in 2023, most people who know richie tozier know of him as a B-list comedian. but to elder emos and gay young adults on the internet, he's the frontman of shark puppy - a now-mostly-irrelevant pop punk band and former warped tour staple. he's mostly forgotten about his days in shark puppy, until people start to find his 15-year-old livejournal posts that they're speculating are about shark puppy's former tour manager, eddie kaspbrak.

But Richie knew she’d be a huge fucking hypocrite to say that, as she held herself back from the only thing she’d ever truly wanted, frozen in place like an opossum playing dead, as if loving Eddie would kill her. Maybe it would. (or: Eddie Kaspbrak grows up shaped like a boy and molts into a woman. Richie Tozier is there the whole time.)

2024 📝 Year in Review

2024 writing wins:

Wrote my longest fic to date! Turns out everything is possible <3 live laugh love or something.

Got back my love for writing and saw a marked improvement in my outlining and drafting process!

Got more involved in fandom and made some writing friends (hii reddiesance mwah)! I am still bad at this on tumblr, but being on a single discord server with cool people really helps foster that sense of community and is great motivation (and is better for my ADHD than social media

2025 writing goals:

We are DOUBLING DOWN on letting the 1st drafts be shit.

Playing around with genres I like… Comedy, time loops, sci-fi, period pieces! Gen fic and platonic pairings too.

Straight up just #Write #Havefun #Doit. etc etc.

Are you in want of a community of likeminded It-lovers?

Well, I have the PERFECT discord server for you!

(Stefon voice) It’s called The Reddie-sance and it has EVERYTHING.

- Fellow It enjoyers with soap-sud beards having a communal bubble bath

- A place to chat about It (and other interests!) with fellow sickos while saying “Hahaha… YES… Hahaha… YES…”

- Creators (of both fic and art) wearing a barrel and suspenders while creating, and their corresponding gorillas holding shotguns defending them from the millipedes that slowly grow above their heads, as is expected in the creative process

- Plenty of encouragement from normal, NOT replaced-by-pod-people friends in your creative endeavours! We swear! We check pretty often.

While the server was originally created for the Reddiesance event this past September, the party ended five hours ago and we’re still here. As a result, many of us are creators, but it is NOT in any way a requirement!

The only requirement to join, in fact, is that you have to tell me I’m cool and how much you love my fics in order to join. I expect at LEAST 100 words lauding me and my writing. Once I’ve graded your submission, you will receive the link, although it is NOT guaranteed.

But seriously!! If a small, community server full of people as into It (all media types) as you are sounds enticing, DM me whenever for the invite!! No requirements although stroking my ego as the Almighty Grand Emperor of The Server is never really a bad idea < 3

We have a great time chatting and hanging out and creating together, although there’s absolutely no pressure to do any of the aforementioned activities! First and foremost this is The Cool Kids Club Losers Club Hangout < 3 < 3 < 3

2024 writing wins:

posting like literally anything. i dont think my new ituals understand that i literally like.... dont write.... and when i do it is at a SNAILS pace so being able to have 2 (TWO!!!!) full completed fics out this year is like woah.

i think ive probs written AT LEAST 40k words since joining the reddiesance server in like....september????? insane

getting out of my comfort zone ... letting my writing be Perceived by others at least a little bit... letting myself feel more proud rather than Shameful abt writing lol

2025 writing goals:

ermmm.. scratches at the back of neck.... just write more conistently i guess. i want to have the superpower of being able to write On Cue. like crying on cue i want to be able to just put pen to paper

one day i will be stephen king levels of banging out a story in like a week. without the cocaine

probably should start outlining my stories a little. even though i hate outlining with everything in my being.
