Caregiver Rogue and regressor Remy headcanons

Remy regresses to the age of 5, sometimes older

Rogue makes sure to have some structure when possible, having at least one full meal a day with snack time and a steady bedtime

She is very hands-on, she likes planning activities and outings to do together

Remy gets twice as affectionate and always wants to hold Rogue's hand when they're walking somewhere, even if its just down the hallway

They're both hardcore cuddlers

Rogue calls Remy sugar (of course), honey, baby, and Remy bear

Remy has a small plushie of Rogue that he carries around when he's regressed and Rouge is gone on a mission

Rogue got Remy a play kitchen so he can cook with her, and he makes his toys 'eat' the food that he made

Remy loves to play board games and card games. His favorites are Candy Land, Yahtzee, and solitaire

Rogue paints Remy's nails and he helps pick out her makeup

Remy loves having Rogue style his hair, he's partial to pigtails and braids

Rogue likes to go stargazing on warm nights and tells Remy the stories behind each constellation until he falls asleep

Every time Remy plays outside, Rogue has to check his pockets because there have been several occasions where he has successfully snuck in bugs, small reptiles, and amphibians

Remy likes being airborne so Rogue will repeatedly toss him into the pool and up in the air to catch him

She'll also fly with him while he pretends to be an airplane

Because of Rogue's powers, Remy will take her hand and put it against his forehead whenever he wants a kiss from her, then he'll kiss her hand to give her one back

Regressor!Gambit from X-Men

- Loves board games! Especially anything with cards, because he gets to show off. If he’s playing monopoly then Remy really likes being the one to hand out the money

- Baking is a big thing that helps Remy regress. He loves to be in the kitchen and getting into the big mixing bowls he usually doesn’t get to use

- He loves the carnival prizes that are near impossible to actually win but he ends up leaving with at least three anyway before the end of the night

- Pimento cheese sandwiches on Hawaiian rolls, Watergate salad, and Milo’s sweet tea in his sippy cup make for great quick snacks (it’s a southern thing)

Things The Regressors Of The X-Men Team Have Done

Remy once snuck an entire cake out of the kitchen for everyone to split 15 minutes before they were supposed to eat dinner while Logan was the distraction. Jean just let out a long, deep sigh of annoyance when she found the plates shoved under the couch

Warren called jubilee's favorite videogame dumb so she held his favorite blanket hostage until he apologized

Logan was told he couldn't have ice cream for breakfast and hid on the chandelier for six hours in retaliation

Remy exploded Kitty's slice of watermelon after she hogged the unicorn pool floaty

Kitty was having a play date with Lance and he wouldn't share the blue paint with her, so she phased it through the table which resulted in it spilling on the carpet and splattering them. Mystique laughed, Kurt did not

Logan dangled Morph off the edge of the roof because they had transformed into Scott to teasingly call him sweetie after overhearing Scott do it, which made Logan angry and embarrassed

Remy got stuck in the walls playing hide and seek. Twice

Warren used the feathers from Morph's pillow to make wings for his action figures, the next night Morph hid under Warren's bed and scared him

An unidentified assailant tracked mud all over the mansion, including both the walls and ceiling

Remy and Jubilee set a tree on fire and had to buy Hank's silence

Caregiver Remy Lebeau and little Logan headcanons

Remy is always sneaking in little cheek and forehead kisses

He can always tell when Logan is even the tiniest bit upset and will just hold his arms open until Logan initiates the hug

When Remy is sad or injured, Logan will give him one of his stuffies so he doesn't feel lonely

Remy makes silly faces at Logan and plays peek-a-boo to make him giggle

If Logan starts to get fussy, Remy will entertain him by doing card tricks

He will also randomly charge objects because little Logan is infatuated with the glow

Logan is picky and will only eat what Remy makes (nobody else cuts his food up small enough and they forget to cut his sandwiches into triangles)

He always wants to do what Remy's doing

Logan sometimes copies how Remy talks, referring to himself in third person, using whichever nickname Remy last called him

Remy insists on doing all the little things for Logan, like tying his shoes, buttoning his coat, tucking him in, etc.

When Logan falls asleep anywhere that isn't his bed, Remy will cover him with his trench coat as a makeshift blanket

Logan will steal it when he has trouble sleeping (Remy pretends not to notice)
