OUR ANGEL OF BRAHMA NOW LIVE ON AO3!!! new editions made, cw added to each part, a few additional notes from Calypso!  @ceaseless-watchers-special-girl @ananxiousgenz @the-private-eye @demonic-panini
(and as always summary under the cut)
Summary:
Well over twenty years ago, Brahma was shut out from the rest of the galaxy. New Kinshasa continues to rule with an iron fist behind a shimmering gold curtain. The Galactic Civil War ended but that didn't stop the Guardian Angel System from coming online. Life has carried on for everyone else. The most the average person knows about Brahma is that it's a troubled planet in need of a savior and New Kinshasa has stepped up to fulfill that role.
Well over twenty years later, no one knows what goes on on Brahma's surface. No one knows about the true Angel of Brahma or the Revolution brewing under the floating city. So of course, no one expected life on Brahma to have carried on.
Over twenty years a Revolutionary saved recordings documenting their daily life on Brahma. New Kinshasa stole everything from them. Just what will these recordings take from the journalist who gets a hold of them? Whatever happened to the Angel? To the Revolutionary? And could Brahma possibly ever be free?

Did you know? The Teddy Band in Splatoon 3 (which you get for completing After Alterna) has an internal ID of MSN109.
As far as I'm aware, this would make the Teddy Band the only item in Splatoon 3 to reuse an internal ID that was previously used for an entirely separate item, as the ID of MSN109 was briefly used by an unobtainable item in Splatoon 2!
That item looked like this:

hi! i wanted to ask if you know anyone/anywhere that archived techno’s twitter account? my own inactive account was deleted a week or so ago, per the new rules, and thinking about the day his gets removed is really nervewracking.
i dont know of anyone specifically that has done that, but there are plenty of archives on the wayback machine. here's one from 2022 which includes the last tweet made on his account from technodad
that being said, i wouldnt worry too much about his account since his dad HAS logged into it. it's likely that someone will tell him about this new policy and he'll continue to log into it. if he doesn't though, it exists on the wayback at the very least. maybe you can save your own backup from there

One of them was Drawfee, which makes me so happy bc Drawfee is amazing, and the other was Borderlands, Typhon DeLeon to be specific. It was just such a cool thing to see

How to Delete a Business on Google: Your Complete Guide by GMB Briefcase
Tumblr media
Managing your business’s online presence is essential for any successful brand. But sometimes, there are legitimate reasons to remove your Google Business Profile—whether due to a permanent closure, a relocation, or a change in business ownership. Whatever the reason, deleting a Google Business Profile requires a careful approach to ensure that any vital data is protected and no digital footprints are left behind. In this guide, GMB Briefcase walks you through the process to delete a business on Google safely and efficiently.
Why Delete a Google Business Profile? Before we get into the steps, it’s important to understand why you might want to delete your Google Business Profile. Here are some of the most common reasons:
Business Closure: If the business has permanently closed, removing its online profile helps prevent customers from trying to visit a nonexistent location. Location Change: Relocating your business to a new location may call for a fresh Google Business Profile, especially if the original profile doesn’t match the new area. Ownership Transfer: If the business has been sold or transferred, deleting the profile ensures that control goes to the new owner if they decide to set up their own Google listing. Deleting a Google Business Profile is straightforward, but it’s essential to follow each step carefully to avoid losing any critical business data. Let’s dive into the details.
Step 1: Backup Important Business Data When you delete a Google Business Profile, all associated data, including customer reviews, photos, and posts, will be lost. To safeguard this information, it’s best to back it up before proceeding.
Use Google Takeout: Google Takeout allows you to download all your business data in a few clicks. Visit Google Takeout. Select the “Google My Business” option to download. Choose your preferred format and complete the download process. GMB Briefcase Tip: Saving your data helps maintain a record of customer feedback, photos, and insights that could be useful for future business decisions or marketing.
Step 2: Log into Google Business Profile Manager To delete your business profile, you’ll need to log in to the Google account associated with your business listing.
Visit the Google Business Profile Manager. Sign in with the email connected to your business profile. Step 3: Choose the Business Profile to Delete Once logged in, your Google Business Profile dashboard displays all business listings associated with your account. Select the specific business profile you want to delete.
Click on the profile you wish to remove. Double-check that you’ve selected the correct profile, especially if you manage multiple locations. Step 4: Access the “Remove Business” Option Within your business profile settings, there’s an option to delete the listing. Follow these steps carefully:
Navigate to the Info Tab: In the left-hand menu, click on the “Info” tab. Locate the Remove Business Option: Scroll down and look for the “Remove Business” option. Select Remove Business: This action initiates the deletion process. GMB Briefcase Advice: Google offers options beyond permanent deletion, like marking your business as temporarily closed or transferring ownership. If any of these options apply, consider using them to avoid complete deletion.
Step 5: Confirm the Deletion of Your Profile After selecting “Remove Business,” Google will ask for a final confirmation before completing the process. Make sure you’re fully ready to delete, as this action is irreversible.
Review the Deletion Prompt: Google will inform you that this action cannot be undone. Click Confirm: If you’re sure, click “Confirm” to finalize the deletion. Important: After confirmation, your Google Business Profile and all related data, including reviews and photos, will be permanently removed.
Alternatives to Deleting Your Google Business Profile If you’re unsure about permanently deleting your Google Business Profile, GMB Briefcase recommends considering these alternatives:
Mark as Permanently Closed: If your business has closed but you still want it to appear in search results as a closed business, this option is ideal. Transfer Ownership: For a change in ownership, transferring the profile to the new owner lets them manage and update the profile as they see fit. Mark as Temporarily Closed: If your business plans to reopen, marking it as temporarily closed maintains your online presence and can prevent customers from assuming it’s permanently closed.
Implications of Deleting a Google Business Profile Deleting your Google Business Profile affects various aspects of your online presence.
Here are the main implications:
Loss of Local SEO: Google Business Profiles contribute to local SEO by making your business visible to nearby customers. Deleting the profile removes this SEO boost, which can impact search rankings. Customer Reviews: Once deleted, all customer reviews will be permanently erased, which can reduce the visibility and credibility of your business if you decide to reopen. No Presence on Google Maps: Your business will no longer appear on Google Maps, which is often a primary tool for potential customers to locate your business.
Final Thoughts from GMB Briefcase Deciding to delete a Google Business Profile is significant, with lasting effects on local SEO, customer relationships, and online visibility. GMB Briefcase advises businesses to weigh the reasons for deleting and consider alternative options when possible. Whether you’re closing a business, relocating, or transferring ownership, following a structured approach will help you delete the profile safely and smoothly.
