[I think mushroom is a great option to do as calamari, because it kind of does have that same texture as regular calamari. Za'atar seasoning is really good. Gives it a little Israeli flair.]

I just got psychic damage by hearing Lauriam’s name on youtube pronounced as “larry-am”
#the guy keeps saying it like that throughout and I’m just like no😰#gives me that fear of how will the eng dub will eventually pronounce his name#the way his name starts looks like the word ‘laurel’ like the plant#so I argue that’s more fitting and sounds more elegant like that#and by saying it like that larryam u imply that his diminutive nickname would be larry and not laurie#now i can’t help but imagine brain calling him larry as a joke and lauriam just side eyes him like ( ¯−¯ )#(plus side note the way his name ends is a lot like the suffix -arium implying a purposeful place or setting like planetarium terrarium etc#so his name breaks down to meaning an enclosure or space where laurel is kept#Laurel leaves classically symbolized as a mark of achievement#very befitting of this overachiever who’s done with all his tasks by noon#and now a headcanon his parents were like what should we name our fancy son something distinctive but still regular sounding…#solution: combine the names Laurence and William there ya go#kh#khux#lauriam#all this typed out because I couldn’t ignore the way this person said his name 🧍🏽#extra side note for fun his name in Spanish would be lorellermo??? lorenmo??#edit: wait wait how about FLORELLERMO 💐✨👏 I’ll be here all night#I’m using the squidward naming logic cause he’s called calamardo in Spanish (calamari and Eduardo)

Technically we could've kept the tadpoles post game in theory.
While it's probably a little different with Netherese magic getting involved, the tadpoles and the elder brains are not inherently connected (normally). A baby illithid can survive without an elder brain. The result is... a giant monster worm terrorising and consuming all it encounters, but the manipulative eldritch horror that tyrannises the mind flayers is not required for its existence and survival. The brain dying did not actually have to result in the tadpoles dying.
Furthermore, ceremorphosis as a health condition can be managed. I'd have to look it up again, but I believe it's restoration or something in that family of healing spells which resets the damage the tadpole doe. Keep on top of your castings and it won't eat your brain and squidface you. Remove the Netherbrain and its ability to auto-squid you and they're no longer such a danger. ...of course if you die and become a squid you need a miracle spell to bring you back, so it's a risky health condition.
#I don't think most of the party cares how manageable it is because nobody else is benefiting form having one in their skull but#I'd suggest fixing Astarion's sunlight issue by getting him another brain worm but unfortunately normal tadpoles can't host in the undead#Because their brains are useless dead meat#There's no activity or nutrition in there#Apparently his brain should taste like frozen pizza or something#...Also regular tadpoles don't bestow sunlight resistance afaik#lore stuff#calamari hours

So I've finally finished Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and not only did I enjoy the last three seasons way more than I thought I would, but I was not prepared for how delightfully unhinged the show became. Some of my favourite plot points included:
The female protagonist has a long-lost sister with superpowers who becomes the key to the entire crew returning to their original timeline through the Quantum Realm. Said long-lost sister is not introduced or even hinted at until the last five episodes of the entire show.
Half of one season takes place in a dystopian 2091 where the young twenty-something scientist couple not only meet their grandson who is the same age as them but said grandson returns to the present, becomes a series regular, and calls them "Nana" and "Bobo" in some Once Upon A Time worthy family tree shenanigans. Oh he also gets stuck in the 80s and claims he wrote Don't You (Forget About Me)
Phil Coulson dies in Season 5 because in order to stop an evil AI -turned-human-turned evil because she got dumped by a small Scottish man he has to become Ghostrider. The entire season builds up to this in a way that makes it feel very much like the actor is stepping away from the show and retiring the character, only for them to cast Clarke Gregg as an evil deity from another dimension in Season 6 and as a Life Model Decoy that may as well just be Phil Coulson in Season 7
Patton Oswalt plays multiple identical characters who all work for SHIELD. This is never fully explained.
“Mata Hari Calamari”
The final season is a decade-hopping gimmick with matching genre episodes that beat WandaVision to the punch
One character is a robot anthropologist who just wants to be best friends with the same small Scottish man. He has canonically been trained to perform in alien brothels and eventually becomes a bartender in the Crazy Canoe in 1955. He is one of the absolute best parts of the show.
One plot line follows said same Scottish Man and robot anthropologist as they get stranded in outer space with their only way home being to gamble in an alien casino while their friends attempt to rescue them but accidentally take LSD instead
"I found that bluffing was much easier if you kill someone and take their skin."
Area 51 is canonically a SHIELD base
#agents of shield#spoilers#agents of shield spoilers#marvel#mcu#honestly this show isn't perfect but it was much stronger than I was anticipating#esp as CA:TWS literally blew up their premise before their first season was even finished

The splatoon meal was a bit of a disaster (the calamari didn't turn out at all, the pasta was underseasoned, and it was all around a big mess), but I present to you:
Technicolor Clash Pasta, Inkopolis Plaza's signature dish!
It has the regular and splatfest variations, and the two drinks are ones from Crab-N-Go, from the local turf war lobby (Specifically Sub Berry Blaster Blitz, and Citrus Hip-Hopper)
In real life terms, this is a squid pasta made with bechamel sauce (dyed with food colouring), one topped with extra squid rings. with two iced teas on the side
It all needed more salt
A lot more salt

So I read @aughtpunk 's cotl forgiveness au in like 2 days and now I'm hyperfocusing on it. I just keep thinking of cute little things. Particularly between Shaun and kallamar. Aughtpunk probably shouldn't read this.
Like they have regular are-we-still-engaged chess matches. The first time kallamar wins, they regretfully tell the others the engagement is off. Most everyone is like, you were engaged?? How?? Since when?????? The next day they're engaged again. It great and not at all confusing. Pretty soon no one is sure if the engagement is even real or not. Don't ask kallamar, he's not 100% sure either. Like they play games to see who's responsible for the flowers or menu decisions but is it real? Half the group is sure it isn't until it's the night before the wedding and Holy shit this is actually happening wtf and Shaun is just so disappointed in them. Kallamar is too, right my love? Kallamar is like, yeah, I can't believe they doubted the seriousness of this situation. Internally he's screaming. Shaun also didn't think it was that serious but over time he got sick of people shit talking kallamar to his face so he was like, now I gotta marry him in the biggest most amazing wedding ever. I just gotta.
I also just like the idea that they would use games to settle most disagreements. They watch eachothers strategies and moods to figure out how serious they need to be. If it's a lighthearted thing then they joke the whole time and whoever wins, wins. Gg. If it's something more important to one than the other then they give a good game but let that person win since clearly this is a significant matter. If it's an important matter to both, they use the game as something of a distraction. I can't kill you for not understanding exactly where I'm coming from by magically reading my mind if I'm too busy trying to figure out if the move you just made is even legal. By the end of the match, whomever wins, it comes out as more of a compromise.
They do have this problem where if they don't have a clear goal for a game, it can escalate into terrible ends. Like Shaun makes a flirty double entendre about calamari, kallamar says something gross about cannibalism, suddenly its 3 am, they're in the kitchen with heket who is waaaay too happy about cooking some of her brother's flesh with the intention of giving it to his ex-fiancee to eat (shaun being grossed out by cannibalism made him lose), and questioning all of their life choices.
Oh and after wedding thought. Shaun asks narinder for a life flower (that what I've been calling them in my head). Narinder is grossed out but Shaun gives this whole speech about how they aren't gonna use it now, he just wants to show kallamar that he did notice that he wasnt sure how serious he was about the wedding but he is very serious about wanting to have this life together with him and growing their family together. Narinder does reluctantly give him a flower. Little while later kallamar asks for the same thing. His explanation is a little more based in logic. They've talked about children before and he's probably gonna be the one carrying them so it just makes sense for him to have the flower. Everyone is like aww they're gonna present these flowers to eachother and it's gonna be cute or something. Meanwhile kallamar is confirming that he and his husband aren't needed for anything else tonight and maybe the flower might work if brewed into a tea but eh it's better to not chance it and just. Fucking. Eats it. Right there. Infront of God (poor jake) and everybody. Did his husband see that? No, of course not. That would prevent any miscommunication drama. It's like, dude, did you guys plan on that or...? And kallamar is like, we've had some of the most important discussions about this already, I fail to see why we can't start trying now. And then he leaves to go spend his wedding with Shaun in private and now the whole family has no idea what to do with themselves. They did not need this information.
I also have thoughts for their kids. First set is twins. They are cute. They look like normal lambs just tinted blue. At first. They actually have tendrils they hide amongst their wool. They're also good at team hunting. If you see the both of them, it's safe. If you only see one, it's a distraction, turn around, you are being ambushed.
These are just fun little thoughts I had. Feel free to ignore me.

For the writing prompts
obikin and 18 or 22 or 45, whichever you like more! 😊
Hi Anon!
SEND ME A SHIP AND A NUMBER AND I'LL WRITE A SHORT FIC
18. waking up with amnesia au
this is a direct continuation from this Sith AU, as in, this picks up a couple of weeks later. I strongly recommend reading the linked snippet first, and in general all the little snippets I wrote for this AU before reading this one.
That being said, let's go
The light bothered him enough that Obi-Wan opened his eyes with a frown. He was on a bed, a thin white sheet covering his body. Everything hurt and he groaned as the world slowly shifted into focus, his surroundings filled with bacta tanks and medical beds. A machine beeped close to him on regular intervals, and there was a line connecting his right arm to a serum bag.
A body shifted, a young Mon Calamari with a holopad who took in the sign of Obi-Wan being awake and checked his vitals before greeting him gently.
“Where am I?” Obi-Wan asked, barely repressing the urge to snap the line out of his arm. The Mon Calamari muttered as he typed on his pad. “The patient shows signs of disorientation corresponding with a long period of unconsciousness. Keep under observation in case the symptom persists.”
Finally, he looked up towards Obi-Wan. “You are at the medic bay in the Jedi temple. My master will join us shortly and make sure everything is going well with your recovery.” “Jedi temple? What happened to me?” “You got stabbed by a piece of debris that punctured part of your lung and stomach. Lost quite the amount of blood and oxygen levels turned worrisome low. Would have died if they hadn’t brought you here.”
Just as he finished speaking, a Togruta entered the room and smiled at the Mon Calamari before turning to Obi-Wan. “Now this is a sight I thought I’d never see again. How is our patient doing?” “So far his recovery is going according to plan, Master.” “Excellent, the Council will appreciate this information. Has he shown signs of aggression?" “Not so far, mostly confusion.”
Irritation filled him. It wasn’t enough that he had woken up in an unfamiliar place, being talked about as if he wasn’t there was pissing him off. The Togruta turned towards him and leaned forwards, turning on a small lantern and cheeking his eyes. “Your reflexes seem to be doing great. I’m gonna ask you some questions to help you ease back into the living world. You almost became one with the Force!”
Obi-Wan grunted as an answer. “Alright. First things first: do you know who you are?” “I’m Obi-Wan Kenobi-” “Haven’t heard that name for years,” interrupted the healer, only confusing him more. “Other names you identify yourself with?” “No.” The questions continued, getting more annoying and more confusing as well.
No, Obi-Wan did not know who the main general of the Separatists was. No, he did not know Count Dooku personally. No, he had never met the Jedi Council before. He did not know who Qui-Gon Jinn was. And most importantly, he did not understand why he had ended in the Jedi med bay to be treated after his injury. The Mon Calamari took notes of everything he answered and exchanged a quiet look with his master once the questions were over. “I will notify the Council immediately.” The Togruta master said. “In the meantime, make sure our patient doesn’t get too overwhelmed with outside stimulus until we can figure out how to fix his memory loss.”
The Mon Calamari nodded and then hesitated. “Uh, what should I do if Knight Skywalker visits?” The name tickled something in the back of Obi-Wan’s brain, like an unanswered question that escaped him. “You let him in, of course, and take notes of everything they talk about.” A couple of hours later, as a healer brought him lunch and a holopad with a novel to keep him entertained, the doors opened and someone walked in.
At the healer’s sigh, Obi-Wan looked up from the holopad to see the most gorgeous man he had ever seen. The man looked up from where he was glaring at the floor and his expression eased, making Obi-Wan’s heart jump, the machine he was connected to betraying the effects the man was having on him. He ignored as the Mon Calamari frantically tried to understand what was happening as the man finally reached the bed and sat down near him. “Hi,” he began softly. “It’s nice seeing you awake.” Obi-Wan did not exactly know who this man was or why he was glad he was awake but he didn’t particularly care, happy to have his lovely eyes fixed on him.
He did not appreciate the Mon Calamari approaching the man and leaning down to whisper something to him, and he actually frowned when the man’s face went from curiosity to confusion to… grief? He wasn’t quite sure and forgot to ask the moment the man took his hand between his. “Hi, Obi-Wan, you may not remember me right now but I’m Anakin.” He looked at him with earnest eyes, and the name made something inside Obi-Wan warm with familiarity. Even then, the name did not spark any memory, and he simply smiled politely to Anakin. Something inside him, though, screamed at him that Anakin was important, that he needed to make a good impression. So, he sent him a smouldering look and said: “Hello there.”
He did not expect Anakin to burst into laughter, startling the Mon Calamari. But his confusion over the reaction didn’t stop Obi-Wan’s heartbeat from accelerating again.
Thank you for sending me this! I hope you enjoyed it!

always curious what people's like. staple meals and regular meals are
like the meals you regularly cook a few times in a month, for yourself or your family as well
bc for me it's like
bacon sandwiches. basic.
garlic bread
baked feta with peppers & tomatoes, oregano, olive oil, a bit of lemon juice
the lidl potato gratin with peppers, tomatoes, and spinach mixed in, again normally with olive oil and some cheese
roast chicken with roasted potatoes and root vegetables, normally carrots and parsnips
pork souvlakia, chunks of usually belly pork or chop on kebab sticks and oven grilled with or without chunks of pepper and tomato
dolmades, vine leaves stuffed with stewed rice
chicken risotto made with chicken stock on a base of butter with spring onions and bacon to toast the rice with
pasta with chicken pieces with a tomato-based sauce w more cheese and vegetables
a "greek salad" with some modifications - chunks of cucumber, tomato, red and yellow pepper, spinach leaves, red onion or spring onions, garlic granules, and then olive oil and feta chunks
parchment pastry scrolls, a spread of pastry smeared with tomato purée or similar chutney, cheese, bacon, vegetables, or mushrooms, and then cut into discs and baked
homemade burgers with beef or lamb mince, tiny chopped onions, egg, honey as a binding agent, and then fried hopefully to eat with slices of cheddar or leerdammer, bacon, and pickles/cornichons
i made a kouneli stifado a while back (whole rabbit cut into chunks, slow cooked with potatoes and root vegetables, onions, red wine, stock, etc) that i want to do more regularly bc a whole rabbit is a fiver and it feeds a LOT of people
then obvs like. various oven cooked things i don't modify, like prawn tempura or frozen calamari, etc
because i've moved and haven't set up my rice cooker or got my short grain rice again, and bc i don't have a new deep fat fryer yet, i'm not cooking like, my fresh cut chips, or maki rolls and onigiri, or a meal i'd regularly do of just like. fried eggs on rice and stuff
i used to make lasagnes more regularly and i'd like to go back to that, esp bc like... i love making latkes and once we have a nice wide frying pan it will be nice to do that more regularly, and my big thing atm is that i want to learn to cook with some new ingredients
i want to learn to do more and more interesting stuff with coconut and pineapple, i want to do more like. kormas and other diff curries, i want more green vegetables, esp asparagus and broccoli
i want to cook more with different fish and sea food bc i know i desperately need the oil for my fucked up joints and brain, i want to break more breads and savoury things, esp garlic and tearaway breads
esp bc like. my body's capacity for red meat is fucking terrible lmao, i want more fibre and less heavy protein from red meat at once so i don't just utterly eviscerate my guts lmao

Tech as a father Chapter 43
Again me with my weird upload rhythm. Who else is anxious or the last 3 episodes? So many questions and not enough time.
Masterlist
Chapter 43: Projection
Tech rushed toward the chaotic scene, his heart pounding as he took in the unsettling sight. Wrecker was struggling to restrain Amanda, who was livid and shouting at one of the regular troopers. Her voice echoed with anger, her blue eyes blazing with fury. Tech could see the signs of her recent use of the Force, the faint wisps of energy still surrounding her hands.
His eyes darted to Alma, who was injured and being tended to by Echo. The young Padawan had a gash on her head, blood matted in her pink Mon Calamari skin. Tech could feel his pulse quicken as he assessed the situation. This was not what they had signed up for when they agreed to help rebuild the temple. Amanda's voice was loud and accusatory. "She's a Padawan! She's still learning!" she shouted at the trooper, her frustration palpable. She was fiercely protective of her young apprentice, and Tech and everyone else had witnessed their bond first hand.
Tech stepped forward, trying to diffuse the tension. "Ama- Master Pacem, what happened?" he asked, his voice calm and steady. He knew that Amanda valued his logical thinking, and in this heated moment, he hoped to bridge the gap between her anger and the trooper's misunderstanding. Amanda turned her gaze toward Tech, and for a moment, her anger softened as she met his eyes. "Tech, they need to secure the area properly," she explained, her voice still tense. "Alma's injury could have been much worse. I had to use my abilities to stabilize her." Tech nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation. "I'll take care of it," he assured her. "We'll ensure this doesn't happen again." With that, he turned toward the trooper who had caused the incident and began discussing the importance of safety measures and proper communication. In the midst of the chaos, Tech couldn't help but feel a surge of protectiveness toward Amanda, Alma, and the rest of the team. They were facing unexpected challenges, but as always, he was determined to use his intelligence and skills to keep them safe.
Tech watched as Amanda demanded Wrecker release her, and the big clone hesitated for a moment before reluctantly letting her go. Amanda's first instinct was to reach Alma, who was injured and vulnerable. She cradled the young Padawan in her arms, her hands already glowing with the tell-tale signs of her Force healing. As Amanda walked away with Alma, Tech couldn't help but feel a mix of emotions. He understood that Amanda was fiercely protective of Alma, just as she was of Orion. In this moment, he realized that she might have projected some of the maternal instincts she had developed for Orion onto the young Padawan. It was a complex situation, with emotions running high, and Tech couldn't fault her for it. Tech turned his attention back to the trooper, making sure the incident was properly addressed. He emphasized the importance of safety protocols and ensured that everyone understood their role in preventing such accidents in the future. While he couldn't be with Amanda and Alma at this moment, he knew they would be okay. Amanda's skills as a healer were exceptional, and she would do everything in her power to help Alma recover.
Deep down, Tech couldn't shake the worry that their secret was becoming increasingly fragile. With Amanda's protective instincts on full display, he understood that they needed to be even more cautious. As he continued to handle the situation with the trooper, he couldn't help but glance in the direction Amanda had gone, silently hoping that Alma would recover quickly. His fingers moving over the small part of Orion’s back which is accessible.
The regular trooper's comment about Alma's ability to sense danger stung, and Amanda's emotional reaction had clearly unsettled him. He questioned aloud, "Even a Padawan should have sensed it." Hunter, always the voice of reason, stepped in, defending Alma and trying to ease the escalating tension. "Alma is young and still learning," he pointed out calmly. "And you can't deny that situations like this can take a toll on anyone, especially a young kid. Having to fight in a war is no easy toll." However, the regular trooper seemed undeterred by Hunter's attempt to defuse the situation. He responded with a pointed remark, "I've heard rumours about Master Pacem's unusual approach to following orders, but seeing a Jedi lash out like that... Maybe it's something that needs to be addressed by the Council. We can't afford to have Jedi falling to the dark side."
Tech felt his blood run cold at the trooper's words. He knew that their unique situation had drawn attention, but he never anticipated it could lead to such dire accusations. The thought of the Jedi Council becoming involved in their affairs sent shivers down his spine. Hunter remained composed, though his expression grew more serious. "We all know that emotions can run high in situations like this. Let's not jump to conclusions. We have a mission to complete, and everyone's safety is paramount. We'll investigate the incident thoroughly and report it accordingly." Tech knew that Hunter was doing his best to handle the situation diplomatically, but the tension in the air lingered. As they continued to address the matter, Tech couldn't help but worry about the potential consequences this incident might have for their already precarious situation on Callo.
Hunter's decision to send Tech and Crosshair to check on Amanda and Alma provided a welcome opportunity for Tech to step away from the escalating tension. As they made their way towards where Amanda and Alma had gone, Tech couldn't help but glance down at Orion, who was now wide-eyed and clearly sensing the unease in the air. Crosshair, always one to voice his displeasure, grumbled about the regular troopers. "Stupid regs. Can't even handle a bit of stress without accusing Jedi of falling to the dark side." And he flicks his toothpick to the ground. Tech nodded in agreement, though he remained preoccupied with their current situation. He couldn't shake the concern for Amanda and Alma and wondered how they were faring amidst the commotion. He also hoped that Orion wouldn't be too affected by the recent outburst. Tech knew that even at his young age, children could pick up on tension and anxiety in their surroundings.
As they approached the area where Amanda had taken Alma, Tech couldn't help but hope that things were settling down and that Amanda had been able to use her healing abilities to tend to Alma's injuries. But the unease of the incident still hung in the air, making Tech's steps heavy with worry. Tech and Crosshair arrived just in time to witness Amanda in the process of cleaning and tending to Alma's once injured wound. Alma lays on Amanda's bed, still unconscious but now in a much better state. Amanda, her hands aglow with the healing Force, was fully focused on her Padawan's well-being.
Amanda's apology caught Tech slightly off guard. She didn't even look up as she spoke, her attention solely on Alma. "I apologize for my strong reaction," she said, her voice filled with a mixture of concern and guilt. Tech stepped closer, his worry for both Amanda and Alma evident in his eyes. "Amanda, you don't need to apologize," he assured her gently. "You were right to be upset. It's understandable given the circumstances." Crosshair, standing nearby, simply nodded in agreement. They both understood the pressure that came with being a Jedi, especially in these trying times. Tech knew that sometimes emotions ran high, and Amanda's reaction had been a natural response to protect her Padawan.
Amanda continued her work, her hands now moving with more precision as Alma's injuries steadily improved. Her focus remained on her Padawan, but Tech could sense a weight had been lifted from her shoulders now that Alma was safe and healing. After tending to Alma's injuries and making sure she was as comfortable as possible, Amanda carefully draped her own cloak over the unconscious Padawan, providing her with a bit of warmth. She then rose to her feet and turned to Tech and Crosshair, her expression softer now. Again with her usual warmth and kindness.
Taking a few deep breaths, Amanda admitted, "I just don't like seeing others injured. It's hard for me, especially when it's someone I care about." She glanced back at Alma, her concern still evident in her eyes. "But I know it is part of our duty as Jedi, to protect and heal when we can." Tech nodded in understanding, his respect for Amanda's dedication to her role as a healer and protector growing with each passing moment. "You're doing a great job, Amanda," he reassured her. "Alma is lucky to have you as her mentor."
Crosshair, typically a man of few words, simply nodded in agreement. He understood the emotional toll that being a Jedi could take, even on someone as strong as Amanda. Amanda offered a faint smile, appreciating their support. "Thank you, both. Let's give Alma some time to rest. She'll recover more quickly if she gets some sleep." She then walked over to Orion, checking on him briefly to make sure he was comfortable. Tech and Crosshair exchanged a glance, silently acknowledging the unique challenges that came with their situation. They were a family, bound by something stronger than the ordinary bonds of brotherhood, and they would always be there to support one another.
Amanda, determined to address the situation with the trooper who had provoked her earlier, made her way back to the area where the commotion had occurred. She could sense the trooper's presence not far away. As she approached, she noticed the trooper was still there, talking with Hunter. Crosshair, who walks behind her with Tech and Orion, watched Amanda's stride with a mixture of concern and frustration. He couldn't understand why she felt the need to apologize to the trooper when he believed the trooper was clearly in the wrong.
Once Amanda reached the trooper and Hunter, she cleared her throat to get their attention. "Excuse me," she began calmly, "I wanted to apologize for my reaction earlier. It was unbecoming of a Jedi, and I should have handled the situation better." The trooper looked somewhat surprised by Amanda's apology but nodded in acknowledgment. "Thank you, Master Jedi. I appreciate your understanding." Hunter, sensing the tension, decided to intervene. "Let's put this behind us," he suggested, looking at both Amanda and the trooper. "We have work to do, and we're here to help with the temple's reconstruction." Amanda agreed with a nod, relieved to have cleared the air. She knew that maintaining a sense of unity and cooperation was essential, especially during this somewhat unusual mission on Callo.

Reblogs are very welcome and I am open for feedback, as english is not my first language, so maybe my sentences may be weird sometimes, or I write a word wrong even with google, or I use a wrong word for an item.

Oh the last episode made me somehow angry? Like more questions than answeres? How adorable Crosshair's vulnerable side is? Characters I despise and want to punch?
And best of all my younger brother who said: "Who? Oh Rampart, totally forgot he existed." Made me burst out laughing so hard we had to rewind a bit.

Does anyone want almost 1k words of unedited, unfinished dod!cryptid and quackity being their toxic dynamic?
No?
Too bad
Warnings include: Mentioned child abuse, and implied underage drinking, also Q being a condescending dick
Also just going to say it here: Dreaming of death is an au of the fic Penpal by @calamari-minecraft-corner
Anyway enjoy :)
It was routine these days. And throwing an ender pearl through Quackity’s window no longer felt scary. They would prefer to just walk through the building like a normal person, especially given that they were a regular face in Las Nevadas now. But Q refused to give them a key. Like the dickhead he was.
This time they almost didn't make it and had to haul themselves up a little.
“Having fun?” The wingless man asked, doing absolutely nothing to help pull them up from where they were hanging 4 stories up.
“What do think assh-” they were cut off as they fell to Quackity’s floor with a thud. Quackity chuckled. And they pushed themselves up enough to glare at his smug ass face mixing a drink like 6 feet from them. “You couldn't have helped?”
“I never asked you to come bother me every other night.” They scoff at that. Before standing up fully and leaning on the counter next to him.
“Surreeee. Like you don't need my visits way more than I do.” It was Quackity’s turn to scoff now.
“Then why do you keep coming?”
“I get alcohol and piss off my- Dream and Punz.” They correct themself but Q has this annoying habit of always pointing out stupid shit like that.
“Awfully possessive of people you hate.” It wasn't teasing. It never felt teasing. It was just.. judgy.
“I’m not fuckin’- I’m not calling them mine. I- I was going to call them.. something else ok?” Quackity scoffed at their defense, pouring a peachy liquid from that alcohol shaker thing into two cocktail glasses. And responding without even looking up at them.
“Then what were you going to call them? Your friends? Your brothers? Your family? God. I can't believe Dream still has you on that family bullshit.” He pushes one of the cocktail glasses over to them uttering a quick “Here drink.” Before going back on his rant. They sipped the drink with a roll of their eyes. They knew by now it wasn't ever poison. And they would interrupt, but that usually just prolonged these rant sessions. “When are you going to get it through your head that he doesn't care about you. I don't know why you even still live with those assholes.” Quackity ended in a grumble, before finally shutting up to take a sip of his drink.
“Free living.”
“Already offered that to you in Las Nevadas.”
“Have you maybe considered that I actually like the people I live with beyond my abusers?” It still felt so wrong to refer to them like that. But what they did was abuse. And Quackity was always a bit more.. workable with when they acknowledged that fact.
Of course it didn't help much. He still scoffed at their words. He almost always did. Unless they were agreeing with him. Just another one of the things that made them hate him.
“They're bad people too! If you weren't an oblivious child,” they almost snarled at that, but kept it back. “Then I would be condemning right along with everyone living there. I mean Phil’s a terrorist, Wren fucking supports Dream still, even after his abuse of you, Wilbur’s a manipulative two faced prick, Schlatt is an abusive power hungry alcoholic bastard,” that one was spit with particular venom. “and don't even get me started on Techno. Just because they're “nice” to you doesn't mean they're good pe-”
“You tortured a guy for months. How the fuck is that good? How can you call yourself a good person?” The words slip out through gritted teeth no matter how hard they try to force them down. Quackity falls silent for a few blissful seconds as he glares at them.
“I had reasons.” He too was speaking through gritted teeth. The words made them scoff.
“Selfish ones.” They mutter, looking down at their feet. The second they hear Quackity put his glass down they know they’re getting an earful. Him sighing heavily only increases the dread in their gut.
“He's a monster. And his actions towards you prove it even more. I don't get how you someone who has literally experienced his cruelty can't see how fucked up he is.” Quackity’s tone is scolding. It always is. Just like Sam’s, just like Punz’s, just like Dream’s. They hate acknowledging the pattern.
“Q. You’ve given me the speech before. I know your feelings on the matter.” Their voice is as level as they can manage, which is to say, mildly annoyed. They can practically feel how he prickles despite not being touching or looking at him.
“Clearly you don't understand me though.. or reason.” He mutters bitterly as he raises his glass to his lips again. They force themself to not snap at the jab.
In fact, they force themself to stay silent for once. And instead let the taste of sweet alcohol almost calm them. Almost.
Eventually Quackity sighs, and they glance over at him. His gaze has softened. At least a bit. And his eyes trace the plains of their face.
“I shouldn't be blaming you for being without reason. You're a kid who's been living with literal psychopaths.” Their fingers twitched with the urge to correct him. Or maybe punch him in the face.
They knew he willed himself to not strangle them because they were a “kid”. And they knew that if they were an adult, he would hate their guts, and probably have killed them. They hate that their age is the reason he doesn't.
“But it's a bit hard not to when you just. Won’t acknowledge what is so obviously in front of you.” He added with a chuckle that was clearly just to mask the hatred behind the words.

Side side characters (pt2)
Savanaclaw
Name: Indra Soto
Age: 19
Species: Coyote beastman
Height: 164 cm
Second year at Night Raven College
Unique Magic: “Looking in a Mirror”
Catchphrase: “If you don’t fight for yourself, who will?”
Magic type: Wind
“heyyy bartender, heard you’re doin’ a new thing…”happy hour”?” indra slid up to the polished counter, sitting on the barstool with a sly smirk.
the bartender could only sigh, looking irritated just at indra’s presence. he took out a menu, giving it to him and pointing at a specific line. “happy hour from 5 to 6, 50%* off drinks only! *does not include a-drinks and tops off at five drinks, does not include food items”.
“have a drink in mind?” he asked, mixing up a drink for a different student while waiting for indra’s answer.
indra picked up the menu, scanning over the drinks half-heartedly, “yeah, i’ll take the double cheeseburger with a side ‘a calamari. oh, and some ‘a those fish sticks too. 50% off, eh?”
he completely stopped, just side glancing him before serving a different customer, pretending he hadn’t heard indra.
“hello? i asked for a triple burger cut the lettuce with fish and chips? what kinda service is this?” indra tried louder, trying his best to keep the grin off his face. he waved the menu towards the bartender, who’s ear twitched in irritation.
“sorry, the fifty percent off is for drinks only. i can get you that, but it’ll be the regular price.” his voice was laced with annoyance, to which indra scoffed.
“c’mon, how expensive can three small fries be? just cut me that half and i’ll strike ya a deal, how about it?” indra tried again, throwing his menu down and leaning in.
that caught the bartenders attention, who leaned down on the counter as well, “a deal? and what could you possibly offer me?”
“well, i think it would do you well if i got you a little, somethin’, ya know?” indra didn’t exactly have a deal prepared, so he tried to be as mysterious as possible.
the bartender sighed, rolling his eyes as he stood straight, “order or get out, i’m not dealing with this teasing on a school night.”
“what?! c’mon! it’s not like these little guppies got something better to do, why not serve a long-time customer, eh? have i ever done you wrong?” indra egged on, tail wagging behind him.
“do not insult my customers. you were one of those “guppies” just a year ago. did i ever demean you? i did not.” the bartender seems very aggravated, starting to move away from him in favor of his other customers.
“look, i’m not here for trouble. just warnin’ ya, if the big fishes ever catch ear of your big kid drinks thatcha serve, you ain’t coming out of that without losing your fur.” indra raised his hands in a placating gesture, and part defeat. but apparently his words caused the bartender to whip around, growling.
“my business is mine and everything i do is approved of by not only Ashengrotto but the headmage as well. your little “warning” is nothing but disrespectful to me as a company owner, bartender, student and your peer. get. out.”
“w-woah woah woah! keep your teeth checked, i’m not here for trouble! i, aha, i-i’m not trying to insult you or anything, just being concerned for a fellow student. who knows, maybe that ashengrotto kid pulled the wool over your eyes–”
“out!” with that, he leaped from his seat, tail instinctively pressing close to his legs as he ran out.
‘well, now he’s done it. all’s well that ends well?’
indra couldn’t exactly say it ended well yet though. he barely made it out, and now he has to think of the consequences.
“do a little prank and get punished like a criminal…” he muttered to himself, going back to his dorm.
he really just wanted to prank the bartender, he’s always so uptight. thought some teasing would loosen him up. maybe get him a free drink, but hey, most of his intentions were good!
he climbs up the first tree he sees, sprawling out. he was never usually one for tree climbing, but it was always a safe bet from the other rowdy students. he basked in the eternal sun (seriously, what kind of pocket world were they in that the weather basically never changed?), feeling embraced by the prickly branches and slightly itchy leaves, and took a short snooze.
he was awoken by a dorm member, one of the few tolerable ones, who insisted if he were to sleep it would be in a bed, something about how he’d wake up with terrible back pain. eugh, back pain, he was already starting to feel it.
“gotcha, i’ll get down..what time is it anyway?” he asked, rubbing his eyes. he sat up slightly, wincing from the bark tugging on his tail fur.
“it can’t be later than 10:30, but that’s just assumption,” they said, watching him jump down. they sighed, “i have to be going now. good night.”
indra waved as they left, leaning against the tree. welp, time for bed.
wait. 10:30? on a school night? that’s exactly when the bartender closes. and indra pissed him off, so it’s no stretch to say he’ll come looking for him.
he’s not getting dragged into a gamble tonight, not on a wednesday!
but there’s not many places he can hide, not with how savanaclaw will rat him out for 20 marks. they’re loyal, sure, but loyal enough to help a coyote when against the bartender? not at all.
that only leaves one option. it’s a bit dirty, and might get him in way more trouble later…
all’s well that ends well. maybe that should be his catchphrase.
alright, deep breaths. who would work? housewarden? no, he would never be out at night. actually, there’s only one person he knows who’d be out at night.
he smiles, taking out his magic pen. it’s yellow hue, reflecting back indra’s features. a little harsh, lots of fluff, sharp tongue.
that’s not what he wants to look like. what he needs to look like.
it needs to be softer, keep the fluff, same tongue, much taller. it needs to be who he’s not.
the magic warps its features, erasing the old and drawing in the new. every wave of its pen is a new disguise, a new mask to wear.
“it’s like looking in a mirror,” it whispers, as it leans against the tree.
it’s ear twitches as it hears someone come through the mirror. its new prey.
“einari, have you seen indra?” the bartender asks it, him. he shakes his head, a slight roll of his eyes.
“as if i know where that coyote’s at. i would suggest looking in the washrooms, behind the mirrors. it’s where he usually hides,” his voice is heavy with exhaustion and sass, perfect for who he is [portraying].
the bartender, lynx, as he calls him personally, just nods, heading to the entrance before pausing, “do i have permission to enter?”
“you really think someone would object?” he raises a brow, slight amused.
“right. i’ll be back. you should get some rest.”
“appreciated, but no thanks,” lynx nods in understanding, entering the dorm and heading for the washrooms.
he waits a moment, for lynx to fully leave, before he relaxes, sighing in relief. it’s over, good. it didn’t know how long it could pretend to be einari, he’s surprisingly hard to portray.
it doesn’t change form just yet, using it’s slight height increase to climb into its room on the second floor. it pulls the curtains closed, looking at its sleeping roomate, and heading to the mirror.
ew, he hates looking like a priss. not to say einari’s a priss! it’s just, really? a fur coat? how much more conceited can you get? he rolls his eyes, releasing his magic (slowly, going fast is jarring and gives him a migraine). his eyes sharpen, gold returning to his irises, his height receding. clothes back to normal, ears tall, and…he’s back.
indra grins, flexing before realizing how cringe that is and how he feels like a miniature vargas, and gets ready for bed, safe from aquatic roulette.

There is another young actor playing Ahsoka (MSW). Very questioable sources (Nerdgasm) said she's played by Savannah Steyn.
Hayden Christensen (THR).
Darth Vader team (MSW, Bespin Bulletin), voiced by James Earl Jones AI. Fully suited Darth Vader will exclusively be played by Tom O’Connel. Tom O’Connel is being fitted for a new Darth Vader suit (different than the one used for Obi-Wan Kenobi last year). MSW
Ezra played by Eman Esfandi (Jordan Maison, THR). There were false reports of him being Mena Massoud.
"Riz" codename (The Illuminerdi) - a man in his 20s, described as a bit of a lone wolf, world-wise despite his young age and able to handle anything life throws his way. This character is listed as a series regular with options. [Most likely Ezra]
Sabine played by Natasha Liu Bordizzo (Deadline). There were false reports about frontrunners.
Hera (MSW), Mary Elizabeth Winstead (THR), Hera played by MEW (Bespin Bulletin)
Ivanna Sakhno (Deadline) plays Shin. According to The Illuminerdi, the character is codenamed “Astrid”, and is described as striking and ferocious. A formidable mercenary who must now decide between two paths. Astrid can either follow the path of her unit or take hold of her own aspiration in service of her own glory.
Ray Stevenson plays Baylan, previously thought as "Admiral" (THR). Loyal to Thrawn. He has a droid and an assassin by his side. Has a lot of screentime. (MSW)
Thrawn played by Lars Mikkelsen (guesses, KRT, Christopher Marc, MSW). There were contradicting reports by Jordan Maison.
Commander Rex (Christopher Marc) played by Temuera Morrison (BSL)

Databank entries & officially released photos
Marrok (Inquisitor): Once an Inquisitor hunting Jedi for the Empire, the mysterious Marrok now works as a mercenary hired by Morgan Elsbeth to carry out dark deeds. Fully encased in battered battle armor, the warrior still carries a red double-bladed saber with a circular hilt.
Shin Hati: The eager apprentice of Baylan Skoll, Shin Hati is adept at lightsaber combat, a skill she uses in their work as mercenaries allied to Morgan Elsbeth, the former Magistrate of Calodan.
[Note: The Illuminerdi said Ivanna plays "Astrid" - "A formidable mercenary who must now decide between two paths. Astrid can either follow the path of her unit or take hold of her own aspiration in service of her own glory". This implies Shin will have to decide between following Baylan or betraying him].
Baylan Skoll: Baylan Skoll is lightsaber-wielding mercenary for hire overseeing his apprentice Shin Hati. But make no mistake: although there was a time when Skoll knew the acclaimed Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker, Baylan is no Jedi. Now allied to Morgan Elsbeth, the former Magistrate of Calodan, after the fall of the Jedi and the Empire, Skoll remains a shrewd fighter in search of power who believes that another war is inevitable.
Magistrate Morgan Elsbeth: The coldhearted former Magistrate of Calodan, Morgan Elsbeth is an ally of Grand Admiral Thrawn and an enemy of the New Republic. A formidable fighter with a mysterious past, Elsbeth once hunted Ahsoka Tano on the world of Corvus before she was bested in battle and arrested for acting as an Imperial sympathizer.
Officially released 10 photos and their source episode - link. Sabine has short hair in episode 2.
Officially released concept art
Plot
Structure (MSW)
Ahsoka will have a midseason time-jump. The Rebels epilogue takes place in the middle of the season, and the season is like 2 different parts (four episodes each).
The first part of Ahsoka has New Republic centric-content which will feature Mothma. The first half of Ahsoka is a story about a failing New Republic, Ahsoka's warnings are ignored, and about Sabine.
The second part is finding Ezra and Thrawn. (MSW)
The "New Beyond" & Skeleton Crew
The Ahsoka show is gonna introduce concepts that are gonna be explored in Skeleton Crew. (MSW)
After Rebels, Thrawn and Ezra end up in a completely new and unexplored area of the universe, of which he calls ''The New Beyond” or “New Space'' until an official name is revealed. This region views and uses the Force differently, and magic users in the Star Wars universe we have seen before (like the nightsisters), originate from this place, and we have seen outcasts from there in past SW stories. (MSW)
Both Ivanna Sakhno and Diana Lee Inosanto's (Morgan Elsbeth) characters have a connection to this place. (MSW)
Skeleton Crew kids end up in this unexplored part of space too. (MSW)
World Between Worlds, Vader battle & different Ahsokas
The World Between Worlds is in Ahsoka too. (MSW)
We will get glimpses of Tano in other times and eras via The World Between Worlds. There is a version of Ahsoka in her late teens, one for another undisclosed time (might be present day Ahsoka in terms of the narrative itself), and finally for the version we saw in the final moment of Rebels in her white robes. (MSW)
Ahsoka will fight “Darth Vader” (Vader being dark side Anakin, not necessarily in the Vader suit) in more than one way and Hayden Christensen required some training for a sequence in the series because we will see his face again on screen, wearing the same costume he wore on Mustafar in Revenge of the Sith. (MSW)
We will see many possible outcomes for Ahsoka’s life and how in essence, no matter what, they all lead to a particular moment in her story. If Ahsoka had returned to the Jedi Order, she would be the one fighting Darth Vader on Mustafar having the high ground, not Obi-Wan Kenobi, because what happened had to happen, to get Tano to where she and the Skywalkers needed to be. Hayden Christensen filmed fight scenes with Clone Wars Ahsoka in this scenario. (MSW)
Through the World Between Worlds, it seems present day Ahsoka will learn that Anakin Skywalker was destined to take the path he did and we the audience will see aspects of those outcomes and in some of them we see live action Clone Wars era Ahsoka Tano played by a new actor in a duel with her former Jedi Master, taking the place of Obi-Wan Kenobi in this reality that never was. To be clear, these are glimpses or small sequences and Dawson will play Ahsoka during the majority of the story. (MSW)
Ahsoka will also see other visions in these sequences. Had Ahsoka killed Thrawn and Ezra Bridger did not need to use the Purrgil, Ahsoka’s destiny remained the same. The lesson for Tano appears to be that she cannot change her destiny and instead she must embrace it. (MSW)
There was an Obi-Wan corpse made. (MSW)
Ezra & Sabine
Ezra and Sabine have action scenes together (MSW).
MSW heard about a sequence in Ahsoka where Ezra uses the Force in a way compared to Luke Skywalker shattering the Beehive Hut on Ahch-To when he catches Rey talking with Kylo. However, the difference is one source saying and others confirming Ezra “hadoukens” with the Force. (MSW)
Sabine Wren uses Ezra's lightsaber. There are sequences with Sabine using the lightsaber with Ezra Bridger. It is not clear if Ezra gets another laser sword at some point or just finally takes his lightsaber back from her but she’s usually using it. (MSW)
Ezra developed his own martial arts based Force powers, not unlike Teras Kasi, but his own style. This martial arts style coupled with his connection to animals makes him an interesting take on a Force user on screen as he uses his hands, feet, the Force and nature to beat up undead Stormtroopers. (MSW)
Most of the scenes: Ezra doing Force Karate while Sabine swings the lightsaber around (MSW)
This series has more lightsaber fighting than probably anything we have seen on Disney+ (MSW)
We will have sequences where Baylon, Shin, have red sabers, Morgan Elsbeth and the witches standing off against Ahsoka with her two white lightsabers, Sabine with the green saber, and Ezra doing Force karate. (MSW)
Sabine will duel Shin with her red rapier laser sword while Ashoka Tano will fight Baylon’s red claymore lightsaber. The duel happens concurrently while Ezra fights Stromtroopers with his force Karate in the Nodian Highlands.
Thrawn and his minions
Will have an army “resurrected by dark side shadow magicks.” (MSW)
Zabrak troopers in white and burgundy uniforms (Christopher Marc)
Thrawn’s command ship, Chimera, is in the series. (MSW)
A survivor of Order 66, a Jedi named Babylon, fled to this unknown region of the galaxy for safety. Sources think Babylon wanted to maintain the Jedi way but was corrupted over time, maybe from the influence of life with the Nightsisters. (MSW)
"Nightsister" Morgan Elsbeth has a plan that the New Republic cannot respond to. "Nightsister" Morgan Elsbeh is searching for Thrawn, like Sabine and Ahsoka for Ezra. (MSW)
Elsbeth was extracting resources from the planet to build a ship capable of bringing Grand Admiral Thrawn back to the core worlds (ship or TIE fighters - some project to bring back Thrawn)
Baylon and Shin are in the core worlds initially and allied with Elsbeth. They are in both parts of the series. Baylon is dedicated to the mission to extract Thrawn and bring him home.
Thrawn has a new bodyguard named Enoch - MSW says looks like a "golden Destro from G.I. Joe with Samurai influences". They also have a new cyborg/droid character named Carnast.
Ahsoka and Sabine follow the Nightsister and her allies to Thrawn
A large fight will take place in a location that could be called "The Nodian Highlands." (MSW)
Kintsugi (MSW)
*In Episode IX, Kylo Ren visits an ape named Albrekh who fixes his armor (also an old MSW scroop). The mask is repaired using “Sarrassian iron.” The red iron is used to weld the red cracks of his armor together giving it that red veiny aesthetic.
*Ahsoka will riff on this aesthetic. Most of the Stormtroopers have been destroyed, their armor obliterated, much like Kylo’s helmet. However, instead of the red veins running through the rebuilt armor, these troopers have what has been described as “golden cracks” or “yellow veins” running through their exterior.
*The visual used in Episode IX is based on Kintsugi, a Japanese art which translates to “golden joinery.” Broken valuables use gold or silver to mend and join the broken pieces of antique or art. The process sees the breaks as part of the history of the object.
*MSW doubts it's “Sarrassian” as these troopers were “reforged” by The Nightsisters. MSW says: "In The Clone Wars, the Nightsisters of Dathomir had a green magic, but these are different Nightsisters from a new place and perhaps their magic is golden instead of green to match the Kintsugi look?"
*These troopers will be on the hunt, serving Thrawn, under the command of Baylon, but led into battle by the red sabered user named Shin. They will be tracking the reunited Ezra, Sabine, and Ahsoka.
*When the trio is finally reunited, they will face off against this new take on the Imperial Stormtrooper.
*Visually it will be a new evil Force user (Shin), red saber ignited and an armor with a battalion of reforged Stormtroopers with golden veins through their armor. Ahsoka, Sabine, and Ezra fleeing from them before being forced to fight.
The ending (MSW)
Ahsoka is basically The Empire Strikes Back of the “Mando Era”. The good guys fail in the end.
Ahsoka and Sabine inherit a secondary mission to stop Grand Admiral Thrawn and his cronies from returning to the core of the galaxy.
Thrawn returns to the main galaxy at the climax of the 8th and final episode of the season, with his forces all laid out before him. Thrawn revels in the moment, promising a reckoning is coming and ready to take on a faltering New Republic and take back the galaxy.
Most likely, the allies who sprung him from the far reaches of space have been a part of a power play he has had cooking for years.
The general consensus from those working on the show is that Ahsoka will have multiple seasons.
The story/cliffhanger will likely pick up in the second season of the series.
Looking at the grand scheme of things and the information MSW has been given, it’s likely that this attack/war is what will really allow the first order to rise.
Misc
Temple Ruins set photos (Bespin Bulletin)
MSW said that a woman seemed to want to be let in to what in the photo. He thinks the woman might have been Ahsoka, but he's not sure.
Ahsoka with white cloak will ride a loth-wolf (horse) nicknamed DOOM (MSW)
Ahsoka episode 1 is 54 minutes and 21 seconds long (credits at 51:06). Episode 2 is 42 minutes and 15 seconds long (credits at 38:33) (Cryptic HD)
---
Rosario's favorite episode is 5, Natasha's 1, Ivanna's 6.

Tokyo Debunker OC lore dump!!
I made a Tokyo Debunker OC like all the other cool people in the fandom😼
I am no artist but I tried!!! it's hard to draw when you're a decaying zombie with rigor mortis :/
woo hoo time for a lore dump!!
Her name is Allister (just like me bc it's the best name ever!! defiantly not cus I'm bad with names!) and she's a member of Jabberwock (and by proxy, a ghoul)
Allister's stigma is kinda similar to Jin's? just a little. She can compel people to do things, but it doesn't work best on *people*. Her stigma works better on lower-intelligence creatures which is why she's so good with animals.
Also it's not apart of her being a ghoul, but shes immune to almost all poisons, venoms, and disease cus she's a special snowflake!! She often pesters Yuri to do research on this condition of hers so she has an excuse to hang around Mortkranken and see Jiro.
Allister is a transfer student from America. She moved to Japan after a certain incident... *foreshadows tragic backstory*...
Her special artifact is a butterfly knife that can shrink and grow. It's just barely sentient , so she can control it with her stigma. She often uses it like a boomerang. She also named her artifact "Billie"
Allister is incredibly researched in Cryptozoology and all matters relating to the undead. She's also pretty good with just regular zoology and biology, but she sucks ass in everything else.
She takes care of an anomalous octopus she claims was "gifted to her by The Mighty Cthulhu" (she found it while on a mission). Allister decided "this is my child now" and named the octopus "Kithy". Kithy isn't a baby kraken like Calamari, but he's relatively the same size. Kithy isn't dangerous at all, just very, VERY mischievous. Allister's stigma is why she's such a good candidate to be Kithy's caretaker and in Jabberwock in general. Though she doesn't really have to use her stigma on Kithy since he sees her as her mom anyways. She prefers to work with reptiles, but she loves all animals.
As you may have noticed, Alli is an emo kween 🖤🩸⛓️ She accessorizes to high hell (ignore that she doesn't have many in the artwork) and enjoys pushing the boundaries of the Darkwick dress code >:3
About that tragic backstory I teased a few paragraphs ago.... She left America because her vampire fianceé was murdered by her rival, Lucy. Lucy is this bitch that just likes to fuck with Allister cus she can. "haha I killed the women you were gonna have turn you into a vampire and marry". Typical Lucy shenanigans!!!
Allister, unlike me, is not a lazy decaying zombie, so she does her part to help around Jabberwock - mainly trying to pick up Ren's slack. I imagine the two of them have a sibling-rivarly-like relationship. Also their rooms are right next to each other so they like annoying the other with their music/movie volume.
Allister gets along with the other members of Jabberwock too - she gets along with most people. Except for the Sinostra members.... she despises them for being "the cool ones who get red in their uniform". She also doesn't really like Yuri that much but she sucks up to him anyways so he's more likely to let her hang around Mortkranken
Speaking of uniforms- Allister is constantly changing her fit depending on where she's doing. There's her school uniform, of course, and The Jumpsuit..., but she also has a casual fits she likes to wear when working around the park, usually made up of a band tee and jean shorts. Whenever she's loitering helping out at Mortkranken, she wears a cute little red velvet bodycon dress and a lab coat. Whenever she's out on missions, she goes all out on the wardrobe too. She's a little fashionista ✨
final tidbit of lore for her - Her favorite flower is the Spider Lily, which is also the nickname Towa calls her. There's a lot of meaning to spider lilies. Rebirth and renewal, eternal separation, paying tribute to the dead, and I think all of those really suit her.
I put a lot of love and crying over my lack of art skills into her, so I hope you guys like her at least a little bit 🫶🫶🫶

Derrycc was my character from my group's version of the DarkStryder Campaign Box Set from West End Game's Star Wars Role Playing Game.
He was originally going to be the Operations Officer, just another member of the Command Crew and regular Navy-type who would run the ship. For those who are familiar with the Campaign, yes he bumped out Darryn Thyte. None of us players ever ran any of the stock characters from the game, so we changed quite a bit of the story. However, as you may know the Captain dies early on, and First Officer Kaiya Adrimetrum becomes Captain, and so Derrycc was promoted to First Officer. Later on, my GM got tired of running the Captain as well as all the NPCs she had to deal with, so soon there was excuses for her not to be there, and then later she was written out and my dude was promoted to Captain.
The basic physical template for his looks started with Sir Kenneth Branagh, from his Hamlet. When I created Xan I was just getting into Shakespeare, and Kenny's movies helped me become a fan. I always described him as looking like Branagh but with red skin, generally human, kind of a red-skinned Thrawn. Since I had no artist way back when that was the best I could do. In some anachronistic role-playing, my fellow players and GM would describe hims as "satanic" or "devilish" looking. Apparently, they called him the "Dark Lord of the Bridge". I wanted him to be humanoid, but also wanted to develop his species. There is an older version in my gallery as I created the species but am not an artist, it is a work in progress.
Derrycc's race is Eltelaran. I thought of them as a planet that was kicked out of the Old Republic a couple hundred years ago for not keeping a central unified planetary government. They were a planet with still many nations, who temporarily allied to join the Republic, but could not keep it together, so they got the boot. Many of the nations are space-farers thru and thru, given to star sailing and tactics, many of them training from the time of adolescence in the way of naval warfare (much like British midshipmen way way back in the day). I imagined their system or sector somewhat isolated by nebula and asteroids and such, so they had little touch with the rest of the galaxy and no idea the Republic had fallen. Eventually, the Empire saw their martial ability as a threat and rolled in. I figure that they may not have advanced as much technologically given their isolation so it was only their tactical superiority that saved them from complete destruction. Those that did survive limped along to the nearby system of Dak, the Empire's next stop, only to find it in ruins as well, but they joined with the Mon Calamari and helped them convert their cruise ships into warships and train them in tactics.
Some of you may notice the uniform. It is more of what my idea of the Rebel uniform should look like. A little better tailoring than what you saw in Jedi was some slight alterations.
The character himself is a Navy man, born and bred. I was discovering Horatio Hornblower and the Aubrey/Maturin series at the time. Throw in a dash of Captain Picard's stoicism, Captain Kirk's ingenuity, with a little Lt Commander Hunter from Crimson Tide, Bart Mancuso from Hunt for the Red October, and so on...
