Note how they’re both in long sleeves - making them paired up!!

And also note that the red parasol is in between them 👀👀👀

Because Tommy with no sleeves - showing him as different to Buck and Eddie - thus separating him further than just the table does!

But also he’s in red - just like that parasol! He’s literally a red flag coming between Buck and Eddie!!

Just read a fic where Tommy gets with someone right after buck and him break up and whoever wrote that i want you to know I out loud went “is this fucking play about us”

cos do you know how I’ve been making jokes about my grudge against Thomases (and all variations) and me having just dated and been done dirty by a queer dark-blonde tall man with light eyes who’s name was a variation of the name Thomas when 7x04 aired?

For those who didn't hear it the first time, I'll say it again. Sexualizing the trauma brought on by neglectful fathers is gross. Combining sex and a pseudo-father relationship is also messed up. The age gap becomes a bit questionable when they put this into the relationship.

For real, go back and watch season 4 and all the pain that Buck went through when his parents showed back up. Now tell me that it's cool if an older man comes along and sexualizes that hurt. That's not a thing to portray as sexy, it's twisted.

Buck may not be real, but if you weren't born yesterday, you know that media does not exist in a vacuum. What these stories portray and promote affect people.

So Ryan Murphy and the others are not off the hook. They're gonna have to answer to every young woman and man who is tired of seeing their pain and family trauma played off as "kinky" or desirable by older men.

i swear the more i learn about tommy the more excited i am about his friendship with eddie? like this man was in the army just like eddie!!! he worked with helicopters just like eddie!! he's a vet who came home and joined the fire department just like eddie! he likes watching half naked men fight and sports and cars and has a garage big enough to work and do muay thai just like eddie!!!

All the red flags are red flagging and I’m very much here for it! I very much expect tommy to be wearing the same red shirt when Eddie’s there, but we’ll have to wait and see - from the tiny bit of arm we can see in the still it doesn’t look like he’s got a sweater on or anything - but he could have the arms pushed up - we’ll find out soon enough - but even if he does cover up the tank top - that could be symbolic of him hiding himself (masking if you will) which would also be interesting - we just need to see how the scene plays out!

All I know is I’m bouncing with excitement - we’re gonna be winning big I just know it!

a non-exhaustive ranking of f1 podcasts that I listen to:

1. The Red Flags Podcast 🚩🚩🚩

I have to listen to this podcast on solitary walks because I laugh so hard that people stare at me weird in public. I like the fact that they have funny opinions (even the ones I disagree with). being self aware about f1 as a funny sport gives major points. This pod was my gateway drug into f1 too so it has get points there (Intern Jeni you will always be famous). If you listen to any episode, listen to the formula 101, but imo the funniest episode ever recorded was the coverage of the Bahrain GP in 2022.

2. Two Girls One Formula

Also very funny! in a different way though which is cool. Love the deep dives and the manifest minute and the general good energy that I get from these two extremely funny women. Love this show!! Ash Vandelay was a very cool guest too.

3. Fan Behavior Pod

A recent addition to my repertoire, but very solid , funny f1 content with cool special guests, and cool segments. Pop culture crossover moment is a personal fave.

4. Late Braking Podcast

You might be noticing by now that I rank the podcasts that are funny higher. This is true and I don’t apologize. These guys are funny, and I tend to learn something about the cars/the drivers/the sport when I listen.

5. Missed Apex Pod

More informative, still good, great special guests. Feel like an f1 intellectual catching up on these eps.

6. The Race

The most technical by far, and I only follow about half. Still have some very interesting episodes and compelling discussions.
