can't reply to your comment to me, but yeah, i agree.
gonna be entirely honest. it's been a while since i last touched that part of idw (though i'm slowly working my way through a re read of it) so i completely forgot that the issue is call "all hail optimus" lmao. but yeah that does make it a little better in retrospect.
i actually find a lot of post phase 1 optimus to be really interesting because he slowly kind of spirals into become exactly like phase 1 megatron. at least in some ways. he treats his soldiers terribly, colonizes a planet that he was originally on decently good terms with (or as decent terms as one can be considering all that happens in phase 1), and his blackmailing of soundwave is probably one of my favourite plot points.
i really enjoy idw1 optimus because he struggles through the hero worship that zeta prime set him up for. the parts of the story where he realises that the title that he holds, the title of prime, is one rife with corruption and that he's carrying on a legacy of murders and other colonisers.
i really liked that he went back to being just orion pax after phase 1 ended and all the times that characters called him optimus and he corrected them was nice. it really did feel like he was trying to distance himself from the primacy.
of course dark cybertron took a hard left turn considering how orion chooses to go back to the title of prime after his battle with nova but i do appreciate that barber took the time to actually write optimus as someone with issues. he's a war time leader and in peace, even peace with violence, he struggles and does a really shitty job of actually trying to be the good guy that he claims to be to everyone around him.
part of me is just kind of salty that optimus dies a hero in idw1. because as much as barber does a good job of making optimus just the worst, he still gets to have that self sacrifice scene at the end and the knowledge of that kind of taints any negativity that the story views op through before. because i know on re-reads that optimus is just going to have the scene where he sacrifices himself to save the universe and everyone else is going to go back to worshiping him as a hero, which i think undermines the whole point of showing that he's a terrible leader in peace time.
of course that whole situation really only happens because of the rampant crossovers that happen in the series so who knows if that's what the writers originally intended for him to go through.
Don't make a post about how IDW Optimus is the Optimus the fandom always asks for, don't make a compilation of all the times he fits the exact personality traits/themes that people write about in fanon, don't talk about how most of the things the fandom wants from a complex Optimus are canon with IDW Optimus, don't make a list of all the ways IDW OP's story addresses the fandom's most common complaints about OP being boring or over-idolized, don't try to convince people that instead of daydreaming and making AUs and headcanons of a more problematic/deep Optimus they could read IDW and have a canon, in the flesh version of Optimus that's literally CANON with art and shit telling a story of what they thought was just headcanon/theories/alternate interpretations, don't--

A little writing for this au by @yuukirita, the brainrot...it's killing me...take this and save urself... I'll write more, probably.
B-127 hurts, he’s bleeding on the rough ground of Cybertron itself. Or is he? Why is he bleeding, anyways?
There was a fight, he thinks, maybe. B-127 remembers, the Decepticon were setting base on a stray planet, to refuel? Yes, probably, they were low on energon. At some point, Autobots appeared, Optimus was there too! Megatron and he were shouting at each other for a while.
B-127 never really liked it when they fought, Elita wasn’t even here this time.
There’s shouting again, not at him, though. They sound panicked, did someone get hurt real bad? Did he get hurt real bad?
There was someone moving him, their touch was nice, rough hands, but gentle.
Dee?
Right then, B-127 was struck with a realization that maybe, just maybe, he might be dying. It’s getting dark, and he can’t see.
No, no, he can’t die. He’s not leaving Dee alone, how would he know to get back to recharge after another bad dream? What about Orion? Elita? Steve 2.0? His body was being lifted up, and more shouting and loud noises, but it was fading away. His already blacked-out screen beeps with frantic error pop-ups, notifying how his system is shutting down one-by-one.
It’s getting very, very cold. B-127 still can’t see.
B-127 still wants to hang out with his friends for a little longer.

Me at your post:
Tumblr media
Question. Have you ever thought about writing for the Constructicons? (Not with Prowl though). I think it would be hilarious.
Rewatched their G1 episodes today. Title is the song ‘Drive’ by The Matches. An attempt was made
Tumblr media
Drive
Constructicons x Reader
• “I’m just saying. A little appreciation.” Exchanging a look with Long Haul, Scavenger tries to ignore Hook’s grumbling as they work. Pushing against a tree until the wood splinters and breaks so he can shove it over and drag it out of the way. Pausing to tip his head up at the night sky and wonder where home is. “We’re out here busting our afts and do we get any thanks?” Hook demands. No. What they’d gotten was their energon rations cut because in the Decepticon hierarchy, they’re not much higher than Insecticons. He doesn’t like it, but understands. Being forged here on this miserable mudball not Cybertron means being looked down upon. And he has no idea where Cybertron is among those glittering stars. Can it be home when he’s never set ped there?
• “We do our job. A fragging good job,” Scrapper says, trying to keep the peace as Bonecrusher utters a harsh laugh and Mixmaster just shakes his head at him. Like he doesn’t see the scorn. Knows the others think he’s oblivious, but he’s knows they’re looked down on until they’re needed. Devastator demands their respect, but on their own? They’re second class citizens. If even that. Some of the other Decepticons are all too happy to sneer at them, to assume that since they didn’t come from Cybertron they’re less.
• Bending to gouge up a handful of soil and to intake through his vents, separating out the individual components in his head, Mixmaster growls. Scenting those trace amounts of energon that are the whole reason they’re out here in the middle of nowhere. “No one wants to hear that, though,” Mixmaster mutters. “They want us to work and keep quiet. It’s here.” Glancing at his brother when Bonecrusher bumps him. “They’re scared of us,” Bonecrusher growls, beginning to aggressively clear the land of trees, movements sloppy and giving away that he’s been into the high grade. But they all know it’s Devastator that’s feared, not them. They’re tools. Nothing more. Disrespected and mocked by the rest of the Decepticons. Something they all feel and that gets compounded when they’re combined. That dissatisfaction growing every time they combine, spreading and feeding on itself when they separate again. Reaching a boiling point with no outlet to let off some steam. Except to destroy something. And there’s nothing here but trees.
• Exhausted and not even tempted by the hot, greasy smell of fast food in the bag in the passenger seat, you go over the list in your head again. Trying to remember if you’ve gotten at least a little something for everyone. That you’re ready for the upcoming holiday. You’d volunteered to work the day before for the extra cash, but you keep wondering if you’re forgetting something. Distracted you almost miss the huge, dark shape that comes sailing out of the woods. Slamming a foot on the brake as your car slides with a scream of tires, a tree slams into the road ahead of you and goes end over end in a shower of pine needles and broken branches. What? Toggling your emergency lights on, you put the car into park and get out, wincing at the biting cold. And your breath catches as it sinks in that a tree chucked like a javelin even though there’s no wind, no plausible explanation, nearly took you out. Squinting into the dark woods, your skin prickles as a red glow flares in the shadows. Then five more.
• Hears Bonecrusher laugh and Long Haul turns to follow his stare. Sees the tiny shape through the trees silhouetted by the headlights of the car behind them. There’s no way the little human can see anything more than the glow of their optics. But there’s a whisper of excitement twisting through him as Scrapper says, “Bottle of engex to whoever squishes it before it ruins everything.”
• Heart in your throat as those red glows shift and a branch cracks, there’s a roar from the trees that crackles through you and you forget the car. Forget everything beyond the animal need to get away. Running as trees crack and get uprooted with thunderous noise behind you to send you racing across the road and into the woods on the other side in a blind panic. Don’t even know what’s chasing you, only that you don’t want to find out. Is this what a rabbit feels like with hungry foxes snapping at its heels?
• Heavy peds tearing up dirt and leaves as he tries to overtake Hook, Scavenger hears Mixmaster calling out to the organic. Laughingly saying they only want to play. You’re surprisingly fast for being so small, but even noisier than Bonecrusher somehow. Energon pumping through his lines as you break from the trees, just a little shadow silvered by the moon, almost unreal looking as you pelt through the tall grass. Catches a glimpse of terrified eyes when you glance back and then you go down, disappearing completely.
• “Where’d it go?” Hook growls, reaching to push Scavenger out of his way as the rest of his brothers catch up and he realizes there’s a sheet drop, the ground giving way so suddenly you hadn’t seen it in time to react. Leaning down to look at the still form lying in the shallow stream at the bottom, there’s a momentary flicker of disappointment. Because chasing you had made him feel more alive than he’d felt in a long time. The hunt a high almost as sweet as combining.
• Lingering at the edge of the ravine, spark pulsing still with the excitement of your fear, Scrapper’s aware of Mixmaster and Bonecrusher shoving at each other. Of Long Haul and Scavenger both still staring down at their quarry. Turning away to order them back to work, he hesitates as Scavenger bumps his arm with a fist. “It’s still alive.” And he hears the low, pained sound from the little human. “Pretty fun to chase,” Long Haul adds, shooting him a look. Primus, are they wanting to keep you? Like a pet? All five of his brothers are staring at him now. Waiting for his decision. And groaning in defeat, he gestures at the drop. “Fine, but I’m not cleaning up after it.” Because you’re a distraction, something to keep them from dwelling on how unhappy they all are.

I’ve said before Transformers has struggled recently with its villains and recent material doesn’t change this.
Ever since this happened…
Tumblr media
We’ve largely been stuck with poor man’s Vegeta Megatron.
Tumblr media
And as such the series has lost its main villain, and become directionless.
The modern version of this trend started with Rescue Bots & RiD15, but it made sense in their respective series, and the replacement villains were treated like actual villains and are fondly remembered because of that.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It’s also not the first time Megatron was succeeded in leadership, as the Marvel Comics did this shockingly frequently.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
With RatBat being the most unique case, in that he was the only one who largely succeeded in his efforts, and was a result of sincerely wanting to try something different.
I think that sincerity is long gone in favor of brand stagnation and “DEI” despite the later going out the door as of typing.
The usual replacement tends to be Galvatron, often depicted as an evolved Megatron through mystical means.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But Hasbro seems very reluctant to use Galvatron lately for whatever reason, instead usually having him as a (technically) separate character if he does show up.
Cyberverse kinda shows the current problem two fold. The bad writers convinced themselves they wrote a sympathetic Megatron when the writing shows him to still be certifiably insane and going through what is essentially an on the nose bad break up with Optimus. This extended to Megatron somehow being worthy of using the Matrix, and able to use it, despite Decepticons never typically being able to, and imply Optimus isn’t worthy of the Matrix, but never follow up on it.
Tumblr media
To convince themselves and the audience that the regular CV Megatron was still a good person despite his atrocities, the writers pulled an Archie Sonic, and brought on their own Robo-Robotnik in Megatron X.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He too is apparently worthy of the Matrix and able to use it, despite completely destroying Cybertron and most, if not all, of its non Perfectcon inhabitants.
(To be fair, the idea of a Decepticon being able to use the Matrix goes back to Marvel G1 Thunderwing, but his actions helped corrupt the Matrix, creating the Dark Matrix Creature, but Cyberverse never states this is the case at all. This isn’t really a popular concept the series goes back to either, making Cyberverse the outlier.)
Tumblr media
This ties back to Hasbro’s reluctance on Galvatron, as X was originally supposed to BE Galvatron in a Marvel G1 homage, but Hasbro said no.
So we’ve been left with a weird, but non committed, experimental phase of trying out different Villians to less than stellar results…
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Mandroid and Scourge are pretty good villains, but Mandroid quickly succumbed to bad writing, & Scourge was fairly quickly killed off, with no clear intent to go back to the Terrorcons and have a Movie Cyclonus based on the Armada version to take Scourge’s place.)
This feeds back into fan complaints about Hasbro’s unwillingness to try new things I’ve seen recently. In context the complaint was more wanting another Beast Wars like thing with new factions and new non G1 characters.
Like we HAVE been getting that with the Terrans and Terrorcons, but it’s clear kids aren’t that interested in them, and adult fans are as fickle as ever and not supporting it super well either. TFONE is pry the most damning, where it’s doing poorly across the planet theatrically, despite trying a new non-evergreen art style, and a much better version of Aligned/IDW caste system that simplifies it to Cogs & Cogless.
It’s not for lack of trying, but it’s also not grabbing kids well either.
This weird flip flopping recently came into play with Galactic Trials, the crappy looking racing game.
The game casts Nemesis Prime as the main villain, who tried to steal the relics of the Primes, but fail and cast the Chaos Emeralds, er, relics across the galaxy.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Here’s the weird part: this happens before the Great War began, with the Autobots and Decepticons now finding out in the present and scrambling to collect the relics for themselves. The story isn’t expanded and confuses things. Nemesis typically isn’t even a Prime, but a Decepticon clone of Optimus. Barring a few exceptions, the main deviation this MIGHT be referencing is IDW Nova Prime, who briefly became Nemesis Prime, powered by a Matrix like relic from the Dead Universe.
Tumblr media
So does that mean in this universe the Matrix chose a guy literally named Nemesis to be Prime? Is this actually supposed to be Nova Prime via IDW? Is this Orion Pax’s black sheep of the product line? So many questions this game isn’t going to answer.
This is the frustrating part about all this. I like that they’re trying to branch out still, and I liked Nemesis Prime in IDW and back when he was Scourge in RiD01, but…
He’s kinda pointless here.
Why are we using a “new” character for a failing on launch, not-mobile game, when the plot would be much simpler in that Megatron or Starscream raided the vault of the Primes only for Optimus to intervene and launch the relics into space. Why is Nemesis the villain? For that matter, since it’s a racing game, shouldn’t the Stunticons be the villains?
Tumblr media
This is where CyberWorld might be the make or break now.
I think slowly but surely, Hasbro is recognizing their past ideas on overusing antihero Megatron isn’t working, and that they need to properly commit to a successor if they don’t want Megatron to be a villain anymore.
Going by toy leaks, it appears they’ve decided to go BACK to Galvatron proper, but they also include Scorponok, who’s typically cast as a leader in some capacity (excluding Beast Wars).
Tumblr media Tumblr media
(Until we learn more, I’m leaning towards their roles being similar to Superlink’s.)
So I think that’s a step in the right direction so far; going for Skybound’s aim of familiar but, they’re willing to pivot under better writing.
I think that’s where TFONE D-16 doesn’t work as a concept.
Tumblr media
Like it if not, casual audiences and kids aren’t that invested in the idea of a wide eyed good boi Megatron who fell from grace or wants to redeem.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
They want these kinds of power hungry megalomaniacal Megatrons, who are willing to go the extra mile just to upstage Optimus to stroke their own ego. Not high school bosom buddies with gay lover subtext that Stereotypical Tumblr-Twitter wants. And hopefully with what we’ve seen with Skybound, we’re going back to that Megatron soon. And if we don’t go back to Megatron strictly, then Galvatron might be the way to go cartoon wise.

Note
Post Dark-Cybertron, it’s declared Cross Faction Arranged Marriages will take place to ensure peace. As the leaders of their respective factions, it’s all but expected that MegOp will be conjunxed but Megatron can tell something is on Optimus’ mind. Optimus, knowing that lying won’t be productive, confesses that he had dream. A dream in which the war would be over and he would be allowed to finally be with the great love of his life.
“It’s not me, is it?” Megatron says after a long pause.
“It was an impossible dream,” Optimus answers. “Now, the only thing I can do is remember him.”
This is painfully sad

For the ask meme- all the questions for Bayverse Sentinel please
AAAAAAA–
Tumblr media
Sorry for the late response, this took a while:
1. Canon I outright reject
I don’t think I have any. I really like how his character is.
2. A canon or headcanon hill I will die on
He wanted to bring Cybertron not because it was his home or because he loved it like Optimus or Megatron. He wanted to bring Cybertron back because he was adored and worshiped like a god there. On Earth, while he was still a leader and well-respected by the Autobots, he wasn’t looked by humans like a god or even a king.
He was just another machine.
And he didn’t like that.
3. Obscure headcanon
He’s Megatron and Optimus’ biological dad.
4. Favorite line
“We were gods once, all of us! But here there will only be one!”
5. Best personality trait
His intelligence and how he can appear so kind when he wants (if I didn’t know better, I would trust him with my life and to gently hold me)
6. Worst personality trait
His massive ego.
7. Age/height/weight headcanon
Age: He’s older than Megatron and Optimus but not the same age as, for example, The Fallen (that mf is A N C I E N T)
Height: Taking Megatron’s canon height in consideration, I hc Sentinel is 33 feet or around 10 meters (slightly shorter than Megatron [I hc Megatron unconsciously lowers his body to appear smaller or the same height around Sentinel until he snaps] and taller than Optimus)
Weight: No idea, I suck at guessing/making weights.
8. Unpopular opinion about them
He was never in the right, he was not a hero. Just because humanity later turned against the transformers, that doesn’t mean Sentinel was in the right in trying to enslave and wipe out humanity.
Also, he isn’t a false Prime and the Matrix wouldn’t have rejected him. People say he refused it because he knew the Matrix would turn into dust because he was planning to betray the Autobots, but let’s remember the facts that:
A) It floated on his hand, so he is a true Prime.
B) The Fallen was able to not just have it float on his hand but actually TOUCH the Matrix in the second film even after all the things he did.
9. Scene that first made me love (or hate) the character
Love: His talk with Optimus on the mountains/nature.
Hate: When he betrayed the Autobots, killed Ironhide, Mudflap and Skids, threatened Mearing to take her with him and force her to watch as he murdered every single human –no matter if it was a man, woman, elder or child– if he wasn’t given the pillars and almost stomped to death Sam and Lennox (mix of movie, comic and book)
10. Best moment on screen (or in the book)
His final fight with Optimus (and Megatron in the book)
11. Faceclaim for the role
Leonard Nimoy, his VA for Dark of the Moon.
Tumblr media
I mean… look at him! They obviously used him as base for Sentinel’s design (I love when that happens)
12. Crack headcanon
His beard is really soft (as soft as metal can be. Soft for cybertronian standards)
13. Dumbest thing they've ever done
Attacking Megatron when he declared they would rebuild Cybertron together. Like, Sentinel, you stupid bitch, HE IS YOUR ALLY. AND HE NEVER SAID YOU WOULD WORK FOR HIM, HE SAID T-O-G-E-T-H-E-R.
If he hadn’t done that (twice in the book), Megatron probably would have never turned against him.
Dumbass.
14. Most heroic moment
Uhh…
15. Worst thing they've ever done
Trying to enslave humanity and commit massive genocide on the rest of Earth.
16. Deepest darkest secret they won’t even admit to themselves
Deep down, a small part of him regrets betraying Optimus and during the Chicago battle, Sentinel wished to have had Optimus on his side instead of Megatron.
17. Quotes, songs, poems, etc. that I associate with them
Hohoho, I actually have a few:
• Good to be King
• Babylon
• Thunder Bringer
• Crucified
18. What they'd go to see a therapist about
God complex (Optimus would have to drag him to see the therapist)
19. Vices/bad habits
There aren’t any canon ones, but I headcanon he overtrains to the point of injury. Following that, I also hc he did this with Megatron in his teenage/young adult years to prepare him to be High Protector of Cybertron once they found the Allspark.
20. Scars
None as far as I know/headcanon.
21. Drink of choice (not just alcoholic)
High grade or normal energon but if he could, he would drink gallons of coffee in a single sitting. I just know it.
22. Best physical feature
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
…MaY I sPEAK (joking)
I really like his ear-things, the shape of his chest and the things he has on his back.
23. If they were a scented candle, what would they smell like?
He probably smells like smoke, hot metal and burned oil, but Sentinel gives me the vibe of almonds, olive or grapes for some reason.
24. Most annoying habit
Not sure. Maybe constantly feeling his position threatened and reminding others of it (like he did with Megatron and Mearing)?
25. 3 things they'd want to take with them if they were dropped off in the middle of nowhere
The pillars, the Primax Blade and his rust cannon.
26. What they would do if stuck in an elevator with [insert character of your choice from the same fandom]
If it’s Optimus, have a chat with him.
If it’s Megatron, try to be as far as possible from him in the elevator.
If it’s a human, step on them “““accidentally”””
27. Their guilty pleasure
I’m gonna take a guess and say walking through Earth’s landscapes.
28. How they feel about [insert character of your choice from the same fandom]
Optimus: “My favorite, brave, almost perfect, a great cybertronian, my heir… but too soft and not willing in taking difficult decisions”
Megatron: “Good war machine, a firm believer of my words yet I don’t like the rest of him and feel ashamed how he ended up”
Or at least that's how I see it.
29. Eating habits (hc)
Fairly normal, but I headcanon he has a sweet tooth and enjoys cybertronians treats.
30. Sleeping habits (hc)
Terrible. He’s the type of person that will sleep a 10 minute nap and call it enough, though he will recharge at one point for a long period of time when his body can no longer keep up. Then, the cycle repeats.
31. If they had a tumblr what would it look like?
Idk :(
32. Something guaranteed to make them smile/laugh
Spending time with his favorite son, Optimus, a compliment from anyone, any show of respect/devotion to him.
33. Something guaranteed to make them cry
34. How they react when they are feeling X emotion (sad, angry, excited, scared, etc.— can specify as many as you like)
Oh, yes, headcanon time!
• Happy: Smiling, ears up, chest puffed.
• Angry: Frowning, ears pinned (the more low they are, the more angry he is), teeth clenched, narrowing eyes, standing straight to full height, the cylinders in his chest roll slowly.
• Excited: Ears twitch, eyebrows lifted, cylinders roll quickly.
• Sad: Ears dropped, eyebrows downwards, eyes shine is dimmer, shoulders go down.
• Scared: Ears can be slightly pinned (danger is visible) or fully erect (sensing danger), pupils shrink, body is tense, cylinders roll quickly.
• Flirty/playful: Ears twitch or point in different directions (one can be lower than the other one), one eyebrow lifted, confident smile.
35. Their idea of a perfect day
On Cybertron, a sunny day without problems, walk around, get a few compliments/bows, chat with Optimus, drink some high grade energon and enjoy the sunset.
36. Their favorite season
I think it would be summer. After living for who knows how long in darkness on Cybertron, I think Sentinel would enjoy summer and the longer days it brings along the warmth.
37. What they really think about themselves
They are above everyone and everything else since creation.
38. Favorite holiday
He doesn’t have one.
39. Favorite game
AmOnG uS (I’m kidding, he’s a boomer)
Cybertronian equivalent of chess, maybe?
40. Favorite book
I don’t know.
41. If they could have lunch with anyone in the world (living or dead, from any fictional universe or the real world), who would it be?
Primus.
42. 3 comfort items
Uh…
43. 3 favorite foods and 3 they despise
UHH…
44. Their happiest memory
Restoring Cybertron by finding the Allspark and becoming ruler of the planet.
45. Their favorite celebrity
Primus (does God count as a celebrity–)
46. The person they most admire
Primus.
47. Their dream job
Being a Prime (he already is)
48. Scariest moment of their life
When Starscream shot down the Ark when he was escaping with the pillars to meet with Megatron.
49. Favorite toy as a child
I don’t know…
50. A memory they've blocked out
He remembers raising Optimus and telling him stories about greatness and the legends of the Primes and the Allspark… but he has long forgotten also raising Megatron with the same tales (half headcanon, half canon)

You just get abducted by aliens. You're just given to Optimus Prime
Pairing: yandere Optimus Prime x reader
It all starts with a trivial abduction from Earth. You don't remember it. Just the bright flash, the pain, the… Fear.
You find yourself in a strange dark room, and all around you are many people just as scared and confused as you are. You cry
The metal aliens don't speak to you. They barely pay attention to you. All attempts at communication fail
Understanding comes in snatches. You are put to sleep, and you wake up… In a store. Huge, strange, inhuman, but a store.
And so the long days go by. You see all kinds of robots, but they rarely look at you. Until one comes along and buys you. As it turns out, as a gift.
The place they bring you to is like a palace. A bloody huge and majestic palace. The robot says something in its clicking language, but you don't understand it. But you do realize that something's changing in your routine.
You are a gift. Given to a monstrously huge robot that looks like a king or something like that
You're horrified, but your new master seems to be a little better than your past owners. At least he doesn't restrict your freedom within the confines of his huge compartment.
You study your new home and your new master. His demeanor, his intonations in an unfamiliar language…. You'd like to try to escape, but how? Your cage - even though it looks like a human home - is too high up.
… and if you think it can't get any worse, you're wrong. Your master seems to realize you're reasonable. Because one day he places a sort of alien tablet in front of you, with text on the display. In English
You read it. The text tells you that the giant robot's name is Optimus Prime, and that he is something like the Emperor of the planet Cybertron. And that he's very sorry for what happened to the humans. That it's a misunderstanding, and he'll do anything to make Cybertronians realize that their organic pets aren't animals at all, but another intelligent species
You don't understand. You yell at Optimus, demanding that he let himself and the others go since he's king, but Prime doesn't say anything back. He takes the datapad and leaves
Optimus continues to communicate with you via text. You don't know why. The robot understands you perfectly well, but doesn't speak himself. Not all your questions are answered.
It gets worse when Optimus starts to show you the kind of attention that a member of another species should never receive. And the kind of attention a master doesn't show to his animal.
At first it's sort of casual stroking that lingers a little longer than necessary… But then it's overt caresses. You don't understand how a huge mechanical being can desire you, but it does.
You panic. You can't escape, you can't ask for help, because you're not even a slave. You're still an irrational animal and the only creature that knows it's a lie is your enemy.
You're desperate, and Optimus Prime is in no hurry to reveal the truth to the people of Cybertron. And it seems he never will.

Hello there!!! How’s your day going so far emperor?
Old time fan here! I’ve been catching up on Some of my old transformers fandoms ever since I watched transformers one, and I remember about this awesome project you and many other creators made (btw your work is outstanding, Keep it up!!!) and I’m amazed at how much has changed and it makes me feel incredibly happy that my favorite transformers prime fan-storyline is still here! I remembered finding your videos when it was back in 2020 during quarantine. I always played through the beta version of “mercy” when it first came out and I remember feeling so excited for it; and I’d always wanted to best path for starscream be at least a good guy since he was my favorite character (and still is today)
And now seeing that the game is still in the works and seeing so many new bots is so exciting and happy to see the dedication to this!!! I know I have to catch up on the lore and stuff but it’ll be a fun experience for me, though I just wanted to ask a few questions before I end my first ever question that wasn’t anonymous,
Question 1: is there a discord server where I could possibly join? I want to make sure I could keep up with the latest updates for this project!
Question 2: I know I’ll need to read the Ao3 storyline for mercy but how does predaking and starscreams relationship grow over time during one of the paths? (I can’t remember but I think it was the one where predaking spears him and just keeps an eye on him— along with the predacons going to live in the wild or something? Can’t remember much lol)
And for my last question;
Question 3: Hows the process of “Mercy” going so far? Seeing all the art being made its absolutely stunning and beautifully done!
And that’s all the questions I have for now; until then I’ll be catching up on all the transformers lore that I’ve missed for so many years! I hope you’re having an amazing day Emperor!
————-J
Thank you so much for being a fan of Mercy! I still work on it almost every day! Editing the stories to improve quality, writing new content, drawing, instructing artists, etc.
Have you seen all the art on the Ko-Fi page? I post the commissions there, so there are hundreds of images to see!
For all the latest updates, here is the Discord server. Just so you know, there is a glitch when you enter that doesn't let you interact right away. Stay in the server until I can fix that for you, then you can write your introduction to unlock the whole server. Please read the rules too.
For the storyline you are referring to, I have fully written the story where the Predacons live in the wild of Cybertron with Starscream as their guide. It is THE Starscream story of Mercy and is a tale of friendship. Your adventure gets dangerous later on, so it turns into a fun survival game too! This is the written version of the choose your own adventure story. It's called "Discovery".
The main paths of Transformers: Mercy are on AO3. There are three full length story games available right now and the fourth is in progress. Check out my complete list of works and you may be surprised just how much has been completed since the beta part 1!
Mercy Part 1 (2020): A collection of the various starts to the game. A bit under construction right now to adapt to new plans. Quality is being improved (and the videos will be redone)
Space Adventure (2021): the choice to work with the Autobots on the landing site/spaceport at the end of Part 1. Travel to other worlds!
Reformed Predator (2022): the choice to eat Starscream in Part 1. Become a carnivorous monster then get therapy.
Discovery (2023): the choice to live in the wilderness at the end of Part 1. Explore beautiful lands and befriend Starscream.
Monstrous Heart (2024): the choice to work with the Autobots in the city at the end of Part 1. Discover the dark secrets of the Autobots and Decepticons, thwart the Vehicon mafia.
Right now I'm trying to do a lot of editing for my older content to improve it. I'm also doing a massive effort to prepare Part 2 videos for the Mercy stories so far. And doing my own Mercy art, annd I really need to write Monstrous Heart to completion this year! One novel-length game every year is the goal.

Uncharted territory
Humans are weak, like, weak like the pit, one can just push or grip a little too hard and discover that they don't squish, they pop, and it's messy, Thundercracker has never once do such thing but he has seen the dark red spots in the servos or overall armor of his former decepticon comrades, or that real freak, as in Skullcruncher, that had some on his intake and relating it to rust sticks before Hook had his head for doing such an stupid thing as corrosion started to do it's own job.
Humans have always been quite simple to his optics, their colorful and mobile textiles flow with their movement, what they call skin only shines when they sweat and then they are a little interesting which is frowned upon by other humans and some cybertronians look at it with unbounded disgust, he has seen some use gold in their bodies like wasteful creatures, for a moment he compared their vanity to Starscream's, what he could give to have some gold flakes on his basic energon rations after decades without a real taste.
Then there was Marissa, and her assistant, and her comrades that includes her assistant, and they aren't so bad once he got to know them better, Marissa's optic catching red helm that goes down in curls is one of the main things he gets to notice her in the literal ocean of millions of humans, now Thundercracker is sure her EM field wave is familiar enough to tell she is near by meters.
Then there is Buster, and Buster can do no wrong, he can feel her a mile away and detect her in the same way if, Primus forbid, she ever strays in an ocean of dogs, perfect little beans of love really but one can compare to his good girl.
And then there is you, dull and weary human you are like majority, you make him remember Lo Surrounding, a character in his last script that just goes along with the environment but has a very deep background, you are a lot like that one, but so different still as he answer another question you have about why he is blue and why Skywarp is purple, he is about to answer that he wasn't like this before but bites his glossa to refrain his extensive explication, back in Vos one could refer to a mech as attractive and handsome if his paint job was good enough, a good fortune was required too, and if Thundercracker hasn't been exposed to the rest of things on Cybertron he would still believe Starscream was the top of the food chain and still believe he took his image well.
His paint job is good, but still reminds him of Starscream.
Shiny paint job, nice and wide wings, powerful back, arms and support struts, a nice and balanced income of shanix, good living quarters, a handsome faceplate, he would hear all of that back in the academy as the most desired prospect of a partner, even a conjunx if one is lucky enough.
Then remember that you've your own outburst of color, even if it those aren't yours.
Don't take him wrong, he likes how you can blend easily with what is around you, it's funny to see you around without talking to no one and then saying something smart out of nowhere, he thinks your antics are funny, but he isn't making fun of you, that's his hardly expressed meaning when you ask why he is smiling like a century old youngling in your way before trying to hide it drinking down energon to make you forget about it.
Blend with your environment, take it to your advantage, using it to get important documents from one place to the other without no one interrupting your mission, even if it's just paperwork, having extra time so he can talk your ear off with a new idea popping on his processor about Lo and her spy master abilities that have nothing to do with you, why are you asking? No, he is not using you as a reference to his work but is still grateful that you like it, and the possible romantic progress between Lo and his new main protagonist, but that's something for another day.
Lo and you are low-key, not eye catching, not attention center, and Thundercracker likes that, it's easy to talk with you once he finds where you're, and maybe this one occasion wasn't the best as this one time you were really hiding and he gave your location to people you didn't want to greet that very specific day.
He didn't mean it, and he is so sorry for it, and he believes something really awful is happening to you when he hears you groan in pain, stress and annoyed beyond your limits, he knows Marissa, she would never do someone bad to you, but he has to hold Buster to calm him down, and also to see her in that little cute attire with a ribbon on top with more detail before looking at you again once you're back from that closed room.
In all honesty he feels better when you say that he didn't know, that it wasn't his fault, and Thundercracker has a hard time focusing on your words because there is just so much he can take, all attention focused in that attire you're using, um, dressing.
So pretty, how it goes along your natural organic frame's crevices and curves, a little loose and a little too tight here and there, your expression is one of boredom, of exhaustion, he can't really focus too much on it but in how the little trinkets shine just right if you even move to try and hold less weight on your uncomfortable looking ped protector which looks more like a weapon than a real shoe, very mindful of that colorful thing on your lips that resembles dried energon.
You are so pretty, all shiny, pretty and dangerous as sharp weapons lie at your disposition, his spark vibrates with barely contained excitement of having you in front of him, showing off in front of him even when he knows very well you're here against your own liking to please other organics, but that's just right, having you bless them with your presence is more than enough to die with a happy feeling, the light doing a fine job to make you stunning beyond belief.
Makes him so enamoured beyond himself.
Are this the so rumored bubbles or whatever the humans feel in their tanks? Is this it? He never wants for it to go away as you give him a tired look before someone talks in your direction, and his perfect viewing spot is broken as you go to that human with the grace of a soldier limping out of a murderous battle.
Of course, it's only a matter of time before everyone else starts looking at you too.
And, yeah, he is fine with it, he really is, it's not like he wants your attention back, or that he really wishes you would notice or say something about his new finish, or if you noticed that he waxed himself, trying to match your own light, but so little time can bring him barely time to prepare himself.
You are poised so elegant in his optics, and he looks like he just got out of recharge and tried to look composed, in reality looking like a mess, if Starscream was here he would nag him endlessly, if Skywarp was here he would make fun of him, maybe if Skywarp felt his occasional ounce of pity he would try to help him end his wax job before going out there again to try and win your attention, because humans guide themselves in what they look, and if they like how it looks, how that other person looks, if it checks all the boxes just right, when all it would be needed for Thundercracker to let you know that he is right there is to flash his biolights at you.
Humans don't work like that, they don't understand biolights or feel an EM field, which is fine, really, it's better if you never know about the flare of his as he spots you near, vibrating and warm, an open invitation that most of his people would translate to "look at me" or the shuddering wave and unrefined want when you end up touching him by accident, is his fault to have his sensor points in max level to really feel you, every touch as delicate as you can just to not repeat the time a hand accidentally pushed against his cockpit.
No matter what he said, there was no other way to explain the sound escaping his vox as your fingers pressed to the glass than that it was a uncomfortable place to touch, it would be too embarrassing to say the truth and admit that in reality it was sensitive, keeping his dignity and not look like a desperate youngling was better, even if he still struggles to have you near again, doing his best to find you every time and assure you that it's fine, he is okay, so please touch him again because you are so soft and he loves it so much but it's so embarrassing, and it's so dangerous, because what is he going to do is you don't like his approach.
If you knew he feels attracted to you, of his feelings for you, would you reciprocate? Would you be embarrassed? Would you pack your things and get away from the base to a place he doesn't know?
The answer from his part to any of the questions is that he couldn't handle it properly, the happiness or the endless grief, getting organic-curious wasn't on his plans when he decided to stay on earth, and he isn't even sure what your own preferences are.
So, if you knew, you would understand why he almost jumps out of his place when he feels your hand above his right leg strut, quickly collecting himself and hearing you say something about a group going another way, "away from the higher-ups, just us".
You can't feel his EM field or spark flutter, but you do smile when his wings do.

The times I've thought about you have been plenty. It's a never-ending cycle, for you see, I am falure of a Prime.
Megatron, as you stand before me, blade stabbing through my spark, through the pain and sorrow, I can't help but feel relief. Relief that between the two of us, you are the one to remain alive. With the war over, you having won, I would like to make one final request of you old friend.
Don't kill my comrades.
No matter how much you hate them, what threat they may pose, I beg of you. Leave them alive. It pains me to say, but without me, they won't interfere much with your plans anymore. I can only hope you remember your roots. The kindness and hope for something better your spark held when I was but your archivist, and you, my warrior. It might be selfish to think this in my final moments. But I've always loved you, Megatron.
Perhaps in death, will these feelings finally meet their end.
I love you. I loved you. I never stopped loving you, even in my final moments. I hope to Primus we meet in our next lives and I hope again that it's a much kinder life. One without war or inequality or corruption. One where I can hold your servo in mine without shame. One where you are not Lord Megatron and I Optimus Prime. Leaders of the Decepticons and Autobots respectfully.
Until we meet again in the well of all sparks...
------
Megatron glared at the body of the deceased Prime. A dark pit in his spark. A black hole threatening to swallow all its light. He had thought it a good idea to have Shockwave and Soundwave make a machine that would make the last moments and thoughts of anybot visible and audible. He thought maybe he'd see the Prime's thoughts pleading him to not kill his comrades, as well as fear. Something to explain why Optimus in his final moments commed him ".: Spare them:."
Megatron didn't spare them, of course. He was frankly going to enjoy killing them one by one. But they had all escaped.
How bothersome.
He'd find them someday. He's sure of it. And just to spit in Optimus's last wish, he will torture them, too.
The Prime's face in his last moments echoed in his mind. He growled at the useless longing in his spark, squeezing a random object and breaking it.
He still couldn't believe it. Optimus Prime in love with his arch nemesis. How foolish. How stupid. Ridiculous!
Megatron clawed at the chesplates just over his spark. He could not cry, for his tears had run dry long ago. Foolish indeed. This is not what he thought he wanted. Ruling over Cybertron, having cyberformed earth into a second world for his species.. He had thought he wanted it. Now that he had it, Megatron found it empty. His ambitions were gone, no longer did he have a true equal in this whole galaxy.
None would ever be Optimus Prime.
No, he had to set things right. A world without Optimus is not a world Megatron can live with. Where's the fun in getting everything he wants without a little bit of a constant challenge?
.
. .
. . . .
Megatron, a true Decepticon, able to deceive even himself. Primus mused at this. Silly child, went on to kill his other half. This just won't do.
Their short story won't end like this. Primus will not allow it. He Who is Forever Tainted by Unicron, you will live life anew. You shall only know when the time is right, and your debt to Primus has been paid off of what they have done. Do not make the same choices that lead you to make your biggest regret. Make no mistake, this wish is not for you, but for he who is favored by me.
Make the child of Primus, he who was once Orion Pax and later one of Primus's true Primes enjoy a life worth living.
This is your one and only chance. Make it count.
. . . .

Meg-tron
"MEGATRON!"
Megatron woke up with a jolt. He tried to online his battle protocols, and they hummed loudly, ready to come out. But something stopped him. A servo, two, actually. Each cupped his cheeks and wiped away his tears. He turned to look at the bot whose servos they belonged to and found none other than Optimus Prime. "You're alive?"
Optimus looked bewildered for a moment, he could feel it through their bond. Bond? He felt affection, worry, and love from the Prime.
"I am very much alive, Megatron." Optimus leaned in to press their forehelms together. Megatron's servos easily reached to hold the Prime's waist as if they'd done so thousands of times. Maybe even more than that. "You must have had a nightmate."
"A nightmare.." It seemed so vivid. A world without Optimus, one where he had..
Megatron doesn't even want to think about it. His spark was still beating wildly in its chamber, and he recognized he still felt fear. A few well placed kisses from his bondmate further eased his worries and sorrow that still felt fresh in his processor and spark. Right. He and Optimus were Conjuxed now. Megatron greedily leaned into the kiss, but one small playful bap from his beloved made him huff and smile. Softening the kiss that would have become more desperate had it continued.
Megatron held Optimus for a long moment. His helm burrowed on the Prime's neck, the action mirrored by his other half. Small comforting kisses are being pressed on Megatron's neck along with quiet words of love. Primus, Optimus was a soft fool. But he was Megatron's soft fool.
They had layed back down at one point, still as close to one another as they could be. And they remained like that. Optimus having fallen asleep again at one point.
Megatron knew Optimus was a blessing, he just hadn't realized how much of one he was until he had that dream. No. The fragmented memories of his past life. Megatron had never seen them before, and even now they were hazy. But the feelings had persisted and carried over. He realized this now. It was thanks to them he reacted rather irrationally at many points in this life, but his longing for Optimus to be by his side remained the same. It had just taken a much, much more romantic turn than his other self would have thought.
Megatron had no regrets though. None at all. As he pressed a soft kiss on Optimus's audial, he smiled soft. "I love you." He wispered. He had said it so many times already, yet somehow this felt like the first.

Did I Ever Really Know You? (SG TFOne Fanfic) - Chapter 2
It was supposed to be a one-shot, but alas... skskks
Okay but I decided to make more because I realized that chapter 1 was like the first stage of grief (denial). So now, we have the second stage: anger.
So yeah, this is a continuation of a previous fic I posted, there will be a link to it here (though you could also just read the fic on Ao3 as well).
prev | next
The remains of Sentinel had been reduced to nothing but scrap in Sub-Level 50. Optimus Prime had ensured it himself. While he would have preferred a reminder of everything the mech had done to them, just the sight of that grisly frame sent a spark of anger through his processor that if he wanted to be a good ruler for Iacon, then he would have to erase anything that could trigger such a violent reaction. After all, despite the burning rage inside him, he wouldn’t hurt his new citizens. They had been so loyal to him, why needlessly punish them?
Bee had been ecstatic when Optimus had granted him the honors. It was the second time the mech had shown such joy. The first had been when Sentinel had died. In truth, Optimus didn’t really care who would melt down Sentinel’s frame but Bee had been so eager that he decided to reward him. Bee had been loyal to him. He had stayed and done what Optimus had asked. None of that arguing or fighting that some of the other mechs had done. Of course, Optimus had subdued the protestors and ensured they could never go against his orders again.
If Dee had stayed, Optimus would have granted him that honor. After all, what better gift to give to his future conjunx than the opportunity to kill his torturer? Dee should have been happy. He should have been as happy as Bee when Sentinel died. The energon in his cables boiled as he remembered the last time he’d seen Dee. There was another reason Optimus had wanted Sentinel reduced to scrap. Remembering Dee take that mech’s arm for himself, using it to attack him, was enough to send him into a rage. Good. He would need that anger soon enough.
With energon restored to Cybertron, there was no longer any need for the mines to remain. Optimus had personally ensured that detonation would occur once he’d given his official word. To think that in another world he and Dee would have stayed down there until they died, probably to some mining accident. An insignificant death. He had snuck down, unable to recharge as memories of Dee haunted him. He needed one last moment, one last look at the place where he and Dee had first met. It would be the last time any mech would step pede in this darkness.
Optimus wouldn’t go deep into the mines, he only had one place he needed to see. Soon enough, he was standing by a familiar berth. His digits traced the scribbles on it, remnants of Dee’s thoughts etched onto the metal. Despite himself, a smile played on his dermas as he remembered the countless times he would find Dee standing by his berth, no doubt writing down whatever mathematical formula or idea he had come up with. Yet with those memories came the debates they’d had. Optimus didn’t regret them one bit. He had only wanted what was best for Dee.
“Dreaming again?” He leaned against the berth, examining his fellow miners in recharge. It was still dark outside, but Pax was used to onlining early. While he usually chose to enter the archives at any convenient time, he found that it was easier to sneak in when most mechs were still in their berths. After he would usually return to the miners’ quarters and sit at the roof, processing the information, but he had run into an online Dee the moment he had gotten back. The mech was scribbling notes, and Pax never wasted an opportunity to talk to Dee.
“Pax!” Dee had quickly covered his intake with a servo, unwilling to accidentally disturb the other miners from their recharge. Pax rolled his optics. Always so considerate of other mechs. He leaned closer, skimming through the new numbers and symbols that decorated Dee’s berth. He understood them, after all, Pax wasn’t stupid - but he didn’t particularly care about really processing them right now. “Did you go to the archives again? One of these days, you’ll get caught and demoted, Pax. You could have at least told me before you left. I know I’m good at thinking on the spot but—”
“I really don’t get you.” His vocalizer didn’t betray his feelings yet, but from the way Dee flinched, Pax knew the other mech could tell where this line of conversation was going. Honestly, he didn’t enjoy picking a fight with Dee. There were other mechs - like that pathetic Darkwing - that he enjoyed messing with. Dee was his best friend, and the most Pax usually ever did was tease the mech. But he was tired. He had just gotten back from a perilous journey to the archives, and here was Dee, indulging in his dreams underneath the safety veil of complacency.
“Pax…” Dee awkwardly gestured to the recharging mechs. It was a weak excuse to avoid the lecture. Right, that’s what it was. Pax never fought with Dee and he wasn’t picking a fight. Rolling his optics, Pax grabbed him by the arm before dragging him to the roof. Fine, he’ll spare Dee the embarrassment. Besides, Pax didn’t want to give the other mechs any ideas that they could lecture Dee. Only Pax was allowed to do that. Slamming the door shut behind them, Pax let Dee take a few steps back. “We’re miners, Pax. Our role is to mine energon—”
“Is that what you want forever, Dee?! To mine until we die in a mining accident?!” Pax kept moving closer, with Dee backing away until he had nowhere else to go. That close, Pax could see the way Dee’s blue optics widened. Not in fear. Dee only ever held concern for him. Pax raised a servo to his helm, his spark thrumming with indignation and pent-up hurt. “This can’t be my life forever, Dee. I deserve more than this. You deserve more than this. We can’t stay here in the darkness, Dee. I… I can’t live like this. I won’t.”
“Pax… It’s not forever. Think of how Sentinel Prime scours the surface for the Matrix of Leadership.” Dee had reached out, grabbing his servo in his. Pax’s gaze flickered back to his best friend. Those blue optics were always enough to calm him down… but then Dee just had to continue. “Sentinel Prime continues to sacrifice his safety each time he goes to the surface. We have to have hope that he’ll find the Matrix and restore energon to Cybertron. Until then, every mech has a role to play. Even if we are cogless, we have a duty to Iacon—”
“If you believe so much in duty, then why dream? Why hurt yourself like this, Dee? Why not resign yourself to being a miner if you truly believe that is our duty to Iacon?” Pax gripped Dee’s servo in his, not unkindly, but more so to cement himself. He knew his vocoder had turned cold, the anger ebbing into a chill that made the other mech in front of him shake. “Why delude yourself in this hope? Doesn’t it hurt, Dee? Why continue to dream and do nothing to achieve it? Aren’t you scared of dying before reaching your dream?”
Dee didn’t really have an answer. They stood there in silence until light began to fall on them. Down below, they both knew that the other miners were beginning to online from their recharge. No one would care to notice that they were missing. So, Pax stayed there, holding onto Dee’s servo. He wasn’t sure when, but at some point, he had begun to actually care for the other mech. When they had first met, Pax had only spoken to him because Dee had amused him. Now… Pax couldn’t quite understand why his spark ached for Dee and his dreams.
“I don’t know. I can’t do what you do. You… you’re reckless. You don’t consider the consequences. Maybe Primus loves you so much that you continue to get away with it. I’m not you, Pax. I can’t sneak into the archives, and I don’t want to. I… can only dream.” Dee pulled his servo away, placing it awkwardly against his shoulder pad before walking past him. Pax remained where he was, watching the back of Dee’s frame as he headed back - towards their quarters to prepare for another rotational period in the cold dark. “Come on, we can’t be late.”
Then Pax was alone, the light nearly blinding his optics as he looked up at the sky. Ever since he’d first gone online, Pax had known there was more to him. Even after he had been designated as a miner and understood that he was cogless, he knew he’d have to prove to every mech that he was so much more. He had only cared about reaching his own dreams. To pit with everyone else. Now… He stared back to where Dee had left.
Why did he feel the need to make sure Dee would achieve his own dreams too?
Optimus was broken out of the memory at the sound of metal crunching. He looked up, realizing that while he had been distracted, he had grabbed the berth and was now in the processing of crushing it. He had already left quite the dent. Even though he had come back to his senses, his processor kept rewinding that scene of Dee walking away from him, resigning himself to another rotational period in the mines - leaving Optimus alone to stare at the surface sky. They had risen up to the surface together… Now here he was in the mines, completely alone.
The axe sunk into the berth, sparks flying past as he started striking at the metal. What did it matter? With just one word, this entire place would be gone. What difference did it make that this berth would be destroyed by him personally? He kept striking, feeling the heat of the sparks against him. He needed it all gone. He needed those scribbles - useless numbers and formulas from a mech who would never dare to actually use them - gone. No. Erased. No other mech should ever get to see them. They will die in the dark. Where they belonged.
Soon, the axe wasn’t enough. His servos began to smash against the berth, energon leaking past his damaged digits as he struck again and again. Optimus didn’t know how long he had spent doing it, but by the time he had come back to his senses, he could hardly recognize the berth before him. The scribbles were gone, crushed into nothing.
He felt himself kneel to the ground, venting hard as the gravity of what he’d done overcame him. It was stupid. The berth would have been destroyed in the detonation of the mines, but somehow he felt foolish having destroyed it himself.
But he was no fool. He knew it wasn’t the berth or the scribbles that were tearing at his spark. It was Dee, and how Optimus had let him go.
He had only wanted to kill Sentinel and any mech who still followed that deceiver.
Dee had jumped in the way.
For all their differences. Even after Optimus had let his rage consume him the moment he had found out Sentinel’s deception, he had never thought of harming Dee.
The broken arm in his new quarters said otherwise. Optimus could hardly stand to look at it. He kept it still since it was the only remembrance he had of Dee.
They were supposed to build the future together.
As much as he loathed it, Optimus hoped that Dee was still doing his silly equations up on the surface.
Now they were both free to achieve their dreams.
Optimus had yet to fulfill his. It was an honor to be a Prime, but he was so alone…
“You belong by my side, Dee.” He murmured, his red optics shining in the dark. “I’ll drill it into your processor until you realize you belong nowhere else but with me.”

TFP bots of your choice reacting to an earthborn bot. This would have some interesting implications given the fact they would likely, like humanity, be considered an 'offspring' or 'spawn' of Unicron or at least have a connection to him due to being earthborn. They also likely wouldn't have any idea of cybertron or cybertronian history and would be one of the youngest bots, probably younger than even bumble bee. All of this is wildly interesting conceptually to me.
This is an interesting idea, I’ll give you that. Idk if I executed this very well though, and I don’t remember all the details of the episodes I set this in. These ended up pretty damn long for HCs, but I don’t think you guys will mind. I’ll try to do a part 2 to this later, there’s probably gonna be more interactions with the bots in that one
•Unicron made you or you were born of him at least, you’re not really sure yourself
•You’re still young and you don’t know about anything the life outside unicron
•You were born in the earth’s core so you’ve always lived inside unicron
•The dark energon doesn’t affect you like it does cybertronians, since it’s all you’ve ever had in your body, it’s just normal to you
•If you were to use normal energon though, that might have some adverse effects
•Those flying things that work as unicron’s defense system, are also protective of you, because they consider you to be a part of him
•But when they suddenly start acting strange and all heading in the same direction, you decide to follow them
•You always thought there wasn’t anyone like you, because you’d never seen anyone else and you had no idea a place like Cybertron even existed
•So when you see a group of five robots walking around on one of the bridges, with the flying creatures attacking them
•You keep an eye on them, following the group as they advance towards the core
•You’re very interested in where these fellow robots could’ve come from, there must be another place, a place with others like you
•So you followed them and when they got to the door of the core chamber the yellow one noticed you while he was looking around
•He didn’t shoot at you, but he alerted the others to your presence
•You were too curious about them to try to get away, because you wanted to go with them, you wanted to see what else was out there
•Maybe they would take you with them?
•Bee was obviously pretty spooked to see another cybertronian in a place where it was supposed to be impossible
•You didn’t seem to be affected by the dark energon either, even though you looked younger than him and smaller too
•You slowly came out from behind a pillar and approached the group
•They were all shocked to see you and when they noticed you had purple optics everyone but Megatron was on guard
•He doesn’t think you could possibly be a threat, you look small and weak
•You’re actually much stronger than the average cybertronian due to the dark energon, but you’ve never had a point of comparison so you wouldn’t know that
•Arcee was probably the most on guard, because she figured you were another unicron manifestation or something
•You want to ask them so many things, but the flying guard creatures don’t leave them alone, so you command them to do so, which they do even if hesitantly
•You’re not exactly into the idea that they’re going to hurt your creator, but you’re also very keen on getting to whatever else is out there
•Optimus approaches you first, asking if you’re okay
•You look at him a bit weirdly and tell him “Of course, why wouldn’t I be?”
•You talk in cybertronian instead of english, since that’s what unicron knew and what you know too
•They can all understand you of course, but you also speak sort of weirdly and in an old-ish way compared to how they would speak cybertronian
•You’re not going to be able to hold back the guards forever, you can already feel them resisting, trying to break free
•So the consensus amongst the autobots is something like “what in the name of primus is this?”
•Megatron doesn’t really care, he just wants to get the job done and get unicron back to stasis
•You don’t even know where to start with your questions, but the situation changes and unicron takes control of the guards and the fighting continues
•You eventually end up following the remaining autobots through a whirling hole in space, after the two bigger mechs disappear through the same kind of portal
•You’re in some other place now, surrounded by the robots that are all now pointing their blasters at you
•And there are some weird looking little creatures on a platform next to you
