im also autistic and relate to ty a lot. i have to wear noise cancelling headphones all the time and funfact, i wanna be a criminal psychologist! i also relate to ty personality wise and how my sister was always really protective of me and treated me with nothing but kindness. shes also kind and funny just like livvy. and even tho we are not twins our dynamic is pretty similar

and i know for a fact that i wouldve done what ty has in his situation.

also im SOOO excited to see how their dynamic changes in twp. im pretty sure ty has to learn to let go of her at some point in the series and i know for a fact that i will be ugly crying. im already crying just by thinking about it.

today I've been reminded of detective comics annual 8, which is my favorite of ed's comic appearances, so I thought I'd ask you what's your favorite riddle guy comic and why?

god DC annual #8 makes me INSANE that's like. pure distilled Riddler sauce right there. absolute platonic ideal of the Riddler. he is perfect to me. somebody surgically wire that into Tom King's brain before they ever let him write the Riddler again I swear to god.

I'm still working on my New Earth read through so I'm finding new faves all the time, but as of this exact minute some faves:

I fucking hate to hand it to Chuck Dixon but Detective Comics #705-707 (Dixon, Graham Nolan, and David Roach, 1997) is so so good. like he's literally just trying to do a stupid baseball heist and blow up Cluemaster while he's at it. THAT is a Riddler story, babey. Echo and Query are even there!!!

Impulse #48 (Bill Messner-Loebs and Craig Rousseau, 1999) is just a spectacular one off Riddler appearance, namely because you get the strong impression that if left alone with Bart for like. two hours. Eddie would probably willingly kill himself. very fun watching his schtick absolutely crumble in the face of a speedster.

Batman Adventures Vol. 2 (worked on by like half a dozen different writers, 2003). honestly the BTAS version of the Riddler was never anything spectacular to me - he's fun, not a standout - but goddd he rules so hard in the sequel comics. he's (once again) retired and made legitimate money, so now he's so desperately bored he's harassing Batman with stupid non-crimes until Batman snaps and just starts using him as a private detective so he'll have something to do. mwah.

Batman Confidential #26-28 (Nunzio DeFilippis, Christina Weir, Kevin Nowlan, and José Luis García-López, 2009), which is collected as Batman: King Tut's Tomb. another banger story, it has everything I like. namely, the Riddler being so annoying that Batman lets him work a case with him and bitchy buddy comedy shenanigans ensue. and King Tut is there!

Dinner for Two (Ram V and Phil Hester) in Strange Love Adventures (2022) #1 is so... like they just went for it. they said fuck it the Riddler bisexual and spending his Valentine's Day making Batman hang out with him to complain about how he's lonely. make of that whatever you want.

Catwoman: Lonely City (Cliff Chiang, 2022). an older, widowed Riddleguy who's kicked his riddle habit (in addition to, apparently, a pretty brutal coke problem) and is settled in to running slightly more normal grifts with his adorable daughter Edelia. look at them. I have to show you this because I just like Chiang's art so so much, look at themmm

also obligatory shoutout to the Riddler appearance of all time, whichever issue of Bruce Wayne: Murderer?/Fugitive is the one where he's crashing at Stephanie Brown's house being a fucking menace and Black Canary kicks him out on his ass in five seconds flat while he's wearing a fluffy yellow bathrobe. and also kicks Cluemaster out of his own house for good measure.

i miss them too,, i have so many drafts and half finished fics with them but i've had so little energy/time to actually finish any of them bc of finals

but i'm pretty caught up with school rn (by tuesday i'll be on summer break!!) so here's a bit of an i'm-sorry-for-being-absent drabble :)

The nail of your thumb drags against the edge of the page, finally getting the glue to fully adhere to the page.

You press your back against the wood surface of your desk chair to admire your handiwork. The background of your latest scrapbook page has come together just the way you wanted it to. You pick up the book carefully before turning your body.

"Lex," you beam.

Felix doesn't sit up fully, but he does lift his head. The arm holding up his copy of the latest Harry Potter relaxing. "Oh," he mumbles it in that way that reminds you of one of the things you like best about him. He has this talent for giving attention. Where other people would just be polite without a second thought, Felix takes the time to really look before commending.

He pushes himself up in a way that awkwardly squishes your pillow. "That's good." Felix straightens, legs crossing beneath him. "That's really good, Lovie." His thumb tucks itself between the pages of his book, a make shift bookmark. "The edges, the paper..."

"Thank you." Another thing you love about Felix is the fact that you can always tell he means his praise. You turn forward, setting your scrapbook back onto your desk. "You should make one."

The corner of his mouth pulls itself into a version of a smile that's so soft you almost miss it. "Yeah?" You nod. Felix's smile shifts into something more assured. "Maybe tomorrow night."

You try to picture Felix spending a Saturday night in either your room or his, cutting up scraps of paper and gluing them down instead of at a bar or some party. The thought makes your feel warm in that way that's so exclusively Felix. It also feels blurry, intangible in its unlikeliness.

As happy as it'd make you, tonight was already surprising enough. It's not like Felix goes out every night, and this isn't the first time the two of you have stayed in on a Friday, but nights like these are rare. You can't picture two of these in a row.

"Tomorrow?" You pull your legs out from under your desk, entire body angling itself to the side so that it's easier to look at him. "Tomorrow's Saturday."

He lets out a partial laugh. "And you're dying for a rager?"

"No," you mumble, dragging out the vowel sound in an attempt to sound more sarcastic. "But you like going out." You lean forward, resting your chin against the chair's back. "And it's not like I hate going out, especially with you..." You trail off, eyes shifting away from Felix and towards the bed post closest to you. "And I don't want to be the reason you don't do things you like."

For a beat, the only sound is the low, rhythmic tapping of Felix's pointer finger against the spine of his book. "I like a lot of things."

You lift your head. "I know."

"I like doing things with you."

The warmth comes back with a vengeance. You tap your thumb against the side of your seat for the sake of doing something. "Me too."

Felix shifts, extending one leg to make himself more comfortable. "Good." He's so quiet for a second, you almost think that might be the end of the conversation. You're about to go back to picking out the pictures to finish off the page you'd been working on when he starts again, "So you don't need to worry about me resenting you."

Your eyes narrow. "I didn't say anything about you resenting me." Your chin lifts slightly, an attempt at displaying your indignation. "Why are you saying it like that was an option?"

He grins, dropping himself back onto your pillow. "No reason."

You roll your eyes at his sarcasm. He's the one that came over to your room without being asked to. "Sure."

"What?" His tone implies nothing but perfect innocence. He picks up his book, opening it as if he's done nothing wrong. "Y'should come over here before the resentment sets in and I lose all interest."

You let out a loud sigh, but move to stand regardless. "Yeah, that feels like a real possibility."

When you don't move, Felix glances away from his book. "You're not gonna come over here?" He looks up at you, a hint of a pout playing at his expression. "I was kidding."

You cross your arms, fighting against a smile. "I just stood up." That's not enough to convince him to stop looking at you like that. You take a few steps forward with a sigh that's more out of habit than anything else. "You are so dramatic."

You sit on your bed, crossing your legs beneath you. Felix shifts onto his side. His freehand finds your knee. "You cried because of this book."

Eyes narrowing, you lean forward to get a better sense of how far into the book he's gotten. "Wait a few chapters."

Felix snaps his head in your direction, "Lovie. You said you wouldn't--" Your sentence runs into his, "I didn't--I didn't spoil it."

He frowns, watching you skeptically. "That was mean."

"You started it." You're aware that you sound like a little kid, but you can't help it. With a sigh, you give up, laying down. He's taking up most of your bed, but you're far from uncomfortable. "Fine. I'm sorry."

With little warning, Felix leans forward and presses a kiss against your temple. "Want me to read to you?"

You're used to Felix's random displays of affection, but every once in awhile something will take you by so much surprise you feel it more than you should. You blink. "Yeah," you mumble, hoping that your voice comes out even, "Sounds nice."

Felix shifts onto his back, one hand finding your arm and the other holding his book.

Also tbh there isn't a secret to it I'm just. Doing the lineart over Najma's sprite and making changes to fit Daisy, I'm also constantly looking at characters like Leona, Vil, Epel and a few others that have elements that remind me of Daisy (ex.: Leona has long hair, Vil has blonde hair and a part of it is tied at the back, Epel's face/eyes are kinda like how I imagine Daisy's)

They were meant to be in an old TF2 AU until I decided to turn into TF2 Freaks OCs. They are able to open their mouths and use their powerful tongues to break your skull.

The Blu (Male) and Red (Female) are actually in a relationship when they were human. And they are still in a relationship. The Red is actually pregnant as well.

junior’s jailbreak!!! honestly i think it would be kinda cunty if he followed the golden trio to the weeping willow ?? without their knowledge… because obv it also comes out that sirius black is harry’s godfather, just like it comes out that he’s sirius jr’s uncle….. so i could possibly imagine him trying to catch up with the golden trio, then the huge reveal, and what if when sirius asks harry if he wants to live with him he’s asking BOTH OF THEMMM…. <- a lil family…:(

OR !!! it would happen after…. probably during the summer holidays. i feel like it would be a lot if it happened during the triwizard tournament :/ sirius’ escape being the final trigger, and junior runs away. not necessarily to find sirius sr, or to go live with him or anything, but because it was the final nail in the corfin and he couldn’t stay anymore. i mean, imagine the state of bella and reg after sirius escapes… and sirius sr would obviously know about sirius jr once he gets out…. so i think he and remus go on a mission to find him. and when they do he’s this volatine angry deeply traumatized kid.. just like sirius sr was.. god !!! im getting emotional over a character i made up…

so. they find him. and take him back home. and feed him and make his a cup of tea. maybe asks if he wants to go back home, which jr very obviously does not. so they make him a bed, tucks him in, tells him to wake them if he needs anything <- as if sirius sr isn’t going to pace outside jr bedroom the entire night… and it’s slow and long and messy process, but sirius jr stays, and he befriends harry, becomes a older brother to him, and they become a family <3

i think sirius kinda knew before azkaban that regulus was a lost cause, especially when he got engaged to bellatrix and was over the moon about. he didn’t wanr to be saved, so sirius couldn’t save him. so i don’t necessarily think it comes as a surprise to see how regulus raised his child, taking after their mother but it hurts all the same. crushes those last bits of hope. AND like. regulus’ kids name is SIRIUS !!!!!!!!!!! how do you deal with that…… how do you reconcile with that, while also realising he abused his child, his child with you name, and why did he name his child after you, and why did he hate his child, and why does he hate you, and is it your fault, does he hate sirius jr because he hates you, does he miss you, did he remind him of you…….. god the GUILT !!!!!’
