17.Who invented the animal-to-human translator.
(For the descendants theories thing )
Tumblr media
There are many inventors in disney who could have made the animal-to-human translator.
But the question we must ask ourselves is who could or would do so? Who has motive to do so?
And who wouldn't?
Today I will be focusing on who could and couldn't have invented the animal translator thing and I will be going over those in the wiki and those that may have been forgotten/overlooked by the wiki to do so.
Couldn't:
Chef Andre (from Sofia the first): He gave up on inventing before the series even began and didn't seem to have interest in taking it back up, so he's out.
Spiderman (The Amazing Spiderman): We have no real proof he exists in Disney Descendants and, even if he did, this doesn't really seem his style so he's out.
Aggro (Miles from Tomorrowland): We have no proof that he exists and again, this doesn't really seem his style so he's out.
Professor Acari (Kim Possible): He focuses mainly on robotics, so this translator thing does not seem to be his type of thing. So he's out too.
Dr. Akita (Ducktales): He is a dog and doesn't like treating things he sees as beneath him as people, so why would he be interested in inventing something just to communicate with things he sees as beneath him (he'd probably see humans as less than him too)? He's out.
Dr. Axolotl (TaleSpin): He has beef with Shere Khan, who probably exists in Disney Descendants (I think it was actually stated he did exist?), but he's an animal himself and I honestly can't see him wanting to communicate with humans, so he's out.
Bug Bailey (Dick Tracy): We don't know if he exists and he was the tech expert of the police department, so we have no idea if he's even capable of inventing such a device. He's out.
Baron Von Steamer (Big Hero Six: The Series): We don't know if he exists and he doesn't seem to have interest in animals, so he probably wouldn't invent such a thing, so he's out.
The Beagle Boys (DuckTales): No motive and might not even exist, so they're out.
Beaker (Muppets): We don't know if he exists and his inventions tend to turn out wrong, so it probably wasn't him.
Belle (Beauty and the Beast): I can't remember if animated Belle was an inventor, but even if she was, she was queen when it was invented. When would she have time?
Sara Bellum (Darkwing Duck): She might not exist, she's a duck, and the invention wouldn't help the organization much at all, so probably not her.
Big Bad Wolf (Redux Riding Hood): He could exist and maybe he could invent the thing, but he's a villain so he'd be on the isle (as would most of the villains/former villains) and thus the technology would not be available to those in Auradon. So he's out.
Alador Blight (Owl House): He could exist and could be capable/interested in inventing such an item but he'd probably be on the isle, unfortunately. So, because of the lack of availability of the technology for the Auradon folk, he's out.
Boone Wiseman (Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero): I can't see him inventing something like that unless it was for a mission and he's a part time hero, so he's probably pretty busy. He's out.
Dr. Cyrus Bortel (Kim Possible): Based on his previous inventions alone, he's out even if you could argue he'd be capable. It does not seem to be his thing.
Sigmund Brock (American Dragon: Jake Long): We don't know if he exists but even if he does, his previous inventions are too different from this. And he could be considered a villain by some, so he's out.
Bruno Carelli (Ms. Marvel): We don't know if he exists and though he's probably more than capable of inventing such an item, he doesn't have a motive so he's out.
Bug (Future Worm): We don't know if they exist and they don't have the motive. He's out.
Taurus Bulba (Darkwing Duck): No clue if he exists, he's a villain, and doesn't have the motive. He's out.
Bungo (Jungle Junction): No clue if he exists, he doesn't seem capable of inventing such a thing, and has no motive. He's out.
Commander Buck Burpelson (Quack Pack): Doesn't have the motive, might not exist, and doesn't seem to have the need for such a device, so he's out.
Capricious Harmony (Disney Kingdoms series Figment 2): She's capable but doesn't have a motive for such an invention and might not exist, so she's out.
Captain Nemo (20,000 Leagues Under the Sea): He may he capable but might not exist in descendants and has no motive, so he's out.
Dr. Marcus Garvey Carver II (The Proud Family Movie): He's a scientist who experiments in peanut cloning technology. He seems to have no interest in animals or animal related technology. Whether or not he's capable doesn't matter given that and the fact he might not exist in descendants, so he's out.
Jason Chandler (Discovery Bay Chronicles (unaired pilot)): Might not exist and doesn't seem capable of such an invention, nor does he have the proper motive. So he's out.
Chrona and her father (Hidden Worlds): She doesn't seem capable though she does have the motive (i.e the creature but that also marks her out because she would have invented the above device if she was capable of doing so) so she's out. Also we don't know if she exists.
Carlos de Vil (Disney Descendants): He's capable and would have the interest but man was born on the isle and it would have likely been mentioned if he'd invented the item.
Cobby Hugglemonster (Henry Hugglemonster): Might not exist and doesn't seem capable of such a thing due to his young age. Also it's only for humans and animals as far as we know, so that also rules him out.
Curtis (Santa Claus): His whereabouts are unknown, he might not exist in this universe, and we don't have many references for his work. Nor does he have much motive so he's out.
Daedalus (Hercules): He looks down on those he thinks are dumber than him, so he likely wouldn't have invented an item to allow him to talk to animals he would probably think are of lower intellect than him so he's out. But maybe given the time change, maybe he could have changed enough to have created such a thing.
Donald and Douglas Davenport (Lab Rats): They probably don't have the interest after the bionic dog incident even though they're both capable. They might also not exist in this universe, so they're out.
Evelyn Deavor ( incredibles 2): She's capable but she's also a villain and if she exists, is on the isle. So she's out.
Lord Demanitus (Tangled the series): He's probably still dead, so though he'd likely have the interest and be capable of doing so, he's out.
Professor Demens (Kim Possible): Long dead and might not have existed, so he's out. Plus we don't know what he invented, so he's a no.
Professor Dementor (Kim Possible): He's out just because he's a villain. They wouldn't have access to his tech if he did invent it recently and he doesn't have the motive. He might also not exist so he's out.
Dexter Dingus (Mickey Mouse): Criminal and animal, so he's out.
Doc Static (Mickey Mouse): Animal, might not exist, and we don't have much idea of what he invented. So he's out.
Dr. Drakken (Kim Possible): Might not exist. Might be on the isle if he is capable. So he's out unfortunately.
Dreamfinder (Dreamfinders (unproduced)): Might not exist. No frame of reference for his inventions. So he's out.
Dr. Droid (Mighty Ducks): He's a villain and he hates organic life, so no motive. He's out.
Donald Duck, Everett Ducklair, Emil Eagle, Gyro Gearloose, Anna Matronic, and Genialina Edy Son (Mickey Mouse stuff): Animals. Might not exist. They're out.
Little Helper (Ducktales): He's a robot and his inventions don't relate to animals, so he's out.
Thomas Edison: Might not exist in universe and doesn't seem to have the motive.
Egghead (Ant-Man and the Wasp): Might not exist and is probably dead.
Electronique (Kim Possible): they have an interest in electrical stuff, not animals. So that and the question of whether or not they exist has them out. Also a villain.
Eliza Zambi (Zombies): She's capable but lacks the motive and might not exist. So she's out.
Emma Lau (Aaron Stone): Her inventions don't seem to correlate back to animals and she might not exist, so she's out.
Abraham Erskine (Captain America): He's out because he's dead, might not exist in this world, and his inventions don't correlate with animals.
Eureka (Eureka!): She lived during the stone age and might not have been brought to the present or exist, and she might not be capable of inventing this particular item so she's out unless new info comes out
Dr. Fen (Kim Possible): Villain who invents mainly robots and who might not exist. He's out.
Fernanda Pizazzo (Tangled the series): she doesn't seem capable of such a thing and has no strong motive, so she's out.
Benjamin Franklin: Might not exist, is probably dead, and doesn't seem capable and has no motive, so he's out.
Flik (Bugs Life): He doesn't seem capable, plus he's an ant. Even if he exists, how would he get the invention out to the wider public?
Phileas Fogg (Around the World in 80 Days): He's definitely capable but where's the motive and where's the proof of his existence?
Agent G (The Replacements): He's capable but where's the motive, interest, and proof of his existence?
Gary the Gadget Guy (Club Penguin): We have no proof that he's capable, that he exists, and that he has any interest in such an invention, so he's out.
Gibson (Super Robot Monkey Team Hyperforce Go!): He'd probably be capable but where's the motive, interest, and proof of existence? Out.
Gwen Grayson (Sky High): She could be capable but would probably have no interest and again, might not exist and she is probably on the isle if she does due to her villain status. Out.
Green Goblin (Spiderman): He's a villain, probably doesn't exist, and he has no motive for such a thing. Out.
Goldie L. Locks (Goldie & Bear): She's capable but she can already talk to bears so there's not much motive, if she exists that is. She's out.
Grumio (Babes in Toyland): He works mainly with toys so he's probably not capable of inventing such a thing. If he exists that is. Out.
Gusto Gummi (Adventures of the Gummi Bears): I have no clue if he'd be capable of such a thing but there's no big motive for this. So he's out.
Gwen (Sofia the First): She's capable, sure, but her inventions seem to be centered around mainly music, cooking, and cleaning. Lacking motive, so she's out.
Geegaw Hackwrench and Gadget Hackwrench (Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers): Maybe they're capable if they exist, but their inventions rule them out due to lack of similarity or motive.
He who remains (Loki): Probably doesn't exist and motivate is lacking. He's out.
Hulk (Marvel): Probably doesn't exist and motivate is lacking. He's out.
Honey Lemon (Big Hero Six): She works mainly with chemicals, so she's out on that alone.
Dr. Bunsen Honeydew (Muppets): He probably doesn't exist and due to his history with his inventions, he's not likely to be capable of such an invention.
Ironman (Marvel): Capable but would he show interest in such an invention and probably doesn't exist? He's out.
Iron heart (Marvel): same reason as above.
Icarus (Hercules): I don't know if he'd be capable of such an invention and due to lack of other inventions to compare to, he's out.
Johan (Frozen): Worked mainly on windmills, so he's out.
Queen Iduana (Frozen): Worked mainly on windmills, so she's out.
Ling-Ling Johnson (Guilty Party): She may be capable but due to my lack of knowledge about her inventions, I can only assume they relate to her parents' detective work. So she's lacking motive and that boots her out.
Jumba Jookiba and Dr. Hämsterviel(Lilo and Stitch): They worked mainly on illegal genetic experiments and weapons, so they rules them out on this particular invention even if they are capable inventors.
June Chen (The Ghost and Molly McGee): She's capable but she's only worked on Ghost hunting stuff, so she's out.
Kang the Conqueror (Marvel): Lack of motivation, might not exist, and would probably be on the isle if he did, so he's out.
Harley Keener (Marvel): His inventions don't relate to animals or language at all, he doesn't seem to have any interest in animals, and he might not exist, so he's out
Aldrich Killian (Marvel): He's a villain, his inventions don't relate to animals, and he doesn't seem interested in them at all, so he's out if he does exist.
Maximus the Mad (Marvel): Probably doesn't exist and the invention doesn't seem like his type of thing. So he's out.
Lady Octopus (Spiderman): She's capable but has a lack of motive and might not exist, not to mention she worked mainly on robotics. So she's out.
Cassie Lang (Ant-Man): same reason as above.
Lenore Shimamoto (Big Hero 6): She's dead, didn't show anyone her inventions which didn't relate to animals, and seems more interested in chrystanthemums if she did exist, so she's out.
Leo Callisto (Miles from Tomorrowland): He might not exist and I don't know much about his inventions, so he's out unless I get more information.
Lexington (Gargoyles): He's a gargoyle, might not exist, and I don't know enough about his inventions, so he's out unless I get more information.
Lickspittle (Maleficent: Mistress of Evil): He's definitely on the isle for what he did to those fairies and probably wouldn't have interest in this invention, he's out.
Mad Doctor (The Mad Doctor): He's dead and if he wasn't, he'd be on the isle for the experiments he did on animals. I also don't think he's capable of such a thing.
Mr. McHenry (Kim Possible): He works with lasers, not animals and might not exist. So he's out.
Mechanicles (Aladdin): it'd turn into a weapon if he'd made it, he's out.
Merlin Jones (The Misadventures of Merlin Jones): He works with hypnosis, so he's out.
Merriweather Adam Pleasure (Pleasure Island): He created stuff that was fun, sure, but I don't think this kind of thing is up his alley. Plus he's long dead at this point even if he did exist and was capable of this.
Moon Girl (Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur): Doesn't seem her type of invention and she might not exist, so she's out until I get further proof that she could be capable and would invent such a thing.
Mr. Woodbird (Tiny Ones Transport Service): He's an animal and might not exist, and this doesn't seem this kind of thing, so he's out (unless I get further proof).
Could:
Bob (Puppy Dog Pals): He's both capable, has an interest in animals, and not a villain, so he's a good candidate.
Captain Brieux (The Island at the Top of the World): We don't know if he exists but he's eccentric, a decent inventor, and he has a pet poodle, so he probably could invent something like this and does have the motive.
Searcher Clade (Strange World): He's a farmer, so he had the motive and he seems more than capable of inventing such a thing so he's a good candidate.
Clyde Cosgrove (Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers): He seems capable with some help and he has the motive, and is not a villain so he's a good candidate.
Leonardo di ser Piero da Vinci (many movies): He's been in many disney movies, so he likely exists. He could very well have made the blueprints/thought up the idea though he's very unlikely to have built the invention himself.
Heinz Doofenshmirtz (Phineas and Ferb): Has the motive, is capable, and he could have given his daughter his inventions if he got sent to the isle. Question is, does he exist?
Drosselmeyer: He has the motive and might be capable though he's not too likely given he specifically likes creating toys.
Edgar "E" Gore and Victor Frankstien (Frankenweenie): Assuming they're not on the isle, they're more than capable and given their love of animals, they have the proper motive.
Ferb and Phineas Fletcher (Phineas and Ferb): I don't really need to say anything. If they exist, they're definitely capable of this invention.
Graham Pudowski (Ron's Gone Wrong): He could be capable and has the motive. If he exists, he's a good candidate.
Hiro Hamada (Big Hero 6): He is more than capable of inventing such a thing, he wouldn't be on the isle if he exists, and he has a cat. That's motivation enough. Possible candidate.
Princess Isabella Castillo Flores (Elena of Avalor): She seems capable of it, she likes animals, and her family has magic on their side, so maybe it made her realize that the animals around her COULD be sentient enough to communicate with. Possible candidate (if you know what she invented and disagree let me know, the wiki didn't tell me anything about her inventions).
Prince Jin (Sofia the first): He seems capable and,due to the talking Panda incident, he has the proper motive to WANT to make such a thing (if you know what he invented and disagree let me know, the wiki didn't tell me anything about his inventions). Possible candidate.
Lewis Robinson (Meet The Robinsons): His inventions are different enough from one another that he could have interest in inventing such a thing. Plus his family has a T-Rex and possibly other pets, so maybe he did invent it (if he exists). Possible candidate.
Maurice (Beauty and the Beast): Maurice is a competent inventor and he's somewhat eccentric. He also has a horse and maybe a cat if you include the cat (and other concept characters), so he has motive. And we know he exists since Belle does. Possible candidate.
Old Man (Fiddleford Hadron) McGucket (Gravity Falls): He's capable, seems to like animals, and is eccentric enough that it's highly possible he'd invent this if he exists.
Charles Muntz (Up): Probably on the isle if they bothered to bring him back but maybe they used his collar that Dug still has to manufacture more. So he's the strongest confidant.
I'm going to end on him, since he did invent something almost exactly like this.
But if anyone wants more options, here's where you can find them:

One Dress a Day Challenge
March: Pink Redux
Emma (1972) / Doran Godwin as Emma Woodhouse
Emma wears this ermine-trimmed pink cloak to the Christmas party that ends with the supremely awkward carriage ride home with Mr. Elton. It also graced the cover of the VHS tape I used to have of this program.
The cloak appears to have what's known as a calash hood, with some sort of stiffening to make it stand up. They were developed in the 18th century to protect the tall hairstyles that were in fashion at the time. The ermine trim makes it look luxurious and also is a simple enough design to stand out even on a small television screen.

deven rue is am,azing and I love what matt's been able to do w/dwarvenforge, but there's something about those early hand-drawn maps, man
I love the repeating what matt's saying as he says it
just because I saw discourse in the comments: keyleth saying scanlan can ride her into town, scanlan reacting...as scanlan does: flirtatious, not overtly sexual, is in character for scanlan, and (most importantly), marisha plays back ("every time, scanlan...") the "half-chub" comment: out of left field, unrelated to anything anyone said, stated out of character, doesn't apologize/doubles down when multiple parties are clearly uncomfortable
that's it, that's the difference
"I've become austin powers"
"the golden snitch wins again" "that may be its name now"
"centerpiece of this area called the sun tree" oh. oh no.
ZOMBIE VAMPIRE GIANTS
"I miss pike"
scanlan leaves his giant stein as a marker for where keyleth is
taser arrow
I now know why matt pretending not to know thundercats is funny
"maybe grog reinforces [keyleth's spiderweb] hammock with rope" "nope, this is a trust exercise"
"sorry I brought it up, I'd love for you to fall on your head"
95% sure liam pointed out to laura that taliesin said "whitecastle"
“vampires hate the sun” me, immediately:
Tumblr media
"we're not religious people, we can't summon gods willy-nilly" stares into the camera
"we could try cutting the bodies down and running and see what happens"
"known as a lemon party" "that festival takes place on the continent of Tubgirl, region of Goatse" extremely excited for the babies watching this for the first time to google that series of references
"I need a beret"
"fucking gravity"
taliesin bouncing up and down with his hand up
scatlan!!
taliesin twigged to what was happening with the tree first
sam: is mine at least handsome matt: it is a literal child sam:

hi aquaman!

Big and Bad | Halloween | [ Wolf!Ubbe x Little Red!Reader ]
Tumblr media
❛ pairing | wolf!ubbe x little red riding hood!reader
❛ type | almost one shot
❛ summary | oh, you knew you shouldn’t you knew you couldn’t-- but what if you did?
❛  tags | anthro!themes, sexual overtones but i couldn’t be bothered to fuck, slightly dark ubbe? not really it’s in his nature, little red riding hood redux, easily distracted reader, gluttonous hvitserk.
❛ sy’s notes | it’s slightly musical in quality given my class in fairytales. i wouldn’t think too much into trying to justify little red’s actions, it’s sort of a trope in fairytales.
Tumblr media
You know the way to Granny’s house.
It was along the same old cobblestone trail with its same old straight edge path into the forest. No fun divots, no flirting with anyone to see. It was less than a day’s journey if you could ever manage to keep your distracted mind straight; that was.
But there were bouncy bright red flowers along the way, ones that you’d talk to, given the chance. Today, you gave into that chance, skipping with your skirt slapping down your legs until you kneeled before them in leathery laced sandals among a patch of green, green grass.
“There’s a wolf in the woods,” said the first red rose. The second bounced into tension; her roots straining the plush green around her spine. “There’s a big bad wolf in the woods!”
The first two always incited the group, “The big bad wolf! The big bad wolf!”
“Who is to say there is a big bad wolf?” you said. “Maybe he is a good big wolf.”
“No no, no no,” the roses chimed. “Ubbe is a big bad wolf, a big bad wolf prowling the woods!”
Under normal circumstances, the roses were chipper to the excess peels of fruit you’d litter around their spines at the base of the grass. As you gathered up the peels among fresh, hot bread and a pat of bundled butter, you knew that they were afraid of something. Of course, something for flowers could be nothing for humans.
“Oh! You’re overreacting. Ubbe is a good wolf,” you told them. Squealing and receding, the flowers laxed. ”Little flowers?” Quiet as a stone in the pit of the forest, you set the peels about their feet when you felt heavy breath beating against the blood red ribbon on your neck.
“Little red,” the big bad wolf finely said. “Off to Grandmother’s again?”
You hopped up onto your sandals and patted down your gown. You tugged your corset finely down. The wolf stretched out his limbs and claws and stood at length, twisted legs and furry tail, flapping in the dull wind. You nod, stupidly against your mother Aelswith’s words.
“Grandmother Judith is sick in the deep dark woods.”
He turns his face toward the straight road; one of pins, so they said. You never knew the wolf to be a big bad wolf, maybe he was a misunderstood wolf. Then again, with his long claws tipped in red, like the ruddy long braid that slapped down his back, maybe he could be a big bad wolf. “Which road will you take?”
Your tongue smoothed over plush red lips.
“The one of needles,” you answered; not taking the one most traveled, nor the one your mother told you. The one of needles; winding slow through the forest, too slow for any good girl to take. You’d amble through the forest at your own pace.
Who needed your mother anyway?
“Then I’ll take the one of pins,” he said, his wicked smile moving in a curl.
He did so love a hunt.
Tumblr media
A big bad wolf living in the woods had to have a little wolf to win what’s meant to be won. Ubbe tracked the short-lived trail across from the opening of the woods; to the deep of the woods where his little wolf ate bones and guts.
“Hvitserk, get up,” Ubbe called to the little golden-brown wolf. Hvitserk, rolling on his back, stood up curiously without his bone in hand. His little brother was a hungry wolf; with a hunger that could never be filled at any time. A hungry wolf; in another sense, his little hine.
“There’s a cabin at the edge of the woods.”
“At the edge of the woods?” Hvitserk asked, “The widow’s cabin?”
“That’s it; with an old hag inside.”
“Old Queen Judith?” Hvitserk trilled, clawing at his small line of hair dripping down his stomach into his thatch of thick hair. Ubbe swats his hand, leaving bright red makes on the side.
“That’s the maid inside. You can gobble her up; if you’ll keep Bjorn busy outside.”
Fat as he was, old blood was bad blood and he knew his brother’s old mind. He’d bother with Hvitserk until the sunset outside. “You’re on the hunt,” Hvitserk noticed at once. It was stupid of Hvitserk, Ubbe thought. He’s always on the hunt for something new.
Princess-- is a taste he hasn’t had yet.
Tumblr media
The sun has set behind the thicket of trees past your father’s castle. You don’t look back, not now and not often anyway, as busy as Father was. No hunting to be held on a day where love with Aelswith was to beheld. So you moved through the tall trees and curious concerned animals. Past warning flowers bouncing and brooding: turn back! This isn’t the right road!
But of course, it was the right road; it let you think with an open mind. Back to the wolf who stomped around the wicked forest where your grandmother’s cottage. Peeking through the brambles and tearing up your little hood, you at last found the little cobblestone cottage that night.
Rap, rap. Your knuckles clacked the oaken door.
“Hello? Grandmother? Let me in!”
“Come in,” rumbles, and rasps, and growls a not-so-grandmotherly voice behind the door. Your hands wound around the sheening golden knob and pulled open the busted lock. The door falls heavy behind your back, thick with a wolf’s heady musk inside.
“Grandmother?” you say; and know it’s a lie, there’s no grandmother waiting deep inside. So you set your picnic basket down and unlace your cut up little hood, shaking a thorn or two loose. You settle the bread by jars of slick and thick red blood. Raspberry jam does look so much like blood. “Grandmother are you there?”
“In the back room.”
Should you stay, should you go? You pluck up your gown, stepping around puddles of red, but not making a sound. You pounced over dark stains and touched the curtain of a door. Oh you do so know there’s a monster lying in wait but your belly titillates for just a little more. You draw the weighty red curtains out of your eye; encounter the fearful sight of the wolf sitting on the bed very much alive.
“Oh!” you cup your hand over your ruby red lips. “What big ears you have.”
The wry smile overtakes his face; as if he knows what you know. Your cheeks warm over in soft heat, drawing your finger over your chin; you move closer. Your sandals push up the floorboards in creak, creak, creak.
“The better to hear you with,” he musters. Still as a stone in the forest. His tail thwaps, the only marker of movement in a sodden room. You muster up more.
“What big eyes you have.”
He turns his head now, his darkened claws at his hip, drawing your attention to his naked chest. The ruddy brown hair trailing from his belly button to a pair of neatly constructed trousers; nothing is for naught on the big, bad wolf. Your eyes snap to, catching the big bad wolf in his act; his eyes are wrapped by a thin film of blue where his iris should be. Oh, he watches!
“Better to see you with.”
“What a big… teeth you have,” you moisten your lips and grip your skirt. A step closer and then another, and you’re before him. He’s the source of a heavy musk. One that isn’t as light as the sweet little wolf that you fed muffins to. It’s raw and wrong and right.
He’s silent then, but the wide smile parts to expose his angular canines. He moistens his lips. Oh that you couldn’t hear what haughty nothings he had to say, the better to taste you with.
Ask it, the wolf whispers. His fingers fall from his waist to fiddle with the fine lining of your corset. Your chest rises with dry air. Ubbe, the very big bad wolf indeed, rose his hand up to the expanse of your breast. His claws cut a clumsy and purposeful line across your chest. “O-oohh. Wha… what big hands you have.”
“Better to catch you with.”
And with that you jerk back, he jerks forward. His harsh hand drew you against the bloody wall, pressuring your throat, stripping the silent air from your soft throat. And god; the growing pressure of his claws compressing your neck-- it’s good. You struggle with his hand for air, drawing your nails on top of his long claws. The big bad wolf; the big bad wolf; you’ve been caught by the big bad wolf.

Tumblr media
Hey hey Sterek Fans! Today is the day that we announce our 2019 Sterek Week Schedule!! Without further ado, here’s the theme schedule for this year’s Sterek Week!
Friday October 25th- Mystery: Who doesn't love a good mystery? Be it a serious murder mystery, a film noir, or just wondering who stole the last cookie, we ask you to get creative and give us a mystery to solve! .. Or, for Stiles and Derek to solve, or even for someone else to solve ABOUT Stiles and Derek, really, we're not picky, as long as there's a mystery element, you've got this covered!
Saturday October 26th- Lyrics and Quotes: This is one theme that can truly, easily bridge across any fanwork medium with ease, be it a video set to music, a songfic, graphics covered in quotes, or art inspired by lyrics, let your imagination run free with any words that inspire you! They can be dark, light, romantic, angsty, from fiction or real life, there are no limits, and CERTAINLY feel free to include more than one if you’re so inspired!
Sunday October 27th- Outdoors: Ah the great outdoors... or.. not so great, if you're in the world of Teen Wolf- the outdoors can be a source of relaxation and joy, from running through the woods to looking at the stars... or horror and tragedy, from finding a dead body to getting chased by hunters, you can use any type of genre or tone you want to portray this one, just as long as the outdoors are heavily featured!
Monday October 28th- Movie Night: Possibly the most relaxing experience, it's time to let Stiles and Derek off the hook from terror and give them a movie night! .. Unless that movie night INDUCES terror, also possible... October in particular is a great season for movie watching, with the cold just beginning and all sorts of things airing for Halloween, from cutesy kid flicks to terrifying horror movies, time to have a night in and enjoy a movie!
Tuesday October 29th- Scene Stealer: Take a scene, any scene, from any show/book/movie, and Sterek it! Do Stiles and Derek have to stop Thanos from getting the Infinity Gauntlet? Maybe Stiles is an exceptional assassin… with an exceptional desire for Detective Derek Hale? Do the two of them take part in the annual Purge? Or maybe they both want to save the world of their favorite virtual reality? Maybe someone can fix that Bleach redux, if you’ve ever thought “Hey this scene would have been SO much better with Sterek..” then this is the theme for you!
Wendsday October 30th- Canon Highlights: We know, we know, canon can be a fickle beast, and we all have things about it that we don't like... but we all have things about that we DO like as well, otherwise, we never would have gotten into Sterek in the first place! If it weren't for canon, Stiles and Derek never would have existed, and there's certainly something to be said for the show that created a couple- even if it didn't canonize them- that's endured so strong for so long, it's time to pay tribute to the birthplace of this ship and highlight your favorite moment from canon! Or modify a moment, that's fine too! Choose a moment that made you fall in love with Sterek and draw it out, or a moment that you wished had MORE Sterek and write your version of what should have happened, all that matters is that the scene in question originated from canon
Thursday October 31st- Halloween: Our last day this year is my personal favorite day of every year: Halloween!! From ghoulies and ghosties and long-legged beasties, let your love for Sterek rule the night! The best part of Halloween themes is that you can use the actual holiday as Halloween for your theme- picking out costumes, trick or treating, and carving pumpkins, or you can just use what Halloween REPRESENTS- the celebration of all things magic, haunted, and living in the shadows, or hey, you can always combine it! You could also mix Halloween mythologies and modern day Halloween, maybe something special happens to werewolves on Halloween, maybe the Hales have always had a history of Halloween parties and some wicked pixies take over, maybe Stiles goes to the woods as Little Red Riding Hood and his Big Bad Wolf is waiting there for him… this may be the end of Sterek Week this year, but mark my words, as long as there is Halloween, there will be Sterek Week!
We’re so excited to announce these themes, and even more excited to see your work in October! Now that the themes are here, it’s time to start your engines, and gear up for Sterek Week 2019!!

How does he show and/or handle: Naturally skittish(and a bit naive)in the beginning, he can only love deeply with the right people and can show it in a more non-traditional fashion(love), Doesn’t blurt out “I love you” as easily, but as mentioned he shows his love in an unconventional and loyal manner(affection), Will often act in either an uncontrolled manner, or will act emotionally distant as he tries to deal with grief in his own way(grief), Tries to act nonchalant/pretend that he’s fine, usually keeping his behavior under wraps as to not worry people(pain), While tolerant of many things, when angered he can be sharp with words and often tends to avoid a confrontation with those who he is angry with(anger), Has an emotional shutdown and ends silent and uneasy, often trying to isolate himself and be alone(sadness), While he’s more inclined to avoid confrontation as a whole, that doesn’t mean that when pushed he won’t hesitate to get his hands dirty to make a point(conflict), He’s pretty casual and open about it, often wanting to take the path of changing for the better(change), Not really open to discussion how he feels when dealing with loss, instead either trying to make minor changes to his life or opting to wait so that he can feel when he is ready to talk(loss)
Does he have a temper: To frightening levels, releasing his emotion in sharp, sudden bursts seemingly out of nowhere as well as being harsh and cold to an extent
How does he respond to the surrounding world, the ‘unfamiliar,’ and other people in general: To be honest, he reacts to both the surrounding world and the 'unfamiliar' with confusion and a bit of fear due to the unknown factors and what has changed from the norm. However, he will at least make an effort to better understand and try to get used to it all. As for other people in general, if he doesn't know them personally, he can come off as a bit rude and sarcastic towards them and it might take a while for him to get properly acquainted with them.
Polite or rude: If it's with people he doesn't know personally, he can come off as rude towards them due to being unsure of them. However, around people that he knows, he is sociable, a bit dorky, and witty.
What kind of ‘public’ face does he display: His public face is mostly neutral(tired-looking) or a small smile, only reacting whenever the situation calls for it.
What is his sexual preference/experience/values: He is bisexual but has yet to engage sexually. He values not only a mental connection, but also honesty and independence, wanting both him and his significant other to be comfortable and share their lives with one another
-History/Background-
Setting: NewDugWood, a small town located in New Jersey. Lives in a shared two-bedroom apartment space with Terry, Kris, and Philomena on Summerset Road
Occupation: Works Full-Time as a Graphic Designer at Iris Stellar Design, LLC and Part-Time as a Freelance Artist
Educational background/other learning experiences: College Graduate- Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies with a Minor in Fine Arts
Intelligence Level: 109 in IQ Points
Family: Nora(mom), Takuji(dad), Ashlynn(older sister), Natsumi(twin sister), Ruri(niece), Xander(brother-in-law)
Friends: Kris Monroe- Both Dylan and Kris' relationship has been shaped by the two of them having met as children. Both of them care deeply about one another, to the point that people often think they're dating, not helped by their flustered confusion and responses that make everyone else truly believe so. Occasionally, or pretty much all the time, the two worry about one another's safety, which usually ends up with the two often arguing about whats best, though thankfully the two of them make up rather quickly. Terry Weber- Similar to Kris, both Dylan and Terry had met as children, with Dylan showing an interest in Terry's inventions and ideas. Often at times, when Terry's inventions fail at times, Dylan is there to cheer him up. While Terry is far more cautious when it comes to danger, being the complete opposite of Dylan, Terry still remains loyal, to the point that he'll go into danger himself to protect Dylan/his other friends. Philomena Hawthorne- Like both Kris and Terry, both Dylan and Philomena met as children... though their meeting was a little less on friendly terms. The two of them are very vitriolic/belligerent with one another, which tends to confuse people on if they really care about each other. However, if one was to take a deep, deep look into their odd friendship, they would see that the two of them do look out for each other through thick and thin, always comforting one another in their own, special way.
-Combat-
Physical Strength: He can deliver hard punches and kicks to his opponents, barely giving them room to fight back
Coordination/Reflexes: He’s able to move quickly when defending and when fighting as well, as he always trying to deliver fast punches and kicks
Fighting Style: Kickboxing
Unusual Abilities/Powers: Energy Arts, Energy Infusion, Ergokinetic Combat, Energy Regeneration, Peak Human Strength, Peak Human Agility, Peak Human Metabolism, Hand-to-Hand Combat, Sarcasm Mastery, Killing Intent, Mind Wipe Resistance, Control Immunity(sometimes;via amulet), Endurance, Anger Empowerment/Aggressiokinetic Combat, Gauntlet Proficiency

A Knight Affair: Redux - Play me a tune
https://archiveofourown.org/works/21474193
The carriage ride from the palace to town was a rather quiet one with Yellow constantly glancing out the covered windows and Pink sitting across from her and Blue, quiet and contemplative.
“You don’t seem very excited about the festival, Rosaline.” Blue finally broke the oppressive silence in the carriage. “You’ve been a bit withdrawn lately I’ve noticed as well.” She frowned.
“Hmm?” The nineteen year old princess blinked, eyes focusing on her sister. “Oh, it’s fine, Blue. I just, I don’t know.” She shrugged. “I’ve just been feeling… lonely as of late, I guess.” She admitted, trying not to worry her.
After what had happened to their mother, both of them tended to get a little antsy when there was a personality shift in the other.
The knight finally took her eyes off the window to look at the teen sitting across from her.
"You're constantly surrounded by people." She cocked a brow at the princess.
"Servants and guards don't count. I need someone I can actually have a conversation with, not just tell me what I want to hear." She sighed, leaning back in her seat, head resting on the wall.
"As opposed to how your sister and I spend most of our days?" The knight captain questioned, crossing her arms over her chest and looking at the girl questioningly.
"It’s not the same, Yellow. You and Blue have each other to talk to.” She huffed.
Blue laid a hand on the knights knee as the two glanced at each other, they couldn’t deny that.
“I will try and think of a way in which we could get you around more people your own age.” Blue promised making the teen smile.
“Safely.” Yellow added. “For now, let’s just try and get through this festival.” Yellow mumbled, looking back out the window.
“Why do you hate fun?” Pink asked, blinking at the knight. A grin broke out on her face when she turned to glare at her.
“I do not hate fun.” She scowled at the princess.
“You kind of do.” Pink teased. “I watched you break up that game of hide and seek outside the stables last week and chase the children off.” She pointed out.
“They were spooking the horses.” The knight explained simply, frowning.
“I think you just don’t like it when people enjoy themselves. We all have to be as serious as you.” She lowered her voice and furrowed her brow, doing a poor imitation of the knight captain.
“Having fun is not allowed on palace grounds.” The princess imitated, scowling like the knight often did.
Blue watched the exchange, amused until she saw the protruding vein begin to pop out of the knight’s neck. A sign that things were about to become very heated if she didn’t step in.
“That’s enough.” She silenced her sister and squeezed the knights leg comfortingly. “Yellow doesn’t hate fun. She’s just very…” She paused, searching for the right word.
“Humorless? Severe? Ridgid?” Pink guessed with an ever widening grin.
“Deliberate…” Blue frowned, giving the girl a warning look that she would be remiss to ignore. Meanwhile Yellow was fuming, arms crossed tightly over her chest and jaw clenched.
Pink only smiled but heeded the silent warning, saying nothing else as they pulled into the town, the festivities already in full swing. The carriage was pulled into a hidden area behind some tents.
Pink wasted no time flipping up the hood of her cloak and jumping out the moment they had stopped. She already had plans for fixing her other problem, and they were here at the festival.as nothing to be done about her other problem so she might as well enjoy the festival.
Blue and Yellow followed behind her, the latter still looking agitated as they pulled their cloak hoods up.
“I’m going to check out the merchant booths.” She said, walking off without a second glance.
“Follow her.” The captain commanded the guard who had been driving the carriage. With a nod he trotted off after his temporary charge.
“Are you still upset with what she said?” Blue asked, clasping her hands at her waist as she glanced sidelong at her personal guard.
“Of course not.” She grunted, turning her head.
“You certainly seem upset…” Blue wanted to reach out and take hold of her hand but they were out in public now.
“I’m not, I’m just surprised that you didn’t seem to exactly disagree with her.” She crossed her arms and Blue’s mouth fell open in a silent ‘o’.
“I don’t think you hate fun!” She insisted, turning to the knight.
“But you don’t think I’m fun either, do you?” Yellow countered. Blue hesitated. “You don’t.” She concluded with a grimace, turning her face away, the hood, blocking her eyes from Blue.
“You’re not the most sporadic or… jolly person.” The queen had to tentatively agree with a frown. “You’re….”
“Deliberate” The knight repeated what she had said earlier, looking unimpressed.
Blue pursed her lips, anyone could tell the knight was agitated, but she knew her better, and could tell that she was actually hurt by this.
"Aurelia…" she started, wanting to reach out and touch her but was very aware of where they were.
She wished they were back at the palace, where she could properly assure her, but some people had noticed their arrival. It would have to wait.
"This conversation is not over, darling." She said quietly before walking toward the town center, brushing against Yellow as she went. A silent reassurance.
The knight followed dutifully, but still not looking happy.
Pink was well aware of the guard trailing several feet behind her, trying to stay close but also give her her space and not appear like he was following her and blow her cover.
Today she just wasn't interested in being hovered over. She glanced over her shoulder to see where he was before cutting to the right and dashing behind a row of carts. He wouldn’t dare call out after her in the crowded market.
The clanging of armor told her he was giving chase , but she knew that he’d never catch her.
She dove and weaved between every cart and stall, ducking into a nearby ally at the last minute, back pressed flat against the stone.
The loud sound or armor clanking together grew louder and louder, then, eventually faded away and Pink grinned to herself as she peaked out from behind the stone wall.
He was gone.
She took off past the merchant booths to her real destination. She weaved through the crowd, following the ever growing sound of music.
She pushed through some brightly colored hanging banners and came out into an open area full of people and musicians roaming about.
Scanning the crowd she quickly found what she was looking for.
She hurried across the square, sidestepping the merchants holding up there wares and shouting prices at every passerby.
Once close enough, she pounced, wrapping her arms around her prey.
“Whoa!”
She giggled, swinging around to face her surprised quarry.
“Hi, Greggory.” She grinned brightly at the shocked minstral.
“Rose!” The young man grinned once the shock wore off, arms wrapping around her waist.
“Did you miss me?” She asked, before pressing a kiss to his cheek.
“O-of course I did.” He mumbled, face turning red.
“Tell me all about it!” Pink bounced up and down on her toes. “What were the coastal villages like? Did people like your music?” She tugged him over to some wooden tables where they could sit. He chuckled, letting himself be dragged along.
“They were beautiful, the sun setting on the ocean was amazing, all different shades of red and yellow and orange.” He described, plucking at his lute.
“I wish I could have seen it.” Pink sighed. ‘What about your music? Did people love it?”
“Oh… uh, they certainly heard it…” He chuckled nervously, scratching the back of his head.
“I’m sure it was wonderful, Greggory.” Pink smiled reassuringly at him.
“Thanks, Rose.” He smiled.
“Will you play me something?” She asked, pressing her palms together in a pleading motion.
“Sure. I haven’t quite figured out the lyrics for this yet, but the music is great.” He held up the lute, stopping just to flip some of his long hair out of his face before he started plucking at the strings and humming along to the notes.
A slow lilting melody that made the girl sigh. He played a long while.
She wasn’t certain how long they sat there, till all of a sudden she was being yanked up.
“Rose!” Greggory jumped up, but stumbled backward as a guards sword was leveled at him.
“Yellow!” The princess hissed as the knight captain yanked her up by the arm, looking non to pleased, neither did Blue standing at her side. She yanked her arm out of the warrior’s grip.
“What were you thinking, running off on your guard, Rosaline?” Blue scolded, making Pink flinch, it wasn’t often Blue was the one getting onto her these days, but she looked almost as furious as Yellow.
“Rosaline?” Greggory repeated, catching the princess’ eyes. She flushed, looking away. Perhaps she hadn’t been as forth coming with the bard as she’d let him believe.
“Were returning to the palace.” Yellow ordered, turning without waiting for an answer.
“What? I…”  She started.
“Now, Rosaline.” Blue turned her angry cerulean gaze to her. She glanced at the shocked bard once more before reluctantly following Blue and Yellow back to the carriage, the other guard trailing behind once it was clear Greggory wouldn’t follow.
The ride back was a tense one. It was apparent that her sister was none to pleased with her choices, if that cool tone that was normally reserved for the throne room was anything to go by.
“I can’t believe you would be so irresponsible, Pink. If something had happened to you…” She trailed off, pressing her fingers to her furrowed brow with a sigh.
“I know… I’m sorry.” She mumbled, looking down at the carriage floor. It was silent for a long moment before Blue pulled her hand away and was looking at her again.
“Who was that boy?”
Pink’s eyes shot up, cheeks darkening.
“His name is Greggory.” She mumbled. “He’s a traveling minstrel, he was with that troop that played at the last ball you threw.
“That was six months ago.” The queen cocked a brow.
“We’ve… kept in touch.” She admitted shyly, missing Blue’s surprised look. “He plays the most beautiful music…” She smiled, but it was short lived as Blue spoke up.
“You like this boy.” It wasn’t a question. Pink turned a brighter red.
Yellow sighed angrily.
“Do you even know anything at all about this boy? Considered that he may just want something from you?”
“I never told him who I was, I told him I was just a noble’s daughter and he would never do that!” She defended the bard. “I shouldn't have ran away from the guard but…” The knight cut her off.
“You’re right, you shouldn’t have! If someone had recognized you you could have been seriously hurt or abducted!!” Yellow scowled as they pulled to a stop back on the palace grounds.
“Sometimes I think that would be preferable to you always hovering over me, sucking all the joy out of everything!” Pink yelled, shocking the carriage into silence.
Blue blinked between the two, eyes wide and Pink looked as shocked at herself as they did.
“I…” Pink started.
Without a word Yellow stood and exited the carriage without making a single sound. Neither woman made to stop her.
Blue sighed, drawing the princess’ ashamed gaze.
“We both know very well that Aurelia can be a little tightly wound...” She started, folding her hands in her lap. The simmering anger and disappointment was apparent in her rigid posture. “But you know very well that she cares for you dearly and everything she does is for both your and my protection. That was very uncalled for, Rosaline.”
“I know… I’m sorry.” She looked down at her scarred hands.
“It is not me you should be apologizing too.” Blue said as she stood and exited the carriage, leaving Pink alone.
~ ~ ~ ~
Pink took her evening meal in her room, still too ashamed to face Blue and especially Yellow. She sighed to herself, flopping back on her bed.
Now not only were Blue and Yellow both upset with her but now Greggory knew who she was and that she hadn’t been telling him the truth. She had just messed up all around today.
She groaned covering her face with her hands.
She lay there for a while till something made her pull her hands away.
A sound.
She sat up, straining to listen. The tinkling of musical notes?
A song.
Quiet, with a slow lilting melody that was so familiar to her.
She got up, moving toward her balcony, and the source of the noise.
Looking out over the banister she gasped.
Standing in the grass below her balcony was the bard.
Strumming his lute.
“Greggory!” She hissed quietly. He just grinned and the music came out louder just before he opened his mouth.
“Hold me close and hold me fast,
 this magic spell you cast…”
Pink could only stand in awe as he played.
“When you press me to your heart
I'm in a world apart
A world where roses bloom
And when you speak
Angels sing from above
Everyday words seem
To turn into love songs
everyday words seem to turn into love songs.
Give your heart and soul to me
and life will always be...”
Suddenly a guard tackled him to the ground with a clattering thud.
Yellow and another guard walked up at a more sedate pace, sword drawn, she leveled it on the fallen bard.
“He’s not a danger! What are you doing?!” Pink was screaming down from the balcony.
“Having fun!” The knight quipped, never taking her eyes off the cowering songstrel.
“Yellow!” Pink screeched from her balcony, livid. She quickly vanished from sight.
“Make sure the princess stays in her room until I say otherwise.” The knight captain commanded. The two men at her side saluted before turning and running inside to intercept the heir apparent.
Yellow turned her attention back to the quaking minstrel she had at sword point.
“You are trespassing on royal grounds.” She informed, brows dipping between her eyes in a glare. “I should throw you in the dungeons…” She scowled.
“I’m sorry! I just wanted to see Rose.” He held up his hands, one still clutched tightly around the miraculously unbroken lute.
Yellow eyed the instrument for a long moment before lowering her sword and eyeing him.
“What makes you think you can just waltz onto palace grounds and see anyone you please?” She scowled.
“I…I uh….” He swallowed. He’s heard stories about the infamous knight captain. The queen’s personal guard and a vetran of the Aarde rebellion. “I just wanted to play for her.” He held the lute out in front of him. Part explanation, part shield.
Yellow glared at the boy for an excruciating moment.
“Come with me.” She commanded. Greggory didn’t argue.
As he trailed behind her, Yellow keeping him in her vision in her vision in the corner of her eye.
Pink had made it down the stairs before the two guards had intercepted her. Keeping her from going any further.
“Yellow!” She howled. “I told you he isn’t a threat!” She stomped her foot, furious.
“I decided what is and isn’t a threat. Your Highness.” She said coldly and Pink couldn’t help but flinch. The captain was obviously still hurt by her earlier comments.
“May we speak privately, Captain Stone?” She asked. Yellow stared back for a handful of seconds before turning to her men.
“Take the bard into the ballroom, stay with him.” She ordered and the men jumped to follow it.
Greggory looked a little nervous as he followed them ,throwing Rosaline a look over his shoulder.
“Yellow…” She started once they were alone. “I’m sorry, about what I said earlier. I know you’re just trying to protect us and I don’t always make it easy for you, but I do appreciate everything you do.” She finished, clasping her hands together and worrying the scarred skin together.
“You’re right, you don’t.” Yellow grumbled, making Pink flinch. “But I‘ve grown used to that.” She sighed. “Come along.” She jerked her head and turned to go, Pink followed behind her.
~ ~ ~
Blue huffed to herself as she finally left the throne room for the evening. There was always something to do. She was still surprised that she’d managed to get away for the festival this morning, even if it hadn’t ended up being the lively morning she had hopped with Pink and Yellow riling each other up and if she were honest with herself she hadn't helped the situation, but Yellow and herself both valued honesty in there relationship, so she had told the truth.
Perhaps she should have come up with a different way to say it.
She made her way quickly to her room and was not surprised to see it devoid of the knight captaIn. She pulled the crown from her hair and set it gently on the table by their bed. If Yellow wasn’t here she knew where she would be judging from the slight sounds she could hear through the secret passage that connected their room with the one next to it.
“We need to talk.” Blue began without prompt as she walked into Yellow’s room via the concealed passage from their unofficially shared bedroom. She always hid in her room when they were fighting. Though Blue wouldn’t call this a fight, per say.
Yellow looked up, wide eyed from where she was sitting hunched over on the fainting couch, a lute on her knee.
Blue stopped, blinking at the sight.
Yellow set the instrument behind her, as if the queen hadn’t already seen it.
“Is that a lute?” The queen tilted her head lips twitching upwards.
“Perhaps…” She grumbled. The question on Blue’s face was obvious. Yellow grunted. “Perhaps picking up a new skill will make me more ‘fun’” She mumbled under her breath. Blue sighed, walking over to sit next to the knight.
“May we please speak about that?” She asked. Yellow made a noise in her throat that Blue knew to be reluctant acceptance.
“Pink didn’t mean what she said this morning, you know that and perhaps I was not… tactful enough. I know I hurt your feelings, Aurelia.” She said, laying a hand on the knights knee.
She made another sound, not acknowledging that what Blue said was true but not denying it either.
“Perhaps you’re not fun in the way most people think of the word.” She started gently, taking one of the knight’s hands.
“You are very serious and direct.” She affirmed “...but you care so deeply. I love those things about you and what’s more, others don’t know you like Pink and I do, you’re clever and witty; just because they’ve never seen your sense of levity doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. ” She finished, leaning her head on her shoulder.
The knight grunted and she smiled at the red dusted across her cheeks before leaning up to kiss the warm cheek.
“I caught the boy on the grounds, serenading Pink at her balcony.” She said after a long moment of silence.
That certainly was new.
“However did he get onto the grounds?” She wondered.
“I’ve already interrogated him thoroughly about it, I’ll be fixing that blindspot as soon as the sun rises.” She promised.
“What did you do with him?” She asked, leaning back to look into the knight's eyes.
“He and Pink are in the ballroom… under the supervision of one of my men” was the huffed response, prompting Blue’s eyebrows too shoot up in surprise. “Pink seems… rather fond of him.” She said it almost like it was an afterthought but Blue knew better and smiled.
“Well, we did say we would try and find a way for her to be around people her own age, safely. I suppose we’ll just have to keep an eye on them.” Blue gave a nod before glancing over her shoulder at the instrument laying almost forgotten.
Almost
She reached down and picked it up, fingers toying with the strings.
“Perhaps you can play me a song?” The queen grinned as Yellow’s face turned red once more.

Happy Halloween!!! :)
Here is the redux of my Day of the Dead Little Red Riding Hood characters. The Grandmother barely changed since I always liked her design I drew originally. Every month I’m going to be drawing characters for a new story/theme. This is to help keep my mind fresh and to keep updating my portfolio. Going to stretch my skills and work on props and environments too. These characters have one additional character update that I’ll post later this week after which I’ll be moving on to my next theme for the month of November which I’m thinking will be Peter Pan. :D

PS5 Games: Complete List of Titles for Next-Gen Console
https://ift.tt/eA8V8J
Sony wants to follow-up on the historic success of the PlayStation 4 with its next-gen console, the unsurprisingly named PlayStation 5. With the PlayStation brand stronger than ever before, many people are already predicting that Sony could be in the driver’s seat heading into the next-generation of console gaming.
But that doesn’t mean a thing if you ain’t got those games. Sony will launch the PS5 with both a series of first-party exclusives and many next-gen third-party titles. Could these games be enough to beat out the Xbox Series X’s confirmed list of titles?
Below, you’ll find a breakdown of the launch titles you’ll get on the PS5 as well as the PS4 games you’ll be able to upgrade to their PS5 versions for free and the PlayStation Collections library you can expect to see on day one:
PS5 Launch Games
Here’s the list of all of the next-gen PS5 games you’ll be able to play when the console launches on Nov. 12:
Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla Astro’s Playroom Borderlands 3 Bugsnax Call of Duty: Black Ops – Cold War Demon’s Souls Devil May Cry 5: Special Edition Destiny 2: Beyond Light DiRT 5 Fortnite Godfall Just Dance 2021 Maneater Marvel’s Spider-Man Remastered Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate NBA 2K21 No Man’s Sky Observer: System Redux Planet Coaster: Console Edition Sackboy: A Big Adventure The Pathless Warhammer: Chaosbane – Slayer Edition Watch Dogs Legion
PS4 Games Getting Free PS5 Upgrades
PlayStation players will be able to upgrade select PS4 titles to their PS5 versions free of charge. You’ll be able to do this either with a digital copy of the PS4 title you wish to upgrade (if available for upgrade) or with the PS4 game disc of the title you want to upgrade. Sony has instructions on how to do this here.
Here’s the list of PS4 games you’ll be able to upgrade to their PS5 versions:
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Borderlands 3 Cyberpunk 2077 Dead by Daylight Destiny 2 Dirt 5 Doom Eternal Far Cry 6 FIFA 21 Hitman 3 (Digital Only) Horizon Forbidden West Immortals Fenyx Rising Kena: Bridge of Spirits Madden NFL 21 Maneater Marvel’s Avengers Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom Mortal Kombat 11 RIDE 4 Riders Republic Sackboy: A Big Adventure Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six: Siege The Elder Scrolls Online The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Watch Dogs Legion WRC 9 Yakuza: Like A Dragon
Can You Play PS4 Games on PS5?
The short answer is yes. Almost all of the over 4,000 games available for the PS4 will be compatible with the PS5, including PSVR games if you already own the PSVR headset and PlayStation Camera. You can even transfer digital games, game data, and game saves from your PS4 to the PS5 through LAN, wifi, USB drives, and cloud storage if you’re a PS Plus member. Here’s a breakdown of how that works.
As for how playing PS4 games on a PS5 will improve those experiences, here’s what Sony has to say about that: “Select PS4 titles will see increased loading speeds on the PS5 console, and will also leverage Game Boost, offering improved or more stable frame rates. Some titles with unlocked frame rates or dynamic resolution up to 4K may see higher fidelity. Additionally, PS4 games will also take advantage of some of PS5’s new UX features, but more to come on that later.”
You will, of course, also be able to play PS4 game discs on the PS5.
Some PS4 titles won’t be playable on PS5 at all, but we don’t think these omissions will send you into much of a frenzy. Here’s the list of PS4-only games:
DWVR Afro Samurai 2 Revenge of Kuma Volume One TT Isle of Man – Ride on the Edge 2 Just Deal With It! Shadow Complex Remastered Robinson: The Journey We Sing Hitman Go: Definitive Edition Shadwen Joe’s Diner
PlayStation Collection Launch Games
In addition to the next-gen PS5 launch titles, PS Plus users will also have access to a collection of PS4 titles on the PS5 simply called the PlayStation Collection. Here are the PlayStation Collection games available on PS5 at launch:
Battlefield 1 Batman: Arkham Knight Bloodborne Days Gone Detroit: Become Human Fallout 4 Final Fantasy 15 God of War (2018) Infamous: Second Son Monster Hunter World Mortal Kombat 10 Persona 5 Ratchet and Clank Resident Evil 7 The Last of Us: Remastered The Last Guardian Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Until Dawn
All PS5 Games Confirmed So Far
Finally, here’s a complete list of the confirmed PS5 titles so far. Not all of these games have available release dates, but each has been referred to as a game that will appear on the PS5 at some point.
