You know how there's a gap between Joe/Cherry and the kids right? So there's obviously going to be a gap in their slang, too...

Do you think Reki and Langa say 'I'm cooked' and then Joe says it ironically because 1) it jokingly pisses them off and 2) he thinks it's funny because he owns a restaurant.

But one day Joe sees Cherry doing smth (this is pre-relationship btw) and he whispers 'Chat am I cooked?' to himself. Everyone in a 2km radius takes 50 psychic damage.

i think one of the funniest fandom things ive seen recently was in 2021 when Sk8 the Infinity was release and half the Haikyuu fandom was like "TRUST US - dont invent a bunch of gross dad and mom fanon stuff for those two characters. it is NOT HEALTHY. LEARN FROM OUR MISTAKES."

and then the next week Sk8 dropped an episode where their tween character pretends to be their son and calls them mom and dad

and the Sk8 fandom (especially those that came over from haikyuu) just threw their hands in the air and was like well FUCK.

The round of applause that came with performing on the ice was like nothing else, the roaring crowds celebration always melding into one chaotic cheer as she made her way to the starting position.

Langa Hasegawa, one of the most graceful and seemingly natural skaters in the junior division, had always made figure skating seem effortless. She was home on the ice, at least that was what she always believed. Her mother had been one of the most beloved skaters in her hometown, and Langa had always loved learning beside her.

Now, with the beautiful music playing, Langa began her routine. Simple and beautiful as ever.

Though what would have usually brought with it a racing heart and a feeling of warmth and joy, there was a dull numbness. Everything had changed since her mother had passed away. What was there to enjoy about skating when she didn't have anyone to share it with?

That day, with the ringing in her ears and the usually bright crowds cheers becoming overwhelming and wretched, Langa quit the performance. She'd lost herself.

Sat on the plane to Okinawa, she hoped she might be able to find herself again.
