I never know how to respond to criticism about Romance being unrealistic. Romance is concerned with emotional truth but mostly plays fast and loose with everything else. It rearranges the stars to ensure love conquers all obstacles in the end. Of course it's not realistic? Why want Romance to be Realism? It would no longer be Romance and they'd have to invent the genre all over again.

thank you for the update <3 the post the other week did worry me, yeah. I know he's a funky boi and his time is limited but I'm glad it isn't hanging directly over his head right now.

feel free not to answer if this isn't allowed, but did you make a decision on whether duncan is staying for the time being? every time i see pictures of him i go 'ah, duncan! :D :D' and then remember... :(

There are no immediate plans to euthanize Duncan. There never really were, I just wanted to give an update and let people know how things were progressing. He does seem better since increasing his seizure medication.

I say this not to worry anyone or to be cynical but just in a realistic way: Duncan is on borrowed time. He has been for a long time, frankly. For now he seems good, but that’s not to say I won’t have to euthanize him next month. There’s just really no way of estimating how / when things will progress for him. I definitely don’t foresee it being next week, but I try to remain realistic with my sick cats. And being realistic with Duncan is saying that I have no idea how soon it will be time.

Controversial opinion? I think it's fine if Veilguard looks a little cartoony. I'm sick and tired of this constant push for hyper-realism anyway. Plus, they've put out multiple comics and an animated series. It didn't even look that cartoony; people are just overreacting (I saw someone on twitter compare it to Fortnite and that's just wrong).

Also, what's with this weird narrative about Dragon Age being this gritty series? I've only played Inquisition, but it could be very silly when it wanted. Cullen losing his clothes in a card game. Cassandra fangirling over Varric's romance series. Sera. Not to mention the continued assumption that cartoony things can't be serious, gritty, and dark. Did any of y'all watch ATLA?
