Chapter One:

I (unknowingly) Picked...You.

Though it is not late, it's dark out. For the past 2 hours, I've been driving around lost, and used up all my gas. The first gas station I see, I'm stopping. The closest person to me, I'm asking for directions. Is that the Arco, it is....

Looking back on how we crossed paths, I'm sure, the big man up above saw what was to come. That explains why ​​I ​braked a little too hard pulling up next to the pump. He was trying to Knock my ass out, stopping the first domino​ in the chain effect that surely was to follow. why the closest person to me? why did I have to pick the ​closest person to me to ask? You. You were ​the ​closest. Sigh. did you happen to see me when I stumbled around my car, having almost lost my balance​​ if I didn't grab ahold of the trunk of my car?

"Excuse me​,​ sir."

Little did I know, that ​wouldn't be the last time I called you... "sir".

"Excuse me, I'm sorry to bother you. My phone's died; I've been driving around for a couple of hours. Do you know how to get to the freeway? Preferably going north, but even if ​it's South, as long as I get on the freeway, I can find my way home​?"

I caught that quick hesitation; probably thought I was going to ask you for money huh.

​​"Ah Yeah. I can get ​ ​help ​from ​you, so what you want to do is go down this ​street."

Sigh, I have always been ​horrible at understanding verbal directions. He lost me at "Street". Before I gave up trying to remember the direction you were telling me, I did try my hardest to​ retain what you said. But after you spoke each word, they disappear from my brain completely. Did you notice when I started fighting back my tears, is that why you stopped and said,

"Ah, you know what, just follow me I'll take you to the freeway."

because you knowingly knew you were wasting your words. or was it the look of hopelessness plastered on my face? Screw it, I don't care what it was. I was just happy to know I was no longer lost.

"Oh, my God. Thank you. I really do appreciate this so much. I've been lost, driving for the last couple ​of ​hours, so thank you."

we didn't introduce ourselves to one another. that's the way it should have stayed. we should've stayed strangers, nameless strangers. If only I knew that you, a stranger would be the reason for so many of my tears later on.

As I was following you, I regret not having my glasses more than before. Why didn't I grab them before leaving home? I hate driving in unfamiliar areas, especially when it is dark out. I'm ​​sure ​an ​accident​ waiting to happen.

"Don't hit this man's car. Do not hit this man's car​,​ Hannah."

As if saying those words out loud would stop me from hitting your car if I was to. With my luck, I would accidentally hit the back of your car. And the worst part, ​​I'd have to stop. When you suddenly pulled into a dark, empty parking long, did you take into consideration that might creep me out a little? Knowing you now, no, you didn't. Had I questioned the real intentions of your generosity, or if I possibly missed the freeway. ​I must admit when you pulled into that very dark, very empty parking lot​ I was a little scared. But I always carry some sort of weapon. See growing up with anxiety, a thing called paranoia comes with it. So, carrying a weapon on me at all ​times is the result of that.

Did I, did I miss the entrance, try the ​freeway ​, ​or...?

I asked you as you leaned into my driver's window. Unknowingly to you, there was a ​knife, opened and pointed upwards toward your neck in my hand. You didn't even notice huh. (Slight smile fades) I regret not using it now. I overreacted like I always do, realizing when I finally take notice of your ​phone in your hand when you said,

"Hey, I think you're really cute. I was in the car building up the courage to stop and see if I can get your number.

​I smiled at you as an indication I'm blushing ​at your sweet attempt to flirt. Yet, in reality​,​ I'm​ really hiding my relief. I ​almost stabbed you over you just wanting to get my number. if the situation was different, I probably wouldn't give you, my number. Yet, you're going out of your way to help me, a person you didn't know. (Smiling et, in reality​,​ I'm​ really hiding my relief. I ​almost stabbed you over you just wanting to get my number. if the situation was different, I probably wouldn't give you, my number. Yet, you're going out of your way to help me, a person you didn't know. (Smiling to myself) my number is all yours. That. that right there was the moment I messed up. This is the moment where I should've ​given you a fake number, but no oh no, I just had to give you the real one. My first mistake. Or is this the second mistake? ​Nope, it's the second, my first mistake was asking the closest person for directions. However, the real thing that haunts me every fucking day! Making everything ten times worse! Knowing I caused this! Me! Because of you! You were the one!

(Tears begin to slowly fill her eyes as her head drops)

Ok here's some poetry... this is a display of one man in search of answers, never finding them, yet in hopelessness understands things...

Existence..... what a strange word. He, set out by determination & curiosity, knows no existence, knows nothing realevent to himself. The petty destinations of others & everything on this world, in this world, he knows the answers to. Yet they have no purpose to him. He seeks knowledge of the unthinkable, of the indefineable, of the unknown. He explores the everything... using his mind, the most powerful tool known to him. Not a physical barrier blocking the limits of exploration, time thru thought thru dimensions.... the everything is his realm. Yet, the more he thinks, hoping to find answers to his questions, the more come up. Amazingly, the petty things mean much to him at this time, how he wants to be normal, not this transceiver of the everything. Then, ocuring to him, the answer. How everything is connected yet seperate. By experiencing the petty others' actions, reactions, emotions, doings, [scribble] and thoughts, he gets a mental picture of what, in his mind, is a cycle. Existence is a great hall, life is one of the [scribble] rooms, death is passing thru the doors, & the ever-existant compulsion of everything is the curiosity to keep moving down the hall, thru the doors, exploring rooms, down this never-ending hall. Questions make answers, answers conceive questions, and at long last he is content.

Pandora was born into a family that didn't tolerate anything less that perfect. So, when she found out she was a seer at the age of nine, she never told anyone. Her twin brother doesn't even know about it. Nor her younger brother or sister.

She's kept it a secret, never once realevealing anything that could alter the future or unmasking her. Either way, she was a disappointment to the Rosier family. Whether it was being a seer or being sorted into Ravenclaw.

Sure, Ravenclaw is for the intelligent, but that wasn't enough. Not for her family, anyway. But it was enough for her brother. The brother that was there for everything. The brother that was there since birth. The brother that knows everything about her - but one thing. She was enough for him. For him to knowledge her - unlike Regulus' brother. She was enough.

Pandora has been seeing god-awful things. She's been seeing her friends dying. She saw her death. She saw Peter. Pandora was hoping that none of it was real. But when Regulus died, she feared it all was coming true.

Regulus died the exact way she saw he would. Drowing. When Dorcas died the exact same way she saw she would, it was becoming even more real. Then, Marlene. Again, the exact same way. Then, it was Evan. If there was one death she wished would never happen, it was his. That one broke her, and she couldn't save him.

That's when she decided to try and save the others. She thought she could do it, she really did. But when Alice and Frank died, she knew it was only a matter of time before Lily and James do, too.

She tried, she really did. But Lily and James died. In the exact way she saw they would. She even tried saving herself, but it was too late. She died trying to find a way. She would always die trying to find a way in every universe. Every realm. She saw it. Every time she tried, she died.

In every universe. She dies never finding out what could save them. Ever. But at least she's always reunited with her friends.

ally craved a tim tam 

it was late at night and she craved the feeling of a chocolate biscuit between her teeth 

she was grinding her teeth to the feeling of a tim tam

she couldn't take it anymore, she creeped out of bed and rushed to the fridge nearly falling in the process.

arriving at the fridge she opened it to reveal the brown family packet her satisfaction was nearly complete.

she reached for the packet and placed it carefully on the kitchen countertop before taking a deep breath and caressing her fingers over the ‘open here’ sign on the packet

and pulled the top back expecting to multiple brown rectangles of goodness but what does she see?
