been going a little bit insane about this sentence from Ace by Angela Chen for the past week

Thinking about Armand getting sick— sick enough to have a noticeable change in his body and how in some ways it makes him more tragic.

In the books he’s turned quite young, at 17, before he’s properly grown into what he would look like as a man.

But for show!Armand who was turned at 27, he absolutely would have seen that whole development. And then, through this wasting illness, lost parts of it. That no matter what he does or how much he eats his body will always show these ravages of illness.

Armand being doomed to look in the mirror with a slight disconnect in what he sees and knows as his body and what he knows as what it could be.

The sickness also helps tie into the rule about not turning the weak, instead of the young. In either case, it helps parallel Claudia in that, logically, neither of them should have been made. Both of them have a disconnect between who they are and what they look like. But that, just like in the books, Armand’s is less severe and thus easier to live with.

making a fursona is fun but getting to retire an old traumatized time capsule of yourself and make a new, happy, grown version of yourself is so fuckin nice.

#chocolate milk had very short hair and a very bad attitiude. very sad and angry guy #lovely belle is cheerful and bright with a cane and long hair like me =')!#growing my hair out and finding out its actually really wavey and curly was magical #and its so integral to my health getting soooooo so so so much better mentally and physically #bc for most of my life my hair was grey and kept very short and got insanely frizzy if it grew out #right up until our wedding i was buzzing my head consistently but after i realized what the root of my health issues was #my entire life changed!#my body type changed my my face shape changed my hair color changed i wasn't in 8-9 level pain every day anymore #lifes GOOD now i feel insanely healthy. id always assumed i was going yo die young and never know why #but instead im going into my 30s flourishing in a way ive never experienced in my life #AUGH making a new fursona was so needed and im so happy w the design #sorry to gush it's important to look around and recognize how far youve come! sometimes! so!

😭 I don't really have lore tbh, mostly vibes. Everything is too underdeveloped for lore

I have vague ideas of what I want my ocs to be.

For example, I want to put these guys in a 'time travel' kinda situation, where a murder takes place (that phone guy, who was the only one who knew how to help them get back in their time).

The only thing worse than their designs are the names

I never post about it here but since the one year anniversary of its conception was on July 5th i figured I'd post some drawings that i haven't shared here of my persona 4 older nanako AU

The story is in a very vague state right now but if you have questions about any of this please ask......i would love to talk about this with people.

The fact that it's been a year since i started working on it is crazy to me and I've improved a lot in various ways. I wish i posted about it here more but because the story is in such an early stage (and also cuz my art isnt that great) i feel afraid to put it on my blog :,) hopefully I'll post about it more now though cuz i really wanna start on developing a much more comprehensive plot to this which posting about it might be the extra push i need.
