless you're hurting others."

Professor Aesop Sharp. He's so done with her, but she finds it so funny when she bothers him.

Everyone. Especially her friends. They've all taught her important things.

Rescuing the phoenix.

She's anxious and quiet. She tends to spiral into a cycle of overthinking.

She's a tad spicy in a sense that when she got tipsy for the first time in Hogsmeade with Garreth, she allowed him to kiss her. That would become sort of a foreshadowing of what would be a spicy friendship later on in seventh year.

😵- If your MC suddenly died, how would their loved ones and friends react?

If Norah died, aside from her parents being beside themselves with grief, Sebastian, Ominis, and Natty might feel the impacts of this the most because they've all lost important people in their lives, and Norah's become one of those.

📖- Do you have any non-MC characters, and if so, tell me about them!

Yes! I have three more, and with Norah, they make up my quartet. One in each house.

Adele Kang - Gryffindor. The jock. Quidditch team captain. Held the best flying times before Imelda beat her (she's also her biggest rival before Norah came along). Ends up with Sebastian.

Henry Abbott - Ravenclaw. Comes from THE Abbott family. Prefect. The Hot One. Intelligent. Eventual Head Boy. Been dating Natty since sixth year.

Caleb Revri - Hufflepuff. The Artsy one. Reads obscure wizarding magazines and listens to Erik Satie. Dresses like an Ashwinder and unfortunately gets mistaken for one outside Hogwarts.

👜- What is your MCs most prized possession?

Her wand!

🦇- How does your MCs powers- be that Ancient Magic or otherwise- affect their day to day life?

It doesn't, although she's afraid of invoking it when Lucan decides to have her go in Crossed Wands again.

Not really. I haven't thought of it that way.

Bangers and mash! With pumpkin pasties as a sweet treat. Fizzing whizzbees too.

Both. She grew up in Mayfair, so she knows what it's like to be fancy. But in the wizarding world, she likes to keep it simple.

When Professor Fig died. The whole Ranrok ordeal, to be honest.

She does. That's why a lot of people fancy her.

Yes and no. For the things I mentioned earlier.

Norah's boggart takes the form of Professor Fig. She's haunted by the memory of them in the caverns so she feels like it's her fault that he died.

(Her parents are in) finance, (so Norah has a) trust fund, (she's not) 6'5 (nor does she have) blue eyes.

Yes and no.

It would take a loooooot. Like if they hurt her so badly, that's probably when she'd consider it. But I don't think she ever will.

Flying, reading murder mystery books.

To live a simple life and to practice magic to do some good.

Very sheltered. She did grow up amongst the super privileged, so she was a fancy child.

She doesn't like it. She didn't think it was an actual thing until she came to Hogwarts and got to know Ominis.

Ominis, initially, not wanting to pursue any relationship out of vowing to end his family's legacy.

She originally didn't see a problem with using it unless absolutely necessary at first, but now she mostly avoids it.

She's alright. It's really her parents that kind of insist she wear the latest things. But she still keeps things simple. In the modern day, she'd be an example of quiet luxury.

Not as much as Sebastian.

Yep! She's fancied by a lot.

Kinda terrible mental health. She has a tendency to isolate a lot when things aren't going well. She has trouble asking for help. She's quite a people-pleaser especially after getting branded the Hero of Hogwarts.

Sorry I'm the same person from the last ask (the fly long one) and I just had a few ideas you could use (if u want ofc) maybe your characters exist in a garden or smth and it could be called "prairie grove". The people on your Instagram (the sun, the sky, the willow etc.) Can be the creators of said garden and the main ocs can be their creations made to tell their tales. Maybe time works differently or there is no time at all and no one ages. They tell the stories, go on adventures and that could bring a plot point of them wondering what the point is cuz they don't age and just keep telling the tales over and over. Maybe if they dont tell the tales the sun, the sky, the willow etc. Will seize to exist because the past is only what we pass on yk. For the masks, maybe make them more abstract and make them combined with an animal AND an element like the sun + an animal for example. Maybe they only wear them while performing. And the designs are beautiful but some features just scream yaelokre. I suggest searching up goblincore costumes, cottagecore costumes, and maybe even cosplays from things like ren fair and taking inspiration for that. Maybe mix different time periods maybe make it look like a mix of cottage/goblincore + ancient Rome for example or 1700s just some suggestions. Btw you can 100% use any of these ideas idc I'll never need them cuz if write contemporary stories anyway. Okay, happy storytelling, friend 🌾🐐

hi again!! youre kinda spot on with what you said in the beginning, the land they live on is called “The Heartlands” and The Cradle, created by the Mother/willowfolk is a safe haven almost from outside evils.

and for the 4 main characters, they are human (for the time being maybe) and are kinda like descendants/some sort of tie to the icons - at least for the willowfolk named Indego; the willowfolk can see/hear the winds (crossroads) and they help spread song.

everything else you stated is basically what im trying to go for, and all my art are all early rough ideas i like to share! and as the Passerine/Storyweaver might say: “nothing is set in stone.”

Third and Last Life was the watchers’ way of seeing just how far it could push the hermits, see just how much it would take for the peaceful beings to become blood thirsty killers. The universe could give them sanctuary, but the watchers’ could rip it apart if deemed necessary. The hermits, immeadtly catching on, just made it one more of their fun little death games, but this time they got to grief. -🌾

this would not be the first time the watchers tried to interfere with the hermits; demise was taken lightly (for most people) even when the server was riddled with death traps; the head games, when cleo's bloodlust took the best of her instead of a blood fest occurring hermits delighted in the casual murder.

the watchers watched and learned, they stole the hermits from their home and confined them in an unknown game, amping up the stakes to life and death, making them dance to their puppeteering strings, and worst of all stealing their memories of the game.

impulse avoids the shine of gold now, such a simple thing for the price of a life. there is no time in the factory just the never-ending march to create the perfect chocolate. 

scar and grian meet as grian is restocking the g-train, unspoken words are shared between them even when they flinch around each other wary of a betrayal not to come. 

cleo travels up to the big eye bay often, she claims it's for supplies, there is no one around to notice if she lingers at a certain person’s base for a moment too long

ren wakes up with ice lacing his lungs, blood staining his mouth his teeth, words of an undying king stuck clawing his throat. he spends his days missing something, someone he can’t put a name to.
