Secondly, I wanted to ask, how do you think the wizards would take it if they had been sentenced to Lightrock rather than Omega? And to answer the second part; Honestly I kinda vibe with the idea, I think about it sometimes, briefly. But that's because I'm biased and I simply don't want them to be frozen for eternity. Or for however long the comics kept them there before making them work for some guy and eventually imprisoning them in Solaria boo boo tomato. Absolutely YOINKED them from their planet, which ig Lightrock would also do. But like. That's different.

How would they take it though? Hmmmm yeah probably beats Omega, if only because they're together and able to talk to each other. Hopefully. Unless they're separated. I think Ogron would struggle the most, he's still experiencing some very strong emotions of the angry sort- but I feel like he'd eventually be fine as long as he's with Gantlos and Anagan who are TIRED. And in mourning. Ogron will get there too. Is Lightrock the absolute perfect solution for them that will fix all their problems though? Will they straight up vibe there without any issues? No!! But I really don't think they're as kill kill destroy as modern Winx writing is trying to sneak in there, they can be civil! At least for as long as it would take to get the "yeah lol they're fine now" stamp of approval so they can be on their way, which I think is the end goal? It's a rehabilitation thing right, those aren't permanent usually, I don't think.

Okay this is a cool blog I love all the Drayton stuff the angst it fuels me. Something about wanting to see your fav put into situations

For an angsty scene, I like to think that the Terrarium can still be dangerous if someone gets caught off guard. Maybe Drayton's been training in the Polar Biome and all his Pokemon are exhausted. His plan is to find a rest area to heal up.

Maybe on the way he got blindsided by a wild Pokemon or its attack (the Beartics in that always chase me lmao). Got knocked out for a bit and when he rouses, he realises that adrenaline is one hell of a drug. Gotta go find help or something cause it messed up his ankle and he's got no mons to help. His Rotom Phone either ran out of juice or broke from the attack

Just thinking about him stumbling his way through the snow, always tripping and falling without a support stick or something. Pain and fear warred within him and he's just trying to get somewhere safe

Maybe E4 realises something's up when they try to contact Drayton but it says it's not available after he missed something he promised to attend. Just picturing them heading out to find clues on what happened till it led them to the Polar Biome, where they sent out a search until they found him, battered and one step away from a panic attack but, y'know, alive

Omfsss imagine tho him beating himself up bc he wasn't that fit to run such distance from wild pokemon, also the wild pokemon suddenly attacking him too, and he's there going on abt if he just really tried to keep up w Drayden's training, then maybe he'd be able to really fight back even without his pkmn; but he didn't, and it sucks, and now he's trying to find a safer place to stay, hoping help will arrive soon

But also tho imagine him thinking that no one's gonna help him, that maybe people thought he was just slacking somewhere else, that he's probs sleeping in the club room or inside one of the abandoned and empty classrooms, and the fear creeps up on him y'know, it scares him that maybe his laziness would really be the reason for his downfall like everyone said it'd be. Just him finally finding a place to hide, but the fear is still there y'know, the paranoia he has that maybe the others won't bother finding him, that they really think he's just taking a nap somewhere and forgot abt their lil meet up

And soon that fear starts to build up, that paranoia along with his self loathing just clawing out from within his chest, he wants to scream. He can feel his breath hitch, his chest feels tight, tears threatening to fall, Arceus he really was a failure

When helped finally arrived, he almost thought he was just hallucinating from the fatigue, that the Crispin and Lacey and Amarys he sees are just figments of his imagination, his own mind messing w him even more, but no, those really are his friends, and it only took for Crispin to call out his pokemon to help warm Drayden up

Imagine him just gripping Crispin's arms tight, grounding himself too. Crispin was warm, he doesn't wanna let go, god he hasn't stopped shivering. Amarys and Crispin had to help him up to take him outta there, Lacey was there carrying the pokeballs Drayton has, half muttering how all his pokemon are in no condition to fight anymore, Lacey's there reassuring him that they'll have all his pokemon healed

When they got him to the nurse's office imagine them not wanting to leave this side tho hahah like, that's their friend, no, they won't leave him behind again, doesn't matter how long they have to wait for him to recover and wake up again, they won't ever leave his side again

Hcs regarding wyll and his stone eye/disability

Wyll cannot see from his stone eye. Mizora can, he cannot. His eye is made of glass, and is very uncomfortable as is typical of the glass eyes made during the 1600s. It is partially connected to the muscles in the socket, so it can move slightly, though not entirely, and not as quickly as his other eye, but cannot be removed except when Mizora wants to replace it. It is a "stock eye" and Mizora has many like them, Zariel mass produces them, none of them are fitted in particular. Mizora comes to him for regular "cleanings" every three weeks to check in on him and clean the eye, as he cannot remove it on his own, though he has tried, and been punished for it. (Eye prosthesis need to be cleaned that often.) Such visits were met with dread, however, he can always tell when his eye is getting "dirty" as the socket is drier and the eye drops he uses dont work as well. His eyes are lubricated by placing his fingers in the drops, and then spreading them over the eye. He has no applicator on the lid like modern prosthesis, and the stone eye is round.

About every nine months, Mizora replaces the eye with a new stock eye and throws the other eye away. Around the end of that nine month period, his eyelid can start to sag, and if Mizora is too busy to make time for him, he may even experience eye drainage.

Wyll's first eye was damaged in the fight, but such was preordained. Mizora then took out the damaged eye and replaced it. This means that while Wyll was given immeasurable magical power, he immediately lost half his field of vision

People who lose half their vision need up to a year, sometimes longer, to regain the ability to do menial physical tasks without help, and sometimes experience weak grip. He has to turn his head more, its harder for him to judge not just distance---but size. He had to make the walk back to Baldur's Gate to see his Father unsteady on his feet, face him with a demon in his eye, unable to properly wield a sword the way his Father taught him, and be turned away, to learn and train to interact with the physical world again

Anyway Wyll's disability and trauma is very real!

As a general note, nothing is reflected in Wyll's eye, it doesn't catch the light. If you look closely into his pupil, though, you feel watched, and though his eye is grey, you detect notes of blue.... and orange.
