so I got letters to milena for myself and now I'm wondering if it's a good idea to start off reading Kafka from this?

I'd say it's a wonderful place to start! Kafka always seems super unapproachable in terms of writing because a lot of people idolize him and English teachers make a big deal about it all (which is well deserved) but I think however you want to start reading Kafka is excellent.

Go for it! And I sincerely hope you enjoy it!
