By the Sea (part 1/?)
A/N: Why am I on a True Blood kick in February of 2024? I have no idea, but please enjoy if you also are. You had no interest in meeting with the new King of Louisiana.
Bill Compton’s new position as King had given you nothing but pause, and part of you recognized his calling upon Eric as a power play.
So you lounged in the back office at Fangtasia, drifting in and out of consciousness. You could hear the faint arguing between Sookie and Pam in the other office, no doubt about relinquishing ownership of Sookie’s house. The same issue, you assumed, that Bill had requested Eric to discuss. You chuckled at the remembrance that it was your idea to buy the decrepit old farmhouse when Sookie went missing, both to keep an eye on the new King and have a safe haven for Eric away from Fangtasia.
Despite never being fully human, sleeping was one of your favorite indulgences. And tonight you were content to let Eric handle Mr. Compton’s silly requests while Pam argued with Sookie in the other room and you remained at ease. The couch in Eric’s office was worn and comfortable, and you settled yourself underneath one of his jackets, propped against the armrest. When Sookie’s annoying voice drifted away, you were left with the dull roar of protestors outside Fangtasia.
Dreams of blue seas and daylight walks with Eric plagued your mind. The warmth of the sun on your skin, and the golden dance of his hair in a Mediterranean breeze flitted by, and you relished in the fuzzy feeling it brought.
But the invigorating daylight suddenly vanished, replaced with a drab gray office and the annoying scream of a cell phone. You quickly realize it was not in fact your cell phone, but the Fangtasia office phone ringing obnoxiously on Eric’s desk. The sound of Pam and her… company through the wall gave you the idea she wasn’t getting to the phone anytime soon, so you yawned and climbed to your feet, having half a mind to let it ring till it quieted.
However, the newest anti-Vampire movement was raging, and everything at Fangtasia now was about saving face and playing nice. You picked up the receiver and tucked it in the crook of your shoulder, putting on your best vampire purr.
“Thank you so very much for calling Fangtasia. How may I be of service?”
“Y/N?”
You grimace, recognizing Sookie’s sing-song twang. “What do you want?”
“Listen, this is no time for your normal attitude-”
A snarl breaks through your lips. “Watch your mouth, brat. I’ll be on that doorstep before you draw in your next breath.”
“Y/N!” Sookie breathes heavily. “It’s Eric. I found him walking down the road on my way back.”
You stiffen. Sookie’s house was less than a mile from Compton’s, and the thought of what happened to Sophie-Ann at his mansion invaded your mind.
“What’d Compton do to him?”
“This wasn’t Bill.” Sookie’s tone was defensive in spite of everything he’d put her through. “I’m not sure who did this. Y/N… he doesn’t remember me. Or, much of anything. He keeps saying your name.”
Your slow-beating heart ticked up a notch. “You’re home?”
“Yeah. I’ll see you soon.”
You call on every power you have, letting your eyes fall closed. Teleportation was more of just extremely fast flying, mostly manageable but just exhausting. Sookie’s front porch materializes in your mind, and shortly after you feel a warm Louisiana breeze on your face. The sound of screaming cicadas followed, ringing your ears to the point of a migraine.
Before you can get a hand on the doorknob, the wooden panel flew open. Six feet and five inches of blonde viking greeted you, big hands palming at your shoulders and arms as he drew you close in an instinctual embrace. Sookie’s scent caught your attention as well, but your face was buried in Eric’s bare chest, too busy reveling in his closeness to care. He hummed against your hair nonsensically, nose nuzzled into the roots.
“Älskling” Darling.
He murmured the Swedish word into your hair, pushing a soft rumble through his chest. You finally found it in you to return the embrace, rubbing what you imagined to be reassuring circles on his torso. His behavior was startling, as public affection was not his favorite. He wasn’t afraid of it, per say, but he was more brutish. Eric was possessive and pushy, grabbing onto you and nuzzling against your body to mark you with his scent before visiting vampires or their nests. Coddling and dotting outside of that was usually reserved for the bedroom and private rooms away from prying eyes.
“Eric?” You take a step back, and your heartstrings tug painfully on one another.
His blue eyes are wide, full of confusion and apprehension The air of calm and power he usually carries is missing, replaced with the naivety of a scared child. You reach a hand up to cup his cheek.
“What happened, my love?” You whisper, ushering him to sit on the porch swing.
As you walk away from the entryway, Sookie’s eyes meet yours. She nods briefly, and steps away before closing the door with a soft ‘click’. Eric reaches for you once he’s settled on the cushions. You allow him to have a hold of your hand, but maintain a bit of space and sit cross-legged facing him.
“I’ve missed you.” He murmurs, even though you saw him less than five hours ago.
The gush and fluttering of human emotions was something you haven’t felt in years. “I know. What’s the last thing you remember?”
“The sea.” Eric takes your hand with both of his. “Where we met. You were so beautiful.”
His words were full of emotion and love, and you hated that your face blanched. When you met, when he could smell and taste the shore of the North Sea as it danced under sunlight, was the last few days of his humanity.
“Do you remember what happened to you tonight?” You implore him to continue, trying not to choke at the sight of his ruffled hair.
Eric’s face fell, far away from the contented glaze he had when speaking about the sea. “I know I am a vampire. You are mine. But I… I don’t-”
“Shhh, Shhh.” You hush him gently. “That’s okay.”
Eric shakes his head, gripping your wrist as if you could take his memories via osmosis. He mutters in Swedish, and you prompt him to speak up. The words he utters tell you of flashes he’d seen, but couldn’t provide any context.
“Det var hon, men det var inte hon.” It was her, then it wasn’t her.
The description is of a face morphing from older to younger, but nothing more.
What the hell had Bill Compton done to him?
Sure, Eric recalled a woman’s face, but there was nothing to say Bill didn’t set him up. You were suddenly pissed at yourself for not accompanying him to the new King’s hold. You hadn’t so much as asked why he was going. Pam was her normal stoic self upon hearing about him being beckoned, but you bet she had asked why.
“Eric?” His eyes are fixed on you, unwavering and diligent.
“Yes, my queen?”
You almost blush at the pet name. “Can you go sit inside with Sookie? I just have to call someone.”
A lopsided grin stretches his face. “Anything for you.”
Eric leans in and meshes his lips with yours, and it’s the sweetest kiss he’s ever laid on you. There’s no possessive undertone, no domineering fangs brushing against your lips. It’s an innocent show of affection, driven by absolute base instinct and a loss of personality.
“I love you.” He murmurs, breath fanning over your lips.
“I know.”
That amnesiatic smile twists his lips again, and he shuffles back into the farmhouse. You dwell for a moment on the odd behavior before withdrawing your cell phone and immediately dialing Fangtasia.
“Good evening, Fangtasia, Northern Louisiana’s most fang-tastic club. What do you want?”
On any other day, you would have laughed at Pam’s greeting. And you tried so hard to be nice.
“Pam it’s me.”
“Are you really callin’ me from the other office? I thought we talked about-”
“Something happened to Eric.” You stop her, “I don’t know what’s wrong.”
The line goes silent, and you half expect her to come rushing onto the porch as you had.
“Elaborate.”
“Sookie called me… She found him wandering down the road on the way home from Fangtasia. He doesn’t remember anything.” You force yourself to keep your voice steady.
“What do you mean, anything?”
You sigh. Nervous Pam is not good for anyone. “The last thing he recalls is the last days he was human…. When we met. He knows what he is but not who.”
Pam’s voice quakes, and you can’t tell if it’s anger or fear. “Bill set him up.”
You raise a brow. “I had an inkling. What did he go there for?”
“Some new coven of fuckin’ witches in Shreveport. Rumored to have been practicin’ necromancy.”
Your blood runs cold. “And Bill sent him in alone?”
“Probably knew it was a trap, too. Wouldn’t be the first time he’s tried to get rid of Eric.” Her hatred of Bill is palpable, even through the shoddy phone connection. “If the AVL finds out, they might sign off on assassinating Eric.”
“Alright.” You scrub a hand down your face. “Thanks Pam. I’m gonna take care of him”
“Y/N… be careful. I don’t trust Sookie.”
Said southern belle is trying to covertly look at you through the window and you turn away.
“You know I will.” A pause. “And Pam?”
“You get all mushy with me and it’s just gonna piss me off.”
You laugh for the first time that night. “Just do me a favor and don’t worry.”
The line disconnects, and you know she’s worrying. From inside the house, Eric smiles at you, dopey face swaying ever so slightly in the window frame. You look at the sky, wishing you didn’t know there was no such thing as God.
“Fuck my life.”

when funkyfrogbait said “how many einsteins have spent their lives washing dishes, how many mozarts bent over stoves instead of pianos because they had the misfortune of being born a woman.”
i might mostly post smut on this account, but i write SO much more than just fanfic, and every word i write is for every woman that came before me that couldn’t write what they wanted. it’s for my mother, my grandmother and my great-grandmother as well as the women that came before.

Every girl, when she stumbles upon that story that wrecks her soul, a perfect blend of heart-shattering angst and mind-fucking twists that she didn't even know she needed in her life. The kind of plot that makes her heart ache, her eyes burn from crying so hard, and every word cuts deeper than the last. The kind of writing that has her clutching her chest, gasping for air, her mind spiraling into a dark abyss where she can't even sleep at night because all she can think about is the characters' pain, the suffocating intensity, and the gut-wrenching love they’ll never get to have.

Eric Northman x Stackhouse!Reader
18+ Word count: 15k+
Triggers: attempted rape, blood, violence
Y/n grit her teeth as she stood next to Sookie in Fangtasia, the blonde in a white and red dress which looked like she was coated in blood whilst Y/n wore a t shirt and jeans hoping to blend into the background as Bill spoke to the blonde viking on a throne. Y/n wasn't quite sure how she had been roped into all this, her sister had always been different, and Y/n was protective as any sister would be.
"So why are we playing live bait right now?" Y/n questioned as she looked around, Sookie shushing her as she tried to read their lips until the viking curled him finger towards them, Y/n wanting to face palm as Bill nodded and encouraged them up.
"Why God why." Y/n mumbled to herself as she followed Sookie, Bill stood stoically next to Sookie as Y/n hung back, her mind trying to think of ways out of the situation but she knew she couldn't do anything against a vampire.
"This is Eric Northman, he's the Sheriff."
"Sookie Stackhouse and Y/n Stackhouse." Y/n looked at the viking as he looked her up and down with a smirk, Y/n keeping her expression blank as she took him in. He was intimidating, anyone who said he wasn't would be a liar or a much more powerful vampire, being human meant he could snap her in half without so much as blinking.
"It's nice to meet you." Sookie's voice was sweet as she held onto Bill's hand, her other taking Y/n's as she read her thoughts.
"Well aren't you sweet." Eric's voice was deep as he looked over Sookie as Y/n interjected.
"Not really, it's just the hospitality in her." Y/n squeezed Sookie's hand as Bill shot her a look, Y/n scowling back at him as Eric stood and looked down at her.
"Miss Stackhouse i understand you have been asking questions to my customers, if you have something to ask you should ask it of me." Although his demand was directed at Sookie he kept his eyes on Y/n as she tried not to look away, reminding herself it was like dealing with an animal.
"Alrighty then." Sookie's voice brought Eric's attention from Y/n as she let out a breath, her eyes now finding the beautiful blonde in a black corset as she leant against Eric's chair, her pointed eyes staring straight into Y/n's soul as she looked away. Eric sat down as Sookie showed him the photos of the girls.
"I am not done with you yet." Eric's voice jumped Y/n out of her trance, having been lost in her thoughts, Sookie's hand now squeezing Y/n's tightly as Eric looked over the both of them.
"Please...sit." His tone seemed playful as he gestured to the chair next to him, Bill nodding at Sookie as she took a seat, Y/n standing next to her sister before the blonde vampire brought another chair and placed it the other side of Eric. Y/n stared at the blonde before looking at Eric, his expression daring her to challenge him as she looked at Sookie before sitting.
"So are you quite attached to your friend?" Eric smirked as Bill quickly growled out that Sookie was his, Y/n could now feel her palms begin to sweat as her need to fight or flight was becoming more and more apparent.
"Yes, i am his." Sookie confirmed, her voice confident before Eric turned his gaze to Y/n, his eyes looking her up and down as he spoke.
"Your judgement has always been clouded Bill, especially when you have such a special human here." Y/n looked back at Sookie in confusion before Eric turned his head back to Bill, the two speaking as Y/n gave Sookie a panicked look and kept darting her eyes to the exit hoping her sister would get the gist.
"You need to leave, there's going to be a police raid." Sookie suddenly spoke, urgency in her voice as she stood and grabbed Y/n's hand, looking to Bill for help as Eric began questioning her. Seconds later Y/n stood outside, the world had moved quickly around her as she stumbled, her trainers planting firmly on the ground as she adjusted to her surroundings and looked for Sookie. Eric took advantage of Y/n's confusion, pushing her against the wall as he leaned over her with a smirk.
"What is that scent Miss Stackhouse? What are you?" Y/n stuttered before Eric was gone, Sookie and Bill now fussed over her as she tried to explain what happened but in truth even she was unsure.
Y/n bent over the table at merlottes, wiping it down before taking the napkins and cutlery out her pocket and placing it down in the assigned seats at the booth, her head turning to the door as it dinged. More customers, looking at the time she sighed, two hours left and she was done for the weekend, she wanted to get home quickly so she could spend some time with her Gran before she went to bed.
"Orders up." Lafayette called out as Y/n welcomed the three men in, seating them at the table she had just cleaned and took their drinks order. Collecting the food she served it to a nearby table and collected the three beers before placing them down.
"Would ya'll like some food?" Her voice was sweet but she could see the men were anything but worthy of such kindness, they were dressed in camouflage and she imagined some poor deer was in the back of their pick up truck after a hunt.
"Three burgers hot stuff, and your number." The leader smirked as the other two laughed, Y/n putting on a fake smile as she took the menus and tucked them under her arm.
"Three burgers, do you want normal or curly fries?" The man leant back so he could stare at her ass, his buddies all laughing as they took a swig from their beer.
"Normal and don't forget that number, you got a sweet ass and i could give you a hell of a ride." Y/n gave them a tight lipped smile and walked away, the men laughing as they talked loudly about her body, taking a deep breath she rang in the order.
"You alright sweetness?" Lafayette spoke, placing a plate of fries in front of Y/n with a side of her favourite sauce which she gave him a thankful smile and dipped a fry into it before eating it.
"Yeah just some jackasses who think they own the world." Lafayette looked behind Y/n to see the men moving their hands about sexually as they looked over at Y/n making him scowl as he looked back at his friend.
"You want me to deal with them?" Y/n shook her head as she ate another fry and got back her composure.
"Maybe just spit in their food for me." Y/n gave him a cheeky grin as she walked away, Lafayette laughing as she walked behind the bar and grabbed three more beers. She could see them tipping their current ones up and she didn't want anymore lewd comments so she quickly dropped the next round off and walked away.
"Y/n." Sam called out as he poked his head out his office, Y/n looking up as he waved her in with a small smile, following him she grabbed her fries and sauce before sitting cross legged on his sofa and continuing to eat her snack.
"You alright kiddo?" Y/n nodded with a smile as she reached over to where Sam had an open beer, drinking it as she enjoyed her fries, Sam smiling softly at her as he looked over the schedule.
"You don't want extra hours do ya? Cos Arlene's had to drop two shifts cos the kids need picking up." Y/n put out her hand and opened and closed her hand, Sam laughing as he handed it to her and she totted up the hours and extra pay before nodding and handing it back.
"You got it boss, but you owe me alright? I expect to be bribed with a bottle of your finest vodka." Sam laughed as he agreed shaking her hand, promising to give it to her next time she was in. Grinning Y/n stood, putting her empty take out box in the bin and wiping her hands on her apron, checking the time as she saw she only had 30 minutes left.
"Foods up." Y/n grabbed the three burgers as she balanced them on her arms and walked towards the now tipsy men, placing the burgers down with a smile.
"Any sauces?" Y/n should have know what was to come as the men laughed and leaned closer.
"I can give you some sauce sweetcheeks, bend over and i'll cover ya." Y/n's eye twitched before she let out an overly exaggerated laugh making the men move back as she almost doubled over in false laughter.
"Wow! That is just so funny! You should share that with everyone here because wow, comedians." Y/n then deadpanned and placed the bill down, walking towards the bar as she began serving the regular patrons with a normal smile.
"Fuckin bitch." One of them mumbled before they slammed down $40 and left, the money barely covering their tab as Y/n waved with a sickly sweet smile.
Y/n waved bye to Sam as she left her shift, walking into the carpark towards her car before a pickup truck almost hit her, the truck stopping infront of her as she fell back with a cry. The three men jumped out the truck as with grins, Y/n's eyes full of panic as she got up and tried to run but they were quicker, grabbing her ponytail and yanking her back as she fell to the ground in front of them.
"Gonna teach you a lesson you fuckin bitch." The same man from before spoke in her ear before he slammed his foot into her back, forcing her face down into the dirt as she began trying to fight, hot tears running down her face as she tried to scramble away.
"Get off me!" Y/n screamed, managing to turn on her back and dig her nails into the leaders face, feeling his skin under her nails as she listened to him curse out before he smacked her in the face. Looking at her hand she saw the blood, a surge of pride going through her before she felt her arms be pinned down, the leader now stood in front of her as he began unbuckling his trousers.
"You fuckin' whore, i'm gonna make you regret that." Y/n kicked out her legs, but the men holding her top half down were strong and three against one was never a fair fight. As she felt his hands touch her shorts she screamed, two small bolts of light coming out her hands and forcing the two men off. The leader's eyes widened as he fell back, his friends now halfway across the carpark and unconscious as the door to Merlotte's opened and Lafayette ran out with a meat cleaver.
"You get away from her!" The leader bolted up, Lafayette swinging at him before he managed to get into his truck, Sam writing down the license as Lafayette helped Y/n up. Her hair covered in dirt as she hugged Lafayette still panicked and afraid.
"I'm calling Sook." Y/n nodded as Lafayette helped her inside, he left for a moment before coming back with a dark red drink and telling her to down it. Y/n agreed and coughed as she drank the strong concoction but it made her feel better knowing Lafayette and Sam were there.
"You alright sugar?" Lafayette sat across from her as he leant over and pushed her hair out her face, picking out a few pieces of dirt as Y/n gave him a small smile.
"I'm okay, just shaken up, i'm just thankful you came out when you did." Lafayette nodded, he'd been out the back having a smoke when he'd heard a scream.
A few minutes later and Sookie was there, she looked shaken up as she ran in, her eyes darting around before she found Y/n and the pair and ran to each other. Sookie hugged Y/n close as she ran through her thoughts and almost cried as she saw the events unfold, Y/n clutched Sookie as she felt her riffling around in her mind.
"Well isn't this touching." Eric's voice made Sookie and Y/n split as Bill and Eric stood in the doorway, Sookie looked towards Sam as he scowled at the two vampires. Lafayette was quick to disappear into the back hoping to remain unseen.
"Are you alright Miss Y/n?" Bill spoke, Y/n nodding slowly as she kept her eyes on Eric, a confused look on her face as he looked around merlottes in disgust at the back swamp bar compared to Fangtasia.
"I'm okay just...yeah." Y/n didn't know what else to say as Eric turned his attention to her and looked her all over, he acted as though with one look he could pick her apart and see into her soul like Pam had.
"We're taking you home." Y/n looked back at Sookie with a smile as her sister grasped her hand and pulled her towards Bill.
"So why was Eric there?" Y/n asked as she bit into a burger, wiping her mouth as Sookie sighed and sat up on the sun lounger.
"I told you already, he came to ask, well more demand, for me to help him find out who's been stealing money. We were gonna leave when Sam called and i refused to leave. He was surprisingly okay with delaying. He's so creepy." Sookie shivered as she laid back down, Y/n nodding as she finished her burger, wiping her hand together before laying back on her sun lounger.
"Is Gran excited for tonight?" Sookie sat up with a beaming smile as she began explaining how Gran and the other people in her club were excited to meet Bill and be able to ask him questions.
"She's so cute, does she have her notebook ready?" Y/n grinned as Sookie nodded and went on and on about how Bill was excited aswell to be able to share his experience and have a positive relationship with other humans in Bon Temp.
Y/n yawned and stretched before rubbing her eyes, she'd had a nap during the day to get ready for tonight, her Gran was ecstatic as Y/n came down the stairs.
"Oh Y/n, it's almost time to go!" Y/n grinned as she took her Gran's arm and the pair began their way to the event. Her Gran talked her ear off the whole walk, showing her the questions on her notebook.
Y/n waved goodbye to each of the members as they excited the church, her Gran walking back with a few of the members as she encouraged Y/n to stay.
"That was a good night." Y/n spoke as she walked towards Sookie and Bill, the pair chatting happily as Y/n sat beside them.
"It was indeed Miss Y/n, i'm glad your Grandmother enjoyed it." Y/n smiled as she recalled how happy her Gran had been.
"Anyway i'm going to walk home." Y/n stood, slapping her knees as she looked at the love sick pair, Bill smiling at Sookie as he pushed some of her hair back.
"I'm assuming you'll be home later?" Sookie nodded before hugging Y/n.
"We'll walk you home incase that murderer is out there."
Y/n screamed out as she saw her Gran, Sookie fell next to her as she pushed her Gran onto her back and begged her to wake up. Y/n fell to her knees and her hands shook as she stared at the blood covering her hands, her Gran's blood, Sookie now had her head against her Gran's chest as she cried. Bill stood by the door, his hand over his mouth as he inhaled the blood, his eyes darting around as he tried to find any scent of the murderer, rushing around the property but there was no sign of anyone.
Y/n stood in the kitchen, her black dress smoothed under hands as she anxiously pushed it down once more, her eyes on the multitude of people who walked in and out of the house. Sookie was upstairs splashing her face after her outburst at the funeral, Y/n's couldn't blame her, if she could hear everyone's thoughts she'd have been locked in a looney bin years ago.
Everything was finally over and Y/n sat at the table staring at her Gran's pie, she had screamed at Maxine for touching it and now she was sat with a fork in her hand and tears in her eyes as she took a bite. Sobbing as she chewed, Sookie came down the stairs and looked at Y/n for minute before joining her, the pair sobbing as they ate the last remaining memory of their Gran and took solace in each others grief. After they'd finished the pie Y/n took herself upto bed, exhausted from the last few days and honestly done with humans, vampires or whatever else was out there, she wanted her Gran. She heard Sookie leave, but she couldn't seem to care as she curled up into her duvet and cried herself to sleep.
Eric grinned as he watched Y/n and Sookie enter, the latter in a white dress and looking pissed as she looked at Eric whilst Y/n wore black jeans and hoodie, her eyes hidden by dark circles. Y/n sat on the bar as she grabbed a bottle of vodka and a glass, pouring herself large shots and downing them as Sookie interviewed each human and declared them innocent. Y/n felt the air shift beside her as Eric appeared, his body too close for her liking as she sneered at him and shuffled further away.
"Don't be so shy Y/n, not when you're drinking from my bar for free." He flashed her a fang-filled grin as she gave him a fake smile back and downed another shot, she wondered what it was like to have no fear like Eric. Sure Bill was powerful but he still cowered and bent under Eric's will, it was an odd thing to see, since Bill held himself at a higher calliper than Eric yet couldn't beat him.
"They're innocent." Y/n called out as Sookie nodded to Bill, taking the attention off herself and back to the waitress who sat across from Sookie. Y/n decided she had drank enough for a good buzz, placing the vodka back as she held the glass in her hand and twirled it as she watched Ginger be sat down. The poor woman looked like she'd been dragged through a bush too many times in her life and had ended up here, Sookie began pouring through her mind until she scowled. Y/n hopping off the bar and standing behind Sookie as she tilted her head and stared at Ginger, a lightbulb basically appearing above Y/n's head as she looked at Sookie.
"She's been glamoured." Y/n felt proud of herself as Sookie explained Ginger knew how took it but there was a block, one only a vampire could create. Before anyone could react Longshadow rushed towards Sookie, shoving her backwards and onto a table as Y/n went flying backwards into the chairs. Her head knocking harshly the wood as she tried to stand but a sudden rush of water forced her back down as chunks of vampire and gallons of blood spurted across the room, coating Sookie head to toe as she screamed out. Bill stood over her, a stake in his hand as Eric looked unimpressed nodding to Pam who grabbed Sookie and Y/n taking them to the bathroom. Y/n luckily was able to wash off the blood, removing her hoodie which covered a tank top which had stayed dry. However Sookie was not so lucky and all Pam had to offer was a leather get up which made Y/n giggle at Sookie's expression.
"Sorry." Y/n mumbled as Sookie glared at her, Y/n wiping off the remains of Longshadow out her shoes as she sighed and looked in the mirror. She couldn't deny she looked like shit, she guessed Grief did that to a person and yet Sookie looked radiant in grief, maybe it was to do with her relationship with Bill. Maybe Y/n needed to get back on the horse and try to find something other than work and her fucked up home life to take up her time. Y/n rubbed her face and called out Sookie letting her know she was going to get another drink, Sookie asked for a beer and Y/n laughed and left the bathroom. Entering the bar she cringed as she watched Ginger gag as she cleaned up Longshadow, her little outfit covered in blood aswell as her knees and hands whilst Pam and Eric watched.
"Ahh Y/n, such a shame you didn't need a new outfit." Y/n gave Eric a mocking smile and walked towards the bar as she looked through the stock, feeling the air change as it had earlier, Eric leaning over her as he inhaled loudly.
"Could you be any creepier?" Y/n asked as she poured herself a rum and coke, grabbing out a beer as she went to walk around Eric but he gripped her arm and brought her towards him.
"You are you bleeding, let me fix that for you." Y/n went to object as she felt the throb in her forehead, Eric running his finger over her cut and collecting the blood, placing it in his mouth with a smirk before biting his finger and placing his blood over the cut. Y/n felt it heal instantly, her eyes widening as she watched his lick her blood off his finger again, her hands shaking slightly as she held the drinks tightly and coughed moving away.
"Thanks." Y/n mumbled out, side stepping Eric as Bill walked out with Sookie, her sister moving close to her as Y/n handed her the beer and the two stood watching the tension between the vampires.
"You have 24 hours to think about my offer Bill." Eric's voice seemed more powerful as he looked at Bill with menace, the latter nodding before the three took their leave, Y/n giving Bill a confused look but he ignored her.
"Want to divulge what that last bit was about William?" Y/n pressed as Bill drove, her hands on Sookie's seat as she pulled herself half into the front to irritate Bill, the vampire looking at her then Sookie before talking.
"I killed a vampire tonight, it is against our laws and Eric has said he will hand me over to the magistrate unless i give him Y/n in exchange for his silence. I refused so he has given me the day to think about what is more important." Y/n's jaw dropped as she looked back at Sookie, her sister wearing the same expression as they both looked at Bill, Y/n dropping back in her seat and crossing her arms with a pout.
"Like hell am i being given to that viking prick, who does he think he is? Demanding you give me over huh!" Y/n seethed in her seat, recalling how Eric had technically drunk her blood and healed her cut but all she wanted was to wring his neck. Bill began explaining how serious it was but that he would never do that to Sookie as he loved her, Sookie smiled as she took Bill's hand and thanked him. Y/n looked out the window with a sigh as she watched Fangtasia get further away.
Y/n stood behind the bar at Merlottes, popping open a beer as she smiled and handed it to the customer, a crisp $5 placed in her hand with a wink, Y/n smiling back before rolling her eyes at the $2 tip this guy thought was flirting. The doors opened as Y/n moved round the bar and greeted the customers, her hand pushing the money inside to deal with later as she raised her head and stared in confusion at Bill, Pam and Eric walking through the door.
"Oh hi." Y/n didn't quite know what to do, looking around as Sookie came towards Bill, Eric and Pam laughing at the dingy bar whilst Y/n stared at them confused. Bill spoke in a hushed voice to Sookie before walking to the back office as Sookie grabbed drinks and served the customers she had been with before they entered.
"Do you guys want a table?" Eric's eyes snapped to Y/n as he grinned and moved closer until her chest touched his, his body looming over her as Pam began handing out Fangtasia vouchers.
"We're only here so Bill can tell Sookie he'll be gone for a while, but i thought i'd come to see you." Y/n raised an eyebrow in confusion and looked around seeing Rene, Hoyt and some of Jason's other coworkers staring at her as she stepped back and looked at Eric.
"You should come to Fangtasia and see me again Miss Stackhouse." Y/n gave him an odd look before moving around him and taking orders, Bill now exiting the office as Sam followed behind and watched him speak to Sookie before Eric hurried him along.
"We know when someone has wronged one of our kind, we can smell it. Be warned." Eric looked around the bar before winking at Y/n and leaving with Pam and Bill in tow leaving the majority of customers confused whilst others shared panicked looks. Y/n smiled at the sweet lady she was serving, the older lady handing her a rolled up bill before leaving. Y/n opened the tip but rolled her eyes, the sun church or whatever the God botherers were calling it now on a false dollar bill, that lady must think she's dancing with the devil or something. Y/n turned to see Sookie being hugged by Tara before she asked Amy to cover her shift and removed her apron, Y/n walking towards her as Sookie gave her sister a hug.
"I need some time alone, i'm going to stay at Bill's to be safe." Y/n nodded and checked her phone, an unknown number having sent her a message.
"If you need company call me." Y/n scowled and deleted the number, someone must have sent her number to a scam site as she placed it back in her pocket and stretched her arms feeling her back crack.
"Alright, i'm gonna pour some more beers lets get back to it." Y/n grabbed a large jug of beer and walked towards Rene and Hoyt, smiling as Rene pulled her into a hug, allowing her to pour beers as he spoke to her.
"You alright little darlin' you not caught up in all that are ya?" Y/n shook her head, her ponytail moving side to side giving Rene a good view of her clear neck as he gave her a kiss on the head.
"Good, good, can't have our best mates lil' sis in trouble." Y/n laughed as he let her go, Hoyt handing her a $10 bill and telling her to get herself a drink even though she got them on the house she thanked him. She was glad Jason had such good friends even if he was a dick sometimes, especially at the moment but even Amy seemed good for him.
Y/n walked around Rene and Arlene's engagement party, a smile on her face as she watched Jason and his friends hug and drink beers whilst Amy chatted away to Sookie and Arlene. Her phone made a noise as she opened it up, another text from the unknown number.
"Miss me yet?" Y/n scowled and deleted it, this time blocking the number as she shoved her phone into her bag on a nearby chair and walked away, smiling at Hoyt came up to her.
"Hi Y/n, do ya, do ya want a drink or anything?" Jason's best friend blushing as he asked, Y/n grinning.
"You're such a gentleman, I'd love a cocktail thank you." Hoyt nodded and put out his arm, Y/n taking it as she walked beside him to the drinks table, smiling as his hands slightly shook whilst pouring the drink. Y/n took it from him and placed a small kiss on his cheek, his face going red as he laughed it off and rubbed the back of his neck trying not to be obvious but failing. The moment cut short as a scream ripped through the building of Merlottes, Sookie running out and into Sam's arms as she cried out.
"He's here!" Sam's eyes widened as he passed Sookie to Tara who had sobered up enough to hold her as Sam, Andy, Jason and a few others rushed inside and began searching, Hoyt ran over with Y/n towards Sookie.
"Alright this is fuckin it, lets go buy some guns and be ready for this asshole." Y/n stormed through the house, Sam and Sookie behind her as she grabbed the shotgun and found the rounds nearby, loading it up and hiding it behind the sofa before grabbing her tip jar and emptying all the money out.
"Y/n we can't shoot someone we can't see! You need to listen to me, i saw everything in his mind, i need to think." Y/n ignored Sookie as she walked off, Sam looking between them before following Sookie to help her figure it out. Y/n shoved the cash into her bag finding her phone ringing, scowling she answered it without thinking.
"What!" Y/n heard silence before a deep laugh, a laugh she remembered too easily as Eric laughed out her name.
"Well Hello to you too." Y/n rolled her eyes and began walking out the house, slamming the door behind her and getting in the car as Eric spoke.
"I just wanted to check in on you as i felt how angry you were, aswell as some fear." Y/n put him on speaker as she drove towards the nearest place she could find with guns.
"How in the hell did you feel that?" Y/n turned the corner, as she tried to think of how that would even work before she slammed on her breaks as a man stood in the road. Screaming she tried to lock the doors as the man approached and opened the door, Y/n trying to exit before the man spoke.
"I tasted your blood so i know exactly what you feel and where you are." Y/n stopped screaming and looked at him in shock as he reached over and took the keys out the ignition, walking round and opening the driver door with a pointed look.
"I'll drive." Y/n nodded, fear coursing through her veins as she sat in the passenger seat whilst Eric began driving.
"I...i'm going to a local gun shop but they don't allow vamps." Y/n's voice was quiet as she picked at her nails, unsure how Eric would react to discrimination of his kind.
"And why do you need a gun?" Eric looked at Y/n as she scoffed and turned in her chair to face him.
"A woman can't just want to protect herself?" Eric grinned as he continued the drive towards the gun shop, turning left into the carpark.
"You can do whatever you want but i just want to know why." Y/n rolled her eyes and opened the car door, Eric moving quickly to pull it fully open and extend his hand which she took with a huff as he pulled her out and against him.
"There's a murderer in Bon Temp, he killed my Gran and tried to kill Sookie. I'm going to shoot him in his goddamn head." Eric grinned widely as Y/n walked past him and into the shop, his tall body leaning against the car as he watched her place down all her money and ask for whatever guns would be easy to hide and easy to use. He laughed as she came out, a pistol in her bag and another in a box with two boxes of ammo under her arms, smiling at Eric as he opened the door and took the gun and bullets from her to place them safely down.
"That was surprisingly easy." Y/n said as she climbed in, Eric beside her as he put the car in reverse, watching her closely as she pulled out the gun and stared at it.
"Have you ever shot one before?" Y/n shook her head, her Gran had always said it was the last form of protection never the first but now she wished she had been taught a few tricks.
"I'll teach you." Y/n grinned as Eric continued driving.
Eric parked outside the Stackhouse residence, Y/n getting out as Eric quickly surveyed the area before letting Y/n know it was safe, Y/n shrugged as she grabbed her new guns and ammo.
"Sook!" Y/n shouted as she entered finding Sookie and Sam sat on the sofa, Y/n almost positive she had interrupted something as Sookie jumped away from Sam. Eric stood by the doorway, Y/n giving him a weird look before telling Sookie to come look at the guns, Sookie following her sister as Sam glared at Eric.
"This is for you, i want you to keep it in your bag Sook, you gotta promise okay? If that fucker tries again you blow his brains out." Y/n was dead serious as she handed the gun to Sookie and pulled her outside, Sookie glaring at Eric as she leant against the wooden pillars with a smirk.
"What are you doing here?" Sookie snarked, Y/n brushing her sister's attitude off as she continued to pull her sister out the safety of the house.
"He's teaching us how to shoot." Sookie raised her eyebrows and looked at Sam who appeared slightly offended a vampire was the first choice over him but Eric was quick to speak.
"I've set up some targets." Y/n listened intently as Eric showed them how to hold the gun, Sam helping Sookie after she shrugged off Eric's help, Y/n instead insisting on knowing exactly how to take apart and put together every aspect for safety. Eric smirked as he stood behind Y/n, her sweet scent filling his nose as he placed a cool hand on her arm, making her aim better before he whispered for her to breathe in, and to shoot. Y/n squealed at the loud noise watching the bullet fly past the tin can as she huffed and watched Sookie try, both of them having similar aim as Y/n cocked the gun and aimed once more.
"Think about someone you want to hurt, pretend the can is them, now breathe in and shoot." Y/n listened closely, closing her eyes and reopening them as she pulled the trigger, the recoil hurting her arm slightly as the watched the bullet hit the tin can. Y/n jumped as she cheered, Eric quickly pushing the gun away from the humans as Y/n awkwardly smiled and put the safety on.
"Good, but you know the best way to be protected?" Y/n looked at Eric intrigued as he bent down, his mouth hovering over her ear as he heard Sookie let out another shot.
"You and I share blood and you invite me in. I'll throw in hot primal sex to sweeten the deal." Y/n sucked in a breath, her eyes dilating as she felt her mouth go dry before she smacked his chest.
"You are in sufferable." Y/n turned back to the target, unclipping the safety and concentrating as she shot another tin can, a smug look on her face as she looked at Eric.
"I just shot you in the face." Eric smirking down at her before he turned his head quickly, grabbing Y/n as he rushed her to the doorway, pushing her inside before doing the same to Sookie, Sam rushing inside as Eric demanded they lock the door. Rushing around the property he stopped as he saw Bill, his face full of anger as he stared at where Sookie and Sam had been standing, his eyes darting to Eric's as the blonde glared at him.
"You are not needed." Bill's voice was deep as he stepped closer to Eric, aware that he was threatening his Sheriff but his jealousy was pushing him closer to the edge whilst Eric grinned menacingly at Bill.
"Is someone jealous?" Bill glared at Eric before rushing away, Eric looking around once more before returning, knocking on the door before Y/n answered it. Gun in hand and facing Eric's face before she sighed and swung the door fully open, Eric looked at her as she put the safety on and placed the gun on a nearby table before crossing her arms and leaning against the threshold that stopped him from entering.
"All good?" Eric nodded as he leant as close to Y/n as he could, his body overbearing as he took up the whole door frame with a seductive smile.
"Changed your mind?" Y/n scoffed and rolled her eyes, grasping the door frame and speaking once more before slamming it in his face.
"Men." Eric grinned to himself before flying towards Y/n's bedroom, watching from afar as she flopped onto the bed and rolled onto her back.
"I just want one normal day." Y/n mumbled to herself before closing her curtains and walking towards the shower.
Y/n slammed her car door as she walked towards Merlotte's, she was beyond pissed at her brother for taking the fall for the murders, even angrier at Sookie for demanding both of them go to work as normal instead of trying to get Jason out. Entering the bar she put on a fake smile and grabbed her apron, serving a few people before Sam pulled her to the side, his eyes on Sookie as they both looked at her, it was obvious she was struggling. Y/n sighed and walked towards her sister, pulling her out the door and towards the car, Sookie not saying anything as Y/n put her in the passenger seat and tried to start the car. Y/n almost let out a scream as the car wouldn't start, her hand slamming against the steering wheel as she popped the hood and got out, ready to check it out when Rene came out of nowhere.
"You girls alright?" Y/n shook her head as she looked back at Sookie, explaining everything to Rene and saying she just wanted to get her sister home and to bed. Rene gave a small smile and offered to look, Y/n tried to help but Rene encouraged her to try the engine again.
"I'm sorry Y/n but this is gonna need some professional work, i can take you guys home though?" Y/n sighed as she debated going back inside and taking Sam's keys to the trailer but she wanted her own bed, taking Rene up on his offer Y/n took Sookie's hand and the pair got into his truck.
The three pulled up at the Stackhouse residence, the sun beating down on them as Y/n unlocked the door, offering Rene a beer as she noticed Sookie staring at him oddly. Rene accepted quickly and followed Y/n, his eyes darting around as he spotted the shotgun behind the sofa, excusing himself to the toilet as Sookie took the opportunity to whisper to Y/n.
"Y/n, i don't trust him. His thoughts don't have an accent." Y/n went to question her further when Rene came back, a gentle smile on his face as Y/n handed him the beer and thanked him for bringing them home.
"Sook, why don't you head up to bed." Sookie listened to Y/n's thoughts, images of the gun on the nightstand flashing in her mind as Y/n asked Rene if he wanted anything to eat. Sookie disappeared upstairs as Y/n moved towards her bag, her hand reaching inside as Rene seemed to change, his accent dropping as he spoke.
"You just couldn't have stayed out of it could ya? Couldn't have been a good girl, had to go around fuckin them vamps." Y/n spun, gun raised as Rene attacked her, his hand gripping her wrist as she cried out, shots hitting the wall as he pushed her hand away from him. Rene getting the upper hand as he slapped her across the face, the power behind his hand twisting her body as the gun fell from her grip and her body slammed into the wall. His hand knotted in her hair as he yanked her back, one hand wrestling with his belt as he tried to get it around her neck, her nails digging deep into his arms as she screamed out. His hand came to grasp her shoulder as he pulled her into him, belt barely in his grasp as he tried to wrap it around her neck.
"Get off her!" Sookie screamed, letting out three shots, shattering the glasses near Rene as he dropped Y/n and ducked, Sookie heaving as she went to reload her gun, not having done so from the shooting practice as Rene ran at her. Y/n scraped her nails against the ground as she held her head feeling scratch marks deep enough to bleed as she turned her head to see Rene yanking Sookie to the ground. Y/n searched for the gun before she heard the door open, Sookie running out as Rene chased after her, Y/n grabbed the gun and stumbled up rushing to follow her sister.
"Get back here you fucking whore." Rene shouted as he chased Sookie, his foot tripping up as he fell down and cursed, turning to see Y/n running towards him.
"Fuck." Rene shouted as he hid behind a tree, watching as Y/n ran past trying to find her sister, allowing him to slowly approach. Sookie turned suddenly seeing Y/n, the pair running into each other as Y/n checked her over, Sookie holding Y/n's face before she screamed and pushed Y/n out the way. Rene slammed the wooden handle of the shovel into Sookie's side, knocking her onto her side as she wheezed out, Y/n crawling backwards as Rene kicked Sookie once more and approached Y/n with a murderous smile.
"Now be a good girl and die!" Y/n fumbled her hand until she felt the gun, pointing it at Rene and shooting him in the leg, screaming out in pain as he dropped the shovel and fell to his knees. Y/n stood up, her eyes dark as swung her leg back and kicked him harshly in the face, watching as blood spurt out his mouth.
"You killed my Gran!" Y/n screamed as she continued kicking him, Sookie rushing over and pulling Y/n back as Rene wheezed out, blood covering him face and hands as he rolled into a ball.
"Y/n! Stop!" Y/n heaved as she looked between Rene and Sookie, giving her a tight hug, the pair checking each other over before a hand grasped her leg and Y/n let out another shot this time into Rene's head as both girls jumped back. Rene stopped moving as blood seeped into the grass and Y/n looked at Sookie with wide eyes, the pair both flooding with relief as tears fell down their faces.
Y/n laid on the sofa, an ice pack on her head as Sookie sat against on the floor with another on her side, the pair barely moving as Jason rushed in. His eyes pooling with tears as he apologised for how he had been acting, giving them both half hugs as he looked them over, guilt eating him up at not being there when it had happened. Y/n and Sookie reassured him it was okay, the three sharing a beer each before Jason was shooed away before sundown.
"I'm going to get in bed." Sookie nodded to Y/n as she watched her walk up the stairs, Sookie had already decided she was going to force Bill to see her but as soon as the sun faded he was there, the pair embracing as Bill questioned Sookie on everything.
Y/n laid in her bed, everything ached and she wished she could shut her brain off but instead she kept seeing Rene's face as she shot him, shaking her head she shakily stood, stripping slowly as she tried to stop her body hurting. As she buttoned up her pyjama top, a thin cotton gingham printed cami and short set covered her as she ran a brush through her hair trying to get all the dirt and blood out of it, she wasn't allowed to wash for 24 hours until the cuts had scabbed. She jumped as something hit her window, her hands shaking as she threw open the curtains finding Eric hovering by her window, her eyes widening as she opened the window and stared at him in confusion.
"I should have been sooner. Are you okay?" Y/n gulped and nodded as Eric got as close as he could.
"Invite me in." Y/n looked back at her bedroom door before chewing on her lip and nodding.
"Please come in Eric." Before she could process it she was sat on the bed, Eric crouched between her legs as he looked her over, taking in the scratches covering her lower legs. His eyes moving up to the bruising covering her thighs and arms and finally resting on where she had a hand mark on her shoulder, he could smell the blood in her hair as she stared at him.
"Drink." Before Y/n could say anything he had bit his wrist and pressed it against the mouth, Y/n squealed slightly before Eric grasped the back of her head, tilting it back as he watched his blood drip into her mouth. Y/n closed her eyes as she almost moaned at the feeling of his blood entering her system, it was euphoric although horrifying that she was being forced to drink his blood and yet as he pulled his wrist back she chased the wound before he swiped his thumb over her lip and watched as each cut and scrape healed. Y/n stared at her legs before running her hand through her head feeling the scratches heal leaving behind unmarked skin as she stood quickly, Eric standing in front of her as she looked at her body.
"What?" Y/n whispered before Eric grasped her chin, looking over her face before smirking and slightly pushing her back so she fell onto the bed allowing him to rest over her.
"Can't have what's mine walking around like that." Y/n scowled before she went to push Eric off but he was by the window, winking at Y/n as he climbed out and left, Y/n cursing him.
"I'm not yours!" Y/n huffed as she curled up in bed, her mind exhausted from the day as she passed out.
Y/n tossed and turned in bed, the duvet scrunched up around her middle as she turned onto her back, her hands fisting her hair before she felt cool hands on her ankles. Sitting up she stared at Eric, a smirk on his face as his hands pushed further along her legs, his broad hands pushing against the muscles as he grasped her thighs and pulled her towards him. He spoke in a language Y/n couldn't understand but the way he looked down at her made her weak in the knees, his hand gripped the duvet and threw it across the room. His eyes dropping to her pyjamas as his hand slowly unbuttoned her top, Y/n whining as she closed her eyes, she could feel his body pressing against her as cool fingers unleashed her chest. His lips connecting to her sternum as he pushed open the top, listening to her whines as he dragged his open legs against her chest and grasped a nipple in his mouth. Y/n gasped loudly as her eyes opened to watch him, his other hand grasping at her thigh as he ground into her, her legs wrapping around his middle as she panted out his name and grasped his hair. Eric looked up at Y/n as he ran his tongue over her nipple and crawled down her body, his hands ripping her shorts in half as she whimpered.
"Beautiful." Eric's voice was deep as he spoke, more words coming out in the same language as before as his eyes dropped to between her legs, his hands grasping her thighs and pulling them apart. His eyes moving back to Y/n's as his fangs popped down, Y/n clutching his hair tighter as she watched him descend on her artery. Pornographic moans escaping her as she felt his fangs break the skin, deep heat spreading through her veins and to her clit as he sucked her blood, her head falling back as she moaned his name.
Y/n suddenly jolted in bed, her hands coming to grab her face before she looked at the bed, the duvet half covered her sweaty body as she tried to piece together what had happened. Y/n grabbed a pillow and screamed into it before throwing it across the room and heading downstairs for a glass of water.
Y/n's eyes ached as she entered Fangtasia, the club empty apart from Eric, Bill, Pam and Sookie.
"I don't owe you anything." Sookie scowled as she fought with Eric, her eyes darting to Y/n as she yawned and rubbed her eyes, she had been woken up by Sookie and Bill to be here.
"You look exhausted, bad dreams?" Eric teased, his fang filled smile making Y/n's mind recall her previous night's dream as she glared at him.
"You are a problem." Y/n pointed at Eric before Sookie moved to pull her sister out.
"I'm not doing it." Y/n spun around as Sookie began walking towards the exit only to feel her other arm be held as she looked at Eric pulling her back.
"It wasn't a request, a very powerful vampire has gone missing and I believe it is the fellowship of the sun, they despise vampires and if they did indeed take him then they could take out all of us." Y/n looked back at Sookie as she glared at Eric before Bill spoke.
"If she does this, you pay her, you can't keep using her because she's associated with me." Eric rolled his eyes as Sookie let go of Y/n and crossed her arms, his hand still on Y/n's arm as she looked at him confused.
"What do you want?" Sookie grinned as she demanded $10,000 enough that she could do some well deserved renovation on their house and have a good rainy day fund.
"I want $5000 for having to deal with you." Y/n quipped as Eric grinned and pulled her closer, pushing her hair off her shoulder to look at her neck.
"Do i get a bite for that price?" Y/n rolled her eyes and put her hair back over her neck before Eric looked up and agreed to Sookie's demands.
"$15,000 but I don't want any complaints." Sookie looked at Bill who nodded, Y/n raised an eyebrow and stepped out of Eric's hold to turn to Sookie.
"When do we leave?"
Y/n sighed as the driver loaded her suitcase into the limo, because of course Eric would send a limo instead of a normal taxi, throwing her backpack inside as she climbed in. Inside Eric, Pam and Bill sat, Sookie climbing in the other side as the doors closed.
"Really? A limo? You have too much money and not enough hobbies." Eric grinned as he sipped on a glass of blood, Bill nursing true blood whilst Pam applied her lipstick. Sookie cuddled into Bill's arm whilst Y/n grabbed the champagne and grinned as she opened the window and popped the cork, watching it disappear into the woods before pouring herself a glass.
"I thought you didn't like the limo." Eric teased as he leant back in his seat, leg crossed over his thigh as he looked at Y/n.
"If i'm being put in this position then I am going to abuse it." Y/n drank slowly with a smirk before looking at Sookie as she asked what the plan was.
Y/n walked off the aeroplane, a limo waiting for them as Sookie looked at the time, only 15 minutes until sundown as Y/n approached the driver holding their last name on a big piece of card.
"Good evening Miss Stackhouse, let me take your bag." Y/n smiled at the driver as he grabbed her backpack, all the suitcases already loaded whilst the workers unloaded Bill, Pam and Eric.
“We should wait until Bill is awake.” Sookie spoke as she watched the driver begin to panic, his thoughts becoming louder as she stared at him, his hand reaching out and gripping Y/n as he tried to drag her towards the limo. Sookie shouted out for help as she grabbed her sister's arms and tried to stop the driver as he cursed out and looked at the sky.
“Get in the damn car you whores.” Y/n yanked her arm back and pushed him away as she and Sookie put distance between themselves and the man as the sun went down. The man panicked trying to get into the limo before he was grabbed, the sound of wood hitting the ground alerting Y/n and Sookie to the sun going down, the man was grabbed harshly by Bill as Eric put himself between Y/n and the limo with fangs out. Bill threw the man against the limo as Eric looked at Y/n, he knew his blood was wearing off in her body and if he wanted to protect her then she would need more.
“Good timing.” Y/n chirped as she walked towards the driver, his body pressed harshly against the limo as Sookie read his thoughts and Bill glamoured him, the pair working well together whilst Pam walked over.
“Did i miss all the fun?” Eric grinned as his protege as Bill dropped the man leaving Eric and Pam to drain him whilst Bill escorted the Stackhouse sisters into the limo and got in the drivers seat.
Y/n stood in front of the large hotel room, her jaw dropped as she flung her backpack on the bed and jumped onto the plush mattress, rolling over with a laugh before closing her eyes and sighing. The hotel room was the size of their living room, let alone the fact there was an ensuite and a large sofa with a tv aswell. Y/n wiggled on the bed before getting up and rushing to see the bathroom, giggling like a child as she saw the massive tub, she loved to relax in a bath and hoped she could get some salts and oils to enjoy with it.
“I see you like our room.” Eric grinned as he leant against the bathroom door, Y/n jumping out her skin as she turned and looked at Eric, her face turning into a scowl.
“What do you mean our?” Eric’s grin turned into a full smirk as he brandished his own key, Y/n crossing her arms with a huff as she pushed past him and grabbed her backpack.
“Fine then, you enjoy this room and i’ll stay with Sook.” Eric appeared before her, his smirk still playing on his face as he shook it.
“I wouldn’t disturb them, Bill could barely wait until they reached the room.” Y/n cringed as she got the mental image of her sister and Bill out her head and turned towards the bed pouting.
“You can sleep on the sofa then, since you’re a vamp you’ll be fine.” Eric used his super speed to press Y/n against the bed, his knee between her legs as she felt dizzy from the sudden movement and her eyes took a second to focus on Eric before she slapped his chest and scowled once more.
“I promise to be a gentleman, but we need to share blood. For your safety of course.” Eric’s face went from serious to predatory as he moved his head to inhale her scent, Y/n hearing his fangs pop as she placed her hands on his shoulders pushing him back although she knew he had allowed it since she couldn’t move him if she was a body builder.
“Hold on Bucko! I’m perfectly safe without being a human pin cushion or drinking from you thank you very much.” Eric ran his hand along her arm and grasped her hand, kissing her knuckles before placing it beside her head, her other one still pressing against his shoulder as he lowered himself gently to not hurt her.
“My blood is wearing off and without it i can’t know where you are or if you are in danger, your blood is to keep the connection strong.” Y/n raised an eyebrow as she thought it over, she knew what they were doing could be dangerous but she also didn’t want to be tied to Eric in such an intimate way, especially after her numerous dreams about him. Eric used his speed to sit with his back against the headboard, Y/n straddling him as he bit his wrist and placed it near her mouth.
“Drink.” Y/n stared at it for a moment before nodding and placing one hand on his wrist to press it against her mouth, his mouth opening as he watched her before grasping her free wrist and kissing the vein. Eric watched her intensely as he sunk his fangs in, her eyes closing as she waited for the pain but it never came. Instead she felt warmth spread through her arm, opening her eyes. She and Eric maintained eye contact as they both drank. Y/n pulling away before Eric as he relished in her sweet, divine taste, it was addictive and he wished to have more and more but he pulled away. His fangs stayed down as he pierced his finger and dotted the blood over the fang marks, his fangs clicking in as her skin magically healed over leaving no visible trace he had touched her.
“Why does drinking the blood not heal that? Why do you have to put it over it?” Y/n held her wrist as she ran a thumb over where he had bit, the skin alight as she felt her core warm and stomach seem to fizzle.
“It would heal it eventually but it’s like a stake of claim on a human, that you have been bitten by a vampire and although our blood heals you at an exceptional rate it works barely on the bite mark only stopping the blood before it slowly closes.” Y/n nodded as she looked down and blushed as she realised she was still on Eric’s lap, his hands rushing to grip her hips as she tried to move off, a small smile on his face as he pulled her down to lay against his chest.
“Just relax for a while.” Y/n froze as she felt the heat in her core become scorching, her stomach now full of butterflies and every touch of Eric’s skin felt like electricity rushed through her skin and made the hairs stand. She could feel her heart beating quicker as she concentrated on her breathing, very aware of Eric’s powers and that it would be impossible for him to not hear her heartbeat or how the blood rushed through her body at an accelerated rate than usual.
“Shouldn’t we go to the nest you said about, to meet with the other vampires.” Y/n’s voice was soft as she laid against his cool chest, trying to listen for a heartbeat or breathing she knew would never happen. Eric made a noise before shifting Y/n from him, watching as she rolled off the bed and stood before brushing her clothes and put her hands on her hips.
“So…tell me the plan.” Y/n grinned.
“He is my maker.” Y/n’s eyes widened as Eric explained why the vampire in question was so important, Sookie looking sadly at Eric as Pam glared at Bill for pushing Eric to tell.
“He is a very powerful vampire and i believe someone in his court has betrayed him, i will find out who.” Eric’s words were filled with venom as he walked past the group and left, Pam following suit as Bill took Sookie’s hand and Y/n followed behind.
As they entered Godric’s domain, Y/n looked around, she was certain over a hundred people were in the room alone as Eric spoke to another vampire, Pam standing beside Y/n as per Eric’s instructions although Y/n was unaware.
“You dare to suggest one of us would betray him!” The vampire shouted, the pair getting into a heated argument before Eric’s fangs dropped and the vampire hissed at him. Y/n couldn’t help but realise how alike cats Vampire’s truly were, hissing and scrapping but loving when you fed them.
“Okay boys lets reel this in or we won’t get anywhere.” Pam drawled, her arms crossed as she rolled her eyes at the buffoonery, the pair listening to her and stepping back but glaring deeply at the other.
“You expect us to put our faith in two humans?” Y/n tried not to be offended as Stan spoke, another lady speaking up as she said her lover would go with them, the man smiling and shaking the Stackhouse’s hands as he introduced himself.
“Hi, I'm Hugo.” Y/n gave him a small smile but Sookie began talking whilst Y/n just crossed her arms and watched Eric growl at Stan again.
Y/n stared in the mirror as she wore one of Sookie’s sundresses, pale blue with light pink flowers, the halterneck pushing her chest up with a silver necklace and pearl charm resting between her breasts. Placing on some light pink heels which were also her sisters, she had to remind herself to call Sookie by the fake name, she was still her sister but Sookie and Hugo were married and wanted to join the church.
“You look ravishing.” Y/n rolled her eyes as she turned to look at Eric, her hands working through the bouncy curls she had just taken out the rollers, her entire outfit screaming innocent christian kid.
“I look like Sookie.” Eric smirked as he stepped forward, opening his hand to reveal a beautiful ring, silver and thin with intricate detailing around the side, leaf-like shapes wrapping around a crystal as Y/n stared at in awe.
“You are not Sookie and Sookie is not you. You are a beautiful, angelic being with or without the costume. I much prefer you as you normally are but it is fun to see the other sides.” Y/n stared at Eric unsure what to say before he took her hand, gently placing the ring on her right ring finger, reminding himself she was meant to be an innocent girl and not a married woman.
“Thank you.” Y/n was able to mumble out as Eric held her hand, his other hand coming to push the curls out her face as she gulped slightly, the tension thick before the door opened and Sookie walked in.
“You ready?” Eric was across the room in an instance, glaring at Sookie as he walked out and left Y/n with a dry mouth and her eyes lingering on the ring.
“It is so nice to have you all here, you make a lovely couple and Mia you would be a perfect addition to our family along side your Sister and Brother in-law.” Sarah held Y/n’s hand as she spoke, the bubbly blonde seeming overly excited for new members whilst Steve gave a fake smile and looked towards Gabe.
“Thank you so much Ma’am, i am hoping to make so many friends and maybe even meet a nice God loving man to live here with just like my Sister has.” Sarah grinned widely as she pulled Y/n into a hug, gushing about how much fun it will be to introduce her to all the men and women of the church and that she might have a couple of people in mind.
“Well this has been lovely folks but Gabe here needs to take you for the rest of the tour, we like to show folks the underbelly before signing everything in.” Steve gave another fake smile whilst Sookie’s faltered, her eyes darting between Steve and Gabe whilst Sarah held Y/n’s hand and looked confused.
“Steve, Honey, i can take them to the office and do all the legal stuff now they don’t need to go down there.” Steve let out a fake laugh and shook his head, pulling Sarah away from Y/n as Sookie finally heard what she needed, her eyes darting to Y/n before Gabe knocked out Hugo and grabbed Sookie. Steve moving to grab Y/n as she screamed and punching him in the chest, his body half bending as he wheezed, Y/n running at Gabe and throwing herself on his back as he tried to drag Sookie towards the basement doors.
“Get off her!” Gabe threw his body about wildly until Y/n was knocked off, her back hitting the ground hard as she felt the wind be knocked out of her, Steve now cursing as he called his soldiers in. Two men who Sarah was sure she hadn’t seen before entered as she had tears flowing down her face, one man slamming Y/n’s head against the ground hard enough to make her dizzy before dragging her down the stairs behind Gabe, another following suit with Hugo.
“God damn vampire lovers.” Steve cursed as he wiped his mouth, his eyes glaring at the basement doors before smiling at his wife and walking away.
Y/n had a nasty headache when she opened her eyes, Sookie was still out whilst Hugo was sat with tears flowing as Y/n watched Gabe grin at them.
“Two out of three awake isn’t too bad. Now lets get to my questions.”
Y/n slammed her hands against the metal gating as Gabe interrogated Hugo, Hugo giving up their real names and that Sookie could read minds
“Shut the hell up Hugo!” Y/n shouted as Gabe grinned and looked at Y/n, her hands gripping the metal as she glared at him.
“So Y/n Stackhouse, Sookie Stackhouse…i wonder what your brother thinks about you being fangbangers.” Sookie scowled as she demanded to know how they knew about Jason but Gabe was gone. Y/n glared at Hugo as he held his head in his hands, his body covered in sweat as he took deep practised breaths.
Sookie kept staring at Hugo until she gasped and stood, her face falling as she spoke.
“You! You told them about us!” Y/n looked confused towards Sookie before Hugo began having word vomit, explaining how he believed vampires only used humans until they were nothing left and that he couldn’t feel this way any longer. Y/n walked towards him and slapped him harshly, grabbing his shirt and pulling him so they were face to face.
“You got us dragged down to a basement, beat up and probably killed because you didn’t have the balls to break up with your girlfriend.” Y/n spat, shoving Hugo back down as she began kicking and hitting the gate trying to force it open.
They were down there for what felt like hours before the door opened, Hugo standing up as Gabe walked in.
“Gabe! You gotta get me out of here, she knows it was me and I need protection…what happened to your face?” Gabe slammed the door open, grabbing it and locking it behind him before his fist met Hugo’s face.
“Protection huh, you want to protect you, dirty fangbanger!” Y/n’s eyes went wide as Gabe kicked Hugo hard, Sookie running and grabbed Gabe, pulling his arm back as Y/n jumped on his back and wrapped her arms around his neck.
“You fucking whores.” Gabe growled out, swinging his arm and throwing Sookie against the units, his hands gripping Y/n’s arms and with a bruising grip he bent over and flipped her onto the back, her head bouncing against the ground as she cried out in pain. Her eyes barely focusing as she watched Sookie smash a box over his head, Gabe angrily grabbed her round the neck and pressed her into the unit as Y/n tried to get up but her body wouldn’t move.
“You and your moron family are done making a fool out of me.” Sookie gasped for air as Gabe squeezed her neck, Y/n’s eyes barely staying open as she called out to her sister.
“Get your filthy hands off me.” Sookie pushed her palm against Gabe’s face trying to get him off as he seethed with rage, Y/n forcing her body up before Gabe threw Sookie down, turning and kicking Y/n harshly in the stomach making her roll onto her back and wheeze out in pain.
“What’s wrong huh! Your own kind not good enough for ya.” Gabe slammed Sookie against the ground, grabbing at her dress as she screamed and tried to get away, his hands ripping open her dress as he spoke.
“Yeah show me how you take that big vampire cock.” Sookie cried out as Gabe grabbed her legs, Y/n trying her hardest to roll onto her side as she spat out blood and her whole body wanted to collapse, she wished for the sun to go down and to watch this man be drained dry by Bill and Eric.
“Scream for me baby.” Gabe forced Sookie onto her front as he straddled her, his hand bruising her skin at his harsh grip. Suddenly she felt the weight be taken off her as she cried and turned over, forcing herself against the wall as she looked at the man holding Gabe. Y/n managed to crawl towards Sookie, the sisters holding each other as Y/n covered Sookie’s lower half and the pair stared at the man whilst Gabe choked and tried to get free.
“Godric?”
“Please please don’t kill me.” Gabe pleaded as Godric looked between Sookie, Y/n and Hugo, sighing as he snapped Gabe’s neck, Sookie crying as she watched his body hit the floor. Y/n was lucky she had Eric’s blood in her system as she felt her wounds slowly heal, not as quick as before but enough that her body was now only filled with a dull ache instead of a mind blinding one.
Godric helped Y/n stand, Sookie holding her dress closed as Y/n coughed harshly.
“Fuckin asshole.” Y/n spat at Gabe’s corpse as Godric helped them out of the cell, Hugo breathing but unconscious as Sookie looked out the window seeing the sun was finally down.
“Y/n.” Y/n felt herself be enveloped in arms as Eric grabbed her, his head in her hair as he inhaled before looking her over, her eyebrow was cut and he could smell fresh blood coming from a wound on her leg and arm but she smiled at him.
“Eric.” Godric spoke, his voice calm yet full of authority as the latter let go of Y/n and bent down on one knee, head dipped.
“You were a fool for sending humans after me.” Y/n watched in awe as Godric spoke to Eric.
“I had no other choice, these savages seek to destroy you.” Eric looked up at Godric as he spoke, his voice full of concern and love as Godric continued to look down at him with no emotion.
“I know what they have planned. This one betrayed you.” Godric motioned towards Hugo where he laid passed out, Sookie hugging herself.
“They say a trap for us, without Godric…” Sookie couldn’t finish the sentence as her eyes dropped to Gabe’s body, shivering as she tried to not think about how close he got to raping her if not for Godric.
“How long has it been since you fed?” Eric watched Godric as he looked back at him.
“I require very little blood anymore.”
An alarm began blaring as Godric looked disappointed towards the exit of the basement.
“Take the humans and go.”
“I will not leave you.”
“Take them and go, do not spill any blood on your way out. I will be fine.” Eric nodded standing as he held Y/n’s hand and Sookie followed behind, nodding her head to Godric as Eric guided them out. Y/n looking back at the old vampire as she tried to decipher what he had planned but she didn’t think it would be a happy ending.
Y/n watched and cringed as Eric spoke in an american and meek voice, his body language that of a meek human whilst he looked like a viking, watching as the men tried to attack him. Sookie held Y/n close as Eric knocked the humans unconscious, Eric signalling them out before a horde of believers entered, Eric’s fangs dropping as he placed Y/n and Sookie behind him. Y/n watched in horror as Eric gave himself up in exchange for his maker and the Stackhouse’s safety, Steve grinning as he bound him in silver, his hand on his shoulder as he demanded the men grab the women.
“It is honourable however, I think we need to show these fangbangers how easily their coveted vampires die.” Eric grunted as the men forced him to watch, Y/n spitting at Steve as he glared at her.
“Pig.” Y/n was shoved along behind Eric as Sookie tried to hold her dress closed and walk, all three entering the altar as the Stackhouse’s were forced to watch Eric lay down and more chains be added, each one making him hiss in pain. The doors slammed open as Bill and Jason entered, a gun in Jason’s hand as Bill hissed and called out to Sookie. Steve grabbed Sookie as the man holding Y/n adjusted his grip to wrap an arm around her neck, her hands coming to dig her nails into his arms but he only tightened them. Jason shot his weapon, hitting the gun out of Steve’s hand before he shot him in the head, Steve being knocked back as Bill grabbed Sookie and Y/n, the men all grabbing their stakes as Jason fought against Luke.
“Get em!” Stan shouted as he entered, other vampires following as they all began fighting, Y/n rushing over to Eric and removing the silver, grabbing his face as he hissed in pain as she pulled them.
“It’s okay, it’s okay.” Y/n reassured him as she threw the last silver to the side and placed a hand on his cheek, watching as all his wounds healed.
“Stop! There will be no bloodshed.” Godric spoke, his voice deep and loud as he stood in the stained glass window, an almost godly light behind him as he demanded all vampires let the humans go.
Steve cried out as his people left him alone, Godric holding him by the scruff of his collar as even Luke, a devoted member, left and closed the door leaving him alone with the vampires and Stackhouses.
“And i slept with your wife.” Jason grinned as Y/n, Sookie, Bill and himself left Steve with Godric.
Y/n stood beside Sookie at the nest, both changed into more comfortable clothes as everyone celebrated the return of Godric although Y/n could feel he wasn’t as excited as everyone else was.
“Don’t you think it’s weird?” Y/n mused as Sookie looked at her sister confused.
“What?”
“That he’s not happy to be back, he wasn’t chained or anything. Just there. I wonder why.” Y/n shrugged as she looked at her drink and swirled the cocktail around before taking a drink.
“Sookie I presume.” Y/n looked the new person up and down, her bright red floor length gown out of place as Y/n took that as her cue to walk away since Sookie was more than protected in the room. Eric left Godric to talk to Y/n, honing in on her as she leant against a wall, smiling at Eric as he loomed over her.
“How are you feeling?” Eric was confused at the question, not used to being asked such a human thing but shrugged and looked towards Godric.
“He told me what happened, i should have been there sooner i am sorry.” Y/n’s eyes moved to Sookie and nodded before looking back at him.
“They all think vampires are the worst evil in the world but truthfully it’s those without a moral code or conscience that are the scariest and most unnatural ones. I’m just grateful to Godric.” Eric watched her carefully, feeling her every emotion as she looked back at her drink and put on a smile, raising the drink towards Eric.
“To us all.” Y/n finished the drink and pushed off the wall, Eric moving back and watching her as she walked towards the table and poured another cocktail, enjoying how the vampire bartender offered her different versions. Y/n heard a sudden noise, looking over at where Bill now held Sookie whilst Godric had the woman in red by the throat, explaining to everyone that he wanted humans and vampires to live in harmony and that vampires like Lorena had no future in the new world. Y/n was shocked as Bill was commanded to escort her out, being banished from his area for her actions.
(I’m changing the story to Godric is only fired for giving himself up and doesn’t die because honestly i always hated that and for being such and old and wise vampire he should have been used more)
Y/n laid in her own bed, relishing in the silence throughout the house, Sookie was with Bill and Y/n was finally alone with her thoughts. She imagined that Eric and Pam were sorting out fangtasia, Sookie was probably trying to sort out Jessica and Bill’s relationship and well, she was laid in bed alone. Closing her eyes she sighed as she tried to relax her body but she felt too tense, too pent up from the last few weeks of continuous hell.
“Were you waiting for me?” Y/n let out a scream and jumped, almost falling off the bed as she stared at Eric, a smirk on his face as he watched her, arms crossed and a chuckle coming from him.
“Do you make a habit of breaking and entering?” Y/n demanded as she pulled a blanket up to cover her pyjamas as Eric half crawled on the bed towards her.
“It’s not breaking and entering if you’ve let me in, you didn’t even lock the door Y/n.” Y/n’s eyes widened as she realised she had no recollection of doing it but kept her eyes on Eric as he came closer.
“Well thanks for checking in, you can go now.” Y/n raised an eyebrow as he grinned, laying next to her as he put his hands behind his head and looked at her.
“You’re no fun, don’t i atleast get a reward for saving you?” Y/n stared at him with an incredulous look and shifted to lean on her side and stare at him.
“And what did you save me from exactly?” Y/n turned to his side and propped himself up so he was face to face with her as his fangs dropped but Y/n stayed still.
“Anyone could have come in and ravished you, instead here i am to give you everything you’ve ever wanted and more.” Y/n rolled her eyes and huffed as she put her back against the headboard and side eyes Eric as he ran a hand along the blanket covering her legs.
“No one is going to come and ravish me.” Y/n pushed his hand off and got up, walking around the bed and opening her bedroom door as she cocked a hip and looked at Eric.
“You know where the front door is.” Eric laughed and made himself comfy on the bed, grinning deeply at Y/n as she deadpanned.
“I think it would be best if I stay here and look after you. It wouldn’t be safe.” Y/n rolled her eyes and closed the bedroom door, climbing in beside Eric and rolling over so her back faced him.
“Goodnight.” Eric grinned to himself before using his speed to strip down to his underwear and climb in next to Y/n, the latter huffing and turning around as he made the bed move.
“Why are you half naked?” Y/n stared at his face as he winked at her and moved a hand to run along her hip, her mind going back to the dream as she realised she was wearing the same pjs as before. Her eyes clouding slightly as she felt her heart race, Eric smirking as he noticed the flood of arousal through her body and leaned closer.
“Why aren’t you?” Y/n stared at Eric for a moment too long before she surged forward and kissed him, Eric falling onto his back as she straddled him, his hands hungrily clutching at any skin he could touch. Their lips only parted so Y/n could grab his face and make him focus on her.
“This is just sex, nothing more.” Eric’s fangs dropped at her words as she let out a moan at them.
“Tell me that again once i’ve made you cum so hard you can’t remember your own name.” Y/n felt her core burst with need as she ground on him, Eric taking control and flipping them as he grazed his teeth along her pulse point and down until he was crawling between her legs.
“These will have to go.” Y/n wasn’t able to answer before he ripped her pjs bottoms, her naked bottom half being lapped up by his eyes as his hands reached up and ripped open her shirt, watching her breasts jiggle and nipples peak from the cool.
“You better replace them.” Y/n chided as she watched his hands come in contact with her thighs, spreading them slowly as she watched him groan at the site of her pussy. His eyes moving to look at her as he settled between her thighs and lightly kissed her inner thigh, watching her closely.
“I will buy you anything you wish.” Y/n bit her lip as he ran his fangs along the artery in her thigh, tingles spreading through her legs as goosebumps followed, each small nick of sharp tooth against soft skin setting a fire in her stomach until his lips met her clit. Y/n gasping as her head fell back, his tongue licking a long strip along her pussy as her hands found his hair and tugged making him groan against her pussy.
Eric spoke words in a language Y/n could not understand, too busy feeling how his tongue worked her closer and closer to the edge, fangs nipping against the sensitive bud as she gasped and whined at the feeling. Eric enjoyed how she reacted to each movement, his hands palming at her thighs, goosebumps following each touch and he could hear the blood rushing straight to her pussy. Y/n moaned loudly as he head hit the mattress, hands tugging hard on his hard she he swirled his tongue watching as her body began to shake, teetering on the edge as he moved his head away. His thumb taking place as he sunk his teeth into her artery, the combination making Y/n cum, eyes going blury as she felt like she blacked out, Eric moaning at the taste of her blood when he opened his eyes and jumped back from her. Y/n’s hands glowed as they now fell beside her, chest rising and falling as she came down from her high, eyes opening as the light disappeared and left her dazed and confused as she looked at Eric.
“You glowed.” Eric managed to say as Y/n raised an eyebrow and sat up slightly, staring at him as he watched her like she was an alien.
“I glowed? What the hell does that mean.” Y/n huffed as she pulled a blanket over her, embarrassed now that she had cum and felt less out of control of her lust. Instead she wished she had kicked him out so she didn’t have to deal with this.
“Your hands glowed when you came.” Y/n now looked shocked as she looked at her hands, she had always had an odd feeling when she was feeling intense feelings, but since she had never remembered a glow coming from her hands it seemed silly.
“I glowed.” Y/n repeated this time more certain as Eric came closer and took her hands, thumb moving over her palm before a smirk came over him.
“I guess we’ll have to test it again then. For science.” Y/n squealed as Eric pulled the blanket back and dragged her down the bed, a protest dying in her throat and being replaced with a choked moan as he lapped at her clit again.
Y/n tried not to look at Eric, after their ‘experiment’ the other week she had almost passed out from how many times he had made her cum and she was too exhausted to have sex afterwards. Not that Eric had minded in the slightest, he’d seen her hands glow three times throughout the night and had thoroughly enjoyed himself. Now she stood awkwardly in fangtasia as Sookie asked for help, Bill had gone missing and Sookie was distraught.
“I will look into it, but it was not me.” Sookie crossed her arms and stared at him for a moment before agreeing, turning around and going to leave as Y/n scampered behind her but was caught by Eric as he moved in front of her.
“I need to speak to you.” Y/n hid her thoughts quickly and awkwardly scratched her neck.
“I’m really busy actually.” Sookie gave her a confused look and Y/n could feel her poking around in her head but Y/n had learnt how to block her out for the most part or atleast project the correct thoughts.
“It wasn’t a question.” Pam moved to escort Sookie out, Y/n giving her a reassuring smile and projecting her thoughts, letting her know she was okay and to go to Merlotte’s. When the door closed and Pam was gone Y/n swung her arms back and forth and looked anywhere but Eric as he stared down at her.
“You haven’t answered my calls or texts.” Y/n smiled nervously at Eric as she looked at him, her mind going back to him between her legs as she blushed and looked back down.
“It’s been a busy week.” Eric made a noise and grabbed her, speeding them into his office as he pressed her against his desk, her legs wrapped around his body as he smirked down at her.
“Then let me relieve some of the stress.” Y/n didn’t get a chance to answer before he kissed her, feeling her melt into the kiss as she felt him grind against her jeans, hands kneading her thighs. Pulling away she turned her head as she let out a moan, his lips going to her neck as he kissed down to her collarbones and back up, hand grabbing her chin to kiss her again.
“You are addictive.” Eric spoke against her lips, feeling her hands grab his shirt as she dragged it up his body. Hands running back down his chest to rip at his trousers as she moaned against his lips. Eric used his speed to rid him of his clothes, kneeling between Y/n’s legs as he slowly unbuttoned her jeans and peeled them from her legs, kissing along her bare calf and up her thigh maintaining eye contact. Y/n in a trance as she watched Eric’s fingers hook in her underwear and drag them down her body, his hands running along her legs as he stood and leant over her. Kissing her gently, only breaking to tug her shirt over her head as he worshipped her. Hands deftly removed her bra as her nails dug into his arms as he claimed her mouth, pulling small moans and whines from Y/n as his hands explored her body. Pulling away he kissed down her body, watching as she leant back on the desk, legs opening for him. Grinning he sucked gently on the clit, listening to her heart race and the air be sucked into her lungs as her hands gripped the desk. He continued for a minute longer, his hands kneading her inner thighs before he rose, her eyes blown as he kissed her. Y/n wrapped her arms around his neck as she felt his finger at her entrance, slowly pushing in as she moaned into his mouth. Eric slowly worked her open, gently coaxing her body to fully relax before he removed his finger and lined himself up. His forehead resting against hers as he spoke.
“Is this okay?” Y/n nodded quickly, hand coming to pull him back into a kiss as he growled against her lips and slowly pushed in. Y/n moaned as he filled her, head falling back as Eric kissed her throat, controlling himself from going faster as he slowly pushed in and out until he felt her body fully relax. Y/n whimpered as he pushed in harder, her legs wrapping tightly around his back as he pulled her face back to kiss her, fangs grazing her bottom lip.
“You feel heavenly.” Eric whispered against her lips, her eyes opening to look at him as he pushed in faster, watching her eyes barely stay open as she moaned, making him groan at the feeling of her flexing around him.
Y/n felt her stomach begin to tighten as Eric went quicker, one of his hands grasping at her breast as he played with the nipple, the other dropping between her legs to rub on her aching clit. He moaned as he felt her tighten around him, her nails now digging into his back as she held onto him. Her body bounced against his as he thrust, his head dropping to her neck as he grazed his fangs against her pulse point. Y/n whining and nodding as his thumb sped up, his fangs piercing her skin as she came, his name falling from her lips as he sped up. Her body squirming against him as he forced her into a second orgasm, his own moan mixing with hers as he came. His fangs moved from her neck as he slowed, his vampire abilities letting him recover quicker as she felt him harden once more in her. The feeling making her clench and moan, overstimulated and exhausted as he pulled out kissed her bite mark. Y/n’s chest rose and fell with each deep breath as Eric disappeared and reappeared a moment later, a small white cloth in his hand as he cleaned her. Taking his time as he watched her twitch as each swipe of the cloth, her body trying to move away as he cooed at her.
“It’s okay.” Y/n nodded as he moved away, throwing the cloth somewhere she couldn’t see as he picked her up and laid her against his chest on the sofa. Her body curled into his cool one, allowing her body to relax further as she looked at him.
“That was…wow.” Y/n could barely think as Eric grinned and kissed her, his fangs dropping as he moved back and pierced his finger, rubbing his blood over the maro and watching it heal over. He knew the one on her thigh was still there, claiming her as his.
They sat together for a while before Y/n forced herself up, grabbing her clothes and entering the bathroom as she got herself ready and walked out. Eric stood dressed as he smirked at her.
“No round two?” Y/n laughed and shook her head.
“I think one was enough for my human body, but this is the only time okay? We both got it out of our system and you can move on to your next obsession.” Y/n’s voice was serious as she spoke, convincing herself it was now done with and he could go on to the next person. Eric scowled as he moved in front of her.
“Excuse me?” Y/n looked at him confused as she crossed her arms.
“This was just sex remember?” Eric looked down at Y/n before grabbing her hand and pulling her into his chest.
“Did you really think i have done everything i have just to fuck you? That I care so much about your pussy and not you?” Y/n blinked in confusion as she didn’t know what to say.
“I want you to be mine Y/n. I have since the moment we met and i do not take that lightly.” Y/n was perplexed as Eric brought her hand to his mouth and placed a kiss on it.
“Be mine.” It was phrased like a question yet didn’t sound like one to Y/n as she stared into his eyes, unsure what to do as she felt her heart tug at his words.
“Why?” Y/n’s mouth was dry as she asked, Eric laughing slightly as he shook his head and held her face as he got so close she felt his lips graze hers.
“Because i love you and you love me.” Y/n felt tears in her eyes as she moved forward and kissed him, the two tangling in each other as Eric picked her up, holding her tightly as he pulled away. He looked at her expectantly as she smiled at him.
“I’m yours.”

keep my heart
eric northman x human!reader
synopsis: you were his achilles heel, his heart outside of his body, and he would do anything to protect it
eric hadn’t given you any details after picking you up from work. you had settled into his car after your long shift at merlotte’s, the restaurant air lingered on your skin, the hard work of the day ached in your bones. you felt everything but beautiful, and initially refused the vampire’s offer to drive you home. but after much convincing, and the reminder that you barely had a choice, you had reluctantly gotten into the car with him.
he looked at you coolly, turning on the radio as he began to drive. you stared at his side profile, waiting for him to say something. eric smiled slightly, “what?” he didn’t know what made you so special in his eyes, from your knowledge and the words of many others, eric hated humans, didn’t respect human life enough.
but you, you had been the only exception, and eric found himself fighting to keep you in his life, even if he’s had to subtly change his ways. yet somehow, the past always came to bite him back in the ass, hence the reason he had decided to drop you off at bill’s house instead of your house. he owed him a favor anyway.
you watched as the silhouette of your house passed you by. you sat up with a slight panic and let out a nervous chuckle, “seemed to pass my house by. i’m surprised you forgot, i thought your memory was supposed to be sharp.” you tried to be playful, not knowing the bounds of his anger, and you never wanted to.
eric smiled softly, “i didn’t.” his hand moved over to the radio knob and turned the music all the way up. it blasted as you exhaled deeply. you were trying not to panic, you hadn’t been in danger with eric before, and you had been hanging around him for a while. but you weren’t sure if it was sookie’s words on eric that came back to haunt you, or just the sheer panic of it all, but for the first time, you were afraid of eric northman.
you recognized bill’s house as the car pulled in. you had been there just a handful of times, mostly with sookie who had been the one to introduce you to eric. you looked at eric and he grabbed your hand, “please.” he didn’t have to say much else as you understood what he was trying to say.
behave. the word went unspoken, and you stepped out of the car after a moment of hesitation. you had no reason not to trust the viking, he had been more than kind to you for the while that hes shown interest in you. courting you, buying you expensive gifts and gowns, more than a small town girl would ever need. yet, you hadn’t shared more than a kiss, nothing to warrant his affection. it was a mystery, his interest in you, but you liked his company, and at times, his protection.
eric could feel your fear, he saw it in your shoulders as you walked next to him. he had been silent the entire time, not knowing what else he was supposed to say. he put a hand against the small of your back, gently leading you into the house.
you looked at eric with wide eyes as you saw bill. there was an expression of distress on bill’s features as he saw you. you knew through sookie that bill couldn’t stand eric’s infatuation with you. he thought it was dangerous, yet he had no qualms of his own romance with sookie.
so to be standing here at his doorstep with said dangerous man behind you, you felt small. bill looked at you and smiled politely, “miss y/n, sookie is here. why don’t you join her?” he stepped aside, opening his arm to lead you in. you turned to look at eric and caught a glimpse of the look he shared with bill.
whatever he was doing, he was doing it for you.
you swallowed thickly and nodded, feeling stiff as you walked into the living room, seeing the blonde ponytail of your best friend, feeling a slight relief. she usually had the answers, even if she always had something to say about your friendship with eric.
she turned as you approached the couch she was seated on. “y/n-“ she embraced you tightly, “im so glad you’re alright.” she pulled away and you furrowed your eyebrows, “why wouldn’t i be? do you know why eric brought me here? what’s going on sookie?” you had so many questions that seemed to erupt at her words. clearly she knew something you didn’t, and she shouldn’t have told you.
her face tightened, unsure of how to explain the situation, you ran off back towards eric.
he and bill had moved their conversation to the library and you pushed the partially opened door, wide open, “eric- what the hell is going on?” you wanted to trust him, and you had been, knowing often that what he did, he did with a purpose.
but randomly offering to pick you up after work, and driving past your house on purpose had been one, but sookie knowing before you did of your own fate was ridiculous, especially coming from him.
the vampires’ conversation died down immediately and eric looked at you with a stone expression. bill looked between the two of you and once towards eric before excusing himself politely.
you stared at eric, and he sighed deeply, breaking the stoic expression and silence that he had been giving you all night.
“eric-“ you were scared, you didn’t want to admit it but in a world that became almost unrecognizable to you in the past few years, you had the right to be. he stood up and walked over to you. he inhaled and gently put his hands on your arms, “y/n-“ eric’s head was bowed, unusual for a man who loved eye contact, “bill will protect you while i’m gone. i-“ eric cleared his throat, “i’ve gotten into some shit and,” he shrugged, “they have a tendency to harm the ones i love. and i haven’t had to protect anyone,” he finally looked up at you, “in a very long time.” as he looked into your eyes, it suddenly dawned on you that your friendship with eric had long been something else.
“i see.” you couldn’t help the automatic reply that came out, you were too occupied staring into the viking’s eyes. unable to stop yourself, you leaned in to kiss eric, his lips catching yours into a passionate kiss. his hands fell from your arms down to your waist, squeezing tight at your hips.
eric pulled away suddenly and you called after him, “eric!” but he was already racing out the door, his long legs giving him the advantage. you saw him walking towards the door and you leapt towards him, but felt hands gripping at you, stopping you from reaching eric.
you turned and saw it was bill, who’s vampire strength easily subdued you. eric looked at you painfully and at bill, “keep my heart, bill compton, or else i’ll be really, really fucking pissed.”
as eric left, and you continued to struggle in bill’s arms, you were left with more questions than before, and at the tone of his words, you weren’t sure if and when eric northman would return for you.

“You don’t look very good.” Eric states the obvious as his brows knit together in a look of, wait a minute, is that… concern that you’re seeing on his face? It must be the medication you’re on that’s blurring your vision and dulling your senses, because you’re pretty sure that ‘concern’ isn’t in Eric Northman’s emotional repertoire. “What’s wrong with you?”
It isn’t until he pushes you up against the wall, staring at your pale face as beads of sweat run down your temples that he understands why you didn’t show up to Fangtasia tonight or bother answering your phone when he called. The realization of your illness slowly melts that concerned look of his into a stoic expression of understanding, allowing his pupils to expand just the slightest bit before his lips part in silence.
“I’m just sick, it’s nothing.” You try to look away from him, tempted to fall back into your old habit of isolating yourself when falling ill, only he grabs hold of your chin to prevent that from happening.
“Sick, how?” That sense of understanding gets washed away in a flash, his brief display of genuine emotion quickly covered up by his usual curt and cutting tone.
“It’s just an infection, I know I should have called, I just didn’t think you’d…”
“Didn’t think I’d what?” He tightens his grip on your chin, bringing his face closer to yours. “Didn’t think I’d notice that my favorite human wasn’t there to greet me tonight?”
Favorite human? Did you hear that right? You can’t help but raise your eyebrows in surprise as he admits it out loud, albeit through gritted teeth.
“I was too weak to drive out there, I…” You mutter as his cool grip on your face chills you even more, forcing your body to shiver in its febrile state.
“Then let me heal you.” He offers, his eyes scanning over your shaking form before he brings his wrist up to his mouth.
“What?” Your arrangement with Eric has always been very simple; you show up once a week to let him feed on you and he pays you enough money to cover your mortgage each month. It had never been more than that though, never crossed any other carnal line despite your secret desire for more intimacy with him. He had never once offered you his own blood before, and the idea of it still kind of scares you, if you’re being honest with yourself. “Heal me?”
“So you won’t be sick anymore.” He loosens his grip on your face, his hand falling loosely around your neck.
“I’m on antibiotics, Eric, I don’t need your blood.” You attempt to walk away from him but he places his palm flat across your chest, forcing you back into position against the wall. Even his restrained amount of strength is too much for your weakened muscles to withstand as you wince in pain.
“Let me heal you.” He stares into your eyes, accessing your subconscious mind as you can’t help but stare right back, too tired to put up any sort of emotional barrier between the two of you. You’ve seen him do this to others before, convincing them to do whatever he wanted, whether that be to pay him back, run away or even kill someone for him. You just never thought he’d do it to you.
“Okay,” You hear yourself whisper almost immediately before taking his hand and leading him to the couch at the far end of your living room. You watch him sit down as if he’s already been there dozens of times before, as if he’s lived there with you already, as if he owns the place. You feel him pull you onto his lap, guiding your hips and thighs so that you’re now straddling him in the middle of your couch as his hands carefully smooth their way up your back.
“You’re shivering.” He grins as you settle into him, your pelvis slowly rocking against his hips as his hands find their way into your hair. “I can fix that.”
“Yeah?” As scary as the idea of drinking his blood is, the thought of letting this feverish hell continue any longer seems way worse.
“Let me take care of you.” Eric fumbles through the random items on the side table closest to him until he finds something sharp at his disposal: a ball point pen. He pushes the cap off with his thumb, smiles up at you before jabbing the pen into his neck so quickly, you barely have a chance to register what’s happening before he pulls you in closer. “Now, drink.”
You gasp as your heart races in a confused sense of horror, watching droplets of his blood ooze out of his wound and down the porcelain skin of his neck. Your lips begin to tremble as his fingers weave their way into your hair, pushing your mouth in closer to his throat as you attempt to fight your body’s natural panic response.
“Drink.” He instructs again, only this time more sternly.
Having no other choice but to do as you’re told, you open your mouth and lick the droplets of blood from his neck as he continues to hold you in place. It tastes a little better than you thought it would, a sort of salty mixture with hints of iron and blackberry wine that leaves a surprisingly pleasant aftertaste on the back of your tongue. Kind of like a rich Cabernet.
Well, that’s not so bad, now is it?
You open up again and start down at his clavicle this time, making sure to clean up any remnants of the fluid until you get all the way up to the puncture site, greedily suckling straight from the source. You can hear him moan as you lap him up, feel his grip on your hair tighten as you consume him, getting lost in the closeness of your bodies and the binding of your fluids. You’re sure that he can hear your heart beating wildly inside your chest, thumping hard against his as you wrap your arms around his torso to get even closer to him. You can feel his blood working inside you, healing you on a cellular level; each vampiric red blood cell eradicating any bacteria into oblivion as the weakness leaves your muscles and the pain dissipates from your throat.
“Enough,” he whispers reluctantly, now having to pull your mouth off him. “That’s enough, sweetheart.”
His words barely bring you out of your trance, his salty flesh no longer beneath your tongue as he tugs on your scalp to get you to finally stop drinking. It’s almost as if you’ve been brought back to reality after having one of the most intense dreams you’ve ever had as you watch his wound heal just as quickly as he had made it. You’ll never get used to that.
“It worked.” You exclaim gratefully. “I feel better!”
“I told you.” Eric grins as he runs his thumb across your bottom lip, reminding you that you’ve made quite the mess of yourself. “This is why you have to let me take care of you.”
“I’m not very good at that.” You’ve always had to take care of yourself in the past. One lesson that life has taught you time and time again is that the second you start depending on someone is the very moment that you’ll be disappointed.
“I know, but you have to let me do it anyway.” His eyelids drop halfway down as he looks at you longingly, gazing upon you in a way that you’ve never noticed before.
Maybe it’s that look, or maybe it’s the high of his blood now coursing through your veins that makes you suddenly feel compelled to press your lips against his, letting that vampiric confidence guide your actions. You keep them there for a few seconds, realizing that he isn’t pulling away from you, but instead is kissing you back with just as much enthusiasm as he pulls tighter on your scalp.
You’ve always wanted to kiss him, from the very first moment that you saw him. But something about him told you that he had women throwing themselves at his feet left and right; and you didn’t want to be like one of them. You were just grateful for the little contact you got when he fed upon you each week. You relished every caress of your cheek, every squeeze of your waist that sent shivers down your spine before he ended up drinking his fill. You never thought that he’d be interested in you like this, that he’d actually want you in that type of way at all.
However, his tongue now parts your lips as his kiss intensifies, all but moaning the truth into your mouth as if he’s been waiting just as long to finally taste your lips. His kiss is desperate and sloppy, so different from the perfectly put together business man you first met that night at the bar. His composure casually crumbles to pieces as his hands travel all over your body, frantically grasping onto your muscles until they find themselves in your hair again, his lips curling into a deviously satisfied smirk.
You feel him grow beneath his jeans, his clothed member now brushing against the thin fabric of your underwear as his hips needily writhe against your junction. His deliberate movements trigger that moisture to collect between your thighs as he continues his rhythm upward with several shallow breaths. Now stained in his own blood, his mouth ventures over every inch of your lips and chin before moving down to your jawline, licking a trail alongside your pulse.
You whimper in response, grinding your needy center against him as you brace yourself for the bite that never comes. Instead he lifts your shirt up over your head, exposing your bare breasts to the cool temperature of the room as your nipples harden in front of his face.
“You’ve been holding out on me.” He teases, letting go of the rest of you so he can graze his palms across them, sending a much more intense tingling sensation down your spine.
“I didn’t know that you wanted to…” Your breath hitches as he takes one of your nipples into his mouth, sucking hard before wrapping his arms behind you and turning you on your back. He keeps contact with your skin the entire time, pulling on your sensitive tissue as he looks up at you with those eyes again, dragging your tender bud in between his teeth.
“Really?” He laughs with a smirk. He moves on to the next one before popping it into his mouth while pinching the other, sending a barrage of little fireworks into your skin. “You think I make feeding contracts lightly?”
“No, I uhh…” Your back arches toward the ceiling as he sucks bursts of delight into your tissues, humming a sweet vibration against your skin as you all but melt beneath him. Pleasure being the last sensation you expect to get from Eric’s mouth, you can’t help but feel a little breathless as his fingers simultaneously tug your underwear down your hips as they instinctively lift off the couch cushion to aid in their removal. “It’s hard for me to tell sometimes.”
“You thought I didn’t want you?” He licks a languid path down your quaking abdomen as your muscles contract in hurried anticipation, beads of sweat popping up in his wake. He circles around your navel with his tongue, kissing a hungry trail down your pelvis while his hands help slide your panties off your calves and feet. He smiles and spreads your thighs as far apart as they can go, straining your muscles as he stares at you like a jungle cat would its prey before it pounces. “Looks like I could be a better communicator.”
His fangs drop and his eyes darken, wasting no time in settling between your thighs to take the bite you were wondering would ever come at all. Instead of sinking his fangs into your femoral artery to get the most blood in the least amount of time, though, he bites you just above your swollen center. He laughs as you yelp from the piercing pain, letting that red hot fluid spill down your already dripping wet seam before he dives in to finally taste it.
That cold, blood-thirsty vampire that you’ve known for the past few weeks finally comes out as he starts licking streaks of crimson up and down your puffy lips, spreading the blood and gore into your folds as his tongue delivers that tantalizing balance of pain and pleasure that you’ve only read about in books. He growls like the creature of the night that he is as he devours you, snaking his arms beneath your thighs to pull you in even closer as his mouth delves into your flesh. Unable to be sated, he flicks his tongue up and down your sensitive clit, sending signals of ecstasy up through your spine and into your brain as your eyes flutter with visions of shapes and colors you never knew existed.
Maybe it’s the vampire blood pumping through your veins for the very first time, or maybe it’s Eric’s skilled mouth that forces your eyes to roll back into your head. The way he keeps eating and drinking makes it feel as if each and every tiny hair on your skin is now alive, standing on end waiting for him to touch them, to give them permission to explode until your entire body begins to shake. You reach out for him in vain as the otherworldly sense of euphoria washes over you, forcing every muscle in your body to convulse in rhythmic waves as he relentlessly drinks from your bloody cunt. He glances up at you only to grin as your skin changes color, warming and cooling in phases as your orgasm violently works its way through your skin and bones and finally out of your mouth.
“Eric!” You cry out as he finally pulls back from you, licking his lips as you rattle and hum in the crimson mess he’s made of you. “Oh my God, Eric!”
“See?” He smirks as he watches you come down from your hormonal high, running your hands through his hair as he finally gives your bloody center one last lick. “All better.”

Pairing: Eric Northman | Hunter's Daughter!You.
Warning(s): Smut, m!Dom, f!sub, kissing, makeshift bondage, tongue play, feeding, minor blood play, Eric's fat cock, nipple play, unprotected p-in-v, probably fear kink, human x vampire, forbidden lovers trope, dirty talk, age gap (lmfao). MDNI.
Note: Idk if Eric's in anymore but my kid sister wants to watch True Blood so I showed her the trailer and here we are. Unedited because I've class in a few hours and I am exhausted~
It is dangerous, prohibited, condemned by nature herself.
And yet, that has never been enough to stop you.
As you stand in the chilly late evening air in the spot reserved for your meetings with your forbidden love, a shiver breaks out through your body but the reassurance that it would soon be compensated for by the electric touch of the main you await is enough to console you.
You are looking in the opposite direction of that of your pursuer when he does arrive, his tall figure approaching you faster and quieter than you can process.
Your surprised gasp doesn't make Eric falter as he zooms to one of his favorite spots to spend time with you in, your smaller body safely tucked in his muscular arms and pressed tightly against his chest.
The moment your body touches the sturdy ground of the mountaintop on which the silver moonlight shines in the most fascinating way, Eric doesn't allow you a moment to stop and marvel at the scenery. Instead, his desperate hands and hungry lips are on you all at once. His inhuman speed only serves his depraved intentions.
“Hello to you too—” your cheeky giggle is suppressed against his lips the moment you speak and his cold blue eyes flicker up to yours from the diversion of attention your sweet voice causes for him.
Eric doesn't have to say it. You can hear it in his cross growls as he relieves you of your clothing by pushing your shirt and bra all the way up to your elbows until you're in a makeshift bondage and your damp pants are laying beside you. He is not happy with how long he has had to wait for you this time.
You whimper out into his mouth in response, moaning at the feeling of his warm tongue dancing with yours as you lift your crotch to grind against his very stiff one. The waver in your breath is your silent apology as it is clear by now that Eric will not allow you any words tonight. He doesn't when he's not pleased with you, as apologies just sound like lousy excuses to him. And you are not one who dares to challenge him when he is already unhappy with you. Because you have made that mistake a handful of times, and each time, tears and snot were made your best companions.
Eric's hungry kisses now travel down your chin and along your jaw as the hand that is not fondling your chest feels for your neck now, one of his knees having already expertly parted your legs for his body to slot between. Your throat goes dry from excitement as you look up at the stars, craning your head to the side to give him more access to the junction of your shoulder but arching your back from how his hot lips tickle your tender skin.
Eric growls again once he reaches his spot of choice and sticks his balmy tongue out to lick at the mark you hide under hair and turtlenecks. A cry escapes you when he reproaches you by choking your poor nipple out between his fingertips. When his cold blue eyes come up to glare at you once more, you pout and lean your weeping sex into his covered cock.
You know why he is unhappy. It has been weeks since your last meeting thanks to your family of hunters that you have to keep as far away from your relationship as possible. One wrong move and everything you have built brick by brick in convincing your father that you had broken things off with the golden haired beast that loomed over you would come tumbling down. You furrow your eyebrows in an earnest manner, trying to get him to understand. It is not like you like being away from him.
Eric finally relents, for now, when his thick cock twitches inside his pants and he leans down to lick his mark on you again, distastefully grunting at how it has healed from when he last had you.
Your eyes flutter close from the feeling. Need sparks to life in your torso and snakes its way down your spine before spreading over your loins and dying into the mess you've made between your legs. Blood pumps through your ears in anticipation of what is going to come any second now. The faint clink of Eric's belt coming undone sounds somewhere in your lust stricken stupor and you bite your lip at the same time your ancient lover copies your action except into the delicate skin of your neck.
“Ah!” Is all you can let out as you feel his thick fangs slide into the patchiness of the ditched they created into your flesh a while back. The feeling of him tearing into you has you releasing more slick. You feel your cunt ache and your hole blinks from the way the suckling of his lips makes your head spin.
Eric places his stiff tip against your opening with his free hand while still feeding on you, taking his sweet time and savoring your taste. You whine out again and your gaping pussy tries to retract defensively. Your cruel lover refuses to prepare you today, it seems. And while it doesn't really surprise you because he tends to do that as a way of exercising his ire on your tight little cunt on days like today, it hurts nevertheless.
Besides, your pussy is way too small to take his cock as is.
His groan into your skin makes your whole being reverberate as your eyes roll to the back of your head. Eric detaches his lips from your skin at last to let out a grunt when your stubborn opening keeps refusing him access, instead causing his tip to glide off over and over.
You try your best to will your entrance to take him, but your tiny band is a brat, as Eric likes to call it.
“I wonder what your proud father would say if he saw his prodigal daughter like this” Eric's broad shoulders shake from his bitter mirth as he enjoys the pained expression on your face when he moves back on his knees and forces you to slide down his hard shaft. “Mouth covered in her own blood and pussy clamped around the cock of his arch nemesis…” Your back arched as your petals hit the skin of his balls and his cock twitched deep inside your velvet cavern. “Mind too stupid for any dignified resolve” his long fingers gently stroked the strands covering your face away. “Do you want any such resolve, little one?”
A whimper escapes you when he snatches one of your hips in one hand and snakes his other arm around your back to lift you up and against him. Your pussy clenches when your eyes meet and you moan when he presses his blood covered lips to yours again, smearing the metallic liquid into your mouth with his tongue. It only makes you slot your trapped arms around his neck before you pull him closer.
“N- No, Eric! O- Only—” the vehemence with which you shook your head was a humiliating one for a sober person. “Only you!” You screamed out as he lifted you off his cock, your pussy squelching soundly in the process, before slamming you down on his sack again.

summary: 1.3k
You’d had vampire blood. Pam and Chow had been gracious enough to offer you their wrists months after you’d started working at Fangtasia, a safety precaution as they’d claimed. You'd had Eric's blood. He could feel your fear, he knew where you were, why wasn't he coming?
or the one where eric saves you from an anti-vampire rights enthusiast.
warnings: canon-typical violence, blood, death, kidnapping, stabbing
a/n: i know i said drabbles but i couldn't contain myself. i am violently ill with my love for this man.
masterlist | taglist
You think you're dying. surely. There's no way the human body would be able to endure this much pain without ultimately giving up the ghost, right?
You never should have gotten involved with vampires. They were nothing but a bucket of trouble, as your mother would have put it. And has she had put it, a multitude of times, before she'd ever even known you'd applied to work at Shreveport's resident vampire bar.
What she didn't know, though, was how incredible they could be. How, even without all their supernatural abilities, intensely good they could be when they decided they wanted. How loyal and caring and kind when they chose to do so. Just how beautiful they could be, fangs and all.
‘Course, there still was that whole bucket of trouble thing.
"You sure are pretty for a fangbanger," your captor drawled from where he was watching you from across the room. He'd tied you to a chair at the center of it, thick scratchy ropes binding your wrists to the unlaquered wood beneath you. You spit, knowing that it won't reach the man from this distance, but hoping, almost willing it to hit him squarely between the eyes.
“Fuck you,” you say.
“Ooh,” he whistles. “You’ve sure got a mouth on you, sweet cheeks. Why waste it on one of those dead fuckers when you could have someone with an actual, bleeding fucking heart?”
“You’re a waste of skin, you piece of shit,” you huff. Not that it was any of his goddamn business, anyway, but you had only ever slept with one man, and it sure as shit hadn’t been one of your bosses.
“Aw, c’mon. I bet you get so cold after one of them vampers is inside you, don’t you. All icy and chilly like. Let me give you a little tip, sweetheart. Humans. Need. Warmth.”
“You say that as if you aren’t a fucking sad sack,” you say. “What a sorry excuse for a human, huh?”
“What’d they do to you, huh, girl? Did they glamor you into only wanting a dead man’s dick?” he asks, slowly shifting and standing from his stool so that he could approach you. Despite their constant–and half-hearted–threats, you’d never been glamored by your vampire coworkers. Your breathing shakes as he approaches in swift steps. It’s then that you see the knife in his hand.
For the first time in a long time, you realize, genuine fear strikes through you.
“I’m gonna teach those vampers a lesson,” he says. “And you’re going to help me do that.”
You’d had vampire blood. Pam and Chow had been gracious enough to offer you their wrists months after you’d started working at Fangtasia, a safety precaution as they’d claimed. You'd had Eric's blood. He could feel your fear, he knew where you were, why wasn't he coming?
The knife trails along your collarbone. You're glad it was as dull as it was, knowing if it'd been sharper it would be slicing the skin open in its path down. Then he presses down harder. You can’t muffle the whine as it escapes you, no matter how much you want to. No matter how desperately you wish to not show the man that he holds any power over you. You can feel the blood seeping out of the wound. It dribbles down your chest in a thick stream as it pools and stains the gray cotton of your t-shirt.
“Stop!” you plead. He chuckles before driving the blade deeper into you. With feeble force, you try to get him off with a stunted kick to his knee; It was all you could manage with the way your knees had been duct-taped together.
“Bitch!” he heaves before rearing back to slap you with the bladeless hand. It slashes your cheek, shallowly, thankfully, but you can feel the ache of where his hand had connected with your cheekbone. “You’re gonna regret that.”
He takes the knife and stabs it into your side, just narrowly missing your ribcage.
Before you can manage out even a wince, the door to the small shack you’d been held in for the last few hours splinters and it unceremoniously removed from its hinges.
Eric says nothing as he rushes in. You barely register that it’s him save for the split second image you’d captured from where he’d lingered in the doorway. Your captor is off of you instantly, though you’re still bound to the chair. Eric stills. Wind warps around him as he does so, wrapping him in a flurry of movement as he stands with the man locked in his grasp.
“You never should have fucking touched her,” Eric growls with his fangs fully extended, grip tightening around the burly man’s neck and raising him inches off the ground. There’s not even a hint of the usual smirk you were so accustomed to seeing. “Every single mark on her body will be returned unto you tenfold.”
“She fucking deserved it,” he gargles as the vampire latches onto the expanse of neck not currently held within his hand. The man screams out in anguish and you pull your eyes tight to avoid watching any more. Of course, that doesn’t stop you from hearing. The screams and the rips and the crunches. You hear something hard and solid hit the floor and somewhere deep in the pit of your stomach you know it’s bone.
You hear the man gasp out a dead fuck only for Eric’s grasp to tighten fully, effectively severing the man’s skull from his spinal chord without detaching it from his body. The man drops to the floor with a loud thump and Eric shoves the corpse away with the toe of his shoe before he moves toward you.
“What took you so long?” you exhaled as he moved behind you to unbind your wrists.
“I was away on business,” he gruffs, spitting slightly to get the last of the man’s blood out of his mouth. He’d already drunk his fair share, you thought, what good what that do?
Swallowing, you ask, “And you still came?”
He walks back around to begin undoing the restraints on your legs. He’s being so gentle, you realize. If he’d wanted, he could have had this done within seconds and yet, here he was, tenderly undoing the tape and rope and rubbing a soothing hand over the abraded skin.
“I’ll always come for you,” he says. “Until I meet the true death, I will always come for you.”
He extends his wrist up to his mouth and you wince as he punctures the flesh.
“Eric,” you sigh.
“Drink,” he says.
Nodding, you allow him to bring his wrist to your mouth and latch down on the leaking wound. It’s tangy and metallic and overall pretty gross, but you’re more than grateful for it at that moment. You lick your lips when he pulls his arm back down, the small bite marks already well on their way to closing completely.
“Will you take me home?” you ask, suddenly overwhelmed with the wave of fatigue hitting you.
He rises back to his full height and extends a hand out towards you. The second you grab it, he’s pulling you up from your chair to hold you flush against his form. Then, in another rush of wind, you’re standing on your front porch.
Slowly, you pull away from the vampire to take a step towards your door. Your body aches, but it’s already mostly healed as you run a hand over the small incision at your waist.
“Thank you,” you say. “Eric.”
He’s silent, looking you over in a way that you can’t help but think is more than just an assessment of your injuries. He settles on your eyes when he says, “Anytime.”

"Fangtasia? really?" I snort glancing at the boys beside me.
"Leeches with a sense of humor.. great." Dean grumbles.
"So much for mainstreaming, Louisiana has one of the highest disappearance rates in the country... 346 people in this last month alone. You and I both know what really happened to them." Sam says looking at the news article on his cellphone.
"And you're sure we're going to find help here?" Dean asked in disbelief.
"I mean there has to be some sort of order to things, even for vampires.'" I shrugged.
"And since we're not scoring a date with the vampire queen , one of her pawns should work just fine." Sam said as I watched the eager humans line up to get in to the famous vampire bar.
It's been years now since vampires exposed themselves to the world.
Of course we already knew of their existence.
However, with the invention of synthetic blood the vamps decided they wanted to become part of society, mainstream they call it.
It took the world by storm.
People were lining up to meet and more disgustingly volunteer to get bitten by a vampire.
It was sickening.
As you can imagine this did not go over well with the hunting community.
It was a question on everyone's mind.
Could vamps really change?
Could they be functioning members of a society?
In Louisiana the answer was no.
"I still don't like this." Dean growled as we took our place in line for entrance to the bar.
"No one does, but we have to try to work out some sort of treaty, some sort of peace between us and them, too many people are dying." Sam said.
Oh Sammy.
As if peace between vampires and humans was possible.
We were a meal to them, nothing more.
I could feel Dean's anxiety pushing in to me, making me anxious.
I grabbed his hand giving it a reassuring squeeze. He was quick to lace our fingers together pulling me closer to him.
He instantly calmed a bit.
Dean and I had an interesting relationship.
Sam, he was like my annoying little brother.
But not Dean.
Dean and I shared a connection that went deeper.
He and I just got each other.
We weren't what you would call a thing though.
A hunter's life didn't afford us that privilege.
I knew that no matter what we would always look out for each other and if something were to happen to one of us, the other would never be the same.
It was a terrifying feeling in our line of work, since a brush with death was a daily occurrence for us.
As we got closer to the door I slipped my hand from Dean's.
I could see a lady at the door taking ID's, and from her too straight posture and her perfect looks I could tell she was one of them.
I had seen a vampire or two in my lifetime so they were easy for me to spot.
I felt the air shift as we got closer, causing me to pull my leather jacket tighter around my body.
"ID." she ordered extending her perfectly manicured hand towards me, her eyes focused elsewhere.
I sized her up, trying to guess her age. If I had to I'd say definitely over 100 years old.
She looked experienced, which is how you could tell a vampire's true age.
After a moment of stillness she finally glanced up meeting my eyes.
She glared at me, as if I was beneath her.
I simply stared back at her.
She flashed her fangs willing me to fall at her feet in submission.
I could feel Dean tense behind me, ready to pounce if needed.
"ID." She ordered once again with a southern drawl.
I gave her a forced smile, pulling out a fake ID card.
If she knew it was fake, she didn't say anything, just let me pass. Sam and Dean were let in without showing ID much to my annoyance.
As soon as we were past the rope, the woman at the door disappeared.
I could smell the stench of sex, sweat, and booze as the doors to the bar opened.
If I thought the name was ridiculous, the inside was even more ridiculous. It was decorated in reds and blacks, really selling the vampire theme.
I scoffed at the patrons who were clad in leather and lace. It was like they were proud to be flaunting their flesh for the bloodsuckers.
Perhaps though the most ridiculous and tacky thing was the throne in the middle of the stage overlooking the bar.
My eyes traveled up the throne before connecting with a pair of icy blue ones.
Suddenly it was as if I was being pulled into some sort of trance.
His eyes boring into my own.
I quickly broke eye contact taking a moment to take in his other features.
A mess of blonde locks lay on his head.
His jaw perfectly defined along with his other facial features.
His hands that were gripping the arm rests of the throne, large and lethal.
He was frighteningly tall, even taller than Sam, and he was basically Bigfoot.
It was however the smirk that played on his lips that made my blood boil.
He knew what I was, just as I knew what he was.
A vampire.
Just the pawn we were looking for.
I noticed the perfect blonde woman from the door suddenly at his side, leaning over and whispering in his ear.
I could see her glance in our direction.
She was trying to be discreet but I was on to her.
She was warning him.
Warning him about us.
I didn't get to see anything else as Dean pulled me towards a booth in the back.
I took this moment to study the people.
It was sickening seeing so many vampires and humans mingling like they weren't bloodthirsty monsters, and the humans eager to be their next meal.
"So I think the big blonde guy is who we need to talk to." Sam said looking between me and Dean.
I rolled my eyes.
Is he serious right now?
"Really Sam what gave you that idea huh? The throne in the middle of the stage? The way all the other vampires flock to him? Or, or maybe it’s the fact that he's glaring daggers at us right about now." I sassed feeling the blonde's eyes burning me from behind.
"Okay so what's the plan then, I don't think he's going to talk to us willingly." Dean said ignoring my attitude.
"Well maybe not us." Sam said pointing between himself and Dean.
Dean looked around seeing the blonde man's eyes devouring my form.
"No absolutely not." Dean interjected quickly.
"Dean, it may be our only shot I seemed to have peaked his interest." I said turning my body fully towards him.
"We can figure something else out then, this is reckless and you know that." Dean growled.
"I know but I don't think we have that kind of time, people are dying Dean, people we swore to protect." I shot back.
"Yeah well I swore to protect you." Dean gutted.
"So then protect me." I said rising from my seat.
Dean was not happy, that much was evident on his face. I couldn't focus on that right now though. I was doing this.
I took a deep breath straightening out my jacket.
I slowly approached the throne, center stage.I could see people eyeing me with envy. I was only focused on the vamp, whose eyes grew more curious the closer I got.
I was about to take another step but was halted by another man, who I could tell was also a vampire.
"Sorry no one speaks to Mr. Northman without his permission." He growled at me.
I suppressed the urge to roll my eyes at this.
Who the hell did this vamp think he was, god?
"Chow, let her through." A strong voice spoke.
It didn't take me long to figure out it came from the vampire on the throne.
The man grumbled something under his breath before stepping to the side.
I took another deep breath striding in front of the blonde man.
"Mr. Northman I presume?"
"Please, call me Eric, and who do I have the pleasure of speaking with?" He smirked.
I thought for a minute if I should make up some fake name.
"And mind you I can tell if you're lying." He added, somehow reading my thoughts.
"y/n." I offered only my first name.
"What I can I do for you y/n?" He asked interested, as if I was going to offer him my neck.
"I think you know why we're here." I stated crossing my arms in front of myself as if it would put more distant between me and Eric.
"Yes unfortunately , it was only a matter of time before you hunters showed up."
"We wouldn't have to if you leeches kept yourselves in check." I bit back quickly.
"Well aren't you sweet." Eric smirked.
"Yeah not really."
I knew I should probably watch my tongue in a bar full of vampires. However, when my anger got the best of me, I couldn’t control the things that spilled from my lips.
"You have no idea who you're talking to do you?" Eric laughed, standing to his full height.
He towered over my short stature easily.
I wouldn't let him intimidate me though which is exactly what he was trying to do.
"So enlighten me then Mr. Northman."
"I'm a thousand year old viking darling, I'm not threatened by you or anyone for that matter."
"I'm not here to threaten you, I'm here to help you." I retorted quickly, acting unfazed by the declaration of his true age.
My statement resulted in another laugh from the viking vampire.
"Help me? Now what in that pretty little head of yours makes you think I need, or want your help." He whispered menacingly, clearly trying to threaten me.
I would have been a little more afraid had I not noticed the slight crease in his eyebrows as he spoke.
He was worried about something.
My guess, pressure from his boss to solve his little vampire problem.
Order.
Creatures couldn't function without it.
I couldn't fight the smirk that made it's way to my face.
"I think you're worried, 346 bodies is a lot of bodies to hide, I mean we know that they didn’t really disappear did they? Also isn't it your job to keep all these vampires in line? I'm guessing a bunch of rogue vampires going on a killing spree doesn’t exactly fair well with your boss." I taunted.
I knew I pushed it too far when his fangs popped out with a click.
He quickly wrapped a hand around my throat causing Dean to shoot up, pulling out his gun loaded with ultraviolet emitting bullets.
If Eric saw him, he was completely unfazed by his actions.
I gave Dean a look, telling him to wait before he starts blindly shooting in a room full of vampires.
I could handle myself well, Dean knew as much.
“Don’t you tell me how to do my job.” he growled his hand squeezing a little tighter around my throat.
"Do your job then." I spat, pushing him a little further.
Eric then looked deeply in my orbs as his glazed over.
He spoke in an enchanting voice.
"Now you and your little gang of hunters are going to leave my bar, but before you go, you're going to let me taste you while your boyfriend over there watches me."
I knew what he was trying to do.
He was trying to what they call "glamor" me.
Get in my head.
Control me and my thoughts.
No man controls me.
"No offense Mr. Northman but you're not really my type." I managed to squeak out, his hand still squeezing my throat.
Eric quickly released my neck with a confused look.
"Why can't I glamor you?" He growled in frustration.
I quickly turned around, pulling my shirt up slightly so he could see the anti-possession tattoo in the center of my spine.
"Turns out this isn’t just for demons, works for your mind tricks too. Eric this is my final offer, let us help you or we're gonna handle things our way, and then you'll have a lot more bodies to dispose of. We’ll be in town, it’s your choice." I threatened before turning away from the vampire.
I could tell he didn't take kindly to my threats but he didn't retaliate surprisingly, given his nature.
I could see the relief wash over Dean's face as I returned to his side.
"Looks like we aren't getting his help, let's go." I said knowing full well Eric could still hear me.
Dean tucked his gun away roughly grabbing my hand and pulling me out of the bar.
I could tell by his face that he was trying his best not to explode.
He was irate.
As soon as we were in the impala the floodgates opened and all hell let loose.
"Wow you've done a lot of stupid shit in the past but that has to be the most fucked thing you've ever done, what the hell were you thinking?" Dean growled.
I wasn't sure if it was directed at Sam for suggesting I talk to Eric alone or me for actually doing it.
“Dean come on it’s…” Sam started but Dean quickly cut him off.
“Stay out of this Sam.” Dean growled.
I guess now I knew it was directed at me.
“You can’t be serious right now?” I scoffed at his behavior.
“He could have snapped you like a twig, you gave him every opportunity.” Dean snapped.
I knew this was his way of saying he was worried about me but l didn’t like how he was going about it.
“I can handle myself.” I said with an eye roll.
“I mean what was your plan exactly? Badmouth him until he sinks his fangs in to your neck? You had no plan going up there, that was so irresponsible.” Dean continued.
“Yeah well he didn’t hurt me did he?” I scoffed.
“Your lucky he didn’t, you just act without thinking about the consequences.” He retorted.
“Yeah well sometimes you think too much and don’t act.”
“At least you don’t have to continuously save my ass!” He growled.
“Ugh would you stop treating me like a child!” I said my voice rising along with my anger.
“I will when you stop acting like one!” Dean yelled.
I rolled my eyes again, sinking back in to the seat. I was done talking about this. It was no use anyways.
I knew Eric wouldn’t hurt me.
I don’t know how I knew, I just did. He wouldn’t admit it but he needed our help.
I was extremely thankful to be pulling in to the motel parking lot. I jumped out of the car before Dean could bring it to a complete stop, slamming the door in a fit.
I could hear Dean throwing open his door and quickly striding up to catch me.
“We are not done talking about this.” He growled grabbing my wrist.
“I am.” I seethed snatching my wrist from him.
I walked in to my separate motel room, slamming the door in his face.
God!
Dean didn’t usually yell at me, I had no idea where all this was coming from.
"Fuck!" I screamed, before quickly stripping my clothes wanting to wash away this evening and everything it brought.
I turned on the shower, steam instantly filling the bathroom.
I stepped in, the hot water relaxing my tense muscles.
What the hell was up with Dean?
Why was he acting so, so possessive?
He knew I was strong enough to handle my own, yet he was treating me as if I were some stupid kid walking in to the lions den unprepared.
I knew how to kill vampires, this wasn’t my first rodeo.
I was angrily scrubbing my body and hair, too caught up in my thoughts that I didn’t hear my motel room door opening, or the bathroom door for that matter.
I washed the shampoo from my hair before noticing Dean’s presence. It made me jump but only momentarily. He was standing on the other side of the shower curtain, his shoulders slumped over.
“I said I was done talking about it Dean.” I bit quickly.
I was expecting him to start yelling at me again, tell me how stupid I was being, but Dean didn’t say anything instead just stayed quiet.
"Dean?" I asked softening my tone.
Dean was never quiet.
Only when he was in his head about something.
Like I said we just got each other.
It was a moment before he spoke.
“You have no idea how worried I was for you, fuck y/n why do you care so little about your life when to me it’s everything?” Dean said, his voice being overtaken with emotion.
My breathing stilled at his words. I felt tears gather in the corners of my eyes.
Dean wasn’t the vulnerable type, never admitting how he was truly feeling, but here he was laying it all out.
Before thinking I flung open the shower curtain looking at him. His eyebrows were creased with worry and hurt.
I suddenly felt extremely guilty.
I didn’t want to hurt him.
That was the last thing I wanted to do.
Dean was my person.
I jumped out and flung my arms around him, soaking his t-shirt. He didn't seem to mind much as he wrapped his strong arms around me holding me tightly to his body.
I buried my head in the crook of his neck, allowing a few tears to cascade down my cheeks. His hand found its way to the back of my head stroking my wet hair.
“I’m sorry Dean.” I spoke quietly.
Dean’s hand traveled down to the back of my neck, pulling my head up so he could look in my eyes.
Dean and I didn't need words to convey our feelings.
Our eyes alone did just that.
I could feel the heat spreading to my core as his eyes devoured me hungrily.
Dean and I didn't cross this line often.
In fact only once before.
It was a dangerous line to be flirting with.
But in this moment, I didn't care.
Dean didn't either, for a moment later he was crashing his lips on mine.
His lips had a petal softness to them, but he kissed like a man that had been starved for months.
I balled his t-shirt in my fists pulling him impossibly closer. Dean's hand gripped my neck harder as if I was about to float away and he was the only thing holding me down.
I broke away but only briefly to suck in a harsh breath.
Dean pulled me back in again, devouring my lips.
He kissed me as if I was oxygen and he was dying to breathe.
I couldn't help the breathless moans that fell from my lips as I felt Dean's trapped erection on my already burning center.
I wanted more.
Needed more.
"Dean." I panted, hoping he would catch on.
Dean didn't bother teasing. He picked me up quickly kicking the bathroom door open, before gently placing me on the run down motel bed.
He was quick to dispose of his shirt.
I trailed my eyes down his body.
Dean was the kind of handsome that got into my bones, that spoke to me before he'd even said a word.
I licked my lips as I admired him.
I sat up on the bed, not being able to stop my self from placing my lips on his perfectly chiseled jaw. He let out a guttural sound as my tongue worked down to his neck, kissing and sucking, marking him as mine.
He quickly disposed of his jeans, freeing himself at last. He gently pushed me back down hovering his body over mine.
Dean looked at me as if he applied too much pressure I might break.
He trailed his hand down my body painfully slow, stopping to brush gently over my aching core. I sucked in my bottom lip to try to stop the needy whine that wished to escape but I was too late.
I needed to feel him, all of him.
Dean leaned down once again kissing my lips tenderly.
"I promise." Dean whispered pulling away gently.
I shook my head in confusion.
"Promise?" I breathed out.
"I promise to make up for all the years I was supposed to be kissing you." Dean rasped.
I felt my eyes prickle with tears.
I grabbed his head bringing his lips back to my own.
I don't think I'll ever get over the feeling I get when kissing Dean, it was warm, it was safe, it was everything I needed, because with Dean, sometimes kissing felt like healing.
Dean grabbed his erection, slowly rubbing his tip up and down my folds, torturing me with pleasure.
He grunted pushing himself through my slickness all without breaking our hungry kiss.
Dean thrusted at a tortuously slow pace, hitting my sweet spot with every movement. Dean buried his head into my neck, heavenly groans fell from his lips.
I moaned a little louder with each slow thrust.
I couldn't take anymore, I rolled my hips up meeting his.
Dean pushed himself even deeper, causing a sensual whine out of me.
"So pretty when you're whining for me."
I could barely think straight from the fire burning in my veins. I closed my eyes digging my nails slightly in to his skin.
“Oh fuck Dean right there.” I moaned feeling my orgasm making itself known.
I could feel myself clenching around him causing him to cry out in pleasure.
“Good girl baby, cum for me.” Dean whispered in a husky voice.
His tone and praise alone was enough to have me soaking his length, my walls contracting all around him.
Dean began to thrust harder and faster, chasing his own orgasm. When his rhythm became sloppy I knew he was close.
Dean gave one last deep thrust before I felt white hot spurts of liquid coating my still sensitive walls.
Just when I thought Dean couldn’t get more attractive, here he was looking like a god as he groaned, riding out his orgasm.
I could cum again just from the sight of it.
Dean slowly removed himself, satisfied when his seed spilled out coating my thighs.
"I think you're gonna need another shower." Dean smirked.
Yep.
Dean was back.
I was about to make my usual snarky comment but a loud knocking on the door got my attention.
I thought it might be Sam coming to check on me, he has been on the receiving end of Dean’s wrath more than once.
I threw on a shirt and some sleep shorts before peeling the door open slowly.
I was not prepared to see Eric Northman behind it.
"You know for hunters you really need to cover your tracks better, wasn't all that hard to track you down, not with that sweet aroma you carry around." Eric smirked pompously.
I could hear Dean shuffling as he rushed putting his clothes back on.
He was suddenly at my side ripping the door open and glaring down the viking vampire in front of me.
It was the first time I saw them toe to toe.
Eric was definitely taller but Dean was unfazed by his size.
Dean was nothing to mess with either. He was lethal in his own right, and had more blood on his hands then he liked to think about.
"Now if you're done fucking your play thing, I'd like to talk." Eric said completely ignoring Dean’s threatening demeanor.
I felt the blood rush to my cheeks.
Oh god he heard that?
Of course he did, fucking super hearing ability.
"I think that opportunity has passed, we're no longer interested." Dean growled slamming the door but Eric’s vampire speed won out and he caught it seamlessly.
"If you could do me a favor sweets and calm your guard dog here, I believe you and I can help each other." Eric said once again ignoring Dean completely.
"I thought you said you didn't need or want my help?" I finally spoke, feeling my anger rising again.
"Oh don't be smug, it's humbling enough having to come to a breather for help." Eric said rolling his eyes.
I could feel Dean stiffen beside me.
He didn't trust Eric that much was obvious.
I didn't trust him either.
I was realistic though, and I knew our odds would be better with him on our side instead of in our way.
"Hypothetically speaking of course, let's say I was still interested in helping you, what then?" I inquired.
Dean growled from beside me.
“Excuse us for a moment." Dean said through clenched teeth, shutting the door, this time Eric allowing him to.
Dean sucked in a sharp breath preparing his lecture but I quickly cut him off before he could deliver it.
"Look before you yell, let's be realistic here, I think we're in way over our heads and having Eric on our side instead of in our way is an asset, even if I don't trust him, keep your enemies closer right?"
Dean's eyebrows furrowed knowing he couldn't argue with my logic.
"You were mad before because I didn't have plan, this time I do." I promised.
Dean placed a gentle hand to my cheek pulling my lips to his.
He knew Eric would be listening behind the door.
He wanted to make it known I was his.
I would definitely have to unpack this situation later.
Dean removed his lips resting his forehead on mine.
"Fine we can talk." Dean reluctantly agreed.
I gave him a small smile as I opened the door, seeing Eric standing there looking completely uninterested in Dean's show of affection.
"So then let's talk." I said nodding my head at Eric.
"Just you, no offense but I don’t think your guard dog will fit in with where we’re going, also you might want to shower first, if you’re going to be with me I can’t have you smelling of another man, and one more tip try not to look so much like a hunter, I’ll be back in thirty.” Eric ordered before speeding away.
“Fuck this, no way in hell am I letting you go anywhere alone with him.” Dean said.
“The idea doesn’t thrill me either but I’m just going to need you to trust me.” I said quickly going towards the bathroom.
Dean didn’t say anything instead followed behind me sulking. He shed his clothes stepping in the shower after me.
He huffed pouting as he took his hand washing his seed away from my body. I moaned as his fingers dipped in my folds cleansing me.
“I can trust you if you promise me you won’t do anything reckless, I couldn’t live with myself if you got hurt and I wasn’t there to help.” Dean said.
I quickly turned around facing him.
“I promise you Dean, nothing reckless.” I said standing on my toes to place a soft kiss to his mouth.
I finished washing myself quickly, then stepped out and towel dried myself.
I looked in my suitcase trying to find clothes that didn’t scream hunter. I settled for a sundress, this made me look more innocent, more naive.
Exactly thirty minutes later on the dot their was another harsh knock at the door. I took a deep breath opening it. Eric stood smirking behind it, clearly trying to provoke Dean. He let his eyes drift up and down my form very noticeably.
“If I didn’t know any better I would say you almost look normal.” Eric joked, that ever present cocky smile still on his face.
Dean wrapped a protective arm around me.
“I swear if you fucking hurt her..” Dean started but Eric cut him off.
“Down boy, she’ll be fine, besides I already ate this evening, though I wouldn’t say no to some dessert.” Eric taunted him.
I rolled my eyes at the pair.
I quickly turned around grabbing Deans shirt bringing him in for a feverish kiss.
Dean smirked in to the kiss hearing Eric sigh in annoyance.
I pulled away letting a hand linger on his cheek.
“I’ll be back.” I assured.
I turned towards Eric ignoring the arm he offered me.
“Well after you.” I gestured.
I saw the the expensive bugatti now parked outside my motel room.
A little over the top I thought, although I guess when you’ve been alive for so long your wealth is vast.
Eric smirked at Dean as he opened the passenger door gesturing for me to get in.
I gave Dean one more soft look before climbing in.
Eric zipped around clambering in the drivers seat. He peeled out of the motel at inhuman speed, making me grip the seat.
“So are you going to tell me where we’re going?” I asked annoyed.
“A tribunal meeting.” Eric simply answered.
“A what?”
“You people really don’t know anything do you?” He jabbed.
“Look if that’s how this is going to be you can just take me back.” I said rolling my eyes.
“You know your cute when you pout.” Eric laughed.
I rolled my eyes again ignoring his flirtatious comment. He was trying to get under my skin, and he was doing a damn good job at it.
“Listen just stay close to me, and don’t talk to anyone but me.” Eric said glancing at me.
“Eric..”
“No this is serious okay, for me to keep you safe you have to listen to me.” He said.
I glanced at his eyes, and for a moment just a moment I saw some of what I believed to be sincerity. It made him almost seem…. human.
“Fine.” I grumbled.
He pulled in to a field in the middle of nowhere.
I really wasn’t thrilled with this idea now.
I took a deep breath feeling the silver dagger Dean slipped in to the waistband of my underwear. It wasn’t much but it could help me out, give me some leverage.
Eric got out zipping around to open my door.
I got out of the car looking fully at the scene.
There were a few other vampires there, most looked pretty ancient. It wasn’t their looks per say, but their demeanor, the way they carried themselves.
I saw a few humans too, one vampire was openly feeding on a girls neck. If I had eaten I was sure it would come back up at the sight. The worst part is the girl moaned as if she was enjoying it.
Eric smirked as he wrapped an arm around my waist leading me towards the group of vampires.
"Remember what I said, be a good breather and keep quiet." Eric said.
"Fuck you." I cursed under my breath knowing full well Eric would hear me.
Eric's presence instantly got the attention of a man dressed in an expensive suit.
"Eric welcome, and who is this lovely thing you've brought with you, she smells delectable."
"Easy now magister, she's mine." Eric said.
His?
Oh hell no!
"Yours the fu.." I started but Eric quickly clamped his hand on my mouth.
"My apologies sir, quite the mouth she got on her, though it does come in handy." Eric joked.
I nipped at his hand covering my mouth as if telling him he was really pushing it.
"If you'll excuse us sir.." Eric said leading me away from the man.
As soon as he took his hand off my mouth, I raised my hand to strike him but he quickly caught it.
"Yours? What the fuck was that!? I am not now, nor will I ever be yours!" I growled.
"It's my way of protecting you, it's an unspoken rule for vampires that we can't harm or feed from another vampires claimed human, now that I openly claimed you, nobody can touch you or they have to deal with me."
I was still pissed at him but I shook my head in understanding.
"These guys, they're the authority?"
"Well sort of, we work for them, that guy was the magister, the judge of my kind, if you will. The others are area sheriffs like myself, we keep order in our area, and we're all here to talk about our little problem." Eric explained.
"And the humans are privileged to this information?" I questioned.
"No, you’re here to satiate us, but it doesn't matter what they hear they'll just be glamoured to forget, but since you can't be glamoured you better be good at acting." Eric said.
I nodded my head finally understanding.
I would be the only human to remember this meeting.
He was giving me information, leverage.
Eric was about to say something else when the magister cleared his throat getting the attention of all vampires present.
"Now stay close to me, and for fuck's sake act like you can stand to be near me." Eric whispered once again wrapping a cold arm around my waist.
I knew if Dean were here right now he'd be furious at Eric for even daring to touch me in such an intimate matter.
In fact Dean would probably kill him first and ask questions later.
Eric was right, Dean definitely wouldn't have fit in here.
I didn't fit in here.
I grumbled, leaning in to Eric's side, cozying up to him.
I had to pretend.
It might kill me.
But I had to pretend.
I could feel Eric's stupid smirk without seeing it.
"Stop enjoying this." I growled causing a chuckle to fall from his lips.
"Sheriffs, it's great to see you, unfortunately I wish it could be under better circumstances. You all have been gathered here because as you know your state has managed to gain the attention of the authority, and I can tell you they aren't happy. You were put in a position to keep order, lay low, push the movement along, so please someone tell me why it's a goddamn circus out here?" The guy who I now know as the magister yelled.
I could feel Eric tense beside me, his arm getting a little tighter around me.
I could tell the magister was in a significant position of power even without Eric telling me so.
"Sir it's the newborns, they're insatiable, unsupervised." One vamp spoke up.
"And who's fault is that, isn't it your job to handle problem vampires?"
"You wish us to kill our own’s progeny's?" Another quipped.
"Do you dare defy my order?" The magister threatened.
"No sir."
I was taking in all the new information.
It seemed that new vampires were being made, "progeny's" and being left unsupervised after their creation.
It was not only reckless, it was cruel.
"Well maybe the humans have it coming, all they've ever done is hunt us down and lynch us." A vampire beside us spoke.
I glance at him.
He was tall, not as tall as Eric but tall none the less.
He clearly thought he was holier then thou.
I guess he hadn’t come face to face with hunters yet.
"I mean we do kind of deserve it." Eric spoke, surprising me a great deal.
I didn't think he was capable of any compassion towards what he calls “breathers.”
"Wow I can't believe my ears, Eric Northman, the ruthless viking prince suddenly gets himself a human bitch and now he's mr. mainstream?" The vampire spoke turning and taking a step towards us.
Eric let out a warning growl.
"I would watch your next words sheriff, I’m not known for my patience." Eric said baring his fangs.
His hold on me got tighter, if that were possible, I was already trapped against his body as it was.
I could feel the tensions rising as both vampires hissed at each other.
I took my hand squeezing Eric's.
I was surprised when I felt him calm slightly.
It was a simple gesture that always worked for Dean, and seemingly Eric too.
It was a little way of wordlessly saying “I’m here, I got you.”
"ENOUGH both of you! Eric’s right, we all knew coming out of the coffin there would be risks involved, if you can't keep order the authority will come and eradicate your regions."
Eradicate?
As in kill them all?
I was all for killing vampires, but that seems a little excessive.
I worried for Eric.
Wait.
What the fuck am I saying?
I don't worry about vampires.
Vampires are nothing but killing machines.
They don’t have feelings.
Or do they?
I don’t know what I believed anymore in this moment.
"With all due respect magister this is complete bullshit." the previous vampire spoke again.
I could see the magister getting visibly angry.
"We are apex predators, the top of the food chain, and you expect us to just lay down and take it from a bunch of blood bags?" He continued.
I could feel myself getting heated at his words.
He was the epitome of the vampires we killed.
No regard for human life whatsoever.
"We don’t take it, we learn to control ourselves there’s a difference." The magister corrects.
He was all about pushing the mainstreaming movement along, that much was clear, but he could care less about humans as long as all killings and feedings were done in secrecy and done so as not to draw too much attention.
He was just another two faced authoritarian, pushing something he could care less about.
"You and the authority are out of your goddamn minds if you think..." He started.
In an instant the magister zipped over to him, producing a wooden stake before driving it straight through the vampires heart. The vampire exploded sending guts flying everywhere.
Eric quickly turned us around so I wasn’t hit by the debris but he was.
I let out a shaking breath as blood splattered the side of his face.
I didn’t think I would be getting this close to vampire politics tonight.
I was officially over it.
Eric looked in my eyes as if assuring me everything was alright.
The magister wiped some vampire guts from his suit before turning back to everyone.
“I think we’ve all learned our lesson yes?”
No one dared to speak so the magister continued.
“You,” he said pointing at one vampire, “clean up this mess’ and you,” he said now turning to Eric who was cleaning the blood from his face, “glamor your human and then come with me.”
Eric turned to me giving me a look, guess now it was time to put on an act.
How does one even act glamoured? A mindless zombie I guessed.
He stared at me with that glazed look in his eyes, the same one from the bar. He also had something else in there, but I couldn’t quite pinpoint what it was; mischief maybe?
Next came his enchanting voice.
“y/n.”
“Yes.” I spoke quietly as if I was under his spell.
“Nothing happened here tonight, you don’t remember any other vampires being here, you don’t remember anything that was said, do you understand?” Eric ordered.
“Nothing happened here.” I repeated.
“Good…” Eric smirked pompously. “Now kiss me and wait in the car like the good little breather you are.”
I felt my insides boiling.
What the hell was he doing?
He knew I couldn’t say no to him.
It was either that or blow my cover to the magister.
I trusted my skills but not enough to take out an ancient vampire with a simple silver dagger, not while so many others were around.
I realized I was already taking too much time to think. If I didn’t act soon it was over, I was made.
I glared at Eric with furious eyes before leaning in.
He grabbed the back of my neck joining our lips.
I kissed him back with much reserve but he didn’t seem to notice.
He however kissed me gently to my surprise.
In fact he was kind of good at kissing.
What the fuck?
Shut up brain!
This was a vampire for fucks sake!
I willed the moment to be over but Eric was taking his sweet time tasting my mouth.
As we were kissing I tasted something metallic on my tongue.
I knew that taste.
Blood.
I swear if he bit me, I don’t care who’s watching I’ll kill him.
I was confused when Eric pulled away and it wasn’t my lip that was bleeding but his own.
It was his blood?
I quickly turned around walking back to his car as instructed.
I was trying to soak in all the information.
At least now we knew what we were up against.
A bunch of unsupervised baby vamps.
Great.
Eric came back moments later getting in the car. I held my breath until we were far enough away from the field before speaking my thoughts.
“I don’t understand, why are there unsupervised baby vampires allowed to run amok, they need to be taught, isn’t that a little cruel, illegal?”
“It’s unfortunate not every vampire has such a responsible maker.” Eric answered.
“And your maker?” I wondered.
I heard the vampire call Eric a viking prince, I wondered just how he came to be what he was now.
He hesitated a moment before he spoke.
“Godric, he’s gone, he saved me from dying on a battlefield.”
I scoffed a little catching his attention but kept my comment to myself, further annoying Eric.
“Go ahead, say what you want to say.” Eric pushed.
“I don’t know how he saved you, making you crave blood to survive, making you a slave to the night, making you practically immortal, I mean that has to be really lonely, eventually everyone you know will be gone and then it’ll just be you.” I said glancing at him.
“It’s a good thing I don’t care for mortals then.”
“I don’t believe that.” I quipped.
“And I don’t believe you actually hate vampires, I saw how you reacted when the magister spoke of the authority eradicating our regions.” Eric pushed back.
“About that, can they actually do that?” I asked.
If vampires had enough power to eradicate entire regions I think we had bigger problems to worry about then a bunch of baby vamps.
“Yes, they can and they will if the problem isn’t solved.” Eric said slowly pulling back in the motel parking lot.
“So what do we do about it so that doesn’t happen?” I asked turning my body towards him.
“We?”
“Just shut up, and tell me!” I said rolling my eyes at him again.
“I guess the only thing we can do, go on a hunting trip. If we can’t control them we have to eradicate them.” Eric said.
“Alright we’ll be ready then.”
“You and your dog can meet me at fangtasia tomorrow night, sunset, we’ll formulate a plan from there.” Eric nodded.
“Sunset.” I confirmed turning to get out of the car.
“Oh Eric, one more thing.” I said turning back around.
Before he could realize what was happening I balled my fist, sending it flying in to his nose. I heard a satisfying crunch as it connected.
“ If you ever trick me into kissing you again, I’ll kill you myself. I’ll see you tomorrow.” I smirked getting out of the car.
“You broke my nose!” Eric yelled out the window.
“Eh your a vampire, you’ll heal.” I shrugged, glancing once more at him.
“I know I’m a vampire but it doesn’t make it hurt any less.” He growled pushing his nose back in to position.
“Goodnight Eric.” I called one final time.
Eric rolled his eyes before peeling out of the parking lot, the sound getting Dean’s attention. He flung open the door pulling me to his chest. He inspected my body for any signs of injury but found none.
“Dean it’s okay, I’m okay.” I said placing a hand on his cheek.
I took him inside telling him everything that happened.
Well almost everything.
I left out the kissing part.
It would just further cause problems between the two, and besides I handled it.
He groaned when I told him we’d be seeing Eric tomorrow night.
He didn’t want to work with him but he agreed with me, that if we didn’t take care of this little problem we’d have a much bigger problem on our hands, i.e. an authority of ancient vampires that could eradicate entire populations.
“It’s nearly dawn, we should get some sleep.” Dean said stroking a hand through my hair.
I looked at Dean’s face, he had a slight crease in his forehead that only showed up when he was worrying about something.
“Dean what is it?” I asked.
“Who’s to say we don’t help him and then he turns right around and tries to kills us? I don’t want you caught in the crossfire.” Dean says sincerely.
“I know your worried but I don’t think he’ll try anything, he needs our help, besides he had every opportunity to kill me tonight, but he didn’t. Instead he gave us some pretty valuable information, which I’m suspecting he could get staked for if someone found out.” I said my mind traveling to the blonde haired vampire.
I had no idea why he was on my mind right now.
“Are you concerned for him?” Dean asked a look of jealousy and disgust on his face.
When I didn’t answer immediately, Dean continued.
“He’s a killer y/n, a leech, you can’t seriously be worrying about him?” Dean growled.
“I’m not.” I told a half lie.
“What is it then?” Dean pushed.
“It’s just everything might not be as black and white as we think that’s all.” I said trying to carefully chose my words.
“I mean they drink human blood to survive how is there any grey area in that?” Dean retorted.
“Some of them didn’t ask for this life, you know they thought they were being saved..” I trailed off thinking of the story Eric told me of his creation.
“It doesn’t change what they are.” Dean said.
I shrugged my shoulders. I guess he was right. At the end of the day they would still be feeding on humans to survive.
We were prey to them.
“I think we should get some sleep.” I said leaning up and pecking his lips quickly.
Dean was not satisfied with how we ended things but he didn’t push further to which I was thankful. Instead he pulled me in closer so my head was laying on his chest.
I felt the exhaustion starting to take a toll on my body, and the darkness starting to envelop me.
I reached my hand up to touch Dean but was surprised to feel the space empty.
Suddenly fingers were hooked in to my sleep shorts pulling them slowly down my legs. I groaned as lips kissed tenderly up my thigh, making my core burn with pleasure. I cast my eyes downward, meeting a pair of green ones.
“Dean.” I moaned as his head dipped down, his breath fanning over my center.
I didn’t know how Dean slipped down there without me noticing but right now I didn’t care.
Instead of devouring me like I wanted, his lips trailed back down to my thigh.
I could feel my blood pumping with need and desire.
“Beg me for it.” Dean commanded.
Didn’t need to tell me twice.
“Oh god please Dean.” I begged running my hands through his hair.
Suddenly I felt a sharp pain in my thigh.
I gasped looking down but instead of Dean, Eric was there with extended fangs, licking blood off his lips
What the fuck is going on?
Am I dreaming?
I’ve got to be dreaming.
A million questions surged through my head.
How?
When?
Why?
“Eric?” I blushed trying to hide my body from him.
“The femoral artery, like the jugular if pierced wrong can cause you to bleed out in mere minutes.” Eric said licking my thigh.
I looked down realizing blood was seeping out from too little pin pricks. I could feel my heart start to race but it wasn’t from fear… rather excitement.
What was wrong with me?
Was I turned on by this?
“It is indeed the best place to draw blood, so pleasurable and not just for me.” Eric said dipping his head back down, sinking his fangs in to my thigh.
I threw my head back with a moan as Eric drank my blood. His long fingers trailed up my thigh, dipping in to my folds that were already slick with arousal.
Oh god this was so wrong.
But it felt so good I didn’t want to stop.
But Dean?
Fuck!
As I was about to push Eric away, I felt lips against my neck, a hand trailing down my shirt to play with my hardened nipples.
I sat up a little seeing Dean now behind me.
Okay now I know I am in fact dreaming. These two can’t even be in the same room together, let alone take turns pleasuring me.
Eric removed his fangs and started to devour my core, his tongue working expertly up and down my folds.
“Oh god.” I moaned, biting my lip.
Dean trailed his fingers down further and started rubbing circles on my bundle of nerves, making my body writhe with pleasure.
“Mmm such a good girl, wouldn’t you agree Eric?” Dean whispered with a husky tone that made my legs shake.
"Mmm, the best girl.” Eric said removing his mouth from my folds momentarily before diving back in.
I felt the coil in my stomach winding tighter and tighter, begging to spring free. The sensation of Eric devouring me with his mouth while Dean worked me with his fingers was too much to bare. I was so close and then….
I sprang up, gasping for air.
The room was still dark, however sunlight started filtering through the curtains.
I guessed it was just after sunrise.
I looked to my left seeing Dean sound asleep. Eric was nowhere to be found.
“Of course not dummy, he’s dead during the day” my brain screamed at me.
I wiped the sweat from my forehead trying to calm my racing heart.
Why in the fuck would I dream of Eric pleasuring me?
Dean makes sense but Eric?
Eric?
A thousand year old vampire?
What the fuck was wrong with me!?
The worst part is he bit me, he bit me and I enjoyed it.
I deduced I was in need of some serious therapy and counseling.
I took a few deep breaths before laying back down next to Dean. I tossed and turned for what felt like hours before finally succumbing to pure exhaustion.
I woke up to a hand running through my hair. I was hesitant to open my eyes, my dream still at the forefront of my mind.
I was relieved when all I saw was Dean.
“It’s almost sunset.” Dean said placing a soft kiss to my forehead.
I groaned in response causing Dean to laugh.
“I’m not looking forward to this either.” Dean said getting out of the bed and heading towards the bathroom.
I sat up stretching my limbs. I was dreading having to face Eric after the impure dream I had about him.
I was still struggling to understand why I was dreaming about him in that way. I mean sure he was attractive, but he was a monster and I was the one who hunted him.
I didn’t realize how long I sat there in my head until Dean was coming out of the bathroom freshly showered.
I quickly collected myself so I didn't look like a mess.
Dean could NOT find out about this.
I rushed in to the bathroom turning on the cold water. I splashed my face a couple times trying to calm my shaking hands.
Fuck.
Get it together.
I stepped out getting dressed for the night. Dean was already ready to go, reloading uv bullets in both guns.
“Sam?” I asked lacing my boots.
“He’s keeping the police off our backs for now, he’ll meet up with us later.” Dean said tossing me my weapon.
I grabbed some colloidal sliver as well as a couple silver daggers.
“Alright, let’s do this.” I sighed.
Dean grabbed my hand pulling me to his chest.
“If shit goes down, you get out, and I’ll come find you.” Dean said placing a gentle hand on my cheek.
“You and I both know that isn’t happening, we’re in this together, until the end.” I said looking deeply in his eyes.
Dean leaned down capturing my lips in a passionate kiss.
I wished desperately we could just stay in this moment but that was a fairytale and our lives were anything but. It was more like a constant nightmare if you asked me.
Dean pulled away giving me a silent nod.
It didn’t take us long until we were sat in the fangtasia parking lot.
“If he tries anything, I will kill him.” Dean said pulling the safety off his gun.
“I know you will, you’ve only been chomping at the bullet to since we’ve met him.” I said mimicking his actions.
Dean shrugged knowing I wasn’t wrong. I saw the blonde lady from before opening the door. I guess that was our invitation to go in. I tucked away my gun, climbing out of the impala.
“Oh great they’re back.” The blonde lady spat sarcastically.
“It’s nice to see you again too.” I bit back.
“Pam, play nice now, these humans are here to help us.”
I gulped as soon as I heard his voice.
My mind flooded with the images of him tucked between my legs, my blood dripping off his fangs.
Dean must’ve noticed my unease. He put a hand on the small of my back giving me a reassuring pat.
I pushed past the blonde lady, Pam I now knew was her name, and I walked in to the empty bar. It sure looked a lot different with the lights on. Eric once again was sitting on his ridiculous throne. He smirked at me as soon as our eyes connected.
Dean was quick to catch up with me.
He stood so his shoulder was slightly blocking me from Eric.
“So what’s the plan?” Dean growled.
“Oh no formal introductions, straight to the point huh.” Eric taunted looking at me.
“Eric please, save the jokes, let’s get this over with.” I sighed.
“I for one had a great time last night.” Eric smirked.
I glared at him, silently telling him to shut up.
Dean didn't know about the kiss, and if he found out now, he'd kill Eric and then maybe me.
“Well except for that little part where you broke my nose.” He said.
As he said this the blonde lady flashed her fangs at me. Dean immediately shifted pulling his gun and aiming it at Pam.
“Pam stand down.” Eric commanded.
Pam was protective of him, that was abundantly clear.
I was starting to put the pieces together.
Pam was his progeny.
He created her just as Godric created him.
Dean slowly lowered his gun once there was no threat to me anymore. He gave me a incredulous look as I hadn’t told him that part of the story.
“It looks to me you healed just fine, now please let’s get on with it.” I sassed him.
“As you wish, follow me.” Eric said standing from the throne.
“Where?” Dean quickly ordered.
“What you don’t trust me?” Eric taunted him.
“I don’t trust bloodsuckers no.” Dean retorted.
“Ha, I could snap you in half in just a matter of seconds” Eric threatened.
“I’d really like to see you try, give me a reason to fry you.” Dean growled cocking his gun.
Ugh these two were incorrigible.
“Ok enough of the dick swinging contest are we doing this or not?” I asked rolling my eyes at the men.
I could see Pam for once in agreement with me.
I gestured for Eric to show us what he wanted to. He walked down a hallway leading us to a stairwell.
“Is this your dungeon or something?” I joked.
“Yes.” Eric answered seriously.
Oh you’ve got to be kidding me.
“You first.” Dean growled not trusting Eric to go behind him.
“Guests first, I insist.” Eric said opening the door.
“Seriously?” I groaned, pushing past both men, and starting to walk down the steps.
I heard footsteps following behind me, they weren’t heavy like Dean’s so I knew they were Eric’s. He was close behind me.
I felt a chill run down my spine the closer he got.
“So, tell me y/n have any good dreams lately?” Eric whispered in my ear.
I about lost my footing, as my face went pale.
He knew?
How the fuck did he know that?
I quickly pulled myself together, I wouldn’t let him get under my skin.
“Yes in fact, Dean was in all of them.” I bit back.
“I bet he was.” Eric smirked.
I could hear some low growling sounds as we got to the bottom of the stairs.
He wasn’t kidding it really was a dungeon down here.
I felt Dean once again at my side.
Eric disappeared for a moment pulling a lever.
I heard the growling get louder, a vampire descended from the ceiling suspended by silver chains.
He thrashed around trying to break free, the silver burning his skin as he did so.
“I found this one feeding on a human right outside my bar, he’s new, not yet a month old.” Eric said.
“A newborn, I’m guessing his maker is nowhere to be found.” I said eyeing up the vamp.
He looked weak, I would guess he’d been down here for a few days, starved of blood.”
“Oh on the contraire, his maker is very much around, in fact he’s responsible for the surge of newborns, that’s where we need to go.” Eric said.
“How do you know that?” I asked him.
“We’ve been spending a lot of quality time together lately.” Eric joked.
“Where’s his maker?” Dean asked.
“Only thing I can’t get out of him. What do you think she’s for?” Eric asked nodding at me.
Dean was quick to put an arm out in front of me.
Before Dean could protest Eric spoke.
“Tell me guard dog do you know her blood type?” Eric asked Dean.
“AB Negative.” Dean answered quickly.
I was a little shocked that he knew that, but I guess I had to be given blood a time or two since we started hunting.
“Yes, the rarest of all blood types, a delicious treat for a vampire, a treat that is very very hard to resist.” Eric answered.
Oh great so basically I was crack for vampires.
“I’m not giving any of my blood.” I growled.
“Oh you won’t have to.” Eric said stepping closer to me. “Just your scent alone will drive him mad.” Eric added inhaling.
“Fine.” I said rolling my eyes.
“If it even moves an inch, I’m shooting.” Dean says taking aim at the newborn vampire.
I took a few steps closer to the still thrashing vampire.
Eric was right, as soon as I was within distance, his fangs popped, his neck craned to hiss at me.
“I don’t think you want to do that.” I warned.
He hissed again in response.
“See that gun, it’s loaded with uv administering bullets, it’ll feel like the sun is invading every part of your body, it will be a most unpleasant sensation.” I explained.
Dean aimed the gun a little higher, waiting for the vampire to make a wrong move.
“Don’t make him have to use it, all you have to do is tell us where your maker resides, and all this can go away.”
“Fuck all of you.” The vampire spat.
“Why are you protecting him?” I asked circling him.
“He’s my master.” He answered.
“Well he clearly doesn’t care about you, he left you to fend for yourself.” I pushed.
“He released you?” Eric questioned coming closer to me.
“Yes.” The vampire answered.
“You are no longer his problem then.” Eric said.
“You have no loyalty to him.” I added.
“Shut up all of you please.” The vampire cried out.
Eric and I were trying to break him down, and it was working.
“He wouldn’t care if we killed you right here right now, in fact he wouldn’t even think twice about it.” Eric pushed farther.
“In fact he’ll probably just make another to take your place, it’ll be like you never existed.” I said.
“I think we’ll go ahead and do just that.” Eric said popping out his fangs.
“Alright stop, please I’ll tell you, just don’t kill me”.
Eric gave me a satisfied look before going in the newborn’s face.
“Where is he?” Eric growled.
“He’s got a whole nest next to the old cemetery, he’s stashing humans there to feed us. Please now let me go, I did what you wanted.” He begged.
“You’ve been a great help.” Eric said putting his hand through the newborns chest producing his heart.
I could see betrayal flash on the newborns features as blood seeped from his mouth.
I turned away as Eric crushed his heart in his hand, causing the newborn to explode in to pieces.
“Was that necessary?” I asked kicking a chunk of vampire guts away from me.
“Yes, he broke the law so he must suffer the true death. It was either this or let your boyfriend fry him from the inside, I gave him a quick way out.” Eric said.
I took a deep breath, I needed to get out of here, the smell of vampire guts was starting to make me sick. I ran up the stairs, hearing both men trailing behind me.
“You mortals have such weak stomach’s.” Eric said going behind the bar.
He quickly produced a glass of water for me. I took it gratefully, choosing to ignore his comment.
“I need to go call Sam.” Dean said.
“I’ll be fine, go ahead.” I nodded.
“It’s not you I don’t trust.” Dean said glaring at Eric.
“If I wanted to kill either of you I would’ve done it by now.” Eric shrugs.
“Yeah well I’m still debating about killing you.” Dean said.
“For once we agree on something.” Eric retorted.
“For the love of god both of you stop acting like children!” I said slamming my hand down on the bar top.
I walked to the other side of the bar taking a seat in an empty booth. I was tired of the back and forth. Dean gave me a apologetic look before stepping out to call Sam.
I rolled my eyes as Eric joined me in the booth.
“What do you want now?” I groaned.
“Quite a temper he’s got on him.” Eric said.
“I can see you got your own guard dog.” I said nodding my head towards Pam who looked like she wanted to rip my head off for even daring to breathe the same air as her maker.
“Yes Pam, she’s my..” He started.
“Your progeny.” I cut him off.
“How did you know that?”
“I’m not completely dim Eric, I put the pieces together. I saw how you looked when talking about your maker, it’s the same way Pam looks at you.” I shrugged.
“Jealous?” Eric smirked.
“Did you save her too?” I asked ignoring his comment.
“Yes in fact I did. I didn’t set out to create Pam, but if I didn’t turn her she was going to die, and Pam had a hard life, I thought she deserved a little good.” Eric spoke tenderly.
“I guess you didn’t leave her at least.” I said.
“I never would, I made her this way, it’s my responsibility to look out for her, teach her, just as Godric did me.” Eric said.
“Hmm so you can insightful, good to know.” I said offering him a nod.
“You never answered my question earlier, any good dreams lately?” Eric smirked.
I rolled my eyes at his teasing.
“I guess you’ll never know.” I shrugged.
“I have a feeling your boyfriend doesn’t know either.” Eric pushed.
“Okay I’m debating on killing you now.” I said annoyed.
“It’s okay if you did dream of me, I mean it is a side effect of taking my blood after all.” Eric said nonchalantly leaning back in the seat.
I spit out the water I was drinking as the words left his lips.
“Wait what?”
I don’t remember taking his blood.
I remembered then the kiss, when I pulled away Eric had blood on his lip.
“You see when we kissed, I accidentally cut my lip on my fang and you drank some of my blood. It was what allowed you to break my nose, it gave you a boost of strength. Unfortunately it does come with a few side effects.” Eric explained.
Accidentally?
I somehow didn’t believe that.
“You mean when you forced me to kiss you.” I growled.
“Ah yes forgot about that little detail.”
“Yeah what else did you forget to tell me?” I asked balling my fists.
“You see now that you have my blood inside you, I’ll be able to locate you quickly, and I can feel the things you feel. In return your innately more attracted to me, dreaming of me. You and I are bonded now.” Eric explained.
I suddenly felt very violated.
“I didn’t want that, I didn’t want any of this.” I bit.
Eric chuckled and leaned in close.
“Oh come on you’re not fooling anyone.” He whispered.
I could feel my heartbeat uptick just from his proximity to me. I couldn’t control it, it was as if it completely shut my brain out and was thinking on its own.
“I don’t want anything to do with you, in fact I can’t wait for this whole thing to be over so I never have to see you again.” I growled.
“I think you’re forgetting I feel what you feel, I know that’s a lie.” Eric said sliding a little closer.
“It’s not.” I defended.
“I know you want me.” Eric said placing one of his large hands on my thigh.
I sucked in a sharp breath trying to calm myself.
“You want me just as much as I want you.” Eric added trailing his hand upwards.
I quickly jumped up causing his hand to fall.
“Sorry you’re dead wrong I love Dean.” I growled walking away from him.
I was relieved when Dean came back. I quickly walked over to him wrapping my arms around him. He was surprised for a minute but hugged me back.
I can’t believe I admitted my love for Dean, to Eric of all people.
I seriously needed some therapy now.
“Sam’s going to meet us there.” Dean said.
I nodded my head.
“Let us get a few things and we’ll meet you there.” I nodded to Eric.
“No chance, I’m coming with you. I don’t trust you mortals either.” Eric said grabbing his jacket.
I guess that was fair.
“Eric, I’m coming with you.” Pam spoke.
“No Pam, I need you to stay here and handle opening. I’ll be fine don’t worry about me.” Eric said walking over to her and placing a kiss on her forehead.
Pam gave me a look, one that said if he gets hurt you’re dead.
I gave her a silent nod that it would be fine. I wouldn’t let Dean kill him.
I might still kill him, but Dean won’t.
Eric followed us back to the impala.
I opened the trunk where we stored all our weapons, or most of them at least. I grabbed a silencer putting it on the end of my pistol, the last thing we needed was to attract more attention.
I grabbed some silver chains as well as some silver bullets in case we ran out of the uv ones. I grabbed a wooden stake, before turning back around.
“Really?” Eric asked rolling his eyes.
“I would stay out of the crossfire if I was you.” I threatened.
Dean smirked as he shut the trunk.
Eric zipped to the old cemetery while Dean and I drove. I could see headlights at the entrance belonging to Sam.
It was eerily quiet.
Eric led the way as Sam, Dean and I aimed our guns, taking in our surroundings.
We walked a few steps seeing and hearing nothing.
“I don’t think anyone’s here.” Sam said.
Of course as he said that, a newborn came out of the dark and lunged towards my neck.
Eric was faster and caught the newborn by the neck while Dean shot a bullet through it’s chest. It immediately sank to the ground in agonizing pain as the uv bullet pulsed in its chest.
As if on queue we were surrounded by insatiable newborns, all looking for one thing, our blood.
I took a deep breath.
“Dog, keep her close, her smell will drive them mad.” Eric said pushing me closer to Dean.
Dean gave Eric an almost silent thank you.
It was as if they were suddenly given a silent command to attack, the newborns rushed towards us fangs bared. I fired multiple rounds finding a different target each time.
I could feel my ears ringing from the gunshots as well as the wailing of newborns who were being fried by the uv bullets.
I stumbled crashing in to Eric.
He caught me quickly standing me up on my feet.
I ran out of bullets shortly after, having to resort to the stake and silver daggers. I was wrestling with a particularly strong vampire, my silver dagger doing little to deter it’s advances. I lost my footing falling to the ground with the vampire. I held an arm to it’s throat keeping it’s fangs away from my face.
It was getting harder and harder to hold it back. I suddenly felt blood splatter on my face as a wooden stake stuck out of the vampires chest.
“Oh fuck.” I heard the vampire groan before exploding.
Dean quickly picked me up brushing me off.
“Dean watch out.” I called.
A vampire was approaching him quickly.
But this one wasn’t a newborn.
It moved far better, it was more experienced.
It was the maker we had been looking for.
And it was coming straight for Dean.
I didn’t know what I was doing until I was already moving.
I quickly shoved Dean out of harm’s way.
I felt a hand go around my neck and teeth sink in to my flesh.. and then I felt nothing.
Dean
“Dean watch out.” I heard her voice call.
Before I had time to react I was being shoved to the side. I looked up to see a vampire grab her by the neck and sink his teeth in to her throat.
“No!” I screamed, grabbing my gun and firing six or seven silver bullets in to it’s chest.
Eric noticed the commotion and ran up behind the vampire pulling it’s heart out ultimately ending it.
I quickly ran over as y/n slumped to the ground, her hand going up to try and cauterize her wound. I quickly replaced her hand with my own, putting as much pressure as I could to stop the bleeding. I felt the tears already welling up in my eyes as the blood gushed from her neck despite the pressure I applied.
“Dean.” I heard her gasp, her eyes filling with tears.
I was soon joined by Sam.
“Dean, her jugular is severed, what do we do.” Sam panicked.
I didn’t know what to do.
She was losing too much blood too fast.
I let out a sob running my other hand down her cheek.
“It’s okay baby don’t worry, you’re going to be okay.” I sobbed kissing her forehead.
“Dean it’s okay I’m not afraid.”
How could she say it’s okay.
Nothing is okay!
“It’s not okay, please just hang on.” I cried.
“Dean, I’m in the arms of my first love, I’m with the only man I’ve ever loved, I’m okay.” I could hear her choke barely getting it out.
She loved me?
It was the words I had been longing to hear for years, but not now.
“I love you too, I love you so much which is why you can’t leave me.” I begged.
I looked over seeing Sam now crying too.
I looked back to her face, noticing it go paler and paler.
My hand was doing little to stop the massive blood loss.
Her eyes slowly fluttered shut as she lost consciousness.
She was dying.
My love, my world, dying in my arms.
I couldn’t let that happen.
I wouldn’t.
I gently laid her down, grabbing my gun.
I pointed it at Eric who was standing there just watching with furrowed brows.
He acted like he was hurt by the situation, like he cared about her.
“Change her.” I growled.
“Dean, you can’t.” Sam said as he started standing up.
“Sit the fuck down Sam.” I screamed at him.
I turned back around to Eric who still hasn’t moved.
“I said fucking change her, now.” I hissed.
He made no movements.
I fired a single silver bullet right in to his shoulder making him hiss in pain.
“I’m not asking again fucking do it.” I screamed.
“I don’t think you know what you’re asking for.” Eric said.
“I don’t care, I’m not losing her, do it.” I said.
I wasn’t thinking straight, all I could think about was that I didn’t want to live without her.
“I don’t even know if it’ll work.” Eric growled getting closer.
“Try, you fucking owe us that much.” I growled.
Eric gave me one last look before sinking his fangs in her neck wound, completely draining her of blood.
I sank to my knees as he bit his wrist forcing it in her mouth.
“I need you to start digging a hole big enough for the both of us.” He said once her heartbeat stopped.
“Why?” Sam asked.
“It’s either that or she dies from sunlight exposure.” He growled dripping more blood in to her mouth.
“Sam go.” I growled.
“Dean you can’t be serious with this?” Sam protested.
“Goddamnit Sam go.” I yelled.
He gave me one last look before running off to dig a hole. Eric finally yanked his wrist away going to help Sam dig. I crawled over to her now lifeless body.
“I’m so sorry baby, this is all my fault.” I sobbed on her chest, not caring that I was getting covered in her blood.
I didn’t protect her.
I should’ve protected her.
It should’ve been me.
“Alright move.” Eric growled pushing me off of her.
I grabbed my gun pointing it at him. I wanted nothing more than to kill him right then and there, but if this worked, she would need him.
He lifted her carefully in his arms jumping down in the hole that was dug. He gently laid her down, before laying down himself and cuddling her body to his chest.
I couldn’t stand the sight,
“Now cover us up. No sunlight can seep through or we’ll both die.” He growled.
“How will I know if it worked?” I said utterly defeated.
“If she wakes up tomorrow night, you’ll know.” Eric said.
I grabbed a shovel dumping dirt over them.
I couldn’t stop the tears from falling as I buried her.
Once I was sure she was far enough underground I collapsed as my body racked with sobs.
“Dean what did you do?” Sam questions sitting down beside me.
“I don’t know Sam, I couldn’t let her go.” I cried.
“It would’ve been better than this, Dean she wouldn’t want this.” Sam said.
I felt rage cloud over my eyes. I turned around shoving Sam.
“It wouldn’t have been better how can you say that?” I seethed.
“Dean I loved her too.” He started.
“No you didn’t, not like I did.” I whispered.
“So what you’re just going to wait here until tomorrow night?” He scoffed.
“If I have too.” I snapped.
I didn’t care what it took.
I was going to see her again.
“I’m sorry Dean but I can’t be part of this, I won’t.” Sam said.
I didn’t answer him.
If he didn’t want to be apart of this then he can go.
“Dean?” Sam pushed again as if he was going to change my mind.
When I didn’t answer him for the second time he finally left.
I brought my knees to my chest laying down beside the pile of dirt that contained her. I felt as if I died right along with her.
Reader
Am I dead?
Is this what death is like?
A permanent darkness?
I felt something cold and heavy on my body.
Where was I?
I can’t remember anything.
I felt something stir beside me alerting all of my senses.
I tried to move my hand and realized I was surrounded by dirt.
Was I buried alive?
What was going on?
I was panicking now.
I quickly started digging trying to free myself.
I was suddenly being ripped from the dirt by a strong hand.
Moonlight flooded my eyes as I took a sharp breath in.
It however provided no relief to my burning throat.
“It’s okay, everything is okay.” I quickly flipped around seeing a tall blonde.
I felt my memories come back like a flash flood.
Eric. Dean. Vampires. Death.
I died.
But I was still here.
That’s impossible.
Unless….
“I’m a..” I started too stunned to speak.
“A vampire.” Eric finished.
I looked at him, suddenly feeling a pull towards him, an unexplainable urge to protect and care for him.
I realized then that he was my maker.
He did this to me.
“I don’t understand.” I said grabbing my throat that was still burning.
“I saved you, you were dying and I saved you.” Eric said taking a step closer.
I found that my vampire self didn’t want him to step away, I wanted him to take me in his arms and tell me everything was going to be okay.
“I’m so..”
“Thirsty, I know, I’m going to take care of you.” Eric said.
Thirsty.
For blood.
I craved blood.
It made me sick, but I needed it.
Eric was about to take me away when a voice caught my attention.
“y/n?”
Dean
I laid by the freshly dug grave until I could see the sun starting to set.
If this worked she’d be up soon.
Please god let it work.
I sat up when I heard something stirring.
Eric arose out of the grave, eyes clouding with fury when he saw me standing there.
“You need to leave now.” He growled.
No fucking way.
“I’m not leaving.” I pushed back.
“Look she will be insatiable, and you’re covered in blood, so unless you want her to have your death on her conscience for eternity you’ll leave.” Eric said this time putting his hands on me and shoving me away from the grave.
“It worked?” I asked ignoring his request.
I couldn’t believe it worked.
“I need to see her.” I said, standing my ground.
“I need to feed her, so unless you want to become her meal you’ll leave. This is the last chance I’m offering you!” Eric growled.
I hesitantly backed up.
I didn’t want to torment her new senses.
I sighed before jogging off in to the tree line so I was out of sight.
I watched as Eric stuck his hand in the dirt pulling her out.
She still looked like herself, but everything was more defined now.
I felt my heart break as her eyes looked around terrified.
Oh god..
What did I do?
“It’s okay, everything is okay.” Eric assured her.
Her face contorted with realization.
“I’m a..”
“A vampire.” Eric confirmed for her.
I could see her heartbreaking for just her face.
She didn’t want this.
I did this.
Oh god.
What did I do?
I felt the tears start to cloud my vision.
I was completely selfish.
Sam was right, she didn’t want this. But I wouldn’t listen.
“I’m going to take care of you.” I heard Eric say as he went to leave with her.
I couldn’t let him.
I stepped out of the tree line.
“y/n?”
She quickly whipped around in my direction. I saw her eyebrows contort in pain as she looked at me. Eric grabbed her hand bringing her to his side.
“It’s okay y/n, come here, I’ll help you.” I said taking a step closer.
She didn’t budge. Instead just stared at me with longing eyes.
I heard Eric chuckle making me growl.
“Remember that part where I said you had no idea what you were asking for?” Eric taunted.
“y/n come here.” I said again choosing to ignore him.
“Sorry, she only listens to me, she calls me daddy now.” Eric jabbed.
No.
This was all wrong.
This isn’t what I wanted.
I felt my hands shaking.
What did I do?

Let Me In
Eric Northman x human! Reader
Summary: inspired by scenes from ep. 3x02 & 3x03 as well as a couple other plot points in the show (but plot is quite vague anyway)
Word count: 1517
“You’re going to invite me in” he stated, slowly, in that gentle purr his voice always sounded to my ears.
I took a step back, partially to hide the jolt that went through my body at those words. “And why would I do that?”
I wondered if he could sense the change in pace of my palpitations. They were yet to invent a way to disguise that from a vampire's super hearing.
“So I can protect you” He took a step forward. Then another, equally measured. “Or have passionate primal sex with you”.
When my hands touched the wood of the door behind me he stopped, slightly tilting his head: “Possibly both”
I gulped. I didn’t even realize that I had been backing away.
“You’re not gonna distract me by talking nasty” I said, perfectly aware that I was the one trying to distract him from the effect he was having on me.
He smirked, leaning down and invading even more of my personal space. “I already have”.
“So…are you going to invite me in?”
“That’s not how it works” I scolded him, a warning look on my face.
“Pity” He leaned back. “As soon as you let me know what the rules are, I’ll be more than happy to play along”
I stared at him for a moment, different streams of thoughts racing through my brain. “Do you really think something might happen to me tonight?”
“There’s a good chance it might. Tonight, the night after that, it doesn’t make much of a difference. I’d rather be safe than sorry” He cut short.
“Alright. I am going to invite you in…” I began, placing my hand on his chest to stop him from taking another step forward. “If you promise not to cross this threshold and to leave me alone the minute I do.”
“Well, that’s no fun”
“Eric.”
He nodded. “I promise. If that’s what you want”
“It is” I lied, but he didn’t need to know that. “You will be able to sense it if I’m in some kind of trouble, right?”
“Correct.”
“Good. Then you’re officially invited to come inside, Eric Northman…if I should need your help” I specified in an eloquent tone.
“Thank you.” His hand reached out to move a strand of hair behind my ear, with a tenderness that was as unexpected as disarming coming from someone like him.
I struggled to fight back the instinct to immediately take back everything I had just said, but I couldn't help but at least smile at him.
He smiled back at me and pulled his hand away. “Goodnight, Y/N”
A moment later he had literally vanished into thin air.
I closed the door behind me with a sigh, my heart now beating wildly. Sleeping was going to be no easy feat after all that.
I tried to prepare myself calmly, retracing all the steps of my usual nighttime routine in order to banish any kind of thoughts from my mind, both the positive and the negative.
When I finally got into bed, however, it was impossible to avoid those piercing blue eyes and features so beautiful they didn't seem real, which had so often populated my recent dreams.
Even though he had cheated by giving me his blood, a part of me couldn't help but think I would have dreamed of him regardless. After all, my daydreams were much the same way.
Eric’s eyes were my last conscious thought, then only darkness. And the sound of steps. Some kind of creature was approaching me. I could hear its menacing growl clearly now. I started running as fast as I could, but it seemed like the noise was only getting louder and more frightening. I turned a dark corner and my heart dropped realizing there was no way out of it. It was a dead-end. Then all of a sudden the floor opened up under my feet and I fell into an endless dark pit.
I let out a scream so loud I must have woken myself up. I felt cold arms holding me and instinctively fought to free myself from their grip, still screaming. Did the creature that was following me finally catch me?
“Hey” Two hands were cradling my face in an instant, gently. “it’s okay, it’s me, you’re alright”
I blinked once, twice and finally the fog clouding my brain started to dissipate as I found myself back in my room, staring into those blue eyes again. But this time I was only not seeing them with my mind. Usually impenetrable, they now betrayed concern as they studied my expression intently.
“What are you doing here?” I managed to utter in the end.
He looked a little uncomfortable, as if he was afraid I might be mad at him. “I sensed your fear”
It finally hit me: the chase, the panic I felt, it was all a dream. But he couldn’t tell the difference and thought I was actually in danger. I felt a blush quickly rising to color my cheeks and I rested my head against his chest to hide my embarrassment. “Oh my god, it was a stupid nightmare”
His arms slid up and down my back, holding me close in a protective grip. “It’s definitely quite a relief”
“I’m sorry you had to come all the way here for that”
“I’m not” he said, a half-smirk curving his lips.
“Eric” I leaned back and looked up at his face, trying to recover some sense of distance between us, but we were too close this time. And there was no invisible magical barrier I could cross.
He understood what I needed, slightly loosening the grip of his arms to allow me freedom of movement, but his eyes remained locked in mine. “Do you want me to go?”
I opened my mouth to respond but not a word came out. I ran a hand through my hair nervously, eyes darting everywhere until his hand came up to gently cup my chin, forcing me to bring my attention back to him.
My eyes dropped to his lips. They looked even redder in contrast to his unnaturally pale skin.
He didn’t move, waiting, while my brain performed somersaults to find any valid excuse why I shouldn’t let this happen.
It couldn’t.
I had about half a second to be surprised at my own impetuousness as I crashed my lips against his, then my mind went blank.
My hands quickly travelled up his neck and tangled in his hair, pulling him to me as our mouths explored each other, greedy and eager.
I felt the blood rushing through my veins and speeding up my heartbeat until it was a loud pounding in my ears. I should have been frightened by how vulnerable that probably made me in his presence, but I wasn’t.
I wasn’t afraid of him or this in the slightest, everything about it felt too right. The feeling of his arms surrounding me again in secure hold, his hands gripping my shoulders and then cradling my face, his lips hungry, relentlessly pressing on mine in a silent request for access.
My mouth parted with a sigh, allowing his tongue to slip inside, deepening the kiss. Our bodies were flush against one another and in the blink of an eye he’d pulled me onto his lap and my hands moved to his shoulders to regain my balance, lips still locked together in a restless dance.
“Hey!” I jokingly protested, finally parting for air after what felt like a two-hour apnea. “Some of us here still need to breathe”
“Mmm, you know that’s something I can easily remedy” He grinned, lips teasingly trailing up my neck and leaving nothing but small kisses behind.
“Don’t even think about that”
“What a shame” His eyes found mine again, thumb lightly stroking my cheek. “You’d make a stunning vampire”
I simply smiled at that, leaning down to capture his lips again. The kiss was slower this time, less frantic; but languid, our lips slowly taking their time to savor each other.
I felt him grin into the kiss as my hands moved in the small space between our bodies and started unbuttoning his shirt.
“Wait a minute” I abruptly stopped and shot him a worried look. “You can’t stay here”
He raised both eyebrows in disbelief. “You cannot be serious right now”
“No, I mean…what about the sun?”
He burst into a soft chuckle, shaking his head. “Good thing you people have invented blinds”
“True, guess humans aren’t all that bad, uh? ” I smirked.
“They have their moments” He conceded, looking at me.“But you do realize” he began, tone dropping suggestively, “that means I’m going to be stuck in this room for the entire day, right?”
I bit my bottom lip and shamelessly let my eyes wander over his messy hair and the half-unbottoned shirt on his chest, drinking it all in: he was one to talk about “stunning”. Then I brought my lips close to his ear: “I’m sure I can think of a way to keep you occupied”

Familiar- Eric Northman x witch!y/n
Just a small Eric x y/n oneshot that I couldn't get out of my mind as I'm watching True Blood for the first time. Hopefully more to come as I finish watching it...
My hand had started cramping with the effort of the continuous stirring of my cauldron. My most recent calming potion was in a particularly tricky phase and I certainly didn’t want to have to start over. The shimmering fumes coming off of the cauldron spiraled around my head and the condensation beaded against my eyelashes. Between the floral smell of the potion, the flickering candle light, and the summer heat, my head started to feel heavy and I literally had to fight with my eyelids to keep me awake so I could continue stirring.
Once the stirring pattern was complete, I lowered the gas on the stove and ran a hand over my burning eyes. The potion had to simmer for a few minutes before the next steps and I desperately needed to sit down.
Before I could even take a step the hairs prickled on my neck as I felt eyes on me. This wasn’t like the spirits I often felt around the area, these were actual, physical eyes. I stilled, closing my eyes and sensing around me before opening them a moment later, my body immediately relaxing as I recognized the scent wafting through my back door. “It’s rude to linger in doorways, Eric,” I said, turning around to stare at the tall Viking leaning against the open door.
He smirked, sending my heart into flutters. Any idiot could see that Eric Northman was a good looking man. Gorgeous even. As a human and a vampire, especially when the paleness brought out the blue of his already striking eyes. Usually witches and vamps stayed away from each other. But the area around Bon Temps was only so big and the supernatural circles were pretty small.
“I’m not lingering. I’m just waiting to be invited in,” he said, running his hands along the door jamb.
I chuckled, turning around to fill up my kettle. “You know you don’t need to be invited in, Eric.” The vampire had been coming over weekly for a few months now. The first time I had invited him in was when we were both dealing with the typical drama around Bon Temps and he thought I needed protection. After that, he started showing up on random nights. He was like a stray cat, coming and going as he pleased.
“Well, I wouldn’t want you to think I was being rude,” He said, strolling in through my back door and pulling one of the kitchen chairs out. He sat on it backwards, his hands draped over the back of the chair and his head resting on his arms, watching me as I mill about the kitchen making tea.
“You? Nobody could ever mistake you as rude,” I said, pulling down my favorite mug from the cabinet. He chuckled but didn’t answer. I looked back and was met with the familiar sight of him sitting in my chair, watching me. It had become quite a habit of his it seemed. Most nights he didn’t say anything, and I sat in his comfortable silence, working on whatever project was keeping my hands busy.
I poured my tea and pulled out a kitchen chair, sitting across from Eric. We didn’t say anything for a few minutes. I just sat and watched him as he looked around my kitchen. I followed his gaze, getting lost in my little kitchen. It wasn’t much. I had found a small farmhouse for sale that was over 100 years old. With how long I had been alive, money wasn’t much of a problem. I fixed up the house with a few modern touches but it wasn’t anything crazy. I had kept the kitchen large but simple. Green cabinets with wooden counter tops, little trinkets, cook and spell books, brass pots and pans. And of course the dozens of bulks of drying herbs, cauldrons of various sizes, and candles on every available surface. Despite modern times, I had always preferred candle light over artificial.
Keeping my kitchen stocked was always important for my business. I had become Bon Temps resident healer. The people were skeptical at first, and most probably didn’t realize I was an actual witch. The potions and charms I made and sold could be considered healers work - natural remedies to most common ailments. I knew my clientele and didn’t charge an arm and a leg for medicines. This kept orders from the townfolk very steady, along with a steady income. i had always taken great pride in my work and craft, and with the sprawling gardens I had to upkeep for my ingredients.
My wandering eyes went back to the vampire in my kitchen, and I was a little startled when the shocking blue eyes were already looking at mine. I slowly smiled before sipping my tea. Eric mirrored my smile and the sight almost took my breath away and made my chest flutter again.
“Can I ask you something?” I murmured around the lip of the mug. Eric nodded, the smile still on his face. “Why do you keep coming here?”
The smile left his face and something was in his eyes that I couldn’t quite place. “Do you not like me coming here?”
“No, I do,” I said, pulling my knees up to my chest and wrapping my arms around them. “I just don’t understand,” I trailed off. Quite frankly, I loved the quiet nights featuring Eric’s company and I was often disappointed on the nights he didn't come by. I was always shown a softer side of him that I felt most people very rarely got a chance to see.
He looked around the room, almost like he was unsure before settling his eyes back on me. “You’re familiar.” He didn’t say anything when I raised my eyebrows questioningly at him. It was another minute before he spoke. “The smell of your kitchen, the herbs, the candlelight, it reminds me of home. Of my human life.” I had no idea what to say to that. I kept staring at him and he did the same.
“Oh,” I mumbled. I didn’t even know what to say. The thought of bringing him that sense of comfort was…well, I didn’t even know what word to use to describe the warmth that settled in my chest.
“You, calm me. Honestly in ways I didn’t know I could be anymore,” he continued. He stared into the fire and seemed to get lost in thought.
We sat in silence for about ten more minutes, both of us lost in thought. “Do you ever miss the cold?” I blurted out.
“What?” He asked. He didn’t seem annoyed, just genuinely curious.
“The cold. I grew up in the north and I miss genuine winters so much. It’s always so hot here all the time. It never snows, their version of cold is like, 70 degrees, and I have boxes of sweaters just going to waste.” As I rambled, the smile on Eric’s face got bigger and bigger until it stretched his face. “What?” I laughed.
“I do miss the cold. Very much,” he finally said, shaking his head. I chuckled, and took another sip of my tea.
“Eric, you know I don’t mind you coming over. You’re always welcome here.” I said standing up and putting my hand on his shoulder.
He stared at me before grabbing my hand and lightly kissing the back of it. “Thank you, Y/N.”
I could feel the blush creeping up my neck and into my cheeks. Eric’s eyes followed the trail of color and he smiled again. I had to look away from his piercing eyes before I melted on the spot. My eyes caught my cauldron on the stove and I jumped.
“My potion!” I said rushing over to the stove and adding the few ingredients I needed. I don’t know how long I worked on it, before I remembered Eric’s presence. I looked back, and he was in the same spot, staring at me with an incredibly soft look on his face. I smiled, and turned back to the stove, not minding the Vikings presence in my kitchen. And hoping that his visits became a more regular occurrence.
