Of course Katherine KNOWS the other is right, but it sounds so...final, the way Eloise puts it, and she knows the other woman isn't usually like this. "Maybe that's true," She says with a huff, arms crossed from where she's looking back at her best friend. "But that doesn't mean we have to accept what someone else wants as the be and end all, especially if they only get what they want because society holds them to a lesser standard than us,"

Her expression softens, the anger seemingly dissipating. "Are you alright? You can talk to me if you want." You should KNOW that.

As much as Atieno appreciated time with Farryn, they were sometimes a little annoyed by how fast they tended to speak without any kind of context of meaning. They could process things very quickly but that didn't mean that they wanted to feel rushed in their engagements.

Farryn having a party? Interesting. Farryn needing help with damn near everything for the party, Atieno couldn't help the small sigh they let out.

"Farryn. I'm not a hosting type at all.. not really. I am not sure how helpful I'm going to me. Especially with how .. all in you probably want to get for this party."

Dylan walks along the path with Hope by his side, looking at the changing leaves on the trees around them. "i love this time of year the trees all look so pretty when they start changing. Look at that tree over there, isn't that a beautiful shade of red? i wonder what kind of tree it is." He takes a sip of the coffee that he had brought with him and then looks over at Hope with a small smile "What do you like about the changing leaves?"

she's ready to be offended at farryn's words until she glances down at her current grip on the carving knife and realizes they are right. instantly flushing with embarrassment, jess awkwardly smiles through it. she places the knife down on the table and wipes her hands on the towel yet again, and while it takes away the moisture from her palms, they still feel pretty sticky. this is what she gets for being ambitious instead of cutting a few standard shapes and calling it a day. ❝ this is why i usually stick to painting them. but then you don't get to roast the seeds afterwards. ❞

Jinx thought it had went perfectly. Planting bombs on some big research building, that had to be super important. Six enforcers were dead, which thrilled Jinx. If it weren't for Silco's partnership with Marcus, she would gladly kill more. Would make special bombs for them...

Unfortunately Jinx had been spotted on her way back down to underground. Marcus... That pathetic backstabbing piece of shit. Jinx always knew he would betray them. Knew he couldn't be trusted. And now she was here in Stillwater.

"Move along, prisoner 518, to the gathering quarters with the rest of the lot." Jinx hands were already bound and they weren't being gentle. No, they were shoving her, like she wasn't the daughter of someone very important crime lord in the undercity. Oh they would get what was coming to them when she was out...

She felt her hands uncuff as she was shoved forward. Again. "You're lucky I don't have my bombs on me, you'd be dead. And my name is Jinx." Jinx spat at the ground. However, her mood quickly shifted at the sight of a familiar pink hair. At the familiar face.

No, It couldn't be. Jinx had killed her that night, right? The bomb...

"Vi...?" Jinx purposely kept her distance... "No, you aren't Vi, are you? Couldn't be. I know what I saw, there's no way you survived. I would known it. He would have told me if you did." @realmyths

Eloise chuckles. She is happy to have found another friend who understands her. Who isn't so focused on marrying and finding a husband. Or at least, who respects that Eloise doesn't want to do so. She definitely knows the value of that. And so, when Katherine says she'll race Eloise through the corn maze, Eloise is only too happy to join. She doesn't care much about her reputation, and even if she did, she's always willing to put that aside for the sake of friendship. "Okay! Let's go!" She says, running towards the entrance to the maze.

She probably won't win, exactly. But she'll certainly try her best. And she knows she'll have fun.

Katherine is GLAD that she has opted for a wider dress and some comfortable shoes for this outing, because otherwise she might have tripped and made a fool of herself. The fool part she doesn't really care about as much, but she doesn't really fancy hurting herself, or losing this race.

A laugh escapes her as she runs and catches up with Eloise, just happy to be enjoying the other's COMPANY here, before overtaking her and winning by a few inches. She's still laughing, bent over and a little out of breath, when Eloise joins her, and automatically takes the other's hand in hers.

"Come on!" She then smiles, "Let's see how quickly we can find the exit!"

lmao so i actually made nadine in 2019, when the umbrella academy first came out. i finished the show, and made them based on it. they were very different at the time, and have gone through many, many iterations, but yeah! they're basically five years old at this point. i just thought a mind reader who could only read minds when touching people was fun. and the time travel idea came from a concept on the show, but when i made them an oc i wanted to keep that, so i just did LMAO.

i could list about a million songs but i have to go with shoot to thrill by ac/dc.

Heyyyyyy I'm Star. I'm a total nerd who loves to write and RP. Currently working on Alex & Tori's story. And also a nonfiction book about my life lol. Despite that, I'm not that exciting. But for an interesting fact, I'll say that I live in the USA, but have plenty of family in Europe. Because of my dad & granda being born outside the country. :)
