7 years ago, I wrote my #filmscript in my #Editing #class at the @bmcc_cuny 6 years ago, during my #firstsemester at @nyusteinhardt & my #finalyear at @americaneedsyou I decided to use my own #scholarship #money I #earnednotgiven from @hispanicscholarships & @hispanic.caucus to #fulfill a #lifelong #dream of being able to #fund my #firsfilm #endeavor, "Unexpected". #Thatmomentwhen you post about @ciara and her amazing performance on @goodmorningamerica and she actually likes your post. I just want to say how much she inspired me, at the end of the concert, she gave a closing speech and brought tears to my eyes. She spoke exactly what I needed to hear in that moment, with my sister @mind_yours13 4 year anniversary of her passing, she spoke about the power of believing in yourself. She said, she could have given up so many times, but she pushed forward and kept going. You only need one person to believe in you, and that’s you, and when you truly believe, you can create your own reality. She also thanked us all for supporting her because without us there is no her. 😭I long for the day to meet her one on one and tell her how much she has inspired and uplifted me. I have a new level of respect for her for being such a humble and gracious soul while maintaining so many years of fame. She is truly a class act!
