Summary:

The night Tommy disappeared, it went like this: Tubbo screamed the words that became his goodbye. He can’t accept that Tommy is gone, because that would be accepting that the last words they exchanged were angry and intended to hurt. So he doesn’t accept it. He’ll search for years if he has to. Techno let Tommy leave without so much as trying to stop him. He’s replayed the memory of that night and wished he’d done anything else, until he thinks the guilt might be enough to destroy him. He thinks he might already be on his way there. And Quackity can’t help but feel like this is all just a bitter echo. This town is cursed, and Tommy is only its latest victim. — ( the small town horror au where tommy goes missing and it all goes downhill from there! )

That c!Quackity duo bracket really reminds you how amazing Quackity is at lore but also at just being present on a server. He and his character have a compelling dynamic with literally everyone on that list like he formed so many unique stories with the other players of the server, so much so that the bracket doesn't even have the room to cover them all. 🛒 What are some common things you incorporate in your fics? Themes, feels, scenes, imagery, etc.

oh all sorts of things but especially the star imagery/metaphors. we all know how much i fucking LOVE stars. my god i can't wait to get elbow deep in comparing cleon and mithan to stars i have so many metaphors just waiting to be used <3 <3 cosmic imagery baby!! also my beloved jigsaw puzzles i will forever put them in. personal headcanons i can think of appearing in multiple fics include cwilbur with his compass tattoo and chronic migraines. um. postcards i do love a good postcard. friendship breakups and the search for belonging and characters hiding in closets because the world is too big to deal with sometimes. lighthouses. sea glass. ribs and knuckles. yeah.

🌞 Do you have a preferred time of day to write?

i usually end up doing it in the evenings because i try to do homework from 8 am to 4 pm. i have so much homework. weekends it's usually in the early afternoons because i work nights.

🤗 What advice would you give to new fanfic writers that are just getting started?

please put effort into your summaries i swear they do so much to get people to read your fic. don't just put you're bad at summaries. you will be good one day just put an interesting hook from your story tell me why i should read it i beg. write whatever the fuck you want. it doesn't matter how niche the au—there will always be at least one person (even if it's yourself) who will enjoy it. i am so deeply fond of niche aus about things the author clearly loves. they resonate. read a lot. reading a lot helps you write better crazy i know.

overall be happy. write what brings you joy. that'll make it worth it.
