Baffled that there are The Black Hole (1979) funko pops.

I don't really know how to articulate why it's so weird--you kinda have to have seen the film to understand. It's just such a... weird little project.

Like, watch this clip and tell me if you'd make a highly marketable chibi version of the big red robot:

It's hypnotizing in how simultaneously appealing and unappealing it is. It's like a bad episode of TOS with visual effects from ten years in the future. It's one of the messiest major films I've ever seen. It was the most expensive picture Disney had ever released up to that point. It was a critical flop (both the audience's and critic's scores on rotten tomatoes are in the 40% range) and then it just kinda... disappeared.

No cultural impact. Barely even a cult classic.

And yet there are funko pops. What are we doing here?

Uuhh I skip pve event cutscenes if the rest of the team does lol

Except for junkenstein bc it's short and ppl can deal w it.

Some of my Funko Pop collection that I'm actually quite proud of. I need to stop buying toys though, honestly. 😆 Lmao. I'm still so grateful for these gifts and am looking forward to the continuation (or endings) of some of these shows! Thanks for the 100 follows, everyone!  Glad to have you all y’all! I got some of my pops today!  I’m missing Lúcio and probably won’t take pictures of him unless requested, but they’re so cute!  Very happy to have them all at home on my computer desk. mains Ana because he gets to shoot his own people

also often plays shield tanks but more passively

he’ll always stay with the team and rarely engage in combat

protecting and keeping an eye out for the healers because he knows how much it sucks when everyone keeps killing you and your team doesn’t care

Seonghwa

stressed healer main, mostly plays Mercy 

has the “you’re welcome” voice line equipped and uses it almost 24/7

doesn’t heal the people who piss him off, just super passive-aggressive towards everyone who doesn’t appreciate his healing

the mercy who gets zero upvotes for healing like 80% of all the damage, that’s where all the frustration comes from

Reinhardt main

charges into the enemy team on his own while screaming “sorry” at his healers

gets super invested in the story, watches all the cinematic short-movies, reads all the comics, etc

only plays the characters he actually likes personality-wise

Yeosang

doesn’t have a main, knows how to play almost all of the characters

the type to troll his team by taking characters that make seemingly no sense (because of a certain map or because of the enemy team’s composition)

always plays Widowmaker on attack or Genji against a Winston etc.

gets lots of shit for it but somehow he always makes it work??

just pure skill, has a second account where he’s grandmaster but just fucks around in quickplay on his main

San

super uplifting and supportive, especially towards healers

always giving out endorsements and reporting mean players

hypes others up when they did a great ult

has ALL the pachimari plushies at home 

spams “hi” in the spawn room and tries to get the basketball into the hoop

Mingi

DPS main who always runs in alone

doesn’t do it on purpose though and is actually sorry that he keeps getting himself killed

collects the Funko Pop figurines

actually a pretty good player when he groups up, stuck in platinum hell

Wooyoung

gets on mic to scream orders at everyone in the team chat

it makes sense though, his tactics are actually smart

but he’s just so damn L O U D

probably a “mada mada” spamming Genji main

shoots at the basketball just as someone tries to get it into the hoop in spawn

Jongho

Roadhog main who hooks people off edges and waves at them as they fall to their demise

also plays Mei and sweetly says his to his frozen victims before he shoots them in the head

probably watches the Overwatch league

Opinion on those funko pop figures? Like them? Think they're overdone?

I personally think they're neat, but only get them if it's of a framchise or characyer I really love. The ones I have being Reaper and Reinhardt from overwatch (haven't touched those games in a while, but those are my mains), Iron man and hulk buster from the mcu, the Indoraptor from JW: Fallen Kingdom, and all of team RWBY from rwby!
