Ranger Helper Spotlight: Magnemite/Magneton
Pop quiz: You encounter a ranger literally anywhere. What friend pokemon are they likely to have captured, besides their primary partner?
The answer is often Magnemite or Magneton!
The reason for this, most of the time, is very simple: these pokemon are among the group that can assist in recharging a styler. While a capture styler isn't everything, and a good ranger should be able to do without it, it sure helps a lot. Which means a magnemite friend is the key to capturing any other pokemon, or doing a lot of ranger work. And with the spread of urban environments and electrical grids, they can be found practically anywhere. (Pokemon like the Pikachu line also have this function, but are apparently more rare in the wild depending on region).
So most rangers have familiarity with magnemite as a friend pokemon, but I want to give it a little more attention as a dedicated partner pokemon, not just a floating emergency battery. Attacks by wild magnemite/ton can cause a lot of trouble for power plants and electronics, but with training, the same skills can be put to use. As a ranger's partner, magnemite can:
-Use magnetic abilities to find/attract metal objects -Manage electrical surges -Disable devices -Detect electrical currents and anomalies -Magneton in particular can send radio waves for long-distance signalling.
I know a ranger who was saved from being zapped by a downed power line (disaster areas are messy and it was concealed by rubble and other things) because his partner Magnemite alerted to the electricity. They are sometimes thought of as nuisance pokemon for their aforementioned effect on electrical systems, but they are reliable little buddies and great helpers in the right niche.

(151 Follower Special!) Would A Pikachu Be A Good Pet?
(I just hit 151 followers! Thank you all so much for your support! I hope to continue making the blog better in the coming months, especially after I recover from this sickness. I figured there was no better way to mark the occasion than covering the main little guy themself! There's a whole lot of pokédex entries to look over, so I better get right to it!)
Tragically, I can't really recommend a pikachu to anyone but the most experienced electric-type pet owners! They're famous for being cute and friendly, and by all appearances they would be a great little buddy: they're are just the right size to be a good pet, which gets them some good points. They are known to be intelligent (Gold) and social, living in groups with other Pikachus in the forest (Diamond). But the electrocution risk is just plainly too high for me to comfortably recommend them. Pikachus passively generate electricity in their cheek pouches (Crystal), which they use to prepare food, protect themselves, etc. They don't seem to be able to control the electricity that they generate/gather, however, meaning that even the best trained Pikachu can cause you harm at any given moment.
If you come across a colony of Pikachus in the woods, I would recommend taking a wide berth, as groups of the pokémon can generate so much passive electricity that it can cause intense lightning storms (Red/Blue, Ultra Moon). Even a single Pikachu can cause lightning strikes: their tails, which they use to "monitor their surroundings", are natural lightning rods (Yellow, Silver). Pikachus generate electricity even as they sleep, which they often discharge accidentally when they wake up (Sapphire).
Pikachu's use the electricity they generate for controlled purposes as well, of course. For one, they use electric shocks to roast berries to eat (Gold). They aren't always the best at judging how much electricity to use on berries, and have been observed as blasting any new thing they come across with electricity in the same way they would food (Ruby). Pikachus use electric shocks to greet each other in the wild (Shield) and to help out other Pikachus that need a recharge for whatever reason (Black/White). Finally, Pikachus use the electricity they generate to defend themselves, giving them access to a decent selection of moves that pose an electrocution risk and inflict paralysis. You definitely don't want to get on a Pikachu's bad side.
The major issue with Pikachus is that even if you do your best to train your Pikachu to not attack you with their dangerous electric-type moves, they will need to discharge their passive electricity in some way. Pikachus get stressed when they are unable to fully discharge periodically (Moon). A stressed pet is an unpredictable pet. Certain emotional states can drive a Pikachu to recklessly discharge on a whim: when they are angry (Crystal) or wary (Pearl) they "immediately" release their electricity, shocking anything around them.
Caring for a Pikachu would require a keen attention to their need to discharge the electricity that they generate in their day-to-day life. You would need to constantly provide safe outlets (pun intended) for your Pikachu to comfortably discharge. One would need to be aware of the risk that their furry friend constantly presents, which something that only experienced electric-type trainers may be equipped to do. All this being said, I gotta be realistic. It's Pikachu. The main little guy! Even I would want a pet Pikachu! If they had a chance, I'd guess most people would go for it. Who could say no to that face?

"This mysterious creature resembles Pikachu and possesses a furry membrane between their arms. According to a bizarre magazine these Pokemon would use this membrane to glide between trees in search of food 20 million years ago. These Pokemon must charge their cheek sacs in order to use their electrical attacks, but unlike the similar Pikachu of modern times they are unable to continuously recharge their cheeks while they sleep. In order to make sure they don't run out, Surge Glider will take to the skies with their tails aloft during storms to absorb excess static electricity from the air. Some are inevitably struck by lightning, but if they are not gravely injured by their sudden fall they are given a hero's welcome by the rest of their colony."

Pokemon Card of the Day #3138: Ampharos-GX (Team Up)
Ampharos-GX had some interesting ideas all shoved onto one card. Getting a ton of Electropower back could set up for a big hit later, Impact Bolt was quite strong for its cost (but also had discarding), and it could also fetch a ton of Pokemon at once with a cheap GX attack. All of these things, however, were on a Stage 2, and some lesser versions of them were all available on more accessible things elsewhere. Using Ampharos-GX meant building toward revolving around a Stage 2 but also gaining access to the bigger versions of what it provided, so there was a lot of potential trade-offs going on here. This was big when considering how impressive Lightning already was as a type, with so much competition to be considered.
240 HP was about what you'd expect for a Stage 2 Pokemon-GX. Taking a big hit was expected here, as it took things like an ADP-Boosted Zacian V or the like to hit 240. Yes, Zacian V did do that through the Metal Resistance, making that trait pretty close to useless. The Fighting Weakness was mostly a thing in SUM-On when Buzzwole still showed up somewhat often. It technically also mattered right before rotation against Rapid Strike Urshifu VMAX, but there was basically no way you would be running Ampharos-GX by that point anyway. Some of the reasons for using this card were gone by that point. The Retreat Cost was 3, so having Switch around was a nice idea.
Power Recharge was weak. 30 damage was not what you wanted from a Stage 2 Pokemon-GX even if it was for a single Lightning Energy. The effect, in theory, was nice, as it had you put all Electropower cards from your discard pile into your hand. This was almost always worse than just using 2 solid attacks in a row, though there was the occasional exception involving forcing a switch into a Tag Team. That play could be ruined by something like a Reset Stamp or Marnie, so it wasn't too reliable at any point where hand disruption existed. It was, however, mostly better than Electrocharger if you were that desperate for the one specific play there.
Impact Bolt was a lot more impressive. 150 damage was really strong for just 2 Lightning Energy, even if you did have to discard all of the Lightning Energy attached to Ampharos-GX to use it. The main thing stopping this from being incredible was simply that Pikachu & Zekrom-GX existed. While the attack there required an extra Energy, it also accelerated to more Pokemon to attack with, and that was far better than the quicker first big attack. With Tapu Koko Prism Star also existing and Ampharos-GX needing to evolve, Impact Bolt was somehow almost entirely outclassed despite being really good on paper.
Electrical GX was a really interesting thing to put on an attack. Yes, it was a GX attack that did no damage, but when you paid only a Lightning Energy to search your deck for up to 7 Pokemon to put into your hand, you had the potential to set up well for the next turn. If, of course, you ran into any hand disruption, you wasted your turn and your GX attack, so this was best used in formats before the Unified Minds set was released.
Ampharos-GX was better on paper than it was in practice or in the context of what else was available around it. Power Recharge was rarely worth the use, and Impact Bolt, while powerful, was way too close to being a worse Pikachu & Zekrom-GX that the only reason you'd use this card was if you were a big fan of Ampharos in general. In fairness, the card could still hold its own reasonably well, as nothing on here was truly bad and Electrical GX could help set up more Ampharos-GX. This was the perfect example of a good card for casual play that had no real reason to be used competitively.

For the ask game: Joltik!
Oh I love getting to play with them!
Joltik are honestly so perplexing as electric types.
They don't hold charges for a super long time because of their size, but they can discharge an incredibly powerful shock before needing to recharge.
Size to power comparison for them is like a Pikachu being able to destroy a small skyscraper with one shock.
Being shocked by it can still hurt, but it's not that much damage unless they train, but comparative strength is still impressive.
Whats even more impressive is the silk they can produce.
Their silk is where their real electric powers shine, as it conducts electricity super easily, so much so that it can pull electricity out of humid air and basically be like a passive recharging pad.
Their silk is also great in fashion. When harvested humanely, it can be used to add conductive assets and make incredibly powerful binds. It's one of the top 3 choices for clothing.

DATE — 2024년 11월 16일 EVENT — TEAM UNKNOWN 006 (FINAL MEETING) WORD COUNT — 751
Hanbin walks into the meeting room and breathes in, 'Steady,' he thinks. These last five weeks have flown by, but in that time, he'd poured himself into Team Unknown training and into proving that he was a worthy of being part of Type Zero. Now, sitting across from Coach Jang In-sung, he's ready to share his growth and reflection.
Insung’s gaze met his. "Hanbin, I want you to think back over the past five weeks. What would you say was the hardest part?"
Hanbin thinks for a moment. "The hardest part was pushing past my own doubts," he admitted. "I’ve always put pressure on myself to keep up, especially since everyone here is so talented. There were moments practicing for the evaluations when I wondered if I was enough, if I was doing everything right. I felt the need to stand out but also to keep pace. And... well, balancing that took a toll some days. So, I took time on my own to outside of practice to go over all that I learned, to make those hard steps, moments I can conquer."
Insung nodded, and Hanbin hopes it's a good answer. The coaches knew how every trainee felt. "And what about the easiest part?"
A soft smile creeps onto Hanbin’s face. "Honestly, adapting to everything—the dances, vocals, even the intense schedules. I’ve learned that I’m kind of like a battery, I can charge up and recharge." He chuckled. "It’s easy for me to pick dances up, but I enjoy working on getting better down to the smallest details. When the coaches or fellow members gave me feedback on what to keep doing or not to do, I soaked it all up. I'm like Pikachu for real, there's so much electric energy inside of me. It helps me grow seeing it that way, and I like that feeling. It's a power-up for me."
"So, what have you learned about yourself during this time?"
Hanbin’s expression softens as he thinks about it. "I think I’ve learned that... I have a lot more resilience than I used to give myself credit for. Coming into this, I thought being adaptable would be enough. But I realized I have strength, too, grit and muscles to keep standing back up no matter what. I’ve found that even on my hardest days, I’m determined to keep going. And that’s something new and really special for me and I want to pass that on as an idol."
Insung observed him for a moment before asking, "If you were to debut with the current Type Zero lineup, how would you see yourself fitting in?"
Hanbin brightened at this question, his confidence showing. "I think I’d be the little brother," he says, grinning. "I bring a a lot of youthful energy that could help connect with fans my age. I could be someone younger fans can relate to and look up to and grow up with Type Zero." He paused, feeling a rush of excitement. "And I want to be easy to love—a bit playful, dependable, but still serious about my work, a little boss in my right. I look up to all the members of Type Zero like they're my hyungs already, I know I can become a depabale teammate! Plus, with the way I'm easy to mold, I could bring something fresh and keep the group dynamic lively. I could be that member that everyone feels drawn to fawn over just by my vocals."
The more he talks the more Hanbin feels a surge of motivation. "And going forward, what do you wish to accomplish?"
Hanbin’s gaze turns determined. "I want to be someone who grows so much that no one ever has to question why I’m here. I want to show that I can handle anything, that I’m not just someone who picks things up but someone who masters them. I'll be more than just an idol; I can feature as a model, and do acting gigs. I want to be the kind of idol who's always showing a new side in Type Zero and pushing the industry—a fresh energy, versatility, and someone fans feel like they can’t ignore. From here on, I want to push past every expectation I set for myself and prove that I belong."
With that, Hanbin sits still with his back straight, feeling a mixture of relief and excitement. IThe seal of approval would come in the future, but in that moment, Hanbin felt he proved why his place in Type Zero was a right fit.

Computer Card Game Options
Two aspects of computerized card games that interest me are how you can remove the inconvenience of some physical card game interactions to make them acceptable and how you can keep information controlled - both secret and verified - to enable certain options.
Suppose you liked the Pokemon TCG but you hated the Energy Cards with a fiery passion.
In a computer version you could let players pay energy costs for their Pokemon's attacks with other Pokemon of the same type.
Now, this gets into a weird situation regarding information, where if you're using cards with built-in purposes to power your other cards, your opponent is learning a lot about your deck with every card you play. Imagine if to play your Pikachu's 1-electric 1-anything Thundershock attack the opponent discarded a Charizard to pay the 1 generic energy needed. Prior to this you might not have known they were even running Fire-types!
If you want you could leave this alone, of course. Let the player see what the other player is discarding. But if it's a computer game you don't have to. You could just show that the other player discarded an electric type and something else.
Also, by "discard" we could mean the card just gets shuffled back into the deck. There's no reason it has to be removed from the game. And unlike the physical game, there's no wear and tear on the cards or break in the action to shuffle. You pay the cost, the animation just shows the card(s) going "into the deck somewhere," and the turn moves on.
If I were making these mechanics in a physical card game I would feel like I had to allow players to see each other's cost discards, just for basic verification that nobody's cheating, and I would feel like I had to have the cost either go into a discard pile, which might eventually be shuffled if the game allowed for a lot of cycling and I didn't want it to end based on decking, or it'd need to "recharge" as Pathfinder ACG calls it and have the expended card go on the bottom of your deck.
...Huh. Another weird interaction I've never seen but could be neat in a computer card game: Verified Cards. Basically, a rule that if cards in your deck have been seen, rather than a shuffle screwing up this knowledge the deck gets shuffled around them. So you could play a Future Sight attack like in Pokemon video game titles, setting the attack to your third card, and then if you used, I dunno, a Squirtle Squad ability where a Squirtle pulled another one out of the deck, and then the deck was shuffled... First of all you wouldn't need to shuffle, because you could pull the Squirtle from a random location in the deck without revealing any other cards to either player. But if you did shuffle you could do so in a way that left Future Sight at card slot 3 no matter what.

So now Ash's journey isn't ending in Galar but a in mini-series with the OGs.
So why was is necessary to make Ash champ in Galar? Surely this mini-series could've had that endgame instead?
Also why in god's name do you think it's a good idea to retire Ash's character? Ash and Pikachu are literally most of the anime's appeal after all, and that also means that Team Rocket are gonna be retired too.
Also the absolute fucking disgrace that they're treating that travesty of a World Coronation Series win as Ash fulfilling his dream when he needed 2 handicaps, a dynamax recharge and an innumerable amount of plot armour and conveniences to win, that disrespectful.
These 11 episodes can be great for sure, but honestly this feels more like a tragic end for the forever 10 year old, we could've had so much more.
#pokemon#pokémon#pokeani#anipoke#ash ketchum#pokemon anime#yes I can be happy that misty and brock will be with Ash for the end but still why does it need to be the end?#it feels like ever since SuMo someone in charge has been desperate to kill Ash's character enough to replace him#I will not be surprised if the new anime barely gets any watchers too because we do not know these people#I mean are we gonna resolve TR trio's redemption? Giovanni's defeat? Ash's father? Or is this just gonna be a nostalgia trip?#if you were gonna replace Ash in the anime this was the wrong way to do it#the best way rhymed with Mokepon Vadentures#also don't show Pidgeot Primeape Lapras Butterfree Kingler Goodra Greninja Naganadel and Ambipom if you're not gonna commit!

#172.5 - Despite their small size, Pichu are charged with enough electricity to shock an adult human; however, they are inept at storing and retaining electricity, and often startle themselves by discharging power accidentally. These electric mice are social Pokemon, and flourish in large groups of its kind, or with a deep bond with its trainer. As they age, they get better control over their electricity, and use their larger tail to help ground themselves and prevent shocks. Pichu will also begin to develop cheek pouches, which they use to store extra electricity.
#025.5 - Pikachu live in forests away from people, where they gather in groups and form a tight community. They use their stored electricity in several different ways, such as roasting hard berries, recharging a weakened fellow Pikachu, and as a warning to threats that get too close. Not all Pikachu evolve, but those who do often seek out thunderstorms with their tail raised, attempting to get struck by lightning. The additional electricity helps them grow, though too much may cause some aggressive behavior until the extra has been discharged. Trainers can simulate this by frequently exposing their Pikachu to a Thunderstone.
#025.5A - Pikachu can be found in the Alolan wilds, and like several over Pokemon species native to another region, have an altered evolution due to their time there. Alolan Pikachu have quite the sweet tooth, and often sneak into urban areas to steal sweets and pancakes. If a Pikachu is charged with enough excess Electricity, it will trigger their evolution; though they will develop a new Psychic typing, believed to be due to their new diet. After watching Alolan natives surfing on ocean waves, these Pikachu practice their budding psychic power by gathering it into their tails so they 'surf' on them as well!

TVTropes Associated With Each Doki Clip (Part 9)
Space is Sleepy
---
Hey, what am I missing? Anne checked in.
“Mmm?” Wheeler groaned a little. “Anne?”
Hi, sweetie. You okay?
“...fine.” Wheeler sighed.
You’ve got time to nap before we have the ceremony.
“...see ya, Anne.”
They began to glow vermillion a little, alarming him slightly.
“What’s going on?” Dicky wondered.
“Sorry, sorry, brain’s wandering again.” Wheeler groaned.
“It’s totally fine.” Santi reassured.
“Come on.” Polly chuckled and helped Wheeler to bed.
“Thanks, Polina.”
“Again, not my real name.”
Affectionate Nickname
---
“Well shit. I’ll ask Aianna to notify me of any jinxes. He’s probably gonna wait until Guy is asleep though.”
“Yeah, Theodore isn’t stupid enough to jinx Ginger with the possibility of getting scolded looming over his head.” reminded Glitch. “Remember the time I was being attacked by bullies?”
Bob and Buzz nodded.
Papa Wolf
---
Pixel nodded “It’s a team thing. But don’t you worry, Cookie. Uh, what’s your Robodoki name?”
“Robokurage. With a K and no O and shit.”
“Gotcha! Anyways, you’ll get used to it, it’ll be like-”
*SNAP*
“Oh fuck-” Denki, Mecha, Lumi and Kurage all looked at Pixel.
“-that. Was that the fourth snap?”
“Yep.” Lumi confirmed.
Oh Crap!
---
Ellie, Avery and Booloo instantly began making faces at the sharks.
“Right this way, we have the rainforest tarantula ex-”
“BOOLOO! BOOLOO!” Kandi flew over.
“WHAT?!?” Booloo geeked.
“I- I- I FIGURED IT OUT! I THINK I FIGURED IT OUT!” Kandi smiled.
“WHAT OUT?!? THE SUSPENSE IS KILLING ME!”
“I FIGURED-” Kandi stopped. No one will believe me…
Mood Whiplash
---
Guy sighed. “If I wasn’t so dumb, I’d say so many words to berate you, Cookie!”
“If you want, I can get you a thesaurus.” Cookie offered.
“That’s not the compliment you think it is, Cookie.” Schmitty gently told him.
“Then what is, Schmoopie?”
“I’m sorry for doing the alarm prank, maybe?” Schmitty deadpanned. “Just a thought.”
“I’m…sorry about the alarm prank.” Cookie awkwardly looked away, hands in his pockets.
Guy just huffed at the two.
“I deserve that.”
Rage Breaking Point
---
“Thanks for travelling flight 666.” the pilot winked, exposing a red demon eye. He tipped his hat and showed his demon horns, before they shrunk back in and he continued like nothing happened.
Schmitty gulped.
“Alriiiiiiiiiiight, let’s gooooooooooooo…” Guy blinked.
Cookie chuckled. “Jet lag’s a bitch, huh?”
“Better question, can you get jag lag from a 5 hour flight?” Schmitty asked.
“Jag lag?” Cookie laughed. “Okay, naps for all three of us tonight.”
Exhaustion Induced Idiocy
---
“Look, at least the generator didn’t go out, in the studio.” Schmitty reassured.
“So where is everyone else?” Booloo was curious as she stimmed.
Schmitty sighed. “Buzz is in his office, Nate’s styling his hair in the bathroom, Guy’s in the breakroom with Glitch and Bob is with Aianna while she and Roxie recharge.”
“Nice, nice. Figured the power outage would take a toll on them.” Booloo beamed as she twirled.
“Good to know.” Avery nodded.
Big Blackout
---
“LOOK OUT! INCOMING SNOWBALL!” shouted Bob as he and Aianna dodged a snowball from Guy.
“Calmer now?” Aianna asked.
Guy scoffed. “AS IF! I COULD DO THIS ALL DAY!”
“Not calmer…” the couple sighed before Aianna shuddered.
Snowball Fight
---
“It’s for you.” Gertrude gently shook Niji.
“Hmm?”
“Roxie needs you, now.” she giggled.
“...Right!” Niji shot up.
“I get it, I get it, I narrate a good memory.”
“No worries. Roxie needs me.” Niji rushed.
“Take care, dear.”
Nap-Inducing Speak
---
“Yeah, SOMETHING’S been bugging you, we can see it in your face.” Mecha added as they and the others walked over, slowly.
“And I get it, escapism is fun, but it’s not healthy.” Teddy added.
“So, what happened?” Laser asked.
“NOTHING!” Henry wrapped himself tighter in the blanket, crying softly.
Pixel looked at Pika. “Sure doesn’t sound like nothing, Pikachu.”
“It doesn’t.” Pika climbed in the bed with him, giving him a hug. “...Shhhh. It’s okay.”
“No it isn’t.” he muttered.
“We’re just here to help.” Pika insisted. “And right now, the help you need is sleep. When you don’t have sleep, you’re emotional.”
She clutched him tighter.
Cooldown Hug
---
“GOBBLEGOBBLEGOBBLEGOBBLE!”
Radley sighed and aimed a prop gun at April.
“Turkeys were a part of the meal, as was pum’kins, squish, and…”
“BAM!”
April spun around until she got dizzy, then collapsed on the ground.
“...and I NEED TO GO TO THE BATHROOM!”

A Pokémon Adventure to Celebrate 12 Years of Pure Magic! 🎉
Today was nothing short of epic, as we gathered to celebrate my son's 12th birthday—Pokémon style, of course! It’s hard to believe that this phenomenal young man made his grand debut 12 years ago, weighing in at just 4 pounds of pure miracle. Fast forward to today, and he’s thriving, reminding us every single day that little miracles can grow into incredible people. Mega proud mama here, kart-wheeling through this wild life!
The day was packed to the brim with laughter, chaos, and a few too many chocolate cupcakes (oops!). We had an absolute blast, but the fun didn't stop there! I got to hang out with my sister and her adorable crew of nieces and nephews. Picture this: a house full of kids running around like hyperactive Pokémon, laughter echoing through the halls, and all those delightful shenanigans! Honestly, this is exactly why I decided to have a troop of my own—the more, the merrier, right?
After the birthday festivities, my sister and I went on a little shopping adventure. Just a few bits here and there, but it was the perfect way to unwind and spend time together! Thank goodness for that, because my big shopping spree was yesterday! I had a fabulous day out with a friend, and we hit every store we could. It was a whirlwind of laughter and retail therapy—until my body decided it didn’t agree with the fun and left me limping around like a lost Pikachu later that night. Oof! That's the not-so-fun part of living with my disability. But hey, I scored some adorable frog plushies—yes, I’m a proud frog fanatic! Oh, and I treated myself to some stylish new threads from my all-time fave brand, Lucy & Yak. Definitely a day well spent, despite the aftermath!
As for today? I’m still on the mend, tackling pain like a boss. But you know what? I won’t let it steal my sunshine! My evening plans include snuggling with the kiddos for some cozy time with “Inside Out,” topped off with a little artistic expression through painting or coloring. Just a little something to unwind after life has had me on the go like a Turbo Pidgey.
Oh! And I almost forgot—today also marks the big 10-year anniversary for me and my partner in crime! Cue the confetti! We’ve hit double digits in love and chaos! While we won’t be jet-setting off to a fancy celebration (because, let’s be honest, with double the kids comes double the fun at home!), we don’t need grand adventures to keep the spark alive. Our love is like a rare Pokémon—strong and unyielding all year round!
Alrighty, my fingers are waving the white flag, and I’m off to rest and recharge. Remember, you all are amazing human beings—never forget that! ✨
Peace out!

Lets Go To The Movies pt. 1
Not much to say about this Pikachu - the first attack stuck me as somewhat strong, albeit risky.
I leaned into this "risk factor" by lowering the HP quite drastically, but making Pikachu's attacks more accessible. You definitely don't want to try to Recharge in the late game, but as your first attack it might be able to sneak in a free energy, or perhaps even get a cheeky KO with a Thunderbolt.

Headcanon: Pikachu in their natural forest habitat are more likely to have the Lightning Rod ability, dependent on lightning to recharge their power. Meanwhile, pikachu who have adapted to urban environments are brimming with Static, due to their steady and reliable supply of cables and wires.
