Alright, I'm just gonna post some stuff about Ylves (male dunmer oc & self insert):

- he is my HoK and also the new Mad God

- he has re-incarnated a total of 6 times, so he's living his 7th life right now

- 1st and present selves are the same, in looks etc

- in his first and present life he has the same sister, -> (the sister re-incarnated once)

- he thinks he has a lot of confidence, until he actually has to speak or make eye contact with somebody

- in total he has lived exactly 170 years, but in his present life he is 27

- re-incarnation things: 1: his og self, 2: a female redguard, 3: a female bosmer, 4: a male imperial, 5: a female orc, 6: a male bosmer, 7: "his og self"

- in his first and present life he is 176cm's tall

-> ( ~ 5 foot 9.3 inches )

- suprisingly, he hasn't had a lot of partners, but he did khm sleep with a lot of people

- he's bisexual

- his first partner (in his first life) was a female altmer named Enciclo, and his current partner is a male altmer named Fleron

- in his current life he has a female altmer friend named Enciclo, and it's the same person he was first together with but he doesn't realise that -> (so Enciclo also re-incarnated once)

- he is in the Dark Brotherhood and the Fighters Guild

-he has a house at the waterfront (~imperial city), but he lives together with Fleron in a mansion 2 hours away from Chorrol

- he doesn't worship any gods no matter what kind of god, but his fav daedric prince was Sheogorath

- in his 1st and present life he was born on 14th of Morning Star, but his birthsign is The Thief

- he has an obsession with daedric stuff, because he thinks they look cool -> his armor is the dark seducer armor, even tho if it wouldn't be game logic, it would be terrible protection

- he has three rings and a necklace: Ring of Lordship, Ring of Happiness & Charity of Madness necklace, the third ring he got from Fleron, it looks like an engagement ring lol👀 and it has shield enchantment on it (14% shield)

- oh and he is the new Madgod, Sheogorath, but he doesn't like when people call him that because he wants the og Sheogorath back

I just read the entirety of The Book of Bill with my friends. We read it out loud in the darkness using a flashlight and signed all 4 of our names in it. Haven't laughed so hard in a while (and then almost cry, but that's later)

Heavily recommend it if you're a Gravity Falls fan.

Still recovering from Bill's backstory. Rambling ahead Heavy spoiler alert. He was loved, he was 12, he was the only one in his 2D universe able to see on 3D, he just wanted to show them the stars. And now he doesn't even remember what the fuck he did, only the chaos, the screams, his shaking hands covered in blood and then nothing at all, just a glitchy void in his memories and his universe being gone. And he carries the last spec of his dimension in his hat, and CONFIDED to Ford and showed it to him. And when Ford asked what killed his dimension, he froze before saying "a monster", he sees himself as that. Fuck. ALSO when giving the reader advice on how to seduce someone he said to (paraphrased) "lock them in a pyramid and sing to them until the fall for you" which is what he did to Ford, he also said to gift them rats, which he gave Ford too, the book is full of shit like that, motherfucker guided and interrupted the reader all the book but specifically never interrupted Ford's pages, and when threatening to kill him if he didn't open the portal, he gave him 3 days to do it, which ruined his plans in the end, and he said he doesn't know why he did that, but implying he did it because in some twisted way he cared, the same way he still offered him to join him during weirdmagedon even after the whole betrayal thing. And when Ford cut tied with him, he got hammered and asked the cashier, while heavily drunk, for "one sixer, please" and cried when they told them they had no idea what that was, later taking the phone from the cashier on a call with 911 to say (paraphrased because my book is in Spanish) "Hi, mom, it's billy, i want--- i'm coming back from school soon, remember to cut the crust of my sandwiches or i'm--- where did everyone go? WHERE-". His mom called him Billy, HE WAS BILLY, and since he was the Pines twins's age when he destroyed everything, he assumes he's just that age when talking to her, coming back from school. And now he's in therapy jail? And i don't get if he's totally dead or if he's a ghost, he aparently can reencarnate if he heals, but he fucking hates therapy jail, and he's getting desperate to get out, and he doesn't... look good. Can't believe i feel actually bad for the triangle. I'm- jeez, I can go on for hours. Bill Cipher having feelings (and a crush on Ford) was not on my 2024 bingo card, but i fucking love this book. God I missed that guy so much.

Someone in the comments of my own fic asked for NaruSasu recs, so I thought I'd also make a post compiling my absolute favourites here! I've been so fortunate with the response to my work on AO3 so I hope this is a nice way to share the love around:

Inside this place is warm by magma. One shot, a cozy night in with Sasuke and hokage!Naruto where they figure out what they are to each other. It's short, so well written and the author really grasps the subtleness/complex nature of their relationship! (the author is @magmavox on tumblr!)

Swimming against the current by GODZILLA90095. Part 1 of the series with the same name. College AU. When I tell you I devoured this fanfic........ Lowkey-emo!Sasuke, hockey-player!Naruto. It's funny, it's got lots of pinning, it's got feels, it's got Naruto figuring out his sexuality in the most typically Naruto way, basically it's got IT ALL. And the writing is amazing. It was the fic that inspired me to get on the website and post my own work.

Tears don't fall by GODZILLA90095 (again bcs they rule). Part 1 of the series A different way but just as good. Modern AU. It's kind of a Naruto and Sasuke get a second chance in their 30s after a huge break-up. Naruto has kids with Hinata, but he's gay. It's heartbreaking, raw, real, beautiful.... fuckkkk read it!!!

The Symposium series by candlewix. Told from the perspective of ace!Kakashi. We see Naruto and Sasuke's love story across the years from his eyes. No one, I mean NO ONE, is as funny as this author. The way they write Kakashi's POV is hilarious, but so well balanced by the profound and beautiful descriptions the author writes about what Nart and Sake mean to each other. ugh.

We Deserved a Better Ending My Love by narutophobia. Reencarnation babyyy! Naruto and Sasuke in modern times, but everything that was in canon was real just reaaally long ago. Naruto remembers, searches for Sasuke (who doesnt remember!!). SHENANIGANS ensue. Beautiful love story and such an interesting take on things.

love like this is forever by moonplums.  Part 1 of the series forever. It's set in Boruto era/world - I am not usually into that tbh, it gives me anxiety to think about Sasuke and Naruto not getting together after the war BUT this series does it quite nicely, kind of like they have their awakening later in life and it's very cute how they have a family with the kids. Sarada's POV. Worth reading for sure!

when it all comes together, there's just you by kintou.  It's short fragments of both Naruto and Sasuke discovering their sexualities across the years, with and without each other. Super cute and interesting, and smutty! I love the concept. (author is @ao3-kintou on tumblr!)

I was planing for this to be with more characters but it end up being way to long, so i'll probably do the characters in separated fics

I'm not complaining, I loved so much writng this!! I find the prompt reaaaaally beautiful and romantic!!

Hanako-kun

Among the students of the Kamome Gakuen School you have heard about the rumor of Hanako of the bathroom, a supernatural that can make your wish real for a price, and you decided to give a try, maybe that supernatural could help you find your eternal lover. It was a while since last time you saw him and you were starting to grow worried, maybe he grow tired of the endless cicle of reencarnation and find a way to don't come back?

The bound you two share always lead you to were he reencarnate to meet again, it has always been the same, and when the supernatural answered your call on the bathroom you understood why you were in that academy, for some reason your lover, instead of meeting him as a human like you usually do, now was stuck in a supernatural form, so this is why you haven't saw him in ages!

You weren't scare of him, just shocked, what made Hanako confused, you try to talk to him and continue with the act, explaining your eternal relasionship to him right now would be dificult (and weird, you don't know how he'll react if you tell him right away), however Hanako was wary of you since the start, you weren't surprised to see a ghost, besides only people that are somehow close to dead can summon him and you can even touch him! His insticts tell him that this Is bad, that you may be some kind of threaten, and yet he feel somehow at peace and even happy to see you, like if deep down he were waiting for you. It was so strange and a little scary, he decided to follow you with the excuse of helping you fulfill your wish just to watch you close

It was just matter of time for Hanako to let his guard down, the more time he spend with you the more he felt like it was alright, like if at your side was his place, he somehow felt like he already knew you for a long time but he couldn't just grap his head to understand were you two met. He has even asked Tsuchigomori for help, heck, he even tried to read his own book for answers and searched for yours, but yours was a forbidden book, he was so surprised and even scare when he found your book painted in a pitch black, but, somehow, instead of fearing you he feared for you, as if something would happen to you

He tried to hide his doubts, not wanting to frightening Yashiro or Kou for simple speculations, and he would lost all credibility anyways because it had been only matter of time for him to start to fall in love with you. Hanako first started to follows you with the excuse to watch you but soon it start to be because he craved for your company

Involve you with all the supernaturals mess was an accident but soon he just started to feel bad about it, as well the need to protect you grew inside of him, he asked you to help Yashiro to the cleaning in exchange of your wish to keep you in track but soon he just wanted to have you close, he wanted to stay serious about the topics but something on you just make him feel so safe and comforted, like if you had know each other since always and had always been together

Soon it become too much for him, he was confused about it because he wanted to be with you but at the same time felt so anxious about this strange feelings, and it become a little obvious since he was acting quiet strange, as if he didn't know what to do whenever you were around, like a kid wanting to act angry but craving for attention. It is because either you decide to tell him or because he finally won the courage to ask you about it, but soon you finally get to explain it to him

To say that he was shocked it falls short, that was the start but soon all kind of feelings hit him, all at the same time, getting to know that not just you are an inmortal being but that you two had met like an eternity ago, just like now, you fell in love with a mortal and that love was so stronge and pure that he promised to always come back to be able to see you again, to be with you, and he actually came, everytime he died after some time he reincarnated and you two always saw each other again (however, he never really remember the promise or you, so is like a restart). Hanako felt flustered and even flattered at the thought of someone patiently waiting for him until you two can be together again, even if it takes decades, but he also felt bad for doubting you since you were just acting out of love, and even a little guilt because now you are stuck in this school with him

Hanako will need some time to think about it alone, this was a huge revelation and it affect him more because of how he sees himself and the fact that he is a ghost stuck in this school, he is sure that he loves you and wants to be with you, but how would you feel about the fact that the person you had been waiting for is an assasin? or about the fact that you had been waiting for him for so long and now he is stuck in this school? He feel bad about it and insecure, but also he feels selfish because deep down he want for you to don't give up on him and stay with him, at least a little longer

He would probably need some comfort and reasurance from your part, promising that, despite his actual situation, you still love him. At the end he will have a serious talk with you, asking you (a little insecure and scare of your answer) if you would accept him even if he is now a ghost stuck in the school, or even if you would accept him even knowing that he is an assasin, and when you tell him that you still love him that is a huge relief for him, immediatly feeling like if he had lost a huge weight of his shoulders, and he finally let himself enjoy being with you and actually dating

It would take him a while to get used to knowing all of this but once he does Hanako will start asking you about you being a inmortal and if you have any special power too, as well he may or may not be interesed on his past lifes so he will sneak a few asks and cover up his curiosity with jokes and even being a little flirty, however he gets flustered pretty easy whenever you tell him the romantic and cheesy parts of your love story, but he will try to brush it off by teasing you for it

Re: 49% & 51% of Kim Dokja

Realizing that Dokja gave the part of him that wasn't a "Reader" bc he thought that would be the part of him his companions would like the most, and would be the most "normal" part of him got me crying for hours, like genuinely I was bawling my eyes out bc is such a familiar feeling. (This is one of the ways in which I interpreted it, I'm not really sure if its canon though)

It reminded me of how we usually hide our passions from the others, especially if we're into things that are considered too niche or weird by the general public bc we have this crippling anxiety inside ourselves that tells us that nobody will ever understand or love this part of us, bc it's too much, too intense, too unusual. And also many of us have our own doses of trauma associated with having interests that were "different" during our teenage years.

Like for me, even in my adult life I feel like having a heart attack anytime I mention one of my interests (anime, manga, asian novels in general, rock music, etc yk all that nerdy otaku stuff) and its so so difficult to show that part of me without feeling literal physical pain.

It also means a lot to me that Dokja49% was "reencarnated" as Lee Hakhyun and Lee Hakhyun became a writer who loves his readers very much, who are mostly fragments of Dokja51%.

It's all coming around to show us how he learns to love and save every part of himself, giving him what he loves most -a story- or that's the idea I'm currently getting from the Side Story (still not up to date).

So this rant might be slightly unaccurate canon-wise but god it makes me so sad.
