The Master/Missy’s perspective on the events in Doctor Who could probably be roughly described as a Reddit post like this:

AITA for not supporting my partner’s conservation efforts?

I (1000M - M standing for Master) have been with my partner (D - 1000) for many years now, we were best friends as children and slowly began drifting apart because of differences in lifestyle and opinions. For context - my partner is passionate about advocating for the rights of a funny little species on Earth, whilst I personally don’t see the point in protecting their species because my partner and I are so much more superior. My partner gets very upset whenever I’ve voiced this opinion, and says that I’m an absolute monster, we’ve had a few fights about this matter (never anything major, we’ve both escaped from the fights as changed people… sometimes quite literally) and sometimes I’ve tried to take an active role in this conservation project by relating to the species or assuming a direct guardian/leadership role to bond with my partner. Unfortunately, despite my best efforts, my partner won’t speak to me, they’re not the person I last spoke to, and I’m actually not the person that my partner last spoke to either - I’ve been experiencing some personal growth (around a foot and two inches) and I want to make things right, but AITA?
