My school is in a school break and I got so bored so I decided to draw 12 future diary holders.

The 3rd World isn't really a satisfying ending, not for me, at least,,

I mean everyone gets happier, yeah, (save for Minene and Takao) but that's through... Butterfly effect.. Erasing Tsubaki and Reisuke's trauma. Karyuudo knowing Hinata cares for the dogs makes him care for her more in the future, I guess. John Balls is the same but he got Kamado which. He does not deserve !!

They didn't learn to cope with their traumas. They didn't learn from their mistakes (Karyuudo). They just turned the road before it could happen.

I want to see them grow to be happy, rather than erase the possibility of their trauma. I'm glad they didn't go through the attrocities, but this is just.. horrifying to see in my view. Trauma builds how one views the world, and that view might be harmful. I want to see them unlearn the things that they've grown into themselves. I want them to move on.

But by erasing the possibility of the car accident happening, meaning the snowball of Tsubaki's and Reisuke's traumas vanishing, these are just. Entirely different people. They did not grow. They did not learn.

And,, I guess,, Yuno and Yukiteru too. They didn't,, learn a thing. The timeline just. Did its thing and spun it into their parents being better. Their parents didn't grow at all, they just. Became different people because they just so happen to have the dark path they were on before erased.

Yuno learned how to grow past her parents' abuse, but only the one that was moments before committing suicide. That 'saved' Yuno is happier in regards that she will not have that trauma, but she is. Fundamentally just. A different person.

The path to her mental decay just got blocked, rather than Yuno growing and searching, intentionally finding a better path to be a better person.

(tell me if I'm wrong about Yuno tbh I have hard times with her character)
