Aew announces they have signed Stephanie Vaquer by having her beat up every new japan heavyweight and win a quadruple crown of the big titles from nooj, roh, aew, and cmll
According to some freak on Twitter there's tons of AEW wrestlers in the G1 this year. So my prediction is that someone from the mysterious 3rd block of the G1 will win and it's gonna be, uh, *spins wheel* Darius Martin.

i also want to give u megs and his duplicitous sluts but i have not sorted out their names to memory. the ones i enjoyed from the clips and any other ones he may have that make a fun duo with him
GOD BLESS U KFHBGJHDF o777
technically in terms of duplicitous sluts i feel like thats just screamer, and a small minority of like. only in one show guys (knock out the gay car, par example). (assuming meaning = duplicitous TO megs) beast wars megs, whose crew is made of entirely of ppl who want to over throw him, minus two extremely horny for him (googles how ants are related to scorpions) Antropods. is an outlier and is not being counted.
but i CAN do u. megstar variations. plus extras.
also COMPLETE opposite of a duplicitous slut megs and his most loyal guy sound.wave (tape deck guy. deadpan guy) is a constant standby classic. competency ship. and comedy gold. and even tho i dont like the show it gets extra comedy points in prime cause that megs is completely off his shit fucked up over the meg.op breakup and (plot bullshit) cursed amulet rocks. i DO think this specific sounders is like. probably ready to explode about how badly this whole operation is going. also all megs are fond of creatures (bond villian ass trait) and he comes with em. so makes sense if tf was a world ruled by logic (its not) and mid compelling.
knock out is only duplicitous when hes following screamer to over throw megs but he has the MUCH higher quotient survival instincts so WILL chicken out and run away. AGAIN in a world with a less divorced megs this would be funny. most deadly guy every and his little unserious fop. who does violence and medical malpractice for fun. does NOT make sense. compels me for its LACK
SAME show meg.star is like. this show is logically challenged. so it doesnt make sense. nothing they do makes sense. its not HIGH on the compells me scale cause its not very cunty either. but theres merits. its. extant.
cv meg.star. already made that post. more unstable variant in the makes sense stat. im eating it up tho.
g1 meg.star THE GOAT!!! makes sense TO MEEEE. Compels MEEEEE. this is cartoon universe with cartoon logic its like tom and jerry romance. please. makes sense in context. COMPELLING
animated meg.star. essentially the same as g1 but screamer basically actually kills megs in ep 1 and when megs gets his body back he kills screamer right back. but. (plot magic crystal) screamer becomes unkillable so. they just go back on to trying to kill each other. EXPLAINED IN UNIVERSE. makes sense slapstick. slightly less compels me personally BUT not its fault.
arm.ada meg.star. THIS ONE IS ACTUALLY REAL AND SAD. instead of an over throwing screamer this one turncoated to the good guys. and hes so conflicted and sad and whatever. wet cat. this arm megs actually beat screamer in a duel and was like. well maybe one day youll get good enough to beat me (chewing glass). AND for the final arc of. the bots and cons have to work together. megs too driven by his own shit to see the.. (handwave) existential threat to them all. oppie is fighting him (their normal way of solving debates) and screamer actually BUTTS IN like. this is MY dramatic emotional gay fight scene. gets fatally wounded on purpose just to ask megs to work with them. 'do it for me'. LITERALLY REAL MAKES SENSE in a tragic failed way. infinitely compelling.
#some shit#its not called cisformers#links all of my own posts just for clarity and bc ive become a wiki imitating monster#took a while cause i got called away to other posts then needed to eat THEN added the links. <- saying so cause its funny to know.

Orange League, Episode 19 - Lorelei of the Elite Four! A Battle of Ice!!
Ash arrives on Mandarin Island, known in the dub as Mandarin Island. Not to be confused with Kinkan Island where Team Rocket For Real carried out their Drowzee scheme, known in the dub as Mandarin Island.
The titular Kanna/Lorelei is hosting an annual lecture on Pokemon battling. Everybody's excited, but Misty more than anyone; She's a big fan due to the overlap in Ice and Water Types.
By chance, Lorelei happens by. Ash persistently tries to demand that she fight him right here, right now, but she ignores him. He gets pissy and storms off to challenge some random guy instead.
Round 1: Squirtle vs. Persian
Ash is at a pretty strong disadvantage in terms of stats, but it's not so bad. The gulf between Squirtle and Persian is huge, but most of that is in Persian's Speed. Persian emphasizes Speed to the detriment of their other stats.
It's enough of a difference that Persian could easily take this, and it almost looks like they will when Persian fires off a TM Thunderbolt. But the gap in their Special is not so great, and Ash has enough of a level advantage to push through and KO with a Skull Bash.
Round 2: Squirtle vs. Tauros
Squirtle just took a Thunderbolt. A stiff breeze could KO them. A STAB Tackle from Tauros is practically overkill.
Round 3: Charizard vs. Tauros
This is much closer. Tauros is one of the all-around top-tier non-Legends in G1. They're a heavy bruiser built to move fast and hit hard with very strong STAB Normal moves, but with 95 Defense, they aren't suffering for tankiness either.
The chip in Tauros's armor is their low Special and HP, which Charizard's Fire moves can well take advantage of. Charizard is a lead contender in their own field. They fall short of Tauros in just about every area that matters. However, Tauros doesn't really have an answer to G1 Fire Spin. This could go either way.
Charizard refuses to obey orders, of course. But a STAB Take Down from a bruiser like Tauros is more than enough to get them motivated, so they end things surprisingly fast with a strong Flamethrower.
Winner: Ash!
Charizard goes berserk immediately afterwards, but Lorelei steps in to cool them off with her Slowbro. She invites Ash to her lecture and subsequent exhibition battles, attempting to mentor him after seeing his inability to connect with Charizard.
However, even after the demo, Ash insists he knows what's what and challenges Lorelei again. This time, she accepts, setting the rules as a simple 1v1.
Pikachu vs. Cloyster
Ash chooses Pikachu because he saw Lorelei's team at the exhibition and knows they're all Water Types. Pikachu can easily win by Type Advantage. Lorelei picks Cloyster.
An unusual choice. Cloyster specializes in Physical Defense. Their HP is fairly poor. And while their Special beats Pikachu's by a sizable margin, Pikachu's Type Advantage against Water more than evens those odds.
This really should be Ash's match. Lorelei only takes it by fudging Withdraw to raise Special instead of Defense. Her subsequent Aurora Beam and Take Down are nothing to write home about. Using Aurora Beam over Ice Beam is an odd pick for a Trainer of her caliber, and Take Down makes very little sense given Cloyster's poor Attack.
Lorelei Wins! For Some Reason
And with that victory, Lorelei delivers the point she's trying to make: Ash cares too much about Badges and Championship Trophies and winning battles, and not enough for the partners fighting for him. He can't connect with Charizard because he doesn't respect Charizard as an equal participant in these matches.
With that, Lorelei gives Ash directions to the next Gym in Big City/Trovitopolis and sends him on his way.

Transformers has had a pretty inconsistent history with video games, from the legendarily awful "Convoy no Nazo" to the excellent Cybertron duology from High Moon studios and plenty of middling games inbetween. One game I've always had a passing interest in is the 2004 PS2 title simply named "Transformers"
Despite the title, this game is actually based on the 2003 animated series "Transformers Armada". If I had to guess I'd say they wanted to try and appeal to nostalgic G1 fans as the game features quotes from the original Transformers movie in it's dialouge and unlockable PSAs from the original series.
The game is a 3rd person shooter with sandbox levels that put an emphasis on exploration. You have a specific path you need to follow to progress but the game won't stop you from exploring. The levels are surprisingly vast and can look really pretty at times. Although there isn't much variety, mostly jungles and arctic climates but this can be forgiven given the games short development cycle.
Your main collectibles are the minicons an ancient race of Transformers that act as weapons and upgrades. Each one has a power level with a maximum level you can't exceed meaning you have to be smart about which ones you use instead of just equipping the best ones. Although some minicons like the glider are necessary for level progression and I wish they could've just been additions to your core moveset instead of taking a slot.
There are also datacons which serve as unlockable extras. If you're a transformers fan there's actually some cool stuff in there like reference sheets and toy prototypes.
Your 3 playable autobots are Optimus Prime, Hot Shot and Red Alert. Each have different stats although I personally didn't notice much of a difference between them. Combat will see you strafing around shooting at enemies. You can transform but unfortunately it has no real function outside of traveling across the map slightly faster.
Your main enemies will be the decepticlones, basically a bunch of different types of faceless mooks for you to shoot at. They aren't to be taken lightly though, they can turn your autobot into swiss cheese if you aren't careful even on the easiest difficulty.
The boss fights against the main Decepticons are easily the highlight of the game. The most memorable being against the giant carrier transformer Tidal Wave. The ambition and scale that went into this fight really impressed me. The game managed to pull off a fight with a giant enemy so well that it baffles me how the final battle with Unicron ended up so dull.
Yeah the game definitely has its fair share of quirks. The game could definitely use a map and a way of tracking your collectibles in a stage. There are some weird control decisions like how jump is mapped to L1 because X is mapped to accelerate....in vehicle mode....and does nothing in robot mode. The most hilarious quirk is the ragdoll physics, you'll often see your autobot flaiing about when thrown and it's never not funny.
But these quirks are more than likely again, the result of the games short one year dev cycle and despite them all I actually came out really appreciating this game and everything it tried to do.
If you're a TF Fan and have a PS2 definitely check this one out.

Paradox Pokemon (But Just the Dinosaurs)
I think it’s fair to say that at this point in my life I have fallen out of interest in actually playing Pokemon games. The last one I finished was Pokemon Sun & Moon, which I thought was excellent! I didn’t finish Sword & Shield, and I think that’s mostly because the game is full of guardrails and reminders that are designed to keep the game playable for a four year old who may be learning to read, and in the process plays very slowly compared to how I want to play games. I do know enough about the game to think that most of the criticism of Pokemon as a franchise is at the very least, weird, if not outright bad faith nonsense.
Despite all this though, I love looking at Pokemon. I love watching streamers play it, and I love watching strategy reports from the real competitive scene. I am, for lack of a better word, a spectator. A fan.
This last generation of Scarlet & Violet, has brought with it something that I’ve wanted for so long, and never really formally been able to express. Thanks to time travel shenanigans – oh, spoilers, I guess? – this is the generation where we get to see Pokemon’s dinosaurs.
Pokemon has had ‘dinosaur Pokemon’ before, of course. I don’t just mean the perhaps-famous seeming dinosaur Pokemon like Tyranitar and Tyrantrum (as if Tyrantrum is famous to anyone who isn’t extremely into this franchise). I mean that back in G1, we had four pokemon in the Pokedex that represented prehistoric Pokemon, Pokemon from a bygone era and the ways they existed differentiated them from the rest of the Pokedex. As with many things in G1 — like gender and forking development — this involved a cool idea executed on roughly, that didn’t get expanded on until later.
Much later in this case.
Fossil Pokemon aren’t the same as the Paradox Pokemon. The Fossil Pokemon are unified by how you get them; you find an object in the game (usually only one of a set) and then you later on share it with a scientist who brings it back to life and now you have that in your team. The Fossil Pokemon are definitely designed to invoke ancient animals – Kabutops and Omastar are both trying to look like animals from our own ancient history, like the trilobite and prehistoric giant nautiluses.
Paradox Pokemon have a unified mechanical framework. They all have the ability Protosynthesis, which is an interesting thing (because Protosynthesis is pretty strong), and a really annoying thing (because it’s a lot more like the Paradox Pokemon don’t have any abilities at all, and therefore look like they’re not Pokemon any more).
It does create a coherent worldbuilding note; not one I have dug into at length, but which implies that the world they’re from is unified in the way that Pokemon in it relate. It’s probably a time when the biology of Pokemon and – oh no I’m doing it, aren’t I? I’m doing that thing where I imagine that Pokemon, which aren’t animals – follow the rules of animals!
Anyway, so right, Pokemon Dinosaurs. They are Dinosaurs to Pokemon; they are prehistoric, they are rudimentary, rougher and somehow unnatural and strange compared to the ones you’re familiar with. They get to show you the way that some Pokemon lineages have changed over time; Jigglypuff and Scream Tail are both related by a thread of music and sound powers, but Scream Tail is really fast, compared to Jigglypuff’s middling stats.
What’s even stranger there is that Wigglytuff is only evolved with a stone from the moon.
I think these Pokemon are cool. I think that dinosaurs are cool. And while Pokemon aren’t animals and don’t follow those rules for evolution and genetic distribution, they are absolutely an interesting thread for these things to walk down. Originally, I was pretty distmissive of the entire genre, because they were just, y’know, high-end, high-power, hard-to-acquire Pokemon for the competitive scene with high stats that weren’t going to be useful to the gameplay experience I wound up at.
Gouging Fire here is the one that tipped me over though. It’s a tiger. It’s a styracosaurus. It’s a fire elemental. It’s got the jaw of a bug and its’s got the face of a kamen rider. It is an absolutely amazing mix of components, a beast the likes of which any Pokemon could already be, but which here, contrasts itself with Entei (a Pokemon for whom I have no strong feelings), and the other Paradox Pokemon!
A brachiosaur! A therapsid!
The names are out-of-type too. They have names that read like, well, to be nice about it, someone translated their names into modern words, rather than tried to prononuce the word. It’s the way you’d hear Native Americans being named ‘translation of the actual sounds of your name’ and that’s why these days people think that Native Americans have names that are English.
Slither Wing, too! Slither Wing is a Pokemon that is derived from – but implied to be the progenitor too, but, y’know, the games were made in real world time scale, don’t worry about it – a flying bug, Volcarona. The way that it represents what starts as a flying bug and turns into a grounded bug is a pretty cool way to represent the way that traits evolved over time in the –
Wait, no, now I’m doing it again! They’re not animals!
But they feel like they’re evolving.
I like Paradox Pokemon. I wish they were a little more varied with their abilities. I wish they could show up in the normal timeline of the game instead of being a late-game thing for post-game material. If you could run around with these things early on I bet I’d be more interested in playing through the game and playing around with these cool little dinosaur gremlin monsters. I was always going to be a mark for ‘Pokemon explores prehistoric Pokemon’ but I wasn’t expecting them to take a big swing, and give me so many at once.
Oh there are also Pokemon from the future but I think most of them are boring and suck.
Check it out on PRESS.exe to see it with images and links!

my go-to active pet would probably be my girlie Estella from flight rising. female guardian with the mire flyer build, so basically a big ass glass canon. best used in ambushes (actually has x2 ambush ability stones... however that might translate irl). idk if the frogs/toads/snake would be alive when manifested. might be an issue since her lore is that those are her charges and she will prioritize their protection above all else.
uhhh after that i would probably manifest a buncha fucking lions. lol. theres my current king on lioden who im actually about to retire soon. level 19 with 800+ stat total which.... isn't too bad for a g1. this is literally Just A Lion. MAYBE depending on the month could have wacky powers. who knows.
something i havent thought about until now is where immortal pets could fit into this. like ok. most of the sites i play have immortal pets in the sense that they wont die on you and be gone forever but they will still have stats like HP for battle mechanics and such. but on lioden since those thangs can just Die you can make them immortal but then they just dont have any stats/hp associated with them they are basically just trophies. so i'm not sure if they could be manifested since they would . be basically invincible? anyways i wouldlove if my girl blessing could be real. shes so cool.
finally um i guess theres goatlings. thyere just goats. i would probably make Namiine or Rucksack real. Namiine is like level 21 and Rucksack doesn't have any training. i just think he's cute.
UGH I FORGOT ABOUT LORWOLF. i hate that thing but i still have a soft spot for like two of them. Nadira and Toasty. Nadira is my founder creature and Toasty is her spawn. they both used to be regular lupin but Narida got changed to a uhhhh what the fuck are they called. ugh 'direwolf' so i could capitalize on their release. it worked but at what cost. i should probably change her back but im lazy. Toasty is probably a normal gray wolf thing but Nadira has. like. poison synergy. maybe. i dont remember idgaf about lorwolf GOOTBYE.
we need a jojo antagonist that wont shut up about browser based virtual pet sims. and that jojo antagonist will be me.
#ouuuuuuuuuuuuuu my animallsese#now that i remembered lorwolf i remebered wolvden and i cannot open that thing up again lest i explode#i do love my wolvden wolves more than the lorwolf things but its in a way that is detrimental to my psyche... lupe i'll come back for you.#some day.

Masterpiece 36+
Megatron
by Takara (2018)
I got Masterpiece Megatron for my birthday...back in May 2020. Yea, I’m a little late on this one, but to be honest, I’ve been holding off on opening this up for two reasons: One, I hear the transformation is a beast, and I just haven’t been mentally prepared for it, and TWO: I felt like this needed to be an event before I could remove it from the box...as if my 40th birthday wasn’t an event enough.
But regardless I’m finally doing it now, and let this be my return to routine posting again after a looooong hiatus..
Box:
The MP boxes are usually simply a matte black box with the figure prominently displayed and this is really no different.
It’s a simple, elegant box showing off the figure trapped within.
Collector’s Card:
Like all MPs Megatron comes with a collector’s card with a him stand a pose similar to his old G1 baox art and stats on the back which I cannot read. The card quality is decent with a decent gloss.
Collector’s coin:
MP-36+ came with a collector’s coin sealed in within a plastic bubble on a really nice card made up to look like Megatron’s chest.
I’d hate to tear it apart, so I’ve decided to leave it on the card.
Robot Mode:
MP-36+ is a retool of MP-36 meant to be less cartoon accurate and more like his G1 toy which is the main reason why I wanted to check this figure out instead of the getting the base MP-36.
Not owning the original G1 Megatron toy until my 21st birthday this (the OG G1 toy) was always fascinating for me; I remember staring and studying the old Transformers toy pamphlet and wanting it as a kid.
Right out of the box MP-36+ is an impressive figure; that chrome silver is so good, and a lot of the color detail and tampograph looks straight out of the G1 toy.
The head sculpt has that cold, and cruel stare, and the curly-Q on the chest is a great touch.
Megatron’s joints are mainly soft ratchets and he can hold a pose well.
Well he passes the high-kick pose, so that’s a bonus!
Transformation:
In order to properly transform MP Megatron, I watched one of Emgo’s videos out of fear that I was going to break it.
Transforming this figure is definitely a challenge, and especially when you consider that chrome paint can eventually wear off if you touch it too often, so I was very hesitant to touch it, yet alone alter its shape.
I’m fairly certain the chrome paint adds an extra layer to the toy, because I was occasionally having difficulty getting certain parts of the gun mode to snap into place. [See below]
Naturally every time a piece did snap into place I flinched a bit, fearing that I was going to chip away at the chrome.
(below) Part of the Megatron’s transformation process is to collapse his shins by folding panels, and sort of accordion-ing each leg in on itself.
Well, it’s easier to transform the legs into gun mode than it is to turn him back into robot mode. Un-accordion-ing those legs back into lode-bearing status was not an easy process. I had to resort to metal picks to un-wedge things, and I was afraid that I was going to break the figure. I didn’t, but it was a task, to put it mildly...
Gun Mode:
Megatron’s weapon mode is a Walther P-38 with a silencer, scope, and stock, and this thing (minus the orange tip) looks frighteningly real.
The gun mode is a pretty solid object. It fit comfortable in my hands, and you can squeeze the spring-loaded trigger.
Yea, you can see a lot of the panel details, and I’m not sure there’s much that really can be done about that.
The fact that such a solid, and fun, evil robot can even compress into something so compact is really good engineering.
Once you add the silencer, scope, and stock it completes that classic Megatron gun mode.
The only true issue have with this mode is that the silencer is a very loose fit, so if you’re holding it in your hands the silencer slumps down a bit, and I’m not a fan of that. I’m sure there’s a way to tighten that connection, but I’ll have to do a little research on that.
As a static object it does looks really good.
Comparing MP-36+ to the original G1 Megatron you can see how near identical they are except for the size difference.
Accessories:
Moving on to accessories (aside from the collector’s card) are the arm cannon, scope and stock, smooth chest panel, and three additional faces (cartoon accurate)
--Alternate chest:
Megatron comes with two chest plates, both chromed out in silver. One has just the Decepticon badge, and other has the black curly-Q’s from the original G1 toy.
The chest slides off very easily, and is a breeze to snap on.
--Alternate faces:
Aside from the G1 toy-styles face Megatron comes with three faces which are more accurate to the Sunbow cartoon design (which also came with the original run of the figure) which is a neutral face, and yelling face, and a laughing face.
Thanks to the swappable faces of Masterpiece Megatron you can make your own tragedy & comedy muses. So that’s cool.
Orange Tip:
The orange cap over Megatron’s gun barrel has been a big road block for me in not only posting this figure, but every other toy that I’ll be posting after this.
The orange tip is meant to be a safety plug so that police don’t confuse Megatron’s gun mode for a real gun. It’s an admirable gesture, and I do agree with it, however for my copy I believe some jokster super glued the plug into the barrel, and that has been a problem for me...
The tried and true method for removing the plug is to heat it up with a blow dryer and it’s supposed to be easily removed with either pliers or just your fingers. I attempted that a several times, and it didn’t work, so I’ve had to resort to other methods.
I’ve been using a dremmel to bore out the orange plug, and it’s widdling it away but I have to be careful not to damage the toy, which I might have already scuffed up the barrel of the gun at this point. It’s been a slow and annoying process. All because some clown thought it would be funny to super glue the plug...
Final Thoughts:
In my opinion MP-36 is a fantastic Megatron, and a great addition to my Masterpiece collection.
The figure is solid, is really fun to pose, and I love the modified face of the original toy; this collectable has got a lot of personality.
My concerns are to be very careful with the transformation; it can be complicated (especially with the legs), but a little fun too, and I’m worried the chrome silver will eventually chip away, especially in areas that are clipped together during transformation.
I highly recommend the figure, however be wary of that orange plug. I have been trying, and trying, and trying to remove it, and it’s got to be glued in; someone though they were really funny, and I’m not laughing.

one of my friesian foals on Horse Reality just grew up to have brown tinted hair ;__; (aka my fav coat+mane color blackish coat with brownish hair) im so happy ghutggjbkfsdkgahsgsfdg i thought he was gonna have black hair
named him Wintermute after The Long Dark story + close to Winterborn
after that i had to go browse the horse sales to see if i could find a mare with similar colouring so i can try breed more of them, and i found this one who is GORGEOUS im in love with her (her original name was just her stats, i renamed her Northern Star after a non-sso horse oc i have, Evening Star, and also after the Mel C song and a g1 MLP we had as kids called North Star lol) shes so beautiful with her little marking i could cry. wish she was real
she seemed to have not been cared for for a few days so between that and the ‘just stats numbers’ name i feel like i rescued her which i love. shes perfect im happy i found exactly the mare i was looking for
wish i could speed up the breeding process bc im so curious to see if ill get a foal with brown mane or not from them im dying.
trying to make winterborn in every horse game that allows it is one of my only excitements in life

Guide to GB
hi ;0 sorry it’s me again. I noticed that maybe yesterday or the day before, there was a discussion on how people made GB without buying any, and a lot of people mentioned event stuff. That usually requires a bit of research (if you’re just getting started on lioden) and can be overwhelming. So this post is for anyone who needs it—anyone who is new to event grinding and trying to step up from being a casual player, or just trying to make a few more bucks.
In almost every month, new apps will be released, and typically those will sell well out of season… but there are a few hot items that will always be almost always be on SOMEONE’S radar, and I’ll tell you about them now!
—–
Mod note: You should probably post this on a public blog so it can go into the Lioden tag. We don’t post in there incase people don’t want to see our blog. Or even in the forums.
January - January’s event is mostly filled with decor, but save up your SB a month or so in advance, because when the 3rd tier is unlocked, you can buy some pretty neat stuff that sells well later on! Lion meat can be purchased at T3 in the event shop for 2000SB! If you hold onto it for later, you can make 8-10GB per meat! Prices tend to shoot up during February, so if you wait to get full worth, you could be earning 13-15GB from a 2000GB (about 2GB) investment. As always, branch prices ALWAYS fluctuate, so forgive me if my ranges are a little off. But typically, that’s the general profit you can make from lion meat.
Then, MOD Overgrown Fur can be purchased for 4000SB when Tier 4 is unlocked! Popularity varies among players, but it’s definitely something you can sell… personally, I would invest more in lion meat, but it’s up to you!
In January, there is also the Boneyard! Save up your LB because digging about in the yard or donating skulls can get you a selection of three items, which can be quite useful if you know what you’re looking for.
Vulture eggs, broken drones, giant tortoises, leopard orchids, MOD: Primal, and lion meat may appear! You can then purchase them with event currency!
Vulture eggs and broken drones sell well in bulk. Giant tortoises on average sell really well for about 1-2gb MOD: Primal varies, again, around 10-15gb is what I’ve seen post-January. And lion meat was mentioned above!
Oh! And you’d be surprised… don’t skip out on those leopard orchids! They might seem a little lame, but you can sell them for 1gb! And holy COW they sell fast! Why? Because the normal auto-claim on a lioness in explore is 2gb, so players will jump on those leopard orchids for 1gb each! I’ve sold mine recently in under 5 minutes, it was surprising!
February - February is a special chaos. I’m not kidding, every bit of your event currency will be desired sitewide.
Tier 2 in the flirt shop allows access to honeycombswhich can be sold fast for 1gb… though they have an expiration date, so maybe not the best investment since prices drop in February. You can also find Grains of Paradise (GOP) which guarantee at least 2 cubs in a litter! These will sell out of season for up to 21GB from what I’ve seen, but prices will fluctuate and crawl up and down. Regardless, you’re looking at about a 8-15gb profit on average depending on what the branch prices look like.
Tier 3 in the flirt shop and slap shop, my friends, is where it gets wild. Buffalo balls, which guarantee at least 3 cubs in a litter, will be available along with an item called Yohimbe bark, which chops 1 day off of a lioness’ breeding cooldown! Out of season, yohimbe barks sell for around 12-15gb each! And Buffalo balls, which are always in high demand, can climb from a price of 6gb during February to 16 to 20gb! Later on by summer, buffy balls can reach as much as 25–and I’ve seen as much as 45gb… a big leap! So hold onto them. And again, prices will always fluctuate, so don’t hold me firm on these prices if you don’t see them please ;;;
Apps, again, vary depending on the community opinion on them… once more, all newer apps will sell well. Personally, I find the February apps gorgeous, but if you want to make quick sales after February and make the most of your event grinding, I would invest in breeding items.
In the slap shop, there are lion scrotums when T3 is unlocked! They guarantee a 25% chance of passing a mutation on… though this does not account for hybrids. Dwarves require these in order to pass on their mutation, and double uteruses do as well. DU and dwarf breeders will always be on the lookout for these! But prices on these make me narrow my eyes. Buffy balls can be used for all lions, but lion scrotums are only useful if you’re breeding dwarves or DUs. Thus, buffy balls will almost always sell faster than lion balls from my personal experience—but that doesn’t mean lion scrotums aren’t worth buying! Due to their slightly higher price compared to buffy balls in the event shop, they tend to sell for just a bit more than buffies do! But bewarned that come the May event, I believe, they will become available once more in an event shop.
March - March brings in more decor than it does breeding items, but there are still ways to profit! While you might be tempted to snag the newest apps, hold off and try to gauge the public opinion… for example, recently Hirola was released… and it seems sort of meh, so you won’t see a big demand for it. It’s the base apps that are involved involved in combo-base breeding that are the key!!! The ivory base can be used in two combo bases as a factor: Soul and Madagascar! So pick up that One With Giants app! It can be resold for a fair amount!
April - April is another event heavy on decor, but there are at least a few nice things! Egg yolks in the event shop will be heavily desired by stat breeders, so you can pick up those to sell—beware they also have expiration dates. Personally, I think the real good stuff is in Wenet’s shop! Doing her quests grants you hare points to spend. Stocking up on roasted lambs is a very good idea—these double your energy gained for 8 hours!!! They’ll be floating around during April for 1-3GB on average. And if you hold onto them until February, they shoot up in demand and can go for about 12-16gb each! It’s not difficult to pump out at least 8-9 roasted lambs during April, so that’s a few extra $$ in your pocket if you’re patient enough!
May - In May you can purchase red bulls, which are similar energy boosters like roasted lambs! These sell well, and as mentioned previously, lion scrotums make their return! Also, there is a chance to obtain male groupies, which are heritageless lions like NCLs that can be used to replace your king and essentially make it a G1! These sell for fairly good prices throughout the year due to people changing/replacing kings! Make sure to patrol them or freeze them on your side account (so they don’t age too much), and you can fetch quite the pretty penny depending on the market. I once, out of season, bought a heritageless groupie, one of the only few remaining on TC, for 75GB. Do I regret not waiting? Yes. Is it too late to cry? Totally.
June - June. Lovely June. Side with one of the deities or gods or whatever during the event, and once you finish their story line, you’ll get a base applicator that typically is worth a decent amount of GB out of season depending on which one you’re selling. Let it be noted that anubis, bast, seth, and sha are ALL factors of a combo-base, which is why combo-breeders will be willing to pay a good sum of money for those apps. Check the lowest branch price if you’re looking to sell!
July - Pack your bags and get ready to grind hardcore again, July brings a new base that usually has breeders scrambling to obtain, and there are also GORGEOUS backgrounds and decor to buy. Not only that, but for shards in the event shop, you can buy applicators that ALL sell fairly well. Well… mane apps might be iffy. But let me point out a few things worth snagging: Sunrise markings! Sunset markings! These two are almost ALWAYS going for a jaw dropping sum, I’ve seen 40-70 each, but DONT hold me on that please.
Curse of divine is a combo base factor for Elysian, a fairly popular base. Snag it! Touch of demiurge is a gorgeous base, and it sells pretty well! Grab that if you want!
And of course, whatever new comes out, make sure to gauge the audience… though in July, most everything new is going to be a good investment.
August - August is a pain in my opinion. Grinding DB to buy buffy balls is rough. But let me mention the stuff to invest in! The peddler allows you to buy vulture eggs, broken drones, and lucky feet—all of which sell nicely in big quantities.
I failed to mention this in April, but lucky feet will be in an abundance. SAVE THEM. Lucky feet are used to automatically win battles, and they come in handy for October, which is heavily combat based!
Buffalo scrotums and Grains of Paradise also make their comeback at the peddler, though I can’t give you a good price range on those. I will say that by August, the market for breeding items gets a bit dry, and so prices will be higher—much higher than they were in February.
September - September is good for one thing, and only one thing… actually scratch that—two things, and only two things primarily. GMO cows and ochre gnawrocks. Anyone playing lioden long enough knows that GMO cows are a big item used in mutation breeding, it ups the chance GREATLY of getting a mutated litter—even moreso than lion meats do. These things are WHACK. They sell for 45-60GB out of season, and in February, MANY people will be trying to buy them. Ochre gnawrocks guarantee the passing of a specific marking. Rosettes are very hard-to-breed markings due to their low pass rates, and mottled rosette is a hybrid originating marking. Thus, ochre gnawrocks will go for big bucks out of season, especially during February. 45-60GB is the common price that I’ve seen, although one year it was wild enough to reach 80GB. It all depends, but regardless, both items are good to grind for.
Oh! And in the Harbringer’s shop, there are black stallions, which sell well for 1-4GB all year long. They essentially guarantee that a lioness gets pregnant once for a breeding. This is very helpful to people breeding low fert lionesses like hybrids. Although, angelic blessings do a longer lasting job and sell for more… more on that later, you can’t get those during this month.
October - Then comes October, the battle-oriented event that I mentioned previously is what you should be saving your lucky feet for.
Let me try to get this all down. There is a general shop in which you can buy applicators and decor, and quite a few of the base apps in the shop are factors for combo bases. For example, Unholy is involved in 3 combo bases! And blazing is in another. Fiery is also in one, and I really can’t go into specifics because I’m not a big combo-breeder, but a quick google can give you the idea.
Then, you can side with heaven or hell, in which you’ll collect the respective currencies for whichever one you might go with. In heaven, you can get Angelic blessings, which as mentioned previously, are like black stallions. However, when you equip them to a lioness, they’ll get pregnant no matter what their fertility in one go for as long as they live/are using the blessing. Be warned that removing the blessing, which “acts” like a decor, will cause it to be used up. You won’t get it back, it’s a 1-use item. These sell well for 10-15gb out of season.
Shadows of death are what you can purchase in Hell’s shop. This will shorten your lioness’ life by 1 day—which in turn also removes a breeding cooldown day. These sell fairly well for about 10-14gb out of season! Surprisingly enough, I would say they get used fairly frequently—although the idea of killing your lioness might make it hard to believe.
Then there’s the manticore shop, where you can buy things like fermented marula fruit, medlar fruit (good for cub training to 100% immediately), dove feasts, RMAs, and crunchy worms. Dove feasts can be crafted in February, RMAs can be purchased at any time in the Oasis all year long, and medlar fruit on the market is a bit shakey considering that it’s not hard to train a cub to 100% without items. The real market investment here are the crunchy worms, which give a 25% of producing a clone cub of the mother in a litter. Again, these will sell VERY well out of season, especially during February. I don’t feel confident on giving a good price estimate, but as I’m writing this, the average price appears to be about 30GB, and it is early April.
November - Deep breaths, we’re almost done! November is where you’ll mostly be saving your event currency to buy the newest released base app or decor. I recommend saving your herbs, because I believe November is heavily herb-based. Giant tortoises are also available in the shop!
December Here we go, most all December event apps are HOT HOT HOT! And the jolly pose in the event shop is also fairly desirable! Save for those Jolly poses, and save for that newly released base, marking, whatever. Many of the bases in the event shop here are used in combo-base breeding.
I should note that spicy ice tends to have year-round popularity! It’s a factor for a whopping 4 combo bases! That’s a lot!
Along with that, frostbitten markings seem to have a decent amount of popularity, though things always always fluctuate. Check lowest branch prices, and with newer apps, always scan the community for the general feedback before investing.
And that’s it for event stuff!
Here’s the biggest advice of all…
If you want GB fast, sell the items listed above DURING the events.
If you want to make a profit/get rich, sell the items listed above MONTHS AFTER the events!

So I’m starting to wrap up on my current work so now it’s time to return to finishing off the demo for MLP generations.
While I’m doing that I thought I would show off some of the artwork I made for the game and how it compares to the original.
So here’s my Troggle. For reference here’s the original.
Not bad right? I got the basic outfit down. Clips from G1 is not a great source material and that’s not just due to the resolution being quite poor. There’s a lot of animation errors in that show.
Some real sweat shop goofs.
I tried to make an effort to really avoid recolors of characters but I still ended up recoloring Troggle for late game because I loved the model too much to only have it relevant in early game.
The Troggle is very early cannon fodder. They swarm you, they get summoned often, they have an over world sprite and their stats and kit is designed specifically so anyone can take them out but you can still die to them purely through extremely bad luck or over extension.

Everyone join me.
The NEVER trios will change hands four times during g1 season, calling it now
Personally I think we should all post our unhinged g1 booking predictions ala @jupiterjunebug and play some sort of monstrous g1 bingo with them.

Episode 22 - Abra and the Psychic Showdown
And just like that, we're here. Ash has successfully sequence-broke the Saffron gatekeepers and made it to Saffron City way early. I would say he is definitely not leveled appropriately for this, but Ash has a knack for losing fights he should win and winning fights he should lose. So the odds are in his favor.
Team Rocket's scheme makes a nice reference to the Silph Co. building and its Warp Tiles. But then Sabrina just nopes their scheme away because we have business to attend.
Sabrina sets the rules as a 1v1 match. She sends out an unevolved Abra to Ash's Pikachu, but somehow evolves Abra in the middle of the match. (!!!) I think this was done just for the sake of having a chance to show off Abra and their one move Teleport before getting to the real fight.
Kadabra, Sabrina's weakest Pokemon, kicks Pikachu's teeth in so hard that it barely even constitutes a fight. Yeah. That's about right. That is exactly the correct outcome for coming here this early.
Shit goes south in a weird way because anime Sabrina is terrifying, but an old man who warned Ash against challenging her shows up to save the day. Ash figures if he just raises his Speed stat, he can oneshot Sabrina's Pokemon in the next fight before she has a chance to attack.
(Good fucking luck with that. The Alakazam line is a Special blitzer. That's what makes this particular line so OP in G1. Alakazam is the 6th-fastest Pokemon in the game, with Kadabra not far behind at #11. Alakazam also has 2nd-highest Special stat, behind only fucking Mewtwo, with Kadabra at #8. Fighting Sabrina is an exercise in "She goes first and oneshots you. Use next Pokemon?")
So the old man sends Ash on a fool's errand to get a Ghost Pokemon from Lavender Town. (Although intended to be an effective counter against Sabrina, poor subtyping and the nonexistence of any decent Ghost moves puts the one and only Ghost line in the game firmly into the realm of "Sabrina moves first and super-effective oneshots you. Use next Pokemon?)
Good luck, bro.

G1 Climax in Dallas preview
This is the first day of the 29th G1 Climax tour, featuring the first five of 91 (!) tournament matches. The ten men in A Block will meet on this show, while the ten men in B Block team with undercard guys to preview their tournament matches on July 13. I’ll probably go over the tournament as a whole later, but this show deserves some special attention.
Each tournament match is worth two points--two points to the winner, zero for the loser, or one apiece if it goes to a 30 minute draw. (Any other outcome gives everybody zero points.) Whoever has the most points in his block faces the leader of the other block in the final match.
The first night of the G1 is always a special occasion, but this time is more special because it’s the tournament’s first show outside of Japan. Everybody is bound to be working hard to make a big impression. The show will air live on AXS TV in the US and everywhere else on NJPW World. (Americans who don’t have AXS will have to wait a few days to see it on-demand on NJPW World.)
Kazuchika Okada vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi - Okada is the IWGP heavyweight champion, but titles aren’t at stake in the G1 Climax. This will be the 14th match between these two, but Okada was just a rookie in the first one in 2010. The rivalry really began when Okada returned from excursion in 2012 and won the heavyweight title from Tana in a huge upset. Tanahashi is currently 6-5-2 against Okada in singles matches, but the more interesting stat is that Tana is 1-0-2 against Okada in the G1 Climax. They’ve met in the tournament three times and went to the time limit twice.
This is the biggest match New Japan could deliver in 2019. They didn’t do it at Wrestle Kingdom, and they didn’t do it at Madison Square Garden, but they’re doing it here in Dallas. I feel pretty privileged to get to see it live. That being said, it’s technically the ninth year of the rivalry, and we’ve come full circle from Tana in his prime versus a young boy to Okada in his prime versus a beat-up veteran. Sooner or later Tanahashi won’t have enough left in the tank to live up to the standards of this series, and we’ll see a bad Okada/Tana match. It could happen here. So I’m trying to keep my expectations from soaring too high. Then again, Tana is probably as rested as he can be, and it’s the first night of the tournament, so conditions are good for him to leave it all in the ring. But I worry about him, y’know?
Under the circumstances I have to predict a time limit draw. That’s probably not the right finish for this show, but on paper you expect this matchup to go either way and to go long, and history supports a tie. Okada “deserves” to even up the series and avenge his losses last year, but that only makes him a slim favorite.
Kota Ibushi vs. KENTA - Ibushi would be one of the best wrestlers in the world except he keeps doing crazy spots where he damn near breaks his neck, to the point that I kinda dock points from his matches over it. Kenta Kobayashi may be best known to American fans as Hideo Itami on NXT and 205 Live, but he was frustrated with his WWE run and recently returned to Japan. He goes by KENTA to avoid confusion with the legendary wrestler Kenta Kobashi, although I personally find that just makes it more confusing.
This is Kenta’s first New Japan match, aside from a one-off very early in his career in 2002. He started out in All Japan, staying there only briefly before joining Mitsuharu Misawa’s big exodus to found Pro Wrestling NOAH. Kenta rose through the ranks to be a key guy, and held every championship in Noah. It was widely expected that he would return to Noah once he departed WWE, but he instead chose to join New Japan, making his first appearance...on the tenth anniversary of Misawa’s tragic in-ring death. Noah loyalists were not thrilled with that.
New Japan is clearly trying to book an instant classic by starting Kenta out on this show with Ibushi. Expectations will be through the roof. I may be watching this one through my fingers, though, considering how many injuries Kenta has sustained and how quickly Kota has burned through his nine lives. Kenta should get the win here, but the real point is whether they can steal the show from Okada/Tanahashi.
Zack Sabre, Jr. vs. SANADA - Sabre is the RevPro British heavyweight champion, but again titles aren’t at stake in the G1. The match should be decent, but these are two middle-of-the-pack heavyweights. They occasionally build up these guys as serious threats to the top stars, but it never lasts and they end up fighting each other in the midcard. The winner will have momentum in the early going of the tournament but I don’t expect either man to be a major factor in the endgame. A bigger issue for Sabre is his opponent for the London show shortly after the G1, since that could be a major challenge to his title. If Sanada wins here, it would make sense to give him that spot. But I’m kinda thinking Sabre will get the two points this time.
EVIL vs. Bad Luck Fale - Fale is a big fat man and his G1 tournament matches are generally lowlights. He’s in there so that not every match is about lean well-conditioned dudes killing themselves for a four-star rating. The idea is that each of the wrestlers in the block get “a night off” selling for Fale’s power moves. This probably won’t be a mat classic but somebody has to work with Fale on this show so the other matches can be good-to-great. Evil is one of the bigger guys in this tournament so even if this Fale match won’t be a technical marvel, it can be a good BIG MEAN GUY MATCH~! and that’ll be a fun change of pace on this show. Evil will probably finish the block with more points, but he doesn’t have to win here--I could see Fale coming out ahead here to hype his upcoming matches.
Will Ospreay vs. Lance Archer - Ospreay is the IWGP junior heavyweight champion and the winner of the 2019 Best of Super Jr. tournament, the junior heavyweight equivalent to the G1. He’s been lobbying to do double duty as a junior and a heavyweight, and being in this tournament fulfills that dream. He’s at the top his game this year, but he’s in Dallas, Texas, with hometown boy Lance Archer, who is big and tall and scary.
This is Archer’s first big match since news got out that his tag team partner Dave Boy Smith, Jr. decided to quit New Japan. It’s also his first appearance in the G1 in several years, since he’s been primarily a midcard tag team guy for so long. He’s got a lot to prove, then. More to the point, Ospreay eliminated Archer in the New Japan Cup tournament earlier this year, so Lance has revenge on his mind.
My guess is that, at the end of the tournament, Ospreay will have a much nicer score than Archer. But for right here and now, the story should be that this won’t be as easy as Ospreay might have hoped, and he should struggle in the early going to find his footing. Also it’s pretty clear the local fans are going to vocally support the most American/Texan guy on this entire show. Lance Archer really ought to win.
Tetsuya Naito & Shingo Takagi & BUSHI vs. Juice Robinson & Toru Yano & Jushin Thunder Liger - Since Naito vs. Yano and Juice vs. Shingo are the tournament matches scheduled for July 13, here’s a sneak preview. Aside from Archer, Juice is the biggest American name on this show, so he may be unusually popular here. Of course, Naito’s LIJ stable is the cool thing these days, but in the US it’s more of an underground sensation so far compared to Bullet Club.
Let’s talk about Jushin Thunder Liger. He looks like the Ultimate Warrior had a baby with a Power Ranger, and the baby was a villain on the Japanese Spider-Man TV show. This old dude’s been around forever and he’s cool as fuck and he’s retiring in January 2019. This won’t be his last match in the US but it’s pretty much my last chance to see him live and I’m kinda stoked. I hope they play his entrance music and he showboats for the crowd and stuff.
The LIJ team should probably win, but fuck that. Give me Liger.
Jay White & Chase Owens vs. Hirooki Goto & YOSHI-HASHI - White and Goto have been feuding of late, and they’ll be meeting in a tournament match on July 13. Chase and Yoshi are here to carry the load and lose falls. This should be a pretty basic match but at least it ensures we get to see White on this show. Chase is the biggest jobber here so I think he’ll probably get pinned by Goto.
Tomohiro Ishii & Shota Umino vs. Jeff Cobb & Ren Narita - Ishii is facing Cobb on July 13. Ironically the biggest storyline here may be Shota Umino, the young boy that Jon Moxley “adopted” to be his tag partner in this tour. Moxley himself can’t appear on this date (AEW has exclusivity on his US appearances), but he’ll be here in spirit through Shota. I don’t expect much advancement of the story on this show, but the Dallas crowd might have some amusing chants about Moxley’s curious, one-sided relationship with Umino. Obviously Umino and Narita are there to lose, but I can’t decide which of them will get beat so it could go either way.
Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa vs. SHO & YOH - Tama and Loa, the Guerillas of Destiny, are currently the IWGP heavyweight tag team champions and the ROH tag team champions, but neither title as at stake here. I hadn’t expected them to be on this show at all, let alone wrestling a non-title match with a junior heavyweight team like Roppongi 3K. R3K have held the junior tag belts several times, and you’d figure a win over GOD would be an unexpected turn to propel them in the heavyweight division. So this match is kinda out of left field, and it’s hard to guess what the purpose of it is. The simplest explanation, though, is that New Japan wanted to showcase two top tag teams (albeit from separate divisions) for the US audience. If that’s all it is, the Tongans should easily cruise to victory in a hot opener.
