It’s my birthday y’all! Yes, I might spend the day working (just a teensy bit 😬) but then I’m going to have a hot tub soak and an outdoor dinner with the man of my dreams! Also, we’ve been pretty quiet about this development, but we bought a little house last month and we start moving on Monday!!!!! As a gift Nathan coordinated with the seller to map out our garden, which is incredible, the garden I’ve always daydreamed about: fruit trees, permaculture planting and OMG CHICKENS!!!! 5枚目は、重箱です。どんなお料理も美味しく見える？！紫陽花螺鈿蒔絵重箱と切子の蓋付三段重です。切子のお弁当箱なんて実用してたのかしら。おうち用かな。

6枚目は、異国趣味の湯桶です。おしゃれ〜。

サントリー美術館　ART in LIFE,LIFE and BEAUTY第2回です。

1枚目は舞踊図。Dancersって英語の説明がついてたよ！着物は当時人気の柄が描かれているんだって。鹿の子とか今でもあるよね。

2枚目は、お化粧してるところ。当時のお化粧道具も描かれているよ。

3枚目は、髪型の絵。アップは和装にも洋装にも合うよね。これを見て練習したりしたのかな。最初はうまく出来なくて腕が疲れちゃったりするのよね。

4枚目は、着物の柄の見本帳。ファッション誌のように読まれたりもしたんだって。こんな大胆な柄が流行ってたんだね。

5枚目は、眉毛の書き方を紹介したもの。こういうの昔からあったのね〜。

6枚目は、枕だって。かたいよね。香を入れられるようになっていて、香りを髪の毛にうつすんだって。昔は着物に香を焚き染めるのもあったよね。
