Your Love Is My Drug
✰ rockstar! choso x reader
✰ cw: 18+ content, descriptions of sex, unprotected sex, nipple play, fingering, creampies, lots of dirty talk, slight choking, choso smoking & with a dxk piercing !
You clutched your phone sighing looking at the concert tickets your best friend had shoved in your face. "My favorite band is coming and you have to come with me! I don't wanna go alone!" she exclaimed squeezing the tickets and jumping up and down. "Yeah, fine I'll come." you smiled slightly as she hugged you tightly. "It's Friday, at 8:00 pm we can meet up at the venue! I'll take both tickets with me, but I'll see you later bye!" she waved walking out your front door. You flopped down onto the sofa chair pulling your knees to your chest laying in complete silence nothing but the tick tick of the clock on the wall filling the room. Friday. The concert is in a couple of days, giving you 4 days to prepare. If it wasn't for your friend you definitely wouldn't go, but being the good person you are you would hate to disappoint her.
Friday
The day has finally come, instead of counting down days, you were counting down hours, minutes even seconds. Dragging the sheets from your body, considering you laid in bed all day wasting time and made your way to your shower stripping the clothing you had lounged around in. The warm water slid down your skin as you exfoliated and washed your body. You did your skin care as well before turning off the shower and wrapping a fluffy white towel around you. Drying and moisturizing your body, you begin putting on your outfit and your jewelry. After styling your hair you looked at the time 6:26, meaning you need to get a move on. Putting the last few belongings in your purse, you grabbed your keys locked your door, and made your way to the venue. Fortunately, it was close to your apartment so you could walk there. Upon arriving, you could see the large crowd of fans some wearing merchandise, some dressed as their favorite member but you were looking for your friend. Almost on cue, there was a tap on your shoulder causing you to look back at the unknown person. "I'm glad you made it! C'mon let's go check-in, we got really good seats!" she grabbed your hand dragging you through the crowd.
Just your luck, the seats were in the front row giving you an up-close view of the members. The stage was still empty as music was being played through the venue to warm up the crowd. "Ah! I can't wait to see Mahito he's my favorite!" your friend squealed as the lights began to dim, spotlights replacing the main lights. You twisted in your seat nervously as you heard the riff of a guitar watching as four people made their way on stage. The crowd began cheering loudly, almost louder than the music that was playing on stage. Smoke filled the venue as the lights flashed down on the members causing the fans to scream even louder than before. "I can't believe I'm seeing Mahito in person in real-time!" your friend exclaimed causing you to chuckle. Looking up at the stage, your eyes were met with the member who had his hair pulled up into two spikey pigtails. You quickly looked away, shuffling In your seat once more. As the show went on, you prayed over and over again for it to end and finally the lights came on. "Aw I can't believe it's over already, I love The Cursed Spirits is it bad I want to put tickets to their next show too?" your friend sighed as she followed you out of the venue. "Well goodnight, get home safe okay." you smiled at her softly hugging her. Just as you turn around you feel your phone buzz.
*new message from +1 (867) 584-5421*
___? *read*
You sighed ignoring the message, feeling your phone buzz once again.
*new message from +1 (867) 584-5421*
I know you read my message. Just talk to me...please? *read*
*new message from +1 (867) 584-5421*
Please, I will send a security guard down to escort you just wait somewhere. I just want to talk to you, please.
Fine. I'm standing out front. *send*
You sighed once more standing with your arms crossed and waiting until you were approached by a bald man with a goatee wearing a pair of black glasses. "Are you _____?" you nodded your head in response as he led you to a black sprinter that was parked in a dark alleyway. Getting in, you were the only passenger to your luck. He slammed the door before hopping in the driver seat and pulling off to who knows where. After about 15 minutes, the van stopped and the door opened. Looking around you were at a fancy hotel, probably the fanciest one in the city. You followed the bald man to the elevator, waiting as the music filled the silence between you two. The door opened as he led you to a room in the back of the hotel. He disappeared leaving you to knock slowly at the door.
After about a minute you hear soft clicks before the door opens allowing you to walk into the spacious room.
"It's been a while" that familiar voice rang causing you to turn your head. You let out a deep breath before responding, "What do you want?" you stared up at him. You'd be lying if you were to say he didn't get even more attractive or perhaps it's the fact that it's been too long since you last seen him. "I want to work on us," he stated. "Work on us? There is no us? We broke up six months ago." you huffed eyebrows furrowing slightly. You watched him make his to the chair, pulling out a cigarette in the process before lighting it ablaze. "That's what I want to work on. The fact that there is no us," he said blowing out the smoke and leaning into the chair. "Choso, we broke up," you replied. "And we can get back together." he took another drag of the cigarette. "I still love you. I know you still love me, if you didn't you would have gone back home and ignored me. I didn't force you to come here, I just asked nicely." he blew the smoke of the cigarette out. He wasn't lying, you did have feelings for him still. He can tell by the sudden contortion of your face that you were in deep thought.
He put the cigarette in the ashtray putting it out and made his way over to you. You felt his cool hands grab your face suddenly making you look up toward him. His soft lips made their way to your own as he began kissing you gently. Standing on your tippy toes you pulled him in closer, deepening the kiss missing the feeling of his cold lip ring on your warm lips. "Jump" he demanded as you followed his strong hands gripping onto your lower thighs. He swiped his tongue across your bottom lip making you open your mouth slightly as this tongue slid against your own. You moaned into the kiss as he began walking over to the countertop, sitting you down gently hands now finding their way to the plump of your ass. Your hands fiddled with his shirt signaling him to remove it granting you access to his toned muscular chest. Breaking the kiss once more, you quickly removed your own top and fortunately, you hadn't been wearing a bra. He peppered kisses from your lips, down to your jaw to your collar bone finally stopping at your full breast. Taking his right hand he began tweaking your sensitive buds before replacing his hand with his warm tongue making you arch your back slightly. He sucked greedily at your nipple making sure to leave the bud satisfied before switching to your left. He sucked at your left bud, using his free hand to snake its way to your bottoms pushing down the material along with your panties. You felt a finger swipe at your slit and gather the juices that had quickly formed, "So wet already. Fuck I missed you so bad." His ring finger circled your entrance accompanied by his middle finger before he pushed both fingers in causing you to let out a series of moans. He sucked at your neck as he began moving his fingers in a "come here motion" "Fuck." He groaned the sound of your own arousal turning him on even more as each thrust of his fingers released a squelching pop noise. He could tell you were close to cumming as he pulled his fingers out making you let out a disapproving sigh. "Need you to cum on my dick baby, not on my fingers." He quickly shuffled out of his pants causing his hardened dick to spring free, precum leaking over the piercing. He rubbed his dick up and down your slit using your juices to coat his tip, the feeling of the cold metal brushing against your clit was just enough to almost make you cum on the spot. You arched your back slightly, letting out a high-pitched moan as you felt him push himself into your heat. "Fuck I missed this pussy so bad" His words alone were more than enough to get your juices flowing. "Always nice and wet for me, shit have you always been this tight." he pushes into you creating a steady pace. You wrap your legs around his waist, pushing him in even deeper than before feeling his piercing nudge at your G-spot. "Ah fuck fuck fuck feel so fucking good I can't" You throw your head back as his hard rough stroked continues to make your legs grow weak. "Who's pussy is this huh?" he groans in your ear rough strokes choking you up. He wraps his hand around your throat, tightening it just enough to allow you to still breathe. "I-It's yours" You throw your head back feeling your release build up. "Pussy so wet fuck, I'm gonna cum. Are you still on the pill?" his thrust never slowed down going faster and rougher than before. You nodded your head. "Good I'm gonna fill you up with my cum, and down waste a single drop" he tightens the grip on your throat fucking into you roughly his thrust getting more sloppy. "Fuccck" With a final snap of his hips he feels you pulsate around him causing him to cum deep inside you. The room was silent as you both caught your breath, a comfortable silence. "So are we back together?"

I closed the cell door behind him. The handcuffs were gone again, of course, but we'd long since run out of real pairs and zip ties we had on us, and didn't particularly feel like exhausting the storage room's supplies. Davis started giving him the talk about getting a phone call and all and the perp suddenly says "Look" with the kind of loud voice you can hear in your teeth.
He pulls out a locket from under his shirt (didn't Davis already search him? Why am I surprised...) and holds it up to the bars. "Look here, and listen."
I step forward and look at the odd object. It looks uncomfortable to wear against your skin, but I was never much one for jewelry anyway. No one was much surprised the tomboy became a cop, after all.
It's a crystal shape, like two pyramids attached together. It's a sort of shimmering black color with a tinge of red around the edges. But in the middle...
I look closer. There's a circle, beige, with wispy lines of white and orange mixed through it, like a badly mixed coffee with way too much milk. I momentarily get the feeling like I'm looking down from a great height.
I shake my head. Davis is asking what it is. The suspect shakes his head and puts it back under his shirt. "Just tell your boss this: Where is Venus?"
Weird little creep.
You go back to your work, trying and mostly failing to explain how that arrest went. You're pretty sure an official support shouldn't use the phrase "somehow" and "apparently" that many times. You're certainly going to have to explain this one, no way is this going to be accepted without further review.
Your near-antique desk phone rings. It's the chief. "I just got off a very stern phone call. I need you to let out the prisoner in cell 13 immediately. Don't worry about procedure, I'm sending this as an order in writing, just give them any shit you confiscated and show them the door. And I mean immediately. I'm coming down there now to sign the release papers that were just faxed to me, I want them out of the building in less than 5 minutes. Is that understood?"
You gulp. "yes sir. I'm on the way over now."
You're not even surprised when you unlock the cell that the fucker is in there playing on his phone. You personally confiscated that, you're sure. Maybe the geek had a couple phones, and hid one of them? You did a pretty comprehensive pat-down... Ew.
Davis walks up with the goods bag, but he's got his usual confused look twice as bad at the moment. Before he can even say the problem, you can see it from what he's holding. Or rather, what he's not. The transparent bag is empty, the seal is still in place.
Before you can even explain that you've somehow lost his stuff, the perp is standing up and telling you not to worry about their stuff. The Chief is still on the way and he's supposed to be here for this, but from that phone call it sounded like he didn't want any delays. You turn the key in the lock, and the mechanism engages, automatically sliding the door open.
Your oddest arrest of your career (and there has been some competition!) walks out the door, tugs at his shirt, and says a quick dismissive thanks, before heading down the hall towards a glowing exit sign.
The Chief finally shows up as he's walking away, and is visibly out of breath. You hand him the clipboard with the papers to sign, and he wheeze out a thanks, after a coughing fit that leaves him buckled over and giving you the most marvelous view of his shiny, shiny bald spot.
"so who was it who called to spring that jerk, if you don't mind me asking?"
"it was a conference call. That was the director of NASA and the President"
"of... NASA?"
"no, of the country."
"oh, my. Can he order the release of a prisoner?"
"I mentioned exactly that while I was on the phone, and I'm not sure of his exact wording but it was something like 'shut up, do it now, or there'll be a Black Hawk dropping a squad of marines in your parking lot in 15 minutes, and they'll do it for you.'"
"Jesus!"
"so I said 'yes sir, will do'. He said the DOJ will figure out the justification later."
"This isn't over, is it? We're gonna be doing paperwork and lawsuits over that little fu... freak for a while, aren't we?"
"probably. But get this: The president himself told me not to mention this to anyone, but since you were there I think you should know. Besides, I haven't signed anything yet... Remember how the director of NASA was on the line too?"
"yeah, that was odd. What's this guy, some renegade astronaut who's late for his flight or something?"
"no idea. But apparently his magician talents don't end with pulling rabbits from hats and escaping from your handcuffs. They think he somehow palmed the planet Venus."
You blink slowly. "what"
"yeah. Whole damn planet is gone. NASA is not happy. The military is very worried."
"about Venus?"
"No, more about what else he can do, I imagine. If he can grab a planet out of the sky, what could else can he do? Borrow a tank? Steal a nuke? Drop the moon on DC?"
"I see their point."
Your walk-and-talk comes to its end as you arrive back at your office. You look at the big windows, and you can see the strange man still crossing the parking lot. He pauses by a squad car, then looks back at the window, before giving you a big thumbs up.
The Chief has to stop you from running after him, as he opens the door to your car and drives off. "Don't. We'll figure this out, I'll get you another vehicle. I am not getting an angry call from the dang president TWICE in one day."
You're never going to finish the paperwork from today, you can feel it in your bones.
#my writing#This was an old story idea from years ago that I never got around to writing out#Dunno if it'll go anywhere else#Probably not

luo && jesse. (backdated - early summer, 2023) located in: luo's antique shop. / @waltzedd
jesse’s always had a monster living inside of him. it’s a beast battering at his ribcage, waiting for his guard to drop so it can claw its way out and take control of his body. the good thing is since hitting his early teens he’s learned how to keep it under lock and key. and now, aged 22, he hasn’t let it slip out in months… but sometimes jesse finds himself taking deep breaths in the back of the shop, fists clenched so hard that they’re trembling... sometimes he feels it rear its head inside of him.
“i’m never taking this fucking shift again,” says jesse. it’s a lie, he’ll be back same time tomorrow, wiping down all the dusty surfaces and changing the window display, while the crickets sing outside of the glass doors. he lets out a breath, reaching over to turn the way a little porcelain mermaid statuette is facing. “never again.” he’d said that two days ago. jesse copes by pitching his voice in a purposefully insulting facsimile of luo’s voice - “‘jesse, why’d you move the entire jewelry stand?’” pause. “because it’s fucking expensive and you said put the expensive shit in the back - you remember that? but no... now it’s why'd you do that and how’d you get that all the way over there - like obviously you wouldn’t know real strong men shit…”
grumbling, he lifts the thing up again, straining a little as he penguin-walks it back towards the front of the store in its original place.
it’s not a bad place to work. it’s usually chill; jesse mostly just cleans and helps people find stuff - the clientele attracted by an antique store tend to be the quiet type. of course, there are the other, less-chill variety of people - but usually he’ll turn his gaze away and call for luo, ringing at the brass bell on the counter an exorbitant amount of times until the other boy finally materializes.
so, yeah… it’s not bad, but when a pair of jade earrings and a couple necklaces fall off the jewelry stand in all the movement, he juts his chin at his coworker, wiping his hands off on his shorts.
jesse is not picking that up.
“you gonna pick that up?” says jesse.

after sending the text, logan makes his way to the jewelry store. it's obvious she READY for him, but he's willing to make her wait. keeping her waiting was just another way he liked to test her love. logan had never been like this with any other partner (though, he liked to keep cecilia unaware of this; JEALOUSY is the perfect way to fuel passion, he felt). but with cecilia it just felt RIGHT. at first it really felt like he was taking advantage of his position, as her professor, but soon he learned that they both liked that power imbalance.
logan isn't a rich man. hell, cecilia's family makes far more than he could ever imagine... though he does imagine she's more than happy to give him that family money. but it isn't as FUN if he's not the one providing for her. she doesn't need fancy jewelry or designer clothes from him—usually he'll tell her what to buy to keep his eyes satisfied. but this purchase was a little more symbolic.
quickly he buys the cutest chain. it's thick and has a couple diamonds, but the most important part is the LOCK that keeps the necklace together. a real lock that looks more like a fancy pendant, but is fully functional with a key that only he would have. it's a purchase he's debated for a while now. and now that she's living in an apartment for him? the perfect time to get it for her. and after the jewlery store? he makes his way to the nearest convinence store to buy packs of pregnancy tests. it's obvious that he's SERIOUS about breeding the cute slut.
once the purchase is made, with the shopping bag in hand, he makes it back to the new apartment. it isn't the most furnished; logan opted to let cecilia at least add her own personality into the place—plus he's sure she'll make sure everything is to his liking as well, as long as she wants him to be there with her.
logan enters the place casually, as if he doesn't have a SLUTTY student on her knees ready for him. he sets his laptop bag down along with his keys on the table by the door. when he walks into the living room he smiles and gently pats her face as he passes by her and makes his way to the couch and sits down, placing the shopping bag to the side of him. "you look pretty." he compliments, hand already massaging his BULGE in his pants. "let's get some ground rules for OUR new apartment." logan smirks, motioning for her to come towards him.
"you're a part of the furniture." he explains. "i own you like i own everything else in this place." even with such sadistic words, his eyes look at her like he LOVES her. "you crawl or stay on your knees whenever i'm home. unless told otherwise." the rules were INSANE or they would be to any normal couple. but these two have proven that they weren't like any others. "and finally no boys here." the male hums, trying to hide his own jealousy. "and if there are any girls here when i come over, they better be willing to join us."
the remainder of cecilia’s morning passes in a haze, classes melting in to one another as her body still thrummed with energy from what they had done. cum stained thighs would rub together every few minutes, a salacious reminder of what a PERFECT place she was to dump himself inside. the photos came as a surprise, a vibration in her bag that made her lips curl into a sweet smile — how pretty was she, logan’s milky seed coating her face? god she was BEAUTIFUL. personally, cecilia thought the one of him stuffing her little asshole was her favourite, the way you could see her hands fisting the skirt that was hanging around her waist. “i remember all of it daddy. i look so pretty don’t i? makes me wet looking at them.”
it was a pathetic change of her persona, how she so easily ignored the world around her to focus on that screen, those FILTHY photos of herself that would ruin her old life if anyone else seen them. the girl she was now with logan was a stranger to her previous self, brain practically LEAKING from her ears as she bent over backwards to please her sweet daddy. when the videos come through the femme had to excuse herself, edging into the bathroom so she could watch herself being used by the man she loved — how her body was his playground. hand snaked between slim thighs, a brushing over cum damp folds as her on screen self whimpered and gagged.
the first chance she got cecilia excused herself from her day, classes later in the afternoon missed because HE was more important than a useless degree. key fit so perfectly into the lock of THEIR space, the place she would call her home from now on. that final message received sends the student into a fit of giggles, excitement making her limbs squirm as she quickly ditches all of her clothing minus that sweet skirt and black lace bra. logan wants her kneeling and so that’s exactly what cecilia does ; at the entrance to the living room she settles herself, hands on her thighs and breath catching in her throat.

Inspired by this post I saw circulating today. @circism @imsodishy @andromedaspark @stranger-rants (and anyone else who added inspiration in the tags who I may have missed)
Billy likes dangly earrings.
Remembers when his mom would wear them—how they’d swing as she moved. When she caught him watching once, when he was small, she let him try on this old clip-on pair that had belonged to his grandmother. He couldn’t look away from himself in the mirror—tilting his chin this way and that so they caught the light as they moved.
She made him take them off before Neil came home.
He only got his ear pierced for real a couple years after she left. Partly to piss Neil off. Partly because he’d unearthed a box of clutter that had survived the purge—when Neil tossed all the stuff she’d left behind.
All the stuff except for Billy, though he might as well have.
Anyway. Amongst the detritus—the flattened souvenir pennies from the pier, the old receipts, the spare key to nothing, never done to-do lists—had been a few uncoupled earrings. He’d never considered how so with socks, so too with anything that came in pairs: the inevitable loss of one. And here lay the poor abandoned souls, forever parted from their partners.
One was a small silver stud, which he pocketed. The other was clearly from her free-wheeling hippie days—this slender gold feather hanging from a short chain. He’d kept it safe, and when the piercing healed, he’d tipped his head, fed the post through his earlobe as he’d walked to the bathroom. Stared at his reflection in the vanity awhile.
He still has them—those two incomplete pairs. And in the years since, he’d made a habit of adding to the collection whenever the opportunity arose. That bitch who mocked him for crying after sex sophomore year? He took one of her favorite platinum hoops, over an inch big across. Felt like a pirate whenever he had it in (but goofy, like Pirates of Penzance, so he only wore that one in private). Or if he saw a tempting set hanging in a rack at the department store, it was too easy to snag one, leave the other bereft. Gave him a thrill, like he was some deranged crow hoarding a very specific kind of shine.
He knows Neil hates the dangly ones. Barely tolerates the tiny ones, the studs or hoops, but hates the dangly ones. Because something about the way they sway from from Billy’s ear—it translates to his hips, to his stride. Which would be enough to set Neil off, the tight-ass, but all that, coupled with the wild fall of Billy’s hair, his shirt unbuttoned down to there, the drip of jewelry at his ear…
Makes him see red.
For a time there, Billy was careful what to wear, and when. Didn’t want to poke the bear. But at some point he realized—the bear didn’t need poking to attack. And that was freeing, in a way.
So now he rocks the dangly ones whenever he wants. Whenever the mood strikes, and if Neil strikes back—well. At least Billy saved him some time, didn’t need to go looking for an excuse.
And it’s worth it, to bear this sign that rings so right. The swing of the earring. The swing of his mind. His moods. The swing of his fist. Whose fist? Who cares. The swing of his walk. The swing of the wheel. The swing of his heart.
Locked in place, swinging free.
#billy hargrove#and his dangly earrings#but what if the earring#is a metaphor#you guys#i cannot express how shitty this day was#but#writing this helped#thank you fandom

Fighting with the Girlfriends
Vince
-100000000% deserves it, whatever it is, whatever she screams, throws at him or does he did something to deserve it
-Gets mad when she is emotional about him doing something that hurts her feelings
-”Babe, that’s what happens when you date a rockstar”
-Doesn’t bother him seeing a girl cry, actually kind of pisses him off and he acts like it’s manipulating
-Blames other people instead of taking responsibility for his actions
-”If you didn’t fly in a day early you wouldn't have caught me” or “We have someone to do our laundry. You didn’t trust me and were looking to start a fight”
-Feels bad but just deflects everything
-Tries to make up by intimacy like hugs and touches instead of just sex. Offers things like alone time and vacations to reconnect
-You have very nice jewelry because he is not very good at not cheating but is very good at picking out diamonds.
-Feels worse when other people judge him for his mistakes and know the shit he puts you through
-If you yell at him the Diva will leave whatever building he is in
-Willl sleep in the guesthouse because he is a pouty princess
-If he is on the road he will avoid calls so that he doesn’t have to deal with his real life problems but will send flowers, candy, and expensive gifts because that's his bandaid solution
-He needs a therapist for himself and relationships but he fucked his last therapist so you’re stuck in this shitty cycle with him
Mick
- “I’m not fighting.”
-Literally will do anything to avoid a fight.
-Has been known to vanish until she is calm enough to forget or forgive him for whatever bullshit that he pulled
-Sends red roses with a note that makes her feel better
-Makes promises that he will do better and actually tries to put in an effort
-Do not cry in front of him because it will fry his fucking mind and he will need to drink himself into a stupor
-If you lock yourself in the room he’d just stand outside the door waiting for you to be reasonable but would respect you need time
-No one is going to sleep mad because he wants to fix things so this is not a lingering issue
-When someone is being moody or trying to start a fight he will literally throw them in the pool
-Will leave a semi threatening voice message if he’s on the road with a time he will call back and you will talk about whatever going on
-Could be a couples therapist in another life
Tommy
-Everybody is crying during this fight. It’s literally a lot of tears and apologies
-This is the best makeup sex
-If he’s mad at you he’s a fucking lunatic though. Like flipping tables, throws shit through windows. Lots of red flags but when he realizes he’s a lunatic everything gets tones down and you are on the same emotional wave length
-Holding each other naked in bed to comfort each other
-”Do you want to go get matching tattoos so we feel close?”
-If he messes up he tries to hide it because he doesn’t want to hurt you. Like he generally knows he’s done something bad and he always feels so insecure about losing you
-He wouldn't want to leave your side for WEEKS because he’d be so worried about you being mad as soon as he’s gone
-Kind of codependent so fighting feels weird
-Tommy yells when he is mad, which feels super out of character and makes you cry which then throws him off balance because he doesn’t want to be the bad guy
-”Why are we fighting again?”
-Locking yourself inside and eating ice cream and watching movies for days together as couples therapy
-Tommy beats himself up after fights and can really sink into these bad spots because of it. He loves so deeply and he can’t help but feel deeply too
Nikki
-Honestly, this asshole must love to fight because he pushes all of your buttons knowing he’s making you mad
-So you push all his buttons which makes him mad because he is super jealous and honestly can not take his own game
-You can be fighting in public with your eyes but no one knows what’s going on
-That quiet car ride that is filled with either pure silent rage or anxiety. It can really go either way depending on the mood
-Nikki is a slam his hands on tables, slam the door, throw his keys down type of hissy fit princess
-Gets mad and jealous so easy but doesn’t understand if anyone else gets jealous
-Is kind of an asshole and says shit that he probably will regret because he’s a moody bitch
-”Don’t raise your voice at me, sweetheart, or you’re going to regret it”
-If he makes you cry he feels bad and kind of freezes unsure what to do
-Nikki always apologizes because he knows he is flawed and can admit it
-Will hold you, play with your hair
-When you fight you’re kind of turned on because angry Nikki is super sexy and even though jealousy is shitty it’s kind of hot that he’s crazy about you
-If he can’t be there he will call to check in or leave voice messages.
-He will send hand written letter letting you know he is sorry
-Would also light the couch on fire before sleeping on it so you’re stuck with this moody grump

Just the Time
Summary: Part 2 to my fic Overtime. When Jay finally acquires the perfect ring for Hailey, he can’t decide on a plan to propose. However, his plans may need to shift when Hailey catches him in a lie.
Writer’s Note: Hi everyone!! I hope you are all surviving hiatus okay! I never thought I’d actually make a part 2 to Overtime (my first fic ever!), but that Upstead proposal had me feeling some type of way. So, in the spirit of proposals I thought it would be a perfect time to write part 2. You don’t have to read Overtime to know what’s going on, but it does provide additional context! As always, thank you so much for reading!!
“It’s perfect,” Jay said as he admired the beautifully dainty piece of jewelry that was finally his and soon to be Hailey’s. An uncontrollable smile came across his face thinking about finally giving it to her, and he knew it was going to be a hard secret to keep.
“I’ll go get a box for you,” the woman behind the counter told him with a friendly smile before disappearing into a back room.
It had been a long few months of saving money and taking overtime shifts, but he finally had enough to buy the ring. It wasn’t a fun or easy journey. He was working normal Intelligence cases, then putting on his old patrol uniform and working night shifts any time they came available. The first gig he and Hailey did together. She thought it was his idea of an unorthodox date and she jumped at the opportunity to see him on patrol, but when he continued to pursue overtime gigs without her, she began to question why he was so desperate for money. He was able to come up with an excuse that he wanted to do some modifications to his truck. Luckily, she wasn’t invested enough to question him further, but the extra work was beginning to wear him down and this did not go unnoticed by her. Seeing him continue to take the gigs despite how exhausted he was, led her to question his intentions once again. He was only one paycheck away from finally having enough money to pay off the ring when she suggested he slow things down for a while to recover from the heavy load he had taken on. He agreed and her skepticism began to cool back down.
The drive home was spent with a hundred ideas circulating in his brain about the proposal. He’d been trying to come up with an idea since he picked out the ring, but his indecisiveness stood in the way of any real plans. Their one year anniversary was coming up, and he knew he wanted to propose then, however, he just wasn’t sure how. Proposing after just one year together may be too soon for any normal couple, but they weren’t any normal couple. He spent years loving her, wasting time burying his feelings, but now he was done wasting time. She was his future, his forever person, and he wanted to make that official.
The ring was perfect, he just needed a proposal that matched its level of unique simplicity. He knew her, and he knew she wouldn’t want anything too traditionally girly or extravagant, but he also knew she deserved something special. Not something cliche like popping the question in a restaurant or hiding the ring in the bottom of a champagne glass. It needed to be deeper than that and it needed to represent them, he just wasn’t sure what that would look like. His brainstorming was cut short when he pulled up outside of their building. He eyed the ring resting on the seat beside him, and he knew whatever idea he came up with wouldn’t hold a flame to the happiness he’d have when he finally slipped that ring on her finger. He didn’t want to bring the box up to the apartment on the off chance she would accidentally come across it. She was an elite detective after all. So, he locked it in the glove compartment of his truck and made his way upstairs.
“There you are!” He heard her call out from the kitchen as he opened the door. The smell of coffee and waffles filled the room, and he smiled to himself, knowing her weekend routine like the back of his hand.
“Hi, beautiful,” he told her, making his way around the counter to leave a peck on her lips.
A frown came across her face when he pulled away as her eyes traveled down to his empty hands before making their way back up to his face.
“I thought you said you were going to the store?” She questioned, her brow furrowed as the words left her mouth.
It took everything in him not to express the panic in his mind. In the excitement of finally getting the ring, he forgot to actually go to the store, the errand he told her he was running when she questioned why he was quietly escaping the bed earlier that morning.
“I- well I got out the door and Will called saying he needed my help. He locked himself out of his car, so he called me for the spare. By the time I got over there, I figured it would be too late to go to the store, so I just came back here. I can go out after work,” he told her, leaning forward to leave another light kiss on her lips. He was grateful for his experience in undercover that allowed him to think of an excuse on the fly.
She nodded, but she wasn’t fully convinced of his story. She grew up in an environment that had her consistently questioning the truth behind what she was told by her loved ones. She never felt the need to do that with Jay, something she found comfort in. But in that moment, she noticed a familiar hesitation in his voice that made her uneasy. He also seemed nervous, and she wasn’t quite sure why. Yet, she trusted him, so she decided to let it rest. She knew if it were important enough, he would tell her whatever it was when he was ready. Jay was just relieved that she didn’t press him further.
They had breakfast together before heading into work. It was a strange day. They hadn’t been called onto a new case all morning, so they spent the day catching up on paperwork. It was the type of day that had Adam climbing the walls, but everyone else was grateful for the rare quiet. Particularly, Jay, who took advantage of the quiet by conjuring up proposal ideas in his head.
By the end of the day, they were all dragging, running off of coffee and pacing the bullpen floor between their bouts of paperwork.
“Alright, everyone is coming out to Molly’s tonight. I don’t care if you already have plans. Cancel them. After this slow ass day, we’re popping things off tonight,” Adam announced, shoving himself away from his desk and rising from his chair the second it was six o’clock.
After heading out of the district, they all made their way to Molly’s to meet Adam’s wishes. Adam was already there when Jay and Hailey arrived, sitting next to an amused looking Kevin who watched his friend challenge a bunch of Squad 3 guys to a drinking challenge.
Jay settled at a table near the back as Hailey made her way to the bar to get them drinks, leaving a kiss against his temple and sliding a hand across his back before stepping away. Will was at the bar, engaged in a conversation with Herrmann when she walked up.
“Hey Will,” she said, nudging her shoulder against his as she stepped up to the bar.
“Hey there,” he replied back with a smile, bringing his glass to his lips.
“Two beers please,” she said to Herrmann in a sweet tone before settling on the barstool next to the doctor.
“So did you end up finding your keys?” She asked, remembering the story Jay had told her earlier that morning.
“Uh, what?” Will questioned, sending her a look of confusion.
“Your keys? Jay said he had to meet you this morning to give you the spare…” her voice trailed off, a feeling of suspicion building up in her stomach at Will’s clueless expression.
“Oh… yeah…” he let out as his eyes travelled over to his brother across the bar. “Yeah, I found them in my locker at work. Late shift last night, must have just blanked,” he admitted unconvincingly. Hailey’s eyes narrowed at him, and she bobbed her head slowly as she began to officially question why the two of them were lying to her. Herrmann set the drinks in front of her on the bar, and she thanked him, sending a departing nod to Will before making her way back over to Jay.
“So, Will found his keys,” she said, setting the bottles on the table between her and Jay before sliding onto the chair across from him.
“Wait, what?” He asked, causing her to raise a questioning brow at him, anger rising in her chest. He looked at her and then over at Will, confusion still forestalling his understanding. Then it hit him. His cover from earlier.
“Why are you lying to me Jay?” She questioned straightly, a steely tone in her voice.
“What? No, I-“ he paused. He couldn’t lie to her again, but he also couldn’t tell her the truth without ruining the surprise. He sighed in defeat. “Look right now, I can’t tell you where I was. It’s nothing bad. I promise. I just can’t tell you and need you to trust me,” he pleaded.
Her lips folded together, and she nodded in annoyance before rising from her chair to walk away.
“Hailey, wait,” he said, grabbing gently at her arm before she could make her way past him.
“No, Jay. I don’t do lying and you know that. Whatever it is, good or bad, you could have just said you couldn’t tell me yet and I would have respected that. Instead, you lied, but don’t worry your brother did too,” she shook her head with frustration. Suddenly, an eerie feeling of déjà vu brought her back to the many times as a kid when her mother would cover her father’s stories and excuses with even more lies. “I’m going home,” she told him, tearing away from his grasp.
“Let me at least drive you,” he said, a softness in his eyes.
“No, I’ll call a car,” she said before walking away and out to the street.
Will must have noticed their interaction and was making his way over to his brother.
“Dude, what the hell is going on?” He questioned, sliding into the chair Hailey had just fled from.
“I picked up the ring this morning and had to lie about where I was so she wouldn’t find out. Now, she’s pissed,” Jay said, taking a large swig from his bottle.
“Why don’t you just go tell her?” Will questioned.
“I want it to be perfect. She deserves something special, and I haven’t had the chance to figure out what that is yet. Now is just not the time,” he admitted.
“Or now is just the time. Jay, no matter how you ask that girl, she’s going to say yes a million times over. There may never be a perfect time or place to ask her, and if you wait too long, it may be too late to get the answer you want. Don’t ruin this thing you’ve got because you’re too stuck in your head. The two of you are meant for each other, I know it. So don’t overthink it. Just do it,” Will shrugged, bringing a hand to Jay’s shoulder as he tried to talk sense into him. Jay nodded at his words, rising from his chair to go chase after her.
“Hailey,” he called out as he caught sight of the blonde waiting at the corner.
“Jay, I’m really not in the mood,” she breathed out, her body still facing the street.
“Hailey, please. I just need you to trust me.”
“Jay, you know I trust you,” she said, twirling around to face him. “I’ve trusted you from the day I met you-” she got out, and suddenly it clicked in his head. He knew exactly where and how he wanted to ask her. He pulled out his keys, clicking the lock for his truck before grabbing her hand and pulling her towards it.
“Jay, what are you doing?” She protested, pulling away as he tried to drag her towards the truck.
“Hailey, please. Cancel your ride and get in the truck, we have to go back to the district,” he said, continuing to pull her with him.
“The district? Jay, what is going on?” She frowned, planting her feet firmly when they reached outside the passenger door of his truck.
“I’m going to tell you everything, just get in the truck.”
She eyed him, crossing her arms as she stood her ground.
He stepped closer to her, hunching over so he was eye level with her and bringing his face inches away from hers.
“Get. In. The. Truck. Please,” he whispered. She gave in, shaking her head in annoyance before climbing in. He leaned forward, stealing a kiss from her lips, eliciting an eye roll and a reluctant smile out of her.
“For the record, I’m still pissed at you,” she said.
“Hopefully not for long,” he teased before shutting the door.
Back at the district, he turned off the engine, jumping from the driver’s seat and running to her side of the truck to open the door.
“Jay. What are we doing here?” She questioned. He brought a finger up to his lips in response before offering her a hand to get out of the truck. Once she was out, he reached in, grabbing the ring from his glove compartment before putting it in his pocket and shutting the door. He grabbed her hand, leading her into the building and up the stairs into the district. He held tightly to her as he dragged her upstairs to the bullpen, the baffled look on her face growing the deeper into the district they went. Finally, he pulled her past the desks, through the dark hallway, and into the observation room. He turned on the low light and shut the door, moving to lean up against the glass as he eyed her perplexed and annoyed face across from him. He took a deep breath.
“This is not at all where I imagined we’d end up tonight,” he admitted, a slight smile on his face.
“Then why are we here?” She mocked, now equal parts annoyed and curious by his actions.
“You know to anyone else in the district, this is just a lowly observation room. A horribly lit, tiny little room they probably don’t even think twice about. But to me? To me this room…it’s special,” he said, taking a beat as his eyes circled the room before finding their way back to her.
“Three years ago we stood in this room as completely different people. You were with someone else, I was just beginning to come out of a bad place, and everything was just… different. But you said something to me that day that changed my life forever. I was in here beating myself up over a case, one that you backed me up with when I gave you no reason to, and you told me you trusted me from the day you met me. Same way you did tonight. You said that if you were to follow someone blind, you’d follow me. Well, that was the moment I realized I was in love with you, and every day since then, I’ve loved you Hailey Upton,” he said, tears filling his eyes as he smiled through his words. “Every moment with you since then, to the moment we kissed in that bar, to now, you have filled my heart in ways I never knew could be filled. A few months ago when you and Kim were working that UC case in that bar, there was a brief period of time when I thought I had lost you. That night, I decided I didn’t want to feel that way again. I decided I wanted to be with you forever. We’re better together, and the same way that you told me you’d follow me, I’m going to follow you… for the rest of my life,” he said, pulling the ring from his pocket and dropping to his knee.
“Hailey Anne Upton, marry me,” he breathed out. It wasn’t a question, it wasn’t a command, it was a heartfelt plea that felt so natural falling from his lips. He watched as tears welled up in her eyes and a smile grew across her face. She stepped forward, cupping the sides of his face in her hands before nodding.
“I’ll marry you, Jay Halstead,” she affirmed as tears spilled out from her eyes. She kissed him hungrily, following his lips as they pulled back and tugged at hers. He stood, grabbing her up in his arms without breaking away, gently lifting her feet from the floor. Eventually, they pulled apart and she took in the sight of the ring for the first time. It was so perfect, and though she wasn’t much of a jewelry girl, she loved everything about it. Jay took it out of the box and slipped it onto her finger before wrapping her in his arms and twirling her around.
“Is this why you were working overtime so much?” she questioned, her glossy eyes continuing to spill out tears as he planted her back on her feet. He nodded.
“So you’re not actually doing modifications to your truck?” she questioned with a laugh, still trying to catch up to reality.
“No,” he laughed. “And this morning I never intended to go to the store. I was picking this up at the jeweler,” he laughed, playing with her hand that rested in his as he spoke.
“I’m sorry for lying. I never meant to hurt you, can you forgive me?” He questioned. She looked down at the ring on her finger and then back up at him.
“I guess,” she teased sarcastically, with a sly smile before rising on her tip toes and wrapping her arms tightly around his neck.
As Jay held her in his arms, he knew his brother was right. It was just the time, and he was surprisingly glad he didn’t have to wait until their anniversary. All of that overthinking would have never led to a moment more perfect than that one. Taking her back to that place he realized his love for her, a place that was so uniquely them wasn’t anything he could have planned without the spontaneity of that night. The ring was on her finger, and they were going to be each other’s forever, nothing could have been more perfect than that.

sarah bustled around her room like it was on fire. her clothes were thrown messily on her floor and she had half of her hair up in a crazy-looking bun. you laughed from where you snuggled into her pillow. you were still rubbing the sleep out of your eyes, having woken up to the closet doors groaning open.
“oh my god, where the hell did i put them?” sarah said, but you knew she wasn’t asking you in particular. her hands dug through a basket in her closet.
sitting up, you figured now was as good a time as any to get moving. with sarah leaving soon, you didn’t feel comfortable just lying in her bed like she insisted. given that you were best friends, and her house was your house, and vice versa, you jumped at the opportunity of leaving. she always offered the possibility of you staying longer than you wanted because she was a good friend.
which was why when you cleared your throat and tasted her brother, your cheeks lit up with a steady burning fire. you were glad her back was to you as she switched bikini tops, replacing the blue for the yellow. were you ashamed or reminiscing? there wasn’t time to think about it as she finished getting ready.
“you’re more than welcome to stay, you know. i feel bad running out on you.” sarah repeated once more.
“it’s fine. go have fun with john b and fill me in later.” you wiggled your eyebrows at her as you gathered your things and threw on your sweatshirt.
“how about we order some takeout and binge watch how to get away with murder next weekend?”
“that would be great.”
sarah beamed at you before leading you out of her room and down the stairs. you kept your eyes straight but noted the ajar door to rafe’s room. maybe he had already left for the day.
“morning!” rose chirped happily as you followed sarah into the kitchen. it all seemed very familiar as you walked in, even though you’d been in the cameron’s kitchen more times than you could count, but also because the last time had been less than six hours ago.
everybody was awake and doing something. wheezie was eating freezer waffles, ward had a few manila folders splayed in front of him on the table, and rose was cutting up oranges. sarah gave her a hug from behind as she passed and then turned to smack rafe’s back lightly as he cooked something on the stove.
you breathed in sharply at the sight of him. you blinked last night’s events away given that his entire family was right in front of you and now was not the time to think about it. you reminded yourself not to give anything away with your best friend in the same room. but you also wondered if rafe thought the same thing. would he try to hide it?
“you two sleep okay? i turned the air off since it was so nice out last night.” rose said.
you caught rafe’s eye when he looked over, that tiny jolt going up your arms. your feet melted into the floor and rose looked over at you with a sweet smile as sarah leaned on her other side.
“i was pretty comfortable,” sarah shrugged and took a slice of orange.
“you girls hungry? i’m sure rafe could make something up.”
“i’m going out with john b. he should be here in a few minutes.”
“y/n?” rose lifted her perfect brows as you stood at the end of the island, holding all of your things tightly.
“i’m actually going to head out,” you said. “thank you for the offer though.”
“aw, are you sure?” rose set down the knife on the cutting board. rafe glanced over his shoulder as the contents of the pan sizzled.
“yes. thank you though. i’ll see you guys again soon.” you hugged rose when she came toward you and you waved to sarah and the rest of the family at the table. you and rafe looked at each other once more before you walked out.
—
“oooh, look at these! i love these! how much?”
“12 dollars. they would go great with your top actually.”
“you’re so right! i’ll take them.”
the customer beamed at you as they handed over the set of sea glass earrings. you rang them up and returned some change before wrapping the jewelry in tissue paper and sealing it with the boutique’s sticker. you placed the wrapped gift carefully into a tiny reusable bag and handed it over.
“have a good day,” you smiled your noteworthy customer service smile and relaxed once they left, the front doorbell going off.
it wasn’t that you hated your job. but you hated your job. the main reason was that it was part time, and the second main reason was because you hated working in retail. it was exhausting having to put on a fake smile and answer stupid questions like whether or not you sold earrings when you literally worked in a jewelry store. it was tiring really, if only for four hours a day.
thankfully, you were due to clock out in about fifteen minutes and you couldn’t wait. you busied yourself with cleaning a few displays then restocking some with new styles your boss, the owner, had batched out the week before.
“hey, y/n,” you looked up at your co-worker coming through the front door. your shoulders tensed as the cheery doorbell went off, but the arrival of your co-worker was always a relief.
“did you dye your hair again?” you eyed their bright locks as they went behind the counter and situated themselves for the rest of the day.
“yup and i think i’ll stick with it for a while. you like?”
“it’s bright.” you tried to say it as politely as you could. “maybe you’ll bring in more customers.”
they laughed at your comment and disappeared into the back. you turned to the display and set a few necklaces down.
once you gathered your things and said goodbye to your boss in the back office, you waved to your co-worker and toned out the bell above your head as you left.
the main street where the boutique was was swarming like a beehive. it was tourist season after all and there was nothing better to do on the island than shop or laze around at the beach. the island was perfect since both activities didn’t require much travel.
you glanced into a few windows as you walked down the sidewalk, dodging a couple kids with heaping amounts of ice cream on a tiny cone. the sun beat down from above and it was a wonder that the ice cream hadn’t already melted down their wrists.
your ears perked up at the sound of a car horn and a second later a truck was pulling up right beside you. looking over curiously, you recognized the gray truck and the person behind the wheel. your stomach leaped.
“hey.” rafe called from his seat as you both came to a stop.
“hi.” you said, feeling frozen momentarily.
“do you want a ride?” he asked in a hopeful tone that you couldn’t stop thinking about once it left his mouth.
you hadn’t seen or heard from him in a couple days since your sleepover with sarah and a part of you didn’t think you’d talk to him again until you went back to his house. you thought it was weird that he didn’t text you or even call, but then you reminded yourself that he was your best friend’s brother, and she didn’t know about what had happened between you two. you wondered if she would be angry with you.
you thought about accepting his offer, seeing no real harm in it. it was only a fifteen-minute walk otherwise. but something drove you to say yes and before you knew it, you were grabbing ahold of the door handle.
“thanks.” you said as you settled into the passenger’s seat. he pulled away from the curb easily as you put your seatbelt on, listening for the satisfying click of the lock.
“you just get out of work?” he asked, making small talk.
“yeah.” you nodded and glanced at his arm. the vein taunted you as he reached out to fiddle with the radio. you shifted in your seat. “what were you doing?”
“i had to drop some stuff off at the post office for my dad and work. i saw you walking and figured i could offer you a ride. even though you don’t live far.” he said with a soft shrug.
“i appreciate it.” you said and looked out the rolled down window.
you watched the cement walkway disappear and turn into the fine sand along the shoulder of the road. houses started to litter the street instead of the businesses and storefronts. you could hear the sand under rafe’s tires and you closed your eyes for a moment to focus on the breeze. you opened them back up when you felt the ghost of rafe’s fingers in your hair.
looking away from the dusty shoulder, you set your gaze on the road stretched before you. rafe kept a lose hand on the very top of the wheel, his other resting in his lap. you swallowed and licked your lips.
“rafe?”
“yeah?”
willing yourself to look up at him, trying to act quickly before he reached your house, you stared at the side of his face. he glanced over quickly then back to the road.
“don’t bring me home.” you said in a small voice, hoping the question didn’t lead to rejection.
his eyes flicked to your face, his jaw flexing. “okay. where do you want to go?”
you let your gaze waver, wandering down his chin to his neck where he visibly swallowed. did you make him nervous?
“just somewhere private,” you said.
you wet your lips when he looked at you again, your eyes trailing from his neck to his face. your hands were itching to reach across and touch him, but they settled on fidgeting in your lap. when you looked out the windshield again, you saw your yellow front door pass by as rafe continued to drive. you took a deep breath in.
after a couple turns and the road turning into more sand, rafe pulled to a dead end in front of the marsh. the engine cut off with a turn of the ignition key and fizzled out to let the lapping water fill the car. you kept your eyes on the small bay ahead, spotting a dragonfly whizzing by over the water. letting the marsh sounds fill your ears, it seemed to calm your nerves.
you nervously glanced at rafe in the quiet cab of the truck. you wondered what was going through his head. he turned his eyes to you, letting them linger around your face. you swallowed.
giving a mental swift kick to your own rear, you looked over your shoulder into the back seat and unbuckled yourself. you slipped the strap of your bag off your shoulder and left it in the seat as you twisted and crawled over the console. rafe watched you, a dumbfounded smile making its way onto his lips.
you laughed when you saw it. “come on,” you patted to the seat beside you and scooted to the right so he’d have enough room.
rafe looked gigantic when he turned in his seat, bumping into the wheel and nearly pushing on the horn. you grinned as you watched him, the simple journey into the backseat seeming so wild. it felt like you were somewhere you shouldn’t be with someone your parents had warned you about. your parents loved rafe actually.
his knee bumped into yours once he was settled and situated. the space was too small for the two of you but you liked feeling his skin against yours. it also felt much more private than the open windows in the front.
looking over at rafe, you let your hand fall easily to his knee. he shifted his top half and closed most of the space between you, bringing an arm to rest atop the seat behind you. you breathed softly, trying not to show how fast your heart had started to thrum.
your eyes flicked down to rafe’s lips and you thought about how you didn’t know what they felt like.
“what are you thinking?” you asked as you licked your own lips.
rafe reached a hand up to your cheek, finally touching you and nearly drawing a moan from your throat as you leaned into his touch. when had you become so touch-starved? well, you could probably answer that.
“how badly i want to kiss you right now.”
you let out a breath as he looked down at your open and ready mouth. you both leaned in and finally kissed, rafe’s lips capturing yours and yours capturing his. your hand moved to his neck. his fingers on your cheek traveled into your hair again. you didn’t mean to make a noise but come on! you loved feeling his fingers in your hair.
“how i have you in my truck, in my backseat.” he pulled away to say, in a near whisper, then kissed you again. he licked into your mouth and it was difficult to find the words to portray just how amazing it felt. needless to say, your underwear was going to be soaked any second now.
you opened for him and moved closer to eliminate any space between you. he parted from your lips to travel downward. you leaned your head back, happily giving him the access he craved. your breath was coming out heavier now, but you didn’t have that panic of losing your breath like drowning. it was a good situation to lose your breath.
“how it’s been two days and i haven’t stopped thinking about the other night.” he admitted into the thin skin under your jaw. he switched hands, one holding your head in place and the other skimming over your chest. he nipped at your flesh.
“rafe,” you moaned and grabbed a fistful of his shirt.
“what do you want?” he asked, his hot breath blowing across your cheeks. you peeked your eyes open and saw tiny flakes of brown in his eyes. his hand traveled further until it landed on your thigh, squeezing and triggering the sweetest of shivers.
“i want your mouth on me.”
pressing a kiss to your lips, rafe pulled away again to look over your face. “are you sure?”
you nodded and let go of his shirt to touch his cheek. you just wanted to feel his mouth everywhere on you.
“please,” you said. you shuffled away from him reluctantly so you could situate yourself on the seat. your head and shoulders rested against the back door and you brought your legs up over his lap, already having slipped your shoes off. he watched you intriguingly. your stomach sank a little, hoping he wasn’t going to turn you down.
when his hands reached toward your bottoms, you couldn’t help the smile that took over your face. he undid the button and tugged them down. lifting your legs so you could open them for him, he leaned forward and pressed a sweet kiss to the inside of your knee. his fingers traced your calf as he shuffled and bent down as awkwardly as possible in the cramped space. you felt bad for a moment until you saw the way he looked up at you. he wanted this just as much as you did.
keeping eye contact with you as he placed his mouth right over your pubic bone, you moaned faintly. it was so delicate and soft that you didn’t expect it to feel that way. he caressed your calf as he pressed another kiss over your underwear, moving lower and lower to where you had soaked them through. your face went a little red, anticipating his reaction to it.
he looked godly as he stared up the expanse of your torso and to your eyes, all the while his lips pressed against your clothed entrance. his groan at the state of your underwear sent ripples out from the exact spot he kissed, like the vibrations of him sent shockwaves through you.
“you’re soaked,” he breathed against you and had you wanting to close your legs. instead, you slipped from his grasp and took your underwear off.
pressing your left leg into the back of the seat, you opened for rafe again. he looked down at you in front of him and licked his lips hungrily.
“god, you’re fucking pretty.”
you bit your lip at the way he looked at you, like he wanted to go to town. you were all for it really, but with the way he’d been touching you so far you had a feeling he’d be super gentle.
taking your leg and guiding it over his shoulder, he pressed a kiss to your thigh. then he finally tasted you with a savoring lick between your folds. it felt so good that he even hummed against you. you moaned in return and slipped your eyes closed. you needed something to hold on to. searching for the seat, you reached up to that tiny metal pole of the headrest and curled your fingers around it. it was cool and grounded you to where you were.
rafe licked another stripe, making a delicious noise with his tongue. you were sure if you weren’t so aroused that you’d gag at the sound.
one of his hands moved to your hip now, his skin rough and warm against yours. a gasp left your lips as you flinched without much thought, your leg over his shoulder tightening. they were all caused by rafe’s tongue brushing over your clit, something you hadn’t expected yet. you surely welcomed it when he did it again after feeling your reaction. he did it softly the second time around and you felt him shift below you before one of his fingers appeared at your entrance.
“fuck,” you whispered mostly to yourself. rafe pulled away a second later and you gasped as his finger coated in your arousal before pushing into you at the same time he reconnected with your clit.
you moaned lowly from the back of your throat. “rafe, that feels so good.”
he spent a few seconds sucking on you until he disappeared again. “look at me,” he said with a squeeze to your hip. his finger continued to move.
you breathed through your mouth as you opened your eyes and looked down at him. his seemed a smidge darker, but he held a sweet and fascinated smile on his lips.
“do you want another?”
“y-yes, please.”
you reached down and grabbed ahold of his wrist on your hip. your fingers tightened around the headrest at the same time. rafe pushed in another and returned to your clit, his tongue moving. you moaned as you watched him, wondering why you had even closed your eyes in the first place. he looked heavenly between your legs, and it felt even better.
pulling his fingers out, he brought them to his lips and licked them clean. “fuck, you taste so good, baby.”
you whimpered the next moment when he wrapped his hand around your thigh and licked up your folds. both of your hands let go to attach to his hair, your fingers spreading and pulling.
rafe’s mouth worked over you a bit quicker this time and you could tell he was losing himself in it, but you were enjoying it. it was startling when his tongue dipped into you and he pulled away only to spit, but it blew your mind. he licked widely up to your clit then, mixing everything in to one as he closed his mouth over the sensitive mound.
“oh my god.”
you felt your muscles tightening in your abdomen and the familiar feeling of wanting to move, of wanting to release. your feet tensed, a white-hot fervor starting in your toes.
“fuck, rafe, i’m going to come.” you gasped. “make me come, please, please.”
rafe obliged, his tongue flicking over you and causing your muscles to tighten even more. your eyes pricked with tears; your legs tightened on either side of him. he held them open and you wanted to curse him out for not letting you close them, to trap him in place and never have him stop.
your hips lifted off the seat, bucking against his face as you grew closer. you thought you were ripping his hair out when you came undone, moaning loudly out into the truck, to the marsh. seconds later, your grip loosened on his scalp as he licked you clean, catching everything on his tongue.
pressing a kiss to your thigh, rafe pulled away slowly and sat up. you lay there for a moment, collecting yourself and catching your breath. the muscles in your legs felt like they liquified, but you could feel them harden again to help you move. the fire in your toes died out, a pulse still existent from your release.
“thank you.” you said to rafe as you sat up and pulled your underwear back on tiredly. you looked over to find him watching you with a soft smile and a subtle dent in his shorts. “can i do something for you?” you asked, nodding toward his lap.
rafe glanced down then shook his head at you. “no, that’s okay. i liked just tasting you.”
he didn’t say anything else as he brushed your hair over your shoulder and pressed a kiss there. his hand ran down your back. you grinned at your lap, holding your shorts and wondering where to go from there. rafe’s hand felt nice, his thumb rubbing gently. when you looked over at him, he leaned in and kissed you slowly. his hand moved up to the back of your neck while one of yours reached to touch his jaw.
“i should get home,” you said when you broke apart. you found those brown specks again and wanted nothing more than to analyze them further, but if you didn’t show your face at home soon, your phone would be interjecting in your time with rafe.
he nodded in understanding and moved apart from you so you could pull your shorts back on. “when can i see you again?”
it was such a stupid thing to make your heart leap in your chest. it even made your body flush as if it already wasn’t.
you grinned at him. “you have my number.”
he nodded again and moved in for another kiss. you reciprocated and gave it your all, hoping that if he hadn’t already decided, that he’d call you or text you tonight. it was thrilling to think about the next time you’d see him.

Common Stupid Thieves
Sean Falco x Reader // Platonic!Derek & Reader
Prompt: I would like to request a Sean fic where the reader is a fellow criminal who’s in on the valet scam (or another scam of your invention). I think it would be hot to drive around in fast cars doing mischief with him. Hehe 😎 💕 Please and thank you! You’re the best! Requested by: @badsext Warning(s): Language, Recreational Drug Use, Criminal activities, Infidelity Word Count: 3.5k
a/n: Aaaaaa, I was so excited when I got this prompt because I’ve been wanting to write something with a fellow criminal reader for a while now, but just didn’t know what I wanted to do, but this gave me the perfect excuse to think about it more. There will be two parts.
01. |
“Hey dog!” Derek greeted, joining Sean at the valet podium, a wide grin on his face as he sidled up next to his friend.
“Hey, man,” Sean replied, rubbing his hands together against the cold, his breath misting in the brisk night air. Autumn had already descended on Portland and the nights were swiftly growing colder as the leaves turned colour.
“What?” Sean asked, recognizing the pensive look on his friend’s face as if he had something to say and Derek held his hands up in innocence.
“Nothin’ bro,” he exclaimed, chuckling slightly, but Sean merely arched a thick brow at him until Derek finally cracked. “Okay, okay. Actually, I have somethin’ I wanted to run by you.”
“See, I knew it,” Sean laughed, his head falling back in amusement, his gaze taking in the starts overhead for a brief moment before refocusing on his friend and business partner.
“Yeah, yeah, you know me too well,” Derek muttered before jumping into his story. “Look, I got this friend, okay, and she needs a job…” he began, Sean cutting him off.
“No. No fuckin’ way.”
“What, no man, c’mon—” Derek argued.
“No, you come on!” We’d have t’start splittin’ th’tips three ways when business is already slow. Besides, what about our little side venture? How are we gunna keep that a secret?” he exclaimed, his voice dropping to a rushed whisper. “How do we know we can trust this person? I don’t like it, man,” he said, shaking his head.
“Aw no, man, she can be trusted,” Derek insisted, pulling Sean aside, away from the valet stand. “I’ve known [y/n] since we were kids. She’s good people and she ain’t no snitch. She could be a real asset, dog.”
Sean heaved a breath, deliberating. He trusted Derek, and if Derek trusted this [y/n] enough to vouch for her, then Sean would give her the benefit of the doubt. He just hoped it wouldn’t bite them in the arse later.
“...Alright,” he sighed, turning his face toward his friend.
“What, really?” Derek asked excitedly, his grin returning, brightening his face. “Oh man, you are not gunna regret this! Just think of how many more places we can hit a night with a three man crew! It’s gunna be great.”
“Yeah, so you keep tellin’ me,” Sean laughed, rolling his eyes as a car pulled up to the curb.
“Hey Sean, can you take this one? I wanna call [y/n] and tell her the good news,” Derek exclaimed, already pulling his phone from his pocket.
“Yeah, alright,” Sean called over his shoulder.
“You’re gunna love her, man!”
——
It was your first night valeting at Nino’s, Derek really having come through for you on the job thing, your last one didn’t really pan out, but at least this one seemed like it’d be easy enough, from what he’d told you.
Shoving your hands in your coat pockets against the cold, you approached the valet podium at the curb, your friend nowhere to be seen. Instead, a tall slender man with a mop of unruly dark curls stood guard out front, shifting from foot to foot as he looked down at his phone, a small smile lingering on his lips.
Sensing your presence, he gave a start, quickly pocketing his phone and flashing you a proper smile. “Hello, welcome t’Nin-ohh,” he cut off, realizing you weren’t a customer, taking in your identical white dress shirt and green jacket.
“Hey,” you greeted, offering him a sheepish grin.
“You must be [y/n],” he guessed, taking your hand to shake firmly.
“That’s me,” you replied, gripping his hand just as firmly, meeting his moss green eyes. “And you must be Sean.”
“[y/n]! Hey, you’re here!” Derek called as he approached, cutting Sean off before he could respond. “Looks like you two already got acquainted.”
“Yep, we uhm, we met,” you murmured, feeling Sean’s eyes on you as you turned to Derek.
“Awesome,” Derek exclaimed, rubbing his hands together excitedly. “This is gunna be great!”
It wasn’t long before your first customer drove up and Derek had Sean show you where the valet lot was around the block.
“See? Easy peasy,” Sean exclaimed as you parked the car.
“Easy peasy,” you agreed, wondering if you should bring up the questions you had about the other part of the job.
“The next local customer we get, we’ll go together and I’ll show you th’ropes,” he said, sensing your unvoiced questions.
“Alright,” you nodded, following suit as he got out of the car.
Walking back to the front of the restaurant, you buzzed with excitement, and instead, a different question sprung to your lips.
“So, how long have you known Derek?”
Sean’s brows furrowed in thought. “Since my family moved to th’area, about seven years ago.”
“Where were you from originally?” you asked, unable to quite keep your eyes from returning to his distractingly handsome face.
“Originally, Dublin,” he chuckled — that explained the accent — “but when my dad split, my mum and I moved to th’states. Then when she married my stepdad he decided to move us all across th’country t’start a construction company out here that went belly up in less than a year,” he scoffed, glancing over at you.
“What about you? How long have you known Derek?” he countered.
“Since middle school,” you answered, grinning as you remembered all the shenanigans the pair of you had gotten into — it seemed you were soon to continue that legacy, though this time you really didn’t wanna get caught.
“There you guys are, took you long enough!” Derek exclaimed.
“Oh ha ha,” you muttered, shoving his shoulder lightly as you joined him behind the valet stand, standing near the tall glass encased heater to banish the chill that had taken hold as you walked back from the parking lot.
“Sean has a girlfriend, by the way, so no funny business, [y/n],” he whispered, noticing the way your gaze kept seeking the handsome Irishman out.
“Yeah, so?” you snorted softly, so Sean wouldn’t overhear, only for Derek to jab you in the ribs with his elbow.
“I mean it, [y/n], don’t meddle,” he hissed, all traces of levity gone from his face.
Rolling your eyes, you huffed an indignant sigh. “Yeah, yeah. But if he makes a move on me, I don’t know if I’ll be able to resist,” you teased, only half serious. Anyone who turned that down, girlfriend or no, would be a bloody fool.
“Yeah, like that would happen,” Derek snorted and your mouth fell open.
“Gee thanks,” you scoffed indignantly, a little hurt that your friend didn’t think you had a chance.
“[y/n], don’t be like that,” he laughed, nudging you again, this time playfully. “Riley’s a good girl and Sean’s head over heels for her.”
“Good for her,” you muttered, turning away to check your phone, trying not to sound too jealous.
To pass the time between customers, you recounted stories to Sean of yours and Derek’s teenage years, Derek cutting in every now and then to correct you, or deny his involvement; joking around. Every time you managed to make Sean laugh, you counted it as a win.
Before long, a flashy SUV pulled up and Sean climbed into the driver’s seat as the couple handed him the keys before heading into the restaurant, leaving their vehicle in your capable hands.
“Looks like their place is only a couple blocks away,” Sean announced, poking through their built-in GPS and you shared a grin, quickly jumping into the passenger seat.
“We’ll be right back,” he exclaimed, winking at Derek.
“Uh huh, don’t have too much fun now,” Derek teased back, flashing a wide grin at the pair of you.
For a moment, as he accelerated, the motor revving to life, you were reminded of the scene in Ferris Bueller when the two valets flew over the hill in his friend’s dad’s car to the Star Wars theme, taking it for a little joy ride.
“Okay, so, some ground rules so we don’t get caught,” Sean began, pulling you from your thoughts and you turned to give him your full attention. “One, no stealin’ anything from the vehicles themselves, pretty self explanatory. They notice anythin’ missin’ from here, it’s the easiest thing t’tie back to us,” he explained.
“Got it. What’s two?” you asked with a nod.
“Two, we only go t’houses that are in th’neighborhood. We can’t afford a long drive if we wanna make it back before their meal’s done. Get in, get out, quickly.”
“Simple enough, you agreed.
“And three,” Sean said as he pulled into the couple’s driveway, using their garage door opener as your way in— “only take things they won’t notice, or at least not right away.”
“Okay, like jewelry, small electronics, cash… gotcha,” you murmured, unbuckling. “What if they have an alarm system?”
“Then we turn around and go back. The goal is t’not get caught. There’ll be other houses, other opportunities. Don’t get greedy.”
Nodding, you got out and tried the door to the house, finding it unlocked, though you weren’t all that surprised, most people didn’t usually lock the door inside their garage — what’s the point when your garage door’s shut tight?
“I’m in,” you announced as the door swung open, managing to pull an amused snort from your curly haired partner.
“C’mon, let’s see what goodies are waitin’ for us,” he said, bobbing his eyebrows at you before rushing up the stairs ahead of you and into the house.
“Damn, these people are loaded,” you murmured in awe, trailing behind Sean and letting your gaze travel their living room. The flat screen hanging over the mantle would’ve completely dwarfed your tiny apartment.
“Yeah, most of th’people that come t’Nino’s are,” Sean murmured, setting to work, sweeping the place for valuables.
Sneaking into their bedroom, you hit the jackpot as you threw open the door to their walk in closet. ”What d’you think?” you asked, turning to Sean as you pulled a skimpy black negligee from the rack and held it in front of your body.
For a moment Sean’s mouth worked silently, his face turning pink before your eyes and you couldn’t help the pleased grin that stole across your lips, wondering if he was imagining you in it.
“Lady’s got good taste,” he said, clearing his throat before awkwardly pointing toward the vanity. “Let’s, uh, look in there,” he suggested and you snorted, hanging the outfit back up and following him over.
“Did I fluster you?” you asked, smirking at him out of the corner of your eye as you picked through the jewelry that looked least worn.
“No,” Sean exclaimed quickly, avoiding your gaze, though it seemed like his face flushed deeper, even in the dim light. “I’m gunna go check out the bathroom,” he announced suddenly, hurrying off and you fought back a laugh, though you wished he’d flirt back a little.
Getting back to work, you snagged a pair of expensive designer shoes and a large handbag — it would fetch a pretty good price on ebay. Stuffing the heels and the necklaces into the purse, you met back up with Sean in the kitchen.
“You find anything?” you asked and Sean held up a sliver watch as well as a handful of loose change. “Pocket change?” you exclaimed, fighting back a laugh. “And here I thought you were a hardened criminal, Sean Falco.”
Sean rolled his eyes, slipping the change into his pocket. “I wouldn’t say hardened, I just wanna make things a little easier on my bank account. Bein’ a starvin’ artist ain’t as glamorous as it seems,” he snorted sarcastically, heading back toward the garage as he checked his phone, Derek texting to let you know you were in the clear yet.
“You’re an artist?” you asked curiously, climbing back into the borrowed SUV and Sean opened the garage door, backing out into the street.
“Photographer,” he clarified, his eyes flicking over to you.
“Really? What do you take pictures of?”
“Oh, a little bit of everything,” he replied, smiling to himself. “People, places, anything that catches my eye. I like things with personality,” he explained.
“I’d love to see your work sometime,” you mused.
“Yeah, course,” Sean exclaimed, clearing his throat quickly and returning his eyes to the road, though you could have sworn a dusting of pink had returned to his cheeks as the light from a streetlamp lit up his face.
“Bet your girlfriend likes being your model,” you ventured quietly after a long moment, wanting to see how he reacted.
“No, actually—” Sean began before frowning. “How did you know I have a girlfriend?”
“Derek told me.”
“Oh, right,” he said, shaking his head slightly, his lips twitching downward.
“What does she do?” you asked, unable to curb your curiosity.
“She’s a business major.”
“Ah,” you replied shortly and Sean glanced at you curiously.
“What’s that s’posed t’mean?” he asked, amusement tinging his voice.
“Nothin’,” you teased, grinning over at him. “Just sounds boring to me,” you answered honestly. How much do you even have in common? you wondered, not voicing that query.
“Honestly… kinda,” Sean chuckled, rolling his shoulders.
“Doesn’t she know about… this?” you asked hesitantly, gesturing to the stolen items at your feet.
“This?” Sean yelped incredulously, turning back into the valet lot. “No, she doesn’t know about this,” he answered tensely.
“So… what now?” you asked, sensing Sean’s discomfort at your question and quickly changing the subject.
“Now… now we stow the stuff in our cars and go meet back up with Derek.”
“So, how did baby’s first run go?” your friend asked cheekily when you returned, practically bouncing on the balls of his feet in his excitement, wearing a shit eating grin as he dodged your punch aimed at his bicep.
“She did good,” Sean answered before you could, and the compliment took you by surprise, filling your face with warmth.
“See, what I tell you?” Derek exclaimed.
——
Before you knew it a couple months had flown by and you were making runs by yourself now; you, Sean, and Derek doing fairly well for yourselves with your little side business. Sure, there were nights when you came back nearly empty handed, but it beat not working at all, and the money from the valet stand was enough to get by on. Besides, the best part was getting to hang out with your friends every night. During that time, you’d grown rather close to Sean, the two of you beginning to spend more time together outside of work.
“You really need to find a new place,” you laughed as you plopped down at one of the plastic chairs flanking Sean’s tiny table.
“Wha—? What’s wrong with it?” Sean exclaimed, feigning offense as he took the chair across from you and passing you the lit joint between his fingers, his lips twitching into a bemused grin as he watched you.
“What’s wrong with it?” you cried, teasingly, gesturing with your arm toward the wall nearest you. “There’s fuckin’ holes in your walls!”
“Hey, I patched… most of ‘em!” he countered. “You’ve gotta admit, it’s got character!”
“Is that what you call it?” you cackled, breaking into laughter as you waved the smoke from your face. “I suppose it does suit your starving artist aesthetic,” you teased, glancing at him coyly, feeling your cheeks warm as he shared your grin, his long fingers brushing yours as he stole the joint back.
Unable to look away as he brought the joint to his lips and inhaled deeply, your thoughts spiraled, wondering what it would feel like to kiss him as silence fell over the cramped flat.
“So… I have somethin’ I need to confess,” Sean spoke up, jolting you from your thoughts and you quickly tore your eyes from his mouth. “I was a little worried when Derek suggested bringin’ you onto th’team,” he admitted, not quite meeting your eyes. “But honestly, it’s been one of th’best things we’ve done,” he said, flicking the line of ash from the end of the dwindling joint.
“Oh yeah?” you asked, arching a curious brow at him. “Why were you worried? Thought I’d be a liability?” you half teased.
“Yeah, kinda,” Sean answered sheepishly, causing you to snort, laughter bubbling from your lips to lighten the room.
“Can’t say I blame you,” you admitted, taking another hit as he offered it to you. “Did Derek ever tell you why he trusts me so much?” you asked, glancing over to catch Sean’s eye.
“He didn’t, but I figured there had t’be a reason for his unwavering confidence though,” he said, his words making you smile.
“When we were in middle school,” you begin, settling in to recount your story, leaning back against the wall behind you. “Derek and I weren’t bad kids, per se, I mean, not like his brothers, but we did get into trouble from time to time. There was one day, we were graffiting the side of a rail car down by the tracks, y’know, just a little harmless vandalism,” you said, your lips curling wryly.
“Well, apparently there was a cop nearby and he caught sight of us. So we threw our spray cans down and made a break for it. We probably would’ve gotten away but I tripped over one of the tracks, and busted my knee open,” you explained, shaking your head. “I told Derek to go on without me cause we had some stolen shit in our pockets from earlier and I didn’t want him t’get in trouble for it too.”
“What happened?” Sean asked.
“He didn’t like it, but Derek took off like I told him to and I let the cop catch up to me so he’d have a chance to get away.”
“But he’d seen Derek?”
“Yeah, from a distance, but I just kept denying there was anyone else with me, so there wasn’t really anything they could do about it,” you shrugged.
“You took th’fall and kept him outta juvie?”
“Mhmm.”
“No wonder Derek trusts you,” he murmured, awe in his voice.
“I don’t rat on my friends,” you said simply, crushing the rest of the blunt out in the ashtray between you.
Sean nodded before you heard his stomach growl loudly. “Oh shit, I’m starvin’,” he groaned, holding his belly as you descended into laughter, holding your own gut. “You want somethin’? I think I have some frozen chicken strips or somethin’ in here,” he mused, getting up to check the icebox.
Following him over to the tiny kitchen, you peered in the freezer with him. “Chicken strips sound bomb.”
“Grand,” Sean chuckled, pulling the bag out and dumping the contents onto an oven sheet while you turned on the oven and leaned against the counter next to him.
“So… where’s Riley?” you asked, reluctant to bring her up, but it hadn’t escaped your attention that she hadn’t been around much lately.
“Oh, she’s busy with classwork,” he replied, turning to lean against the counter next to you. “I think she has some big midterm project she’s workin’ on. Why?”
“I just thought it was weird you hadn’t been hanging out much,” you explained, carefully, realizing how close you were. “But I’m not complainin’,” you murmured, your hand inching closer to touch his. “I like spending time with you…”
“I like spendin’ time with you too, [y/n],” Sean mused, slowly leaning closer, as if a spell had fallen over the pair of you, til his breath fanned across your lips moments before they pressed chastely to yours.
Not fighting it, you tangled your fingers in his jumper, pulling him closer as you kissed him back and to your delight his lips moved against yours with a soft moan and you felt the edge of the counter bite into your back. It was as if all the tension between you had finally come to a head—every coy little glance and furtive touch, all the inside jokes and nights spent texting late into the morning hours were finally leading where you’d hoped.
Moaning in turn as your tongue sought his, Sean suddenly tensed, the bubble bursting as he pulled away. “What are we doin’?” he exclaimed breathlessly, running his hands through his hair. “I can’t do this—“
“Why not?” you asked desperately, though you already knew the answer. “Sean, I-I really like you, and I think you feel the same way, that kiss obviously proved that—“
“I—” Sean hesitated, his face clearly conflicted. “—but Riley,” he exclaimed, shaking his head, his curls shivering. “I love her, I can’t do this t’her.”
“You can’t even be honest with her!” you cried, the words bursting from you, unable to hold them back any longer. “You’re afraid to tell her about what you do because you know she’d judge you for it!”
For a moment Sean blinked at you, his mouth hanging open as if unable to come up with an argument. “You… you don’t know anything about it,” he snapped finally, setting his face. “I think you should probably leave, [y/n].”
His words felt like a slap to the face and you staggered backward. “Y-yeah… I’ll—” The hushed words died on your tongue and you stumbled toward the door, looking back at him as you stepped out into the blinding daylight outside. Sean wouldn’t even look at you.
Had you just fucked up beyond repair?

I stood in front of the mirror, unable to believe the person looking back was actually me. I brushed my hands down the front of the gown, enjoying its smooth, silky texture. Such a contrast to the stiff, dirty ODs I had become accustomed to. Light makeup on my face, something I had not indulged in for years. I looked… dare I say… beautiful. Even as I witnessed myself dress up in the mirror, I doubted my own reflection. It felt like I was someone else. Today, though, that was what I wanted.
It was a Sunday and everyone was still celebrating being in Zell Am See. We had thought Germany was beautiful but it had nothing on Austria.
In his pilfering, Captain Speirs had found an abandoned, wealthy home that he thought I might enjoy. He purposefully pulled me aside and told me to investigate the master bedroom before anyone else got to it. At my questioning look, he just gave a wink and said he would stand guard until I was done. Without another word, he lit a cigarette and rummaged through his newest acquisitions.
Intrigued and still confused, since everyone knew I did not care much about finding treasures, I wandered into the home and up the grand stairwell until I finally reached the master bedroom. My jaw dropped when I saw what he was referring to and purposefully left for me. I owed him a huge bottle of liquor after this. Whoever the wife was that lived here had expensive taste. There were racks of beautiful gowns and dresses, ranging from whimsical day dresses to breath-taking evening gowns. I spent about an hour just touching all the beautiful gowns, in awe that clothing like this was even real. Even the heels and few pieces of jewelry left behind boggled my mind in their quality. It was a fairytale. It had to be.
So, I had decided while all the men were continuing to get drunk, blow things up and joy ride…. I was going to embrace my femininity. Something I had not enjoyed since Albourne, so long ago.
Now here I stood, having spent entirely too long getting ready for some kind of elegant ball. The gown I commandeered was an emerald green color, making me feel like I was wearing a gemstone, with wide straps but left my arms bare and dipped low in the back. The red lipstick I found made my lips pop in the bright light of the bathroom. My favorite thing was the small gold chain necklace I discovered half hiding under a dresser, as if dropped and forgotten by whoever was leaving quickly. I wondered if in another life this could have been me regularly, attending socialite functions and dressing up like a princess. Instead I was used to dirt and blood marring my skin, ill-fitting ODs and a helmet that constantly slipped over my eyes.
For this moment, just for tonight… I could pretend otherwise. Pretend I was someone important, someone elegant.
When I finally stepped out of the wealthy house, Speirs took one look at the gown draped over my arm and the pair of black heels dangling from my hand, and suggested I use the officer's house to get ready in.
Taking a deep breath, I took one last look at myself in the mirror. If only my family could see me now, I thought. I slipped on the heels and walked out of the bathroom, the gown trailing lightly behind me.
Tonight was about me. Doing something special for me. To remind myself I was more than just a soldier, more than the scars I now bore from our time in combat. That I had not completely lost myself to war and its carnage. Beauty could still be found in the little things...the stolen moments. Like a stunning gown and red lipstick.
I could hear the officers downstairs, talking about something, followed by a sharp bark of laughter from Nixon. Before I disappeared into the upstairs bathroom, I had told them I was going to watch the sunset by the lake and if I came back after dark to not worry about me.
Being extra careful in the gown, I descended the stairs. One foot at a time. One nervous breath at a time. Beyond aware of how different I looked.
As I stepped into view of those lounging around, most playing poker at a table in the middle of the room, silence struck. I could feel their eyes land heavily on me.
"Holy shit." Nixon said, mouth dropped open.
I stepped down the last two steps, brushing down my gown to smooth out the nonexistent wrinkles. I tried to tease, their amazed looks making me uncomfortable. "I swear, it's like you guys have forgotten I am in fact a woman."
"Uh huh. Can't forget that right now." Nixon took a sip of his drink in hand.
Harry asked, a smirk on his face as tapped his cards against the table. "Where you going dressed like that?"
"Going to watch the sunset." I reminded them.
"Dressed like that?!" Nixon sputtered then narrowed his eyes at me. "Looks like you're planning on meeting someone."
"Does a woman have to dress up only for a man?" Before anyone could answer, I pointed a finger at the officers. "The correct answer is no. I can dress up for myself. I'll be back in a while."
"Y/n?"
I looked at Winters, surprised to see him sitting in an armchair near the fireplace reading while the other officers were playing cards. "Sir?"
"You look beautiful."
"Thank you, sir." I smiled at Winters, receiving a soft one in return.
"You got a weapon on you?" Speirs asked around a cigarette between his lips.
"Maybe."
He froze, then slowly pulled the cigarette out and started to rise from his seat.
"Christ! Yes! I've got my knife! Anything else, dad, or can I go now?"
"Be smart, don't stay out too late or talk to any boys." He deadpanned, shuffling the cards in his hand. The gleam in his eyes let me know he was just teasing, but would also have no qualms stabbing anyone who bothered me.
Amidst the others chuckling, I groaned. "I'm leaving now."
Quickly, I walked out before anyone could try and convince me to stay or worse- go change.
Thankfully, even in the fading daylight, the air was still somewhat warm where I did not need a shawl. I could hear some faint cheers from the enlisted men but I slipped behind the rows of houses and headed down the lakeside path. I walked towards my favorite spot overlooking the lake. Colors danced upon the water, making it appear as if on fire. A few ambitious stars peeked out from above in the sky painted by angels. Never before would I have imagined finding myself somewhere so absolutely gorgeous. If heaven was real, I hoped it looked like Austria.
Standing there, I found myself humming and gently swaying to a Billie Holiday song. My arms wrapped around myself loosely, I tried to soak in everything. I wanted to remember this moment forever, to create new memories to replace the bad ones. The nightmares.
"Blue moon you saw me standing alone
Without a dream in my heart
Without a love of my own…"
"Y/n?"
I turned to look over my shoulder, not expecting anyone else around. The voice was a dead giveaway but I was shocked our Cajun medic was down this way. "Hey, Gene."
He stood several paces from me; his medic satchel, that he never went anywhere without, hanging off his side. He stared at me for a long moment, eyes dancing over me in a way that made me self-conscious of how much skin showed. Suddenly, he blinked rapidly as if waking from a dream. "What…" he cleared his throat, "what are you doin' here?"
"Watching the sunset." I glanced over my shoulder at the lake then looked back at him.
"Mmm...dressed like you should be in the pictures?"
I laughed, even as I felt my face warming. I ran my hands over the gown, still in awe that I was wearing something so expensive. For the most part of the past 4 years, I had been caked in grime and sweat; even though my skin was clean now, I felt too dirty to wear something so fine.
"I've never worn anything like this. I just...wanted to do something...for myself."
"Mmm… well, I'll leave you be. Goodnight." With a single nod, he hesitated then turned around, beginning to walk up the path back to the houses.
"You know…" I said loudly, watching his feet still as he turned back around to look at me. "It would be a shame to be dressed up and not able to dance."
He ducked his head slightly, a bashful smile on his face. I could see the uncertainty on his face. The desire to dance, to hold me close but also the concern for crossing that unspoken line separating us. For two years we had been tiptoeing around our growing feelings. Both aware but never acknowledging. It was in the secret looks, the subtle soft touches, the constant desire to seek one another out amongst a crowd, the solace our presence created when together. The knowledge hung there between us, with one slip we would both fall headlong over that cliff. So we kept back, together as friends but separate as lovers, even if we could read the desire in one another's eyes. It was safer this way.
Until now.
Without a word, he slowly approached me, as if waiting for me to change my mind, to tell him no, to maintain our status quo. My lips only turned up in a smile as he drew closer, encouraging him, telling him I wanted this. He dropped his satchel carefully on the ground. Our eyes locked, both aware of how this moment could change everything we had built. Carefully, he reached forward and clasped my hand, pulling me into his body. My lips parted on a quiet gasp, feeling his warm breath span across my face, his hand holding mine… and for once, neither one of us was covered in the blood of a fellow paratrooper. I lifted my hand to his shoulder, the muscles tensing underneath my palm. When he made no further movement, I grabbed his other hand and placed it on my waist. For a moment I thought he would reject this, to walk away as he seemed to stay frozen. Then with the softest whisper of my name, as if that was the key to unlock this moment, he pulled me even closer and took the lead.
In the stolen evening gown I found and Gene in his ODs, we danced. Like there was no war to haunt us. No rules against fraternizing. No fear of the future that lay before us. It was just him and I, in this moment of beauty and joy and life. We danced. He led me in a simple box step. Our pounding heartbeats, the fluttering of my gown and the soothing sound of the lake lapping on its shore, the only soundtrack we needed.
"You are beautiful."
My face heated up at the compliment. "It's the dress and lipstick."
"Non, mon chérie." He drawled in that perfect accent and tipped my face back to meet his soft gaze. "It's you. It's always been you."
I stared into his soulful eyes, a new burning in them. Where once it had only been a candle trying desperately to beat back the darkness; now a bonfire replaced it. Something darkness knew it could never defeat. This man who held me so tenderly, like I was some kind of priceless gem, who had seen the brutality and horrors of war but still kept going, still trying his hardest to save his men even when others would have given up. He was beautiful, both inside and out.
"You need to stop lookin' at me like." He whispered; eyes glued to mine.
It was when he spoke, I realized we were no longer dancing. When had we stopped? Our bodies were still pressed together, our fingers now entwined but our feet rooted to the path. The air between us felt anything but still. An ardent intensity hovered between us, binding us to the moment, preventing us from escaping it. The sounds around us disappeared. All I could see, all I could feel and sense and taste… was him.
"Why?" I asked, my voice breathy.
"I might be tempted to mess up your lipstick."
A nervous giggle escaped me. Instead of dispelling the profound moment, it only seemed to enhance it. With deliberate slowness, I moved my hand on his shoulder to the back of his neck. "I wouldn't mind."
His hand moved to cup my cheek, holding me still as he leaned in. His lips ghosted over mine, the sweetest of sensations. It sent sparks shooting through me. After he leaned back just out of lips reach. Our eyes met once again, our breathing quickening even from the faint touch. As if our bodies were synced, I rose up at the same time he leaned forward. This time when our lips met, it was with a kiss long overdue. Our lips molded to one another, basking in the taste of the other. Both my hands slipped to the nape of his neck. His hand on my cheek drifted to the back of my head, keeping me from moving away. His other hand slid to my lower back, drawing me closer… and closer.
The kiss deepened, pulling long dormant feelings from both of us, now finally exposed without reprimand. In the midst, his hand snaked up my side to brush a thumb over the underside of my breast. At the sensation, I gasped in the kiss, surprised by his forwardness. Surprised by the pure wanton need it shot through me. As my lips parted in the gasp, his tongue thrust into my mouth like he owned it. As if he needed more of my taste. Needed more of me. As if a simple kiss would never be enough. Not to him. He quickly drew my own tongue in a dance that soon left my knees weak and wobbling. I found myself clinging to him, not just in desire, but also to keep me upright, else I melted into a puddle of sheer bliss.
All too soon, we were forced apart by our lungs screaming for air. He pressed his forehead to mind, his hand still skimming my side from my hip to the underside of my breast and back down.
"It’s you. It’s always been you." He whispered as if finally able to confide his deepest secret. The words spilling forth like water out of cracks in a dam, held back for too long. "Since I first talked to you in Toccoa about tryin' to sneak a laxative into Sobel's coffee. And in Bastogne… you were always there for me. Checkin' on me. Makin' sure I knew I wasn't alone. But we're in a goddamn war and I couldn't say nothin'. Seein' you standin' out here, lookin' like an angel, I just...I had to…"
I pressed a finger to those kiss-swollen lips of his, silencing the onslaught of secrets. "Gene, I'm going to need you to stop talking and kiss me again."
He smirked, nuzzling my neck for a second. When he spoke, I could feel his hot breath and lips against my skin. "Yes, ma'am."
This time there was no hesitation, no wavering in dilemma. Our lips touched and it felt like it was meant to be. No great fireworks in the night sky, no great orchestra announcing our love. It felt more like two puzzles pieces finally fitting together. Like the sun peeking through on a cloudy day. It was perfect.
When we broke apart again, I felt delirious with joy and the look on his face said something similar. I laid my head on his chest, his arms wrapping around my waist. Bodies pressed against one another, molded together like clay. Without a word, we began swaying. The soundtrack of our shared heartbeats and the lake's waves drowning out anything else.
Nothing in the world had changed. We were still paratroopers occupying Austria. Men were still dying. The war was still going strong in the Pacific. Evil endured.
But in this moment, in our own little world.
Everything changed.

Summary: A new mission has come up and you are sent off on it with Agent Whiskey as your partner. However, you have to go undercover as his fiancee. Rating: General (will change in future chapters) Warnings: None but some fluff AO3 Link | Masterlink | Join my taglist via here! More chapters to come soon (will be added here)
You sat at the big long table amongst the other Statesman as Champ handed out the reports for your next missions. A bunch of reports have come up across the country of some trouble so he was having you agents partner up and travel to each destination that showed trouble.
“Agent Sangria and Agent Whiskey. Here is your file. You two will be partnered up together for this mission.” Champ says, sliding a file folder over to each of you.
You sigh slightly. You love being partnered with Whiskey when you can cause it meant more time around him, time to get to know him better and etc. He may get on your nerves a lot for he’s a big flirt and sometimes likes to push people’s buttons but deep down you found the man attractive. You’ve been growing a crush on him for a while but you knew nothing would ever come from it. He was such a big shot within Statesman, he probably was the same outside of work too. You open the file fold and start looking over your information for the mission when you spot some information that surprises you.
“Everything okay Agent Sangria?” Champ asks.
“Sir… I’m going undercover as… Whiskey’s fiancee?” You question.
“That’s right. You and Agent Whiskey will be going undercover as a couple for this mission. The culprit has been found kidnapping brides and sometimes bombing venues. We need you two to go to a bridal convention held in Dallas where he was last heard of being. I am sending you two cause you both work together well and seem to have the best chemistry out of our agents. I’ll let the rest of the details for you two to go over together.” He says.
You gulp and slightly look up at Whiskey who has that typical dumb smirk he always has on his face as he looks at you. “Well… seems I’m gettin’ hitched again. Who knew it’d be so easy.” He chuckles as he elbows Tequila sitting next to him who also chuckles.
Champ had let you both go home shortly after the meeting to gather up all your supplies for your trip. Whiskey said he’d come pick you up later this evening before your flight out. You sit down on your bed and groan into your hands. This is going to be a tough weekend you think to yourself. Not only are you going on a mission alone with Whiskey again but you have to act as his fiancee all weekend?! The thoughts of what could go on cause you to feel sick with nerves. You shake your head and get back up and start rummaging through your closet finding what you can for the weekend. Some nice dresses and jewelry, some casual but cute clothes, and even some of your cuter sets of undergarments. Just in case you think. Just as you finished packing everything into your suitcases you hear your doorbell ring. You open the door to see Whiskey leaning up against the door frame.
“You ready for our weekend getaway darlin’?” He winks at you.
You sigh in response and motion your hand over to your suitcases and bags. “Care to help me load this into your car?” You ask
“Certainly.” He says stepping into your place, slinging your bag over his shoulder and grabbing both the suitcases in each hand. “Didn’t forget anything did ya?” You stare at him in disbelief. “Uh no. I got everything. Also… I can take one of them, you don’t need to take them all for me.” “Nonsense. This ain’t nothin’.” He says as he makes his way down the tiny walkway to his Bronco parked out front, placing them into the back seat. You shake your head in response and check to make sure all the lights and appliances are off before grabbing your keys and locking up, meeting him at the car.
“Ah ah… allow me future Mrs...” He smirks, opening the car door for you. “Oh yea and before I forget Champ gave me this for you”
He grabs your left hand and slides a sparkly diamond ring onto your ring finger. Your eyes go wide in how fancy it is. “Can’t be my fiancee without a way to show it off.” He chuckles, walking around to his side of the car and then starting it.
“Y-yea..” You say, staring at it and twisting it between your fingers to admire it more.
You arrived at the airport and got all checked in okay with the tickets Champ got you. The flight didn’t take long, only a few hours. You two slept most of the way. You got your rental car, luggage loaded in and headed off to the designated hotel where you would be staying for the weekend.
The bridal convention and events you were to attend for the weekend were being held at a local convention center so to stay close to the action in case anything went down and to blend in a bit more, Champ had scheduled for you guys to stay at a hotel nearby.
Jack helped you with your bags out of the rental car, taking more than he needed to. You two walked up together to the check in counter.
“Good day sir and ma’am. Checking in?” The lady at the counter asks.
“Yes ma’am. Reservation should be under Joseph Daniels.” Jack says giving his partially fake name assigned to him for the weekend.
“Ah yes here we are. Joseph Daniels and Elizabeth Wallace?” The lady asks
Jack nods, handing her the company card to pay for the room. She hands you both your key cards and information packs on some things for the area.
“I take it you guys are in the area for the bridal convention? Seeing as you have the honeymoon suite booked?” She smiles.
“Yes indeed.” He smiles, wrapping an arm around your shoulder, pulling you close. You smile back nervously.
“Well congratulations to you both! Let me get you the information packets for the event as well then.” She says, grabbing them and adding them to your pile.
You two gather your belongings and make your way to the elevators up to your room. You figured since the honeymoon suite was booked for the weekend it was going to be fancy but you had just no idea how until you opened the door. Flower petals littering the floor, candles surrounding the tub in the bathroom and chocolates on the little table inside the door with a congratulations note. You feel like this was some sort of tease to you about your crush with Jack. Did Champ know and send you on this mission for that reason?!
“Uh…” You stutter out, taken by surprise.
“Champ sent me a message earlier telling me what room we had. Said everyone attending the event has these rooms, makes us blend in better and might help us run into the culprits better.” Jack states.
“Oh, okay.” You say quietly, setting your bags down. “So um… look darlin’ I don’t want to make you uncomfortable this weekend. So I’ll sleep on the love seat over here. You can have the bed to yourself.” “Whis-” You start to say. “Jack. He replies. “I know we are used to calling each other our codenames but this weekend call me by my real name. Unless out on the field you know but, still. Hell, you can do so even not when on this mission.” He chuckles.
“Jack. You don’t have to sleep on the sofa. Your back’s going to be killing you afterwards. I don’t mind taking the sofa instead. We can um… share. It’ll be fine.” You say shyly.
“You sure? I really don’t want to make you uncomfortable.” He says, stepping closer and looking down into your eyes. “It’s fine. You’re not going to make me uncomfortable. A lot more is going to have to happen between us this weekend I’m sure and sharing a simple bed is at the bottom of the list of awkwardness for me.” You chuckle.
“Alright. If you say so.” He pats your head and works at unpacking his suitcase while you head off to the bathroom.
You just finished your shower and changing for the night when you stepped out into the bedroom to see Jack laying shirtless in nothing but flannel pj pants on the bed watching the local news. You stop in your tracks, admiring at just how handsome he looked. You must have been standing there staring for a bit too long when he looked over at you and called out.
“Everything okay? Did you change your mind about sharing? ‘Cause if so I can still move and go to the sofa.” He asks
You shake yourself out or your dazed state and start heading over to the bed and crawling, in under the covers. “No no. It’s okay, stay where you are. Sorry I was just thinking about um… something else.” “Alrighty then. Also if me being shirtless bothers you I’ll put one on. This is just how I usually sleep.” He says looking down at his torso. For being such a flirt and a nuisance at times he was surely a gentleman deep down inside. Always checking with you on if things were okay and making sure you were comfortable.
“It’s okay. I don’t mind.” You reply, get snuggled in under the covers for the night. “We have a big day ahead of us so I’m going to get some shut eye.”
“Sounds like a plan. Me too.” He says, shutting off the tv and lights, crawling under the covers with you.

Urges P1
TV SHOW THE QUEENS GAMBIT
COUPLE BENNY WATTS X READER
RATING SMUT
I gently hummed my little tune as I locked up my front door going down the steps to the dusty new york streets. I turned on the railing heading down the steps to the lower apartment. Then down some stairs again until I reached the basement apartment door unlocking it with my key and heading inside out the cold even if it wasn't much warmer in here. Shutting the door with my hip and locking it behind me absentmindedly moving my keys from the door to the hook on the wall, heading down the little steps hanging my coat and such up too heading to the kitchen to make a cup of coffee but just as it was boiling.
"Y/n?" I heard behind me making me jump out of my skin putting a hand to my chest in shock as I almost screamed turning on my heels to face the bedroom door.
It was open and leant on the frame of the door stood a familiar skinny figure. Barefoot and bare chested with a tight pair of jeans and his floral robe over his shoulders, a cup of coffee in his hand, his hair a matted mess that made it look as if he just this moment woke up his eyes barely open and yet a smirk on his lips as his other hand fiddled with his facial hair where it must have been annoying him as he clearly hasn't shaved in a few days and it was getting beyond the length he liked it to be and would no doubt deal with it later, his chains hung loosely against his bare skin, his other jewelry sat on him too comfortably ad he pretty much slept in it all at this point and likely barely noticed it was there at all "Morning"
"Benny! You scared me" I complained
"Says the girl who just broke into my fucking house"
"I have a key"
"Yes but one usually knocks first babydoll"
"Don't call me that Benny" I sighed returning to making coffee
"Why not? You are my little babydoll aren't you?" He smirked coming to lean his arm on the counter beside me I tried to ignore him and tried not to look even if I wanted to look at him "your cute when your trying not to look" he smirked kissing my cheek and going off to do something else
"I didn't know you where home"
"Course you didn't"
"I didn't, I'll go you don't need me" I began but before I could even move
"Y/n, of course I do come on. You clean when I'm here all the time you're literally the only person who cleans anything in this place" he laughs "sorry, I'll stop bothering you" he says sitting at his table looking at his chess board I nodded having my coffee and starting to work.
I only lived upstairs from Benny and we had gotten very used to each other, and during a time I was out of work he suggested that I could look after his place when he wasn't around and he'd slide me a little money for doing it. I always looked after his place while he went away even once I got another job, it wasn't much just checking nothing goes gross in his fridge, making sure the laundry gets done, making sure knowone breaks in, eventually thought it changed into me basically being his cleaner and I come in ever so often when he's not here and clean up for him and of course sometimes when he is here. I didn't mind it, it was something to do.
As I stood cleaning the kitchen scrubbing the sink and countertop I felt the burn of eyes on me making me turn and see Benny sat his elbow on the table, his hand under his chin, his fingers across his cheek, his eyes squarely on me and my hemline.
"Yes?" I asked
"Nothing" he answered
"What are you looking at?" I asked as I worked
"At you"
"Why? What are you looking at me for?"
"I like to watch you work" he shrugs smiling a little at me
"It's not all that interesting" I smiled "if it was you'd do it and then I wouldn't have a job" I laughed
"Touche babydoll"
"Benny I hear you call me that again I'm throwing this sponge at your head" I warn
"Babydoll" he smirked milking every Letter of the word I could heard the smirk on his voice on each syllabus and he smirked gently biting on his bottom lip as he finished the word and I didn't move "I knew you wouldn't"
"Your infuriating sometimes" I sighed
"Only sometimes?" He asked "I rather thought you found me infuriating all the time?"
"Not all the time, sometimes you can be quite lovely" I explain as I finished my cleaning in the kitchen and began sweeping the floor
"Aww your lovely sometimes too"
"Aren't I lovely all the time?"
"Sometimes… your other things"
"Such as?"
"Sometimes you're lovely, others you're fascinating. Sometimes your… desirable"
"Ohh am I now Benny?"
"I think so" he says I ignored him and continued my work sweeping the floor and doing the other jobs I usually did for him until I began packing my cleaning stuff away again "y/n?" He spoke up grabbing my wrist so his hand was so smooth and strong he wasn't an inch from me so much I could feel the heat or his exposed skin "would you… stay? And do another little job for me?"
"Well what is it?" I asked straightening myself up a little and trying to put space between us
"Would you stay and do something with me?"
"What are you talking about Benny? What do you mean?" I asked
"I mean" he smirked moving closer so my chest was against his own Whispering in my ear in his hushed deep voice in the same way he had spoken earlier milking every word every syllable a lustful sound to the sentence "stay and be my little babydoll?"
I was confused but by the look on his face I knew what he wanted
"Benny!" I said in shock backing away however I backed tight against the kitchen counter so I had no escape from him
"Aww what's wrong?" He smirked, grabbing my waist, his hands on my waist, his things rubbing on my hips "don't you want me?" He growled
"Benny I uhh I umm-" I stutter no words arriving at my brain too focused on what he was saying in what he was doing and mostly the fact I had a half naked Benny watts pressed against me it was enough to make anyone nervous never mind what he was asking of me.
"Because I want you"
"You- you what?' I stutter
"I want you" he growled "I want you so badly babydoll." He smirked before I could even breath he moved his hips against my own pressing his hard erection against my leg
"Uhh Benny!" I gasped in shock feeling him grind against me he smirked pressing a trail of open mouth kisses from my shoulder to below my ear
"I want you y/n, so badly my pretty little babydoll, I want you, I need you," he groaned into my ear
"Benny I uhh I uh I have to go' I said pushing him off me completely and running to the door grabbing my things and leaving before he could even get out a word
"Y/n! Y/n come on! I'm sorry!" He yelled trying to come after me but I just ran upstairs and locked myself in my apartment leaning in the closed door and gasping for breath, my body shaking and my heart throbbing out of my chest.
I laid on my little bed staring up at the ceiling unable to sleep, unable to stop thinking about earlier. Everything that happened, everything he said, did he mean it? That he wanted me… that he needed me. He couldn't have. It must have been a joke like that. Benny's called me babydoll forever even if I didn't like it mostly I think just to get on my nerves. He couldn't have meant it, this is Benny watts he has girls throwing themselves at him especially when he's away. Why would a handsome, smart well known chess champion like Benny be interested in me?
I snuck out of my bed fixing my little nightie a little slipping on my robe and my slippers checking the time, it was eleven forty. I climbed out of bed and went to the front door of my apartment I don't know what I was doing but I didn't stop myself as I unlocked my door locking it again as soon as I was outside hurrying quicker then I ever had before down to benny's apartment trying not to get drenched by the rain I opened the door with my key as quickly and quietly as I could closing it again without making a sound. The apartment was dark almost pitch black the only light the orange hue on the living area from the frosted glass window of Benny's bedroom and beam of harsher light coming from the door that was open a little shining brightly across the room. The light in his room was on, and I heard sounds that led me to believe he was awake.
"Uuummm… uuuuummmm… uuuh!" I heard gasps and groans almost like he was in pain for a moment I was worried Incase he was hurt but I heard another sound like clicking I listened closer slipping off my slippers and my robe hanging it in the metal poles by the door steps stepping as quietly as I could towards the wall that separates his bedroom from the rest of his studio apartment the clacking sounded like… kissing. I froze thinking he had someone over with him but "uumm y/n" he groaned between the kisses I froze pushing my body against the ice cold concrete wall unsure of what I was hearing "uuuhh!! Please please…"
I was interested I couldn't stop my feet slowly and silently moving so I stood my back leant against the concrete wall my hand on my mouth to muffle my breath, I knew I should go, I knew this was wrong but I couldn't stop listening
"Uuummm… uuh! Ughh! Y/n, y/n… please." He groans "please, I need you babydoll" he almost whined "I need you so badly, please… just uumm just something, just touch me, uughhh!" He moaned rather loudly I'm surprised I couldn't hear him upstairs in my apartment "uuummm… those perfect lips, those beautiful eyes, uumm that seductive skin, uhh!! That plump little body, uhhh! I need her! I need her!" He almost screamed "please, please kiss me, touch me, uummmm fuck me" he groaned "uuummm y/n please I need you babydoll" I moved slightly trying desperately not to be caught, convinced I was dreaming this couldn't be real it couldn't. I peaked around the open door, my view slightly abstracted as the door was hinged this side, the frosted glass revealing a little more of what was inside then what I could already see.
Benny watts laid in his bed his head against the pillow, his hair out of place and matted, his skin glowing in the warm orange light, his chains gone his chest completely exposed a shine of sweat across his skin, his eyes closed and his mouth hung open in pleasure one hand grasped at his pillow the other on his mattress and sheets gripped like a tallon to the sheets in desperation, my eyes lingered on his jaw sliding down his slender neck, across his skinny but strong chest down his stomach the hint of his V before the covers concealed it from my eyes "uuhh! Babydoll… please, I need you" he whines, grinding his desperate hips against his covers. I moved trying to see more but I knocked the door making it move so I hid myself away against the concrete as the door moved and a tiny creek echoed across the apartment. There was silence.
"... Has a little girl come to forgive me? Did she not expect to see me this way? Can she see how badly I need her now" he groaned. I kept quiet, not wanting him to know I was here and spying on him "uuhh! Your so beautiful, so gorgeous, I've felt this way for so long" he groaned "since you moved in babydoll" he smirked "I've wanted you since the first moment I saw you, I can't take it anymore, you have no idea how much strength it takes me when I see you not to…. Ummmm, rip that dress off you, or drag you to bed with me, or bend you over and fuck you senceless. But it got so bad that…" he began "I Can't do it anymore…"
I froze, confused about what he was talking about.
"I was touching so much, thinking of my sweet babydoll that… I broke myself" he explained "I can grind and I can try to… touch myself but if I do. I can't cum." He explained I felt bad that sounded so horrible makes sense why he did what he did "well… I can but it doesn't feel good. I just feel more frustrated. More frustrated it's not my babydoll touching me" he groans "even if I do try and cum, I can't cum without…. Uhh! Thinking about you." He moans grinding harder "even with… other girls" he smirked "uumm I've tried so many times, but I can't finish unless I imagine you, I have to bite my mouth with other girls because if I don't I'll just scream out for you babydoll" he explained "I've never been so desperate in my life, your all I can think about, I haven't gotten release in a two weeks, I haven't felt satisfied in a year. Please…. I need you," he begged "I'm not mad at you, for looking. Or for sneaking in. Please, if you're their babydoll. I need you, I want you so badly," he groans his hand moving from his sheets under them slowly moving "uughhh! Please, kiss me, suck me, ride me, fuck me, give me hand, give me head I don't care just… Touch me! Please babydoll please!"
I hid myself away again unsure if I could watch this, a part of me wanted to and yet another part of me was so ashamed of looking. I could hear his moans and groans getting louder the closer he got but they always stopped suddenly for some reason
"Uummmm uuummm uuhh uuuuuh! Urrgh-"
"Uuhh! Uuhh! Uuuuuummm babydoll! urrghhh!-"
Like everytime he got close he was stopping himself or maybe he wasn't lying maybe he really couldn't do it without me
"Uuh fuck! Not even my imaginations enough tonight, maybe I broke that too" he groans "please babydoll, just… let me see you" he said making my body freeze "just for a moment my sweet babydoll, just… just let me look at you. just for a moment, just let me see you y/n" he begs "just one look. Nothing else I promise. I just need to see you, I need something. Anything! Just let me look at you, just till I cum that's all I ask my beautiful babydoll" he pleads I stood a moment thinking as I looked into the room but his eyes were on the door and he smiled even if I was mostly hidden away " I knew you were there. Please… just come out, I'm not mad, just let me see you" I shook my head and hid away again as I was before "no? Why not? Please I need to see you, why are you so shy? I mean… you've been looking at me haven't you babydoll? Don't I get a look too? As I'm so... desperate" I didn't answer Unsure what to say or what to do "say something then… please, if you won't touch me, and you won't let me see you then… just say something, anything, let me… ummm hear your beautiful voice I can imagine the rest just, let me hear you" he begs "please I need you!" He screamed
"I'm sorry Benny" I answered before running as quickly as I could back to my own apartment.

Meeting and Dating Ricky Vaughn
(Not my gif)(Requested by @ageofthegeekbby )
(A little heads up: I’ve only watched the first movie so that’s what this is based off of)
- You and Ricky met when he first arrived at the field. You were hired as an assistant to the coach, you’d keep notes and files on the players and take calls while the coach was busy so you obviously came into contact with the players during the day.
- Ricky is an ...intimidating figure. He’s this brooding, mysterious guy with a hair pin temper; and a criminal record behind him. That being said, you couldn’t deny that he was attractive. Alternative, punky and a damn good player; he always caught your eye when you were out on the field.
- As a sort of protocol, you were introduced to everyone just before tryouts began. With that in mind, you had your first conversation with Ricky after one of the teams practices.
“Hey! Hey, you!” He’d called after you and you’d paused a bit nervously in your place.
“What uh-what do you have written for me in that book of yours?” He asked.
“I’m not really allowed to share that Mr. Vaughn.” You’d replied quietly.
“Well, can you ...can you just tell me if I’m getting the slip or not?” You looked at him and immediately saw the anxiety hidden behind his cool facade.
Taking pity on him you gave him his answer before walking off the field. “Not this week Mr. Vaughn.”
- After that, the two of you were still practically strangers to each other but you did share a few conversations and polite hellos every now and again. He felt like you were someone he could trust, someone that was one his side, regardless of the fact that you weren’t exactly friends. He liked you ...he liked you a lot.
- It was after another practice that his friends invited you out for a drink with them. When you showed up, you found that only Ricky was there and he seemed just as surprised at the fact that you were left alone together as you were.
- Regardless of the somewhat strange circumstances, the two of you shared a few drinks with each other. It was a bit awkward at first but you quickly found a subject you could both talk about.
- And talk you did! Hour after hour flew by before you checked your watch and realized how late it was. The two of you finished your drinks and began your trek outside.
- While you were walking back to your cars, he’d abruptly turned around and asked if you wanted to go out sometime, blurting it out before he backed out of asking. You smiled and agreed, writing down your number before saying goodnight and driving off, leaving him with a small grin spreading across his face.
- You have your first real date about a week or so later. The two of you go to a more quiet bar and grill as compared to the previous rowdy one you’d met at. He’s charming in his own rebellious type of way, interesting with a lot of crazy stories that you get to pull out of him. You both have chemistry and it’s obvious that you’re gonna see a lot more of each other after that.
- The two of you share your first kiss before one of his big games. Right before he was going to go out on the field, he’d pulled you in for a quick, rough, passionate kiss; as though kissing you would clear his head. And maybe it did, since he ended up winning that game for his team.
- From then on, you’re his little good luck charm.
- He likes Pda but that “macho man” sort of Pda. He wants to show people that you’re together; and just touch you in public, but he doesn’t want to look like a total wimp while doing it.
- He’ll usually just keep his arm around your shoulders.
- Kisses on the top of your head.
- Quick kisses before he goes off to do something, usually playing on the field or going off with friends.
- Passionate, rough kisses.
- Intense and heated makeouts.
- He enjoys cuddling when you do it but it’s not this necessary thing for him, if that makes sense. Whenever you do cuddle, he’ll usually be the big spoon or you’ll be in the “shingles” position.
- He sort of loves it when you call him wild thing. There’s just something so much better about it when it’s coming from you; even if you’re sort of mocking him with it.
- Half the time he absentmindedly calls you pet names but other times he uses them to tease you. He’ll usually call you things like Chickie, Princess, babe, and sweetheart.
- He probably gets a tattoo of you or your name; or something specific about your relationship, after the two of you have been together for a while.
- Sharing and swapping earrings with each other.
- As much as he loves everything about you, he can’t deny that he finds it hot when you wear leather and dark clothing. You’ve never seen such a “I’m in love” look spread across a mans face in your life.
- He gets you this little skull necklace that has his name engraved in the back and it quickly becomes your favorite piece of jewelry.
- Whenever he doesn’t have to wear it, he’ll affectionately shove his hat onto your head. He thinks you look cute in it and it’s one of those moments that bystanders see and think to themselves “oh, so thats why they’re a couple”.
- Wearing his jackets. He’ll put them over your shoulders whenever he knows its cold; even if you insist that you’re fine.
- Helping him cut his hair. It doesn’t even matter if you somewhat mess up since being messy and haphazard is what he’s all about.
- Running your fingers through his hair. He likes it and it helps give him that “I just got out of bed and don’t give a shit what I look like” look.
- Carrying an extra pair of glasses for him. He appreciates when you say that you think he looks good in them considering he thinks he looks like a jackass half the time.
- Buying him books to read while he’s traveling with his team.
- Late night visits when he’s in town.
- Attending as many of his games as you can.
- He has your picture taped up in his locker at all times. Like I said: you’re his good luck charm.
- Hearing a lot of interesting stories, both about his criminal past and his baseball career.
- Sometimes you’ll just be reminded that he was a felon. Like you’ll forget your keys somewhere and he’ll pick your lock, or hotwire you’re car, etc.
- Being stopped on the street or just approached in public when you’re with him since he’s The Wild Thing.
- Getting close with Jake and Willie; they are responsible for the two of you going out with each other after all.
- Teasing each other. He can be a smartass when he wants to be but other times its adorably sweet.
- He has fun with you; pretty much, no matter what you do. He’s a man and you’re his girl, he’ll humor you and your interests and he’s fully willing to chew someone out if they try to give him shit for it.
- He’s not really used to fancy restaurants; or fancy anything, so you tend to not go to them. He’s completely out of his element there so it’s probably easier on you to just choose more laid back places.
- He sort of just tails you silently whenever you bring him somewhere that isn’t his usual scene. You get your own personal living shadow for as long as you’re there.
- Horror movie dates.
- Bar dates.
- He probably buys a motorcycle; or already has one, so you’ll most likely take a few rides on that every now and again.
- He can be surprisingly sweet with you when you’re upset. He’ll kneel down in front of you and take you by the arms or face, asking what's wrong and listening quietly as you tell him. He’ll comfort you no matter how stupid the issue is.
- Your parents either love or hate him; there is no in between when it comes to the wild thing.
- Trying to help keep his temper in check.
- He tries to avoid things when he’s worried about them so you’ll occasionally have to give him a bit of a push and a pep talk.
- He always tries to keep his problems to himself. He doesn’t want to bother you with what's going on with him so he’ll usually just not tell you about them.
- He’s a very jealous person but not towards you, if that makes sense. Like he’ll get angry and want to fight with the guy rather than you whenever he does feel that way; especially if they know that you’re together.
- Overprotective. He’s immediately willing to fight someone for you; it’s how he shows his love.
“Want me to drag him out of here and kick the shit out of him?” He’s being completely serious.
- The two of you don’t have a lot of fights in your relationship but when you do, you’ll yell, curse, and borderline insult each other. He has some anger issues so he may throw things as well, but that’s usually after you’ve left.
- Whenever the two of you fight, he’ll usually go to drown his sorrows at the bar; that’s where you’ll pretty much always find him. He’ll apologize shyly whenever he has to and he’ll always easily forgive you when you have to; he doesn’t take things personally so he just sweeps whatever you may have said in anger under the rug.
- He’s only told you that he loves you a handful of times and each of them were during an important moment in your relationship/his life. He doesn’t take the phrase very lightly.
- He’ll never admit it but he definitely wants to have kids with you some day.
