#recursive fanart?

Haha, this might look a bit familiar if you're a fan of @ilaac-art and their more buggy (and Prime!Starscream-esque) Cell design!

I decided I wanted to take a crack at it and translate it back into a more DBZ styled design. I think I did alright for an initial sketch, but let me know what you think! Should I do more of these types of fanart of fanart drawings?

Recursions of Tearing Paper!

Below the cut will be info on Paper + a tag list

Paper does not use any pronouns, so refer to Paper by Paper's name (i.e. Recursions of Tearing Paper, RoTP, or Paper)

Constantly rebuilt by Ancients to be up to date with the best purposed organisms

Paper rebuilds Paper even when the Ancients disappear with the help of creatures, mainly slugcats

The 'x' over Paper's mouth is both representative of the karma symbol and also a way to abate the self by having no voice

Since Paper cannot speak, Paper instead has a screen purely for writing text on, and uses it when communicating other iterators

This is so beautiful!!!! And I know exactly what moment in the fic it is :D As always your color blending is so beautiful to me. The layering is so nice and it makes me SO happy every time to see the marker art since it's my personal favorite medium. Love love love seeing the process vid as well!!!

Yay, I finally drew something! And surprise-surprise, it's more fanart of my ConVex Recursive fic "I Waved Goodbye to the End of Beginning" (which is a recursive fic of @quaranmine 's amazing yet tragic fic "The Incandescence of a Dying Light")

If you haven't read "Incandescence" you definitely should. It's a Firewatch x Hermitcraft au story. (Especially before slchecking my fic out, my story takes place a year after the events of "Incandescence" and it's told from Cub's pov)

hi hello this is a reminder that while you can use your ao3 user bio to share something about yourself, you can also use that space to give translators & other creators permission (or not) to translate, podfic, or remix your work.

here's an example of what i have in mine:

sometimes this is called a blanket statement or a fanwork permission statement. you can include many, many different things within one—like whether you're cool with fanart or recursive fanfiction of your own work—or even including whether you want concrit or not!
