I advise looking up 'Make Some Noise' on#yt and watching the full episodes/compilations available for free there#He is in a youtube video with Smosh cast in an improv format they do called 'Try Not To Laugh'. Smosh cast folks are also very funny- a good#proportion of them at this point are also prifessional comedians. There are other Try Not To Laugh videos. a LOT of them. they can be#hit or miss but a lot of them are quite good (blind pairs or the musical episodes are all pretty good)#Smosh has multiple channels- this one is called Smosh Pit ajd also has other stuff they do. I love this book to death, so here's some things I noticed <3

Just had a Thought and now I'm curious. What's you guy's strangest comfort media? It doesn't have to be strange as in like creepy/fucked up/whatever, it can just be smthn a lil odd.
#Mine is a drum corps show from 2015 LMAO#Carolina Crown's “Inferno” to be exact lol#this was during my peak Band Kid years and also the height of my Divine Comedy fixaction so this just scratched SUCH a good itch#i would literally just watch this like 13 min long marching band show over and over#and try to figure out what parts of the music represented what parts of the poem#thank god i had other band friends i could just word vomit about this too at the time lol#every few months or so i'll fall back into it and reanalyze it a lil weirdo too lol#anyway 10/10 show would recommend if you like band stuff n dante LMAO

Something incredibly satisfying about knowing your craft and the confidence that goes with it. Just the casual “yeah I could make that”. Want a band tee? Yeah I can embroider my own with the lyrics I want. Bridesmaid dress too long? Yeah I can hem it. Need new slippers? Yeah I can crochet a pair (and give them bunny ears). And of course it’s not perfect but nothing beats that feeling of being able to craft your own solution with your own two hands
#this was prompted by watching nerdforge on YouTube#which I highly recommend they just made an office with a bed that moves as required because they wanted the space#and the “well we want this so we’re going to make it attitude#I aspire to#due to space and resources I’m stuck with limited textile arts but want to and will learn more#want to also sew my own clothes but see above re space#so doing mending and alterations for now which is still satisfying!!!#plus being able to make all your friends presents#rambles#crochet#embroidery#seeing#questwithambition

Will never not be confused by these types of statements.
Dark? Dungeon Meshi? Fucking blood spatter effect???
Feels like some people imply dungeon meshi is like madoka and switches mood but I never felt it, even as it gets to more complex and maybe "darker" subjects it continues to be a comedy about eating monsters in a dungeon.
Idk I just feel like it had a gradual ramping up in themes but it never "shifts" or stops being what it is, one thing that baffled me the most was people saying they expected the second opening to be darker
