Where ???%/Shigeo chaos in the confession arc is classified as Disaster level Demon (bordering on Dragon if he's not stopped). And the ones on their way there are Genos and Saitama

But there's no need for them to really be there since once they arrive the problems as already been taken care of. "I wonder which hero managed to take care of this before we arrived" Genos ponders.

Saitama is about to complain about the fact he was missing some sale on veggies for nothing. A Second time that problems in this city seem to take care of themselves.

They are about to simply make their way home, Genos saying that maybe if they are quick enough they can still make it. Then they notice two people walking among the deserted and destroyed city. Genos decides to go and see, maybe they need assistance. As they approach he sees the way man seems in bad shape and the teenager had been crying. "Do you need help to join safety?" he asks, the teenager looking back at him surprised.

Mob is about to reply that his shisho would need some help, but he is interrupted when Reigen suddenly blurps out "Saitama?", with a surprised and dumbfounded look on his face.

Saitama looks back at the injured man, no emotion really showing on his face, until recognition suddenly bloom on his face. "Arataka?".

"You two know each other shisho/sensei?" Mob and Genos ask at the same time.

The air suddenly becomes awkward as Reigen lets out an just as awkward laugh, scratching at his head (which he winces at the action).

"Mob you may know the Hero Saitama? He's... my ex" he admits.

"It's been a while" Saitama offers to Reigen, which is true, they haven't seen each other in years.

"What?!" Genos and Mob suddenly react.

"Yeah it's been a while, I guess we were both too busy to meet up" Reigen says, "But I can see you are doing pretty good right now, finally became a Hero" he grinned.

"How's your business?" Saitama then wonders

"Sailing smoothly" Reigen grins, carefully throwing an arm around Mob's shoulder to bring him closer, "Even got a powerful student and employee" he added.

Mob doesn't miss the glance Genos gives him, as if trying to assess him.

"Happy to hear everything is going smoothly then"

"I didn't know sensei had an ex" Genos mentions, something in his voice sounding sour and dangerous, glaring at Reigen, making the man back off as Mob steps more in front of him, eyes not leaving the cyborg.

"If my calculation is correct, I think we still have a chance to get the sales if we go now" Genos mentions to Saitama.

This seems to catch Saitama's attention greatly, pully his phone out "No time to chat around then, but we could try and meet again later... if you want" Saitama suggest.

Reigen quickly accept as they exchange numbers again, making sure neither of them had changed theirs. Mob and Reigen wave at them as they rapidly get on their way for the sales, Reigen finally relaxing now that the perceived threat of Genos is gone.

"He hasn't changed" Reigen hums, "Still running after sales" he mentions when Mob looks back up at him, curious. Mob simply nods at this, unsure what to make of this strange encounter. Something in him is happy they somehow didn't figure out he was the one who caused this.

"Let's go now, Why don't we go get ramen after we find my shoes?" Reigen offered, arm thrown over Mob's shoulder once more for support, back on their previous path.

Well, first off, Mob n Rit's mom is Saitama's 10 years older sister, so Saitama was abt 11-12 when Mob was born. Saitama already didn't like his parents, but his parents being violently against Mob's tendency to float and bend spoons just made him dislike them even more. He ended up moving in with his sister to go to highschool (he was 15-18, she was 25-28, Mob was 4-7 and Rit was 3-6) so he did have quite a bit of presence in the boys' lives when they were younger, but then he moved out to a crappy apartment in a different city because rates where his sister lives are Insane ("Seasoning" is just the local term for City S, made based on all the street names and community buildings that just happen to be named after herbs and spices. The rise in villain activity started around when Mob was born, and For Some Reason stronger monsters and villains avoid City S like it's some bigger monster's territory, wink wink nudge nudge, so since it's almost never destroyed the property values went insane)

A little under a year after Saitama moved out, The Incident happened, and Saitama quit his job to help his sister back home. He wasn't really scared of Mob, so he spent a lot more time with him while Mob was avoiding home, most of the time supervising Reigen and Mob's interactions (and having a brief relationship with Reigen that Sai broke off). A year later, he tried to move away again because he was pretty ashamed he had no real prospects and kept sleeping on his sister's couch. He couldn't find a job as easy then, and got pretty depressed, but refused to go to his sister for help because he's already asked a lot of her.

Then, 23 years old, Sai started training! Six months after he starts, he gets the motivation to visit his family, he ends up catching Mob in a 100% but he just picks Mob up by the armpits and carries him out to the backyard like a muddy dog. He gets a few bruises but he doesn't get hurt as easily anymore. Everyone notices. Now he makes a tradition of visiting after anything bad happens to take Mob on a 'road trip' where they go to a big empty dirt field and Mob vents. Saitama is one of Mob's favorite people because he knows for a fact he couldn't hurt Saitama. Mob is one of Saitama's favorite people because he's part of what made Saitama want to help people so badly.

Genos is very worried abt Mob as a concept because Mob is probably the second strongest person on earth and he's also only a child.

Ritsu likes Saitama, Ritsu used to feel more safe with Mob after The Incident when Mob was with Saitama (even before Sai got his powers, Sai has just always had a level of unaffectedness at Mob's powers, like they weren't really scary)

Reigen might be running the small Caped Baldy Fan Forum. It's still only hero worship if it's his ex that he never fully got over

Holiday Hi-jinks - Ch 11

[i actually started this for wanpanmas 2021 and things spiraled out of control, lol]

Pairing: Garou x Genos. Garou and Saitama Are Besties (and also drive each other crazy constantly). There is some background Serirei, which I hadn't anticipated, but characters are like children--they're gonna do what they're gonna do.

Fic Summary: When Garou and Genos agree to watch Tareo for the holidays, chaos ensues. Genos accidentally ruins Christmas with science. Saitama confronts his arch nemesis (elves). And who the heck keeps melting all of Garou's snow monsters? Certainly not Reigen Arataka.

In this Chapter: Garou finally gets revenge on Saitama for stealing his Christmas decorations. The elves have their own plans. Everyone in the house has one fucking braincell. This reads a little bit more like a horror movie than most other chapters. You can blame John-senpai for this, as well as most of my other bad ideas.

“Where were you on the morning of December 22nd?” Garou demanded, slamming his palms on the table. “And don’t give me some bullshit about ‘playing video games’—King is sick and tired of covering for your ass."

Garou adjusted the desk lamp, beaming a harsh glare directly into Saitama’s eyes. With the right lighting and a few key props, Garou had transformed their kitchen into some kind of hybrid courtroom/interrogation chamber… not that you could easily see it. For the sake of dramatic effect, Garou had kept the room dark—except for the interrogation lamp, of course.

Saitama hated Christmas decorations, and Garou understood this. Perhaps for that reason, Garou had decorated their entire yard with garish Christmas geegaws of every terrible, tacky stripe. The tiny wooden elves were the worst offenders, and so Saitama had stolen them a few days ago, and subsequently dumped them in the lake.

“Hey, watch where you aim that thing.” Scowling, Saitama batted the lamp away from his face. Garou, being the impudent cat that he was, batted it right back where it had been. The spotlight washed over the elves, illuminating their loathsome little features and their unusual outfits.

“Did you have to dress the elves up in little judge robes?” Saitama protested. “That’s so weird—”

“Focus, Baldy,” Garou growled. “The longer you stay silent, the worse it’s gonna be for you.”
