more art for the pokemon au! this time, we’ve got trey and cater! (: concept notes under the cut (because i love to ramble :’D)

trey’s team is as we see it in the fic: jigglypuff, munchlax, and smeargle. he also has other pokemon he uses, one of which we’ve already seen: his alcremie (ruby swirl, clover sweet) and his slurpuff. i think they fit him well! im not giving him a fidough LOL.

his regular outfit took a bit of thinking tbh. it took a bit of back and forth between thinking about what i would THINK he’d wear and what he’s been seen wearing. i ended up referencing his child appearance in the twst manga and gave him a nice hoodie. spiced it up with a shirt underneath the likes of which only kpop idols are styled in on stage (LMAO). he struck me as a fairly casual guy, and the design i ended up with was pretty solid imo! and i do believe that he does occasionally show up to his gym with his uniform from the bakery

his gym badge is pretty fucking ostentatious. im pretty sure badges arent supposed to be that flashy. theyre way too small for that but my brain went “the design has to be like this!!!!” really, all that’s important to look at is the gem in the middle - which you will soon see is a running theme across twisted wonderland’s gym badges. if you wanted to minimize the elements on it, just imagine the playing card only without the roses. but keep the gem - that’s important

as for cater... well, he’s currently just yuu’s guide, so i wanted to reflect a casual design of a casual companion, but also a bit of a mentor. ultimately, i went with a design i thought fit cater. i was pretty fixated on him wearing the baseball shirt for some reason, as well as the compression pants. the white slip-ons were a must as well. i just threw in the fanny pack because he would so be the type.

his team... oh god his team. he has a sunny day sunflora with heat rock and that’s already horrifying. if you’re not sure what that means, just know that sunny day allows solar beam to be used in one turn instead of two. togekiss also has fire blast. for a casual guy i gave him a really horrifying team LMAO

will we see lopunny mega evolve? not sure yet. i didn’t draw it, but cater’s mega stone is totally an earring.

(btw his sunflora says “eek!’ and “yippee!” but only yuu can hear this. 100%)

But consider tho now that RE au is MAS the concept of Ace and Sabo trying to out do each other in the shooting range bc the prize is they get to top and Marco gets to watch bc he likes the competition between them

Sabo wins by a small margin but only because he’s faster at reloading a standard pistol

Ace wants a rematch using rifles but Marco’s been refereeing and calls Sabo’s win from his pretty perch (cuz yall know hes sitting there looking all doe eyed and lovely n sweet bc he is aiquahwhage)

Maybe Marco shouldve allowed them a round using their own preferred firearm but the desire to see Ace get bent over and thoroughly ravished is too tempting

And Sabo delivers, Marco’s never ever heard Ace make a noise like that before and yes he absolutely wants to hear it again

Mimikyu is so small…

I don’t often actually try and figure out pokemon AUs for things but I was thinking about Wesker as potentially being a Dark type and Ghost type trainer and having a Mimikyu. Those Pokemon on like 8inches tall! I have a 9 inch Mimikyu plus and that can sit in one palm and I’m only 5’3. Wesker in most my AUs(except like one or two) is 6’5.

I need to try and draw that once my brain starts cooperating.
