Rémy Cabella on his arrival at LOSC: "The choice was quickly made"
Rémy Cabella on his arrival at LOSC: “The choice was quickly made”
At 32, Remy Cabella is starting a new cycle in the North. Free since the end of his three-month contract in Montpellier, he chose to relaunch with the Mastiffs where he will enter the rotation in the middle, either in an axial position behind the attacker, or a little lower as a torchbearer. According to Olivier Létang, who began the presentation of the player with a few words, the 32-year-old…

Stolen Moment in the Tunnel
Tumblr media
Request: Hi ! I love your one shots !! :) Can I request one with Neymar? The reader is Neymar's girlfriend and she comes to one of his games and some of the players from the other team start flirting with her,  and he gets jealous and protective :) (AshleyDorina)
There are some days where you love your job and then there are those days that you really wished that you could just stay home and in bed the whole day. Today was one of the latter days. Unfortunately for you, since it was game day at the Parc des Princes, you were forced to be at work, no matter how shitty you felt. The only bright side to this was that you were able to see your boyfriend, Neymar.
All the players were lining up in the tunnel and so needless to say, there was a lot of commotion going on. Given the fact that you had a headache, it wasn’t the most ideal situation or environment to be in but bared with it. After all, you were technically on the clock, so you couldn’t very well complain. You stood there and watched as the players lined up one by one waiting to exit the tunnel and go onto the field.
It wasn’t long before you saw your boyfriend. Your eyes met his and when they did, they softened. Your headache seemed to lessen slightly, and everything just felt right. You knew that you wouldn’t have time to wish him luck in person, so you had done it before he had left the house this morning. Even so, you flashed Ney a smile and gave him a thumbs up to wish him good luck once again.
Paris Saint-Germain were playing against Marseille today and so you knew that this was going to be a fierce competition. In fact, all around the stadium there was a different kind of tension. Le Classique days were always a bit tense and so you knew that your boyfriend was slightly nervous about the game.
Seeing you smiling at him to wish him good luck, Neymar smiled back and nodded. He had received your unspoken message and was grateful for it.
You were just about to go back to focusing on your job when a figure blocked you from doing so. Coincidentally, it also blocked Neymar’s view of you. Looking up, you realized that it was a person standing in front of you. Being familiar with the players of Marseille, you knew exactly who it was. It was Remy Cabella.
You found it odd that he was standing in front of you, especially with a smile on his face. They two of you had never met before so you didn’t know why he had approached you. Not wanting to be rude however, if you were than you risked getting fired, you smiled back at him.
“Can I help you with something?” It was the politest thing that you could think of saying.
Hearing you speak Remy’s smile just seemed to get bigger. “Actually, you can. I was wondering if you are busy tomorrow night? I noticed you a little while ago, and you’re very beautiful, so, I wanted to come over here and ask you to have dinner with me. I promise you, you won’t regret it.”
The more he spoke, it was getting harder and harder for you to keep that fake smile on your face. You didn’t know why he was in front of you but hearing that his intention was to ask you out, you could feel your patience slipping. Your headache was making everything so much worse. You weren’t in the best of moods already and so, Remy asking you out was really trying you.
With a sigh, you finally answered him, being careful to make sure you weren’t offending him. You couldn’t afford to lose your job. “I’m really sorry, I have a boyfriend, so I can’t. Thanks for the offer, though.”
You really hoped that he would walk away at that point. However, that didn’t seem to be the case. He was making you uncomfortable and now, more than ever, you wished that you were back at home with Neymar.
“Oh, sorry about that. I didn’t know you had a boyfriend. You just didn’t look like you had one.”
His words confused you slightly. How does one ‘look’ like they are in a relationship? Is there some kind of a visible tell to inform the rest of the world that you’re in a relationship? With marriage, obviously, it’s the ring, but what about if you’re not married? His words didn’t make sense to you. Not answering, you simply fake smiled and nodded at him.
You really wished that he would leave you alone, but that didn’t seem to be happening. Even you standing there silently, not talking to him, didn’t seem to deter him. The noise level within the tunnel as well as the awkward situation made you desperate to leave, but you couldn’t.
Remy looked like he was about to speak again, but thankfully, this time someone cut him off. “Are you alright, babe?”
When you heard your boyfriend’s voice coming from your left, you couldn’t help but relax. A genuine smile came up on your face as you turned to face him.
“I’m fine. I’m good.”
Neymar looked like he didn’t believe you. His gaze went back and forth between Remy and you. You could tell exactly what was going on in his head. It wasn’t the first time he had gotten jealous over some guy talking to you and it certainly wouldn’t be the last. He looked like he was about to say something to Remy, but you stopped him. You didn’t want matters to escalate any further. Your head hurt, and you had already told Remy that you had a boyfriend.
Grabbing Neymar’s arm, you stopped him from saying anything. Quickly excusing yourself from Remy, who had just stood there staring back and forth between you and Neymar finally understanding your relationship, you pulled him away. Pulling him away to a corner where you hoped you could get some privacy, you spoke to him.
“Don’t start anything with him Ney.”
Neymar scoffed at your words but didn’t say anything. He knew what you were referring to, his habit of getting jealous if a guy so much as looked at you, but he pretended to be ignorant. You couldn’t help but smile. Your boyfriend could be really cute when he got jealous. You would never tell Ney that straight to his face, though. It would hurt his ego. You chose instead, to try to look like you were scolding him.
“I already told him I was in a relationship.” Unable to keep up the scolding façade, you wrapped your arms around him and pecked him on the lips. “Besides, you know I love you more than anyone else in the world. You have nothing to worry about. I would never run off to be with someone else. Especially, a player from Marseille.”
Your words seemed to appease your boyfriend because you could feel him relax. He no longer looked like he wanted to argue with Remy for trying to ask you out. You were curious as to why he had come up to the both of you, anyway. It wasn’t like he knew that Remy tried to ask you out. He had been too far away in the tunnel to be able to hear your conversation with the Marseille player.
“How did you even know to show up when you did?”
Neymar looked around the tunnel for a while before he answered your question with a sigh. “I heard one of the other team’s player talking about how Remy was going to ask you out. That, and the fact that I couldn’t see you because he was blocking my view made me come over there. I didn’t like knowing that someone was asking you out when you already have a boyfriend, so I figured I’d set them straight.”
You couldn’t help but laugh at that. “Well, thank you for that. Even if I still think you have no reason to be jealous.”
Leaning up because Neymar was taller than you, you once more pecked him on the lips. You were about to pull away, when he wrapped his arms around your waist and deepened the kiss. Wrapping your arms around his neck, you completely forgot that the rest of the world even existed. You forgot all about the fact that you had a headache. You forgot all about the fact that there were still many people in the tunnel who could see you guys. You just focused on the feeling of your boyfriend’s lips on yours.
When you finally remembered that you were supposed to be working, you pulled away from Neymar with a blush on your cheek. Looking around, you noticed that the two of you hadn’t attracted too much attention. You felt slightly relieved. When Neymar was about to lean down and claim your lips again, you stopped him by placing your index finger on his lips.
“You have a game that your supposed to be lining up for. Also, I must get back to work. If my boss sees me messing around with you, I’m going to get fired.”
Neymar pouted slightly, even if he would never admit to having done so when you finally pushed him in the direction of his teammates. You smiled as you watched him go. You would never admit it, but you were glad for your boyfriend’s jealousy. After all, it had led to a small stolen moment in the tunnel that you had thoroughly enjoyed.

Bagaimana Kondisi Hakin Ziyech?
Kemarin mereka menjalani scan. Saya pikir itu positif bagi Ziyech. Sementara kami belum tahu bagaimana dengan Odoi, dia mendapatkan cedera dalam sesi latihan dua hari lalu. Kami akan lihat dulu,” tandasnya.

Chelsea leave Thiago Silva at home for Champions League trip to Krasnodar as Lampard rests defender | Daily Mail Online
Tumblr media
Chelsea have decided not to take Thiago Silva to Krasnodar for their Champions League group game on Wednesday.
Frank Lampard has eased the centre back into first-team action since his summer arrival and the Blues boss has opted to rest the defender with the Russian side missing eight senior players.
Silva, 36, played 90 minutes against Sevilla and Manchester United, helping his side to their first two clean sheets of the season in two 0-0 draws.

Krasnodar earned a 1-1 draw in their first ever Champions League game against Rennes last week but their squad has taken a hit from positive coronavirus tests as well as injuries.
Former Newcastle player Remy Cabella and Evgeniy Markov both tested positive for coronavirus before the trip to Rennes, while fellow attackers Wanderson and Viktor Claesson are struggling with muscle injuries.
Ruslan Kambolov and Aleksandr Cherkinov are also recovering from knocks and may be forced to watch from the sidelines while Sergey Petrov and Dmitri Stotskiy are also out.
Former Newcastle player Remy Cabella (left) is unavailable after testing positive for Covid-19
Manager Murad Musayev said he does not expect there to be many changes to the team that was beaten 3-1 by Spartak Moscow at the weekend.
Chelsea will also be without goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalga, who has not recovered from a shoulder injury that kept him out of the trip to Old Trafford.
Marcos Alonso is also unavailable as he serves the second game of his three-match suspension after his red card against Bayern Munich last season.

Emiliano Sala: Missing Cardiff striker's former club Nantes pay tribute
A giant tifo of Emiliano Sala was unveiled before kick off
Nantes players wore shirts bearing Emiliano Sala’s name during their first match since their former striker went missing.
Emotional tributes were paid to Argentine Sala, 28, before Wednesday’s 1-1 draw with Saint Etienne in Ligue 1.
Sala and pilot David Ibbotson were on board a light aircraft that disappeared over the Channel Islands on 21 January.
A video featuring Sala’s highlights as a Nantes player was played before the game at the Stade de la Beaujoire.
Fans were visibly upset, while Argentina flags and ‘Sala’ scarves were waved in the stands.
Players from both sides wore shirts bearing a photo of Sala and the message ‘On t’aime Emi’ – which translates as ‘we love you Emi’ – during the warm-up, while players also wore green armbands symbolising hope during the match.
Play was stopped in the ninth minute as players and fans honoured a minute’s applause, which reduced Nantes manager Vahid Halilhodzic to tears.
In first-half stoppage time, Nantes’ Fabio and Saint Etienne’s Yann M’Vila were sent off for arguing with each other.
The visitors’ Remy Cabella opened the scoring after the break, tapping the ball in from millimetres out after Nantes had attempted to clear.
But Majeed Waris salvaged a point for Nantes with 20 minutes to play, celebrating by tapping a photograph of Sala on a top under his shirt.
Sala had completed a transfer from Nantes to Cardiff City on 19 January, two days before his flight went missing from radar when he was travelling to join his new team-mates.
On Tuesday, tributes were paid at Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium, where Cardiff were playing in the game in which Sala should have made his Bluebirds debut.

UEFA Europa League Match Previews – 24th October Thursday
Trabzonspor v FC Krasnodar
This is a key game for the well supported Turkish side Trabzonspor. They conceded a late goal to Basel to end up drawing in Matchday 2 and that leaves them with just a single point from a possible six after defeat to Getafe on opening day. You feel the ‘Black Sea Storm’ have to capitalise on their home games, it’s an intimidating place at the Senol Gunes Stadium and their record at base is largely impressive.
Trabzonspor have won 15 of their last 21 competitive games when playing hosts, such home form should not go unnoticed and I think they’re overpriced as they welcome an injury ravaged Krasnodar side. The ‘Byki’ have won just one of their last 5 on the road and have been outgunned in their opening two UEL games, including a 5-0 hammering in Switzerland against Basel. They’re a very inconsistent outfit and have kept just 3 clean sheets in 19 in all competitions this season, it’s hard to back them to win at the moment.
What’s more Murad Musayev will be without Viktor Claeson, Remy Cabella, Yuri Gazinskiy and Andrey Sinitsyn. There’s also doubts over the fitness of Dmitri Skopintsev, Wanderson and Ivan Ignataev, it’s not the best of preparations. The current available crop have been performing poorly and I expect the hosts to take the game to them.
Daniel Sturridge is finding form and fitness after his switch to Turkey, he has undeniable quality and experience in this competition. Even if he doesn’t play, Crystal Palace misfit Aleksander Sorloth has settled in well and is supported by the likes of Jose Sosa and Anthony Nwakaeme. This side have scored two or more goals in each of their last four games including a pair of 4-1 victories over Gazientepspor and Besiktas, a measure of their attacking potential.
We can back the Turkish team off a +0 start on the asian handicap at 1.830and I’d be very surprised if we lost here. Backing this line means if the hosts win then so do we, however, if the game ends all square then we get our stake back. We’d only lose if Krasnodar claim an unlikely victory.
Asian Handicap Betting Recommendation: Trabzonspor +0.00 at 1.830
PSV Eindhoven LASK
PSV are a great team to watch at this moment in time. The Eindhoven based club have lost just once since the start of their domestic campaign and that was a 3-0 defeat at Utrecht this weekend, also they were down to 9 men in that game. But in the 16 games in all competitions since opening day vs FC Twente, PSV have a W12, D3, L1 record and they’ve been scoring plenty of goals in the process.
The ‘Boeren’ have scored 3 or more goals in 10 of those 16 games and even without key striker Luuk De Jong who departed to Sevilla in the summer, they’ve still managed to find the back of the net with impressive reliability. A lot of that burden has fallen on 20 year old Donyell Malen who is making a big name for himself with his goalscoring exploits. He’s bagged double figures in the Eredivisie already and three goals in the two UEL ties so far. His supporting cast isn’t bad either with Stephen Bergwijn and Bruma chipping in with a few goals and plenty of assists too.
Their attacking approach does leave them susceptible at the back though. The Dutch side have conceded in 6 of their last 7 and opponents LASK Linz have the forward propensity to add to that tally. The Austrian outfit comfortably finished as runners-up to Red Bull Salzburg in the Bundesliga last season and they’ve shown what a threat they can be on the continental scene. The success of Die Schwarz-Weisen saw manager Oliver Glasner get a move to Wolfsburg however their transition has been seamless since his departure.
They won 1-0 on opening day at home against Rosenborg and were fully deserving of the 3 points after out-shooting the Norweigans 16-6. They were very unfortunate to lose at Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon on matchday 2, they managed a whopping 22 shots to Sporting’s 12 with 7 landing on target; LASK racked up 12 corners in that game too which highlights their attacking intent no matter who the opponents.
This game screams goals to me and it would be a shock if don’t profit from backing over 2.75 goals at 1.740. This bet would see us take a half stakes profit should exactly 3 goals be score and a full stakes win if 4 are scored. LASK are coming into this on the back of a 7-2 thrashing of Hartberg and 6 in a row have seen this bet profit when looking at their games. If you’d have backed this line in PSV games you’d have made money in 10 of their last 11 games. The stats say this is a sure fire thing and looks like the best bet of the coupon.
Asian Total Goals Betting Recommendation: Over 2.75 goals at 1.740
Sevilla v Dudelange
In what is probably the biggest mismatch of Matchday 3 I’m willing to side with the minnows with a healthy handicap. The small landlocked country of Luxembourg is being represented by Dudelange who are flying the flag for the improving footballing nation. In the last 5 years or so we’ve seen the national team progress markedly and that has resonated with the domestic league too, they’re here on merit and have got three points to their name in group A after a dramatic 4-3 away at APOEL Nicosia in Cyprus.
Now I’m not saying they’re going to win this game, far from it, after all they’re visiting one of the favourites for the trophy and Europa League darlings Sevilla. However, I think the visitors are being slightly disrespected in the market and I’m more than happy to side with them on a +3.5 Asian Handicap at 1.850. It would take a win of 4 goals or more for the hosts in order for this bet to lose and that seems an artificially high threshold.
Although the Spanish giants are a much more high profile club, they rarely batter anyone. In fact, I wouldn’t be massively surprised if they conceded against this brave Dudelange side. Los Nervionenses have not won by four or more goals under the reign of Julien Lopetegui and 5 of their 7 wins this season have been by just the single goal. It’s not quite clicking for them going forward this season either. Wissam Ben Yedder and Pablo Sarabia both departed in the summer and that was a lot of their goals omitted, Monchi scoured the continent and brought in Manus Dabbur, Luuk De Jong and Javier Hernandez in from Austria, Holland and England respectively. The trio have combined to score a paltry 1 goal since the seasons inception and although Joan Jordan has slotted in superbly in midfield, the new front players have failed to ignite thus far.
Seldom will you see such a high line in a major European competition and Dudelange haven’t got here by fluke. They deserve respect and they’re not getting it. Let’s hope we can profit from it.
