How did it start: Willow met Issei as Rias's date to a ball (one to secretly celebrate her divorce from Jacques) that she invited the Gremory family to and was rather taken by how such a man managed to attract a princess to such a royal family. And she has to admit he is a bit of a refreshing change in pace from all the prim, uptight, social circles that she's been in her whole life where she can't know what they really think about things because of social games. Issei's straightforward and honest approach to life was definitely something she enjoyed. And when she saw how many girls he was with as well as Rias, she didn't see a reason why she couldn't join in as well for some casual fun and relaxarion (she also had a bit to drink at the ball which also loosened her up a bit).
