oh the silly shinonomes... they're quite the troublemakers, whether its against each other or working together. of course, they quibble quite a bit. they're the kinda sibbies to look at one sippy and demand more juice because they're just barely uneven. if one has it, so must the other. however, the two of them are also quite smart despite being tiny, and use this to team up! and thus the chaos begins. akito has probably tried to cook something, ena giving him the directions, leading to the poor dish burning. (mizuki had to help clean up that one, and then helped them make something nicer with less flames.) akito has also had the bright idea to stick a pancake in their portable dvd machine. ena was the one who flattened it to make it fit, and carved out the little hole, too! they were quite confused when the player wouldn't do anything, though, and thus they enlisted mizuki once again for help. (she had to tell them that no, just because you put something in the player, it doesn't mean it'll automatically play something.) after all of this, ena steals some cookies, and she and her little bro share the spoils, of course! ...and you might find them cuddled up, taking a nap together, too.

Baby Ena spilling one of her paint bottles on herself and crying because of the icky texture and also because ‘oh no, she got the floor dirty people are gonna be mad at her now!’ Akito hears her crying and sees her on the floor and just scoops her up and tells her it’s okay. She grips onto his shirt a little too tight while crying but he doesn’t mind too much. He helps her get clean and tells her that no one’s mad at her and it’ll be okay. They both deny the event ever happened the next day, but Ena is very grateful for her brothers help and Akito just so happens to find a plushie in his room that he could have sworn was in Ena’s the night before.

Touya’s a littleeeee too careful with them. If they want to go eat, he will hold their hands down the stairs even if they insist on doing it alone

First time it was nap time, he had his arms open for both Akito and Ena. Akito snuggled up to him fine, but when ena did so too and wouldn’t budge Akito had a meltdown :(

He’s too tiny to understand that his caregiver has two arms and can hold them both at the same time

Little Akito Shinonome Headcanons 🩷🥞

-Akito is the fussiest little ever. He gets so embarrassed and ashamed of being little, he can’t help but sob and whine over everything.

-It’s really easy to tell when Akito is feeling little, his cheeks get red, he’ll get all pouty, and most of his responses are just whining sounds.

-When he’s little and comfortable, he’s very playful, and will mess with his cg and let out the sweetest giggles 🩷

-Main caregivers are Toya and Ena, but very occasionally he’ll go to Sekai to get help from the virtual singers, if his partner or sister are busy, his favorite of which being Kaito.

-Kaito calls Akito kiddo, and often will just let him sit on his lap while they hang out in the cafe. They play games together a lot, and Kaito likes to bounce Akito on his knee when they do 🩷

-HATES being teased when little. An made a joke about him being a crybaby once and he immediately started crying harder and glaring at her. -Normally regresses to just a little kid, but sometimes he regresses younger, and at that point he just wants some snuggles and a nice big plushie to hold 🩷

...(i didn't know if you wanted headcanons of akito and ena separately, or together, so i did both! I hope you enjoy!!)

I personally headcanon Akito as a kid regressor, around 5-8 when he's little!! He is definitely a little brother regressor, even with people other than Ena! He just has little brother energy!

Secretly so clingy!!! It's not something he wants people to know, but when he's small and with someone he really trusts, he will always be close to them!!

With Vivid Bad Squad, he tries to hide when he's feeling a bit smaller than usual, but his partners are quite good at picking up on his small traits, and the slightest affection and care from them makes him the smallest boy!!!

Surprisingly picky when small. Carrots are obviously a big no-no, but it's hard to get the little guy to eat any veggies when he's small!! Why would you eat anything other than pancakes and cheesecakes?

Surprisingly, a great playmate!!! He gets along much better with people when he's small, and enjoys playing! With older regressors he can play sports, with smaller ones he can color and play pretend with!

ENA U^ェ^U

Like my headcanons for Akito's age, I believe Ena is a kid regressor, probably around age 6 on average! She maintains her pride even when she's small, standing firm on being a big girl when she's small, even though some petnames or sweet affection has her feeling so small!

Her artistic flair doesn't disappear when she regresses! However, her art makes a shift, from painting with brushes, to finger-painting! She makes the most beautiful pieces for her friends, being the talented little creator she is!

With Niigo meeting at 1 A.M., a little Ena struggles to stay awake for that meeting. There have been a few occasions of Ena regressing and falling asleep to the sounds of her friends voices on Nightcord, but it's so adorable to think about, how could they possibly mind?

The plushies in her room get the most use when she's little. If she is feeling lonely and can't chat with any of her friends, she has sleepovers with her plushies!! And, of course, she still enjoys selfies and photoshoots when little, so she can occasionally dress her plushies up and take photos with them to send to her friends!!! (they find these photos so cute)

We all know Ena is very stylish and aesthetic, caring about her appearance greatly, which carries over into her regressions! She loves playing dress up, having so much fun, being a pretty princess, a famous artist, a model, anything she can imagine while going through her closet!! ...she's a bit shy about this pastime, but she enjoys it so much!!!!

TOGETHER!!

You might not assume this from first impressions of the Shinonomes, but they are some of the cuddliest regressors ever!!! Playmates, caregivers, and especially eachother, they cuddle with all of them!! When the Shinonomes are small and sleepy, they cuddle up together with plushies and nap!!! They were a bit shy about it at first, but its grown into an important part of their bond when regressed.

Ena is occasionally quite whiny when she's little, wanting to play, color, cuddle, dress up, and being denied these fun activities only makes her whinier. Luckily, Akito, who I believe is an amazing playmate, is always up for it!! Anything for his big, or sometimes little, sis!

While there is some snark and argument in their relationship still, it is definitely muddled. Regressing is a very comfy, safe thing for them, and part of this comfort involves their happiness together. They play fight, wrestle a bit, horse around, but at the end of the day, the two siblings care about eachother deeply.

Toya is kind of new to the concept, but he picks up being a caregiver pretty easily!

Whenever he notices you're about to regress, he kind of panics, but he tries to ask you what you want to do about it

Unless you're the type of little who cannot stay still, he likes to sit with you and read you a bunch of stories

Akito:

Akito is incredibly unsure of himself as a caregiver, but he tries his best!

He absolutely entertains you however he can, from making you little outfits to beat boxing to even making pancakes for you!

Shizuku is definitely one of, if not the best caregiver on this list!

She dotes on you so much, you're literally never getting out of her arms for as long as you're regressed

While Shizuku is an incredible caregiver, Haruka is very close behind!

Mizuki remembers that conversation really vividly, the pinknette snaps out of their thoughts as soon as the bell has rung. Lunch break! Yes! Mizuki stood up from their seat and looks to see An who was already on her way to leave from the classroom, rushing over to their friend and tapping on her shoulder. An turns around to see Mizuki. Giving a small smile and wave, "Hey Mizuki" An says, Mizuki smiles as well greeting An back. "Heya An! How are you?" They asked. "I'm, doing fine!" She says they continue on with the conversation until they headed onto the rooftop as they both sat down together going to have their lunch.

"So, just asking a quick thing is that fine An?" Mizuki asks, they wanted to make sure if An was really okay with them asking about it so it's better to be safe than to be sorry. "Uh sure! M- I'm fine with it." "Alright alrighty then, do you feel small at the moment?" Uh, that sounds a bit too blunt- "Well cause, you seemed to be stumbling on your words a bit and how you seem alot less, energetic in a way?" An blinks for a bit looking down of the floor, she seems to relax a bit however her smile was quavering slightly..

"Sowwy, didn't. Mm.. Didn't wanna make it look like M was,," An says fiddling the hems of her blazer continuing to look down, Mizuki softens as An spoke before ruffling her hair slightly. "It's fine! Really, you just seemed a bit tired today? Anything in particular happened?" Mizuki asked, An nods slowly before just speaking on how yesterday's night wasn't the greatest. Mizuki continues to listen to An as she speaks out on how she felt also letting her lay on their shoulder to rest a bit. "Ah I see, well then. If you are that stressed about it you could've just ask for help you know? And even if I or anyone else was busy it would have been okay to ask right?" An nodded again, just staying quiet for the time being. Mizuki let's the silence take over for a bit, speaking again however a few minutes later. "Do you wanna skip classes today or mark yourself as excused?" An shook her head and spoke up. "Nuh uh.. Don't wanna, get in twouble.." Mizuki chuckles at that giving An some head pats. "It's fine really, I'll just say you weren't feeling like yourself and I'll help you get home. Maybe I can even call Otouto-kun, Touya and Kohane about it to stay with you after school? Well until then you can stay at my place if you want!"

An thinks for a slight moment, before slowly nodding. "Oki.." Mizuki took the yes and helped An up as they go and excuse the regressed singer for the day.

Sooner enough the two arrived at Mizuki's house, An couldn't really change out of her uniform so she just has to roll with it. Mizuki let's An sit on the sofa as the mv creator goes to the kitchen and sees what they can make for the little, before settling with Mac and cheese for An. Going off to make it, An however since getting Mizuki's permission turns the TV on and sees on what she can watch before stumbling onto a cartoon channel not really switching it out and just enjoying the characters talk and play.

After a few minutes Mizuki brings the bowl of Mac and cheese to the living room and places it on the coffee table for An to eat later when it isn't hot, sitting beside the regressed singer and seeing what is she watching. "Whatcha watchin?" Mizuki asked looking at An and ruffling her hair again. An giggled at the action since it was comforting and silly before answering "ʼM found Doraemon!!" An says happily, her attention back to the screen. Mizuki smiles at how An seems to be more comfortable at the moment, however she did have to remind her to eat her Mac and cheese. Eh she can tell her later if that's ever fine, right now Mizuki herself goes and watches the anime with An.

It's after hours until VBS entered the house after the text they got from Mizuki, they went over as soon as they can. Only seeing now how Mizuki and An are asleep on the sofa with an empty bowl on the coffee table and a different cartoon playing. "I suppose Mizuki-san was able to take care of it while we were busy aha-" Kohane says, looking at the two. Touya nodded whilst Akito went up and lightly shook Mizuki awake. "GAH- IM UP-!" Akito, Kohane, and Touya all hushed Mizuki in unison. The pinknette covered their mouth looking over seeing how An was still sleeping peacefully, Mizuki removes their hands smiling slightly as they look at An.

"Ah, looks like the both of us caught some shut eye eariler ahah-" Mizuki rubs the back of their head before Touya speaking up. "It's quite alright, An seems to be doing well under your care." Akito nods in agreement speaking up as well. "Mhm, thanks for being with her while we were at school." Kohane goes up to An and gently shakes her, getting the regressed singer to wake up and yawn.

"Hello starlight, how was your sleep?" Kohane asked in a gentle voice, An rubs her eyes and speaks slightly. "Ish oki, slept oki" Kohane smiles patting her head gently "Do you wanna go home now starlight?" An nodded reaching out for Kohane as Kohane goes and helps her up, letting the little one cling onto her. "Again we can't thank you enough Mizuki-san..!" Kohane thanks, Akito and Touya also thanked Mizuki. "Say thank you and goodbye to Mizuki starlight." Touya says in a warm tone like a blanket wrapping you into a hug.

"Thank chu big sis Zuki,, also bye bye.." An waves a goodbye still clinging onto Kohane, causing Akito to laugh at it slightly. "Alright we'll be headin' out. Bye Mizuki." "Bye Otouto-kun!~" Akito groans at the nickname before he leaves first, Touya and Kohane laughing a bit before they wave a goodbye to Mizuki and leaving the house.

Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be writing for Project Sekai anymore, so consider this my final post about it! While I'm speaking on it, I would like to thank everyone for the support and I'm happy that I was able to provide so much joy to people while writing for it! It still holds a place in my heart, so one day I'll hopefully return to it.

But, without further ado!

Little Shinonome Siblings Headcannons!

Akito:

Personally, I see him as a kid regressor!

He has a decently wide age range and usually falls around the middle of it

6-12, usually averaging out at 8 or 9

While regressed, he's much less extroverted

While he does enjoy going out with his caregiver, he can only do it when he's sure no one is around

He insists he's not embarrassed, but it's pretty obvious that he is

(side note; there's nothing to be embarrassed about if you regress! you're perfect the way you are <3)

He loves going to the park when he's small, no matter what age

Though on his more drawn in days, he'd much rather sit with his caregiver and watch cartoons

Big fan of Spongebob

If you are in the house, you will be forced to watch with him

There is no other option! He will stare you down until you give in

Speaking of, he's not a very tantrum-y kid

Unless he goes much younger than usual, down to a toddler or baby space, he'll throw tantrums over the smallest things

At that rate, only a few things can calm him down

One being his caregiver, two being Ena, and three being doing what he originally wanted

All in all, he's a contained disaster (affectionate)
