Reeds POV;

Reed got back late, about 7 am, he had been out all night with Ronan and Patrick, his lip was busted and he needed an ice pack for his eye.

Savannah was the only one who knew about Reed sneaking out in the middle of the night, and given she was the only one who practised healing magic before she was turned.

He hopped over the wall to the pool, collin had a flair for the fancy, none of them could swim in the daytime so the pool was heated.

“Who’s there!?” A familiar, annoying, voice chimed in.

Ella.

Collins favourite. Reed SWORE they had some deal. But he knew she would scream. He jumped out of the bush covering Ella's mouth.

“Shut up. If I move my hand will you scream?”

She violently shook her head, and Reed let go

“REED WHAT THE- MMPH-“

“You just promised. Where is sanny?”

“MMMPHHMMM..”

Reed rolled his eyes, letting Ella go and walking away to find Savannah. The house was quiet, collin was probably asleep which explained why no one was being loud…

He walked towards the kitchen, going to grab an ice pack, he heard the sink running, ██████ had probably left the sink running, and he could see Ethan standing outside the kitchen

“can't even be bothered to go in bitch boy?” He scoffed, he loved teasing Ethan, he saw Savannah as well, they looked like they had just gotten there...

“Where’s ██████?”

He was about to go walk in, turn off the sink and grab an ice pack, then he saw the blood, and then the knife.. and then.. the body...

He froze and then tried to run in but Ethan grabbed him, restraining him from running over to ██████.

“Ethan let me GO- she- She isn't dead!-“

He could see her, she wasn't dead she wasn't dust. She wasn't dust! Why was Ethan or Savannah helping her where was Collin?!

“Reed please-“

“Fuck you Ethan let me go. ██████! She's still alive Ethan!” he could feel his voice cracking

Savannah grabbed Reed's shoulder, pulling him back, Reed tried to pull away

“Reed-“ Ethan spoke, trying to calm Reed down, which was never an easy task.

“CAN IT JACKASS- let me go! She- she can be saved!” He couldn't lose ██████. She was the only one who cared about him in this god-forsaken clan.

He couldn't lose her. Sure, she was his maker, and sure he resented her for what she put him through, but ██████ was practically his mother. Why was no one helping her?!

“I can't lose her. I can't! Get the fuck off of me Ethan- wh- why aren't you helping her?!”

He tried to punch Ethan, tried to pull away, anything. He wanted. No need to help her, he didn't want her to die. Not yet. He still needed her.

“REED. Fuck sake she's done for. You saw this coming…”

“LET ME GO- STOP IT. SHE-“ he could feel the tears burning behind his eyes, he didn't want to break down. Especially in front of Ethan and Savannah.

He turned, and elbowed Ethan in the nose, causing him to let go, Savannah's grip wasn't tight, and it wasn't hard to pull away and toward ██████.

Reed bent down, trying to check for a pulse, only to realise, vampires do not have a pulse

“Brooke please- please stay with me-“

Brooke smiled, reaching up to grab reeds cheek, she could barely lift her arm

“WHERE IS COLLIN?!”

He turned around, looking at Ethan, who was currently holding a bloody nose with tears in his eyes, Savannah, he couldn't figure out what that expression was…

He turned to Brooke who was currently bleeding out, still not dust. He could fix this.

He went to grab his medkit out of his jacket pocket, trying to bandage up the wound.

“SAVANNAH- PLEAS-..” he was cut off, he saw Collin. He could see the sadness, and then Ethan coming over, grabbing Reed and pulling him away

“Get off! Fuck Ethan get off of me!!” He was breathing heavily, and looking at Brooke’s body, he could see her eyes closing Collin going to turn the sink off.

The sink was the last thing on Reed's mind.

“It is ok Brooke” Collin spoke, crouching down next to her “You did your best”

Did her best?! Why wasn't he helping?

“MA’!! MA’ please! Collin do something- Coll-“

Dust.

She turned to dust.

The only thing left on the kitchen floor were her bones, ethan dragged Reed over to Savannah, who quickly took Reed into her arms and led him away

Reed was frozen in shock… his vision blurring and his ears ringing, he was frozen in shock…

Steven Grant

Steven was scared of you at first, that's for sure. The all black and scary look definitely worked on him

It wouldn't be until you approached him that he realized you weren't going to bite him

He finds the difference between the two of you funny, positively.

To me, he seems more like a listener of ABBA and The B-52, those kind of older songs that are more up beat. Something that some suburban dad definitely has on vinyl

I firmly believe that Steven fucking loves the B-52s for some reason, he just has those vibes

Softer type of music, you know? Definitely not metal

But he does enjoy that you're kind and really nice rather than acting the part of how you look

But the one time when you two were out and someone insulted you both and you proceeded to yell at them and cuss them out was a day that he thinks about a lot. You weren't even yelling at them for insulting you, you just tore them a new one because they insulted him

He felt something that day, and he's not saying that he wants you to yell at him, but if you bossed him around a little then he's going to do it with a tent in his pants

He's too embarrassed to admit that but it's defiantly something that's there and you'll catch on someday

Back to the actual topic though, Steven doesn't like metal but he supports you liking it since it makes you happy

Would attend a concert with you but he'd have ear plugs in so that the music doesn't hurt his ears or stress him out

Also, you will have to leave him in the back because he's not going in the mosh pit, he would not survive. I'm sorry but he's not built for that

Marc Spector

Okay, Marc doesn't really listen to metal, he's not an avid metal listener. But I'm sure he's listened to a few songs and knows the more mainstream bands

He thinks you're cool though. Similar to my HCs for them with a goth partner, he finds it fascinating how you don't care how people perceive you and just be yourself. You're happy and he uses that as inspiration to be himself too

Marc would listen to metal music with you if it comes up, maybe you expand his knowledge of the genre

Do I think he'd handle a mosh pit? No, I think it would stress him out too much. Too much is happening and it freaks him out. Loves seeing you having fun though so go mosh for him

Marc also respects the fact that you're still polite and not true to how people think you would be, but 100% if you tell someone off then he's all for it. You tell 'em!

Since I went on a whole side tangent on Steven's music tastes, it's only right I do it for Marc

Marc sort of shares the same taste as Steven where he listens to songs that were around when they were younger. He's a classics kind of guy. He likes it when he hears people from back then on the radio

This man refuses to leave the 80's and 90's music scene. You will have to pry it from him in the field of reeds

Jake Lockley

Jake is such a "I love all genres" guy, he listens to everything and finds something to like in it. Even country, yeah sure modern country sucks but older ones are the ones he talks about when e talks about country music

So yeah, Jake definitely likes metal and can get into it. So feel free to play it around him

He also thinks you're cool and loves your whole look. Buys a shirt to match

100% would love to see you tear someone a new one so long as they deserve it. This man is an enabler, he's in the back cheering you on

Also, if you ask him to go to a concert with you, he will say yes so fast

Jake would survive the mosh pit, he would thrive

It lets him let out some stuff that he's been holding back and energy that he can't really put anywhere else

Honestly Jake would be so clearly into your whole metalhead life. He thinks it's hot. He finds it sexy. There's something about the loud music and look that does something for him and he's not going to hide that

Honestly, yell at him in bed, it'll be good foreplay if you're down

So I started watching Found. A show about a team of vigilante-adjacent civilians who search for missing people (specifically the ones that get forgotten by cops). Lead by Gabi Mosely, a former kidnapping victim who's now holding her childhood kidnapper locked up in her basement.

As one does.

And honestly it's pretty great.

Here's the trailer:

The relationship between Gabi and Sir (don't ask!) is just as much of an emotional landmine clusterfuck as you might think. And will probably appeal to the fans of stuff like Prodigal Son (in the sense that we've got the hero in a codependent association with their abuser as they try get that abuser to help them investigate and save other people from the things they once put other people through).

But there's also a pretty great team around Gabi and that part of the show will probably appeal to the people who enjoy shows like Leverage, The Equalizer and Lie to Me (which, coincidentally they actually kinda have Gillian Foster's actress as the Cal Lightman of the team... but with less ego).

So the team...

Gabi Mosely. The main character and the team leader. She's the crusader of the team. Cares about the victims so much. Is willing to do absolutely anything to reunite the missing people with their families.

Margaret Reed. Gabi's lead investigator who developed her deductive reasoning and Sherlock Holmes levels attention to detail after her son went missing. It's a non-superpower superpower.

She juggles the two sides of tragic optimism like a champ.

There's Dhan Rana. The muscle of the team with PTSD from his own time in captivity (details to be revealed but my personal current guess is time as prisoner of war... don't quote me on that though).

Very ride or die, especially where Gabi's concerned (I mean this in a platonic sense, he's got a husband).

Then there's Zeke Wallace. The tech support and occasional hacker for the team. Suffers from agoraphobia, ergo can't leave his apartment because of trauma from his own kidnapping (details unknown, but initial guess is that he was kidnapped for ransom, his family money seems to at least partially fund their operation).

There's also a token cop character named Mark Trent. He's... fine.

And finally, my favorite out of everyone there, Lacey Quinn. The law student moonlighting as legal assistant.

I've got a more detailed description of her role in the story but as it's a bit of a spoiler (though something that gets revealed within the first few episodes) I'm putting it under a cut (you can decide for yourself if a reveal that happens within the first three episodes is too big for you or not).

Lacey too was kidnapped as a child by Sir and then saved by Gabi when the two of them managed to escape. Since then the two have developed a very close sisterly bond.

Lacey however is NOT aware that her former kidnapper is locked up in Gabi's basement.

Sports:

-Varsity runner on xc for school as of this year, ive been running for xc for 6 years on middle school teams, and running groups, but i took a year break last year. I qualified for post season, but declined because i wanted to focus more on swim(late summer-fall sport)

-Club swimmer for 10 years, i have been on my current team for 7 years. I practice on average 15 hours a week. It is a very intense sport, which is why i normally high restrict (year round)

-Varsity swimmer for school last year, and i probably will be this year because not many people on my team swim the 500 free, which is what i went to districts for last year (winter sport)

-Varsity track runner for school last year (hopefully this year too) I have ran track w the high school, but i ran 8 years through middle school and elementary teams. (spring sport)

Other stuff i do:

-I lifeguard at my local rec center, working maybe 10 hours a week.

-I’m participate in a few clubs at school (mostly morning clubs, cuz im always busy after school) these clubs include: study buddies, french club, and the math club.

- I really like reading, and doing crosswords. my favorite books are probably “My Sister’s Keeper,” and “Landscape with Invisible Arm”

-I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE movies. My favorites are “Heathers,” “American Beauty,” “Jawbreaker,” “But I’m A Cheerleader,” and “White Chicks”
