Day 1 back at the gym

Last October I start going to the gym. In December me and my gym partner got sick and I fell out of the habit. Then I got into a relationship and I just never got back to it. Well post break up I am starting to accomplish my goals. Today was my first day back at the gym.

Since my gym partner is currently on vacation for the week I am just starting out with cardio.

I weighed myself after working out. I was surprised to see I'd lost 10 lbs in the last 2-3 weeks.

I did 10 minutes on another machine before switching to this one.

All in all I feel amazing. I know I'll sleep good tonight. And I'll feel good tomorrow.

These are almost a year apart, on the left was from our most recent trip to Sequoia and the right was from the Kansas City Zoo trip we took July 2018. I have been feeling very down on myself recently because I haven’t felt like the work I have been putting in has done anything. But when I look back at older pictures I can finally see a difference. It hasn’t been easy and it DEFINITELY has not been linear progression. Core de Force: day 30: MMA Plyo and core kinetics Here we are at last! It's late, I'm tired, I'm a sweating stinking mess of a person right now... and if I'm being totally honest... I couldn't be happier. It may have taken me nearly double the amount of time to get through this program but I did it. I actually did it and I couldn't be prouder. Core de Force: day 22: MMA Plyo and Core Kinetics Today was tricky. I spent most of last week making excuses for not pressing play. No time, my shoulder was hurting, I had too much to do... the list goes on and on. Then I got up this morning had a very vulgar very vocal fight with my scale and the words of a friend came to me. You got to fight for it and push play. Pushing play is the hardest part. So now I'm sore, I'm tired, and I've got a weird crick in my hip (I sound like an old lady) but I feel empowered.
