Lysandre stood just a foot away from the window, staring through the curtains with a plain and tired gaze. What was taking them so long to find one core? The amount of cells has increased, yes...and according to Xerosic, those that have already made it to Kalos have provided decent research pointers. At yet...It wasn't useful--or as--without the cores that could control them.

Perhaps there was a way to create a conduit of sorts...One that might enable a cell to become a core...He doubted it, but it wasn't something that was out of the realm of possibilities. Not to mention, there were two suspected cores in Kalos itself. It would simply be easier to collect them here, where the signatures of cores was practically everywhere.

They were here, they just needed to find them. Yet what have they done? Cell after cell, with little success of a core in mind. It was...disappointing to say the very least. A sharp inhale followed his breathe upon hearing the door of his hotel room opening. He didn't move to look, the inventor remained utterly silent. Waiting for a response while nearby, one of his ralts turned to look--of course he took them, as much as he trusted the staff in his home, he did not wish for anything to happen to them. They were liable for damage, and they always felt safer with him, than without. Not to mention, the prospect of finding someone would be easier convinced with familiar company.

" monsieur lysandre, we have news on the core situation. "

That peaked his interest, somewhat, yet the label of 'news' did not indicate whether it would better or worsen his already soured mood. He did not give any indication that he was listening, simply continuing to stare through the window--they would speak, he did not need to tell them to go.

" ...it also relates to the skull you have been conversing with. it seems that the survey team keeping track of them has detective possible core signatures. "

Lysandre turned away from the window finally, carefully moving to close the curtains, the light was already beginning to dim from the setting sun, better to simply cut it off completely. Still, the man didn't respond, walking over towards the diluted ralts, crouching down and holding out his gloved hand. A gentle sort as the little psychic type smiled and placed her little 'paws' over his palm, making happy little squeaks. Seems her twin was hiding somewhere in the room, he'd find that little one later.

" ...do you want us to act...? or continue our observations. "

A low hum pressed against his lips, eyes closing, remaining still for the little psychic type to carefully squeeze his hand.

" keep your distance, continue observation. if the signals spike any further, then i will go myself, but do not be spotted, understood? we don't want trouble with the larger team skull, one child is enough. if you spot a core, immediately contact me and i will come myself. "

A pause, low blue eyes opening as he glanced at the admin giving the report, his eyes narrowing to appear almost sharp.

" --i will alert bryony to go to ula'ula island as well. if it gets out of hand, she will be alerted. but...i do doubt it will get to that, will it? observe, do not act. "

Lysandre turned away from the admin, who gave a simple bow, then exited the room, leaving him alone with the diluted ralts. He shook his head and simply sighed, pulling his hand carefully away, which caused the psychic type to squeak a few times then plop into a sit on the couch.

" oh what am i to do with you? children, really...so unpredictable. let's hope we find more than just those cores. yes? "

Upon finishing, the ralts looked briefly saddened before smiling and squeaking, nodding a few times before hopping up to wander around the room, looking for her twin.

" unpredictable, yes. so much trouble for one little thing... "
