Maybe you could tag them like Stance : RQ pro or something to make it where if people want to find something Anti RQ they can, but also still have everything in one place ? Sorry ifs a bad suggestion !!!
Also I'm sorry abt that anon who was talking abt public validation, that did come off very passive aggressive and you'll don't deserve that !
Also you guys are very very cool ! And remember to take breaks for yourselves !
That is a very good idea! If we do implement tags like that, it likely will not be used to indicate a coiner's personal stance (given that would require us to memorise the stances of many, many, *many* people, which would be exhausting and slow down our work considerably, not to mention the many dimensions of discourse opinions out there!), but rather an indication of a stance expressed within a term or flag itself. So... antiradqueerfuckoff would get a, 'stance: anti-radqueer' tag, but radqueerfuckoff would get a, 'stance: pro-radqueer' tag.
This, in combination with the 'made by radqueer' tag someone else suggested, would easily allow those who wish to avoid seeing things that are even slightly pro-radqueer do so, while also allowing them to see things that are anti-radqueer if they wish to. Likewise, radqueers would be able to filter out terms related to anti-radqueerism if they chose to do so, which supports our value of remaining as unbiased as we can be in our archiving.
This could potentially be expanded towards other common discourses as well. The more I think about it, the more I like this idea. At current, we tend to be very slow when it comes to archiving terms related to specific discourse opinions, largely for our own anxiety. I believe that tags like this would assist with that anxiety and make it easier for us to archive them.
Unfortunately it is an inevitable part of having a platform. It is annoying, and we will try to say something when we are being treated rudely, but it cannot be avoided entirely. Fortunately, it is not very common. People are very kind to us and we receive little hate. We are very grateful for that, it means a lot to us to be treated so well.
Thank you, that is kind of you to say!!

now that i’m pretty solidly more than halfway through the book i’ve started to think very seriously about what changes i’ll make when editing Lay Me Down and have come to the following two important conclusions:
agnes’s internalized homophobia neeeds to be worse
pallas should make WAY more pretentious literary references than they currently do

it's crazy that they're letting me manage a student cafe even though i'm an insufferable prick. i guess my work history of suffering under truly shitty managers doing unpleasant jobs has given me acute sensibilities re: management & working in food service. maybe my qualifications are actually relevant and the world is not working to sabotage this. i keep thinking i'll never get jobs at my uni because somehow everyone knows i'm evil.

my least favorite part of the creative process is when I have to take a hammer to the rough draft I'm very attached to in order to reshape it into a final work that's objectively much better. because in the middle of smashing it with a hammer it feels like I'm just making it all Worse, and knowing that's not true doesn't stop the feeling when it currently looks like.... this

Headcanon that Echani are not poisoned by chocolate as most canid species are, but instead are stimulated by it, with effects on their body being much like caffeine. Its mild toxicity results in upset stomachs if ingested in large quantities but induces interesting symptoms, so chocolate is a popular consumable in place of the galactic preference for Caf on Eshan. This results in rather humorous displays come the Festival of Love when the galaxy hands out sweets to their persons of affection, without knowing that to Echani, chocolate symbolizes wanting to make a deal...and bouts of hyperactivity.

Btw, if you're like me and have some mods installed by the latest patch and you would like to smooch Gale, here are some instructions to downgrade to Pre-Patch 4 via the comments on the Appearance Edit Enhanced mod 💜

“Other shortcomings [in communicating science] are evident in television science fiction programming. Star Trek, for example, despite its charm and strong international and interspecies perspective, often ignores the most elementary scientific facts. The idea that Mr. Spock could be a cross between a human being and a life-form independently evolved on the planet Vulcan is genetically far less probable than a successful cross of a man and an artichoke… There must be dozens of alien species on various Star Trek TV series and movies. Almost all we spend any time with are minor variants of humans. This is driven by economic necessity, costing only an actor and a latex mask, but it flies in the face of the stochastic nature of the evolutionary process. If there are aliens, almost all of them I think will look devastatingly less human than Klingons and Romulans.”

Actually accomplished a bit on the snake in assembly game today.
Implemented user input. Much easier than I feared it was going to be. Basically just wrote some code and it worked. Implemented logic to move the snake. Which wasn't that bad. I think I did some minor edits to the logic creating the segments and it was good.
Extended the printing of the game state code. Basically just adding code to print the snake segments. Most of it's just copy and paste of the logic for printing the snake's head.
At this point you could move the snake head around but you would leave a trail of segments behind you. Not quite what I intended so the final thing I did was:
Write code to remove the last element of the snake. It's the "remove_tail" label. This one was a pain in the ass. Basically wrote it and then debugged, debugged, debugged. Saw the inherent flaw in the logic I was using, debugged, rewrote about half of it with new logic, debugged and it worked. And now the snake moves around without just leaving a trail of segments.
I think next is finally the pseudorandom number generator for placing of the fruit and then I can implement the rest of the game logic.
