🧁 As he spoke to his parents as you played with his younger siblings, his sister smiling as you gave her a small rose-spun flower crown as his brother messed around with a little set of toy vehicles you had gotten for Grim to mess with while Yuu busied himself

🐺 He really wanted you to meet his family. To a beastman of his kind, family is everything. They raised you and gave you a chance at life for crying out loud!

🐺 His family and his are very close, and that is shown multiple times throughout your relationship. The way he would smile gently when looking at the photos on his camera roll that contained his grandparents, parents, and younger siblings made your heart swoon

🐺 Because of how close he was with you and how close he was with his family, he was very happy when the ‘Family Day’ was announced to happen

🐺 He immediately had sent an email to his parents with the note that he wanted them to meet you, who was his new S/O, and hopefully his only one

🐺 When they had arrived, their tails all wagged as they hugged, you just smiled as your family walked away to speak to another one of your close friend’s parents, who were visiting him for the next few days to help with P.E. classes while Vargas was away

🐺 His siblings had gotten bored and pulled you away from their older family members, asking you if you had anything fun to do, much to your enjoyment

🐍 Jamil did not want to deal with his sister coming to Night Raven College, since she was known to be quite hard for him to handle, especially with Kalim there

🐍 When his sister did shoot him a text saying that she was just a couple minutes from school grounds and was planning on coming over after the day was over to see her brother, he groaned and asked her not too

🐍 Unfortunately, she was very stubborn, much like her brother. Not that he admits it

🐍 She did send him a small message saying that she wanted to meet his supposed S/O as well, but he had gotten busy keeping Kalim from jumping from his balcony and onto his magic carpet, so he had no chance to actually read the message

" Y/N! It’s so good to finally meet you. Let me just say my brother doesn’t stop talking about you over summer, it’s gotten annoying. "

🐍 Jamil watched with wide eyes and flushed cheeks as his sister and Kalim began discussing how much Jamil talked about you after your first year’s summer, revealing just how much he admired you back then until current day

🐍 Najma smiled and pat her brother’s shoulder with a laugh as she grabbed your hand and dragged you around Scarabia as Jamil followed you, her, and Kalim

🐍 He watched as you would smile and try keeping the two energetic people calmer than usual, thank goodness you had just as much patience as him when it comes to this kind of thing

" My older brother always raves about your eyes, saying they looked like the night and day’s sky, comparing the sun to the sparkles your eyes contain. He’s so cheesy! " " Right? 🏹 Rook adores his siblings, both older and younger, very much

🏹 They are fairly similar to him when it comes to personalities, but they are quite different in their own unique ways, his oldest sibling, Leroy (King), for example loves to take photos instead of watch for a while like Rook

🏹 When he received a letter from one of his oldest younger sibling, Chevalier (Knight), saying that they were going to come by and visit him, he smiled and told you immediately, asking if you would care to meet his family

🏹 You just smiled and nodded at his enthusiasm, you knew he cared for his siblings and you very much, so you understood why he wanted you guys to meet badly

🏹 Hugging you from behind as he pressed his hat on your head to protect you from the sun’s strong rays, Rook’s signature smile seemingly was twice as large as he awaited the arrival of his multiple family members

🏹 Turning around from the bench, Rook laughed with a booming sound as his three younger siblings, Chevalier, Évêque (Bishop), and Pionne (Pawn), jumped into his arms as his older ones, Leroy and Reine (Queen), stood and chuckled

🏹 Reine looked at you and pushed her hair behind her ear as he embraced you. This didn't surprise you, you predicted that all of the Hunt siblings were very affectionate and bold with their actions

Last but not least, inspirations. hooo boy this is a doozy

Firstly i wanna say i was inspired to make a comic specifically because of older ut comic dubs (Christmas party, handplates, Aftertale, etc) along with Scott Pilgrim and @akanemnon’s Twin Runes comic! (check them out i love twin runes a lot!!!)

The idea for the au is really just “What if the humans were monsters and the monsters were humans?” or, also “what if the (former) monsters were on the surface and the (former) humans were underground?” Classic Overtale plot!

Going in order, starting with AXIS, he’s actually one of the newest designs! i made him in my german class last week („•v•„U ) I wanted Axis to have a design change but remain a robot, maybe being more humanoid due to being made by a human! Changed his pipes and light bulb into what resembles hair and his wheel into roller blades!

Next up, Ceroba! i’ll be honest, i really don’t like Cerobas canon design that much. Love the colors but the short skirt and boots are not it, especially if she’s intended to be a more traditional japanese character. Like she’s not a magical girl, she’s in her 30’s?? Anywho, i made her prominently orange instead of pink (again, magical girl) along with lightening natural hair due to age and stress!

Clover. Clover Clover Clover!!! what do i even say about this precious little pup?! :3

I guess i could start with them being a Kitsune, of course, being switched with the Ketsukanes. Seeing as Ceroba is a mother and is often portrayed as taking a motherly role to clover, i figured a kitsune would fit them nicely! Along with being a cute, fun to draw, and curious troublemaker! I always like to remind myself that Clover’s just a kid.

Next up, Star! or, in this au, Stanley Sterling, the performative sheriff of a humble little town! i decided to switch up his poncho a little, for the sake of changing his design, gave him chaps (i like to call em pantaloons hoohoo!) and teal tassels for days! He’d prolly know more about cowboys than canon Starlo because, yknow, he lives on the surface!

Ah Martlet, or now, Marlette! but most just call her Marley. She has ~4 different outfits planned, a cozy, aviator style one for “Snowdin”, a sleeveless shirt with her flannel round her waist and a bandana for “the Dunes” and that flannel over her shoulders for “New Home”! along with a tee and pj’s for the epilogue. Her outfit is easy to manipulate so it only stays the same so often. Also, talon boots! ;]

And Dalv! Poor fella stayed a monster for the plot 😿 but i changed his design so he’s got a jacket similar to the one he has in Snowdin in uty but a whole lot smaller lol, along with a Batty pendant, a red vest and shoes and carved down horns! poor fella :(

Main Humans for my Undertale Mutated Cores AU:

Frisk and Chara! (And Clover from undertale yellow fangame. They are in my au and alive because I can. And I will.)

Anyway, I love this AU I've made, and here is a summary of it below! (+Extra info and closeups) Will be under the cut though.

Mutated Cores is an AU where all the monsters (and not just the monsters really) have been mutated in some form after the core powering the underground blew up after an accident, sending a shockwave which mutated the monsters in the underground. Due to this, there is also a lack of resources and power, so monsters are alot more aggressive. The story takes place from the point of view of Frisk, a 10 year old child whom had fallen into the underground 6 years after the core had exploded and the malfunction occured. Frisk's fall had seemingly awakened the spirit of Chara, who is now seemingly attached to them, and now follows them throw the underground, nearly just as confused. They will encounter various monsters, and will have to figure out the best route for everybody, in a land that wants to hurt everybody.

TRANSFEM TISSUES PROPAGANDA ATTACK!!!

why do another nonbinary arc when you can do the transfems justice? sure, we already have lightbulb, but lightbulb happened in between seasons and it was never even canonized! wouldn’t it be great to finally make the transfems happy and give the world an actual transfem arc?

tissues is easily one of the contestants i have the most problems with. firstly— the way their sickness is made fun of when it’s genuinely a disability. let’s add more to this walking ableist stereotype and build on that! make them have niche interests— since they’d probably be bedridden a lot, maybe make them a super geeky person! make them like fandoms and spending their time drawing fanart for their favorite shows— make them have super geek freakouts when they learn someone else has heard of their favorite obscure anime!! make them an enjoyer of horror media, or make them an otaku!! make them indulge in media so that they can imagine themselves in a world where no one makes fun of them for their condition!

my next point is to make them have an arc where people realize that there’s more to them! have one of the new contestants reach out despite their illness! make them learn all about who tissues is, make them learn about tissues’ rich inner worlds that they’ve built up to escape the reality of their sickness. make them become really close with tissues and make them share their interests with them as well. make them open up to eachother— i could see this happening with cabby or clover, maybe even tea kettle! …and then have one of the older contestants refer to tissues as “the sick one”, or some other dismissive term that references only their condition. make tissues’ friend angry at that contestant for only seeing tissues for their disability, make them yell at that contestant and let them fucking rant. and make tissues be in the background, hearing all this and realizing that they… really don’t deserve to be treated like that, do they? make them realize that all this time they’ve been trying to escape when in reality, they can stand up and fight. just like their favorite heroes do. just like their friend did for them.

(btw its very important that their friend is a girl i should mention this)

let them get more confident over time, starting with them glaring at people who joke about their condition. then have it escalate into them taking a stand against anyone who says mean shit against them— have them tell people off for being ableist fucks (not words used in the show most likely) and make their friend be proud of it. make them grow closer with their friend over the course of the show, and have a scene where the two are alone. tissues would ask “…what’s it like to be a girl?” their friend would be a bit confused, but would explain it to the best of their ability. “…huh.” their friend asks why they asked “…i know… that some people don’t feel like the gender they were born with… and i always kind of identified with that.” “i was wondering because… because i felt strange about being a man. and i… i feel exactly like what you said.” Have their friend realize that. oh this guy is a girl actually. Have them offer the best advice they can, whether it be analytical or motherly or even a little awkward. and i want tissues to feel inspired to change. i want tissues’ title to change from The Sickness to The Adapter. someone who can change and grow no matter the situation— if only they try.

YO, BET! Okay, so I headcannon that Clover, Flowey, and Kanako (something happened where she stopped being an amalgamation, tests amd stuff, and she became back alive) go on little adventures, like they are a version of the Feisty Five but just the three of them (The Gusty Three?). They will do some illegal stuff, but they're like the Feisty Five! Chara is like Ceroba with those three, though they will go with them sometimes (To make sure they don't die, again). Frisk tries to stay out of it, most of the time. Flowey also plays the drums and electric guitar, because why not. They annoy Frisk with it. He's actually very good at plating both as well.Also, I would like to think that Clover would "flirt" with either Flowey or Chara in a joking way (Flowey aro-ace here in my world boyyyssss) to annoy them.

Anyways, what would Flowey rate the monsters Clover faced during their journey? (Starlo, Dalv, Ceroba, Martlet, El Baildor, Decibat, Mo, Axis, Chujin, & Guardener) What did he think about the Wild East? Does Clover know the date Papyrus gave to Flowey as a birthday? If so, does Clover also celebrate it? (What's the date....I need to know) Also, what does Papyrus rank all the monsters (Undertale main + Blooky and Muffet) as well as Undertale Yellow's monsters (Above), and Clover, Chara, Frisk, and Integrity (I headcannon her as Clover's older sister, named Lilian or Lily)? What does Flowey think of Lily and Clover being siblings? (One murderous, the other pacifist) What does he think of Lily overall? Does Flowey regret (If Neutral is done before Pasifist) manipulating and killing Clover? Also, (this is a lot, sorry, I just have a lot of stuff for my boy Flowey) I saw a comic of Flowey and Dalv, Flowey reading one of Dalv's books and being himself (as in being his inner child-like self). Would Dalv allow Flowey to read his books, before publishing them, as well as letting him listen to his music?

thought it'd be funny to make a physical tier list while in character as flowey, so i spent a couple minutes putting this together! i hope you enjoy! (hope you get the silly little gag here)

sadly no papyrus ranking because this is the flowey headcanons!!! we can't let papyrus invade our turf! (partially an excuse because i don't feel like making another version of this where the joke is like reversed or something. you could say... i'm not feeling up to it right now. *the crowd loudly applauds*)

flowey's probably just like: "huh, isn't that funny." because it'd be pretty wacky to see from his perspective. two siblings and they DON'T have the same opinions?? what is society falling to!!!! flowey "what do you mean your sibling didn't convince you monsters are all evil?" dreemurr

overall i think he probably wishes he cared enough about lily's story to try resetting to learn the lore, and possibly help her not die this time. not because he feels bad for her but because he really wonders what a timeline where lily gets to go on a rampage and live would look like. also just because he doesn't like axis.

tbh i don't think flowey would regret it, per se. or at least, he wouldn't let himself. he'd reason in his mind that they would've ruined the plan, gotten in the way, sabotaged it, etc. which is why it's fine they didn't know! he'd probably point at the pacifist route and say "see?? see?? that's what would've happened!!! they would've given up their soul to some random idiots and ruined everything!" probably just a little peeved that clover gave up when they were so close.

honestly the idea of dalv letting flowey read the books and embrace his inner child a bit is so wholesome... he may be 25 (hc uty age) but that doesn't mean he can't read a fun book. it also kinda reminds me of my headcanon that flowey is papyrus' little taste tester (sorry if like every friendship flowey has in my mind comes back to papyrus somehow) and like, he just gets to preread as a treat for being dalv's friend! if clover was still here they'd be like on the floor, criss-cross applesauce... oh my god i forgot dalv makes music!! i think after building up some confidence he'd probably let flowey listen to just a little bit and flowey would be like "turn up the JAMS!!! the music police are getting you for this BEAT!!"

I have so many Links Meet ideas that I can’t do because I am already working on three of them. I’ll be sharing just one of them for this post. For now, I’ll be calling it:

The Four of Us

So most of us are familiar with The Hero of the Minish, Link from the Minish Cap, Forger of the Four Sword, all of that. He’s the second hero after that comes after the Hero of the Sky, from Skyward Sword, the Hero of Men coming before MC Link.

So do you remember the Timeshift Stones from SkSw? Yeah, what if MC Link struck one with the Four Sword? And the Minish magic within it reacted to the stone and Mini somehow gets to meet the different owners of the Four Sword. They all get sent to Mini’s time.

Here’s the basic cast:

Forger, from the game The Minish Cap. His sword can create temporary copies of himself that mirror his movements. He’s like, a few years older than after his adventure, around 13 years old. He’s tiny and looks basically the same as he did when he was 10. Hobbies are collecting figurines and napping. Constant bed head hidden underneath his hat. He’s basically the leader.

Team Four, from the game A Link to the Past & Four Swords. His sword can change him into four different “Links,” Gene, Rory, Bo, and Paige. They’re all actually different people that are stuck being Links. This is in reference to the mandatory multiplayer aspect of the game, which I thought it would be neat. They’re represented as fairies when the sword’s power isn’t used. In video game terms, it’s like Gene is the one holding the controller and moving Link around while the other three players are following him around as fairies. Link, the body, is like 14, two years after the original adventure, but the Team are all around 15-18. Some notes, only Gene is okay with being called Link, Rory is the best fighter, Bo is the smart one, and Paige is the girl. They have actual personalities but I don’t feel like talking about them rn

Clover, from the game Four Swords Adventures. His sword can duplicate him into three other Links, Crimson, Navy, and Indigo. They are all effectively a hive mind, having no separate personalities of their own, Clover simply named them all for fun because he’s extremely lonely. He has no family or friends. Yellow, from the Four Swords manga. His sword can split him into four different Links, Green, Red, Blue, and Vio. It’s been a few years after his adventure, he’s 15, you all know this guy. Shadow is also there, in Yellow’s shadow. He can’t speak, and is very invested in messing with everyone in anyway he can. Without Yellow figuring out he’s still alive, of course.

I’m also thinking that eventually they meet the Link to the Past Link, as he did technically have the 4Sword at one point. soooo:

Fixer, from the game A Link to the Past & Four Swords. He has pink hair is trying to figure out the secrets behind the Four Sword. With the help of the Royal Family and his Uncle. He hasn’t gone through the events of the Oracle games yet, or maybe he’s just a different Link altogether? I don’t know yet. But he is like 12-13, he’s not doing anything serious regarding the 4Sword just yet. But he and everyone else are very, very curious about it and the Palace of the Four Sword.

The plot would be Forger trying to help the other Links get back to their own times, real basic, and it would have a pretty lighthearted tone overall.

That’s just about it. Maybe I’ll draw these guys eventually, but I dunno what else lol.

This is my another fan character by Clover. It's the fourth I've drawn my fan character not on paper, so please don't judge so harshly. I don't really know how to draw, but I really wanted to. So yes. His name is Larry, at the time of his death he was 23. p.s. please don't be surprised by his childhood, it's still flowers with what I give my fan character. Well, he lived with his older sister (who was a tap dancer), his older brother (who was talented), mother, and father, who were ordinary. Larry wants to put up with it, so he started putting up a pretend circus a lot. As a result, he was able to put his father in his place. My father is kinda strict, so he might be bossy, but still. The main thing is that everything is fine. However, Larry has a trace of his father, so he has a fake grin. In order not to waste his skills, he became a ringmaster in a fun circus. Everything was fine until, on his way home, he saw an acrobat practicing with a dare devil (this is another two of my fan characters. Maybe someday I'll tell you if I'm not too lazy.) He certainly didn't like it and she began to tell them to stop, but that daredevil was crazy and therefore knocked the fire hoop down when he got shot from the cannon, causing it to fall on him (reading this now, I understand what nonsense I am writing, but this is normal for my characters) and he dies. If he had a song, then the song would be that despite the fact that you are a nervous wreck, you could put up a show and be proud of yourself. His character is bold and prideful, but he's actually a little kind, he just knows how to show it. He himself is dressed up wearing a matching top hat. Attitude towards other characters:

Kel-he treats her a little well, as he sees her as a little herself. He often tells her that it is necessary to put up a show, like him!

Dave is 50/50, they got a little excited, but then they calm down. They love to tell each other life stories.

Brenda is his older sister and more or less normal, sometimes they talk and tell life stories or jokes.

George-they rarely talk, so it's hard to understand how they relate to each other.

Robin is too much for him.

Scooter & Clover Headcanons

I had kind of a bad week so Imma post my individual hcs for these two to cheer me up :] it's a little long so click to see them all!

Scooter

18 years old (senior year).

Has 3 older brothers- Roller, Blade, and Skate (triplets, 23 years old).

Ojibwe. Knows bits and pieces of the language; not enough to speak it properly, but enough to trick non-indigenous people into thinking she can.

Has dyslexia. English is her least favourite class.

Her parents are pretty busy people. They work very long shifts and usually aren't home. Nonetheless, they love Scooter very much and try to make time for all of their children.

Scooter is most similar to her father, down to her mannerisms. Her brothers, meanwhile, take after their mother more.

In comparison, she's very good at maths. She's near the top of her algebra class.

Learnt to skateboard after Roller went through a skateboarding phase when they were younger. He eventually dropped it, but she kept the hobby.

Girls are her weakness. She absolutely melts at the sight of a girl she likes.

Generally very confident and rowdy. She's known to not take anybody's crap and can be a bit impulsive, especially when she's upset or angry.

Easy to anger, but also very easy to calm down. She doesn't really hold grudges.

Friends with all the guys. Her best friend is Wylan B.

Involved in the skate punk subculture. She's very vocal if she thinks something is unjust or unfair, even if it gets her into deep trouble.

Constantly covered in scrapes, bumps and bruises from skateboarding.

A thrillseeker. There's nothing out there that can scare her. At least that's what she claims.

Kind of nosey. It comes from a good place - she just wants to make sure her friends are alright - but she really doesn't know when to stop pushing people for information.

Only one out of her friends to have a driver's licence. She drives her brother's old battered car whenever she can get her hands on the keys.

HORRIBLE handwriting. Combined with her dyslexia, it's a miracle she's even passing half of her classes.

Clover

Alongside skateboarding, she's also a talented artist. It's a hobby she's not open about though, and she mainly draws at home.

A pretty decent fighter. Blade was the one who taught her.

17 years old (senior year).

Her family life is… complicated. Her family life is extremely dysfunctional and is still a source of extreme anxiety for her. She moved in with Marty when she was 13. Her family life is an extremely sensitive topic, and she will lash out if people question her about them.

Used to be a VERY different person when she was younger. She was very introverted, shy, a people pleaser and obedient to her parents. Marty's "bad influence" helped her to come out of her shell and tap into who she really is.

Very bubbly both on and off the stage. Her best friends are Amy and Hope, but she gets along with pretty much everyone.

Despite being very friendly, she finds it hard to open up/be vulnerable around others.

Clumsy. Prone to dropping things and tripping over her own feet. She has broken several pieces of music equipment by accidentally dropping them or falling over.

Takes a day off school at least once every 2 weeks to practise for the band. Her teachers hate it, but she's passing all her classes, so they can't complain much.

Highly emotional. She wears her emotions with pride, and she often influences her own friends emotions. This can be great when she's in a good mood... It's not so fun when she's feeling upset.

Has anxiety, partially as a result of her parents. Although it's under control, she finds it extremely embarrassing and hasn't told anyone else about it aside from Marty. Her parents and people yelling are major triggers for her anxiety.

Very close with Scarlett. She sees her like an older sister.

Learnt to play the drums in secret from her parents. She's been playing since she was 12. She started taking it way more seriously after moving in with Marty.

Enjoys reading, especially magazines. Has a monthly subscription to a punk magazine.

Cut off all her hair the night she moved in with Marty. She's kept it short ever since.

Has a fear of dogs, especially large ones. She was bitten by a large dog as a kid & the fear's just stuck ever since.

Has a tendency to be extremely impatient. If a customer takes 0.5 seconds too long to order, she'll be in a bad mood.

LOVES dyeing her hair. She's had streaks, bangs-only, half-half, ect. Her bathroom is stained green from her dyeing efforts.

Tutors some of the other students in English, mainly the sophomores and juniors.

Collects pins. Most of her stuff is covered in various types of pins. Her favourite is a custom green clover pin that she keeps on her schoolbag.

Was (and still is) her parents' favourite child. She does not like that.

Enjoys writing lyrics. Most of her songs don't make it to the band's albums (they're admittedly a little too teenage-y for Scarlett to sing), but she has a notebook full of self-written lyrics.

Today was a stressful day, but Bright Oak is so relaxing to draw! I also thought I'd go with a trans headcanon for Big Mac in this universe because… well cause I like them! And yeah no Sugar Belle relationship, I'm just not a huge fan of her design and she's from the later seasons that I'm less familiar with.

Bio time!

Name: Bright Oak Nicknames: Oak, Bright Pronouns: He/him Age: Adult Parents: Cheerilee and Orchard Blossom (Big Mac) Siblings: none Cutie Mark: Wood carving and family Bio: Big, cheerful, and helpful! Bright Oak is Cheerilee and Orchard Blossom's only son and adore him. Bright Oak might not be sharpest tool in the shed, but he's always willing to drop everything to help someone in need. He's high energy and always makes time to do his fair share of farm work before heading off to his wood carving stall in the morning markets of Ponyville. He specializes in small, intricate objects but can also make a pretty mean rocking chair. He came out to his parents as a trans stallion when he was a teenager. His parents were a little baffled, but supported him wholeheartedly and dove into researching more about the subject. Through the long study sessions Blossom resonated with the material more and more and just a year after Bright Oak came out, tentatively came out of the closet herself to her very supportive family. Oak was delighted to have his mother join him in their transition.

Relationship to his parents: Bright Oak is very close to both his parents, being their only son. It's a bit unusual for an Apple pairing to only have one foal, but Cheerilee was pretty much done with pregnancy after giving birth to her very large son. He and Cheerilee often walk to the schoolhouse together in the mornings when he's heading to market, and of course Bright Oak is 1000% supportive of Blossom's coming out.

Relationship to his cousins: For some reason, he and Skyline became instant rivals as soon as they could walk. They're both aggressively cheerful and energetic ponies, and that energy tends to clash sometimes. They often compete to see who can buck the most apples or carry the heaviest loads. But Skyline was also the first pony Bright Oak came out to as trans and she gave him the encouragement to let his parents know. Bright Oak and Buck get along well, though sometimes both Bright Oak and Skyline's beaming energy can be a little much for Buck.

But he does tend to annoy Clover though, in the same way that most of the Apple family does; he'll see her struggling with a chore and just come of and cheerfully pluck it out of her hooves, not realizing he's just made an enemy for life with this decision.

Relationship with Apple Bloom: Bright Oak works a lot with his aunt, who has a similar crafting based cutie mark. They actually share a large studio space on the farm and often critique each other's work.

Fun Facts:

Bright Oak got his name both from Orchard Blossom's stories about her parents and from his mentor Burnt Oak! He actually got his cutie mark when Burnt Oak gave him a wood carving tool and log to distract the kid when he was babysitting Bright Oak. Yes Orchard Blossom totally cried when Bright Oak told them what his new name was.

Bright Oak is the oldest of Apple family children, being about two years older then Skyline.

💜a child, huh? Something truly unexpected. Vil is the first one to put his initial shock and disbelief aside and he immediately starts working on potion to turn you into adult again. He really wants to dedicate himself to it and at first Vil is engrossed in his work,

💜at first. Soon, you get rather bored and you begin to disturb him. Vil wanted to yeet you to Rook, he truly did, so he could focus on making a potion for you. Yet, after certain hunter told him for the umpteenth time that professor Crewel is taking care of it, he started considering taking a break,

💜your absolutely adorable puppy eyes finally convinced Vil to spend some time with you,

,,Can I style your hair?” “Absolutely no” “Please?” “I said no, but we can throw a small fashion show, hm?

💜 you two throw a small fashion show, but perhaps, a raid on Vil’s closet would be a more appropriate word. You tried a lot of his clothes and Vil taught you how to do poses,

💜 you two sneaked out to Heartslabyul to taste some strawberry tarts baked by Trey (even though Vil certainly was on a diet),

🏹 your puppy eyes and pouting face is enough to persuade Rook to do whatever you wish. Literally, he won’t be able to refuse you 

🏹Vil told him not to give you any sweets, but one look of your puppy eyes and Rook is melting. He will sneakily give you chocolate when Mr.Schoenheit is not looking,

🍏 Epel has absolutely no clue how to take care of you. Absolutely, he’s just lost, 

 🍏 but he tries his best to keep you from dangerous, sharp things that may result in you hurting yourself,

,,I’m not a baby, I can slice the bread myself” “Y’N, you’re literally a child”

🍏 however, Epel let you help him bake some apple cookies and you two ended up having a flour fight (yes, you started it on purpose), 

🍏 you two become partners in crime. Sneaking out at the evening to Savanaclaw, eating snacks past bedtime, violating practically every, single rule Vil imposed on you two and finally raiding Rook’s stash of sweets - there’s just plenty of things you both managed to do together, 

🍏 Epel plays a loooooot of board games with you - literally every, single game he managed to find in Pomefiore, while you both sip on hot chocolate with marshmallows,

🍏 he is elated, when you turn to your original form. Sure, he had a lot of fun taking care of child version of you, yet he much more prefers your older self (mostly because he can finally kiss you)

Color Themes in RAC (2)

In the second chapter, Taeddy wears a green coat, I immediately assumed that it was to represent jealousy, referring to how it’s the first time he ever acts jealous (but apparently the color associated with jealousy is purple ?? I always thought it was green idk why 😭). However when rereading it for the nth time a detail caught my attention, you described it as a “floral green coat” so then I thought of clovers, so maybe luck ? I 100% feel like I’m reaching atp but it would kind of make sense for it to be luck, since they didn’t know they would meet that day. He wears this coat with a button up, which is, unsurprisingly, black (CORRUPTION CORRUPTIOK).

When Mrs. Geraldson is first introduced (Art Gallery) she wears a gold dress. Gold usually represents wealth, lavishness, attention, expensiveness, which are all traits that I think we can safely attribute to this character. She’s older, she’s experienced, she is dressed somewhat flashy.

Angel is none of those things.

At that point, she has seen some of the women Taeddy used to be involved with, she’s seen how different they are from her.

This is why, when Angel wears a black dress (in Geraldson Residence), I thought that it was because she is trying to mirror the other women Taeddy has been with (or simply Taeddy) by trying to appear more mature (hence the black) as it is made clear that Angel’s lack of experience makes her feels insecure, however upon rereading the third chapter, I realized I was wrong.

“...That act spurred on the nickname. You only wear black now. Lesson learned and has yet to be lived down...” (Research and Development). Marina makes of fun Angel for wearing all white and starts calling her Bo-Beep from then on. In result of that altercation, Angel actively tries to distance herself from anything Bo-Beep-like, so white. So Angel does not wear black because she’s trying to change herself to become more like Taeddy’s past flings but because she’s being made fun of by her superior. (In retrospect, it was obvious I’m just dumb like that. I had this idea that Marina and Angel were trying to become more like the other for a short while. But Angel is not going to change herself for a man !!! Love that for her).

“As you draw nearer to him, however, you notice how well your outfits complement each other. Now you begin to wonder if anyone else at the party will notice it too.” IDRK WHAT TO MAKE OF THIS BUT IT FEELS SIGNIFICANT.

Her dress white and tight, but doesn’t feel nearly similar to Angel’s dress in Art Gallery, even though hers was somewhat body fitting as well. Why ? My guess is that it’s because she’s got red on. Red symbolizes passion and sexuality. Marina is trying to appear more innocent when in reality she’s not, and it seems to bleed through in her shoes and lipstick. She doesn’t look inexperienced, or even innocent. She’s hot. She’s also got on a pearl necklace... Angel was gifted one by Taeddy chapter 1. What we can conclude from this is that Marina is trying to mirror Angel but still ends up still looking so... Marina-like. Flirty, seductive, not innocent or angelic (not saying all of those things are bad, I’m simply showing how she’s not like Angel and the person Taeddy seems to be into just happens to be Angel).

In the same way Angel ‘cannot’ pull off black, Marina cannot pull off white (in Taeddy’s perspective).

The fact that Marina criticizes the way Angel dresses under the guise of a joke is telling to me (Research and Development). Granted, she might simply be picking at Angel for no reason but I can’t help but think that it might have some deeper meaning to it. White represents innocence, so she’s indirectly rejecting Angel’s innocence. I haven’t really figured out why yet. Angel’s inexperience is one of the many things Taeddy seems to love like about her so this is obvious some form of jealousy on Marina’s part but is there more ? I guess we’ll only know as the story unfolds further.

Another example of Marina borderline copying Angel is in D-D-D-Dim Sum. She wears the pearl necklace again ! It seems, at least to me, that she wears it everytime she knows she’s going to see Taeddy... MMMMH. She’s also got a black skirt and tube top on. She stopped with the white, apparently, is she switching back to what the original Marina would wear or is she mirroring Taeddy this time, as we know that his color is black. Idek 🤷🏾‍♀️.

Your theories about Taehyung's coat are very interesting. I had no idea the colours associated with jealousy are purple. I would love to affirm your suspicions about the coat and colours your first paragraph, but unfortunately, I was just replicating this Taehyung look. I didn't mean for it to be analysed in this way, though I do appreciate it.

However, the rest of your analysis is spot on. You totally picked up on everything I was trying to convey with Mrs (Anna) Geraldson. The way she dresses was meant to reflect her wealth and high standing in high society. This is pretty much the first time Angel is allowed into this world of dinner parties and polo matches. You'll find in chapter ten that she does not come from a very lavish world so the stark differences in class are also highlighted in her juxtaposition with Mrs Geraldson.

Your observations on Angel's attempts on wearing black here are also correct! She was more so trying to emulate a more mature persona, one she has witnessed from Taehyung. Insecure in her inexperience, she was trying to dress as if she had a clue when she really doesn't. Of course, Taehyung finds it all endearing. She also wears darker colours in a professional setting since she was mocked on her first day for wearing all white by one of Taehyung's ex-fuck-buddies, Marina.

However, I don't think she is really trying to change herself to be like his exes. I'm sure a part of her is actually comforted by the fact that she is nothing like them. She just doesn't want to get picked on in a professional setting and lose the respect of her co-workers because her boss has a horrible and child-ish vendetta against her. (Also, you are not at all dumb! Please don't be discouraging; you've been pretty spot on so far!!)

The rest of your analysis about Marina is on the right track. She is trying to be like Angel when she dresses in white and makes this whole show about doing so. In fact, she completely replicates Angel's look at the event in the Art Gallery, where she was first seen as Taehyung's date. The next time we see Marina at an event is at the Geraldsons' for dinner when Angel wears black. So the next time Marina knows she will be seeing Taehyung, she once again replicates Angel's outfit. Marina thinks being Angel, dressing like her, will get Taehyung back. So far, it has not.

There are a few depictions of jealousy in this fic. Marina's is outwardly, erratic and irrational. Angel's is a silent brew, constantly swallowing her pride and pushing through her feelings. Mrs Geraldson's is passive. She seems to want to push pass it out of maturity but cannot help herself from being petty every now and again. I think this distinction is important for where the rest of your observations are headed in this ask.

🍀 - What thoughts or emotions that didn’t make sense to your past self make sense now that you know you’re queer?

Oh man, this is a fun question. Alright, storytime: when I was... 13-14, ish, I had this whole sci-fi universe I'd made up in my head. I never named it or anything but I named all the characters and made up a story and stuff. The main thing was, like, a team of women who acted as bodyguards for entertainers, and they all had bug-themed codenames. The main character was Spider, and I created for her a "best friend" named Ladybug.

But the thing is, like... I wrote and thought of that "friendship" VERY INTENSELY. And as I got older I did slowly turn it into a romantic thing in my head, though I never really did anything with that story and still didn't... realize quite what it meant until later.

ALSO: I had a MASSIVE CRUSH on Samus Aran when I was 11-12 and had no idea that's what it was LMFAO but looking back holy SHIT that's what it was. I just. really liked her and things where you could see her face and I went and cropped out my favorite panels of her from the official comics and stuff. I had Pages of my old photobucket dedicated to her. babygay behavior.

ALSO ALSO: when I was like 13-14 I got obsessed with NiGHTS into Dreams, and it was the first time I'd ever encountered a character who was neither male nor female, and I just. obsessed over that detail, and learning how to draw more androgynous bodies. I had no idea why at the time, it just fascinated me. WELL. NOW I KNOW WHY.
