Maia The Artíste - Waters Deep - four-movement suite by a member of AACM *and* Pan Afrikan Peoples Arkestra

Water is life. Water is a vital spiritual medicine, essential for cleansing and healing. It embodies a space for surrender, memory, strength, and enlightenment. All living beings depend on water to thrive, as it symbolizes life, fertility, and sustenance, as well as hardship. For many people, water is viewed as a sacred gift from the Creator. Multi-instrumentalist Maia (Sonjia Denise Hubert Harper), a longtime member of Chicago's AACM and the Pan Afrikan Peoples Arkestra in Los Angeles, originally created Waters Deep as a solo harp piece to accompany a dance tribute, choreographed by Laurie Goux, for the iconic dancer, Miss Katherine Dunham in Chicago in 1996. Miss Dunham was present at the debut of this piece. Over many years, Waters Deep evolved into a three-movement suite celebrating water as life’s essential force. This album is dedicated to Derf Reklaw, James Leary, Y’deedaw Dardah (Cheryl Coleman), Katherine Dunham, and Oscar “Bobo” Brown, III, who have passed on. Special Thanks to Radha Botafasina for the use of her Camac Pedal Harp and Salvi Lever Harp. The Lyon & Healy Lever Harp is from Maia’s personal collection. 'Roots' by the Reklaws. Just bleeds everything I love about Canada, hockey, and country music. It's the song of the radio on late night drives in the winter, the song of jumbotron montages, the song of smalltown kids hoisting trophies under the big city lights.

12. favorite book sequel?

Hmmm, that's hard. Can't think of any that stand out. Some good ones are Stormy, Misty's Foal by Marguerite Henry, or The Christmas Blessing by Donna VanLiere. I hope the sequel to Pax will be good, but I haven't read it yet.

Sleep deprived danny and dani

So dani was coming to visit danny, and it was going good

Until a new threat interrupted them

Danny wanted to deal with it on his own but dani after traveling for so long had developed some new powers and skills she wanted to show off so she pestered danny until he agreed

Now the threat wasn't strong, either of them could have taken him out, buuuuuut he had a artefact that could travel the infinite realms

Now even if the threat is outside of amity park they cant just let an artefact like that still be in his possession

And because of the time difference between the infinite realms while there only gone an hour in amity park, for danny and dani they've been chasing this fucker for a week straight

So after a week the asshole finally stops in this 1 universe and has been there for a while (they've given up on time awareness) (the guys been there for a month)

So they open a portal, beat she shit out of the guy for making them chase him like scooby doo and take back the artefact

However it was after that they saw where they were, it was a weird room with the "we love spandex club" in it and on the other side there were fruitloops who called themselves "the light"

Danny and dani look at eachother, dani makes sure they have the artefact and danny puts the guy they were chasing in soup time to interrogate later

They open a portal and leave for the sweet release of sleep
